My name is Pinkie Pie! You'll never believe this, but just as me, my friends, and the others that went to, Camp Everfree get back, we hear a strange rumor that there was an abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town! All the rumors I've heard have said it was supposed to be haunted! Ooooo! What could this mean?! A new adventure?! Are we gonna fight some new baddies! Is it time to bust some ghost?! Oooo I can't wait to get there I'm so nevouscited! Oh, and if you're wondering, no. This story isn't a first person story. I just wanted to give the usual Ao Oni style opening! Ummm. Well after Pinkie just hijacked my story lets get back to it, shall we? Fluttershy, Sunset, Pinkie, and Rainbow Dash found themselves walking through the forest heading down a pathway towards an abandoned mansion. Pinkie Pie was just bouncing along in her happy go lucky attitude next to Fluttershy who was hiding behind her hair and walking right beside Sunset who was the most calm of the group while Rainbow Dash was just walking out of sync with the others. Eventually, they reached a four-story mansion and looked on in amazement. "Wee~~ It's really here!" Pinkie said in amazement. "I thought it was only a rumor. I never thought we would actually find it..." Sunset said. "It kind of has a desolate feel to it... Not bad," Rainbow said. "I-I don't think it's very interesting, though," Fluttershy added. "Me neither," Sunset said, "Can't we just look at it from the outside and go back?" "Aww~~ After all the trouble we had to find it?" Pinkie moaned, "C'mon, let's just go in for a little while!" Fluttershy only kept a look of fear in response as the four went in. "Wow! The interior's just like that of Ao Oni 3.0's!" Pinkie pie said, "And it's cleaner than I thought!" Sunset and Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie with a look of total confusion. "Ao Oni?" Sunset asked. "3.0?" Rainbow added. "Guys, um, it's Pinkie Pie don't question it," Fluttershy said. "Oh. Right." Rainbow and Sunset groaned. "H-hey. C-can we just go now?" Fluttershy said sounding a little terrified, "This place is kind of spooky." "Heh! What's the matter, Flutters? Ya scared?" Rainbow teased. "N-no," Fluttershy said hiding behind her hair. Suddenly there was a very loud crash coming from the right hallway. "EEP!" yelled Fluttershy as she jumped into Rainbow's arms Scooby-Doo style, "L-l-l-like, what was that?! L-look we should really go now!" "Oh, don't be silly." Sunset said, "It's not like there is any ghost or anything. Where's your common sense?" "Common sense was thrown out the window when you turned into that she-demon," Rainbow said. "Oh." Sunset groaned, "Right." Sunset then began to walk towards the right hallway. "Hey! Be careful Sunset!" Rainbow said. "I know. I'll just go see what happened. I'll be right back," Sunset said. As Sunset walked down the hallway she entered the door at the end and looked around what looked to be a kitchen area. "Huh. A kitchen," Sunset said. She then looked near the sink and saw a broken plate on the ground. She walked over to it and looked at it more carefully. "The plate's... broken." Sunset said picking up a piece, "I have to be careful not to hurt myself." Placing the shard into a pocket on her jacket and left the room. As she came back to the foyer she found Pinkie, Rainbow, and Fluttershy missing. "Huh?!" Sunset said coming into the middle of the foyer, "Did they leave after all without me? How regrettable..." Sunset then went to open the front door... click. "Wh-what the?!" Sunset said in shock, "I-it's locked?!" She then banged on the door hard. "Come on you guys this isn't funny!" Sunset shouted, "Open up the god damned door right now!" But it was no use. She then looked out a nearby window and saw no one was holding the door, so the door must've been locked itself. "Oh no. This can't be good." Sunset said sounding like she was about to panic, "Okay calm down Sunset, maybe they've gotta be around here somewhere." She then looked at the left hallway from the entrance and walked down it. She passed by a door that when she tried to open it was locked, from there she went up and saw some kind creature. It looked like the combination of a white colored titan and alicorn.... Option-A "What the hell?!" Option-B Stay calm... Just like in HetaOni you'll be given a choice like this at times. Some lead to death, another continues the story. These are unnecessary to do as you can just skip ahead past these if you want, but if you do you might miss some important story stuff, so think carefully before continuing on. Option-A "What the hell?!" The creature turned around making Sunset jump. It charged towards her giving her no time to react. "WRoNG CHoiCe..." it said as Sunset screamed in terror. Sunset's body was limp. Blood was all over her upper body as she floated in front of the beast, her upper body itself... you