My skin is cold, I hate waking up from cryo-stasus. Its even more horrible that my armor is going to be filled with whatever liquid they use to freeze us for the next hour. I knock on the glass window of the cryo-tube expecting someone to open it but no on does. "If you dont open the door, there wont be a door!" I yell. I wasn't expecting anyone to hear me through the three inches of glass. Now that I look at it, it seems somthing green is covering the outside of the glass. This is very.. unusual.
Almost an hour later I could hear the door hiss a bit as it depressurized. I push against the door and it opens. Whats outside is unsettling, moss covers everything. The other cryo-tubes are all opened and the base emergency lights are on. I open a locker next to my tube and retrieved my bulky helmet from it, forcing it on between the lardge metal plates surrounding my neck. My Helmet powers on and my heads up display fades into my vision.
"W-what? That cant be right!" I say as I reboot my helmet. Sure enough the date stays the same, it reads 12 september 7488. "what happend to everyone else?" I say out loud. I look at my wrist and a holo screen pops up, I scoll to the coms tab and view how many channels are open. None, no channels are open.
"D-did we lose the w-war?" I fall to my knees infront of my locker. "Did I sleep through it?" Anger raises up in my chest, I launch my fist at my locker and dent the back "GOD DAMN IT ALL!" I scream, standing up I grab the locker and hurl it across the hall into another cryo-tube.
I fucking hate Arkadia.. I read the cryo-logs and it turns out that some dumbass "accidentally" added a couple zeros to my four day slumber, bout a week later the whole fucking city got leveled as I slept, not even aware it happend. Installation records say we also took the world with us, launched enough nukes to take every other country out. Idiots... Probably some stuck up General with few to many codes.
Now im walking through Installation Nine's hanger, looking for a craft to get me out of this shithole. Quickly finding my favorite I ran for the cockpit. Ah, the Vtr-463, a beautiful aircraft built as a attack ship, its capable of carrying twenty-five tons and reaching a top speed of five-thousand miles per hour.
I check everything and it seems to be fine. No noticeble damage. After a few trips to the armory and base storage I think I have everything. I load the Vtr-463 with my cargo and attempt to power the engines on. The engines rotated and start up "Yes!" I put on a bit of throttal and the engines stall out "No!" I look at the screen infront of me and see the red light flashing on and off. God damn Nuclear Cores, so outdated.
Several core swaps later the beast hums to life. Alright lets get outa here. I look ahead and notice somthing. A giant ass door... "Fuck this im not stopping!" I punch the throttle and fire a HE-Plazma Missle at the barrier, easily melting enough wall to fit through.
"Ah!" the treehouse rumbles and shakes, books fall from their shelves. "What was that?!" I stand up onto my hooves. I walk over to my window and look out into town, a low roar can be heard in the distance and everypony is panicking. Suddenly out of nowhere four repeated bangs echo from the distance. The low roar is now very audiable, The windows shatter. Along with every other window in town... off in the distance another much louder explosion can be heard. "what was that!?" I yell. The ground shakes underneath the floors, this time much more violent.
"Ah, Piss!" engine's three and four just caught on fire. Lights are flashing, alarms are blaring. Im so stupid not to think of this! This ship has been sitting in the same place for thousands of years! Just rusting! I look at the altimeter is dropping fast. "Fuck!" I reach my hand down and release everything in the cargo. I hope with the reduced weight I'll be able to somewhat land, im not going to trust the eject. God knows if it even works. The ground is advancing faster towards the ship, brace! The ship hits the ground, my head jerks forward at the rough landing. I grab the controls and quickly pull them towards myself in an attempt to stop the ship, or at the very least slow it down. The ship slows and stops in the middle of a field. "Well that could have been worse.." An explosion sounds from engine three. I reach for the canopy relese but it breaks off. "Piece of shit!"
Please dont ignite the plazma missles.. please. I think quickly "Come on Veera think!" I reach for the ejection handle and yank it. This time not breaking off. "Oh, shit," The cogpit launches into the air "FFFUUUUUUUUCCCKKKKKKKK!" The cogpit hits the earth, glass shatters, it rolls a bit and stops. "Thats it!" I unbuckle and raise my foot, slaming it right into the window frame. I hop out of the deathtrap and take my helmet off, I grab my rifle out of the cockpit and drop to my knees vomiting a four thousand year old meal all over the ground.
I notice somthing blue standing infront of me, I look up. Standing infront of me is a little blue pony with wings. "This day is just getting weirder and weirder..." I stand up and pick grab my helmet clicking it into place upon my head. A high pitched whine can be heard from the ship not to far away. "Shit the missles!" I grab the little blue pegasus start to sprint from the wreck. The pagasus it resisting and insulting me, insulting me? The missles detonate and plazma heated shrapnal hits me in the back. Im hit with the shockwave next sending us into the air. I spit blood out of my mouth as I hit the ground and onto the helmets visor.
"What do you think it is?" Twilight asks me.
"Its a Pre-Equestrian creature, it calls itself human," I someone says. "A very violent race that lead themselves to extinction through war, or so me thought. With thier downfall came equestria." I she finishes.
Where am I? Why cant I move? I open my eyes to a bloody visor.
