Eclipse's Pastromorbo Tale
Awaking
"Ugh, what happened?" I said, got up from what felt like being asleep for years. I looked around and I seemed to be in a small room.
"You guys there?" I asked, hoping to get a response from the voices in my head.
"Eclipse, your OK! We were all so worried, you have been asleep for quite some time." Dark explained to me.
"What's going on?" I asked them once more, hoping they would be able to explain things to me.
"A plague happened. We manged to protect you, but you went into a state of being frozen. We have tried hard to wake you up, but it wasn't successful. We need to get out of here." Shadow explained to me. I was still a bit confused as to what happened, but for now I would listen to them. I got up, but I was still very weak from being asleep for so long.
"How long have I been out for?" I asked them once more.
"For about 100 years. That frozen state was quite powerful, and we were lonely. Anyway, we need to leave. The world is not the same as it once was, so we will need to be careful after leaving this room." They explained to me once more. I took a look around, and saw my cloak on a part of the wall, and Nightbeam on another part. I put my cloak on and grabbed Nightbeam, heading towards the door.
"Why can't I remember anything other then you guys?" I asked them, getting ready to head out.
"Because we only manged to keep part of your memories intact, wasn't easy. Anyway, let's leave and start going back towards our normal life we had before, doing freelance jobs like once before." They explained to me once more. I opened the door and became blinded by the light. I held my hoof over my face before the light cleared up, and I saw nothing like I remembered.
"Welcome to the new world Eclipse. From here on, we can't guide you as much, as we know as much as you do. But we will be here for you." Starglow told me. I looked around, and saw what looked like a small town nearby. The sky looked strange, but I think it was because of the Princess's losing control, so I didn't care about it. I headed towards the town, hoping to make sense of everything. We came up to a town surrounded by walls. I took a look before seeing a pony say something over the wall.
"What do you want?" He asked me, and I wasn't sure what to do.
"Be ready to run Eclipse. The ponies aren't there old weak minded kind self, they are a lot like you now."
"Yea um, I was hoping to get inside?" I asked, trying to sound polite.
"I have a much better idea. You will leave your stuff and leave." He told me. I think I knew how he thought, so I changed my act quickly.
"Nah, I won't do that. Why should I?" I told him once more, hoping to make him feel scared. Too bad it didn't work. The door opened, and they came running at me with weapons. I quickly got a hold of myself, and tried to use my magic, but something was off. I decided the best course of action was to run from them, and I ran and ran until I was out of breath.
"What's going on with my magic?" I asked them.
"Well you have been asleep for 100 years, don't expect it to adjust that quickly."
"Yea, besides, this world isn't the same. You will need to learn to use weapons, as much as you hate them."
"Fine, I guess if it's the only way to defend myself, then I will. So, what's the plan?" I asked them, getting my thoughts in order.
"Well, first, we need to find food and shelter. That is going to be the hard part however." Shadow brought up.
"Do you have a plan?" I asked, hoping they had something in mind.
"Honestly, no. We know as much as you do, and even with our powers, we used more of it to keep you safe from the plague. We are in this together now Eclipse." Dark told me.
"Well then, let's find another town or a place where people are and manipulate them to gain what we need, or steal. After all, that's what we do." Shadow brought up, and I agreed. We waited an hour before heading back to that small town behind walls.
"I am sorry about before, but I have a deal to make with you. It can help the both of us." I told the pony behind the door.
"A deal? What kind of deal do you plan to make for us?" He asked me.
"Work. I can do any job for you, and in return, give me food and a place to stay. Could be any job." I told him, which wasn't a lie.
"Hmm, maybe you could be useful, find. But first, you need to prove yourself." He said before opening the door, which we entered. The door shut behind us, and my new life began in this new world, which wasn't too different from my old life. All I needed to do was survive, and this world is more my type. A place where ponies murder first.
"Hope you are ready Eclipse. Life is going to become difficult now."
"I welcome it. Let them throw what they got at me, we will survive and endure, just like we always do."
Inside the city, we saw many ponies which were both hard to see, seemed even more insane then me, and even something that looked like mutants. They were all armed with different sorts of weapons, and all had a look of hate on their face. So, this is what the world has come to, good. Should be fun.
"So, you say you will do any job?" He begun, before I could react, once more I became surrounded by the stallions, who were on top of me, holding them down.
"Such a young mare like you shouldn't tell such lies. You will be fun to break." He spat at me. I knew what was next, and I wasn't bound to let that happen. My horn finally lit up, and I used my magical blast to knock them off me. I got up and began to run once more, but before I could get far, I got stabbed in one of my legs, knocking me down.
"Your magic is quite good, but not good enough. I'm afraid I'm going to have to kill you now." He said, pointing a staff at my neck. Die? I'm not planning on dying soon.
"Do your worst. I'm not afraid of you." I said spitting at him.
"Ha!" He said, and he stopped pointing it at me. "I like you! You have guts. We will allow you to live, but you will become my bitch, and you will do as I say." He said, having his men pick me up and carry me.
"What the hell did you get into Eclipse?"
"It's part of my plan, just need to wait for my magic to come back to me. Then I will show them." They threw me in a small cage and started to beat me. I finally understood the type of world I was in. The kind of world that thinks like I do. This should be fun. I then passed out in that small cage.
