One day Twilight was walking over to Carousal boutique to see Rarity. She couldn't wait to see her friend as she had a lot of fun things planned to do with her. She knocked on Rarities door and waited for an answer. There wasn't any so she waited longer. She then knocked again. It seemed like Rarity went somewhere. She knocked again and called out.
"Rarity?" Twilight called. There was no answer. She knocked again on Carousal Boutique's door. It was silent and all the doors were off inside. The door was also locked to. Twilight jiggled the door handle to try and get in but that was deemed useless. Maybe Rarity was on a few errands. Rarity always had something to do as she was a seamstress and a fashion pony she was always looking for new sowing supplies and fabric that she could use as she always made sure to stock up so she won't run out since she made dresses for customers a lot
Twilight wondered if Sweetie Belle knew where Rarity was but she didn't want to bother Sweetie Belle since Sweetie Belle usually hung out with her friends and it would be rude. She knocked again but loudly as she thought that Rarity might be asleep and she might have come back later but she wanted to see Rarity now. She couldn't wait.
"Rarity!?" Twilight called loudly. Twilight was awarded with silence. It made Twilight feel uneasy. Was Rarity with one of her friends? Twilight started to get an unpleasant feeling as she started to get upset as she wanted to see her friend but didn't know where her friend was. As she knocked even louder her composure started to break. She cried out for Rarity. She started to bang on the door and scream for Rarity as she lost her composure and was getting scared that she didn't know where Rarity was.
Twilight looked around frantically as she was upset over not being able to see Rarity and scared that Rarity wasn't home. She wondered where Rarity was as she couldent remember if Rarity said that she had plans to go somewhere that day. She looked around franticly. She ran to Ponyville Schoolhouse to try and find Sweetie Belle but as she looked around she noticed that Sweetie Belle and her friends were back at the Cutie Mark Crusaders clubhouse. She decided to ask there first. She ran as fast as she could. When she got there she scrambled up the ramp and saw Sweetie Bell with her friends there.
"Sweetie Belle!" Twilight started to say but was out of breath. She hated when she ran out of breath and had to say something that was bothering her but she had to get her breath caught up to her or she would pass out while not being able to say what she was going to say to her friend and Cutie Mark Crusader member.
"Twilight! Is everything alright?" Sweetie Belle asked. Twilight tried to catch her breath and spoke.
"I went over to see Rarity but Rarity wasn't there. I knocked repeatedly but nopony answered the door." Twilight asked.
"Try Sugarcube Corner. She hangs out there sometimes." Sweetie Belle said.
"Okay thanks!" Twilight said as she ran back down the ramp off to Sugarcube Corner. She didn't stop for anypony and didn't say hello to anypony as she was to busy trying to find her friend. She she got there she burst in and started to speak.
"Pinkie!?" Twilight yelled over customers talking. Pinkie spotted her and waved happily.
"Hi Twilight! How are you?" Pinkie asked. Twilight ran up and asked the question that she wanted to know the answer to.
"Where's Rarity!? I looked at Carousal Boutique but she wasn't there and I asked Sweetie Belle and she didn't know! Have you seen her?!" Twilight talked getting upset. She couldn't believe she had to do this
"I've been to busy to know where Rarity is. I'm sorry I've been filling orders all day." Pinkie said.
"She didn't come over here?!" Twilight yelled a little to loudly.
"No not today. I'm sure she will be back. She's probably helping somepony out. Did you ask Sweetie Belle?" Pinkie asked.
"Yes and she didn't know either!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Don't worry Twilight she will show up. She's probably on an errand." Pinkie said. Twilight was getting even more worried but didn't show that to Pinkie. Twilight thanked her and ran off. She was determined to keep looking for her friend. She got a bad feeling growing and she started to miss Rarity. Tears leaked from her eyes as she got very upset.
She cried out in fright as she couldn't find her friend anywhere. She hoped that Rarity didn't go missing. That thought scared her the most. She shook from fright. She was so upset that it almost made her get sick with fright. Rarity wasn't anywhere. She hoped Rarity wasn't lost. That thought made her despair. She sadly walked home. When she got home she realized that the reason why she felt this way was because she missed Rarity.
Twilight missed Rarity so much that it scared her that Rarity was gone. She wanted to see Rarity again. Tears started to leak from her eyes as she broke down in sobs. She checked everywhere where Rarity might be. She didn't have any clues to where Rarity was and nopony seemed to know where she was either. It was starting to frighten her and scare her. She sobbed loudly.
