It wasn't long before the wall went up. The first assault came a lot sooner than we thought. We knew we had to strike at the Equestrian's heart, behind their lines. We created the Spectres to do just that.

The Equestrians have been on Earth for three years now. Conquering South America, Africa, and most of Asia, spreading forced conversion, the USA Strategic Command decides to form an elite squad to strike fear behind enemy lines.

They are known as Spectres, to the humans.

To the Equestrians, they are called something else. Demons, The Night Terrors, or more simply…

Death.

And death comes for the Equestrians.

The other nations at war with the Equestrians (Russia, the European Union) have similar squads, though this story will primarily focus on the American Spectre force.