don't even wanna know. There were only two words that accompanied the wall, and they were written in Sunset's own blood. GAME OVER. Option-B Stay calm... The creature entered through the door and closed it behind it. Sunset didn't know what to say as she was in total shock. "Wha... What the hell was that just now?" Sunset said with fear in her voice, "I... Maybe I'm just getting tired..." Sunset then left the hallway and went upstairs to the 2nd floor. She looked around at the top and decided to go left and entered through the door on her right. The room looked to be an ordinary bedroom with a T.V with two chairs in front of it, three large drawers, a bed near the entrance, and three bookshelves piled with books. But then Sunset noticed something on the bed and picked it up. To her shock it was... "Th... This is Fluttershy's element pendant!" Sunset said in shock, "What the hell is it doing here?! Didn't she leave it at home because we figured we wouldn't need them?! Well. I guess I'm one to talk." She pulled out her pendant in question around her neck. "Oh god, I've gotta warn the others what's going on!" Sunset said pulling out her phone, "Wh-WHAT THE?! NO SIGNAL?! Oh god, oh god, oh god, what are we gonna do?! How are we supposed to get help now?! Looks like we'll have to make our own exit now. At any rate, I should find Fluttershy and give this back to her." She then left the room and went down towards the right hallway and entered through the door .  The room, again, looked to be a bedroom  with a bed near the door, three medium sized drawers, a computer desk with a four-legged chair, and a two door closet. "Hmm. Nothing out of the ordinary here," Sunset said looking around the room. Suddenly there was a bump noise coming from the closet spooking Sunset. Slowly she walked towards the closet and knocked on it. "Hello? Anyone in there?" Sunset asked. There was no reply. With a scared gulp, she opened the closet doors and found Fluttershy nearly as white as Celestia and looking scared out of her mind. "F... Fluttershy!" Sunset said with glee. "CLACLACLACLACLACLACLACLACLACLACLAC," Fluttershy went while shaking. "... Fluttershy, where are the others?" Sunset asked "CLACLACLACLACLACLACLACLACLACLACLAC," Fluttershy went while shaking. "That... doesn't answer my question." Sunset said, "... You look... shaken. I'll go get you something to drink." Sunset then left the room and headed downstairs towards the kitchen. Inside she managed to find a clean glass, but the faucet didn't work. Then, scared as hell, she went down the hallway where she saw the monster. She found another door that lead her to another bathroom. She then looked at the toilet. "Well... It IS water too. Let's just not be so hasty." Sunset said to herself. She then saw another sink and turned on the faucet. "Maybe I can get water here?" Sunset said to herself. To her surprise water came out of the faucet. But... something didn't look right about it. "Ah, thank Celestia. It doesn't seem to be broken," Sunset said as she put the cup over the running water. The cup filled up quickly and Sunset turned the faucet off. But taking another look at it Sunset wasn't quite sure if she should give it to Fluttershy. "Well. It's either this or toilet water," Sunset said to herself. Going back upstairs she found Fluttershy still the same as she was when she left her. "Fluttershy, I brought you some water." Sunset said handing the cup to Fluttershy, "Drink it and try to calm down a little. Here. It's not filtered water, though." Fluttershy took a look at the liquid in the cup before taking a few sips. "Is that... really water?" Fluttershy asked, "It taste like salt." "Judging by its color... probably..." Sunset said. "Um... I see..." Fluttershy said before calming down and getting out of the closet, "S-sorry for falling apart like that. I feel a bit better now thanks to you." "That's good to hear Fluttershy." Sunset said, "So, where are the others?" "I'm... not sure. At any rate, we ran for our lives... And Rainbow and Pinkie went in different directions... I think," Fluttershy said, "Sorry, just... give me a moment to pull myself together." "All right. I'll go look for Pinkie and Rainbow Dash. Try to get some rest. If I know those two they might be making out in a corner somewhere." Sunset said. "Oh, by the way, I found this when I was running. Maybe it can be of some use to you?" Fluttershy said giving Sunset a key. Sunset looked at it and it said first-floor library key. Fluttershy then hid back into the closet and Sunset left with the key. "What the?" Fluttershy said looking at the door inside the closet, "A door? When did this get in here?" Meanwhile, Sunset had gone downstairs back down the hallway to the kitchen and opened a door on her left with the key Fluttershy gave her. Just like the key said, inside was a library, a huge one too. Sunset wandered through the