Chapters Predaking was storming the Nemesis halls, in pure rage. Predaking is a large Cybertronian who was covered in orange robotic scales, large sharp claws, two mobile wing looking things on his back, spikes on his shoulder, along with a crown on his head, which made him look like an emperor. But what made Predaking most special, is that he is known as a Predacon, a dragon like Cybertronian species, which have gone extinct, eons ago. But he has been revived, thanks to his creator, Shockwave. Thirty minutes ago, he has gotten an Autobot to terminate, thinking that he and his team were responsible, for ruining the chance of reviving his species. But that rage was soon changed to his former master, Lord Megatron. He was now storming through the halls, killing any Vehicon soldier standing in his way, by either punching them, or blasting them with his hand mounted gun.
(Thirty minutes ago):
Two vehicon soldiers were throwing in a red and white Cybertronian. His name is Ratchet, and is his team's medic. Ratchet laid down on the ground, almost completely defenseless. Then Predaking arrived, while he looked down at Ratchet.
"Do you feel... Defenseless, Autobot?" Predaking said, with a threatening tone, while Ratchet looks up at the Predacon. "Good, now you know what my fellow Predacons endured..." He said, while taking a grip on Ratchet's head. "RIGHT BEFORE YOU MASSACRED THEM!"
Predaking then threw Ratchet over to the surface, of the ship. Just as Ratchet was about to get up, Predaking charged at him, and transformed into his Predacon form, which looked like a Dragon except more robotic. His Predacon form was also larger than his robot form. Predaking roared at Ratchet, where he begins to deal numerous of powerful scratches, from his dragon like claws at Ratchet. And after scratching him, biting him, and torturing him even more, he finally decided to end the Autobot's life, by taking a grip on the fallen Autobot, and begins to squeeze him to death.
"Just get it over with. It's not like i could ever live with myself. knowing the role I played in humankind's extinction." Ratchet said in agony. But before Predaking could finish him off, Ratchet decided to tell him something, Megatron the leader of the Deceptions has told him before.
"But if you want to avenge your cohorts, don't stop with me! Keep avenging all the way to Megatron!" Ratchet yelled. That made Predaking stop, and transform back to his robot form.
"What?! What do you mean?!"
"Your high and mighty leader wanted your Predacons exterminated and simply allowed us to do his dirty work for him!"
"Nothing but a false claim to save your own spark!"
"But you consider yourself an intelligent being, don't you?! Then rise above your base instincts and analyze the situation. We followed the trail that day with the desperate hope that it would lead to an Energon mine. We had no idea we would find Shockwave's laboratory."
"The coincidence barely seems plausible!"
"Because it wasn't a coincidence. The Energon was clearly planted - to lure us there by Megatron!"
"Why would my liege wish to destroy us?"
"Having just been on the receiving end of your might, one theory springs to mind Megatron fears you and any like you." Ratchet said. Predaking now knowing the truth, gritted his teeth in pure anger.
(Flashback end)
Back to the present, Predaking has killed numerous of Vehicon soldiers, until he has finally reached Megatron, who was walking through the halls, to retrieve a powerful weapon to confront Predaking. Unfortunately for him, Predaking found him first.
"Megatron!!!"
"I'll just go fetch that little something we talked about." A small red Deception said, which was Knock Out, the Decepticon Medic, who began to walk away in fear.
"Is it true that you ordered the annihilation of my army?!" Predaking yelled in anger. Megatron knew that lying to him was not an option anymore, decided to come completely clean.
"Indeed, and my only mistake was not seeing the extermination through." Megatron said, while drawing out his sword from his right arm. Predaking showed his claws in respond, and charged at Megatron. Megatron quickly slashed Predaking a few times, until Predaking gained the upper hand in the fight.
"I will tear you apart!!!" Predaking yelled in pure rage, while hitting Megatron, with a fallen Vehicon. After getting even more blows, Megatron was standing behind a closed door, while being overpowered by Predaking. But then, Starscream, a tall, thin, and grey Decepticon, and one of Megatron's first lieutenants, fired a missile from his right arm, which hit Predaking, dealing him slight damage, while giving Megatron an opportunity to strike. Megatron punched Predaking, and then threw him over to a room, with numerous exits.
"That's the spirit. But I was a champion of the pits of Kaon not only due to my savage might but also my cunning!" Megatron said, before pushing a button, which opened the first door behind Predaking, who was starting to get up. And then Megatron pushed the other button which opened the exit completely, which began to suck Predaking out of the ship. Predaking tried to hold around the exit. "You should have heeded my advice and faced me as a beast." Megatron said, while charging his Fusion Cannon. Predaking saw no opportunity to dodge, and was blasted out of the ship. Predaking was soaring through the skies, beside the Nemesis. But Megatron was not done yet, he wanted Predaking out of the way completely.
"Soundwave. Send our beast, far away from here." Megatron commanded in his com-link. Predaking who was still soaring through the skies, was about to transform into his Predacon mode, before noticing a green portal underneath him.
"What?! No!" Predaking yelled, before he got engulfed by the portal. Predaking felt his body get teleported far away, but it felt much different than before, probably due to the hit, he got from Megatron's fusion cannon. Predaking then disappeared from the portal.
"Excellent. I set my fusion cannon, to give him a few virus problems, that takes effect when he hits an open groundbridge. Which will probably send him away to another planet, or maybe another galaxy!" Megatron said, with a menacing smile, while Starscream began to close the exit. Predaking was now out of the way. But where is he?
Predaking just got out of the portal, while landing on a mountain top. And before Predaking could get an opportunity to return to the portal, it began to close right in front of him, much to his shock.
"NO!" Predaking yelled, while charging towards the closing portal. But it was too late. The portal was now too small, and it disappeared right in front of him. Predaking, who was now stranded, in a place unknown to him, yelled in pure rage.
"MEGATRON!!! You will pay for this!" Predaking yelled out. But it was to no avail, since he don't know where he is. Predaking then looked at his surroundings. He was standing on the side of a tall mountain. He looked around, and saw small cities, and a large castle on a mountain top, further away.
"I had him. Until Starscream ruined everything!" Predaking yelled in rage, but then slightly calmed down a bit, and sat down on a rock behind him. He looked down in sadness, since he failed to avenge his fallen comrades.
"It's no use. I don't know where i am. My species is gone, probably for good. I failed to avenge them. And i need some energon soon." Predaking said in sadness, who soon needed to feed on energon. He decided to look after some energon around, while observing the area. He eventually saw a cave, where he smelled energon in there. Predaking was even surprised, that there was energon, on the place he is on.
"I can smell energon. Lots of energon. This will do nicely, as a temporary resting place." Predaking said, while observing the cave, which was quite large on the insides. It was big enough, to hold Predaking in his Predacon form, but only enough to lay down a bit. He looked inside the cave, it was filled with energon crystals inside.
"Just need a few energon crystals, and a little nap. Then i will be at full power." Predaking said. He ripped off some energon crystals out from the cave, and chewed on them, while draining their energy. Predacons barely needed stable energon to survive, since his species can also eat raw energon. After eating a few of them, Predaking has decided to regain his strength, by taking a small nap.
"Maybe this world, knows about groundbridge technology. Hopefully tomorrow, i will find some answers." Predaking said, before transforming to his Predacon form, and began to take a nap. While sleeping, Predaking accidentally breathed a small flame from his mouth, which hit a few small energon crystals. Since they're only small, they don't explode, but instead creates lots of smoke, which spreads all over the place, Predaking has landed on, including a very familiar town nearby.
