//-------------------------------------------------------// Alina and Daisy - Adventures -by Power Hors3- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 1: The Librarian //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 1: The Librarian Ch. 1: The Librarian Alina, a studious young unicorn mare, sat in the large Canterlot library reading books on magic. “Miss Alina, it’s closing time” An older male librarian tells her. “Already? But I just got here!” She demands, flipping a page. “It’s been five hours…look outside” He says. She looks out a window near her, sure enough it was dark outside, “Oh no! I’m going to miss the train back to Ponyville!” She takes her things and zoom out the library. The Librarian shakes his head a bit and chuckles. Alina arrives at the station seconds before the doors start to close, hoping in, she presents her tickets to the ticket checker. He nods in approval, and she heads over to a seat, where she takes her place. Shortly after settling down in her spot, she takes out a book from her bag commencing to read it. “You’re almost always late aren’t you?” A mare sitting next to her asks. Alina turns to her, after reading another line, “Hmm? Yeah” “Why’s that, are you studying in the school of magic?” “I wish! That’d be so awesome.” She faces back to her book. “I always see you with a bunch of books and scrolls” “They’re for personal studying, and the novels are just for fun” Alina smiles, flipping a page. “I see you often here too, you work in Canterlot?” “Sometimes, I do deliveries here, boxes” “Boxes…?” “For packing, storage, and moving hehe; My husband and I run it” “Oh, okay. How’s that going?” “Fairly well, everyone needs them, so I have a pretty good stock; do you need any boxes? Perhaps for your books?” “Thanks, but I usually keep them on shelves, but if I ever need any when moving, I’ll be sure to ask you” Alina smiles. “Perfect, you know, with all that reading you do, you should try to get into a school” “Oh I will, I graduated high school last year, I plan to get into a good university one that has a lot of books!” Alina flips another page. The mare smiles. She rides the rest of the journey home in silence, engaged completely by her book. As the ride come to a stop, the mare next to her pats her a bit, letting Alina know it’s time to get off. Alina goes to her house, a little place near the center of town. It looked nice, having a light yellow wall color. One light was on inside from the kitchen; it was her mother looking through the bills and letters. “Hello there mom, everything good?” Alina asks, she puts her book in her bag. “Yes…” She shifts through some more papers, “I was looking through how much it’d be to get you into a good school…” “Oh mom…” Alina hugs her, “I did really good, my scholarships should be able to cover most if not all the cost” “Yes…you’re right” Mother smiles, “How was your day?” “The usual, spent it mostly reading at the library, how about you and father?” “We went out to buy food after her came home at 5 P.M. I was here most of the day, washing clothes, dishes, and spent some time with the Blackbears.” Alina yawns, “Oh okay, I’m getting the truck fixed tomorrow” “Do you have enough hon?” “Should be, I estimated the costs” Alina starts to head upstairs, “Goodnight mom” “Goodnight sweetie” Mother says, resuming her bill checking. Alina throws her bag in onto her bed, she stretches and goes to the restroom, undressing. She steps into the bathtub, lazily bathing herself. “School, college. I’ll do good, but the school of gifted fillies, that’s for young ponies that have shown to have special abilities in magic…I’m already old. I wish I could go there; the next best thing is a school for grown-ups. That’s okay, if I do my best I’m sure someone will take notice.” She thinks to herself. After her shower, she hops out, drying herself. She puts on a tang-top and some gym shorts, going to her room. She lays in her bed, turning on a side lap next to her and levitating her bag over to her side. Taking out a book, she continues on reading. The next morning, Alina woke up not knowing how long she had stayed up. Her lamp was still on and the book was next to her left shoulder. Looking at the time, 9:15 A.M, she lets out a long yawn, “Uh…g...” She turns off the light that was hurting her eyes and closes her eyes for longer, snuggling in her sheets. “Alina dear, are you ever getting up? Breakfast has been done a half hour ago” Her mom asks from the closed door of Alina’s room. “No…I don’t want to…” Alina frowns placing a pillow on her own head. “Now now, I’m going to re-heat your food, you better be down here in five minutes.” Mothers says, going back downstairs. Alina rolls in bed, taking the pillow of her face. Hesitantly she nearly falls off the bed. Going over to a mirror she looks at her tired eyes; she combs her short hair that was longer in the front than back. It was a mix of purple and a dark to light blue. Alina puts on a skirt and keeps on her tang top, proceeding downstairs. Her mother instantly looks Alina’s clothes. “Alina dear, don’t you think that skirts a little too small for you?”  Mother asks. “Eh, I just randomly picked it out, I’m too lazy to change again” Alina takes a seat. “Okay dear.” She places her meal on the table. Alina teleports her bag onto the table. “Dad’s gone to work today right?” Alina asks. “It’s Saturday dear, no he just went out with a couple of friends” Alina nods, eating up her eggs and waffles, “K mom, I’m going to go now for the truck repair!” She gets up and burps, “Excuse…*burps* me” She swallows the rest of her food. “Goodness Alina, take some time to eat!” “Hehe, no time right now mom! If I arrive at the shop earlier, maybe they’ll fix it faster” Alina says and heads off outside, her books bouncing on her side. She quickly gets in her old flakey red truck that was now more of a faded pink. As she turns it on, it struggles to maintain an idle, shaking the entire truck body. “Piece of shit” Alina says smacking the dashboard. The truck stabilizes suddenly; Alina is in surprise. “Guess no repair shop, might as well go get some new pencils to write!” She squees, driving out of the parkway and going away from the house. She taps her hoof lightly humming along to a random song on the radio. She goes on for a while until her truck starts to choke up, causing a dark cloud of smoke to puff out from the exhaust. The truck stops in the middle of the road, luckily she was on her right lane and could steer it to the side. “Dammit!” She turns on her emergency lights and hops out. She looks around her, there was a repair shop not too far away; she goes there to front counter. “Hey, can you guys repair my truck please?” The stallion at the front desk looks at her oddly, “Uh, well yes. Do you have it with you?” “Yes” Alina teleports her truck to the outside front of the shop. The stallion gets up quickly. “Impressive!” “Yeah I know; it’s pretty broken” Alina says. “No I mean you teleporting it here to that spot” “Oh…hehe” Alina smiles. “So what do you think?” “We’ll have a look at it…is that stallion in the truck with you?” He steps out to look at it. Alina rushes out. “What?? No! Who the hell is that?!” Alina goes to truck the stallion inside stares blankly at her, “This is my truck dammit! Get out!” “Oh uh...it is? I thought it was free since it was on the side of the street” He jumps out and falls, a beer bottle in his left hoof, smashing, “Nooooooooooooooo!”  He cries out. Alina and the stallion watch him as he licks it off the ground and crawl away. After he’s gone, the stallion from the shop checks out the truck, “Hmm, okay we can bring it in. It’s having some minor engine problems and…” He sniffs the air, “I think it needs a change of oil.” “Oh, okay so do I put it in the shop?” “Yeah, sure. The garage door to your right.” “Got it!” Alina teleports it there, causing the workers inside to jump up with surprise. Alina walks over to the hood and pops it open, a mare behind her smiles, going over to her. “What do we have here?” She asks Alina. “It doesn’t work” Alina responds placing the metal rod to hold up the hood. “Well…there’s no engine in the truck…” The mare states. “Oh, must have left it behind!” Alina poofs it onto the roof of the truck, denting it, causing the windows to shatter. “No! Dammit! I thought I had it right!” Alina cries. Some of the workers’ chuckle, “Ha, I’m not fixing that!” Someone says. Others agree, resuming their work. “I’ll do it” The mare says. “Oh okay, I was about to take it to another shop.” Alina says, not really caring of the other workers’ feedback on her truck. “Good job Daisy” The stallion that guided Alina there says, “That’s the kind of spirit Miss Viola likes here at the workplace.” “Heh, thanks Fred. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem, at least, nothing I can’t fix” Daisy smiles. “Very well” Fred turns to Alina, “Well Miss-” “Alina, oh and I have my insurance papers here, and the money, I.D” “Yes of course Miss Alina, I’ll take care of that inside the lobby, if you’ll follow me please” Fred says politely. Alina follows him, Daisy watches her as she goes, snickering to herself. In the lobby Fred attends to Alina’s billing information and other paperwork. After doing that, she returns to the shop where Daisy is struggling to carry the engine off the top of the roof, she nearly slips but Alina catches her with her magic. “Thanks Alina!” Daisy says as she’s being placed onto the ground. “No problem, so how long will it take?” “A few hours” “I need it right now though…I thought it’d get repaired instantly with magic” “What for, you need to be somewhere?” Daisy asks. “Yes, The Canterlot Library” “I could take you there on my break if you’d like” “Hmm, okay what time’s the break at?” “Whenever, just have to checkout” Daisy says. “Nice! Let’s go now! Which car is yours?” Daisy points to a yellow 71 Dodge Challenger. “That one” “The mini-van?” “No the Challenger!” Daisy sighs. “Oh…I don’t like color…” “Just get in” Daisy says, Alina smirks seeing if Daisy got a bit mad. “Hmm looks nice, what’s it made of?” “650 horses baby” “Woah…what…horses!?” Alina looks disgusted. Daisy facehoofs, “Like me times 650.” “Oh…uh, I guess your wings can be pretty strong…” Alina says, still confused. “You mean these?” Daisy spreads them out. Alina looks at them in awe, “y-yeah…those…” “Welp, let’s go” Daisy hops in, Alina stays outside, still in awe. “You getting in Alina?” “Yes…um, oh yeah” Alina giggles, stepping in gasping as she falls into the racing seat. “These are low!” She didn’t notice her seat placement due to being distracted by Daisy. “Yeah, that’s why they’re…racing seats?” Daisy clips on her seat belt and begins to drive. Alina struggles to put on her belt. “How do these things work??” Alina tangles the top and bottom straps. “Like this…” Daisy stops the car, not yet having gone onto the road. She leans over Alina and helps her put the specialized seatbelt on. Alina can’t help but blush as Daisy moves on her. “There done” Daisy looks at Alina, “Something…wrong?” “N-no uh not at all thanks! So, you know where the library is?” “Not the main Canterlot one, never had reason to go there myself” “Oh okay, so just head to the north on the main Canterlot road, it will be on your right eventually.” “Alright Alina, got it.”  Daisy put her hoof down, power sliding. Alina holds onto her belts tightly. “Gah Daisy!” Alina closes her eyes, “Maybe I should’ve gotten a taxi!” “Oops, sorry, forgot. That’s how I usually drive when, um I don’t have company” Daisy snickers, doing it again. “D-Daisy!” Alina nearly pees herself. “Oh fine, hehe” Daisy stabilizes the car. Alina breaths heavily, she holds onto her bag. “You could’ve killed us!” Her eyes are shaking. “Don’t worry, I built this car, I know it’s limits.” “…” Alina says nothing, just sits there, scared. Daisy sighs and continues driving at a normal rate. Within five minutes, they arrive. “Um…thanks for the...ride” “Hey Alina, sorry about…my driving” Daisy says. “It’s…okay. Can you pick me up too?” “Sure thing, what time do you want me to?” “6 P.M.” “Hey, that actually works, it’s the time I get out from work” “Perfect” Alina smiles, giving her a quick hug. “Bye!” “B-Bye...!” Daisy says, a little delayed. Alina runs up the library’s steps, Daisy gets a strange feeling as she watches her go off. “Hu? Oh well, back to work…” Daisy says, driving off. End of Chapter 1. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 2: Mechanic //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 2: Mechanic Ch. 2 – Mechanic. The time flew for Alina at the library, she had checked out so many books that it was impossible to read them all in one sitting. The time was approaching 6 o’clock, without her realizing it. Daisy, as promised, gets out of work going on route to pick her up. As she pulls up to the library, she could see Alina through the window reading and a mare next to her tell her something. Alina nods, getting her stuff and walking out of the library. “Forgot about the time?” Daisy asks Alina as she hops into the car. “Kinda” She struggles to place the bag of book by her legs. “That’s…a lot of book. What do you need them for?” Daisy asks as Alina closes the door; Daisy starts to drive. “To study of course, have you ever wondered how Twilight became a Princess?” “You want to become a Princess?” “No, but I thrive to be that smart, she must know so many good spell…I can only imagine…” Alina holds one of the books to her chest. Daisy chuckles a little, “Okay Princess Alina” She playfully mocks. Alina smiles, “How’d the repairing go?” “I fixed the engine, but the truck’s body needs the parts to come in for it.” “How long will that take?” “Maybe a week, but I have a quicker option” Daisy states. “Oh? What would that be?” “As it so happens, I have the same truck model at my place. I don’t use it since I have this beauty” Daisy pats the steering wheel of her car. “I could use it for the part for yours” “Oh Daisy you don’t have to don’t have to do that…” Alina says shyly. “You’re right, never mind” Daisy sticks out her tongue. “Wait what?” Alina says in surprised tone. “I’m kidding hehe, we’ll go there right now if that’s okay with you.” Daisy suggest. “To your house?” “Mhm, that’s where my truck is.” “And what about mine?” “It’s in the shop…maybe we should go get that, the janitors should be cleaning up the office area, so I should be able to get in. If not Manager Viola is there till 8 P.M. We’ll go get a truck with a trailer to pull your truck to my house” Daisy says, turning the car at a U-turn, drifting a little causing Alina to hold onto her books and seatbelt. “Goodness!” Alina shouts. “Oops, that wasn’t on purpose, my bad” Daisy smirks, Alina sighs relaxing herself. “The truck now runs; it just looks like crap” “Yeah…my fault. How much will that cost by the way?” Alina asks. “Dunno yet” “I have to know the cost to see if I can afford the body change.” “I thought Fred took care of that?” Daisy questions. “That was just or the engine…” “Hmm, okay well the body repair isn’t part of my company work…so I could do it for free.” Daisy suggest, she has a friendly smile. “R-really?” Alina was in near disbelief. “Hmm, wait, what do you work in?” “Nothing right now, but I can write a lot, and have an alright understanding of magic.” Alina chuckles and sighs. “I’d hate to charge you for it…how about a future favor?” “Deal, but nothing extreme.” Alina smiles a bit, feeling better about her situation. “Alright” Daisy says, she drives towards a less densely populated part of Ponyville, where the building of the town started to fade and the places started to blend into a more outer suburban area. She pulls up to a decently sized two-story house complete with a high ceiling garage that has space for two cars and a backyard. “You live here with someone?” “Nope, just me. I’m pretty independent and my job pays me well” Daisy answers, clicking a button than opens the garage, she parks inside. Turning off the vehicle, she goes to the door leading inside; she notices Alina still in the car, having troubles with her books, “Let me help” Daisy goes over, holding some her books. “Thanks, where’s the truck?” “Backyard, I don’t use it much at all, come in, have you eaten?” She asks. Going inside. Alina follows from behind, levitating many of the books in a stack, “Not since this morning.” “Woah, it’s been hours. Here, I’ll make something really quick” Daisy sets the books down on a small table, going to prepare something before Alina