bookshelf mazes to come to a table where she saw what looked to be a taco. "T... This is...! An ordinary taco!" Sunset said picking it up, "Is... is this all that's in here?" Suddenly there was a horrifying scream that sounded like it came from hell itself. "?! What the hell was that?!" Sunset shouted. This time, she got a look at its face. Its eyes were completely pitch black and its head was like that of Celestia's. In fact it had the body of a tall alicorn, but anthro. And its mouth took up most of its face as there were no lips on it so you could see the two rows a sharp long teeth. There was only one word that screamed through Sunset's mind while she looked at it. RUN. "I'VE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE!" Sunset shouted running for the door. She ran through the bookshlef rows as quickly as she could towards the door only to find it was locked. "NO! NO, NO, NO, NO! THIS IS BULLSHIT!" Sunset shouted banging on the door, "That's key's gotta be around here somewhere." There was the scream again. She looked behind her and saw the thing charging straight for her . Sunset screamed and ran away only to find herself back at the table and cornered. Panicing Sunset picked up a chair and threw it at the creature which destroied it with it horn and teeth. Sunset quickly ducked under the table and found not only the key, but a katana as well. Sunset didn't have time to question why a katana of all things was in a library as the creature had pulled her out from under the table and tossed her into the wall sending her falling to the floor. Sunset quickly backed away from the creature as it looked ready to attack. Getting back onto her feet Sunset, with shaky hands, readied herslef for a fight. "I have not... come this far in my life... to die now!" Sunset shouted, "I'm gonna lay you out!" The monster only roared in response and Sunset gulped. It bled a little and roared as it slashed at Sunset with its horn connecting with the katana. Sunset managed to push it back and stabed it in the stomach twisting it and pulling out to make the creature bleed profusely. Once again it roared and looked to be trying to do a spell. "You... WoN'T... eSC... aPe..." It shouted in a demonic voice. Sunset then felt herself get pushed backwards into a bookcase making books fall onto and the ones on the higher shelves hurt the most. Getting up, but holding her sides for a second, she readied herself again but this time closed her eyes and focused really hard. Her element pendant had started glowing as did her eyes. "SOLAR FLARE!" Sunset shouted in a echoy like voice. The katana began immiting a light and in two slashes out came a firy V towards the creature. The V hit it an burned into it and exploaded sending the creature flying backwards into a wall before it slowly faded away. Sunset panted and ran for the door unlocking it and closing the door behind her quickly. Sunset had never been so scared in her life. "Wha... What the hell was was THAT thing?!" Sunset shouted, "Now I've gotta find the others as soon as possible!" //-------------------------------------------------------// CHaPTeR II: FiNDiNG FRieNDS //-------------------------------------------------------// CHaPTeR II: FiNDiNG FRieNDS Sunset had been looking all over the mansion for a clue as to where the others were, but all she found was locked doors. Then, she found herself back at the library. She was reluctant to enter the room again remembering what she had found in the room before, but she didn't have a clue where else to go, so with a heavy sigh and her new katana in her hands, she opened the door and headed into the library. It was just like she left it. The wreckage from the battle was all over the place. Sunset then went over to a bookshelf and looked at a row of books. "There's so many books here." Sunset said, "If I wasn't in such a hurry, I would definitively leaf through them... ... Well... Just one won't do any harm, right?" While looking through a random book she took from the shelf Sunset learned a new skill called Shooting Star Slash, or S.S.S for short, before placing it back onto the shelf. Going back to where the creature vanished she found a key where the monster was. "A key? I hadn't noticed it before." Sunset said picking it up, "Maybe that thing dropped it during our fight." Taking a look at it, the key's engraving said Fourth Floor key. Leaving the library Sunset headed to the fourth floor and tried it on the two doors on the floor. It only seemed to work for the door at the other side of the room so Sunset entered and saw what looked to be an attic of some kind. Looking around she noticed something odd about the bookshelf and moved it out of the way to reveal a bunny stuck in a crack. "Oh, a bunny." Sunset said, "Are you stuck?" The bunny nodded. "Ah, I can't get you out. Not like this." Sunset said, "Poor thing... I think Fluttershy might be able