EQG A Harem Love Story

It was a cool summer day in the town of Canterlot in Washington, U.S.A. The parking lot was buzzing in front of Canterlot High as students said hello to friends as they caught up on what they missed over the summer. Standing awkwardly in the school steps on the corner was none other than local shy girl Sugar Candy. She was a brunette teen with her hair tied up in a high ponytail that gently brushed her shoulders as her bangs covered her right eye. Her skin was a nice shade of yellow that blended well with her pink hoodie and turquoise tank top. To balance of her colors she wore a black skirt and black wedges that complimented her chocolate brown eyes. Her hair was caught in the breeze and she shield her eyes from the sun with her binder. This wasn’t anything new to her. She was already in her senior year of high school and had survived her first three years at CHS. How hard could one more year be.

“Where are they? They’re never late on the first day.” Sugar said as she looked around for her friends. The school was starting to fill quickly and her friends were taking longer than usual to arrive. It worried her. Even though she hated to admit it she wasn’t sure of what she would do if her friends were a no show.

“Sugar wait up”

“Huh” she said as she heard someone call her name. Tracking down the voice she noticed one of her friends approaching her.The girl had long hair that ended in spikes at the ends and double layered bangs. She had royal blue eyes that were accentuated with black eyeliner and a light purple eye shadow. Her outfit consisted of a well fitted purple top with a somewhat transparent material for the sleeves accompanied by a white skirt. She had a crossbody purple bag and white grecian style heels on. Her long legs and well fit curved body struck out as she walked with a sway of her hips and a strut of her legs. She was a confident girl and she knew she had the looks to be a model. As she passed by she waved to some of the guys staring at her and winked at them.

Shaking her head Sugar smiled as the girl reached her. “Hey Star."

“Hey Sugar. I see you got here early”

“When don’t I”

“Fair point. Let me guess, Night isn’t here.”

"That’s Night for us. She’s always late”

“Even on the first day. I swear Nebulas might throw a fit.”

Sugar smiled as she recall the morning she had getting ready. See unlike most of the girls here Sugar didn’t live with her family. In fact she hadn’t live with them since she started high school. Sugar herself used to live on her own living paycheck to paycheck until she stumbled into the Bloodrose Manor. Well castle was a better term to use. The place itself seemed pretty empty from the outside but the inside was lively and warm. Sugar herself knew that it would be difficult to get in but she was desperate for a place to stay so with all the strength and courage she had left she managed to sneak into the place and look around. It was quite the combination of modern and medieval architecture. She liked the area but she knew she couldn’t stay for long. Maybe one night wouldn’t hurt right? Well it kind of did since she ended up being tackled to the ground by a girl in a leather jacket.

“Sugar?!”

“Gah!” Sugar said as she was woken from her memories.

“Welcome back to earth kitty cat”

“Nice to see you finally arrived Night”

Sugar pushed her bangs into place as she took a look at her friend Night, who had finally decided to show up. Like Star, her hair was a shade of purple but it was much paler. The purple was closer to white if anything. Her skin was also purple but it was much darker. A magenta five pointed star was painted over her left eye. Her eyes were cyan and on her right eye, hidden behind her bangs was a small scar that ran under her eye. Her hair in the back barely brushed her shoulders and overall her hair was in a smooth looking emo-ish haircut. To make her look more goth she had on a black hoodie that matched her black jeans. Her top was a red t-shirt that had a black five pointed star on it. She had a black and red bow on top of her left ear. She had on black combat boots and on her back was a black and red backpack. Finally she had on a black and red five star necklace.

This necklace was not only a cool accessory but it was the symbol that made her a part of The Eternal Roses. That was the name for this three girls. Each met in unique circumstances and they all were close. Star usually lead them with Night being supposedly the second in command. Course with Night’s lack of responsibility, it was usually Sugar keeping an eye on her. Course Sugar herself would never admit to something like that. She liked to stay as unnoticeable as possible. Which in all honesty wasn’t very difficult. She was after all one of the least popular students around...well at least she seemed like it. While she didn’t really associate herself with others, she indeed had allies in the school’s elite. Mostly due to her being both a smart and creative mind, and her knack for hearing what others wish to keep secret. It makes her be easy leverage. But those weren’t the only qualities that kept them connected, while not knowing completely, on a subconscious level, they had a spiritual connection, and none of them really knew why, nor did they really wish to acknowledge it in fear of something happening.

