This power threw the powers out of balance, causing the murders of the king and queen. In the wake of the new Magic Bending power, a war started to brew. Ponies from the east, north, south, and west came to hate the Elementals and what they stood for. Soon enough the Elementals returned the hatred, taking over the kingdom and causing the birth of utter chaos. New species were formed, lives destroyed, and a certain tree started growing. The Harmony Tree was created my the pony gods and goddesses to help counter act the power of the Elementals. It was then that Celestia and Luna took their places on the throne and used the Elements of Harmony to defeat discord, the lord of chaos. Then after defeating the lord, Celestia and Luna went on to defeat the Elementals. The Elementals laughed at the two Alicorns, for they believed that they were all powerful and un-defeatable. They were smug and they probably could have defeated Celestia and Luna is they had had Harmony in their hearts. But unluckily they were to egotistical and uptight to know that the Elements of Harmony only worked on those who didn't have Harmony within them. One thing was for sure, the Elementals had absolutely no Harmony in their hearts whatsoever. "And that is how the Elements of Harmony came to be and why they are still used today to defend Equestria from the forces of disharmony", the light purple filly finished reading. Today was the day that Trixie would be performing her apology tour and I was going along with her to all her performances around equestria. I was surprised when she had come to my doorstep that one evening asking for help and forgiveness. I had asked her what I needed to forgive her for and then she reminded me what she had done to me all those years ago. It had been my 10th birthday and I was hoping for a puppy and she had turned the cute little puppy into a kitten. I'm allergic to cats and she had known it. I spent a week in the hospital because of her. But anyways that had probably been the most eventful day of my life. All I did nowadays was sit around reading books on magic. I had never tried any of the spells I memorized but all the same I kept on studying. I hardly ever used the horn upon my head. I was basically an earth pony with a unicorn's look. The last time I had tried to use my horn, the backside of my house had been blown to bits. "It's no big deal, I mean come on their just about ready to go anyhow. Right ?", I asked. The males on either side of me turned their heads in my direction. "Nope", they said together, making my world crash down around me. Oh come on!!! "Hey Trix ?", I asked. "Yes?", she replied. "I'm gonna go and find someplace to eat, I'm starving", I said, my stomach rumbling loudly. I walked down the path of shops and I came across a pair of unicorn stallions dressed in golden armor and helmets. I wonder why members of the royal guard were here ? Hmm...they weren't going to be easy to get passed. Time to use the feminine charms. I walked up a fruit stand about twenty yards from the shop. I purchased the largest amount of fruit available. Carrying it heftily towards the direction of the restaurant I craned my back and slowly trudged forwards. As I got closer and closer to the shop the guards paid notice to me. Good, I thought, it was time for the plan to be put into action. I walked on now within six feet of the guards. I was about three feet from the guards when I tripped on a stone purposefully. The fruit which had been packed into my bags sprawled out across the ground and my face was at the guards' feet. I looked up slightly, blushing somewhat from the embarrassment and frantically sat up, trying to find all the fruit that had been lost from the fall. The guards however paid no notice to me. Crap. These guys were good, too good. That's when I heard it though. A little girls shriek. I looked over across the street and there pushed up against a tree was a filly, with three or four stallions surrounding her. I was somewhat angered by this sight.I looked back to the guards and saw that they hadn't seemed to notice the little girl's scream. With no one else rushing to the poor filly's rescue I was the one who stood up. I hadn't considered the consequences for my actions later on but I was going save the filly no matter what. I ran forwards and stopped, breathing heavily while the stallions stared at me. "Seriously!!! Have we got ourselves a heroine men ?", whom I assumed the ring leader was. "Yes you do", I said, "Now let the filly go!!". The stallions just laugh at me and their horns started to glow. Inside I knew what magic they were about to use against me, war magic, the destructive kind. I was to slow to react though. I was thrown back by an energy blast as the leader kicked me in