Much later, Predaking has regained most of his strength. Although he still needed to rest a bit more, before he can travel the world, in order to find a way back to Earth, the Nemesis, and especially revenge against Megatron. While resting, he begins to hear voices outside the cave.
"We're here. Rainbow Dash, you'll use your wings to clear the smoke." A feminine voice said. While he heard another one respond with a Mm-hmm.
"Rarity and Pinkie Pie, you'll create a diversion to distract the dragon if things get a little hairy in there." The voice said, while hearing some sort of rubber duck like sounds.
"Dragon? What's a dragon?" Predaking thought in confusion.
"Applejack, you're ready with the apples in case he decides to attack." The voice continued, while Predaking heard a few small explosions from outside.
"But it shouldn't come to that, because Fluttershy will do what she needs to do to wake him up, and between the two of us, we should be able to get him to understand why he needs to go. Is everypony ready?" The feminine voice said, while hearing most of them saluting, and one of them were shaking in fear. He then heard footsteps in his cave.
"Okay then, we're goin' in. So, what is the best way to wake up a sleeping dragon without upsetting him?" The footsteps stopped. "Fluttershy?"
"Oh, come on! Come on! We have to do this! Now! Every second longer that dragon sleeps is another acre of Equestria that is covered in smoke." The voice said, while hearing them try to push their friend. And even someone who laughed a bit. But what gave Predaking the most attention, is when the voice said "Equestria".
"Equestria? Is that the place, where i landed called?" Predaking thought to himself. The talk outside the cave continued.
"I-- I-- I can't go in the cave." A shy voice said, which earned some grumbling from the others.
"Oh, great. She's scared of caves now, too." A tomboyish voice said.
"I'm not scared of caves, I'm scared of..."
"What's that, sugarcube?" A southern voice said.
"I'm scared of..."
"What?" The first voice he heard said.
"I'm scared of dragons!" The shy voice said.
"But Fluttershy. You have a wonderful talent dealing with all kinds of animals." The first voice protested.
"Yes, because they're not dragons."
"Oh come on! We've seen you walk right up to a horrible manticore like it was nothing." The tomboyish voice protested.
"It would seem, that this place withholds many different creatures." Predaking thought.
"Yes, because he wasn't a dragon."
"Spike is a dragon. You're not scared of him." A childish young voice said.
"Yes, because he's not a huge, gigantic, terrifying, enormous, teeth-gnashing, sharp-scale having, horn-wearing, smoke-snoring, could eat a pony in one bite, totally all grown-up dragon!" The shy voice said.
"I'll pretend, that i didn't hear that." Predaking thought in annoyance.
"But, if you're so afraid of dragons, why didn't you say something before we came all the way up here?"
"I was afraid to."
"All of us are scared of that dragon."
"I'm not!" The tomboyish voice quickly said.
"Someone's brave today." Predaking thought. He had to admit, that those creatures, whatever they are, were quite brave today.
"Almost all of us are scared of that dragon, but we've got a job to do. So, get in there with Twilight and show her what you're made of."
"I-- I-- I just... can't." The shy voice protested.
"Oh, Fluttershy." The first voice said. Predaking has heard their entire conversation, and figured out their names quickly.
"Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Doesn't exactly sound like names for warriors." Predaking thought, while still having closed eyes. Then he heard footsteps once again.
"Mr. Dragon." The first voice said. Predaking opened his eyes slowly, and saw a strange lavender creature, walking on four legs, had some sort of purple hair on it, and had a horn on it's head. The creature was surprised at Predaking's appearance and size. He was at least 2-3 times bigger, than a normal adult dragon, and appeared to have more durable scales.
"Oh, good, you're awake. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Twilight..." The creature, which he assumed to be female said, before getting cut off by Predaking, who was giving a slight yawn.
"... Sparkle, and my friends and I are residents here in Equestria. Ponyville, to be exact. We've come here to ask that you find another spot to take your nap. It's just that you seem to be doing an awful lot of snoring, and every time you do you send out a terrible cloud of smoke. Equestria simply can't survive a hundred years in a dark haze. You understand, don't you?" She said.
"I can't leave this cave. It's got lots of energon. And i don't wanna waste it." Predaking thought. He then raised up a little bit, which the creature thought, that he was doing as she told.
"So, you'll find another place to sleep?" She said, only for Predaking to return to his nap. The creature then walked out. But then a few minutes later, he heard new footsteps arrive.
"I'm so sorry to interrupt." The voice said. He opened his eyes, and saw another creature, which was the same species as the previous one, except she's white, and her hairstyle is different. The creature then cleared her throat.
" But I couldn't possibly head back home without mentioning what handsome scales you have. And those scales have to be hidden away in some silly cave for a hundred years?" The white creature asked. But to her surprise, Predaking simply closed his eyes, who chose to simply ignore her. The white creature then walked out of the cave in disappointment. But then a few minutes later again, he heard some sort of sound, coming from outside the cave. And then some rather goofy footsteps entered the cave. He looked, and this time it was a pink one, except she doesn't have a horn, and was dressed in some sort of... Armor?
"Hi!" The pink creature said. But Predaking decided to ignore her as well. The pink one then walked out in disappointment, just like the others.
"Apparently he doesn't like laughing, heh. Or sharing." The pink one said. Then he heard the tomboyish one, who was beginning to get impatient.
"All right, that's it. We tried persuasion, charm, whatever it is Pinkie Pie does. It's time to stop wasting time! I'm going in!" The voice said, with seriousness. Then he heard someone charge into the cave, with lots of speed.
"Rainbow, no!" The purple one said. Predaking opened his eyes, and saw a blue one, with rainbow colored hair, and wings.
"Get! Out!" She yelled, while kicking Predaking right in his jaw. While it didn't hurt him at all, Predaking felt assaulted, and decided to end the little "get out of the cave" conversation. He growled at the blue creature, who began to look less braver than before.
"Heh. Sorry." She tried to apologize, only to get blown away, by Predaking's roar. The blue one hit the other ones, including them who tried to convince him, to leave his energon cave. The 5 creatures hit a rock behind them, while watching the "dragon" walk out angrily towards them. The creatures looked in fear, while cowering themselves. Then just as Predaking has left the cave, he then to the creatures surprise, transform into his robot form. The creatures were shocked, now seeing that this "dragon" was more than meets the eye.
"What?!" The creatures said in surprise.
"Strike me again. And i will burn your hooves to crisp." Predaking threatened, while leaning intimidatingly towards the scared creatures, especially the blue one.
Predaking stared menacingly at the scared creatures. He saw their faces. They were dumbfounded at his appearance. Like they have never seen anyone like him. But that reason may mostly be, due to have never seen a Cybertronian before. Especially not a Predacon like himself. Speaking off, Predaking has just blown the creatures back to a rock behind them, to show them what happens when they mess with a Predacon.
"Twilight... What the hay is that?!" The blue creature said astonished.
"I don't know Rainbow. I have never read about a shapeshifting dragon before." The lavender creature said in shock. Predaking scowled at being called a dragon.
"I'm no dragon." Predaking said with an intimidating tone. The creatures began to not only look more afraid of him, but also confused. Then Predaking noticed something odd. He heard six voices while inside the cave, but can only see five creatures around. Little did Predaking know, that the rock that the creatures bumped into, was beginning to shatter. And then it shattered, revealing a yellow creature from behind the rock, who appeared to be the sixth member of the group. The creature looked at the others in concern.
