(This will take place shortly after Luna has been purged of Nightmare Moon) A Space Marine floated in a cell, awaiting his fate at the hands of the Tau. Without his weapons of course. The name of the Space Marine was Luke Aerates. He is a Tactical Marine from the Blood Ravens Chapter. His cell was a large orange orb with an energy shield at the front for easy observation, and zero gravity to prevent any unnaturally strong creatures from escaping. Opposite his own cell an Adeptus Mechanicus or Techmarine was using his servo arm to carve intricate patterns in the walls to keep himself busy. The Techmarine looked just like Martellus from Dawn of war 2. Tau Fire warrior guards from all ends of the prison visited at least once to see the drawings. Luke was disgusted just like an Astartes would be. But today was different. Every day an elder Tau would come and speak with the Mechanicus. Today he never came. Luke gave credit of this event to the explosions occurring above him. Luke suddenly was dropped to the ground in his cell. His superhuman hearing heard dozens of other prisoners hit the ground as well. The shields on the cells drop and the other prisoners begin running for the exit. Luke sees Orks, Eldar, Tau guards, and even a few Chaos Space Marines rushing to a weapons rack. They stood in a long rectangular room with four exits/entrances; one was a lift that went to the Tau command bunker, from what Luke could hear from that hallway. By the time Luke had finished analyzing the room, which took all of 5 seconds, all of the prisoners had some form of weapons. The weapons varied to bolters, chainsword variants, Tau weapons, and shuriken rifles. A standoff soon ensued. All occupants in the standoff failed to notice the prison’s most dangerous occupant, a Hive Fleet Leviathan Hive Tyrant. They failed to notice it until it skewered a Chaos Marine, then all hell broke loose. Various war cries, ranging from ‘WAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!’ to ‘BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!’ loosed from the mouths of various species. Then bullets, shuriken blasts, plasma blasts, and body parts began to fly as everyone in the room aside from Luke and the Techmarine began to shoot, stab, and beat each other to death. When several shuriken blasts from an Eldar Guardian nearly hit them, Luke and the Techmarine grabbed some Space marine bolters, Luke managing to grab 2 for himself, that some other prisoners dropped and took cover. The Hive Tyrant noticed this from the far end of the room and began to kill its way towards them. Luke and the Techmarine began to prepare their weapons to fight the Hive tyrant. But just as it was about to be standing over them, it stopped. Mystified, Luke looked up at it. It was looked into a dark hallway where the superhuman prisoners came from. Intrigued, Luke used his superhuman hearing to listen to sounds in the hallway. He heard heavy metallic footsteps. ‘Necrons!? The Tau built their prison on a Necron Tomb world?!’ He thought ‘Ah. So you can hear them too. This is the Hive tyrant that your friend seems intent on staring at.’ The Hive tyrant thought. Luke looked back at the Hive Tyrant, who was still staring down the hallway and then looked at the Techmarine who was taking in every aspect of the destructive war machine gone flesh and blood before him. He looked back at the Hive Tyrant. ‘Why haven’t you slaughtered us?’ He thought to it. ‘I need your help and you need mine. Unless you already know the way out?’ The Hive Tyrant thought back. Luke then realized that he hadn’t thought that far ahead, being distracted by the carnage behind him. ‘Let me get to the point. I know of the location of a Tau portal that a brood of hormoguants gave me before they were killed to test it, and you need to get there. I need a place where I can call home, assemble a hive fleet to defend it and live out the rest of my near immortal life. We both gain from this. Do we have a deal?’ It asked. Luke gave this a few seconds to mull over, made his decision and looked to his brother. “Brother, the Hive tyrant wants to escape with us. Is this acceptable to you?” Luke asked “This is an illogical and dangerous way to ensure our escape. But I heard the conversation from the Hive Tyrants side and accept his conditions.” The Techmarine replied. ‘Alright, let’s move before the Necrons arrive and the real slaughter begins.’ The Hive Tyrant said and turned to fight through the slaughter again. This time though he fought with 2 Space Marines. They quickly fought out of the room and took the left hallway. They continued onward, annihilating any Tau guard patrols trying to stop the Necron advance and the riot. After a while of many twist and turns, they found the portal. It was a Web Way Gate. “Techmarine, what is your name?” Luke asked “Sergeant Lindros, 3rd company.” Lindros replied. “Please get the portal running.” Luke asked “Yes, battle brother.” Lindros said, and got to turning on the portal. Meanwhile… The 4 Chaos gods looked on at the Chaos at the Tau prison. These Gods are: Khorne, God of bloodlust, war, death, blood, and skulls; Tzeentch: God of change, fate, mutation, hope, and knowledge; Nurgle: God of plague, despair, disease and death; Slaanesh: God of