the side. I was going to have to resort to it. But I couldn't, it would destroy half the block if I did. But I had no choice if I was going to survive this. I sought inside for the well of magic I had kept closed for quite some time and I felt the familiar warmth around my horn as I began to use my magic for the first time in five years. I simply transported myself to the filly, grabbed her and then was thrown to the side as to of the stallions beamed energy strikes against me. I was starting to get angry, I was going to have to resort to using my attack magic, the magic that was particularly destructive. I let the warmth build up around me as in my head I saw the words from the book flat through my mind. i pulled the energy around my horn and the energy beam burst out, fanning over the entire crowd, destroying every non-living thing in it's path. I knew I was going to be arrested, I mean the guards we still over there right ? That's when a shadow blocked out the sunlight and I was struck by a white coat of fur and a rainbow colored, flowing mane that reached the ground. It was the one and only, Princess Celestia. I'm the Reincarnation of an Enemy?!?!As Celestia landed in front of me I almost wanted to cower down at the sight of her. I mean she was the princess, who wouldn't cower when they had done something wrong. I looked up from doubtful gaze and there she stood, the princess of the sun, Celestia. I was standing here ashamed of what I had done and now I was about to be chastised for it like a fill by the princess of the sun herself. I was blushing furiously with embarrassment and shame. As I looked up at the princess though, she did not look mad whatsoever. In fact, she looked like she was going to burst from curiosity. Huh ?!?! This didn't make sense, I had just destroyed almost an entire city block of Canterlot and I wasn't being punished ?!?! "Dear girl, what have you got there on your coat ?", Celestia asked. I noticed she was referring to the blue striped that ran down my legs and hooves, across the length of my back, and around my horn. "My marks ?", I asked, "I was born with them your majesty". I bowed down with perseverance, I was not going to let this window of freedom go to waste. "Oh I see", she replied, "you are to accompany back to the castle. There is something I wish to speak to you about, Mystic Spirit". I was shocked to say in the least, how in Luna's moon did she know my name ? The ride to the Castle was awkward to say in the least. Everytime I tried to move, I would nudge up against Celestia's wing and I would snap back into the corner of the carriage. I was going to need time to get used to the fact that I was traveling with the princess to the royal castle. As we approached the castle though I was getting antsy, for I was itching to use my magic again. I felt the warmth bubble up and swirl around my horn. I was going to teleport. I felt the magic around my horn glow bright as I performed the spell. Teleportation was something I had never even read about, and yet I was already ready to try it. I teleported. I reappeared in the castle courtyard only to teleport into a random hallway in the castle, to the Crystal Empire, and then back to the courtyard. I was going to have to learn to control my overbearing magic. Just as I was about to try and teleport again I heard the whinny of the stallion pegasi pulling Celestia's carriage. One she had landed she used her magic to summon a quill and parchment. She wrote something down and then sent it somewhere. Hmm, I wonder where she sent it too. Oh well, it was probably some big important pony in equestria. I looked over at Celestia, who was now all of a sudden standing with Luna. Sheesh, was I going to meet all four of the princesses today ? "Mystic Spirit, we have to talk", Luna said, walking over to where I was standing. Meanwhile I was trying to brush the dirt off my marks. I then heard a poof and a certain purple alicorn appeared out of nowhere. It was Twilight Sparkle, the princess of friendship. Great I should have known that's who she sent the letter to. I mean come on, Twilight Sparkle represents the element of magic. MAGIC!!! I totally should have seen this coming. "Princess!!! Is it true!!! Where is she!!! I want to meet her!!! Where, where, where!!!", Twilight gushed. Gosh, for a princess she certainly was excited. "Umm, are you talking about me your majesties?", I asked, bowing low to the ground, trying to at least be somewhat formal. I looked up to see Twilight Sparkle, a princess, gawking at me with her wide purple eyes. What was she staring at me for ? I mean I was just a normal everyday unicorn. Well, not exactly, I mean I did have the strange marks on my coat and over powerful magic surges. Other than that though