"So there's the sixth member. Looks hardly intimidating." Predaking thought. Then to Predaking's surprise, the yellow pony began to give an angry expression towards him.
"How dare you... How dare you!" The yellow creature began to yell. She then flew over to Predaking's face.
"Listen here, mister. Just because you're big doesn't mean you get to be a bully! You may have huge teeth, and sharp scales, and snore smoke, and breathe fire. But you do not-- I repeat-- You do not! Hurt! My! Friends! You got that?" She scolded in her most intimidating voice. The other creatures looked in surprise, like they have never seen her do something like this.
"I'm surprised. That she actually have the guts to stand up to a Predacon." Predaking thought in surprise. He has never seen someone rise their voice, towards his kind before.
"Well?" She said while twitching her left eye. Predaking shook out of his thoughts, and looked back at the yellow creature, who was in front of his face.
"I don't know much about what you're talking about. It was the blue one who kicked me." Predaking protested, while pointing at the blue creature. Who actually nodded proudly.
"And I am very sorry about that." The yellow creature said, much to the blue creature's confusion. "But you're bigger than she is, and you should know better. You should also know better than to take a nap where your snoring can become a health hazard to other creatures." She said. But Predaking still refused to leave the cave, due to it being rich with energon.
"But i can't..." Predaking was about to protest, until he was cut off by her next sentence.
"Don't you 'but I' me, mister. Now what do you have to say for yourself?" She said, while Predaking was in his thoughts. "I said, what do you have to say for yourself?" She scolded him, while giving Predaking a serious expression, while the other creatures looked in surprise at their friends outburst. But to the yellow creature's surprise, Predaking's face was completely unchanged by her scolding.
"I have to say, that the answer is no!" Predaking said, much to the yellow, and the other creatures shock. They have predicted for him to cry, and do as she said, but instead he simply declined the offer.
"What?! Now listen here mister..." The yellow creature was about to argue, until this time she was cut off by Predaking.
"No! Now you listen to me!" Predaking yelled, which actually silenced the yellow creature, and made her fly down to the ground, along with the others. "I have no time to waste, talking to a bunch of small creatures like you!"
"Who are you calling small, Dragon-breath?!" The blue one yelled.
"Like i said, i'm not a dragon." Predaking said.
"Okay then mister, if you're not a dragon." The lavender creature calmly said, before beginning one of her biggest outbursts ever. "THEN HOW CAN YOU HAVE LARGE SCALES? BAT LIKE WINGS? BREATHE FIRE? LARGE CLAWS? SHARP TEETH? AND ESPECIALLY LOOK LIKE A DRAGON?!!!"
"Because i'm not. I'm what is known... As a Predacon." Predaking replied. That made the creatures confused.
"Predacon? Is that a sub-species of the dragons?" The pink one asked. Predaking felt insulted at her sentence.
"No!" Predaking yelled, which made them cower in fear towards him. Predaking felt his hunger for energon, and decided to move back to the cave. "I think our little talk is done now. You may leave."
"I'm sorry mr dr... I mean Predacon." The lavender one said, while correcting herself. "But we have a reason for you to leave the cave." Predaking looked back at the lavender creature.
"And why should i leave my cave?" Predaking asked them.
"Because if you keep sleeping there, you will snore lots of smoke around Ponyvile, for maybe a hundred years." She replied. Predaking looked at them in confusion.
"First off, i don't sleep for eons." Predaking said, which made them confused when he said "eon", whatever that means. "And second, i don't snore smoke."
"You don't?" The blue one said in surprise. "Then how did all the smoke appear?!" She yelled to him. Predaking looked inside the cave, and saw some burned raw energon inside. He quickly putted the puzzle pieces together, and saw the small creatures meaning, of coming to his cave.
"I must have accidentally breathed some flames on the energon." Predaking thought, before stomping the burned raw energon, thus stopping the smoke around. The creatures looked both surprised and slightly happy.
"Yay! No more smoke." The pink creature cheered.
"Good. Now you can leave me alone." Predaking demanded, before beginning to walk back to his cave. He was then stopped by the yellow creature.
"Before you go. I want to apologize for scolding you. We thought that your snoring was the reason why the smoke appeared." She apologized to Predaking, much to his own surprise.
"That creature is so easily forgiving?" Predaking thought. He has never met someone, who has forgiven so easily before.
"And i think somepony owes him an apology as well." She said, turning over to the blue creature with rainbow mane. The blue creature sighed, and flew right in front of Predaking's face.
"Fine! I'm sorry for kicking you in the jaw, in your Preda-whatever it is form." She somewhat apologized. Then the lavender one walked up to him, along with the three others.
"Well, i guess Princess Celestia was a little wrong about a dragon making the smoke around Ponyvile." She said, before looking up to Predaking. "By the way, i never asked for your name. Who are you?"
"I am Predaking. King of the fallen Predacons." Predaking said, while making his introduction. The creatures looked confused. He said he is a Predacon, but now he mentioned the fallen Predacons.
"What do ya mean by fallen?" The orange one asked him.
" You won't leave unless you know more about me?" Predaking asked them. The creatures nodded in acknowledgement. Predaking sighed. He could burn them to crisp if he wanted to, but doing it to small creatures would be quite dishonorable. "But anyway, now i have done my introduction. Now you may introduce yourself."
"I guess that's fair. My name is Twilight Sparkle." The lavender creature now known as Twilight introduced.
"Ah'm Applejack." The orange creature now known as Applejack introduced.
"And i am Rainbow Dash. Fastest flier in Equestria." The blue creature now known as Rainbow Dash introduced with style. Predaking sighed in annoyance, due to her ego.
"Just what i needed. Another Starscream." Predaking thought.
"My name darling is Rarity." The white creature now known as Rarity introduced.
"Her accent is quite similar to mine." Predaking thought.
"Andi'mPinkiePienicetomeetyouit'ssoexitingtomeetanewdragonotherthanSpikebackinPonyvilebutthatdoesn'tmatterihopewecanpartysomeday." The pink creature now known as whatever she just said introduced. Applejack then putted a hoof on Pinkie Pie's mouth.
"Sorry about Pinkie Pie. She is always like this." Applejack apologized.
"And i'm... I'm Fluttershy." The yellow creature now known as Fluttershy introduced. But Predaking barely heard her.
"What?"
"I'm Fluttershy."
"What?!"
"I'm Fluttershy!" She yelled out, much to everyone's surprise.
"She yells loud for a creature of her size." Predaking thought.
"So now that we have introduced ourselves. Can you tell us more about your species." Twilight asked in excitement.
"Another time maybe. Your problem is solved. Now kindly leave for now." Predaking demanded once more, while walking inside his cave. Twilight sighed in disappointment.
"Can we meet you again tomorrow?" She asked.
"Maybe. Now leave." Predaking demanded. The 6 creatures left as told.
"Now i just need to recover to full strength, and then i will try to find some answers." Predaking thought, while sitting down a bit.
It's been hours since the small creatures, visited Predaking's cave. Predaking was glad that he was left alone for a bit, especially from the blue one who reminds him of Starscream, Megatron's skinny air commander. He remembered him torturing him back when he was simply known as the Predacon, but he always got Starscream back, even when he tried using the powerful Apex Armor. But his rage for Megatron burned more than for him, as he planned on how he would make Megatron suffer in his thoughts. He was soon at full strength, and soon ready to travel the new place known as Equestria, for any sign of Ground, or even better Spacebridge technology. If so, there is a possibility to get back to Earth, and hunt Megatron down.
