I want to go home...

I heard something.

A voice calling out to me.

But I couldn't tell who it was.

Next thing I know, I'm stuck here. In Equestria.

Waking up. Don't we all hate it? Especially if we have to go to school or work. You just wanna stay in bed and sleep some more. This always confuses me. Why do we all love sleeping when we don't even know we're doing it, and it goes so quickly. Everytime I fall asleep, I suddenly wake up again and, bam, it's morning, and I have to get up and go to school.

But this time... this time is different. I don't even know how I got here. All I remember was walking through the forest near my home, and seeing something. I didn't know what it was, but I ran after it anyway. I've always been curious, but that doesn't stop me from being mortally afraid of the unknown. I still followed it, though. After that I don't remember anything, except a voice. I didn't know who's it was, or where it was coming from. I just heard it. And then there was black.

I woke up, lying on the cold, hard ground. I couldn't open my eyes at first, so I panicked as usual. But after vigorously rubbing my eyes for 30 seconds I found I could open them. When I did, I saw myself staring up at trees. I thought I was still in the forest, but then I realised that these trees looked darker, scarier, monstrous. It was then that it hit me: I wasn't at home anymore.

Crap, I thought to myself. crap crap crap crap crap.

"Where am I?!" I wailed. I was about to start crying when I realised that wouldn't do me any good except water the sharp grass around me. So I stood up, and I began to climb a tree.

Which is where I am now.

I was a little worried about it at first (because they looked so frightening), but I swallowed all my fears and climbed.

It took a little while. But it was so worth it. The view up here is amazing. You can see for miles around. A glint's caught my eye. I turned my head and to the north of me, I can see what looks like a tall, crystal tree. I reckon it's about a good few miles away, but I'll make it.

I have to if I want to get home.
