Twilight was an old mare, by most standards. She still hadn't found the ability to go along with her life as an alicorn properly; still clinging to the vestiges of her past life. But, with her own eyes watching over her from beyond, perhaps she can find companionship? Perhaps she can find another being who understands and can help her? Or perhaps she can find resolution in her heart?

What is death about anyway? What does it mean for a sapient being that is thought to be immortal? And, the big one, what is she supposed to do after she watched herself die?