"Just a few more hours, and my strength should be all good. " He thought, while trying to rest some more.
Meanwhile in a small town nearby(yes, the same place Predaking's used energon smoke, came across earlier), the creatures known as Ponies, were back in town. Twilight was inside her tree like library. She really wanted to write a letter to the princess, after today's special events.
"Spike! I'm home!" Twilight called. Spike then showed up from the upper floor, having trouble with taking care of their pets.
"I'm here Twilight. So did you stop the dragon?" He asked the lavender unicorn, while he shook off the pets.
Twilight however shook her head. "We didn't... well not exactly. We did stop the smoke. But the smoke wasn't from a dragon."
Spike was surprised. "Really? Then where did the smoke come from then?"
"It was from some sort of burned blue crystals of some sort. But I had never seen such crystals or gems before."
"You haven't? But do you think they would be delicious?" Spike asked, while letting his tongue out, imagining how delicious such a gem could be.
"Not exactly sure, but Predaking did mention they were known as Energon, whatever that is." Twilight said.
Spike gave a confused expression. "Predaking? Is that the name of the dragon on the mountain you were earlier?"
"Well... it's both yes and no. Predaking looked like a dragon when we first met him, but he said that he wasn't."
"Then what was he?"
"He told us he was known as a Predacon." Twilight said.
"Predacon? What type of Dragon is that?"
"I don't know. I'm not even sure it's even related to Dragons. He was much larger than ordinary Dragons, his scales and hide appeared more solid and sturdier than normal dragons, his eyes glowed completely yellow and had had no pupils... well at least in his Dragon form."
"Twilight, why do you mention that he has a Dragon form? Is he a shapeshifter or something?" Spike asked out of curiosity.
"Well sort of. When he approached us, he became smaller yet still incredibly huge, he stood on two legs like bears or monkeys do when angered. His stance and appearance was very akin to royalty."
"I see. No doubt he calls himself 'Predaking'" Spike chuckled.
"Spike, I highly doubt he's a laughing matter. We're talking about a whole new species we haven't seen before." Twilight said, as she sounded serious at the situation.
"So what are we gonna do?"
"First, we'll send a letter to Princess Celestia. Maybe she knows anything about Predacons. Spike, take a letter." Twilight ordered.
"You got it Twilight." Spike saluted, as he took out a piece of paper, and a feather pen.
"Dear Princess Celestia, I am happy to report that the smoke that clouded all of Ponyvile is has completely vanished. But we did also find something that surprised us all, once we reached the top of the mountain, where you informed there was a dragon that snores all the smoke. It turned out that there wasn't a dragon on top of the mountain, but something that was akin to one the first time we saw it. While hostile at first, he turned out to be not as bad as we thought. We don't know that much about him, but he calls himself Predaking, and said his species are known as Predacons. Even i'm not sure what they are, so i'm sending you this letter to check if you know anything about Predacons. Always your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle." Twilight said, as Spike wrote everything down.
"Oh, and 'PS: Fluttershy did her best to stand up for him when he seemed hostile, but the stare failed miserably on him.'" Twilight added. Once Spike finished writing everything down, he rolled the scroll together, and breathed a green flame from his mouth, sending it away.
"Letter sent Twilight."
"Good. I hope Princess Celestia has knowledge about the Predacons."
"Oh i'm sure she does." Spike assured her with a smile.
"Thanks Spike... wait, where's my friends pets you were taking care of?"
Spike then snapped back to that thought. "Oh yeah. I'll be back soon."
Spike then ran off, to find the missing pets. Then Twilight heard a voice outside.
"Twilight! You gotta come see this! She's just five away from a new pony record!" Applejack's voice exclaimed from outside her library. Twilight smiled, as she walked to the library's balcony, to check on her friends.
Inside Canterlot, Equestria's capital town, sits Princess Celestia with a piece of strawberry cake, and a cup of coffee. She's been busy with taking care of her numerous usual ruling plans.
"Chef. Please bring me some more cake." Princess Celestia politely ordered her kitchen staff, mainly the stewardess pony standing beside her.
"Of course Princess Celestia. More strawberry shortcake coming up." The stewardess nodded, and walked toward the kitchen for more cake, to their beloved princess.
"Now, I wonder how my faithful student is doing with the little smoke problem." Princess Celestia wondered, while she sipped her coffee mug. "Did I give them a task too difficult for them to complete? " She thought, with slight worry of her student along with her friends.
After a few moments, she scuffed at her worry, and took another sip of her coffee. "Nah, there is nothing to worry about. They're the bears of the Elements Of Harmony. How dangerous and huge can the dragon be? "
Then suddenly, a letter suddenly appeared floating beside her head. "It seems that they succeeded their task."
Princess Celestia then opened the letter, as she skimmed the letter through, while taking another sip on her coffee mug. "They stopped the smoke. That's a relief. Now that spares me the work from doing it later."
The stewardess then returned to the princess, with a plate of Pound cakes. "I'm back Princess Celestia. I couldn't find anymore strawberry shortcakes, so I thought that..."
Before the stewardess could finish, Princess Celestia suddenly spit-taked her coffee, right in her face. The stewardess felt her head getting hotter, from all the hot coffee dripping on her face.
She tried her best to ignore the hot coffee that painfully scalds her face. "I'm so sorry Princess Celestia. But there really was no strawberry shortcake. Please don't punish me! Please don't send me to the moon!"
Celestia listens to her begging, and noticed her. "Oh, my apologies. I wasn't trying to spit my coffee on you purposely."
The stewardess soon calmed down, as she sighed in relief over not getting punished after all. "Oh. Glad to hear that, just afraid that you'll punish me for shocking you that I didn't bring you any strawberry shortcakes."
"Apology accepted. But that wasn't why I panicked."
"Then what was it then Princess Celestia?"
"I'm afraid that's serious business. Just please take a day off. I got work to do."
"Really? Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" The stewardess cheered, as she left the room, leaving Princess Celestia alone.
Her face soon turned serious. "I never thought that a Predacon would visit Equestria."

New friend. New disaster.
Equestria's sun rose, and it's light shined upon the land. That also included Predaking's cave. Predaking could feel all of his energy starting to flow through his body as it should be. The mighty predawn now knew that his powers has returned to it's full extent. He knew that he could now leave the cave without any trouble. The self proclaimed king of Predacons opened his eyes, as he opened his mouth to roar out of his pride.
"The time is now. My full strength has returned. At last I can go explore the world, to find out where I can go for ground bridge technology, and see if they can transfer me back to Earth. " Predaking thought in his mind, due to his Predacon formed lacked the capability of speech aside from roaring.
As the Predacon started to spread his wings out, he started to hear something. He heard footsteps, just like plenty of hours ago, except they were fewer. Way fewer.
"What is it this time? " Thought Predaking. He waited for a few moments, as he stepped back and spread his wings out, in case if the newcomer is hostile and wants to fight. As more and more footsteps could be heard, he started hearing something.
"Uhm... hello? Mr. Predaking?" Mumbled a shy and quiet voice. One that was quite familiar to Predaking himself. The footsteps then fully reached the entrance of the cave, and the visitor was revealed. Predaking widened his eyes a bit, as he noticed that the unknown newcomer wasn't a newcomer after all. It was the same yellow equine with wings known as Fluttershy, whom he recognized from yesterday.