lust, pleasure, desire, and excess. As they watched, Tzeentch noted how every action was working for him while Khorne was merely basking in the bloodbath. “Exactly as planned.” Tzeentch said, closing his hands around each other and bringing his index finger to his chin in thought. Everything was going to plan, at least until someone unexpected arrived. “Hello everyone!” A voice said behind them. They all turned and saw… “Discord!!!” They shouted in surprise. Any Chaos psykers within 5 sectors distance all collapsed in pain, blood pouring from their ears from the sound. “It’s good to be back everyone! Nurgle how you doing? Good? Great! Slaanesh looking sexy as usual-“Discord was cut off. “HOW DARE YOU RETURN HERE AFTER YOUR BANISHMENT!!!?” Khorne hollered. “I am not here; I am still imprisoned at princess sunbutts palace. But I still have power.” He said and extended a hand to the scene being observed. Meanwhile, back at the portal... “What in the Omnissiah’s name?!?” Lindros suddenly shouted. “What is happening Lindros?” Luke asked running up behind him. Luke looks at the screen and sees many fish made out of 2s, cotton candy raining chocolate rain, and many other random things including Nyan cats. “What in the Emperor’s name?” Luke asked. The Hive Tyrant made its way over to the screen and looked into it, getting a similar reaction. ‘What is this?’ It thought to them. “We have no idea…” Luke responded. “Wait! It’s doing something!” Lindros exclaimed. Watching the gate control panel, it selected 10 beings, an Ork, 3 Tau Fire Warrior, a Necron warrior, an Eldar Warp Spider, A Chaos Marine, and them. “What in Guillemin’s name is it doing?” Luke asked himself. Suddenly an energy tentacle ripped out of the Web Way Gate and latched onto the Hive Tyrant. The Hive Tyrant roared as the energy tentacle wrapped itself around him. It lifted him off the ground and yanked him into the portal, disappearing with the Hive Tyrant. “WHAT IN GUILLEMIN’S WAS THAT?!” Luke exclaimed. Just as suddenly as it grabbed the Hive Tyrant, it reappeared and grabbed Lindros, yanking him into the portal. It released 8 more tentacles, 7 disappearing down the hallway and the final attacking him. Luke leaped right and dodged the tentacle by a hairs breadth. But just as he did he saw the other 7 tentacles come back into the room with their prizes, an Ork Shoota Nob, an Eldar Warp spider that the tentacle was having trouble containing due to constant warp teleporting, a Chaos Space Marine, 3 Tau Fire warriors, a Necron foot soldier. A squad of Shoota Boyz came running in, guns shooting the tentacle and everything in the vicinity of it in an effort to free their squad leader. Luke gets grabbed by the tentacle causing him to drop his bolter and chainsword. He quickly grabbed them before getting lifted into the air and yanked into the portal. Luke’s vision went black as he heard the other tentacles and their hostages withdraw into the portal, with the Shoota boys chasing after them. Elsewhere... Twilight Sparkle was out star gazing on her balcony again. Spike sitting down nearby only getting up to feed himself gems and get her supplies. The night sky was changed quite a bit by Princess Luna according to Twilight. Spike just saw it as just another night to sleep through to get ready for the following day. At least, until a purple portal in the sky opened up. “Twilight? What is that?” Spike said pointing. She swiveled her telescope to bring the portal into view. “Spike, get Rainbow Dash. I will get the others.” She said and ran inside Spike sprinted/waddled after her. “Are you sure I can’t get anyone else? I am sure I can do that.” He said as they ran down from their 2 story library home’s stairs. “Yes spike I am sure. Now go! Whatever it is several things fell out of that purple hole. But first we must send a message to the princesses!” She exclaimed. Spike pulls a piece of paper and quill from seemingly nowhere and gets ready to write a message. (Apologies, will not be writing the letter, I have no idea how Twilights personality is when she is sending the letters so we will be skipping the writing parts.) After the letter was sent they both bolted off to their friends’ houses. Spike, after running for 15 minutes finally arrived at her cloud house. He sighed knowing that waking Rainbow Dash would be difficult. 30 minutes later… “Come on Rainbow Dash! We got to meet up with the others!” Spike said as he tugged on Rainbow’s leg, trying to pull her to the library. “Yeah sure… Why are we going to the library again?” Spike groans in annoyance. “Because Twilight asked me to get you, now if we hurry we can get one of the other girls before twilight can get them all…” Spike said rounding the block corner to the library He finds all the other girls already gathered in front of the library. “Crap…” Spike said before his hand shot up to cover his mouth. “Spike!!!!” Twilight shouted, “Go wash your mouth out with soap!” “But it was an accident!!” He complained. “I don’t care, a dragon as young as you should not be swearing!!” She declared. “*sigh* fine…” Spike said and walked inside. The other mane six all looked at twilight. “Are you sure you weren’t a little hard on the little guy?” Rainbow asked, just now waking up. “Maybe… I’ll deal with it later, right