had a chance to deny. “Oh uh okay.” Alina sits on the couch, taking a book out. Daisy turns on the stove, starting to boil some potatoes to later mash them. As Daisy finishes boiling the potatoes and places them in a bowl to mash, she takes notice of Alina slowly falling asleep while still reading. “She reads too much” Daisy smiles a bit; Alina keels over on the couch, snoring softly. Daisy had finished making the food and had eaten by the time Alina opened her eyes, she lifts her head up looking around in mild confusion. “Daisy’s house…” She didn’t see Daisy anywhere in sight. There was however, a note on the table that Alina went over to read, it read; “Alina, I went to go haul over your truck to my place, it shouldn’t take too long. Also I left the food for you on the stove, hope it’s still warm.” “I must’ve been out for quite a while…” Alina comments, looking as the outside was changing into nighttime. She goes over to the mashed potatoes, there was a variety of items Daisy had left out for Alina to put on them. “Mm, cheese, butter, salad!” She says mixing it together, she searches the kitchen for some sort of chips to use as a dipping tool for the potatoes. She looks through many cabinets. “Where are those chips? Does she even have any?” Alina opens the fridge noticing it lacks some basic foods. “We’re going to go shopping when she’s back…” She closes it and sits at the table, eating. Noticing a few papers on the table, she curiously picks them up; overdue bills. Her ears perk up when she hears noise coming from the garage, distracting her from the bills. Taking another bite of food, she sneaks over to the door dividing the garage from the house. Putting an ear at the door she hears a drill and some music. She opens the door seeing as her truck’s body parts are being removed by Daisy. Daisy stops, turning around, “Alina, you’re up” “When did you come back?” Alina walks towards her. “About 40 minutes ago, have you eaten?” “Mostly, about that though. We need to go to the store” “We do?” Daisy removes a part. “Yes! You have no food!” Alina argues. “Hey there, calm, yeah I guess I don’t. I can do that later, unless you really feel like going now” “Oops, never mind, you appear to be busy…shall I go back inside?” Alina shyly asks. “You’re okay here, you can go back in if you’d like. What time do you want me to take you home?” Alina thinks a bit, “Whenever is fine with me” She moves to where Daisy is working, “Anyway I could help?” “Some water would be nice; do you know anything about cars?” “I know how to finance one, or lower a loan on it, what gas it takes. Oh and how to drive one!” Alina grins. “How about repairing one?” “I know how to change the oil and tires…” “That’s basic stuff, any more in-depth things?” Daisy asks. Alina shakes her head slowly, “I can show you on your truck how to remove these parts” Daisy moves around her getting a different sized wrench. “Maybe a book on it would serve me well…” “This kinda stuff takes hooves-on experience.” Daisy unbolts a nut, placing it carefully on a magnetic plate. “And since you’re a unicorn, this sort of things may be easier for you than me” Alina moves to see at a better angle to watch her unbolt. Daisy was good at her craft, usually maintaining a cool status as she worked, but Alina watching her caused her to become nervous, even sweat a little. “C-can you go get that water I asked for?” Daisy asks, wiping off the sweat off her brow. “Oh yeah! Of course” Alina giggles, leaving immediately. Daisy watches her go, takes a deep breath and resumes working. Alina searches for the water bottles, “I wonder if she would mind if it’s just tap water” She look in the cabinets for cups, as she looks, she sees a cabinet above the fridge, “Hmm maybe there?” She opens it just as Daisy steps in; Daisy dashes to close that cabinet. “N-not that one!” Daisy says, blushing and with great defensiveness. “Uh…okay? What’s in there?” Alina was now curious. “My...uh, nothing! Just some er…b-batteries!” She moves away from it, “The cups are in the dishwasher...hehe…” “Got it, sorry I couldn’t find it in time to serve you some” Alina lifts a cup and fills it up. “It’s okay, I was just about to go on break anyways” Daisy smirks, “So those books, what are they about?” “Spells, I just need to practice some more” “Like teleporting that engine?” Daisy laughs. “Yeah…I thought I had it down, guess I was going too far…I mean I had just teleported the whole truck! What was I thinking…?” “It was amazing…” “But I crushed the roof of the truck…” “Yes, but you actually teleported it all, that’s really fascinating…” Daisy smiles at Alina. Alina blushes a bit, “Thank you…you’re a good mechanic too…” “I’m not done yet” Daisy chuckles, “I can guarantee top quality, want to go on home now?” “Oh yeah, um…” Alina thinks, “Yes…if it’s not too much trouble” “Nah, I said I could before. Heh, let’s go” Daisy drinks the water quickly and goes back into the garage, getting in the car and turning it on. Alina hops in after her, bag and books on her lap. “I live in the middle of town; I’ll give you the address: 6282 Wooden Lane.” “In the center of town hu? I prefer it out here” “It’s with my parents” Alina adds. “Ah okay, how…old are you? If you don’t mind me asking?” “Nineteen. Heh, how about you?” “I’m twenty heh, one year older.” “Depends on the month, I’m from August, the 2nd” “Really? Wow I’m May the 5th! So we’re like four months apart” Daisy smiles, Alina giggles. The driver opens the garage with a remote control and backs up into the parkway, then onto the road. “I won’t go to wild hehe” Daisy drives onto the main road. End of Chapter 2. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 3: The Ride Home //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 3: The Ride Home Ch 3: The Ride Home Daisy was driving on the road, the time was now approaching 9 P.M. Alina, was looking into her book, but was occasionally looking up to look at Daisy. She couldn’t tell whether it was because she was nervous that she’d suddenly step on the petal or something else… Daisy glances at Alina’s seeing that she had looked at her, “Uh what’s up?” “N-nothing just making sure you don’t speed up and cause my books to fly everywhere” Alina chuckles. “I said I wouldn’t…but now I’m very tempted hehe…” Daisy smiles, turning her attention back to the road. “Right, now I’m nervous…” Alina smirks jokingly. Daisy speeds up just 5mph more. Alina feels the difference, “Hmm…” She says, as if letting Daisy know that she knew. Daisy slows back down. “These spells…do you know any cool ones?” Daisy asks. “Cool ones….?” Alina smiles. Her horn glows; the road in front of Daisy turns into ice. Daisy suddenly panics, she was going 60 mph the sudden change of surface causes her to lose slight control, she was still able to somewhat keep it straight, another car shines it light from the other lane, that car was spinning around so Daisy jams the car into reverse and puts her hoof down causing the fat back wheels to spin back just in time to pull the car away from the other one. Daisy’s car spins, the front tires catch dirt first causing the car to whip around until the back tires get caught up in the dirt; the momentum causes the Challenger to roll onto its roof. After it comes to a halt Alina was hyperventilating, tears streaming down from her eyes, “I-I’m so sorry!” Daisy was steaming mad, her car, her custom built car was now on its roof top! What came next would be the accident report and insurance! What was Daisy supposed to say about that? That her ‘friend’ froze the road ahead of them? The insurance company wasn’t going to cover that! She looks angrily at Alina, “What the FUCK where you thinking!??” Alina doesn’t say another word; she was trembling with fright. Daisy, realizes Alina was traumatized, if a simple power slide got her riled up, she could only imagine what this was doing to her. “Alina…let’s just…get out of the car.” Alina doesn’t move. Daisy pinches the two buttons on the side of the buckle and twist it to the right; the straps all unbuckle at same time. She then crawls out and goes to her side. Suddenly the car flips back over right side up, due to Alina’s magic, Daisy opens the door, luckily roll cage had worked, not crushing the inside; Alina looks at