I was just your average unicorn, trying to life a normal life in the kingdom of Equestria. Yet still, ten feet away from me there was an alicorn princess staring at me with the most energetic and curious eyes I had ever seen. "Come Mystic, let us go and talk in the study", Celestia said, motioning with her hoof to follow. I obliged, curious to see where this would lead to. And sure enough I regretted coming. I was now, strapped up in every cable known to pony kind, with Twilight monitoring my every single movement and heartbeat. I was surprised she didn't have something shoved down my throat to monitor my breathing. Meanwhile, Celestia and Luna are just sitting back, trying to not let their amusement show as the caught the sight or me, strapped up in harnesses and cables. I was nearly incapacitated, i couldn't even move my hooves, for they were strapped in tight into cuffs. I was immobilized. I had a magic restrictor on my horn and I had a regulator hooked up to that, so I wasn't using my magic anytime soon. Finally, after for what seemed like hours, the regulator was taken off and I blasted off the harnesses and cuffs, freeing myself from the torture machine that Twilight used for "Science". "Now Princess, may I talk with you ?", Twilight asked, leading Celestia in the direction of the door. I was now left alone with Luna, who was eyeing me curiously. "Do you not know why we have brought you here ?", she asked, bringing me out of my thought bubble and bad into reality. "I'm sorry to say this, but no your majesty I do not", I said doubtfully. It was true, I absolutely no idea why they had brought me to the royal study, tortured me for science, and then left the room to talk with one another. "Because you are the spitting image of an old nemesis that once threatened Equestria", Luna said, "but it also happens to be that that nemesis was also once the protector of this kingdom, along with six other ponies". "The Elementals". I'm gonna be the what ?!?!I had to hand it to Luna, she was one heck of a story teller. I mean, come on, there was no way that I of all people could be the reincarnation of a powerful enemy. I scoffed at the idea and laughed. "You have to be joking your majesty", I replied, "There is no way that I could be an enemy to equestria. I just don't have the right personality for the job". She looked at me and then set a serious look on her face. "I'm afraid I am not, because you see, the marks on your coat prove it", she pointed to the blue lines running up and down my body. I looked at her with such dumbness that I was almost ready to believe her. I stuck my ground though. I couldn't be the next leader of the Elementals, I just couldn't. Could I? "Alright !! Mystic Spirit, Celestia and I have talked and it has been decided", I heard a voice say from behind me. I turned to look who it was and it turned out to be princess Twilight. "It has been decided that you will stay in the castle as my temporary protege until you learn to control the 'little' outbursts of your magic", she said. I looked at her like she was crazy. She didn't honestly expect me to stay in a ginormous castle like this, did she ? "With all do respect your majesty, but I do not think I am suited nor capable to stay in the royal castle", I say politely and then bow to show my respect. Considering I grew up in a bookstore and now run one, I didn't think I was going to be able to handle it. The princesses looked at me and then Twilight smiled. "Don't worry I felt the same way when I got my own castle", she said, "The halls feel to large and empty for one pony alone". I nodded in agreement and then sighed. "Very well, I accept your invitation your majesties", I bowed to them and then they bowed back, surprising me. I looked at them with confusion before Celestia explained. "Mystic Spirit, reincarnation of Lunar Spell, the leader of the first elementals, while you are here you are to be treated as a royal. As such, you will be the newest princess of equestria when you have completed your training with Princess Twilight", she proclaimed. I gawked at the princesses, how could they think that I was princess material ? I was just a unicorn and nevertheless that fact that I was the reincarnation of an ancient equestrian enemy, let alone the fact that it was the leader. "I-I'm gonna be the newest what ?", I stuttered. "The newest princess", Luna repeated, "the sixth alicorn princess of equestria". I fainted. My eyes fluttered open and I was staring in the face of a purple and green dragon. "Aaaah!!!", I screamed, "help!!! There's a dragon in the castle!!!!". The little dragon's eyes widened and he yelped. "Hey!! Hey!! Not so loud!!", he said, "It's okay!!! I'm Twilight's assistant!!!". My eyes narrowed and then widened with