now we need to prepare for the princess’s arrival!” Twilight said with a hint of panic. “But we are already here.” A new voice said. The mane 6 jump in surprise, while pinkie pie disappears into the sky using her supernatural pinkie pie power to achieve orbit. The mane 6 (minus 1) looks up seeing a flaming cloud, (again pinkie pie logic) and look back at the new arrivals. For first timers, the land the mane six live in is called Equestria, the planets name is Equus, and Equestria is co-ruled (currently) by 2 alicorns, a mix of all three pony species, earth pony (basic ponies), Unicorns, and Pegasus’s. They have the wings of a Pegasus, except larger, usually, the horn of a unicorn, which allows both unicorns and alicorns they’re magic powers, except stronger for alicorns, and the strength of the earth ponies, except stronger than them. Back to Equestria’s rulers, they’re names are Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Other questions you can ask me in the comment section. Any other things will be explained later as they come into our story. Moving on… The 2 co-ruling princesses stood, along with a small platoon of royal guard (about 30 of them), looking at the startle ponies before them. Again for first timers, Princess Celestia is taller and older than Princess Luna, (but personally, isn’t as popular with the fans, right?  (This is from what I have seen, please don’t hate on the story for my personal opinion) Princess Celestia is also more popular with her people currently, though you can credit this to Nightmare Moon. For those who don’t know, Nightmare Moon is a magical parasite that can take over her host. Princess Luna fell victim to her rage when for a long time, the ponies of her land, in her eyes, were no appreciating ‘her’ night, so she fell victim to rage, then she was confronted by Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon proposed an idea to her, to make eternal night. Luna in her rage accepted and Nightmare Moon took over her body. Nightmare Moon then went on a rampage annihilating all who tried to stop her, all except Princess Celestia. They fought, and Princess Celestia found that she could not reason with Nightmare moon. So, she used the Elements of Harmony, which literally launched Nightmare Moon to well, their moon (keep in mind the Elements of Harmony are extremely random and unexplained and unexplainable. So don’t try.) Princess Celestia banished her to the moon for 1000 years. For some unexplainable reason, the Elements of Harmony unlinked with Princess Celestia and she can now never use them again. Then the Elements of Harmony were hidden. The very second that banishment ended, and I mean the very second the banishment ended, she attacked the small town that the mane 6 currently stand in, Ponyville. Twilight and her friends found the Elements of Harmony and used them on Nightmare Moon again. But this time they purified Princess Luna of Nightmare Moon and now everybody is currently hunky dory. This brings us to now! “Princesses, it an honor to have you with us!” Twilight said, bowing to them. The rest of the mane 6 joins in (minus pinkie pie that is currently about to land.) Pinkie pie lands wearing a pirate hat, and alien mask, and has in her arms a Chitarri rifle from Avengers (by the way, that rifle works.) She looks around at her friends and bows, as well dropping all of her new “toys.” (Recommend not asking about it, its mind boggling for me too.) “Rise my little ponies. We have come to speak to you about the odd portal in the sky.” Princess Celestia says and turns around. “So you have noticed it too?” Twilight asked, standing up “Yes, and action must be taken to close it before something comes through.”  Celestia said, looking up into the portal. (What she fails to realize, is that Equestria’s newest residents had already arrived.) “We should wait until- “ Twilight began. “No, we must do it now. From how much chaotic power is emanating from that portal, I fear whatever may fall through that portal.” Celestia said sternly. “Y-yes princess…” Twilight stammered, turning to her friends. “You heard her girls we have to take care of this now.” She said quietly. A few groans were heard among the group, aside from pinkie pie who began hopping up and down and speaking gibberish about new people in town. Twilight and the rest of the gang however failed to realize that she said people instead of ponies. Setting out into the dangerous Everfree forest, to meet this new (possible) threat. Luke awoke with a start and an extreme headache. Raising his hand to grab his head, he smacked his helmet in the face with his bolter, causing a new ache in his neck. Groaning, he opened his eyes to see a dark sky and trees, along with a sizable hole in the canopy. Looking farther, he saw the warp portal he fell through. His combat training kicked in and he shot up into a standing position, left hand grabbing the chainsword at his waist, and right hand raising his bolter to aim at the portal, ready to fend off falling Chaos Marines or Daemons. But to his surprise the portal close soon after he raised his bolter. Looking to his surroundings he found something that surprised him even more than the fact that Chaos did not take the chance to attack. HE WAS SURROUNDED BY THE VERY XENOS HE SOUGHT TO DESTROY!!! “FOR THE EMPEROR!!!” He roared, charging towards a Necron warrior. He when asked later why he roared a war cry instead of simply killing them off when they were unconscious, he would claim it was instinct. The Necron however started up and brought its weapon to bear. It fired a shot and missed Luke, but hit a much worse target, The Hive Tyrant. The Hive Tyrant woke with a massively loud roar. This in turn woke all the others surrounding them. They all shouted in surprise, ranging from Binary of the Techmarine, to the simple and broken English of the Orks, followed of course by battle cries. “What is going- FOR THE CRAFT WORLDS!!!” An Eldar warp spider shouted. “Oi, wot’s goin on? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!” The nob shouted, shortly thereafter filling the air with machine gun rounds and sprinting at the Hive Tyrant. "Huh? BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!!" shouted the Chaos Marine, revving his chainaxe and charged towards the largest threat visible threat in the area, the Hive Tyrant. "FOR THE GREATER GOOD!!!" yelled the 3 Tau fire warriors and opened fire, full auto, disregarding their accuracy for damage. Lindros expressed his surprise through binary, before opening fire with his bolter as well. All of this happened in less than 10 seconds. Time began to slow for Luke as he raced towards the Necron warrior. It fired again, and Luke watched as the green lightning arced toward him. He dodged out of the way. and raised his Chainsword and began to bring it down on the Necron when suddenly, everyone he could see was enveloped in a golden glow. freezing the rounds that had once been flying through the air as well as those who fired them. "CEASE THY COMBAT IMMEDIANTLY MONSTERS!!!" A royal voice cried. The golden glow surrounding them and holding them in place disappeared and they all turned towards the source of the voice. They saw 2 alicorns, one white while the other midnight blue, and six smaller assorted Pegasus's, Unicorns, and horses, all of which were smaller than the average horse. The group looked first to the miniature horses, then to themselves, before the Orks came up with the right thing to say... "Oi, wat you lot want? Cant you'se see we's in da middle of somefing here?" The nob said, stepping forward. "Yes, we do acknowledge this, but the actions you would take shed blood in a land you are foreign to. Even if you are shedding it in your own group, it is unacceptable to me, as a co-ruler of Equestria!" The tall white one proclaimed. The nob merely shrugged. "So? Youze want ta foight about it?" The Ork said grinning, and bringing his large cobbled together gun to bear. The white alicorns seemed shocked. "If that is what you wish. Guards!" she shouted to the trees surrounding them. Suddenly a group of roughly 30 smaller white ponies step out of cover. The nob merely laughed at the display of strength. His boyz joined in. "Dat all you squigs got? Rioght then! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!" The Nob roared and charged at the nearest group of Guards. The Guards all roared out a war cry too and charged the charging Orks, when suddenly: "STOP!" Everyone froze, even the blood thirsty Orks. The Purple smaller pony stepped forth from the group. "Surely we can reach and peaceful middle ground?" It asked, hopefully. Luke had been hoping for this, seeing as the new xenos seemed intent on reaching a peaceful solution. It also helped that they spoke perfect Gothic. Lindros and the Hive tyrant beat him to the punch however as they stepped towards the purple unicorn. "I agree, while how extremely easy  it would be to slaughter each other here and now, it would be a waste of resources, energy, time, and innumerable other resources that each of our continued existence could bring." Lindros claimed. 'Indeed, these circumstances do stand and an environment that is hostile towards us is not helpful for our predicament.' The hive tyrant telepathically spoke. Luke also joined this group. "I agree. we will come willingly or Lindros, the Hive tyrant and I will beat the others into submission to make it so." He said, tensing his muscles for the possible battle. The rest of the group merely looked to one another in indecision, while the pony guards readied to fight alongside the monsters to stop more of them. The Chaos space marine began to laugh. "Ah, this is good Tzeentch, I decide to fight for Khorne and this is the result? Fine, I will go willingly Space marines, but only because the force you fight with I cannot defeat with my strength." He said and walked over to where the Space Marines and Hive tyrant stood. The Eldar warp spider, Tau Fire Warriors, and Necron warrior weighed their odds and decided to side with them as well, each for their own reasons. Lastly the Orks... "Gork and Mork! Fione Come on boyz, deyz got moar Dakka dan wez do." The Nob said with a sigh. His boyz groaned then with their nob leader joined the group. The purple Pony looked up at the White alicorn and smiled. The White alicorn smiled back, and then its horn began to glow. "SORCERY!!! DIE XENOS!!!" Luke and Lindros both shouted in Gothic and Binary. The 2 Space Marines charged before all they saw was a bright flash, and then black.