Predaking glared his eyes down on the small pegasus, who despite being way smaller than himself, tried her best to not scream and run away, at the sight of Predaking's "Dragon form". "Good... Good morning Predaking. Pleasant day isn't it?" Fluttershy mumbled with a slightly mute, but also underneath a gentle tone.
Predaking responded by growling a bit at her, which made Fluttershy take a few steps back a bit. "Oh? Sorry. I woke you up at a bad time didn't I?" She started to turn around, as she headed out of his cave. "I just wanted to check on you, but you may be too tired at the moment to talk, so I can just see you later if you don't mind."
He growled once more, which made Fluttershy stop at her tracks. He clearly realized that her shy and uncertainty wouldn't get either of them anywhere, and his Predacon form no doubt scared her, so he opted to turn the situation around. He roared for a few seconds, before shifting his body plenty of times, until his slightly smaller, yet still giant robot form stood in place of his alternate form.
"I see you came back to see me Shutterfly." Predaking said. His slow and royal accent akin to the Canterlot ponies could be heard in Fluttershy's ears. At seeing his humanoid form, Fluttershy eased up a little, and turned back to Predaking. "Just what is your business with me today?"
"First, It's Fluttershy." She corrected him. "And second, I came to visit you, just like I asked once yesterday."
He nodded to her, before coming up with a question he had in mind. "Is that the only reason why you came to my cave?"
Fluttershy both nodded and shook her head. "Well, yes I just wanted to meet you. But there's also another reason why I came to see you."
Predaking widened his left eye a bit out of confusion. Fluttershy started speaking her next words. "I want to hear more about you and your species."
"What did you just ask?" He asked while making a few growls, that almost intimidated the shy pegasus.
"Oh sorry. Did I offend you or anything?"
"That wasn't my point here. Why do you want to hear more of me and my race?" Asked Predaking.
Fluttershy looked down a bit, before coming up with her answer. "Well, it's just... that finding some new species of creatures around here in Equestria is what peeks my interest. And I may not be fully sure, but I just thought that if I visited you more often, and spoke to you some more, might give me a chance to have a new friend."
Predaking was surprised a bit of Fluttershy's confession of her arrival. But what surprised him the most, was that Fluttershy just spoke a word Predaking has never heard of. Neither before his resurrection, nor his time working under Megatron's command, did he hear the special word called 'friend'.
"Friend? What does the word 'friend' mean?" He asked the shy pegasus, which just made her gasp out of surprise.
"You... don't know what a friend is?" She asked him. She received Predaking's shaking his head as a reply, which made her gasp once more. "Are you saying you don't have any friends?"
Fluttershy almost got a few tears in her eyes, as she gently patted Predaking's right leg a bit. "Oh you poor dear. Having to live the whole life without friends."
Predaking was confused of the pegasus going from meek and shy, to motherly and caring. "I have no clue what you're doing."
Fluttershy stepped back a bit, yet this time it was without fear. "I just wanted to comfort you, for feeling so... so lonely."
"I see your concern Fluttershy, but I wasn't always alone back then."
Fluttershy sat down on her behind, as she listened. "Eons ago, I used to be a ruthless and relentless warrior that could not be stopped by anyone who wanted to."
He earned a gasp from Fluttershy. "You were a warrior?!"
Predaking nodded to her. "Aside from Royal Canterlot Guards, we rarely hear anyone who goes by as warriors rather than guards."
"Then it seems that your world lacks the necessary needs for warriors."
"Well... Equestria did encounter some fights back those times." Fluttershy said, remembering her time where she needed to stop the ancient enemy of Equestria; Nightmare Moon the evil princess of the night. Then Fluttershy realized something Predaking mentioned just earlier. "Wait. A bit earlier, did you mention... resurrection?"
She received a nod from Predaking in respond. "Are... are you a zombie?"
"If you're referring to non living creatures like Terrorcons, then no, i'm no non living Terrorcon." Fluttershy sighed in relief for a moment. "But someone did gave me a way to restart my life in the present."
"What a nice person. Who was it?"
Predaking growled a bit out of slight anger, yet not out of pure frustration and hate. "My former creator. Shockwave."
"Shock... wave?" Fluttershy mumbled a bit.
"Shockwave was a Cybertronian scientist working under a group known as Decepticons." Fluttershy had no clue what those unknown words meant to her. "To clear things up for you, Predacons are a sub-species of Cybertronian. Which makes me a Cybertronian myself."
"So you're a Cybertronian? But you're species category goes as a Predacon?" She asked the Predacon king.
"You're catching on. Maybe you're actually worth speaking with." He said. He was slightly impressed that she actually listened to his speeches a bit.
"T... thank you." She said with a small yet visible smile. "Can you tell me more about your past?"
Predaking sighed a bit. "Very well. If that will satisfy you, I will tell you the rest of my story."
Predaking leaned down to the ground, and started sitting down. The two separate beings stood one to one another, ready to bond some more(in Fluttershy's case).
Meanwhile back in Ponyville, the rest of the ponies from yesterday has just gathered together inside the Golden Oak Library.
"So, does any pony here know where Shy is? I checked her cottage an hour ago, and she wasn't there." Rainbow Dash asked.
"I haven't seen that gal all day long, cuz I was doing my morning work on ma'h farm." Applejack spoke up.
"I'm afraid I don't know where dear Fluttershy is at the moment." Rarity said.
"Neither do I. It seems none of us have met her at any point this morning." Twilight said. "I don't know about you girls, but I speculate that she's somewhere out of Ponyville right now.
"Oh. Maybe she decided to get this series on the road, and go buy me and the publishers some cupcakes so we can workout better for today." Pinkie Pie blurted out, which made her receive numerous confused looks from the girls.
"Pinkie? What... the hay... was that supposed to do with anything?" Rainbow asked with a slightly irritated tone.
"Oh. Just a hunch on what everyone might be doing outside of Equestria." She said. The girls clearly knew that Pinkie was getting them nowhere right now, and just decided to let it go.
"Well who knows? Where could she have been going this morning?" Twilight asked all of her friends minus Fluttershy.
Pinkie thought for a few seconds. "Just a new hunch, but maybe she decided to go visit Predaking."
"Aw come on Pinkie. There's no way that Shy's up back with that dragon from yesterday. She's too scared of shadows including her own, and especially dragons." Rainbow Dash said.
"Maybe, but ya were just as scared as the rest of us when he confronted us back then." Applejack pointed up with a smug grin.
"Girls. This isn't the moment we need to argue about the situation. We need to find out where Fluttershy is." Twilight pointed out to them. "Knowing Fluttershy, she should still be here somewhere in Ponyville, so we should just split up, and go find her."
"Twilight darling? I hope you don't mind me asking, but if she's just close to our town, then what's the point of us all going through a panic, and try searching all of Ponyville to find her?" Rarity pointed out to her, which made Twilight realize her point.
"Oh right. I get your point Rarity. I was just a bit paranoid." Twilight said with a small blush on her face. The lavender unicorn's eyes were also a bit on the grey side, as she also panted a bit out of exhaustion.
"Ya okay Twilight? Ya seem to be the most tired out of us all. Almost as if ya were looked on by a Cockatrice" Applejack asked her friend, due to her concern of her well being.
