When the song started playing I sang along with it immediately when I recognize it. Harry Chapins' 1974 'Cat's in the Cradle'. The main reason I know this is because I liked older songs and same goes for my wife Susun. Not many people like his songs, hack, this is the only song I knew form the guy before the chip was installed to my brain. Oh hey my wife just got of surgery, I'm gonna go talk to her now.

"Hey sweet tart, you ok?" I asked because it's weird at first, then depressing, but you go back to your old self in the end, just smarter. A lot smarter, and if she's to depressed then she'll make the project take longer, but we don't have the time cause the meteor is still isn't moving away from it's target. A nuclear power plant, but not just any small one it just had to be the bigest and if it breaks down the whole plant gets radiated and everyone and everything that's a compound will be destroyed and elements will be everywhere. That means that if a bacteria cell survived then we too. If not then the ship has what we need to survive.

"Yeah, and you were right about it being depressing and weird. *sigh* Well shoud we head to the launch pad?" Susun segested and the only thing I'm telling anyone is that she's super sexy but dosn't even try to, I mean she's been in the hospital for two weeks and still is sexy looking.

I look in her sky-blue eye's and say "Well you know the world is ending... so suger, let's go." As I go in for the kiss she follows suit and in seconds mouth to mouth contact was made but as soon as it started it ended because it was intended to be short... like everything... god fucking damn-it I got depressing again. Ok, calm myself, calm... ok well now were off to the spacecraft and Susun then sang something and realized I played that song on my phone three days ago so we sang at the same time...

Once we finshed singing and were reday to lanch we heard on the intercom '5...4...3 engine start 2...1... takeoff' a few seconds later I hear 'tower cleared' we wait for a few minites and push some buttons when finlly we reach space. So as we get out of the seats we were in and in the hypersleep tabs I say "Goodnight" close my eyes and into sleep for 5 million years. Asleep, alone, in tought, in pain... but not insane.