to get you out, though. I wonder if she would come here for that? Then again, maybe I will have to get HER out. ... No. Anyway, I'll ask her." Sunset left the attic and headed back down to the second floor and to Fluttershy's room where she saw an iron door in the area where the closet used to be. Going over to it Sunset was confused as hell. "Wha... ? Was that door here before? Or is it just my imagination? I'm sure it wasn't an iron door, though..." Sunset said before knocking on it, "Hum... Fluttershy, do you have a minute?" "Is that you Sunset?" Fluttershy's voice came through the iron door, "What's the matter?" "You see, there's a bunny stuck in the wall in a room on the fourth floor." Sunset said, "I feel sorry for it, so I was wondering if you could get it out..." "I see." Fluttershy said, "Okay, I'll go and get it out. I just have one favor to ask you, though." "Sure, if it's something I can do," Sunset said. "You see, when I was running, I dropped my element pendant. I was thinking we should have them and a weapon just in case that THING shows up again. If it's not too much trouble, could you please look for it?" "What a coincidence!" Sunset said, "Actually, I found your pendant a while ago!" "... Oh," Fluttershy said. "Wait, I'll pass it to you." Sunset said sliding the pendant under the door, "It was lying on the bed next door." "Oh, I... see... Hem... T-thank you." Fluttershy said. "Not at all. I only found it by chance, after all. Now let's go to the fourth f..." "Ah! Sunset!! I'm so sorry, but..." Fluttershy said. "Yes? What is it?" Sunset asked. "Ah... I'm really, really sorry, but... Actually, I'm hungry too." Fluttershy said, "Don't you have anything for me to eat?" "To eat... I'm sorry, but I didn't bring any food with me." Sunset said, "I don't have anything that could be used as an ingredient either..." "I see... So, um, if it's not too much trouble, could you please go look for something to eat?" Fluttershy asked. "Wh... Whaaaaaaat?!" Sunset said in disbelief, "Th... That's impossible! How could I possibly find any food in this place?!" "Please! I have no strength right now! Anything is fine; just find me something. Please?" Fluttershy asked. "Haa... All right. I'll take another look around. I also have to look for Pinkie anyways," Sunset said. "I see... Thank you... By the way, did you find Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy asked. "No... But she should be fine. Somehow," Sunset said. "Sorry for all the trouble... Oh! By the way, take this with you." Fluttershy said opening the door slightly. Fluttershy handed Sunset what looked to be a Pepsi. Sunset only stared as Fluttershy closed the door again. A drink?! And Pepsi, at that?! Sunset thought. "Ah, thanks. I'll be going now then." Sunset said. "Okay, thanks," Fluttershy said. Sunset then left the room and sighed. "Well. I know for certain the kitchen's not gonna have any food." Sunset said to herself, "Well it is, but do I really wanna take a chance with the stuff it has? Celestia knows how long this mansion's been here, any food it has is probably bad as all hell. Well no use beating around the bush, I might as well use what time I have to explore some. I mean it's not like a key's just gonna fall from the ceiling by the pull of a lever." Going back downstairs she went down the hallway where she first saw the creature. And to her surprise the door, the creature went through was open. Sunset was spooked. "I don't like the fact that door's open!" Sunset shouted, "Ohhhh! I know it's a trap I really do! But what else am I supposed to do right now?! I've got no leads to go off of! .... Fuck it. I'm going in." Walking down the hallway she entered the room to find it completely pitch black... "Wow, it's pitch black in here." Sunset said, "Where's the light switch?" She luckily managed to find it... Option-A Flick the switch Option-B Don't flick the switch Option-A Flick the switch Sunset flicked it quickly and found herself face to face with the creature. "I KNEW IT WAS A TRAP!" Sunset shouted. Continue to Section A-B Option-B Don't flick the switch Sunset then heard a noise that spooked her to no end. "What... What!! Who's there?!" Sunset shouted in fear as she felt herself get picked up, "D... Don't! Get away!