He is also trying to clear his head after an unfortunate incident at training that happened in the morning. Earlier that morning: He got to the training area a little late and he met at the entrance by Fleetfoot. "You are so in trouble now Soar. Spitfire is going to chew your tail and not in a good way." "I know I know, I over slept." "Well you better hurry then." So he then ran as fast as he could passing by every other Wonderbolt until he sees Spitfire talking to two other fewllow bolts. He then walks up behind her and says "Sorry I'm late Spitfire, I over slept an-" "Enough." She says with a stern voice and at this the other two Wondrbolts flew off and left Soarin and Spitfire in silence and after a few minutes she turns and says "Soar, this is the fourth time this week, what is going on with you recently?" "Its sort of complicated." "Why, you never were late and at one point when you me and a few others went off to celebrate a job well done, you barely ate." He then looks around to make sure that no one is watching and says "Well cap, I don't know what is going on an-" "Is this about somemare that is on your mind." Soarin's face then went red and he was surprised and says "Well Maybe but why would that matter?" "Well it is obvious that you have a crush on this mare if she can do this to you even if you have an army of fan mares behind you so this mare must mean something to you. So if you want to, I'll give you a two week vacation and you can go see this mare of yours that you have a crush on." "But Cap, the Wonderbolts and the shows." "Don't worry, our next show is not in until three weeks so you will have plenty of time to meet her and you could still get some practice in. And don't make me order you by pulling rank." "Thanks Spit." he then shakes hooves and as soon he left Spitfire then says "That doesn't go for the rest of you, now lets get ready for our next show." And now that he has two weeks of vacation he then went off he then all of a sudden thinks about that one mare that he so wants to see again since the wedding two months ago. So he flies off towards the one place that the mare told him where she lives: Ponyville. Along the way, he thinks back on that wedding day he met her Two months ago: It is the later on the evening some time after the reception starts, Soarin could not get his mind off of the Sonic Rainboom that was done by the young mare that won the Best Young Flyer Compitition. As soon as he arrived he tries to find her to tell her a job well done until he sees her with the happy couple and five other ponies whom he regonizes as her friends and then he sees the lavender pony nods her head to what appears to be an energetic pink pony whom then smiles and ran off towards a DJ table and she then pulls up DJ-PON3 and yells something and then music starts playing. She then toss a mike to the same lavender pony whom starts to sing. He then looks back at the rainbow maned mare he was looking for and sees her dancing and then he got the nerve to walk up to her and says "Excuse me, miss." The mare then turns around and she then had a surprise look on her face and says "Oh my gosh! Soarin! What brings you here?" "Well I saw the Rainboom that you done and I want to say that was pretty awesome." "Thank you, and I hope that impressed you enough and Spitfire." "Actually, it did." He then sees her with a big grin and he then says "So I was wondering if you want to dance with me an-" before he could finish she says "Yes I would love to." and that was when he started to have feelings for her. As he was flying, he then heads toards home and he lands at his front door and went inside and takes off his uniform and decides to keep the goggles. He then flew off heading towards the outskirts of Cloudsdale when he almost ran into Fleetfoot and she says "Hey Soarin, heard what happened, so you have a marefriend." "She is not my marefriend." "Not yet anyway. Hope you have fun." after he gets annoyed he then says "Don't you have a colt-friend that you should meet?" "Yes I do, thanks Soar. See you in two weeks" "Yea see you later Fleet." After that encounter, he continues to fly off towards Ponyville and to the mare he so wants to meet again. About an hour later After a while, Soarin could see the small town and he decides to land outside and he then walks right into town and he then sees that every pony in town is friendly and happy all the time. Just when he was about to head towards the market, a pink blur comes up but then what appears to be a pink pony with balloons as her cutie mark stops right in front of him and says while bouncing around him "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie. Are you new here? How long are you staying? Do you like parties? We should throw a party for you. So what do you say?" At first he did not know what to say and then after a while he says "Yea, I like a good party." "Great, so come on down to Sugar Cube Corner at around eight this afternoon." She then ran off and Soarin thinks how could she get a party ready in a matter of hours? He then decides to not think about it and continues to walk along until a letter lands on top of him and when he picks it off a grey pegasus mare with a blonde mane lands in front of him and says "Sorry about that, I'm trying to keep track of all of these letters so that I could deliver them on time." "That is alright." "You must be new here, I'm Ditzy, but some ponies call me Derpy which I got use to by the way." "Well then can you point me to a place called Surger Cube Corner?" "Why yes, its right over there and the only gingerbread house like building." she points with her hoof towards a building that does look like a gingerbread house. "Well I goota go, it was nice meeting you." She then flew off and Soarin then realize that her eyes seem to be off center but did not mind so he now knows where to go for the party. So he dicides to explore Ponyville until the party starts. Chapter 2: The CMC and The PartyChapter 2: The CMC After what seems like hours, Soarin walks towards town hall and sees that it is half past noon and realizes he has nothing to do until the party. "Maybe I should just-" "LOOK OUT!" As soon as he heard that, Soarin then jumps up with a flap of his wings and sees what appears to be a wagon with three fillies and they were just about to run into the building. So then he went as fast as he could and was able to stop them by grabbing a three of them and then the wagon crashed into one of the pillers. As soon as he realizes all three of them were safe, he then landed and place them down and says "What were you thinking? Do you realize that you could have gotten hurt?" "Sorry sir," says the yellow filly "we were trying to get our cutie marks." "At least you are safe and well, but next time don't try anything like that again." says Soarin As soon as he stopped talking he turned around until the orange filly came up in front of him and says "Are you new here sir?" "Yes, why do you ask?" "We could help you get around if you want." says the white filly "I guess that will be all right. So then, what are your names?." "I'm Scootaloo." says the orange filly "I'm Applebloom." says the yellow filly "And I'm Sweetie Belle. And we are-" says the white filly Soarin then had to cover his ears by what he heard next "THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS! YAY!" all three of them yelled Soarin then uncovers his ears and says "Wow, well then I'm glad I met you so-" "Hey, do you want a tour of Ponyville?" "I guess so." he says with a confused look All of a sudden all three of them shouted "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS TOUR GUIDES! YAY!" "What did I get myself into?" Soarine says to himself as he was dragged by all three fillies. After a while, they dragged him to the library, to a place he forgot the name of but knows it is a clothing store, Surger Cube Corner, the school, Sweet Apple Acres and after all of that the young fillies went there seperate ways. Soarin then realizes that it is time for the party starts. "Wow, time sure does fly by fast. Better get to the party." So he then flies off towards where the party is being hosted and when he lands, he then brushed back his mane and set his goggles in his forehead. He then walks up to the door and as soon as he knocks on it, the same pink mare greeted him and says to him "Glad you could make it, this would not have been a party without the new pony here." She then grabs him by the hoof and then the music starts playing. Then the pink pony then showed her to many ponies that were there and there seems to be almost the entire population is there and then she says "Well now, why don't I introduce you to my friends over here." She then drags him over to five mares and what appears to be two stallions near by. "Hi, welcome. My name is Twilight Sparkle." says the lavender pony then one by on the others came up to him "My good sir," says the white mare with the purple mane "My name is Rarity." "I'm...I'm Fluttershy." says a nervous yellow pink maned pony "Howdy sir, I'm Applejack." says a orange yellow maned mare "Nice to see you again." "Same here Ditzy." Soarin says when he sees a familliar face among them Then the two stallions came up and the red one says "I'm Big Mac." "Mental note, do NOT get on his bad side." thought Soarin after he sees ho big he is then the last one says "I'm Caramel." before he could say anything, Twilight says "Hey Pinkie, where is Rainbow?" "She was just finishing up clearing some clouds." says Pinkie "By the way, What is your name sir?" says Rarity "Well, this was bound to come up." thought Soarin. He