What Happend
In a far away time, there’s was a little quiet town on the edge of a forest. A lot of ponies lived there, had jobs, even some of them knew magic. And in school, they were taught about the Sun and the Moon, and the sisters that control it.
But in two days, everyone in that towns world, will be flipped upside down. At the town's elementary school, something happened.
That changed everything.
“Noah!”, shouted a little dark gray unicorn filly with blackish silver hair ran up to another gray unicorn filly. The filly he was running to had solid black hair, and was on the ground, soaking wet. In the background, there was fillies howling with laughter.
The gray filly tried to stand up, still cold from the water prank. “Astral, what are youu...uu doi...ing her..e”, Noah tried to speak, but was still shivering cold from the water.
“I was getting a library book, and saw you over here, are you okay?!”, Astral got a towel from with his magic from backpack.
“You have a towel in your backpack?”, Noah asked curiously.
“Gotta be prepared”, Astral replied with a grin.
Astral started to help him up while Noah was drying himself. “C’mon, let's get you home”, Astral said while they started walking.
“Aw, going already?”, said one of the fillies in a mean voice. Noah gave them a icy glare as they started laughing again.
“This is third time this month!”, Astral shouted while walking home, “We need to tell someone!”.
“I can handle this myself. Astral, thanks, I can get back at them”, Noah said in his matter-of-factly voice.
“Dude, this has got to stop! I won’t my best friend get bullied everyday, month, or year for that matter”, Astral protested.
He put his hoof around his best friend's shoulder, ”Please, tell the teacher or anybody!”, he begged.
Noah sighed and then smiled, “Fine you win, I can’t argue when you beg”.
When they got to Noah’s house, Astral waved goodbye, and Noah waved back. He went into his house, and straight to his room.
So, Noah thought, how should I get back at them? He got out his notebook and pencil with his magic and started writing any ideas that popped up in his head.
He soon had four pages down already! “Hmm, I think I like plan 15, but I’m gonna need some ingredients”, Noah said.
“Mother!!!!!!”, Noah shouted , “I need to go to the magic shop!”.
His mother popped into the room, “Alright, be home before dinner, don’t be out to long and come straight back”, his mother said in calm voice.
Noah went to the bathroom and thought to himself.
I actually need to go in the woods to get my ingredients, but people say strange things happen there at night, maybe I should ask Astral to help me, or-.He stopped thinking when he heard a cackly voice, “Hissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss”.
“H-Hello?”, Noah looked around in wonder, what was hissing, what was watching him. It’s probably just my imagination, he thought to himself.
He went out of the bathroom and straight outside and started to walk to the woods. But time and time again, he look behind himself, thinking someone was there.
The Chaos
Noah had been missing for two days, and the bullies that bullied him for one. People had been making up rumors, but he didn’t believe any one of them. Yet, Astral had wondered, searched, and theorized, what happened to his best friend?
And what happened to the bullies, he thought as he was trotting down the side of town. Just then, he heard a scream, a rippling sound that started it, the chaos. Before he could see or depict anything, he was trampled by a bunch running stallions. Soon after he looked up and saw the horror, burning buildings, dead, bloody bodies, more screaming, he just couldn't comprehend it.
He ran, as fast as he could to the his safe zone, his heaven, to only see his house burning too. With his family nowhere to be found, or seen. Tears were running down his face, this wall happening too fast for him, running was his only action, his only thought. While running, he tripped over a dead body, and once he got up, he a tall unicorn stallion. As tall a Luna or Celestia, with a devilish grin on his face as he watched it all.
He looked like the adult version of Noah. Soon the stallion looked back at him, with a confused look. Astral ran away as soon as he looked, far as his legs could take him. Soon he found a nearby cave to rest by. He kept hearing the death and destruction and wish it would all stop. He tried to shut his ears until he couldn't take anymore, and passed out cold, on the cave floor.
For two days he had slept. Thinking and dreaming. Wondering. He had a dream, where the tall unicorn was coming to the cave, with a dark mist with red eyes following him. They gut so close and yet they were so far. And then, he thought he saw the stallion say his name. But by then he woke up.
After that, the third and fourth day he, sorrowfully, went to the burnt town and got any good food that was left. He knew just to get food for that one day. If he got anymore, he might of ate it and then, poof, there goes his food supply.
The fifth day, he was going to go on the daily food run, when something came out of the sky. He first thought he was hallucinating. But, there was something coming. He remembered learning about it in school. The Royal Carriage, he thought to himself as it glistened in the sky and soon flew down. He saw the unbelievable, the Princesses, Luna and Celestia, come out the carriage. Then he noticed a little filly on Celestia’s back. He was gray skinned, like Astral, but his mane color was half black, half white. He looked shy and lonely.
“It’s worse than I thought’, Celestia said while looking over the burnt town.
“Who could do this” Luna asked.
“Someone with power no one could trust”, Celestia replied.
Astral wanted so badly to go out and speak to them, and so he lifted his body up and began to walk. He looked at himself, he was covered in dust and dirt.
“Please…help”, Astral whispered.
Celestia and Luna looked shocked. They frantically got him medication, asked a bunch of questions. Astral entered all of them with pain, strife, love, and forgiveness. They last question hit hard though.
“Are there more of you? Where are you parents?”, Celestia, asked in pure curiosity.
“Um, sniff, I think I’m the only one left”, Astral head drooped just thinking about The Chaos.
.
Celestia secretly felt bad about asking the question. Luna saw this and said, “You know, you need a place to stay, and sense something with you. That cave won’t be good forever. Why you don’t stay with us?”.
The little gray filly sitting next to Celestia started to smile. Astral thought about it. “That would be a good idea”, he said with a smile.
As they all got onto the carriage, Astral pondered, then asked the filly next to him. “Excuse me what’s your name?”.
The filly thought for a moment and then said with a smile, “Sunny, Sunny Celestia”.
