Dear Future Me

Dear Future Me,

So today I had gotten a new assistant named Owlicious. Not to replace Spike, but to help me at nighttime when he’s sleeping. He is a baby dragon after all. He needs his sleep.  Sadly, things didn’t go as I had hoped they would.  Spike thought I didn’t need him anymore, and left.  I could never replace him though. He’s too much of a hoot. He’s a loving and caring friend and assistant.  I hope he never feels that I don’t love him again.

The lesson I learned today is that I need to be clearer when I talk to him, to prevent any more misunderstandings.  And future me…

go make him some sapphire cookies.