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Sunset's terrified scream could be heard throughout the mansion. If you were to find her body now you'd find it in the bathroom straight down the left hallway in a puddle of her own blood. Her upper half? It's not a pretty sight... GAME OVER Section A-B Sunset readied her katana and prepared for another battle. The beast looked to be so as well. The creature tried to attack by slashing at her with its horn but Sunset was smart enough to dodge and see it impale its horn into the ground getting stuck. Sunset took this opportunity to lay down another slash followed by a Solar Flare. However, the solar flare made the monster get unstuck and was ready to attack. It made a punch for Sunset which sent her flying into the wall where the bathtub was. Getting up she repeated what she did earlier and waited for the creatures next attack. "You... WoN'T... eSC... aPe..." It shouted in a demonic voice. Sunset knew what it was about to do and rolled away quickly back to where she was laying down another slash before quickly getting into her position for the Solar Flare. However, she got an idea. As her, pendant glowed she switched the grip of her katana from forwards to backward and getting ready to do a slash. "SHOOTING STAR SLASH!" Sunset shouted. With one single slash into the air, the slash erupted a yellow light beam from it heading for the creature that made a huge slash mark across its body that bled profusely. Suddenly thought the lights went out. It turned the lights off!? Sunset thought, Is it going to... But as if by magic the lights came back on and the monster was gone. "Eh?!" Sunset went, "It's gone..." I'm worried about Pinkie. I'd better hurry, Sunset thought. Going over to the tub in question she saw the water that splashed out when she was punched into the wall. Draining the tub she pulled out a key. "I found the item Second Floor Bedroom key," Sunset said out loud just in case Pinkie was nearby, "But my only question is, WHICH DOOR?!" As Sunset came up to the second floor she tried every door that was locked and found the right door on the down left hallway. Sunset proceeded to go inside and saw Rainbow looking at a wall. She felt compelled to go to her, but something just didn't feel right to her... Option-A Lock the door Option-B Don't lock the door Since both options for this one have somewhat of the same dialogue Option B is what you'll see first this time. Option-B Don't lock the door Sunset just shrugged the feeling off and headed towards Rainbow Dash who was immediately alerted to Sunset's presence. "Hh! Who's there?!" Rainbow shouted pulling out a sword on Sunset. "WHOA! CALM DOWN RAINBOW DASH! IT'S ME!" Sunset shouted in fear, "Wait, where the hell did you get that sword?!" "Oh, it's you Sunset? Ah... Sorry." Rainbow said lowering her guard, "Also I found it when rummaging through this room. Where did you get the katana?" "I found it in the library," Sunset said. "Figures," Rainbow groaned. "Are you alright?" Sunset asked. "Th-There was a monster! I saw it!!" Rainbow shouted, "A, a stark naked giant with the color of an albino horse!!" "What?" Sunset went. "It's true! We all saw it!" Rainbow said, "Me, and Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie too!" "Yes, I know," Sunset said. "Before I knew it, I'd wound up here. Those two... I don't know where they went. Am I making any sense?" Rainbow asked. "Yes, quite. That does make sense." Sunset said, "I saw it too." "What the heck is that THING?!" Rainbow said, "O... Oh!! And what happened to the others?!" "Please calm down. Would you like me to bring you something to drink?" Sunset asked. "Eh? Well... Now that ya mention it, I am a little thirsty." Rainbow said, "Do you have some water or Pepsi or something?" "No, but I can go get you some." Sunset said, "Would you like me to?" "Yeah... No, wait. Never mind, I don't really need it. What happened to the other two?" Rainbow asked. "Fluttershy is on the same floor. She claimed she was hungry." Sunset said, "But... I haven't found Pinkie. Do you have any idea where she might be?" "What?! Pinkie's missing?!" Rainbow said in shock, "Do you think she was attacked by that creature?" "We can't be 100% sure... But she does have that Gambit like power. I do believe she managed to escape somehow," Sunset said. "All right!! Then I'll look for her too!" Rainbow said, "But first, let's go to where Fluttershy is. What's she doing anyway?" "She said she was too hungry to move." Sunset said, "Rainbow, don't you have anything for her to eat?" "Something to eat... Now that you mention it, I did find some mushrooms while I was searching through the room." Rainbow said, "Will that do?" "That should do," Sunset said. "All right. Then lets..." Rainbow's face went pale. "What's the matter?" Sunset asked. "Don't you hear the sound of something... getting... closer?" Rainbow asked starting to sweat. Sunset could only sweat as her face grew pale. "Hey, say..." Rainbow said. "What is it?" Sunset asked. "Did you lock the door? When you entered the room?" Rainbow asked. Sunset's face was then filled with surprise. "I... The door..." Sunset muttered. Suddenly the creature barged right into the room from the door giving the two a fright. ""HOLY... !!" Rainbow shouted in horror. The creature came towards the two fast. "SUNSET! RUN! RUN FOR YOUR L..." Rainbow was cut off as the sound of their screams was all that could be heard. After the monster did its deed and left, Sunset and Rainbow Dash were now