then takes a deep breath and says "My name is-" "Soarin!" screams somepony from the entrence. And everypony turned to see Rainbow Dash at the doorway. At first he just stood there but then before he could do anything, Rainbow came running up and stops right in front of him and says "Its so good to see you again, even though is has been months. And what brings you here?" "Well, Spitfire decided that I need a break and some R&R."It will be better if I don't tell her about my feelings yet. he thinks to himself and then says "So I decided to come here and see what this place is like." He then thought he saw her stood up straight and says "Well now, glad you could be here and I'll gladly show you around the place." "Actually, three young fillies named Sweetie Belle, Aplebloom and Scootaloo showed me around already." "Well then that should save us plenty of time for me to show you some of my stunts that I have been practicing." "I'm looking forward to it." So then the party went on for some hours until it was getting near midnight, and it was time for everypony to go and one by one they all left and then Soarin says "I just remember, I don't have a place to stay." "You could stay at my place." says Rainbow Soarin then was about to thank her until she then says "But you get the couch, ok." "Sure." So then both of them flew off as soon as everypony was gone and says goodnight and went towards Dash's cloud home. As soon as the arrived, Rainbow gets him a blanket and a pillow and says "Goodnight Soar." "Goddnight Dash." Then he sets up his bedding on the couch and then he lies down and thinks So far so good. And she just called me Soar! And somehow I do not mind. Chapter 3: Day One.Chapter 3: Day One Soarin finds himself flying through a sea of clouds. While at the same time, feeling the wind through his mane, his tail and his feathers. He then lands on a cloud and lays down on what it feels like a giant pillow. Until he hears something and when he looks up, he sees a beutiful cyan-coated mare. He then regonizes Rainbow Dash, and then flies up to her but before he could get to her, she then flies off but not fast. So he then follows her and when he catches up to her, she then flies circles around her and Soarin plays along. After what appears to be hours of what some could say that they were dancing in the sky, Soarin lands on a cloud on his back and Rainbow lands on top of him and then they wrap there hooves around each other and she says "I love you Soarin." "I love you too." And just before they kissed he fell through the clouds screaming then all of a sudden "THUNCK!" After that, Soarin then looks around and realizes that he was dreaming and that he fell off of the couch. It took him a while to find his bearings and that he is in Rainbow Dash's house. He then looks outside and sees that it is early in the morning and thinks when he rubs the back of his head with a hoof "Maybe I should do something Dash. But would that be rushing it, what would she think. This is harder then I thought it would be." He then finally decides to make Dash breakfest. So he then went and found the kitchen and sees that she seems to have some dirty dishes laying around and when he was about to decide on what to do, he hears a grunt behind him and when he turns around, he sees Rainbow Dash. And from the look of her, she gotten out of the shower "She looks good with that wet mane of hers." "I see you are up already." "Yes I am. And I was wondering what is for breakfest?" "Well, I was going to make some toast and eggs." "That sounds fine." So then he went to sit at the table while Rainbow cook up the breakfest. And while she was doing that, Soarin thinks to himself "So then, what to do today? I guess I could hang out with her for a few days then I'll ask her to go on a date with me and go from there." After about an hour, Rainbow comes into the dining hall with two plates, on each hoof and she put one in front of Soarin and after that, she sat down and both of them started eating in silence. After some time, Soarin says "So, what is the plans for today?" "Well, Since today is going to be sunny, how about a race?" "This could be a good chance to impress her." "That sounds fun." "Alright, since we are done with the food, let us go race." So then, both of them left Dash's home, they went off and landed on a cloud and Dash says "Alright, we will race the entire length of Ponyville and we will do three laps around. And this cloud is the starting place." "Sounds good Dash." "Alright, On your mark" Both of them crouch down "Should I go easy on her?" "Get set." They then unfurl there wings "No, she may not want me to go easy on her." "Go!" And there off, at first Rainbow is in the lead but then Soarin gets right beside her and they are neck in neck. But as soon as they are on there second lap, Soarin pulls ahead "Come on Dash, if you want to be in the Wonderbolts, you have to give it your all." And with that, Dash pulls beside him and says "Hey, I'll give it my all and 20% more." She then pulls up ahead and Soarin thinks "She is good, awesome, cool and cute all at the same time." And for the remainder of the lap, Dash was ahead. Then on the third lap, Soarin pulls up along side her and tries to pull on ahead until Rainbow says "Not so fast." All of a sudden, a cone forms up around her and then Soarin realizes what she is about to do. "BOOM" A Sonic Rainboom was formed and Soarin just stopped in mid air and sees a long streak of rainbow right behind Dash. "She is not just awesome or cute, she is amazingly wonderful." And after that, Dash came up to him and says "So then Soarin, how was that?" "That was amazing and awesome." Then a blush appears on Dash's cheeks, but before Soarin sees it she turns her head to the side and says "Thanks, I'm just awesome that way." "And cute." Soarin says to himself Rainbow then quicly turns her head to him and says "What was that?" Soarin then realizes that he said that out loud he tries to mumble an excuse, but before he could says anything, she puts a hoof on his lips and when she did that, Soarin's heart seem to have skip a beat and she says "No need to apologize for that." she then gets close to him and says "Besides, I think you are handsome yourself." "Am I dreaming?" Before he could respond, se then says with a nervous look "So then...how about we go to Surger Cube Corner." "Sure thing." So then both of them flew off towards the gingerbread like house and landed at the front door. When they went in Pinkie Pie ran up and says "Gooooood morning you two. Did you like my party last night, did ya did ya?" "Yes Pinkie, I did." says Soarin "All right. So what can I get you two?" "Some apple pie will be nice." "Okie dokie lokie." she says and hops behind the counter and grabs a pie and says "One apple pie, coming right up." After she gave them there pie, Soarin and Dash sat down at a table and talked about what they been doing since the wedding. After they were done talking Soarin says "Well, that was great, how about I tell you a bit about myself." "Really Soarin! I would like that." "All right, where should I begin, Well I grew up in Cloudsdale and went to flight school where I made a few freinds who are Spitfire, Fire Streak and Fleetfoot whom you know are all in the Wonderbolts with me. My father was in the Wonderbolts himself. Both he and my mother met at a show of his and from what they told me, when he did his grand finale, she thought she felt some sort of connection with him. So both he and her went out on a date the next day and before they realize it, they fell in love and gotten married in just three months. And then I was born a year later." "So enough about me, how about you." He then sees that Dash is a little bit nervous and when he sees this, he says "If you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to." "No, I should tell somepony this." She then breaths in deeply and says "Well, As for where I came from, I think it was in Cloudsdale also. But to be honest, I never knew my parents, I was an orphan." Soarin was surprised to hear this and was feeling sorry for her. After a few minutes, she continues "But I was raised by an uncle of mine who took me in and cared for me. And he tought me everything I knew and sends me to Fight camp where I met Gilda and Fluttershy. And there is where I learned about the Wonderbolts and my dream began and after that I moved here to Ponyville. From that moment on, I trained to be the best flyer ever." And when Soarin heard all this, he then realizes that Rainbow Dash is the type of mare that could do anything if she puts her mind to it. "Wow, that is some life you had." "Yea, it was fun and cool." And after that, they left the place and payed for the pie and flew around while Dash does her weather job. And then after a while, it is getting near past noon. And Dash says "Hey, why don't you come with me to the park. Me and my friends are having a picnic there." "I would love to." says Soarin happily "Alright." So then both of them walked towards the park and after arriving, they see Dash's friends and the same two colts that he met at the party. When Twilight sees them, she says "Finally Dash, you made it." They then sat down and talked about many things. Then out of the corner of Soarins eye, he sees the cutie mark crusaders playing near them and probably thinking of ways to earn there cutie marks. He then turns to Big Mac and Caramel and says "So, what are you two up too?" Big Mac says "Well, I'm just here with Fluttershy and Caramel is here with Applejack." "So not much." says Caramel Soarin was surprised that this big red stallion could fall for