Daisy with scared eyes. “L-let’s get out of here…” Alina tells Daisy; the road had been normalized back to its regular surface. Daisy looks at Alina, “I’ll be back!” She takes off without another word. Alina watches as she flies into the air. “Wait wait!” Alina shouts out, but Daisy was too focused on where she was going to pay attention to her. Alina fidgets with the buckle, eventually slipping out the seat belt. She then opens the door, crawling out not knowing what else to do, so she sits by the car eyes wide with terror. Twenty minutes’ pass, Daisy retunes with the truck and trailer; she saw that Alina was by the wrecked car, looking off into the night sky. “Alina! I’m here” She approaches the mare. “Alina!” “Y-yes…?” Alina turns to her. “Get in the truck and wait for me” “Okay…” Alina stands up and wobbles to the truck. Daisy sighs a little, she was mad yet felt empathy towards Alina. Daisy grabs the winch off the trailer, fastening it to the hook on the front of the car. After securing it, she comes in the running truck and looks at Alina who was randomly staring out the window. “Are you…okay?” Daisy says, her voice was a mixture of angriness and compassion. “uh….hu….” Alina says, still staring out the window. “I’m taking us back to my place” “…Okay” Alina doesn’t give another alternative, right now her mind was still in a frenzy, she was contemplating life. Daisy nods and drives the truck away. After another 25 minutes, they reach Daisy’s house. Daisy parks the trailer next to the garage door and hops out, “Come in the house Alina” Alina, zombie-like, gets up and follows her into the house, taking a seat on the couch. “Can I get you anything?” Alina nods, “Water…” Daisy flies over to the sink and fills a cup up for her, “Here you go” “Thanks. I’ll sleep here then?” “Yeah, unless you want my bed?” Daisy suggest, Alina gets up no saying yes or no and searches for her room. “It’s upstairs first door” Alina gets in and closes the door, “Uh, okay guess you’re taking the bed” Daisy hops onto the couch and closes her eyes. Over the night, Daisy could hear some strange noises coming from upstairs. “What is that mare up to…?” Daisy places a pillow on her head. As more time in the night passed by, Daisy slept. Alina had awakened and creeped downstairs she had gotten over the accident’s experience and was now thirsty. “Cups…in the top drawer on the fridge?” Alina couldn’t remember, she glowed her horn to see ahead of her. She starts opening the cabinet, she found not cups, but cylinder like objects and batteries. Alina’s sleepy eyes couldn’t tell what they were so she took one thinking it was a cup. Going to the sink the washes the object and heads back upstairs. Daisy’s ears perk up, she goes to the running sink and turns it off. “I don’t remember leaving this running…” Daisy sees a light upstairs and shrugs, going back to sleep. Several hours later, Daisy wakes up to the screams of Alina, “WHAT IS THIS!?” Daisy gets up quickly and flies upstairs. The door was locked. “Alina! Open up! What’s wrong??” She hears some movement inside; the Alina opens the door. “S-sorry, just a um, bad dream? Yeah bad dream hehe, you can go back to sleep now” Alina says with a false chuckle. Daisy looks at her unsure, “Is that really all? Wait, did you leave the faucet running?” “The faucet…yeah I think I did, sorry I was getting something to drink, I must’ve left it running.” Alina says, she slightly looks out the window, the sun was just barely starting to come out. Alina yawns and nuzzles on Daisy’s pillow. “I’m going back to sleep if you don’t mind” Daisy looks at her for a second, “Oh so it was a scary dream, will you be okay, or do you…want company?” “Nah, it’ll be okay heh” Alina rubs her snout on the warm pillow, and closes her eyes. “I’ll be down here if you need me, but I’m going out to work at 8, so if you wake up late, I may be gone” Daisy states, starting to leave the room. She peers over as Alina nods and hugs the pillow. Smiling, she goes back down the stairs laying back on the couch. “Phew, that was close…” Alina takes a deep breath; she closes the window blinds and looks at the time, 5 A.M. exactly. Yawning she places the bed sheets over herself and gets warmed up. Before she started falling asleep, she could smell the scent of Daisy on the pillows and all around her; she liked it. Eight A.M. came around with Daisy opening her eyes. She did not need an alarm to wake her up, but still had one upstairs which blared out shocking Alina to awareness. “Gah! Make it stop!” Alina yells out, she covers her head with a pillow. Daisy zooms upstairs and comes in, Alina had left the door open. “Don’t worry, it’s just this button right here” Daisy presses a yellow button that shut it off. “Thanks…” Alina says from under the pillow; she was on her belly’s side; the covers were on the floor. Daisy giggles and puts them over her gently, “Thanks again…are you leaving?” “Mhm, you want to come, or stay here?” Daisy asks the lazy pony. “I want to go…but I’m tired.” Alina replies from under the pillow. “Alright, I’m going to go then, there’s a bus stop about a mile south of here if you want to leave somewhere” Daisy trots out. “Wait!” Alina says suddenly, “There’s still no food in your house” “We can get some later, right now I have to go. If you’re hungry…um, there must be something! See ya!” Daisy rushes into the garage into the only truck that was still function. She looks sadly at her wrecked car and leaves the house. Meanwhile, though still tired, Alina gets up and picks up the object she had mistakenly taken the night before, “Who knew Daisy needed this” She giggles and goes down to the kitchen, placing it carefully back in its spot. “Food…” Her stomach growls, she opens up other cabinets, finding soups and ravioli. “Oh yeah! Perfect!” She takes a can out props it open to the familiar saucy scent of Boyardee. She pours it into a bowl, heating it up for three minutes. “Ding!” The microwave sounds off that the meal is ready. “Yes!” She starts to eat her wonderfully cheap, but tasty meal. After those brief moments of joyful eating, she looks in the fridge finding only one beer left. Alina shrugs and takes it, and drinks it. Almost at an instant, Alina loses it, her body was weak against any sort of alcohol. She looks at the bottle and chugs down half of it. “Mm, so yummy!” Daisy unlock the door and walks in. “Hey Alina, just forgot my uniform and…is that my last beer??” Daisy looks at the silly mare who was acting strange and off balance. “Hey! You smell...sooo good!” Alina squees and comes up to her. “Uh…” Daisy starts. Alina looks her in the eyes, “And pretty wings…” Daisy blushes, “Thanks?” She was about to say something else, but not before Alina plants a kiss on her soft lips. Daisy’s eyes widen, she didn’t know whether to back off, puch her away, or enjoy the kiss. Lucky for Daisy, Alina backs away before she had a chance to decide. “Hey, you liked that didn’t you?” Alina asks. “Only half a bottle made you do that..?” Daisy picks takes the bottle away from Alina. “You really have a low tolerance” Daisy chuckles a bit. She notices Alina was looking both at the bottle and at her. “Why don’t you go lay down?” “Why don’t you give me another kissy?” Alina smiles and starts approaching her again. “I-I have to go to work Alina...” Daisy says shyly. “Then…skip work…” Alina stokes Daisy’s mane, causing her to blush. Daisy nearly couldn’t help herself, but resisted, “I’m taking you back to the couch. Um, don’t move from that spot” Daisy pushes her towards the couch. “No, I don’t wanta!” Alina giggles staying in place, she sits down and turns her head. “Oh come on Alina, it’s right there” Daisy reasons. “Okay, but I want you on there with me…” Alina says, going to the couch. “I’m already late to work Alina...” Daisy sits next to her, she was becoming very nervous. “Okay, go to work then!” Alina pushes her off without notice. “Hey! What was that for??” “You think I’m ugly…” Alina starts. “I never said that even once Alina...” Daisy stands up, “I think you’re…you are…” “Yes…?” Alina says, with an overly emotional tone. “You are beautiful…okay…I have to go to work now…” Daisy faces Alina briefly and smiles, “Behave yourself, and no more alcohol.” Daisy goes