//-------------------------------------------------------// Picnic -by Evictus- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Lunch //-------------------------------------------------------// Lunch    One day Twilight was sitting alone inside her tree house. She was trying to finish some last minute preparations to a book report that she was doing on her own. She sighed. She didn't know why but she was bored and had no meetings or appointments. She started to write a story or something. She tried her hardest to come up with ideas but none came to her. She groaned in annoyance as a headache from working started. Twilight tried to ignore it as she stared at the paper trying to write down ideas but that frustrated her so she flung it with a huff. There was a knock on her door.     Twilight got up and answered it. It was Pinkie. Twilight wondered what Pinkie wanted. Pinkie seemed to be excited for some reason but Twilight was to bored to find out. Twilight had no idea how to get rid of her boredom either but it might get worse with Pinkie. Twilight rubbed her eyes and spoke.     "Yes Pinkie? Twilight asked.     "How are you doing Twilight?" Pinkie asked. Twilight groaned as she wanted to sit down on a cushion her legs to feeling to powerless to walk as she was tired from being bored. Twilight yawned at Pinkies question wanting to go to sleep after this so she could forget being bored to death.     "I'm horribly bored." Twilight said sighing. Pinkie giggled and spoke.      "Go see your friends. Hang out with me! That might take away your boredom!" Pinkie suggested with a happy grin on her face. Twilight felt like she was going to fall down from being bored. She gripped the wall wanting to fix her problem.      "That won't do anything." Twilight responded.       "Read your books then you love your books." Pinkie suggested hoping this would change Twilights bored mood and get her into a more happy state then what is happening to her now.        "That's becoming repetitive." Twilight complained. Pinkie thought for a moment and then got an excellent idea.     "How about a picnic?! We can eat sandwiches and have desert while eating at a park. We can also have the blanket and the whole nine yards!" Pinkie suggested. Twilight groaned silently at the prospect.      "Eh. No thanks." Twilight said. Pinkie was confused at Twilights reaction thinking that this would have fixed Twilights boredom. Twilight loved to do anything with her friends. They even have had picnics.      "What do you mean? Are you not hungry?" Pinkie asked.      "Of coarse not. Why would I go on a picnic?" Twilight asked      "So you don't want to go?" Pinkie asked her as disappointment appeared on Pinkies face.     "No. What would a picnic do?" Twilight asked.      "It would cure your boredom." Pinkie said.      "It doesn't sound like a picnic would relieve me of being bored Pinkie. No thanks I'll stay home." Twilight said groaning.      "Well....okay suit yourself." Pinkie said as she was disappointed that Twilight refused her idea. They both said bye to each other and Twilight groaned her stomach growling but Twilight tried to ignore it. She didn't want to prepare anything so she could just go without food. She couldn't believe Pinkie would suggest something like a picnic.      "What would a dumb picnic do for me? Besides there are to many bugs out and it's more comfortable to be bored inside than outside." Twilight said sighing thinking how the picnic might be the most boring and mundane activity ever.     Even if she did go on the picnic it might worsen her boredom and she didn't want that to happen so she didn't want to risk going on a picnic with her friend just because Pinkie suggested it. Twilight groaned and sat down looking at a book and flipped he pages but the page turning was getting on her nerves. She thought about Pinkies offer.     She then decided to accept Pinkies offer hoping it would be good. She hopes that when she tells Pinkie Pinkie wouldn't have to change her mind. She raced off to Pinkies and knocked. Pinkie answered.     "Let's go on the picnic." Twilight said. Pinkie eyed her surprisingly as Twilight rejected Pinkies idea only a few moments ago. She stood there in in confusion and then spoke.    "But before you didn't want to do it." Pinkie said. Twilight nodded and chuckled.     "Well I'm so bored I'll do anything." Twilight said to her. Pinkie became extremely happy at this agreement.    "Yay!" Pinkie exclaimed. Pinkie ran right into her place while inviting Twilight in and took thirty minutes to prepare a meal. Twilight waited patiently. Twilight realized how happy Pinkie was to hear Twilight accept her idea as before she was sad when Twilight rejected her idea. Soon it was all set and they headed on out. It wasn't a long walk which Twilight was glad for.    Twilight and Pinkie refused to stop at anything wanting to do the picnic to see if Twilight will have fun. Soon they made it to the spot and Twilight set the blanket down with her magic. They took out the food and started eating while Twilight realized that she could have flown here before Pinkie so she could have gotten there quicker.      They ate their sandwiches in silence but after a few minutes Pinkie and Twilight both spoke up and they told stories and just joked around while eating. As Twilight ate she got full which was good since she didn't have lunch until now. Pinkie had a grand time just talking to Twilight and eating.      Soon they told each other stories. One more ridiculous than the next as they both kept laughing throughout all of the stories. They mostly told comedic ones and silly ghost stories that they probably would tell around a campfire but they didn't care.      Twilight was having so much fun and so was Pinkie. Before Twilight knew it she wasn't bored anymore. She realized that she wanted to keep doing this as well with her friend.     "Hey! I'm having a great time! I'm not bored!" Twilight exclaimed.      "See? Don't ever doubt an idea Twilight. The idea can seem silly but it turns out in the end that it's a great idea.     "Can we do this more often with both of us alone together and then with our friends individually and then our friends all together?" Twilight asked excited like.     "Sure!" Pinkie said giggling glad that she could help Twilight. Twilight was glad that Pinkie helped her. Soon after that they cloud watched coming up with silly interpretations of cloud shapes. Pinkie came up with a dozen while Twilight came up with a dozen of her own.      After their picnic and cloud interpretations they both packed up and walked back home.     "Thanks for helping me not be bored Pinkie." Twilight said. Pinkie smiled and hugged her.     "Your welcome. Feel free to come to me when you are bored and we can do other activities and more picnics." Pinkie said. Twilight smiled and Pinkie let go of the hug. Twilight realized how much she loved picnics.      "Thanks that sounds great! Picnics are actually pretty fun!"  Twilight said. Pinkie smiled warmly as they walked home as Twilight was great fun Pinkie helped her and Pinkie was happy that she helped Twilight. It was a relaxing day after all. Twilight finally felt that the picnic was enjoyable and the day wasn't boring at all.