shuch a shy little mare and Caramel seems to like AJ a lot from what he could tell. But what surprised him more is what Caramel says next "You like Rainbow Dash do ya?" He then was speechless for a few minutes and his face turned red as Big Macs coat. "Yes! I knew it, you not just like her, you love her." says Caramel "Well...I...I do like her." says Soarin with a nervous voice "Well then tell her you do like her." "But how?" "Well, I told Fluttershy by taking her to a hill to watch the sunset and I myself was nervous about it. But when I told her I love her, she said the same thing to me and now she is my mare friend." says Big Mac "Or, you could just out right say it. When I fell in love with AJ, it was some time at the wedding that I was lucky enough to be at. And I saw her at the reception in that wonderful dress, I sort of fell in love right away. And then after about a moth after that, I told her at her apple stand. And to my surprise, she likes me back and we been together ever since." says Caramel "Wow, thanks you two. I hope to learn something from this." says Soarin And after some time, they packed up and all of them went home and Soarin went with Dash to her cloud home. When both of them went inside, Soarin says "Hey Dash." "Yea Soarin." "I was wondering if by chance you want to hang out again tomorrow?" He then hears a gasp from her and then "Of course, I would love to." And before he realizes it, she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and she went upstairs leaving Soarin standing there with his mane standing on edge. "She just kissed me! I might have a chance after all." Chapter 4: True FeelingsChapter 4: True Feelings It has been a week since that day, and Soarin knew that he should do something special for Dash. He first thought of getting her flowers. But does not know what type she likes, so he finally decides he should go on a date with her. He first off found a good resteraunt but he did not know which one to take Dash to so, so he decides to go back. On his way back to Dash's place, he sees two pegasi flying towards him and when they gotten close, he regonizes them as Fleetfoot and Fire Streak. "Hey there you two, what brings you here?" says Soarin as soon as they landed in front of him "Nothing much, just came to check up on you." says Fleetfoot "And as for you Streak, are you having fun with your marefreind?" says Soarin teasing Streak then laughs while blushing and says "Very funny Soar, me and Fleet here are just going steady for now." "Good for you two." "What about you? Have you made your move on your mare?" says Fleetfoot Soarin was surprised when he hears this. He blushes for a bit and says "Well...its kind of tough but I know I'm getting some where." "Well better hurry, your vacation is almost up." says Fire Streak "Well I was going to ask her out tonight and tell her how I feel about her then." "Well then, hope it goes well, and by the way, who is this mare that you like?" Soarin thinks about this and decides to tell his friends "Well if you must know, the mares name is Rainbow Dash." He hears a gasp from both of them and then Fire says "You mean the future prospect wonderbolt! Wow, just wow." "I have to agree with Streak here," says Fleetfoot "You are one lucky stallion to fall for her just like that." "That is enough you two, and don't worry, I have it all covered." "Let me guess, she makes you sleep on the couch am I right?" says Streak "Yes, why?" "That is what Fleet did to me when I spent some nights with her." "At least now I allow you to sleep in bed with me and no need to go into details about that." says Feetfoot with a blush on her. They all then laugh until a pink blur comes running up. "Wonder what took Pinkie so long?" thought Soarin Then the pink blur stop right in front of them and says "Hi there, I'm Pinkie Pie, are you two new here, are you two together," big gasp "We should throw a party for you two, please come by Suger Cube Corner tonight for it." She then went off with both Fire Streak and Fleetfoot with confused looks until Soarin says "Don't worry, she is always like that." "Well then, how about you show us around Ponyville and tell us what you did for the past week." So Soarin then shows them around the town while at the same time introducing to some other ponies like Carrot Top, Bon Bon, Lyra, Ace, Cherry Cola and some other ponies that live in town. Soarin then realizes that it is getting near for the party to start. "We better get to the party. Don't want to be late for it." "Know what Soarin, you should tell Dash how you feel at this party." says Fleetfoot "I will try." he says with a nervous look So then they went off towards Suger Cube Corner and when they went inside, everypony that are in there yelled "SURPRISE!" "Wow, this is amazing." says Fire Streak So then the party went off well for some hours, until Rainbow says "Ohmygosh! Two Wonderbolts here! First one now three! This is awesome!" Fleetfoot and Fire Streak giggled at this and then Dash says "So, are you two engaged yet because my monthly Wonderbolt magazine has barely any specifics since you two got together about a month and a half ago." Soarin giggles and thinks "If I remember correctly, those two got together on accident when a photographer took a picture of them in bed together and they were really embarrassed about it. But it did bring them together and closer in the end, so it was all good." "Why yes Dash, we are still together." says Fleetfoot "That is awesome!" says Dash So they all continued talking until Soarin decides it is time to tell Dash how he feels for her. So he went up to Dash and says "Hey Dash, can I talk to you alone for a bit?" "Sure thing Soar." Fleetfoot sees them walking away together and says to Fire Streak "I think he finally is going to tell her." "That would be nice." says Fire Streak Meanwhile, outside Soarin and Rainbow stood outside without saying anything. Until Soarin says "Hey Dash, We been together for a while now haven't we?" "Yes we have." "Well, how do I put this, ever since I met you at that wedding, and even before that, well, I sort of like you more then just a friend. And you are cute, funny and awesome in your own way." When he looks at Dash, he sees her with a surprised look, but then she calms her self down and says "Well if you must know Soarin, I sort of like you also." Soarin was then surprised to hear this and then what happened next surprised him even more. Rianbow jumps at him and wraps her hooves around his neck and kisses him on the lips. He then wraps his hooves around her and kisses her lips back. And after they broke up, Dash says "That was amazing." "Yes it was. Just as you are." Dash then blushes and both of them kissed again. At the doorway to the bakery, Fleetfoot and Pinkie Pie sees this and Pinkie says "Oh my! Dash has a colt friend, we should throw them a party!" "How about we just add it to this party." says Fleetfoot "Your right!" she then runs back in and yells "Hey everypony, Dash has a colt friend now! And it is Soarin." And at the same time, Dash and Soarin heard that and both of them began to blush and Dash says "That is Pinkie for ya, always ready for another party." "I don't mind it at all." So then the party lasted twice as long and after everypony left, and congragulated Soarin and Dash and Dash's friends are all happy to see them together. Soarin took Dash home after they all left on by one and as soon as they got home, Soarin was about to go to the couch when Dash says "If you want to, you could come in bed with me." Soarin then says "I would love to my love." before he followed her he thinks "Best. Night. Ever!" Chapter 5: Last DayChapter 5: Last Day It has been a week since Soarin and Dash became more then just friends. Even though Soarin wish the week did not went by so fast, part of him wants to stay but he knows that he has to go back to the Wonderbolts. On his last vacation day, Soarin woke up in bed right beside Rainbow Dash with there hooves around each other. He then kissed her on the muzzle and she then stirs in her sleep and open her eyes and they looked into each other eyes until Dash says "Good morning Soar." "Good morning Dashie, sleep well?" "Yes, I did." Then they kissed and then Dash says "So, whats for breakfest?" "I'm thinking something special since this will be my last day here." he says with a bit of dissapointment in his voice. "What is wrong?" says Dash sitting up when she notice the sound in his voice "Well," Soarin says while getting on his back "I'll be heading on back to Cloudsdale tommorrow and well, I'll be seeing you only a few times a month." "Not unless I come to see your shows." says Rainbow laying on his chest Soarin then laughs and says "I guess your right about that. Oh that reminds me, we have a show in just one week and I could get you a VIP pass." "And a chance to see you afterwards?" "Of course Dashie." he then kisses her forhead and hugs her close to him. Aferwards, Dash then got out of bed and heads downstairs to make breakfest and Soarin got up also to see if he could help. Instead, he then sat at the table and waited a few minutes until Dash came on out with the food and then they ate for a while until Soarin says "So then Dash, whats the plan for today?" "Well, I was going to take care of the weather, even though its going to be a clear day today." "I'm sure you can do it in 10 seconds flat." "Of course I could." says Dash "Well then, we could go see some of your friends today." "That sounds great." After they are done, they took there dishes to the sink and Soarin could not resist to give her a quick kiss on the cheek, but she only