upstairs, changes, and looks at Alina, who sat there in mild confusion, she looks at the bottle. “Hmm no more? But there’s still half a bottle left!” She levitates it over to herself. Daisy quickly snatches it away, drinking the remains, “Uh uh no more left” Alina frowns and sticks out her tongue. “Meanie!” “Mhm, bye bye” Daisy leaves the house. Alina stares at the door, “I wonder what clothes she has…” She rushes upstairs, diving into Daisy’s closet, going through mostly larger clothes and some seemingly old uniforms “This one looks sooo cute!” She grabs an outfit, smelling it, “Mm!” She strips off her own clothes and puts on Daisy’s. “It doesn’t fit though” She looks at the bagginess of her current clothing. She slips it off, “She must have something that fits me!” She continues her search trying to find the perfect one. By the time she finds something comfortable, most of the clothes were trashed out, laying all over Daisy’s room. Alina falls asleep on her clothes and sleeps in the pile of clothes, she buries herself under them and snores. Hours later she wakes up to the ringing of a house phone in Daisy’s room, “What...is it now?” Alina was now back to her sober self, she picks up, “Hello, Daisy’s house?” “It’s Daisy silly, are you feeling better?” “Yeah…” She looks around the trashed room, “Yes…” “Good, I’m going to go on break in a thirty minutes, I was planning on coming back home and picking you up for lunch” “Lunch! Um, yeah! I’m pretty full hehe” Alina starts hassling around, picking up. “You sure? I thought you said there was no food in my house?” “I ate ravioli!” “You did?? That ravioli is from before Celestia became our ruler!” “What??” “No, it’s not, but it’s probably overdue” “Oh…shit...” Alina hangs up and rushes to the restroom looking for something that would help her stomach calm down. She suddenly cramps a bit, falling on the floor, “This is not good…” A few minutes later it passes and she gets up, resuming her cleaning. As she whistles and cleans, a sudden surge of vomit comes out through mouth onto the clothes. “Uh…uh…” Alina looks at it with disgust. “Daisy’s gonna kill me…” She cleans it up the best she can and carries the clothes to the washer. She looks around Daisy’s house; it was actually not it such a clean state. “Maybe I should just clean her house, it’s the least I can do after all I’ve done” Alina instantly starts to clean up everything she could with her magic, throws out the trash, cleans the toilet, the showers, the blind’s dust, all the laundry, washes the dishes, and puts new covers on Daisy’s bed. “Phew…that’s the last thing…” She says as she places the clothes into the closet into a neat stack. The phone rings again. “Yes Daisy?” Alina answers. “This isn’t Daisy, it’s the rent manager of this neighborhood.” A male voice says, “Who are you?” “I’m a friend of Daisy’s” Alina says. “Well, tell Miss Daisy Dodge that her payments are overdue by two months. If she doesn’t pay by tomorrow, I’ll have no choice but to order a withdraw from her for the property. Along with sending in ponies to get her stuff out and credit loss in the bank!” He says in an angry tone. “Oh…okay, I’ll let her know” Alina hangs up and sits down, she recalls seeing the bills on the table. “I have to do something about that…” End of Chapter 3. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 4: Lunch //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 4: Lunch Ch. 4: Lunch Alina sits on the kitchen table, looking through the bills, “If I can find out her social number, I could call and pay off these things for her” She starts by searching through the closet, then the cabinets, then the bed. “Yes, a suit case right here with all her information.” She goes through her passport and finds the document that had her social security number and banking information. “I shouldn’t be doing this without her permission…but...” She sighs and dials the bank. “Yes, this is Equestria Union Bank, how may I help you?” A mare asks. “This is Daisy Dodge, I wanted to pay off some overdue bills.” Alina says. “Last digits of your social please” “8812” Alina reads off. “Perfect, okay Miss Dodge, would you like us to check you balance while we’re at it?” “Yes ma’am” “Alright, you have 10,031.51 in savings, 5500.54 in checkings. The bill you have marked for would take about 3000 bits off your checkings. Would you like to run the transaction to pay it off?” She asks Alina. “…Yes” Alina says. She hears some typing. “Alright Miss Dodge, bills paid, anything else I can do for you today?” “No thanks.” “Have you heard of our new offers on the Black Card, it’ll add points each time you make a purchase over $50 for a gift card, or member benefits. No contract required.” “Um…no thanks” Alina says, “Have a good day” “You too Miss Dodge, thank you for your business” She hangs up. Alina stares blankly at the phone. “She’s going to kill me…she’s going to kill me…” Alina frowns at herself and puts the things away. She then steps downstairs, with her books and begins to read to take her mind off things. She read for about ten minutes until the phone upstairs rang again. Quickly, she runs up and answers, “Daisy’s House…” “Hello again Alina, just wanted to let you know I’m on my way there to pick you up. Heh, I thought you would’ve left the house by now” “Yeah…okay, I’ll be ready when you’re here. Hope you don’t mind if I wear some of your clothes” “If you find something that fits you, go ahead, see you in a few” Daisy hangs up. Alina rushes to find something to wear, she then notices that she is already wearing something of Daisy’s. “Oh…? When did I put this on?” Alina wonders. Peering out the window, she awaits the return of Daisy. Within a couple of minutes, Daisy arrives outside, honking. Alina teleports herself outside and gets into the truck with her books, “Where to?” “I was thinking of going to Las Gallopers. It’s supposed to be good there. Either way, I’m hungry.” Daisy smiles. “I’ve never heard of that place, is it expensive?” Alina asks. “It might be…why? I can pay for you” “Daisy, you’ve done enough, putting up with me.” Alina says. “True, you are a handful hehe. Don’t worry about it Alina, you’re a good pony” Daisy says. “I feel really bad about the challenger…I know I can’t repay for the damage that I caused it…” Alina starts. “Shh it’s okay, I like repairing and putting together cars, so fixing mine will be fun.” Daisy says with a grin, though deep inside she did still feel bad about it. “O-okay, so this place, what kind of food do they have?” “I hear it’s like a buffet styled place. So I guess anything” Daisy chuckles. She steps a little more on the petal going ten mph more than the limit. Alina doesn’t comment about it, after all, she was already paying for lunch, had let her stay the night, and she had gotten drunk, thrown up, wrecked her car, then paid her bills without permission. “Sounds good hehe…” Alina looks out the window. “Are you home sick or just feeling hungover?” Daisy glances over at her. “I feel…fine” Daisy shakes her head, “Nah, something’s up. You’re not a good liar Alina” “Okay…I um..know you’re going to get mad, but I sorta…paid your overdue bill for you…” Alina says shyly. Daisy slows back down to the limit. “You did? How on Equestria did you do that??” Daisy didn’t sound mad, more of a confused tone. “Well…I got into your brief case under the bed and called you bank and paid for it on your account…” Alina says, looking down, “The thing is…the rent company gave a call to your house and threatened to kick you out tomorrow…so I just had to take care of it before something happened to you…” “Oh Alina…I’ve always been bad at keeping track of those type of things. Thanks for doing that…although, you should have just called me about it before getting into my personal files.” “Yeah…sorry, I was thinking too much in the moment that I didn’t consider it…I’m a bad pony…can you just drop me off at my house? I got my books with me...” Daisy looks at her and stops at a red light, “Alina, yeah you’ve done a lot of things to screw up. I’ll admit that’s true, but you’ve put in effort to fix things too.” Alina looks away, “Plus I can’t drop you off back at home” “Why not…?” “Because you still owe me a favor, and that favor can be having lunch with me” Daisy