recognition, how could I have not seen it ? "I'm so sorry!!! I never meant any disrespect", I apologized, bowing on the ground. The dragon backed up and then scratched behind his ears. "It's okay!! It's not like you would automatically know who I was", he said, blushing. "and besides, I'm only an assistant".I smiled and then stood up out of the bed, causing the sheets to wrap around my hooves and me to fall, muzzle straight onto the floor. "Ouch", I said, rubbing my face. "That hurt". I heard a giggle and then turned to see spike who immediately covered his mouth and then blushed. "Oh you're gonna pay for that, you little squirt", I said. My eyes narrowed and my mouth squished up to make a playful frown. Spikes eye widened and I was in the zone. I giggled and spike ran behind the bed and dived underneath. Heh heh, there was nowhere for him to go now!! I had him trapped and there was no escaping my hooves of steel. I trotted silently from my side to the other side of the bed, slowly bending down and staring spike the dragon straight in the eyes. Those green slitted eyes widened with playful fear and I laughed. Maybe living here wouldn't be so bad!! I grabbed spike and he squirmed in my arms, causing us to fall on the bed and into a position that allowed me free access. i squinted my eyes and smiled, her comes the tickling!! Be prepared dragon!!! I brought my hands down and spike immediately laughed. I was tickling him everywhere. On the sides, underneath his calves, his neck, the underside of his arms, behind his knees, and on his little feet and toes. He was literally the most ticklish person I had ever seen or met. I was about to tickle his sides again when none other then Twilight Sparkle walked into the bedroom. I was embarrassed. Here I was, straddling her assistant while tickling the daylights out of him and i was supposed to be acting and speaking like a royal, nevertheless I supposed to being treated like one. Twilight's face lit up and she covered her eyes. I blushed furiously and I immediately got my butt of of spike and rushed to the door, acting like what she had seen never even occurred. "Umm, Princess ? Are we going to lessons now ?", I asked, trying to sound as normal as possible. She looked up from behind her hoof and then turned around to face me, her cheeks still red from seeing our little excursion. "U-um yes, of course Mystic!!!". Well this was going to be a long six months!!!! Three months had passed and I had learned to control my magic very well, except for the occasional outburst that always sent me back a lesson. Spike and I were getting along great and he was my closest friend besides Twilight and the other princesses. Not to mention they were the only ones allowed to speak to me in that manner, looking back at Celestia's unnecessary order that no one was to speak to me in a personal manner other then the princesses and Spike. I was going to speak to Celestia about that but Twilight kept me so busy with the studies that I had never had the chance to ask her to lift it. I hoped the next three months didn't go as badly. Another three months passed and I was completely finished with training. No more outbursts, no more uncontrollable magic, and specifically, I could go home and see my family and friends. I was surprised that Celestia had said that I could go home. When she said that I had looked at her like she was crazy, was she really letting me see my family and friends ? I couldn't believe no matter how many times I tried, there was just no possible way that I was going home. Even when Twilight, Spike, and I got onto the carriage and the pegasai guard members took off, I was really going to see my family ? I smiled triumphantly, I was going home!!! "Mystic ?" I turned to Twilight. "Yes princess ?" She laughed and smiled. "There is no reason for you to be so formal. Remember, your coronation is in three weeks", she said, "I was just wondering if you were alright. You seem a little.....jumpy". She finished the sentence with a little hesitance. I wondered why she was so nervous, was I not prepared for this completely ? Or did she forget to teach me something ? "No I'm alright. Thank you for asking though prince-er I mean Twilight!!", I said, taking in account what she had said before. She looked relieved. "Oh ok, I was just worried about you", she said, "I happen to know very well that when your upset, your magic runs wild". I giggled. "And we definitely don't want that happening", I commented, making Twilight relax some more. "Alright!!! Let's go see your family!!!!", she said excitedly. Well, this was going to be interesting!!!