She wondered where Rarity could be. She missed Rarity and plus she had a good reason to try and find Rarity because Sweetie Belle probably can't eat because Rarity wouldn't be around to feed her. That also worried her. If Rarity didn't come back and didn't feed Sweetie Belle then she would have to feed Sweetie Belle while she looked for Rarity. Twilight started to try and calm herself down by trying to be rational.
"Rarity went on a trip and she will be back." Twilight told herself trying to steady her breathing. It wasn't working. Twilight was panicking. She felt sick from fright. Tears were streaking out of her eyes. She thought about the bad possibility of Rarity never coming back. That's what worried her the most.
Twilight came up with possibilities for what is going on. One Rarity was on a short trip, two she was on an errand, three Rarity disappeared, four Rarity was abducted and five she was dead. The fifth one made her shake from fright. She hated to think of the possibility that Rarity was killed. She just decided to wait it out and see if Rarity would come back
She waited while trying to keep herself calm. She kept telling herself that Rarity would come back and that she shouldn't worry as she tried to be logical over this whole thing. She hoped Sweetie Belle didn't get worried or Twilight would lose even more hope about seeing Rarity.
Twilight started to think that she would never see Rarity again. When she thought that she burst into tears and sobbed hysterically. She had so many memories that she had made with Rarity and that's all she had left. She faced the fact that Rarity was never coming back as she was either lost or dead. She rocked back and forth as she cried.
As she cried she decided that she would wait till late to see if Rarity came back if not she would get even more frightened. She sobbed and shook.
"RARITY!!!!!!" Twilight screamed loudly. She was so scared. She has never been so scared in her life. She hated the thought that she would never see Rarity again. If Rarity didn't arrive soon she would send a letter to a princess and started to think about who they should get to harness the element of generosity.
She waited as she longed for her generous fashion friend. She didn't want to lose Rarity as Rarity was so nice and was Twilights best friend. She still continued. She became hopeless over those moments as Rarity didn't seem to return from wherever she went. She wondered how long it was to take till her friends notice that Rarity hasn't returned yet either.
All her friends and her sister seemed to not worry thinking Rarity would be back. She wondered how late till Celestia would notice and then call for a search. She hoped Rarity would return before then. She didn't want to go through with that. She couldn't remember how long Rarity went on trips. She knew they shouldn't take to long.
She remembered all the fun times she had with Rarity as tears leaked out of her eyes. She thought on the possible scenario of Rarity being declared missing and Celestia sending out guards and search parties to find Rarity as the search stretched out into years and they still couldn't find her. That thought made Twilight cry even more.
Twilight waited for a bit more but decided that she would never see Rarity again. They would have to find a replacement for her and find a good home for Sweetie Belle. Twilight glumly walked outside missing her friend. She feared that Rarity may not come back and will still be missing late tomorrow night
Twilight ran up to her room in sadness as she cried. She couldn't stand waiting any longer. She cried her heart out as she cared about her friend as she thought about the prospect of Rarity hurt and lost somewhere or even dead. She buried her head into her pillow and sobbed and wailed all of what she was holding back all day now. She just cried it out as tears stained her sheets and her pillow.
She was glad that she didn't let go of her emotions earlier or every pony would have worried about her. Twilight let out her sadness for her friend as she would never see again. She cried and sobbed. She thought about all the dresses Rarity made and cried even louder. Her sheets were stained from tears.
She wondered if all of her friends were asleep or were they starting to worry to. She couldn't believe that Rarity might be gone for good as that was what she assumed as she thought that the worst has happened. She wiped her eyes with a tissue which she got with her magic as she continued to cry but she toned down her crying as she didn't want to cause commotion. She sobbed softly as tears leaked out of her eyes.
She then went to sleep tired as she cried herself to sleep. In her dream she dreamed about Rarity and the next morning she woke up and had breakfast as she woke herself up she also remembered about how she missed Rarity as Rarity wasn't around town yesterday. She became extremely upset and scared as she thought of the prospect that Rarity was still not back yet. She started to sob all over again.
She decided to get herself together and make herself decent as she got breakfast making herself eat so she wouldn't make herself starve from worrying about Rarity. She hoped Rarity was safe. She ate her breakfast and again got scared and feared for Rarity. She wished Rarity was here and she hoped that Rarity didn't go missing. She was afraid that her fears would turn out to be true and Rarity was missing or dead.
