Author's Note
This is my first story so I hope you liked the first chapter. I'm not a good writer but so be it.
A new world
Captain Plas walked into the captains quarters and was prepared to get along time of sleep.He had already got into his night gown,took a sonic shower and used the calcium regenerator on his teeth.Sudenly the red alert sounded across the ship. He ran out the door, grabbed his starfleet clothing and headed for the turbo lift.
" Bridge", he stated and the beep beep sound of the elevator made him wish he was asleep. While inside the turbolift, he put his cloths on.
He entered the bridge and said," REPORT"?
"There's a temporal anomaly two thousand meters of the port bow".
"Can we use the tractor beam to pull it away"?
"No", said the tactical officer.
Suddenly they were being pulled in,"emergency power to shields and brace for impact. Were going in".
The ship entered the anomaly.They reappeared above higher orbit around the strange planet. "Where are we"?
"We appeared above a strange world that's apparently emitting high energy that is disturbing sensors" ,Commander Data said.
Plas sighed and said "I wish we were on Risa, that's better than being here."
"Land on that plane of grass and other plants and engage cloaking device".
The giant ship landed sending many plants flying to the wind."Sir there's ten creatures heading this way I suggest we drop cloak and try to communicate"?
"I agree". When they disengaged the device the shocked faces and the guards surrounding the tall pony suggested they were very scared.
"This must be a pre-warp civilization. Crap we broke the prime directive.
"Well, we'll have to advise starfleet command".
"First contact is unavoidable so why not do it here and now"?
"Sir just for the record and the log, I recommend not contaminating this culture any more than we already have" the sucurity chief said.
"Noted, but where going down there wether you like it or not"said Plas.
"Meet me in the transporter". Five officers including captain Plas went from there stations on the bridge to the transporter.On the way Captain Plas sent a sucurity team to the pad. They beamed Down to start first contact.
Once on the surface The guards surrounded them. The Vulcan stepped forward and stated "greetings my name is t'nol, commander and first officer of enterprise"
.The tall white and rainbow haired pony stepped forward."Hello welcome to Equis". "Why have you come"?
"We come in peace. We need to conduct repairs to our ship witch should take about two weeks then once finished well leave this planet.
We can conduct first contact inside my ship. So who are you"?
"My name is Princess Celestia". "But the real question is who are you and do you have any plans with equestria"?
"Im captain Plas of the federation starship Enterprise and no we don't have any plans except for geological surveys and scans but nothing harmful".Captain Plas tapped his combadge and stated, "sixteen to Beam up". The transporter beamed them to Enterprise.
Once they stepped off the transporter pad they exclaimed, "wow. That's amazing, look at the technology.How big is your ship"?
"My ship is two miles long and has a crew of forty thousand".
"What type of ship is it"?
"The ship is a dreadnought/Intel ship/carrier"."What does that mean"? Celetia asked.Plas responded saying that it fits certain requirements and matches these.
"The Dreadnoughts are very slow but have about thirty phaser banks and twenty torpedo banks.The Intel part is we can cloak or turn invisible and sensors can't detect us.Carriers are a little weaker than normal ships but have many fighter crafts to deal with evacuations of planets, enemies, or any other thing that usually requires more big ships can be done in a carrier".
They entered the turbolift which went to the bridge.
"This is deck 23 bridge level". They walked to the captains ready room. "So, is this your bedroom or something different"?
"This is the room that I'm in during work hours that involves not being needed on the bridge."
"What kind of culture do you have in this federation", Celestia asked?
"Well we don't have a certain culture because we are allied with thousands of species from different parts of our galaxy.But we do have something called a ptime directive which is a rule we use every day. We also can't interfere with other races internal and external affairs".
"What do you mean"?"
"Well if you were at war with another spiecise or race we would not do anything to help either side".
'And two more questions".
"Shoot".
"How long will it take to get back home"?
"Well that depends but without interruption about two years". Celestia was shocked. "I feel so sad for you". "Don't be, the federation has had worse. Plus we're not stranded like Voyager,it took them twenty three years to get back home".
T'nol left the room saying" live long and prosper" and raised his hand, split his fingers into the Vulcan greeting, and bowed his head.
Plas then began to hail fleet admiral Rob who is a human but is immortal."Rob here".
"Sir we just met a pre warp civilization".
"Okay we'll continue this talk later because I have better things to do he quickly mumbled like my bed".
The channel closed."So what now Plas asked"?
Earth Spacedock:2460
Vice admiral kalpo ordered the best captains to earth for a debriefing. "Okay I want you to go to the delta quadrant to rescue captain Plas and cunduct repairs." "Do whatever it takes to bring them back. "
"Yes sir". Said captains Jonathan, Ryan, Jemrew. Jonathan beamed to his ship, and said to the bridge officers "raise shields, arm phasers and photon torpedoes,take us to the delta sphere maximum warp".
"Captain why are you anxious to get there, The science officer said?
He's been a lifelong friend we served together and stuck together.Plus we were promoted to captain at the same time".
"I had someone like that. She unfortunately died fifty years ago when Vega colony was assimilated by the borg. She was only a ensign, one year out of training."
"Well then let's get going".
"Are you sure that it is wise"?
"No I don't know about you but I want to find my good friend". "Maximum warp".
"Captains log star date 5549.9 we're hoping that we can help captain Pala and his crew so that we can get underway and there was a Slight delay that costed two days helping some species with warp reactors. There were two days added to our trip , I just hope that they're still alive or we can find evidence of what happened to them ,end captains log".
Jonathan sighed, "I just Hope he's OK".
"Sir two kaison battle ships came out of warp"." Fire phasers and photonic torpedoes". "No effect Sir what should we do now"."Get us out of here". "Sir there's explosions on D deck". "Multiple hull breaches on deck 1,2,3,13,15,14,and10 sir. "
"Send a distress signal with what I'm About to say. Were under attack by kaison battle ships and weapons,sheilds, are down plus hull integrity is below 25% please send any ship for assistance."
"All crew get to shuttlepods and the escape pods, we're abandoning ship".
Everyone in the ship stoped, said a little prair and proceeded to do the captains orders. Before they could get to the pods, a torpedo hit and pierced the right nacelle interrupting the warp core containment.
"No no no no no nooooo"!The core exploded sending anything in a half of a light year into atomic residue.
"This is the Vulcan science ship soval please respond".
"Captain it's illogical to presume that any thing survived the explosion "
"Continue scanning two light years to find any vessels".
"If there's anything Maybe we will find it".