I looked up to see Twilight Sparkle, a princess, gawking at me with her wide purple eyes. What was she staring at me for ? I mean I was just a normal everyday unicorn. Well, not exactly, I mean I did have the strange marks on my coat and over powerful magic surges. Other than that though I was just your average unicorn, trying to life a normal life in the kingdom of Equestria. Yet still, ten feet away from me there was an alicorn princess staring at me with the most energetic and curious eyes I had ever seen. "Come Mystic, let us go and talk in the study", Celestia said, motioning with her hoof to follow. I obliged, curious to see where this would lead to. And sure enough I regretted coming. I was now, strapped up in every cable known to pony kind, with Twilight monitoring my every single movement and heartbeat. I was surprised she didn't have something shoved down my throat to monitor my breathing. Meanwhile, Celestia and Luna are just sitting back, trying to not let their amusement show as the caught the sight or me, strapped up in harnesses and cables. I was nearly incapacitated, i couldn't even move my hooves, for they were strapped in tight into cuffs. I was immobilized. I had a magic restrictor on my horn and I had a regulator hooked up to that, so I wasn't using my magic anytime soon. Finally, after for what seemed like hours, the regulator was taken off and I blasted off the harnesses and cuffs, freeing myself from the torture machine that Twilight used for "Science". "Now Princess, may I talk with you ?", Twilight asked, leading Celestia in the direction of the door. I was now left alone with Luna, who was eyeing me curiously. "Do you not know why we have brought you here ?", she asked, bringing me out of my thought bubble and bad into reality. "I'm sorry to say this, but no your majesty I do not", I said doubtfully. It was true, I absolutely no idea why they had brought me to the royal study, tortured me for science, and then left the room to talk with one another. "Because you are the spitting image of an old nemesis that once threatened Equestria", Luna said, "but it also happens to be that that nemesis was also once the protector of this kingdom, along with six other ponies". "The Elementals".
I'm gonna be the what ?!?!I had to hand it to Luna, she was one heck of a story teller. I mean, come on, there was no way that I of all people could be the reincarnation of a powerful enemy. I scoffed at the idea and laughed. "You have to be joking your majesty", I replied, "There is no way that I could be an enemy to equestria. I just don't have the right personality for the job". She looked at me and then set a serious look on her face. "I'm afraid I am not, because you see, the marks on your coat prove it", she pointed to the blue lines running up and down my body. I looked at her with such dumbness that I was almost ready to believe her. I stuck my ground though. I couldn't be the next leader of the Elementals, I just couldn't. Could I? "Alright !! Mystic Spirit, Celestia and I have talked and it has been decided", I heard a voice say from behind me. I turned to look who it was and it turned out to be princess Twilight. "It has been decided that you will stay in the castle as my temporary protege until you learn to control the 'little' outbursts of your magic", she said. I looked at her like she was crazy. She didn't honestly expect me to stay in a ginormous castle like this, did she ? "With all do respect your majesty, but I do not think I am suited nor capable to stay in the royal castle", I say politely and then bow to show my respect. Considering I grew up in a bookstore and now run one, I didn't think I was going to be able to handle it. The princesses looked at me and then Twilight smiled. "Don't worry I felt the same way when I got my own castle", she said, "The halls feel to large and empty for one pony alone". I nodded in agreement and then sighed. "Very well, I accept your invitation your majesties", I bowed to them and then they bowed back, surprising me. I looked at them with confusion before Celestia explained. "Mystic Spirit, reincarnation of Lunar Spell, the leader of the first elementals, while you are here you are to be treated as a royal. As such, you will be the newest princess of equestria when you have completed your training with Princess Twilight", she proclaimed. I gawked at the princesses, how could they think that I was princess material ? I was just a unicorn and nevertheless that fact that I was the reincarnation of an ancient equestrian enemy, let alone the fact that it was the leader. "I-I'm gonna be the newest what ?", I stuttered. "The newest princess", Luna repeated, "the sixth alicorn princess of equestria". I fainted. My eyes fluttered open and I was staring in the face of a purple and green dragon. "Aaaah!!!", I screamed, "help!!! There's a dragon in the castle!!!!". The little dragon's eyes