smiles. Alina turns to her. “You’d want that after everything…?” Alina asks, “Like a…date?” “Oh a date, perfect” Daisy winks, “You can be my date to lunch today.” Alina blushes a bit, “You don’t look half bad in my clothes” “I-it’s a little loose” Alina giggles. “That’s the way my clothes its supposed to be…Although, you do look cute in that skirt you had…” Daisy smirks, making Alina blush more. “Okay now you’re just flirting with me aren’t you?” Alina asks with a little laugh. “Didn’t have to read that one in a book to tell did ya?” “Hush you hehe” Alina scoots a little closer to Daisy. Daisy notices, “What’s this?” Alina rest her head on her shoulder causing Daisy to feel a sudden rush through her body, “I um…okay, just don’t go sleep okay?” She pretends not to like it. “You said a date, I’ll give you the date experience” Alina rubs her head on her gently, “You smell like car stuff hehe, you sure you want to go eat like that?” “I don’t mind the smell, plus I have to go back to work afterwards” Daisy tells her as she pulls up to the restaurant. They get off, Alina stays at Daisy’s side. A stallion at the counter looks at them, “Welcome to Las Gallops. Will it be a table for two?” “Yes, and include drinks.” Daisy says, taking out the money needed. The stallion takes the money, handing them the receipt. “Table 6, it’ll be to you left ladies.” He says. Alina goes on ahead of Daisy and scoots into the table. “This place looks really nice, so we just go get food now?” Alina asks Daisy. “Yep” She places the receipt on the table and goes to get food; Alina does the same. There was a variety of salads, pastas, green foods, stir fries, and small delicacies. After settling in, they begin to eat, at least Alina does. Daisy was looking at Alina as she puts food in her mouth. “So Alina…you enjoying the food?” “Mhm” Alina isn’t paying too much attention to her, the food really did taste wonderful, “You should eat some, how long is your break?” “As long as I want it to be…” Daisy keeps looking at her. “I think it’s about an hour right?” Alina asks as she stuffs her face with carrots. “Y-yeah, you know they have drinks here, I’ll go get some” Daisy gets up and goes. “Don’t get anything too strong okay?” Alina shouts out, she then takes out a book to read while she eats. “Ooh! Here it is, the part on advance teleporting!” She continues to read, not noticing Daisy come back with the drinks. “Here you go Alina” Daisy passes it to her. Alina starts to drink it, still reading. Daisy gives it sometime but sees that the alcohol is taking no effect. “Eat something Daisy” Alina looks up from the book. Daisy nods, starting to eat. “You um, feeling okay?” “Yep just reading up on teleportation” Alina finishes the drink, “That one was good, Raspberry coco flavor?” “Oh uh yeah, want some more?” Daisy asks. Alina slowly nods, resuming her reading. Daisy quickly goes to the bar counter. “Excuse me sir.” “Yes?” The tender asks. “What’s your strongest drink?” She asks. “A Sangria” He says, “Want it?” “Yes, two please.” Daisy says, showing him her I.D. He nods, and speedily serves them for her. She flies to Daisy. “Here you go, it’s a different flavor, I hope you like it.” Alina takes it, “Thankies” She starts to drink it, Daisy watches. “Are you waiting for something? It tastes alright, a little sweet though” Daisy frowns, “Well okay” She eats her own food. Alina stops reading. “I like this place, we should totally eat here again. I’m going to go get dessert” Alina goes. Daisy looks at the beverages. “Hmm okay, that’s odd. Maybe she only gets that way with cheap drinks?” She wonders as she eats. “Maybe I spent too much coming here…” Daisy chuckles to herself. She watches as Alina picks up a lot of cheesecake and carrot cake. Alina comes back with a stack of pastries, “Mm, want some?” She stuffs her face with cheesecake. “Yummy!” “Slow down there Alina hehe. Studying magic, so are you getting into a good school for that you said?” “I sure hope so, how about you?” “I’m comfortable with my current state. I could do this forever.” Daisy drinks her beverage, starting to feel some effects of the alcohol, “Forever…” She smiles, looking at Alina. “Forever hu? Staying behind on bills and not having enough food at home isn’t a good thing” Alina states, eating another piece. “But you’re a good thing…” Daisy giggles. Alina turns her head a bit. “It’s almost time for you to go to work, want any last minute things?” “Can I have..uh y…” “Yellow starred flower cake?” Alina passes her a piece. Daisy looks at it then back at Alina, “Um, yeah okay. I’ll eat this and we’ll go” Daisy consumes it then gets up, walking a bit off. “Want me to drive?” Alina holds her still. “I guess…” Daisy gives her the keys. Alina takes them and gets in the truck. She waits for Daisy to climb aboard, buckle up, then leaves. End of Chapter 4. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 5: A Home Meal //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 5: A Home Meal Ch. 5: A Home Meal “Okay…take me to work!” Daisy protest to Alina, the driver. “I don’t think you should go in like this…” Alina says with concern. She drives past her job. “You missed it Alina!” Daisy says aloud. “Hey no need to shout.” Alina drives on. “No…I want to go back to work...”  Daisy moves around. Alina tries keeping her still. “Daisy please, I’m driving” “Yeah so…?” Daisy leans in, kissing her cheek. “Not while I’m driving, I’ll have to call in for you. What your work’s number?” “It’s uh…2…2…” Daisy kisses Alina again. Alina pushes her away with her magic, “You know, I’m lucky I didn’t get wasted…I casted a spell to reduce the amount in my drinks. Now I see I should’ve done the same for you” “You can do the same to me...give me a kissy” Daisy tries getting closer to Alina, but is held back by Alina’s magic. Through a lot struggle, Alina manages to get home and carry out the drunken Daisy. “The tables have turned” Alina smiles, placing Daisy on the couch. She twists and turns and jumps onto Alina like a wild beast. “Daisy get off!” Alina tries to move, but Daisy’s hold on her was too strong. “I don’t want to…” Daisy lays on Alina’s chest. Alina was having a couple feelings come to her at once. One, she wanted her off and two, she really liked it. “It’s the first date…” Alina stares at her. “Yeah?” Daisy rubs up on her face, licking it. “Oh…Daisy…” Alina giggles. “I thought you’d like that…” Daisy smirks, putting her mouth on one of Alina’s delicate ears. Slowly, she noms it soaking it. Alina squirms a bit at the new exotic feeling that she did not want to leave, “W-what are you doing…?” “I’m giving you the experience you want Alina…” She keeps doing so, gradually moving up upon her body. Alina closes her eyes; her body was enjoying this too much. “Maybe I should’ve taken you to work…” Alina says slowly. Daisy stops nomming her ear and kisses her lips. Alina starts to kiss back as Daisy’s tongue begins to go into Alina’s moist mouth. “If you took me to work…then you wouldn’t be enjoying this now would you…?” Daisy says. Alina laughs softly, liking her resting there. “You're so warm Daisy...you make me feel comfortable…” Daisy giggles, “Want me to continue…?” “I didn’t say stop did I…?” Alina kisses Daisy passionately; daisy can’t help but to blush, helping her out. They continue making out for a long period of time, before they stop, they were both panting and huffing, a line of saliva connected their mouths as they separate. Staring at each other, Daisy nuzzles Alina gently, “It was a lot of work see?” “Work…yeah…I should call your boss...” Alina starts to get up, but Daisy pulls her back down. “Mm…no baby I want you to stay right here…” Daisy holds her, snuggling Alina. They both hug. “Does this mean my favor for you is done?” Alina asks, kissing her mouth once more. “Hehe…yes” Daisy giggles, “It was worth it too.” “And I enjoyed it very much…I never thought I’d like it with another mare…” Alina blushes a bit. “I…didn’t either, but with you…I wanted you so badly…” Daisy admits. Alina nuzzles under her neck. “Thanks Daisy…” She closes her eyes falling asleep on her. Carefully, Daisy stokes her mane as she sleeps, eventually she herself dozes off. Hours later Daisy wakes up to find a warm piece missing from her; Alina was