“Anyways do you girls wish to start this year off already or are we just going to hang outside like idiots.”

“I’m all for standing outside and not going to such a boring place”

That got Star to give Night a deadpan look making Sugar giggle despite her shy attitude. It was always nice to see the girls act like this. After all they had a history that went beyond just a friendship. Ever since Star had come to Canterlot during her middle school days she had been somewhat distant and isolated from the other classmates she had. She spent her time hanging in classrooms and libraries. It wasn’t until she met rocker girl, Night that she started letting loose. Night was her first real friend in a long time and she showed Star a world of crazy nights and zesty sex. Because while it started with casual glances and small flirty suggestions, their relationship quickly grew. Much to Star’s parents annoyance she started dating the sexy rebel that brought out her wild side. Finally Star could have some fun and feel like she truly had someone to call her love.

“Come on. Let’s go” Star said as she started walking into the school with Night following her. Being quick on her feet, Sugar followed making sure she didn’t drop her binder.

Inside the brightly lit hallways of Canterlot High where students upon students buzzing with excitement. Some were sharing their schedules. Others were sharing their summer stories. Even so Sugar herself didn’t have anything to share. She herself really hadn’t done much. She spent most of her time hanging either with Night or working. After all a girl needs her money.

“Is it me or did the guys get hotter.”

“They definitely did.”

“I guess they kind of did.”

“Yea. Too bad most of them are taken.”

“Since when do you care about the guys in school”

“Just because I don’t look for someone to date doesn’t mean I’m not interested in the guys”

“Are you only interested in seeing what guy you can fuck?”

“Like you’re one to talk.”

This made Sugar sigh and roll her eyes. Out of all her friends she was the most reserved of them. She had only lost her virginity last summer a few weeks before the school year started. It was with some guy she had thought was kind of cute but she hadn’t really gotten a thing for him. Still due to his insistence and her wanting to figure things out she ended up turning herself to him. It wasn a bad experience per say but it was definitely something she wouldn’t rave about. Still she had given up her virginity to a decent guy so she was pretty ok with it. The only problem was that Night’s sex drive could beat the entire grade’s combine drive. And while she stayed mainly reserved Sugar knew that Star had a pretty big drive. It drove Sugar crazy when she remembered that Night pretty muched had sex every single night. Like seriously could the girl take a break for once. The only nights she didn’t fuck were the nights she had a gig or hung out with her band mates.

“Sugar? Are you alright?”

“Yea…” she responded as she shook her head “just got a lot on my mind”

“Worried for the year?”

“Kind of. You know I’m not the fondest of high school. I mean I love learning don’t get me wrong but actually coming to school is...I’m just not fond of well coming here.”

“Ok what’s really up Sugar. You’ve never been so worried about coming back to school and you were so excited to come back.”

“I know I just…” she sighs “I’m worried about...Moonriser.”

“Moonriser?!” said both Night and Star together.

Sugar nodded her head as she rubbed Night’s arm. All three of them knew Moonriser pretty well and they definitely weren’t fond of him. After all he loved to make their lives a living hell. Since Sugar could remember Moonriser had been one of the star football players at school and he loved to pick on the weak. It frustrated her on how easily he could manipulate people to do what he wanted. But don’t get her wrong Sugar herself knew first hand that Moonriser was indeed an idiot beyond reason. He would lash out over anything and he was as strong as a kitten. Even so he had harmed many people including Sugar’s best friend outside of the Eternal Roses.

“Speak of the devil. Looks like he’s looking for his trouble again.” Star said as she looked at her phone.

“Oh great. Where is he?”

“School field like usual.”

“Doing?”

“Hmmm according to Gossip Girl he seems to be looking at the girls that are getting an early start on cheer season.”