"The thing is, that Princess Celestia haven't really replied to my letter from yesterday." She explained. "Once I sent the message, I waited for hours, and hours. But no matter how long I waited, Celestia didn't reply to me at all. Is she sick? Did she catch a fever or something?"
Applejack placed a hoof on Twilight's forehead a bit. "Easy Twi. Take some deep breaths. We don't know why she haven't answered yet, but ya should just wait patiently until she answers. That's what I usually do."
That made Twilight calm down a bit, as she took a deep breath. "Thanks for helping me Applejack. And you're right, I should just wait patiently until Celestia answers my..."
Then out of everypony's surprise, the solar ruler of Equestria, Princess Celestia has just teleported during the middle of the Library. "Excuse me? I didn't interrupt anything?"
"P... Princess Celestia?" Twilight mumbled in surprise. Everypony soon kneeled before their ruler out of respect. "What... what brings you here?"
She smiled down to her faithful student. "I came to see you all. Something i've been thinking a lot out of your yesterday's letter."
That statement made Twilight gasp. "You... you think that my letter was bad? Didn't you? If so, then i'm really sorry about this. Just please don't separate me from my friends." Twilight pleaded a bit, as her whole body shook out of fear.
Celestia's smile vanished, and shook her head. "No Twilight. That is not the reason I came here. But still, it involved something on your latest letter."
Twilight eased up, and every pony rose back up on their feet. "So what's the catch Princess?" Rainbow Dash asked her.
Celestia's face turned serious to all of them at sight. "Because everypony here in Equestria, will soon be at grave danger."
Those news made all the ponies besides the princess gasp in shock. "I know it's shocking, but I came here to warn and help you all, with a terrible disaster that has come here."
"What... what is it?" Twilight asked her.
Celestia turned to her student. "Like I mentioned, it involved your letter from earlier. And you've just encountered a Predacon."
Everypony gasped a bit. Pinkie's head appeared all of a sudden. "Oh you've seen that? Did Twilight mention how good friends we just became with him?"
Celestia shook her head. "No. Listen up every pony. If we don't stop our visiting Predacon soon... all of Equestria's ponies will go extinct, almost just like last time."

Everypony inside the Golden Oak Library but Princess Celestia were awfully silent. The solar princess of Equestria has recently arrived to inform them something really important.
And one thing was certain. They weren't good news.
"Princess Celestia? What do you mean by us going extinct?" Rainbow Dash broke the silence. As awesome as she thinks she is, she too is wondering what Celestia was telling them.
Twilight was the next who had something to ask her mentor. "Not to mention that you mentioned almost just like last time. Does that mean you know about Predacons?"
She received a nod from Princess Celestia in respond. "I do. And it's unfortunate that Equestria must encounter those vicious Predacons again."
"Excuse me your majesty?" Said Rarity in her usual formal manner. "But is there a story between you and Predacons?"
"Oh? Does it involve about previous friendships you shared with them? Were Predacons really nice and party loving dragons?" Asked Pinkie Pie, almost completely oblivious over Celestia's warning.
"No Pinkie Pie. That never happened" Celestia shook her head, which earned a sigh of disappointment from Pinkie Pie. "In fact, i should all tell you something. A story about the Predacons in Equestria."
Princess Celestia cleared her throat for a moment, before beginning her speech. Everypony kept themselves quiet to listen.
"It all started more than a few years after Nightmare Moon's banishment. I was still grieving over the fact that i had to banish my dear younger sister Luna to the moon, in order to protect Equestria from eternal night. Then from the sky humongous a total of 3 meteors approached Equestria all of a sudden."
"Oh. Shooting stars. Did you wish for something?" Pinkie Pie interrupted, which earned a couple of shushes from her friends. "Sorry."
Celestia continued. "Each meteor that landed made a colossal crater during impact. Almost all of Equestria could hear it. They all landed near the mountains, which me and a couple of the best archaeologists decided to investigate. We all took a close look, which is where we realized that they weren't meteors at all. In fact, they weren't anywhere close to rock material."
Everypony kept listening. The princess cleared her throat to continue. "Those 'meteors' were akin to dragons in terms of appearance, but they had a couple of key differences. Their skin seemed to be made of an unknown material similar to steel. They were more than twice the size than usual grown dragons. And once their eyes opened, they lacked pupils, only glowing golden eyes that stared down upon us."
Twilight then interrupted her next. "Hold on, you're saying that Predacons existed here on Equestria almost 1000 years ago?"
"That's indeed true Twilight Sparkle." The princess responded. "And if you haven't already guessed, then the reason i've come to explain about them is that those beings called Predacons didn't come here in peace. Each Predacon that just opened their eyelids started roaring towards the sky. When they noticed me and the archeologists, they charged at us, indicating that they see us as their enemies. I managed to conjure a shield in time to protect me and my group. Once they were safe, i tried to get close enough to reason with them, tell them that we weren't here to harm them or something. The Predacons however were completely unreasonable no matter what i tried explaining to them. They rampaged towards Canterlot."
"I'm not exactly sure if i should say if it's cool or horrifying." Stammered Rainbow Dash. "I mean, i'm not afraid of dragons at all."
"Just like ya weren't earlier during our dragon cave time?" Applejack smirked, with Rainbow Dash glaring at her.
Celestia cleared her throat again. Applejack and Rainbow Dash returned to paying their attention. "During their rampage, i used my magic in attempt to slow them down. I was however stunned to see the Predacons resistant to my magic. I tried casting various of powerful spells to stop them, but it made no difference, they in the end ignored every spell and magic power i've used on them. They were getting close to Canterlot. Finally i decided to use the last resort that i hoped it wouldn't come to be. The Elements Of Harmony."
"You used the Elements Of Harmony on them? What happened?" Asked Rarity.
"The minute before the Predacons could get close to Canterlot, the Elements magic were surrounding all 3 Predacons. I watched them all slowly turning to stone. Even with the Elements, i had to concentrate all the time, the Predacons were doing their best to resist the magic. At last after a long struggle with them, it was all over. They were now a couple of statues. The panic was over, and i hid them far away as possible. Over the years everypony but me seemed to have forgotten all about the Predacons. Knowing how powerful those creatures were, i was hoping that Equestria wouldn't ever see such foul beings. But today i realized i was wrong."
Everypony felt silent once more. They were a little afraid of hearing Celestia's past story. "So ya'r saying that Predacons are a bunch of big violent bullies that attacked you?" Asked Applejack.
"That's one way to describe them. And Twilight Sparkle wrote about you all meeting a Predacon today." Said Princess Celestia.
"That's right. Predaking was the one making the smoke. Or it was actually those funny blue gems that caused it, and he ignited them. Which means he was in fact the one who started it after all." Retorted Pinkie Pie.
Celestia eyed Pinkie Pie the moment she mentioned the name of the Predacon. "Predaking?"
"Yep, that's what he said his name was. He looked something similar to a king."
The princess almost felt a cold chill inside her heart. "Said? Are you telling me that this Predacon known as: Predaking, can speak?" Asked Princess Celestia.
"He could do more than that. He could even shift his body like a piece of puzzle bricks. In his other form he was quite similar to what is known as primates in terms of stance and body."
"I had no idea Predacons were capable of such feet. The one they're talking about seems far more intelligent than the first 3 i confronted almost 1000 years ago. " Thought Princess Celestia.