smiled and says "Can't help yourself huh." "How could I? You are the most farest of all mares." Dash then blushes and says "You silver tounged stallion, you always know what to say." They then went out and Soarin decides to help Dash out with the weather and then afterwards, they decide to go to see Fluttershy first. They decided to walk there just to enjoy the moment together. After about an hour, they arrived at Fluttershy's cottage and then Dash knocks on the door only to be greated by Big Mac. "Big Mac! I thought you usually get up early to harvest the apples." says Dash "Of course I do. I just came out here to drop off some apples to Fluttershy." "Well we just wanted to see Fluttershy and is she here?" "Eeeyup." he then walks on back to Sweet Apple Acres and then Soarin and Dash went inside and sees Fluttershy on a couch and both of them see that she is humming a song to herself until Dash says "Hey Shy." She then gave out a squeak and says "Oh Dash, Soarin, I did not see you there. Welcome." "How is everything here Fluttershy? And was Big Mac really bringing apples?" says Dash "Why yes he did bring apples. And everything here is fine. And he even told me some happy news." "What is it?" says Soarin "I'll let him tell you." Dash then realizes she will never get it out of her, so they just talked for a while until Soarin says "We should go Rainbow." "Right Soar, well see ya later Shy." "Alright, bye." So they went on towards Sweet Apple Acres and see that Big Mac and AJ and Caramel are in the fields. So they decide to go on up to them and when they got close, AJ sees them and says "Why howdy there, how are things going between you two?" "Everything is going great AJ. How about you?" says Rainbow "Well for starters," she then takes a deep breath and then says "Caramel just ask me to marry him." "And you said am I right?" says Soarin "Why of course I did." "Well then congradulations Applejack, I guess that is what you told Fluttershy Mac?" says Rainbow "Eeeyup." he says with a smile And after all of that and talking some more, they then said there goodbyes and went off towards the Library where Twilight lives. And when they arrived, they were greated by Spike and he says "Welcome you two love pegasi, are you here to see Twilight?" "Yes we are." says Soarin "Twilight! Dash and Soarin are here to see you." "Send them in Spike." says whom they know is Twilight Ad when they went inside, they see books piled up on one side of the room and Twilight sitting in the middle levitating some books around her. "Hello there you two," she says "please, sit down." So they all sat down and talked about many things for about an hour and Soarin says "Did you know AJ is getting married?" "Yes I did, and yes Pinkie Pie knows and she is getting a party ready and Rarity is already getting her wedding dress prepared. Wow, I'm so happy for my friends. AJ getting married, Fluttershy and you Rainbow have a colt friend. Who knows who will get one next." "Maybe you Twilight." says Dash "Me! That would be difficult. Who would go out with me?" "Maybe somepony like you." says Soarin They all then laugh at the idea and Rainbow says "We should go, bye Twi." "Bye Dash and Soarin." "Bys Twilight." says Soarin So they went off towards Suger Cube Corner and see Pinkie Pie outside with the Cake twins and she says "Hey there you two, how are you?" "Fine Pinkie, and you?" says Soarin "Well, the party is all ready for AJ and Caramel and now I'm babysitting these twins." "Pinkie." says Pound "Pie." says Pumpkin "Yes you two, can you get any more cuter then you already are?" And they all laughed at this and talked some more until Soarin notices Rarity and says "Hey Rare, how are you?" "Well, AJs dress is ready and now I'm just taking a stroll. Hi Pinkie." she then says to Pinkie "Hello Rarity." says Pinkie "How is everything at the Ratity?" says Soarin "Well, I do have to watch over my sister and her freinds for a little bit this afternoon and that is pretty much it." So then they all taked for a little bit until Rarity says "Well, I have to go now. It was nice meeting all of you." "We should get going also." says Soarin "Bye Pinkie." says Dash "Bye you two." says Pinkie waving her hoof After they left, Soarin says "So then what now?" "Well, if you want to I could come along with you to Cloudsdale." "I would like that very much." Soarin says with a bit of joy in his voice So then when they went home, Soarin says "How about we make this night one to remember." Dash then kisses him and says "I agree." and both of them went into her house. It is then morning and Soarin finds himself laying on top of Rainbow and thinks "That was a night I would remember." Then Dash wakes up and says "Well, that was some night." "Yea, to bad I have to go back to the Wonderbolts." So then both of them got up, took a shower and ate breakfest and then both of them flew off towards Cloudsdale. It took them about a couple of hours to reach the Wonderbolts HQ and when they arrived, they see Fleetfoot and Fire Streak there and Soarin says "Hello there." "Hi there Soarin." says Fleetfoot "See your back already." "Yep, And thanks Rainbow for coming along." "No problem." says Rainbow and then they both gave a quick kiss on the lips and Dash went on back home Soarin was watching her for a few minutes until Fire Streak says "Don't worry, you will see her again." "Thanks Fire." he says looking back in the direction Rainbow took "I know I will." Then all three of them went inside and got ready for the show that they were doing in just one week. Soarin then found himself doing better at his flying skills and he was doing well. After practice, Spitfire came up to him and says "So Soarin, how was your vacation?" "It was amazing Spit." says Soarin "And I'm planning on doing something for Dash at the show next week." "Nice, glad you are happy." So then Soarin got started on his special move for Dash and he knows he has to make it something special. Chapter 6: The Show and a SurpriseChapter 6: The Show and a Surprise The day of the show has arrived. Soarin is getting ready in the wonderbolts locker room. All he could think about is the show and Rainbow Dash is going to be there. "Hope she is there. What am I saying, of course she will be there." Hey Soarin, is your mare friend going to be there?" Soarin turns around and sees Fire Streak and says "Of course she will be." "Well, hope it all goes well for you and her." After Soarin and the other Wonderbolts are ready, after a while when the announcer, introduced them, they then took off into the skies. They then did all of there usual tricks and Soarin then took a quick galnce towards the VIP section. And to his delight, he sees a rainbow colored mane and cyan colored coated pegasus sitting in the stands. He then continues to do all of his usual tricks along with his fellow Wonderbolts. And after a few hours, they then did one big final trick which as usual made the crowd go wild. he and all the other Wonderbolts then went into the locker rooms. After a good shower and clean up, Soarin then sees Fleetfoot coming towards him says "Hey Soar, your mare is here talking to Spitfire." "Thanks Fleetfoot." he says with a bit of joy in his voice He then went off and sees Spitfire and Rainbow Dash on the field talking and when he went up to them, he says "Hi there Dashie." "Hey Soarin." says Dash with a smile "Good, glad you could make it. Becuase I have some news that you two may like very much." Then both Soarin and Rainbow look at Spitfire with surprised looks and Dash says "What is that Spitfire?" Unknown to them, all of the other Wonderbolts all come out of the locker rooms and came towards them. After a while, Spitfire says "Well Rainbow, you sure you want to be part of the wonderbolts?" "Of course, it has been my dream since I was a filly." says Dash exitedly "Well then, if you must know, there is a Wonderbolts tryouts this weekend and you are welcome to come." All of a sudden, Rainbow Dash gave out a fan girl like squeal and says "Oh my gosh! Yes I would come. I can't wait to tell my friends about this." She then flew up into the sky and did a Sonic Rainboom and came down and tackles Soarin while giving him a big kiss on the lips. Then Soarin says "You do realize we are in public." Then Dash looks around with a blush on her face and says "Oops," she then giggles and gets off of Soarin and says "Well, I'm just happy that I'm finnally going to be in the Wonderbolts." So then after she went home to practice mre of her tricks and tell her friends, Soarin then realizes that he will be spending more time with his new mare friend "This is has been the most awesome day ever." Epilogue It has been a few months since that day. Applejack is married to Caramel, Rainbow is part of the Wonderbolts, Soarin and her are now known as The Wonderbolt Couple wich requires them to put on a show just the two of them, and Soarin and Dash then hears that Fluttershy and Big Mac are getting married as well as Fleetfoot and Fire Streak. And at the end of one show during The Grand Galloping Gala, Soarin decides that this will be the night that he will ask Dash a certain question. When he and Dash are together at a table he says "Hey Dash, we have been together for some time now haven't we?" "Yes Soar we are." "Well...I was wondering if by chance if you will marry me?" Then a loud squeal is heard and Dash says "Of course I'll marry you." Then Soarin and Dash then kissed each other and Soarin thinks "Now this just got alot cooler."