gone. “Alina?” She gets up looking for her. As she looks around, she notices her house was clean, more than the usual. “What happened here?” She enters her room, her clothes had been washed, the covers were changed, even the carpet had bed vacuumed. She puts on a new pair of clean clothes. Going onto her bed she finds a little note from Alina and reads it aloud: “Daisy, thank you for the wonderful time we spent together today. I am going back home now in order to notify my parents where I’ve been these couple of days. I called your boss to let them know you were…sick. Also…I feel bad for everything I’ve done. Everything…I shouldn’t have let my urges get the best of me. That being said, if you don’t want to repair my truck anymore, I understand, just drop it off back at the repair shop.” Daisy was in tears. “She still feels bad…” She goes around the cleaned house and frowns, “I have to get her back, make her understand that it’s all okay. I’ll repair her truck and bring it to her.” She says with determination. Rushing into the garage, she gets the trailer out of the place, removing the remaining broken pieces of the body, she places her own truck’s pieces on it, fastening them onto place. It takes about one hour and a half to do. “Done…” Daisy huffs, wiping the sweat from her brow, it was 6:30 P.M. now. Before leaving to Alina’s, Daisy showers. Making sure everything is in place, she hops onto Alina’s truck and goes on route to her house. “What was her address? 62….82 Woo...den Lane? Wooden Lane. Yes! That’s the one!” Daisy heads to that house’s spot. Stepping off the truck, the time was now 7:15. Nervously, she steps up onto the door steps, ringing the bell. A mare (Alina’s mother) opens the door, “Yes, may I help you?” “Does Alina live here? I’m the mechanic that repaired her truck, I drove it over here.” Daisy says. “Alina’s not home at the moment, she went off to eat somewhere.” “Do you know where…?” Daisy asks. “Probably a café near here, you can leave the truck here. Is there any paperwork?” She asks. “No, thanks ma’am” Daisy gives her the keys and walks away. Daisy hadn’t thought of how she was going to get home, but searching for Alina was her first priority. Alina was in a café, like her mother said she was; reading and contemplating what she had done. Was Daisy mad at her? She didn’t seem like she had been, but she wasn’t sure. They had had a good time; well good time didn’t even begin to describe the feelings Alina had felt. She accidently drools onto a page, thinking of it all. “Alina?” Daisy says walking up to her in the shop. “Daisy! What are you doing here??” Alina stands up with surprise. “I was looking for you…you left without notice…” Daisy goes up to her. “I…left a note. I didn’t want you to be mad at me” “Mad at you? Why would I be mad? Are you still worried for what happened? I told you it’s okay.” She places a hoof on her face and looks her in the eyes. “You’re not mad…okay…thanks.” Alina smiles a bit. “Besides, I fixed your truck…it’s at your house” “Y-you did?” Alina was a bit surprised, “You shouldn’t have…” “Hey I said I would and I keep my word” Daisy sits with her, “And for a pony like you…it was no problem at all” She scoots closer to her. “Uh…Daisy?” Alina asks. “Yes Alina?” She looks into her eyes. “Does this mean that…we’re…um…dating now…?” Alina blushes a bit. “I mean…you want to?” Daisy giggles. “I…” She stutters, “Do you want to?” “Oh shtap it Alina, you know we both want to…” Daisy nuzzles her. Alina gives her a smooch, “Then I say yes…” “Come on, let’s go back to your place and get your vehicle” “But my mother...” “We’re not going to bother her are we?” “Uh no, okay let’s go get it.” Alina closes her book, teleporting them both outside. “Please warn me before you do that again…” Daisy feels light headed. “Hey I did it! It worked!” “Wait this was your first time teleporting another pony??” Alina looks away, “Uh yeah!” She casually trots back to her house. Daisy shakes her head and follows. “Are ya going to drop me off home then?” “I guess hehe, can’t let you walk, wait, you can fly” Alina remembers. “I’m mighty tired from working on your car…” Daisy stretches her wings. “Oh right, sure” Alina smirks as they arrive at her house. She looks at the truck, looking at the details, “Not bad...” “Oh please you hardly would know if something is off” Daisy smiles. Alina nods and enters the house. “Oh I gave the keys to your mother” “Mom can I get the keys?” Alina shouts out. “On the counter dear!” Mother shouts back. Alina grabs them and starts to leave, but not before her mother comes downstairs seeing Daisy, “This young mare is the one who fixed your truck, you should invite her for a coffee.” “Mom we were just leaving, she had to drive here to drop it off.” “Hold on this is Daisy, the girl you stayed with last night?” Her mother asks. “Mhm…” Alina says, while putting her books down. “Well thank you Daisy for allowing Alina to stay over, I have no idea what in Equestria she was thinking having you take her in like that.” Her mother says. “It was no problem…Alina was a good guest, right Alina?” Daisy turns to her smirking. “Uh um yeah…we even went to grab a bite to eat” Alina blushes. “The food was REALLY good…” Daisy smiles more. “Y-yeah, say Daisy, how about we go drop you off now?” Alina heads to the door. “Oh if you insist, but I was going to tell your mom about the dessert” Daisy chuckles. Alina teleports them both out. “Hush! She’ll get so pissed off that I was just gone to be messing around!” Alina warns. “I wasn’t going to tell her hehe” Daisy puts a wing over Alina. Alina sighs and smiles, “Okay, just um try not to imply things about it, my mother will catch on” They get in the car and drive off. End of Chapter 5. //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 6: A Day or Two //-------------------------------------------------------// Ch. 6: A Day or Two Ch. 6: A Day or Two Alina drove them up to Daisy’s house and stops in the parkway, “Here’s your stop ma’am” she says to Daisy. “My stop hehe, are you getting off to walk me to the door?” Daisy hops off, Alina does so as well. She sticks next to Daisy’s side, “There we are you’re at the door” Alina smiles. “Want to come in?” “I’d rather not, mom’s going to get mad.” Alina says in a somewhat casual tone. “So? You’re over 18” “Maybe some other time Daisy, I had a good time today” Alina gives her a smooch starting to walk off. Daisy blushes, “As did I, um see you around Alina” Alina smiles, getting into her restored truck and leaves with Daisy watching, Once she’s out of view, Daisy closes her door and hops on the couch “Gah! What did I just do?? I shouldn’t have been so fast! It was only a day…” She complains to herself, putting a pillow on her face. “It’s because of those damned drinks! I shouldn’t have tried to get her that way, I ended up that way…what was I hoping to accomplish getting her that way??” She mumbles as her face is stuffed by the pillow. “She’ll probably hate me once she realizes what I tried…and then we…too fast…” Daisy throws the pillow across the room and gets up, she heads upstairs getting in the shower. Alina was also with her own doubts as she drove, she kept recalling the accident and shivers as she passes the spot. “No…I can’t believe I screwed up that badly…” She drives onward, “And then I slept in her bed- She said it was all good though...” Alina thinks, “Did I repay her my making out with her…she sure seemed to have liked it…but she was drunk. Then again I was too earlier…” Alina passes a red light without noticing. “I’m good with her, she’s my…marefriend now. Wow. She’s my marefriend. I have a marefriend…” The thought was new to her, the fact that she now had a girlfriend. Alina had never been keenly attracted towards mares, she didn’t mind either. Alina keeps repeating this thought all the ride home. A day goes by, neither Alina nor Daisy had contacted each other for that period. Daisy was now at work, she goes up to Fred, “Hey um has that mare come in today? You know, the one who teleported the engine in?” “Yes she did to finish paying off the work done in here, but also to cancel the other job on the truck’s body. She told me she got it fixed” Fred says. “Oh, I fixed it” Daisy smiles a bit. “It’s not marked that you