"This could lead to danger if a Predacon like him is this intelligent. He may perhaps be trying to manipulate them before he would strike with his upcoming rampage. " Celestia then turned to Twilight. "Twilight? Where is Fluttershy? I haven't seen her around lately."
"I think she's with Predaking. She wants to hear more from him."
"This Predacon must be already taking advantage of one poor pony. I cannot let it continue. " Celestia thought. "But in case that he's really that cunning as i may fear he is, maybe i should go see him to make precautions for upcoming battles. "
After being done with her thoughts, the Princess turned to Twilight again. "Twilight. Please take me to this 'Predaking'. I would like to see him up close."
Twilight nodded to her ruler and mentor. "As you wish Princess Celestia. Me and my friends have been discussing about going up there to meet Fluttershy as well."
Everypony headed out of the library. As they walked, Rainbow Dash flew next to Applejack. "Do you have a feeling that Celestia means business with Predaking?" She whispered.
"Ah'm glad that i ain't the only one with a sudden bad feeling about this Dash." Applejack whispered back.
On top of the mountain where the large dragon cave was located, Predaking has yet to leave the cave. He was still conversing with his newly made associate Fluttershy. This was also the first time Predaking was speaking with another being that clearly wasn't a Cybertronian such as himself.
As of now Predaking was telling the small yellow pegasus about his past life. "And there you have it. The story of how my resurrection came to place. How my time with the Decepticons were. How that fiend took away my chance to reunite with my kind. And how i failed to avenge them."
Fluttershy has listened to Predaking's whole story. She was gaping in surprise while having heard the whole story of Predaking's past life after he was returned to the living. At the same time she was dropping a small tear from one of her eyes.
Her empathy for him only grew stronger. "I'm really sorry Predaking. Even if you're kind wasn't the most friendliest, you still do care for them."
Predaking saw Fluttershy spreading her wings out and flew up to his eye sight. She gently placed a hoof on his face, which indicates her sympathy for him. That was almost exactly what she did earlier when he mentioned his species extinction.
Sympathy was something Predaking had little knowledge of. He could somehow feel something inside of him warm up. Something that makes him feel something blooming in his spark. He just couldn't place his claw on what that was.
Is this what it may be? The word friend she mentioned.
"I just can't believe what you've been through. Those Decepticons you call were just using your feelings to take your anger out on the wrong." She said. She removed her hoof from his face as he looked to her. He could see she didn't seem all this scared of him than she was earlier.
"Neither could i. Even my former creator Shockwave had the nerve to turn his back on me. After everything i've done. And this is what i gain in return?" Said Predaking. He was still filled with anger from remembering the time not only the air commander Starscream torturing him(and paid the price in return), and next Megatron breaking his trust by planning a termination on Project Predacon, which he put the blame on the Autobots.
"This Megatron is... just a really evil pony." Said Fluttershy. She was hesitating to say the more bold words to express it.
"You don't know the beginning. And i was planning on terminating an Autobot that i thought held responsible for that eradication. But before i landed the last strike, he told me the truth." Predaking continued to explain. "I turned on my former leader Megatron, got rid of every soldier in my way, and prepared to take my revenge on him."
Predaking sighed. "Unfortunately Starscream came to ruin it. Once my guard was lowered, Megatron send me out of his flying warship. And before i had a chance of turning into a beast to fly back, i was ground bridged here to your land."
Fluttershy was saddened to hear that. While she knew that taking revenge is usually a bad thing. She could feel Predaking's wrath for Megatron was more justified, knowing that he was manipulated and had his reunion chance ruined out of the evil leader's own arrogance and paranoia.
Now Fluttershy had something else coming to her mind. "What is this ground bridge exactly Predaking?" Asked Fluttershy. She heard him mention ground bridge a lot during his story telling.
"I am no genius in terms of science. I know ground bridges are technology made to coordinate two distant locations. Once an individual enters, they arrive from the first location to the other. Space bridges are the superior kind that can travel further away."
"Oh like a teleportation spell? My friend Twilight knows a bit about teleportation spells." Fluttershy said. "Maybe you could ask her more about it sometime."
"It seems there's not unlikely i won't. By your confusion, ground bridge technology is not from this world." Predaking sighed, which Fluttershy could tell was out of disappointment.
Fluttershy tapped his face again. "Don't be sad Predaking. I'm sure we will come up with a solution. Maybe Twilight can find a way to send you home."
"I don't know. Can she be trusted?" Predaking asked.
"You met her yesterday Predaking. Didn't she sound like a nice pony to you? I swear that she's nothing like that Megatron who's been lying to you for so long."
Predaking gave a thought for a moment. He then came for a conclusion. "Alright then. If she does know something about it, then you can have her over here. But don't take too long."
Fluttershy nodded to him. She turned to fly out of the cave, leaving Predaking alone for the time being.
"Even if they do find a way to get me back for Megatron, why do i feel sudden emptiness inside my skin?" Predaking said. "Maybe this pony creature is having a mysterious effect on me."
Fluttershy kept fluttering away from the mountains above where Predaking resided. Though she was a pegasus, she wasn't really used to flying at speeds that cleared the clouds above like her closest friend Rainbow Dash. She took the same path down she came all the way up alongside her friends when they were previously assigned to stop the "dragon's smoke" earlier.
Now she was returning to Ponyville. She needed Twilight's help as Predaking requested not too long ago.
"Predaking's gonna enjoy Twilight's help. She's an expert when it comes to magic." She calmly muttered.
Twilight was the best unicorn she knew up for the case. Well sure Celestia and Luna could most likely pull greater feats of magic, thanks to them being alicorn that are centuries old.
But that wasn't the point. Twilight was a close friend of her's, and she'd more than likely help Predaking's problem since he got here. Plus Twilight might even get the chance to study Predaking.
That is, if Predaking would even allow it.
Fluttershy of course remembered that out of everyone he has met so far around here, only herself has actually gotten a little progress getting to know him. The others had opted to stay behind back in Ponyville.
Rainbow wanted to beat her own record in ball bouncing. Applejack probably needed to get back and help Big Macintosh. Rarity wanted to ensure nothing bad happened to her mane from the mission. Pinkie probably muttered something about preparing a "we've discovered predacons" party, or something. And Twilight needed to report to Celestia about Predaking.
Speaking of, if Twilight has just messaged the ruler of Equestria, that would mean that Celestia must've heard about Predaking by now.
"I sure hope the Princess won't be too amazed about Predaking."
Then speaking of once more. As she was fluttering through the road heading back to Ponyville, she found a group right ahead of her. Six in total in fact.
Fluttershy gasped. Not only were all her friends heading towards her, but even the solar princess Celestia was alongside them.
She knew that if Celestia has come, it had to involve something really serious. As the group and herself was close to crossing paths, Rainbow Dash was already ahead of charging at her. The blue pegasus was quick to use her front hooves to hug her hard.
She could feel her strength from the hug alright. "Rainbow? Did you miss me?"
"I'm so glad you're safe Shy." Rainbow Dash said. The rest of the group was approaching as Applejack bit Rainbow's tail, dragging her away, and freeing Fluttershy from her hug to give her a minute to catch her breath.
"Chill out Rainbow Dash. At least give Shy a small breather." Applejack deadpanned. Rainbow glared back at her, clearly annoyed by her being pulled by the tail.
Thankfully Rarity and Pinkie Pie stopped them both before another argument between them could commence. Fluttershy noticed Twilight and Princess Celestia approaching her, with Fluttershy quickly attempting to bow before her.