Chapter 1: Soarin's VacationChapter 1: Soarin's Vacation It has been about two months since the big wedding of Princess Cadence and Shinning Armor, and Soarin is just flying around the outskirts of Cloudsdale letting the wind go through his blue mane and tail. He is also trying to clear his head after an unfortunate incident at training that happened in the morning. Earlier that morning: He got to the training area a little late and he met at the entrance by Fleetfoot. "You are so in trouble now Soar. Spitfire is going to chew your tail and not in a good way." "I know I know, I over slept." "Well you better hurry then." So he then ran as fast as he could passing by every other Wonderbolt until he sees Spitfire talking to two other fewllow bolts. He then walks up behind her and says "Sorry I'm late Spitfire, I over slept an-" "Enough." She says with a stern voice and at this the other two Wondrbolts flew off and left Soarin and Spitfire in silence and after a few minutes she turns and says "Soar, this is the fourth time this week, what is going on with you recently?" "Its sort of complicated." "Why, you never were late and at one point when you me and a few others went off to celebrate a job well done, you barely ate." He then looks around to make sure that no one is watching and says "Well cap, I don't know what is going on an-" "Is this about somemare that is on your mind." Soarin's face then went red and he was surprised and says "Well Maybe but why would that matter?" "Well it is obvious that you have a crush on this mare if she can do this to you even if you have an army of fan mares behind you so this mare must mean something to you. So if you want to, I'll give you a two week vacation and you can go see this mare of yours that you have a crush on." "But Cap, the Wonderbolts and the shows." "Don't worry, our next show is not in until three weeks so you will have plenty of time to meet her and you could still get some practice in. And don't make me order you by pulling rank." "Thanks Spit." he then shakes hooves and as soon he left Spitfire then says "That doesn't go for the rest of you, now lets get ready for our next show." And now that he has two weeks of vacation he then went off he then all of a sudden thinks about that one mare that he so wants to see again since the wedding two months ago. So he flies off towards the one place that the mare told him where she lives: Ponyville. Along the way, he thinks back on that wedding day he met her Two months ago: It is the later on the evening some time after the reception starts, Soarin could not get his mind off of the Sonic Rainboom that was done by the young mare that won the Best Young Flyer Compitition. As soon as he arrived he tries to find her to tell her a job well done until he sees her with the happy couple and five other ponies whom he regonizes as her friends and then he sees the lavender pony nods her head to what appears to be an energetic pink pony whom then smiles and ran off towards a DJ table and she then pulls up DJ-PON3 and yells something and then music starts playing. She then toss a mike to the same lavender pony whom starts to sing. He then looks back at the rainbow maned mare he was looking for and sees her dancing and then he got the nerve to walk up to her and says "Excuse me, miss." The mare then turns around and she then had a surprise look on her face and says "Oh my gosh! Soarin! What brings you here?" "Well I saw the Rainboom that you done and I want to say that was pretty awesome." "Thank you, and I hope that impressed you enough and Spitfire." "Actually, it did." He then sees her with a big grin and he then says "So I was wondering if you want to dance with me an-" before he could finish she says "Yes I would love to." and that was when he started to have feelings for her. As he was flying, he then heads toards home and he lands at his front door and went inside and takes off his uniform and decides to keep the goggles. He then flew off heading towards the outskirts of Cloudsdale when he almost ran into Fleetfoot and she says "Hey Soarin, heard what happened, so you have a marefriend." "She is not my marefriend." "Not yet anyway. Hope you have fun." after he gets annoyed he then says "Don't you have a colt-friend that you should meet?" "Yes I do, thanks Soar. See you in two weeks" "Yea see you later Fleet." After that encounter, he continues to fly off towards Ponyville and to the mare he so wants to meet again. About an hour later After a while, Soarin could see the small town and he decides to land outside and he then walks right into town and he then sees that every pony in town is friendly and happy all the time. Just when he was about to head towards the market, a pink blur comes up but then what appears to be a pink pony with balloons as her cutie mark stops right in front of him and says while bouncing around him "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie. Are you new here? How long are you staying? Do you like parties? We should throw a party for you. So what do you say?" At first he did not know what to say and then after a while he says "Yea, I like a good party." "Great, so come on down to Sugar Cube Corner at around eight this afternoon." She then ran off and Soarin thinks how could she get a party ready in a matter of hours? He then decides to not think about it and continues to walk along until a letter lands on top of him and when he picks it off a grey pegasus mare with a blonde mane lands in front of him and says "Sorry about that, I'm trying to keep track of all of these letters so that I could deliver them on time." "That is alright." "You must be new here, I'm Ditzy, but some ponies call me Derpy which I got use to by the way." "Well then can you point me to a place called Surger Cube Corner?" "Why yes, its right over there and the only gingerbread house like building." she points with her hoof towards a building that does look like a gingerbread house. "Well I goota go, it was nice meeting you." She then flew off and Soarin then realize that her eyes seem to be off center but did not mind so he now knows where to go for the party. So he dicides to explore Ponyville until the party starts.
Chapter 2: The CMC and The PartyChapter 2: The CMC After what seems like hours, Soarin walks towards town hall and sees that it is half past noon and realizes he has nothing to do until the party. "Maybe I should just-" "LOOK OUT!" As soon as he heard that, Soarin then jumps up with a flap of his wings and sees what appears to be a wagon with three fillies and they were just about to run into the building. So then he went as fast as he could and was able to stop them by grabbing a three of them and then the wagon crashed into one of the pillers. As soon as he realizes all three of them were safe, he then landed and place them down and says "What were you thinking? Do you realize that you could have gotten hurt?" "Sorry sir," says the yellow filly "we were trying to get our cutie marks." "At least you are safe and well, but next time don't try anything like that again." says Soarin As soon as he stopped talking he turned around until the orange filly came up in front of him and says "Are you new here sir?" "Yes, why do you ask?" "We could help you get around if you want." says the white filly "I guess that will be all right. So then, what are your names?." "I'm Scootaloo." says the orange filly "I'm Applebloom." says the yellow filly "And I'm Sweetie Belle. And we are-" says the white filly Soarin then had to cover his ears by what he heard next "THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS! YAY!" all three of them yelled Soarin then uncovers his ears and says "Wow, well then I'm glad I met you so-" "Hey, do you want a tour of Ponyville?" "I guess so." he says with a confused look All of a sudden all three of them shouted "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS TOUR GUIDES! YAY!" "What did I get myself into?" Soarine says to himself as he was dragged by all three fillies. After a while, they dragged him to the library, to a place he forgot the name of but knows it is a clothing store, Surger Cube Corner, the school, Sweet Apple Acres and after all of that the young fillies went there seperate ways. Soarin then realizes that it is time for the party starts. "Wow, time sure does fly by fast. Better get to the party." So he then flies off towards where the party is being hosted and when he lands, he then brushed back his mane and set his goggles in his forehead. He then walks up to the door and as soon as he knocks on it, the same pink mare greeted him and says to him "Glad you could make it, this would not have been a party without the new pony here." She then grabs him by the hoof and then the music starts playing. Then the pink pony then showed her to many ponies that were there and there seems to be almost the entire population is there and then she says "Well now, why don't I introduce you to my friends over here." She then drags him over to five mares and what appears to be two stallions near by. "Hi, welcome. My name is Twilight Sparkle." says the lavender pony then one by on the others came up to him "My good sir," says the white mare with the purple mane "My name is Rarity." "I'm...I'm Fluttershy." says a nervous yellow pink maned pony "Howdy sir, I'm Applejack." says a orange yellow maned mare "Nice to see you again." "Same here Ditzy." Soarin says when he sees a familliar face among them Then the two stallions came up and the red one says "I'm Big Mac." "Mental note, do NOT get on his bad side." thought Soarin after he sees ho big he is then the last one says "I'm Caramel." before he could say anything, Twilight says "Hey Pinkie, where is Rainbow?" "She was just finishing up clearing