Sugar groaned. Of course he would be checking out the cheer squad. What would this mean when she started the season. She was after all one of the better cheerleaders. Mainly due to her somewhat small stature compared to the other girls and her natural grace. She had been working hard since she joined the squad back in freshman year. Well technically she was only used to come up with the routines but she ended up proving to be an asset to the team, much to the head cheerleader’s annoyance. Still she had always noticed that Moonriser loved to look at  the girls. Most likely longing to fuck one of them. Cause that’s really all Moonriser cared about when it came to relationships. That his girlfriend would boost his popularity and fill his ego, while at the same time doing everything he said. Sugar knew all too well what happened when someone defied his orders. She was definitely grateful that Star had gotten him to back off for now.

“Well would you look at that.”

“What’s up?”

“A new student just joined the school and he looks pretty hot.”

“Really. What’s a new student joining on the last year of high school.”

“Who knows. Maybe he got expelled from his last school and is stuck coming to this one.”

“Hmmm I don’t know. He looks like a good student. Course with that look who knows.”

“I say we just wait and see what happens with him. Maybe he is a nice guy.”

“If you say so girl.”

“Yea. Should we get to class now.”

“You sure I can’t skip it. I mean it’s the first day. It’s not like we do anything.”

“I have your dad on speed dial. Do you want me to call him.”

“Fine I’ll go to class.”

“Good. What about you Sugar?”

“I’ll catch up with you guys in a bit. I still need to go drop off some supplies at my locker since I don’t want to carry more than what I actually need.”

“Alright. Take care of yourself. Come on Night.”

“I’m coming. I’m coming.”

With that the girls split up. As Night and Star walked off Sugar headed to her locker. It was a simple green locker that was a bit taller than her. Then again she wasn’t quite that tall. She was only a simple 5’ 2” though currently she was a bit taller do to her shoes. Still she was pretty short which did make her an easy target for others.

“I swear I get shorter and shorter every year.” she said as she organized her items in her locker.

Not only five minutes later she realized the hallways had become empty with only a rattling noise being heard. “Oh no” she thought as she realized what this meant. Yep she was right to be worried. Just at the end of the hallway she could see the school’s star quarterback. Well maybe one should put that in quotes since he really wasn’t all that well of at football.  Either way it was the school’s most annoying and demented individual, Moonriser.

“The MR is in the house.” he said in the most generic douche voice out there. He had gray skin, blue hair, goldish eyes, and was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and a varsity jacket. Basically the most cliche jock outfit out there.

“Life why do you hate me? Like seriously, Can’t you save me from this idiot for once.”

“Well, well, well. If it isn’t the school’s egghead.”

“How creative Moonriser,” she said as she rolled her eyes and gave him a deadpan look. “You have any more creative insults. Or anything original. Oh wait I keep forgetting, you lack the intelligence to be more than a generic, uninteresting bully.”

“Excuse me.”

“Oh I’m sorry. Do I need to dumb it down for you. I’m saying you really are boring and generic and I’m done with this conversation.” She closed her locker, went around Moonriser and started to walk away. Not even five steps later she felt someone grab her arm tightly and pull. Moonriser had a face filled with anger and he didn’t let go off her arm.

“No one said you can leave.”

“I didn’t think I would need your permission, and quite frankly I have more important things to do then talk to you.”

“What could be more important that the MR.”

“Class, helping the Gem Twins with their next party, and oh yea anything is more important that you.”

“How the hell is an egghead like you associated with the Gem Twins.”

“Their brother, who honestly is a lot better than you.”

“Excuse me. That vanilla rich boy has nothing on the MR.”

“Then explain why he’s one of the most popular guy’s in school, our star quarterback and more followers than you. Honestly Moonriser you really need a wake up call.” And with that she got out of his grasp and started walking away, but again Moonriser got a grasp of her arm and held her in place with a tighter grip.

“Let go off me you psycho!”

And with that one line Moonriser’s eyes filled with fire and he growled.

“What did you call me”

“I called you a psycho! Let me go!.”

He growled and reeled his hand back as he prepared to slap her. On instinct Sugar pulled back and closed her eyes as she tried to cover her face with her arms. But the slap never came. In fact all she heard was Moonriser groan and a punch sound. Whimpering Sugar felt someone walk up to her and lightly touch her shoulder. She squeaked and pulled back as she whimper. That’s when she felt someone hold her and she relaxed. Opening her eyes she noticed Moonriser was running away and a guy she hadn’t seen before was holding her and stroking her hair.  As she looked she noticed the guy smile at her and her heart skipped a beat.