She couldn't stand that thought. She went outside and got the mail from Derpy not even looking at the letters or the addresses or the ponies or the companies they were from. She put them in her house and slipped on her hoodie putting the hood over her head so ponies couldn't see her face and the depressed expression on it and she decided to walk to Sugarcube Corner for some baked goods for later on. As she walked there she kept her head down so nopony could see her expression and try to ask her what was wrong and try and cheer her up when she told them.
She thought about Rarity still not being there. She went in and stood in the back of the line. As the line shortened she got out her money and as she got to the front she picked out what she wanted not even wanting to look as she already knew what she wanted and she didn't want the cashier pony to know her expression.
"Muffin with raisins and a coffee." Twilight said. She was handed her food and drink and then went over to get napkins as a white coated pony walked past her. She grunted as she was bumped into.
"Excuse me." Twilight said to the pony as she wasn't looking on where she was going. She decide to look up a little after the pony passed her so she didn't bump into things.
"No worries darling!" The pony said in a soft sounding voice. Twilight paid the pony no mind as she needed to find Rarity. The pony walked out of the store and walked over to a group of ponies as Twilight also walked out. Twilight walked back to her home sad that Rarity still wasn't back. She despaired as she might not see Rarity ever again. Twilight walked back to her library and shut herself in. Spike came in after also leaving Twilights place to get breakfast.
"Hey Spike." Twilight said sadly. Spike said hello but noticed that Twilight wasn't in the mood so he didn't bother her. Twilight walked to her room and stayed in her room so she could cry alone. She let out her tears. She missed Rarity so much that it hurt. Her heart ached as she wanted to see her friend so badly. She closed and locked her door.
A few minutes later another knock on her door was heard as Twilight groaned. She decided to fade into her book and ignore it as it was probably a sales pony trying to get her to spend money for something useless.
"Whatever your selling I'm not buying!" Twilight yelled annoyed that she had to deal with this today.
"I'm not selling anything-" the pony said but was cut off.
"Then go away!" Twilight yelled.
"But-" the pony said.
"I said go away! Don't bother me!" Twilight yelled.
"I-" It said but Twilight ignored the door. After a while the pony left and Twilight went back to read while relaxing. Twilight didn't have any more visitors which she was glad as she was to upset to deal with them. After a few hours Twilight went out wearing her hoodie as it concealed her face so nopony could see that she was sad.
A few hours later during night Twilight was standing outside as a pony stood next to her but Twilight couldn't see at her side as it was to dark.
"Well hello there! What are you doing out here at a night like this?" The pony asked.
"I'm waiting till the search for my friend Rarity succeeds in finding her safe. She went on a business trip and never came back. I miss her so much." Twilight said softly.
"I'm so sorry to hear that." The pony said wrapping its arms around Twilight. Twilight smelled a nice smell of perfume. She liked the hug but was confused at the hug as the pony was fairly new to her at least she thought. They broke away from the hug and Twilight turned back to standing forward.
"Thanks I needed that!" Twilight said wiping at her tears. The pony levitated a tissue over to her and Twilight took it and thanked her.
"Thank you!" Who are you anyway?" Twilight asked.
"I'm the pony who came to your door but shouted at me to get away."
"Oh....well I'm still not buying anything." Twilight said turning her back on her.
"I'm not selling you anything. I just got back from my business trip Twilight its me. You know? Rarity!" Rarity said. Twilight ripped her hoodie off and hugged Rarity tightly and wailed. Rarity kissed Twilight on the head.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you while thinking that you were a sales pony!" " Twilight wailed as she sobbed. Rarity held her as she forgave her and rubbed her back. Twilight was overjoyed.
"I thought you were dead!!" Twilight cried in relief.
"Why would I be dead? It was a business trip I was gone for one day sweetie." Rarity replied happily.
"You should have known I was coming back. You shouldn't have worried!" Rarity exclaimed happily.
"I'm sorry." Twilight said.
"Don't be sorry it was okay to be scared but it was irrational. I'm safe nothing happened to me." Rarity said. Twilight smiled as they both hugged as the situation was all over as Twilight was finally put at ease as the night went on a peaceful moon glowed in a happy night sky as Twilight and Rarity hung out and told each other stories as they fell asleep together.