some clouds." says Pinkie "By the way, What is your name sir?" says Rarity "Well, this was bound to come up." thought Soarin. He then takes a deep breath and says "My name is-" "Soarin!" screams somepony from the entrence. And everypony turned to see Rainbow Dash at the doorway. At first he just stood there but then before he could do anything, Rainbow came running up and stops right in front of him and says "Its so good to see you again, even though is has been months. And what brings you here?" "Well, Spitfire decided that I need a break and some R&R."It will be better if I don't tell her about my feelings yet. he thinks to himself and then says "So I decided to come here and see what this place is like." He then thought he saw her stood up straight and says "Well now, glad you could be here and I'll gladly show you around the place." "Actually, three young fillies named Sweetie Belle, Aplebloom and Scootaloo showed me around already." "Well then that should save us plenty of time for me to show you some of my stunts that I have been practicing." "I'm looking forward to it." So then the party went on for some hours until it was getting near midnight, and it was time for everypony to go and one by one they all left and then Soarin says "I just remember, I don't have a place to stay." "You could stay at my place." says Rainbow Soarin then was about to thank her until she then says "But you get the couch, ok." "Sure." So then both of them flew off as soon as everypony was gone and says goodnight and went towards Dash's cloud home. As soon as the arrived, Rainbow gets him a blanket and a pillow and says "Goodnight Soar." "Goddnight Dash." Then he sets up his bedding on the couch and then he lies down and thinks So far so good. And she just called me Soar! And somehow I do not mind.
Chapter 3: Day One.Chapter 3: Day One Soarin finds himself flying through a sea of clouds. While at the same time, feeling the wind through his mane, his tail and his feathers. He then lands on a cloud and lays down on what it feels like a giant pillow. Until he hears something and when he looks up, he sees a beutiful cyan-coated mare. He then regonizes Rainbow Dash, and then flies up to her but before he could get to her, she then flies off but not fast. So he then follows her and when he catches up to her, she then flies circles around her and Soarin plays along. After what appears to be hours of what some could say that they were dancing in the sky, Soarin lands on a cloud on his back and Rainbow lands on top of him and then they wrap there hooves around each other and she says "I love you Soarin." "I love you too." And just before they kissed he fell through the clouds screaming then all of a sudden "THUNCK!" After that, Soarin then looks around and realizes that he was dreaming and that he fell off of the couch. It took him a while to find his bearings and that he is in Rainbow Dash's house. He then looks outside and sees that it is early in the morning and thinks when he rubs the back of his head with a hoof "Maybe I should do something Dash. But would that be rushing it, what would she think. This is harder then I thought it would be." He then finally decides to make Dash breakfest. So he then went and found the kitchen and sees that she seems to have some dirty dishes laying around and when he was about to decide on what to do, he hears a grunt behind him and when he turns around, he sees Rainbow Dash. And from the look of her, she gotten out of the shower "She looks good with that wet mane of hers." "I see you are up already." "Yes I am. And I was wondering what is for breakfest?" "Well, I was going to make some toast and eggs." "That sounds fine." So then he went to sit at the table while Rainbow cook up the breakfest. And while she was doing that, Soarin thinks to himself "So then, what to do today? I guess I could hang out with her for a few days then I'll ask her to go on a date with me and go from there." After about an hour, Rainbow comes into the dining hall with two plates, on each hoof and she put one in front of Soarin and after that, she sat down and both of them started eating in silence. After some time, Soarin says "So, what is the plans for today?" "Well, Since today is going to be sunny, how about a race?" "This could be a good chance to impress her." "That sounds fun." "Alright, since we are done with the food, let us go race." So then, both of them left Dash's home, they went off and landed on a cloud and Dash says "Alright, we will race the entire length of Ponyville and we will do three laps around. And this cloud is the starting place." "Sounds good Dash." "Alright, On your mark" Both of them crouch down "Should I go easy on her?" "Get set." They then unfurl there wings "No, she may not want me to go easy on her." "Go!" And there off, at first Rainbow is in the lead but then Soarin gets right beside her and they are neck in neck. But as soon as they are on there second lap, Soarin pulls ahead "Come on Dash, if you want to be in the Wonderbolts, you have to give it your all." And with that, Dash pulls beside him and says "Hey, I'll give it my all and 20% more." She then pulls up ahead and Soarin thinks "She is good, awesome, cool and cute all at the same time." And for the remainder of the lap, Dash was ahead. Then on the third lap, Soarin pulls up along side her and tries to pull on ahead until Rainbow says "Not so fast." All of a sudden, a cone forms up around her and then Soarin realizes what she is about to do. "BOOM" A Sonic Rainboom was formed and Soarin just stopped in mid air and sees a long streak of rainbow right behind Dash. "She is not just awesome or cute, she is amazingly wonderful." And after that, Dash came up to him and says "So then Soarin, how was that?" "That was amazing and awesome." Then a blush appears on Dash's cheeks, but before Soarin sees it she turns her head to the side and says "Thanks, I'm just awesome that way." "And cute." Soarin says to himself Rainbow then quicly turns her head to him and says "What was that?" Soarin then realizes that he said that out loud he tries to mumble an excuse, but before he could says anything, she puts a hoof on his lips and when she did that, Soarin's heart seem to have skip a beat and she says "No need to apologize for that." she then gets close to him and says "Besides, I think you are handsome yourself." "Am I dreaming?" Before he could respond, se then says with a nervous look "So then...how about we go to Surger Cube Corner." "Sure thing." So then both of them flew off towards the gingerbread like house and landed at the front door. When they went in Pinkie Pie ran up and says "Gooooood morning you two. Did you like my party last night, did ya did ya?" "Yes Pinkie, I did." says Soarin "All right. So what can I get you two?" "Some apple pie will be nice." "Okie dokie lokie." she says and hops behind the counter and grabs a pie and says "One apple pie, coming right up." After she gave them there pie, Soarin and Dash sat down at a table and talked about what they been doing since the wedding. After they were done talking Soarin says "Well, that was great, how about I tell you a bit about myself." "Really Soarin! I would like that." "All right, where should I begin, Well I grew up in Cloudsdale and went to flight school where I made a few freinds who are Spitfire, Fire Streak and Fleetfoot whom you know are all in the Wonderbolts with me. My father was in the Wonderbolts himself. Both he and my mother met at a show of his and from what they told me, when he did his grand finale, she thought she felt some sort of connection with him. So both he and her went out on a date the next day and before they realize it, they fell in love and gotten married in just three months. And then I was born a year later." "So enough about me, how about you." He then sees that Dash is a little bit nervous and when he sees this, he says "If you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to." "No, I should tell somepony this." She then breaths in deeply and says "Well, As for where I came from, I think it was in Cloudsdale also. But to be honest, I never knew my parents, I was an orphan." Soarin was surprised to hear this and was feeling sorry for her. After a few minutes, she continues "But I was raised by an uncle of mine who took me in and cared for me. And he tought me everything I knew and sends me to Fight camp where I met Gilda and Fluttershy. And there is where I learned about the Wonderbolts and my dream began and after that I moved here to Ponyville. From that moment on, I trained to be the best flyer ever." And when Soarin heard all this, he then realizes that Rainbow Dash is the type of mare that could do anything if she puts her mind to it. "Wow, that is some life you had." "Yea, it was fun and cool." And after that, they left the place and payed for the pie and flew around while Dash does her weather job. And then after a while, it is getting near past noon. And Dash says "Hey, why don't you come with me to the park. Me and my friends are having a picnic there." "I would love to." says Soarin happily "Alright." So then both of them walked towards the park and after arriving, they see Dash's friends and the same two colts that he met at the party. When Twilight sees them, she says "Finally Dash, you made it." They then sat down and talked about many things. Then out of the corner of Soarins eye, he sees the cutie mark crusaders playing near them and probably thinking of ways to earn there cutie marks. He then turns to Big Mac and Caramel and says "So, what are you two up too?" Big Mac says "Well, I'm just here with Fluttershy