widened and he yelped. "Hey!! Hey!! Not so loud!!", he said, "It's okay!!! I'm Twilight's assistant!!!". My eyes narrowed and then widened with recognition, how could I have not seen it ? "I'm so sorry!!! I never meant any disrespect", I apologized, bowing on the ground. The dragon backed up and then scratched behind his ears. "It's okay!! It's not like you would automatically know who I was", he said, blushing. "and besides, I'm only an assistant".I smiled and then stood up out of the bed, causing the sheets to wrap around my hooves and me to fall, muzzle straight onto the floor. "Ouch", I said, rubbing my face. "That hurt". I heard a giggle and then turned to see spike who immediately covered his mouth and then blushed. "Oh you're gonna pay for that, you little squirt", I said. My eyes narrowed and my mouth squished up to make a playful frown. Spikes eye widened and I was in the zone. I giggled and spike ran behind the bed and dived underneath. Heh heh, there was nowhere for him to go now!! I had him trapped and there was no escaping my hooves of steel. I trotted silently from my side to the other side of the bed, slowly bending down and staring spike the dragon straight in the eyes. Those green slitted eyes widened with playful fear and I laughed. Maybe living here wouldn't be so bad!! I grabbed spike and he squirmed in my arms, causing us to fall on the bed and into a position that allowed me free access. i squinted my eyes and smiled, her comes the tickling!! Be prepared dragon!!! I brought my hands down and spike immediately laughed. I was tickling him everywhere. On the sides, underneath his calves, his neck, the underside of his arms, behind his knees, and on his little feet and toes. He was literally the most ticklish person I had ever seen or met. I was about to tickle his sides again when none other then Twilight Sparkle walked into the bedroom. I was embarrassed. Here I was, straddling her assistant while tickling the daylights out of him and i was supposed to be acting and speaking like a royal, nevertheless I supposed to being treated like one. Twilight's face lit up and she covered her eyes. I blushed furiously and I immediately got my butt of of spike and rushed to the door, acting like what she had seen never even occurred. "Umm, Princess ? Are we going to lessons now ?", I asked, trying to sound as normal as possible. She looked up from behind her hoof and then turned around to face me, her cheeks still red from seeing our little excursion. "U-um yes, of course Mystic!!!". Well this was going to be a long six months!!!! Three months had passed and I had learned to control my magic very well, except for the occasional outburst that always sent me back a lesson. Spike and I were getting along great and he was my closest friend besides Twilight and the other princesses. Not to mention they were the only ones allowed to speak to me in that manner, looking back at Celestia's unnecessary order that no one was to speak to me in a personal manner other then the princesses and Spike. I was going to speak to Celestia about that but Twilight kept me so busy with the studies that I had never had the chance to ask her to lift it. I hoped the next three months didn't go as badly. Another three months passed and I was completely finished with training. No more outbursts, no more uncontrollable magic, and specifically, I could go home and see my family and friends. I was surprised that Celestia had said that I could go home. When she said that I had looked at her like she was crazy, was she really letting me see my family and friends ? I couldn't believe no matter how many times I tried, there was just no possible way that I was going home. Even when Twilight, Spike, and I got onto the carriage and the pegasai guard members took off, I was really going to see my family ? I smiled triumphantly, I was going home!!! "Mystic ?" I turned to Twilight. "Yes princess ?" She laughed and smiled. "There is no reason for you to be so formal. Remember, your coronation is in three weeks", she said, "I was just wondering if you were alright. You seem a little.....jumpy". She finished the sentence with a little hesitance. I wondered why she was so nervous, was I not prepared for this completely ? Or did she forget to teach me something ? "No I'm alright. Thank you for asking though prince-er I mean Twilight!!", I said, taking in account what she had said before. She looked relieved. "Oh ok, I was just worried about you", she said, "I happen to know very well that when your upset, your magic runs wild". I giggled. "And we definitely don't want that happening", I commented, making Twilight relax some more. "Alright!!! Let's go see your family!!!!", she said excitedly. Well, this was going to be interesting!!!