did…” “Er, oh um right I did it at my house. With her permission of course” Daisy says. “Oh?” “I did it for free” Daisy tells him. “Alright, good. I didn’t want to have to bring her in and have to confirm things and other paperwork” Fred chuckles. “Anything else you want to tell me also weren’t you sick?” “Um yeah heh, but I was at home so I felt good working there. Also nah that’s all hehe” Daisy starts to go. “But she did mention you” Fred comments. “Oh? She did?” Daisy pretends not to care much. “Yeah, she said something about what a good worker you were and even talked to Miss Viola about you.” “S-she did? Ahem, what’d Miss Viola say?” Daisy leans her arm on the desk. “Nothing much I suppose, don’t expect anything special” Fred states. “Oh wow, you got me all excited” Daisy chuckles. “I mean you already have the highest position in mechanic here…unless you want to take my spot as her assistant.” He smirks. “I wouldn’t dream of such a spot, behind a desk. Yuck” Daisy giggles and goes back to work. She sighs as she stops chuckling. The day felt as if it dragged on for longer than it should have, Daisy did her work, but was distracted at the thought of Alina all day. Though this distraction didn’t hinder her from doing a good job, she didn’t finish as many cars as she would have hoped for. She looks outside, having called a taxi, she watches it drive up to the shop. With a sigh, missing her car, she hops into the cab, heading in the direction of the Canterlot Library. “Can you um, turn off the music please?” Daisy asks the cab driver. “Yes of course” He looks at her through the cab’s mirror, “Everything okay?” “Sort of…” She leans on the door, “Thanks for asking” “No problem, I like talking to my customers, you can find out some pretty interesting things.” “Oh?” “I had one of those secret agents on board once. He didn’t tell me much, but we got into a situation that involved my cab being shot at” He chuckles, “That was a good day of work” He goes on telling his tale, but Daisy drones parts of it out, only nodding and pretending to be responsive. After some time elapses, Daisy is dropped off at the library, she pays the stallion, saying her good byes. She looks at the doors of the immense library; she could only remember entering it once as a filly on a field trip. “Here goes nothing…” She enters, around her, she was surrounded by books and silent ponies, hard at work. Steadily, she walks through the building trying to find the mare. Soon she quickly spotted her, up on the second the floor; she was leaning next to some glass, reading. Daisy approaches Alina, “H-hey there Alina” She smiles. Alina looks up, “Oh hey, I was just looking into this book, it has some rocks that I need to grind up for a brew” “Uh...like a witch brew?” Daisy asks. “Nah, it’s more like for remedies not curses.” Alina smiles, turning a page. “Hey…so what have you been up to?” Daisy sits by her. “This mostly, it’s been a mix that I’ve been trying to do for a while, it heals wounds pretty quickly.” Alina says, excited. “Oh, neat, you want to go out somewhere later?” Daisy asks, wanting to hear a yes. “Sure thing, where do you want to take us?” Daisy blanks out, not having thought of a place, “How about another dinner?” “Hehe, oh another ‘dinner’?” Alina giggles, “Okay, but no alcohol this time.” “Y-yeah” Daisy grins, “I’ll be waiting outside” “No, stay here, I can’t take this book out with me.” Alina scooches her close to her. Daisy leans onto her shoulder and smiles, looking at the nonsense words and figures in Alina’s book, “What is all that...?” “Magical properties, measurement, and the pictures are either equations or how an item looks.” Alina nuzzles her ear a little. Daisy didn’t really know, “Oh okay hehe, your muzzle is soft” “Thanks, heh, you need a shower” Alina says, making her sniffing noise obvious to Daisy. “Oh stop it…” Daisy smirks, sniffing Alina’s cleaner mare scent, “Mm..” She closes her eyes, putting a wing around her. Alina grins, reading her book. After stopping at a spot, she sets the book away with her magic and lifts Daisy’s sleeping head up, kissing her forehead, “Wakey wakey…” Daisy groans, “Alarm…” “No, it’s Alina silly” She kisses her head again. Daisy forms a smiles, yawning. “How long did you read for…?” “Only twenty minutes, you fell asleep quite fast” Alina gets up, Daisy stands as well, stretching her back hooves and wings. “I’m starving, let’s go” Daisy clumsily flies down, Alina teleports to the doors, checks out and carries on. “So this place we’re going is a stand, it should still be open” “A stand, where’s it at?” Alina shuffles her books in her pack. “It’s in Ponyville, so…we’ll need a taxi” “I got my truck” Alina assures her; they go to the truck hopping in. “And I’ll need a ride home after this…” Daisy leans into Alina. “Yeah yeah, okay” Alina starts to drive, “Say, what things have you been doing?” “Mostly working and at home, fixing my car…I missed you” “I…did too” Alina replies, they have an awkward moment of silence, “Ahem, what foods’ at this stand?” “The finest pretzels I’ve ever tasted” Daisy snuggles into her marefriend. “Tell me where it’s at” Alina says. “Tell you what…” She unbuckles Alina, “I’ll drive” “Hmm something tells me you’re going to be driving me around more than I’ll be driving” Alina scooches over to Daisy’s spot after she stops at a light; bumping across her lap, buckling back up. Daisy takes control of the wheel, driving off to their destination. “I love driving Alina, it’s one of my pleasures in life, to fix, build, and drive cars.” She smiles, “Oh and be with you now” Alina blushes a bit. “Thanks, I feel the same way…about you of course, I know nothing about cars.” Alina squees. After about thirty minutes, arriving in Ponyville, Daisy parks near the stand that had little flashing lights along with a larger glowing light that had ‘Pretzels!’ written on it, “This is it” Daisy hops off taking a spot in line behind a stallion and his kid. Alina sniffs the air near the cart, it smelled amazingly delicious. There was a smaller stand by the cart stand that listed off the various flavors and styles of pretzels that were served. “Oh that smells good…I’m getting a chocolate covered sea salt pretzel” She stands by Daisy’s side. “Yeah? I’m getting the cheese-filled salted one, my favorite” Daisy nuzzles her, then orders the two pretzels at her turn. The food’s given to them at a quick time, Alina takes the rather large pretzel, taking a bite. Daisy does the same as they walk to the truck. “Daisy, goodness this tastes amazing! I can’t believe I’ve never seen this place before.” “Don’t get out much do ya?” Daisy giggles, letting Alina get into the driver’s spot. “Heh…yeah, I mostly stay or go to a few places, it’s comfortable” She says, half-chewing her food. Starting the truck, Alina begins to drive, “Oh and I’m needing to stop by a magic shop to get a few items for my cure mix.” “Hey, now there’s a place I don’t go to” Daisy grins, consuming her pretzel. “See, full of surprises” Alina continues to drive, occasionally taking small bites. “I noticed you listen to K-122 on the radio, that one of my favorite stations too” Daisy says as she turns up the low music. Alina moves along to the beat, soon arriving at the small shop. Daisy takes one glance at the shop and lifts up an eyebrow, “This place looks shady” “It’s just for the style, it’s a decent store” Alina guarantees, “Come with me, just don’t touch things” “Gotcha” Daisy says, following Alina in. This store was covered in a weird yellow wallpaper, that had a strange pattern on it that Daisy couldn’t figure out, which she quickly disregarded. Meanwhile, Alina was asking the store owner about a few leaves. Daisy was easily distracted by the shiny rocks by the window. “This place…sells rocks…” Daisy was confused, picking up one of the smaller ones. It glows upon her touch; she looks at the sign next to it that reads: “Wear gloves before touching the rocks”. Daisy shrugs, putting it back down, going to Alina who had purchased some six leaved plant. “Ready Daisy?” “Yes, this place is, um interesting” Daisy opens the door for her, slapping her flank as she passes by. Alina jumps a bit, “Hehe, oh you” They get into the car, driving to Daisy’s place. End of Chapter 6.