and Caramel is here with Applejack." "So not much." says Caramel Soarin was surprised that this big red stallion could fall for shuch a shy little mare and Caramel seems to like AJ a lot from what he could tell. But what surprised him more is what Caramel says next "You like Rainbow Dash do ya?" He then was speechless for a few minutes and his face turned red as Big Macs coat. "Yes! I knew it, you not just like her, you love her." says Caramel "Well...I...I do like her." says Soarin with a nervous voice "Well then tell her you do like her." "But how?" "Well, I told Fluttershy by taking her to a hill to watch the sunset and I myself was nervous about it. But when I told her I love her, she said the same thing to me and now she is my mare friend." says Big Mac "Or, you could just out right say it. When I fell in love with AJ, it was some time at the wedding that I was lucky enough to be at. And I saw her at the reception in that wonderful dress, I sort of fell in love right away. And then after about a moth after that, I told her at her apple stand. And to my surprise, she likes me back and we been together ever since." says Caramel "Wow, thanks you two. I hope to learn something from this." says Soarin And after some time, they packed up and all of them went home and Soarin went with Dash to her cloud home. When both of them went inside, Soarin says "Hey Dash." "Yea Soarin." "I was wondering if by chance you want to hang out again tomorrow?" He then hears a gasp from her and then "Of course, I would love to." And before he realizes it, she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and she went upstairs leaving Soarin standing there with his mane standing on edge. "She just kissed me! I might have a chance after all."
Chapter 4: True FeelingsChapter 4: True Feelings It has been a week since that day, and Soarin knew that he should do something special for Dash. He first thought of getting her flowers. But does not know what type she likes, so he finally decides he should go on a date with her. He first off found a good resteraunt but he did not know which one to take Dash to so, so he decides to go back. On his way back to Dash's place, he sees two pegasi flying towards him and when they gotten close, he regonizes them as Fleetfoot and Fire Streak. "Hey there you two, what brings you here?" says Soarin as soon as they landed in front of him "Nothing much, just came to check up on you." says Fleetfoot "And as for you Streak, are you having fun with your marefreind?" says Soarin teasing Streak then laughs while blushing and says "Very funny Soar, me and Fleet here are just going steady for now." "Good for you two." "What about you? Have you made your move on your mare?" says Fleetfoot Soarin was surprised when he hears this. He blushes for a bit and says "Well...its kind of tough but I know I'm getting some where." "Well better hurry, your vacation is almost up." says Fire Streak "Well I was going to ask her out tonight and tell her how I feel about her then." "Well then, hope it goes well, and by the way, who is this mare that you like?" Soarin thinks about this and decides to tell his friends "Well if you must know, the mares name is Rainbow Dash." He hears a gasp from both of them and then Fire says "You mean the future prospect wonderbolt! Wow, just wow." "I have to agree with Streak here," says Fleetfoot "You are one lucky stallion to fall for her just like that." "That is enough you two, and don't worry, I have it all covered." "Let me guess, she makes you sleep on the couch am I right?" says Streak "Yes, why?" "That is what Fleet did to me when I spent some nights with her." "At least now I allow you to sleep in bed with me and no need to go into details about that." says Feetfoot with a blush on her. They all then laugh until a pink blur comes running up. "Wonder what took Pinkie so long?" thought Soarin Then the pink blur stop right in front of them and says "Hi there, I'm Pinkie Pie, are you two new here, are you two together," big gasp "We should throw a party for you two, please come by Suger Cube Corner tonight for it." She then went off with both Fire Streak and Fleetfoot with confused looks until Soarin says "Don't worry, she is always like that." "Well then, how about you show us around Ponyville and tell us what you did for the past week." So Soarin then shows them around the town while at the same time introducing to some other ponies like Carrot Top, Bon Bon, Lyra, Ace, Cherry Cola and some other ponies that live in town. Soarin then realizes that it is getting near for the party to start. "We better get to the party. Don't want to be late for it." "Know what Soarin, you should tell Dash how you feel at this party." says Fleetfoot "I will try." he says with a nervous look So then they went off towards Suger Cube Corner and when they went inside, everypony that are in there yelled "SURPRISE!" "Wow, this is amazing." says Fire Streak So then the party went off well for some hours, until Rainbow says "Ohmygosh! Two Wonderbolts here! First one now three! This is awesome!" Fleetfoot and Fire Streak giggled at this and then Dash says "So, are you two engaged yet because my monthly Wonderbolt magazine has barely any specifics since you two got together about a month and a half ago." Soarin giggles and thinks "If I remember correctly, those two got together on accident when a photographer took a picture of them in bed together and they were really embarrassed about it. But it did bring them together and closer in the end, so it was all good." "Why yes Dash, we are still together." says Fleetfoot "That is awesome!" says Dash So they all continued talking until Soarin decides it is time to tell Dash how he feels for her. So he went up to Dash and says "Hey Dash, can I talk to you alone for a bit?" "Sure thing Soar." Fleetfoot sees them walking away together and says to Fire Streak "I think he finally is going to tell her." "That would be nice." says Fire Streak Meanwhile, outside Soarin and Rainbow stood outside without saying anything. Until Soarin says "Hey Dash, We been together for a while now haven't we?" "Yes we have." "Well, how do I put this, ever since I met you at that wedding, and even before that, well, I sort of like you more then just a friend. And you are cute, funny and awesome in your own way." When he looks at Dash, he sees her with a surprised look, but then she calms her self down and says "Well if you must know Soarin, I sort of like you also." Soarin was then surprised to hear this and then what happened next surprised him even more. Rianbow jumps at him and wraps her hooves around his neck and kisses him on the lips. He then wraps his hooves around her and kisses her lips back. And after they broke up, Dash says "That was amazing." "Yes it was. Just as you are." Dash then blushes and both of them kissed again. At the doorway to the bakery, Fleetfoot and Pinkie Pie sees this and Pinkie says "Oh my! Dash has a colt friend, we should throw them a party!" "How about we just add it to this party." says Fleetfoot "Your right!" she then runs back in and yells "Hey everypony, Dash has a colt friend now! And it is Soarin." And at the same time, Dash and Soarin heard that and both of them began to blush and Dash says "That is Pinkie for ya, always ready for another party." "I don't mind it at all." So then the party lasted twice as long and after everypony left, and congragulated Soarin and Dash and Dash's friends are all happy to see them together. Soarin took Dash home after they all left on by one and as soon as they got home, Soarin was about to go to the couch when Dash says "If you want to, you could come in bed with me." Soarin then says "I would love to my love." before he followed her he thinks "Best. Night. Ever!"
Chapter 5: Last DayChapter 5: Last Day It has been a week since Soarin and Dash became more then just friends. Even though Soarin wish the week did not went by so fast, part of him wants to stay but he knows that he has to go back to the Wonderbolts. On his last vacation day, Soarin woke up in bed right beside Rainbow Dash with there hooves around each other. He then kissed her on the muzzle and she then stirs in her sleep and open her eyes and they looked into each other eyes until Dash says "Good morning Soar." "Good morning Dashie, sleep well?" "Yes, I did." Then they kissed and then Dash says "So, whats for breakfest?" "I'm thinking something special since this will be my last day here." he says with a bit of dissapointment in his voice. "What is wrong?" says Dash sitting up when she notice the sound in his voice "Well," Soarin says while getting on his back "I'll be heading on back to Cloudsdale tommorrow and well, I'll be seeing you only a few times a month." "Not unless I come to see your shows." says Rainbow laying on his chest Soarin then laughs and says "I guess your right about that. Oh that reminds me, we have a show in just one week and I could get you a VIP pass." "And a chance to see you afterwards?" "Of course Dashie." he then kisses her forhead and hugs her close to him. Aferwards, Dash then got out of bed and heads downstairs to make breakfest and Soarin got up also to see if he could help. Instead, he then sat at the table and waited a few minutes until Dash came on out with the food and then they ate for a while until Soarin says "So then Dash, whats the plan for today?" "Well, I was going to take care of the weather, even though its going to be a clear day today." "I'm sure you can do it in 10 seconds flat." "Of course I could." says Dash "Well then, we could go see some of your friends today." "That sounds great." After