"It's alright Fluttershy. No need to be formal right now." Her ruler said with a calm expression.
"No offense Princess Celestia, but why was it that Rainbow hugged me earlier? I was just away since this morning to have a little talk with him."
"And by 'him', you're referring to the one known as Predaking yes?" Celestia asked her.
Fluttershy's previous assumption turned out correct. The princess has indeed figured out about Predaking. Though to her confusion, she could hear Celestia's voice being a little sharp when she mentioned Predaking.
Twilight walked right up to Fluttershy. "Sorry Fluttershy. Let me explain what happened earlier. Celestia just came here to speak with Predaking."
"Really?" Fluttershy was indeed surprised of what she just heard. It's only been this long, and Celestia already wanna have a word with him.
Though to be fair, a species never heard of in Equestria would more than likely be something that Princess Celestia is needed for to address.
Celestia cleared her throat quickly. "Fluttershy? Would you please be so kind and show me the way to Predaking? I know Twilight said she would, but since you're more involved with him than she is."
There it was again, Fluttershy could hear the sharpness in her voice when she mentioned Predaking's name once more. Something serious must be going on.
She wanted to ask why, but she might feel like not getting an answer right away, so she felt that it might have to wait for the time being.
"Yes Princess Celestia." Fluttershy turned around to fly back to the mountain, with Celestia following. The others soon followed up on foot, except Rainbow who could fly.
"Why exactly did we, nor Celestia tell Fluttershy about those Predacons again?" Rainbow whispered to her friends. They were at a distance so Fluttershy couldn't hear them.
Twilight shook her head. "Would you really give Fluttershy the shock of her life by mentioning how Predacons were 1000 years ago? We could risk blowing up her chances of befriending Predaking."
"And your chances of studying him egghead?" Rainbow chuckled, with Twilight glaring at her annoyed.
Applejack butted in between them. "Girls, this ain't no laughing matter. If Predaking really is a savage underneath that fancy mouth of his, he might be a threat to all of Equestria."
"You're right Applejack. We mustn't let our guards down when we meet him again." Said Twilight.
On top of the mountain, in the caves, Predaking was remaining inside, awaiting for Fluttershy's return after the promise she made.
Though Predaking wasn't much too keen on promises after his past ordeal with Megatron, he could at least give the pegasus a chance. He has in fact never heard a single living being sound so innocent.
The yellow pegasus was in fact the only being he's met that had something in her even he couldn't exactly find fitting. He couldn't feel any cold feelings in her like Soundwave had.
The paranoia Megatron had against him and his fellow Predacons.
The arrogance and pride of Starscream(well the blue equine from earlier wasn't too far).
The closest thing that too wasn't far off this feeling was his earlier treatment he received from Shockwave his creator. He was the only Decepticon who actually gave him the respect he rightfully deserved. But even he turned his back on him eventually.
Predaking gritted his teeth a bit over remembering them. He however managed to keep himself cool. "I have only known this equine for this long, and yet, I feel something odd around her."
The talk from earlier, the very feeling that made even his chest warm up. What exactly is that feeling? Something he hasn't felt ever since Shockwave actually cared for him once. Back when he got petted by his former creator, even he could feel something warm heating up from inside. And it wasn't even the same as when he breathes fire.
"This world is indeed very strange. Nothing like back in the warship."
It was then that Predaking could hear footsteps outside the cave. Only something was different than the past two times earlier. First, he could hear a group of them, only this time, one more was included, but the footsteps sounded heavier and louder than the others.
"Looks like I have company again. It may very well be her associate." Predaking looked out of the cave as Fluttershy and her friends came to view from the entrance.
But there was a seventh one alongside them. One that was considerably larger than the others. While nowhere his size, the seventh was roughly 3 times their size. Her skin was pure white, not unlike the white curly one. On top of her head was some sort of crown. And on her bottom he noticed a bright round insignia located.
Predaking deduced the larger equine may be some sort of royalty. She might perhaps relate to him.
"I do not remember telling her to invite more than just the clever one. " He had a feeling that if this royal equine is there, she must presumably be there for him.
He noticed the equine looking a little surprised. She turned to her fellow equines. "I do not understand. I've never seen anything alike."
"But this is Predaking Princess Celestia." The purple pony he needed earlier said, or what Fluttershy called her, Twilight Sparkle.
"He doesn't look like anything the Predacons I saw a long time ago."
That statement put Predaking into a shocking state. This royal equine known as Princess Celestia for some reason knows he's a Predacon. Let alone she even knows what Predacons are.
"That's just the other form we told you about Princess Celestia." Fluttershy said. She was also confused by something else. "And what do you mean a long time ago? Isn't it the first time meeting one?"
Fluttershy could see her friends clearing their throats nervously. She could tell they were hiding something from her, but she didn't exactly know what or why.
It was then that Celestia stepped up next to her. "Fluttershy? Please forgive my rashness for not explaining the situation earlier." Celestia's face was turning serious. "But you must listen clearly what I have to explain next."
Fluttershy was ready to listen. However before the princess could even move her mouth, she along with every pony else felt the ground shake multiple times. She turned over to see Predaking stomping over to them, making everyone besides Celestia and Fluttershy back off.
Predaking lowered his head until it reached Celestia's. "You know of my race? You know of my fellow Predacons?"
Alarmed, Celestia was igniting her horn. Though Predaking has never seen it before, right now he couldn't care less. This Celestia knows something valuable, and he intends to find out.
One way or another.
The princess however was glaring back, showing no signs of fear towards him despite being a few feet away from her. "So it was true that you could indeed speak."
"A compliment has of yet to answer my question. How do you know the existence of my race?" Predaking looked at her what others would presume as threateningly.
Fluttershy had a feeling where this could get going. As she was about to fly up and perhaps talk reason with both, Twilight however used her glowing magic horn to drag Fluttershy away.
"Stay back Fluttershy. This might not end well if you interfere." Said Twilight.
"But-" Fluttershy's words were cut short as Twilight pulled her away safely.
The six friends noticed Princess Celestia and Predaking maintaining their glare towards one another.
"You have as of yet to speak up. Answer me how you possess the knowledge of Predacons?!" Predaking nearly roared. His patience was close to it's limit. He wanted the princess to speak her answer, yet she simply stood there, glaring back, and wasting his time.
Finally Celestia broke her silence. "I can indeed feel you're different from the others. You can speak, yet you might in the end be no different than the rest of them."
"Rest of them? Explain now!"
"I'm afraid I can't allow this to happen. I already had trouble with Predacons from the past. And I shall not repeat that history!" The princess shouted back.
That's where Predaking's eye twitched. He could now feel his anger being build up. Not from the fact that the princess nearly ignoring his questions. Not because she somehow had the knowledge of Predacons.
The true reason lied in her attitude. The voice of paranoia involving his race. The determination to reject his kind. And hiding something he does not know of."
Three things that described one being he despised. Megatron.
As he couldn't contain his anger for a second longer, his right arm morphed into a cannon as he aimed towards the princess, who made her horn glow even brighter. The princess' horn, and the king's cannon were aiming towards one another, not letting either out of sight.
"Have at thee!"
That's where they both fired at the same time.

Hi. Yeah I know it's been a very long time since I updated this story. Or any of my stories in general, out of lack of motivation. Thankfully a good friend of mine helped me recover most of it, so let's just make one thing clear.