they are done, they took there dishes to the sink and Soarin could not resist to give her a quick kiss on the cheek, but she only smiled and says "Can't help yourself huh." "How could I? You are the most farest of all mares." Dash then blushes and says "You silver tounged stallion, you always know what to say." They then went out and Soarin decides to help Dash out with the weather and then afterwards, they decide to go to see Fluttershy first. They decided to walk there just to enjoy the moment together. After about an hour, they arrived at Fluttershy's cottage and then Dash knocks on the door only to be greated by Big Mac. "Big Mac! I thought you usually get up early to harvest the apples." says Dash "Of course I do. I just came out here to drop off some apples to Fluttershy." "Well we just wanted to see Fluttershy and is she here?" "Eeeyup." he then walks on back to Sweet Apple Acres and then Soarin and Dash went inside and sees Fluttershy on a couch and both of them see that she is humming a song to herself until Dash says "Hey Shy." She then gave out a squeak and says "Oh Dash, Soarin, I did not see you there. Welcome." "How is everything here Fluttershy? And was Big Mac really bringing apples?" says Dash "Why yes he did bring apples. And everything here is fine. And he even told me some happy news." "What is it?" says Soarin "I'll let him tell you." Dash then realizes she will never get it out of her, so they just talked for a while until Soarin says "We should go Rainbow." "Right Soar, well see ya later Shy." "Alright, bye." So they went on towards Sweet Apple Acres and see that Big Mac and AJ and Caramel are in the fields. So they decide to go on up to them and when they got close, AJ sees them and says "Why howdy there, how are things going between you two?" "Everything is going great AJ. How about you?" says Rainbow "Well for starters," she then takes a deep breath and then says "Caramel just ask me to marry him." "And you said am I right?" says Soarin "Why of course I did." "Well then congradulations Applejack, I guess that is what you told Fluttershy Mac?" says Rainbow "Eeeyup." he says with a smile And after all of that and talking some more, they then said there goodbyes and went off towards the Library where Twilight lives. And when they arrived, they were greated by Spike and he says "Welcome you two love pegasi, are you here to see Twilight?" "Yes we are." says Soarin "Twilight! Dash and Soarin are here to see you." "Send them in Spike." says whom they know is Twilight Ad when they went inside, they see books piled up on one side of the room and Twilight sitting in the middle levitating some books around her. "Hello there you two," she says "please, sit down." So they all sat down and talked about many things for about an hour and Soarin says "Did you know AJ is getting married?" "Yes I did, and yes Pinkie Pie knows and she is getting a party ready and Rarity is already getting her wedding dress prepared. Wow, I'm so happy for my friends. AJ getting married, Fluttershy and you Rainbow have a colt friend. Who knows who will get one next." "Maybe you Twilight." says Dash "Me! That would be difficult. Who would go out with me?" "Maybe somepony like you." says Soarin They all then laugh at the idea and Rainbow says "We should go, bye Twi." "Bye Dash and Soarin." "Bys Twilight." says Soarin So they went off towards Suger Cube Corner and see Pinkie Pie outside with the Cake twins and she says "Hey there you two, how are you?" "Fine Pinkie, and you?" says Soarin "Well, the party is all ready for AJ and Caramel and now I'm babysitting these twins." "Pinkie." says Pound "Pie." says Pumpkin "Yes you two, can you get any more cuter then you already are?" And they all laughed at this and talked some more until Soarin notices Rarity and says "Hey Rare, how are you?" "Well, AJs dress is ready and now I'm just taking a stroll. Hi Pinkie." she then says to Pinkie "Hello Rarity." says Pinkie "How is everything at the Ratity?" says Soarin "Well, I do have to watch over my sister and her freinds for a little bit this afternoon and that is pretty much it." So then they all taked for a little bit until Rarity says "Well, I have to go now. It was nice meeting all of you." "We should get going also." says Soarin "Bye Pinkie." says Dash "Bye you two." says Pinkie waving her hoof After they left, Soarin says "So then what now?" "Well, if you want to I could come along with you to Cloudsdale." "I would like that very much." Soarin says with a bit of joy in his voice So then when they went home, Soarin says "How about we make this night one to remember." Dash then kisses him and says "I agree." and both of them went into her house. It is then morning and Soarin finds himself laying on top of Rainbow and thinks "That was a night I would remember." Then Dash wakes up and says "Well, that was some night." "Yea, to bad I have to go back to the Wonderbolts." So then both of them got up, took a shower and ate breakfest and then both of them flew off towards Cloudsdale. It took them about a couple of hours to reach the Wonderbolts HQ and when they arrived, they see Fleetfoot and Fire Streak there and Soarin says "Hello there." "Hi there Soarin." says Fleetfoot "See your back already." "Yep, And thanks Rainbow for coming along." "No problem." says Rainbow and then they both gave a quick kiss on the lips and Dash went on back home Soarin was watching her for a few minutes until Fire Streak says "Don't worry, you will see her again." "Thanks Fire." he says looking back in the direction Rainbow took "I know I will." Then all three of them went inside and got ready for the show that they were doing in just one week. Soarin then found himself doing better at his flying skills and he was doing well. After practice, Spitfire came up to him and says "So Soarin, how was your vacation?" "It was amazing Spit." says Soarin "And I'm planning on doing something for Dash at the show next week." "Nice, glad you are happy." So then Soarin got started on his special move for Dash and he knows he has to make it something special.
Chapter 6: The Show and a SurpriseChapter 6: The Show and a Surprise The day of the show has arrived. Soarin is getting ready in the wonderbolts locker room. All he could think about is the show and Rainbow Dash is going to be there. "Hope she is there. What am I saying, of course she will be there." Hey Soarin, is your mare friend going to be there?" Soarin turns around and sees Fire Streak and says "Of course she will be." "Well, hope it all goes well for you and her." After Soarin and the other Wonderbolts are ready, after a while when the announcer, introduced them, they then took off into the skies. They then did all of there usual tricks and Soarin then took a quick galnce towards the VIP section. And to his delight, he sees a rainbow colored mane and cyan colored coated pegasus sitting in the stands. He then continues to do all of his usual tricks along with his fellow Wonderbolts. And after a few hours, they then did one big final trick which as usual made the crowd go wild. he and all the other Wonderbolts then went into the locker rooms. After a good shower and clean up, Soarin then sees Fleetfoot coming towards him says "Hey Soar, your mare is here talking to Spitfire." "Thanks Fleetfoot." he says with a bit of joy in his voice He then went off and sees Spitfire and Rainbow Dash on the field talking and when he went up to them, he says "Hi there Dashie." "Hey Soarin." says Dash with a smile "Good, glad you could make it. Becuase I have some news that you two may like very much." Then both Soarin and Rainbow look at Spitfire with surprised looks and Dash says "What is that Spitfire?" Unknown to them, all of the other Wonderbolts all come out of the locker rooms and came towards them. After a while, Spitfire says "Well Rainbow, you sure you want to be part of the wonderbolts?" "Of course, it has been my dream since I was a filly." says Dash exitedly "Well then, if you must know, there is a Wonderbolts tryouts this weekend and you are welcome to come." All of a sudden, Rainbow Dash gave out a fan girl like squeal and says "Oh my gosh! Yes I would come. I can't wait to tell my friends about this." She then flew up into the sky and did a Sonic Rainboom and came down and tackles Soarin while giving him a big kiss on the lips. Then Soarin says "You do realize we are in public." Then Dash looks around with a blush on her face and says "Oops," she then giggles and gets off of Soarin and says "Well, I'm just happy that I'm finnally going to be in the Wonderbolts." So then after she went home to practice mre of her tricks and tell her friends, Soarin then realizes that he will be spending more time with his new mare friend "This is has been the most awesome day ever." Epilogue It has been a few months since that day. Applejack is married to Caramel, Rainbow is part of the Wonderbolts, Soarin and her are now known as The Wonderbolt Couple wich requires them to put on a show just the two of them, and Soarin and Dash then hears that Fluttershy and Big Mac are getting married as well as Fleetfoot and Fire Streak. And at the end of one show during The Grand Galloping Gala, Soarin decides that this will be the night that he will ask Dash a certain question. When he and Dash are together at a table he says "Hey Dash, we have been together for some time now haven't we?" "Yes Soar we are." "Well...I was wondering if by chance if you will marry me?" Then a loud squeal is heard and Dash says "Of course I'll marry you." Then Soarin and Dash then kissed each other and Soarin thinks "Now this just got alot cooler."