laying back first on the floor in pools of their own blood. Their consciousness had left their body a long while ago. GAME OVER Option-A Lock the door Sunset suddenly got a feeling of deja-vu and suddenly realized what she had to do. Turned she quickly locked the door and placed the key into her pocket. She then turned around and headed towards Rainbow Dash who was immediately alerted to Sunset's presence. "Hh! Who's there?!" Rainbow shouted pulling out a sword on Sunset. "WHOA! CALM DOWN RAINBOW DASH! IT'S ME!" Sunset shouted in fear, "Wait, where the hell did you get that sword?!" "Oh, it's you Sunset? Ah... Sorry." Suddenly the two heard the sound of the door clicking and were spooked. The creature was trying to get in. Suddenly, though, it stopped. "Is it gone?" Rainbow asked. "Yes, probably," Sunset said. "All right. That was a little scary, but now we should join Fluttershy." Rainbow said, "Let's find Pinkie Pie and get out of here as soon as possible!" "Indeed," Sunset agreed. Rainbow followed behind Sunset as she went to the door, unlocked it, and opened it. When the two got outside they found themselves face to face with the creature. "IT WAITED FOR US!?" Rainbow shouted, "HOW DID IT KNOW TO WAIT FOR US?!" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcjdcALuJ1s) "No time for talk now Rainbow!" Sunset said readying herself, "It's either fight or die right now!" Sunset quickly did an S.S.S on the creature while Rainbow was still horrified. "The more I look at it, the scarier it looks!" Rainbow said, "I can't use my awesome techniques like this! Do something!" Good grief... Sunset thought. Rainbow then went for a slash only to miss as it dodged. The creature then lit up its horn and did a lighting attack at Sunset that sent her flying back into the room. "SUNSET!" Rainbow shouted in surprise. Rainbow in anger did a powerful attack onto the creature making a gash on its chest. Sunset then ran out of the room making a strike of her own deepening the wound on the chest of the creature. Rainbow then went for another slash but missed as did Sunset. However, Rainbow's pendant lit up and running towards the creature she prepared to do an attack. "BEAR THE CROSS!" Rainbow shouted. "Wow, I didn't know Rainbow was religious," Sunset said in surprise. As Rainbow's sword glowed she made two slashes into the shape of a cross onto the creature causing a flame to erupt from the cross-wound that spread over the creature. The monster in rage punched Rainbow hard across the hallway, Sunset then went for a strike but missed. Rainbow, getting up, ran for the creature and hit a critical hit onto it as it bled from its stomach. In the confusion, Sunset and Rainbow did a slash barrage to the creature. But then IT landed a hard punch onto Sunset which made her fall to her knees and cough up blood as Rainbow continued to slash away at the monster. Suddenly, Sunset got the idea to pull out the Taco and eat it. She did so and suddenly felt a whole lot better. Getting back up Sunset did a Solar Flare that the creature dodged. "You... WoN'T... eSC... aPe..." It shouted in a demonic voice. Sunset soon found herself blown back to the other end of the hall hard and on the ground with a backache. Rainbow went for a Bear The Cross, but the creature dodged it. Rainbow suddenly felt wore out, but as Sunset came to her aide she handed her a Pepsi which Rainbow took a few sips of and felt better. Sunset then did another Solar Flare and this time it hit. Rainbow then landed the finishing blow onto the creature and it started to fade away but looked to be fighting it. "Sunset! Run!! QUICKLY!" Rainbow shouted. The two then ran for their lives heading to Fluttershy's location and quickly closed the door behind themselves panting like no tomorrow. "Holy hell that thing's tuff!" Rainbow said. "It wasn't this tough when I fought it!" Sunset said, "It must be getting stronger somehow!" "I'd like you to NOT put that image in my head thank you!" Rainbow said. "Well exuuuuse me, princess! We don't exactly know what the hell that thing is so we?!" Sunset said in anger. "Good point," Rainbow groaned. The two then went over to the iron door. "This is the fortress where Fluttershy is," Sunset said. "It's pretty solid." Rainbow said, "Hey, Fluttershy! Sunset told me you were hungry. D'you want some mushrooms?" "Is that you Rainbow?!" came Fluttershy's voice, "Are you alright?!" "Yah, I'm fine!" Rainbow said, "But I have some bad news! Pinkie is missing! And we have to help a bunny." "Well... All right... I-I'm done here, so we can go now," Fluttershy said as she came out of the iron door and closed it behind her. "I don't really get what we're supposed to do, but let's go to the fourth floor!" Rainbow said. "Um, can we come back here once and a while?" Fluttershy asked. "I don't mind, but... Do you actually like those narrow spaces?" Sunset asked. "Well, I guess you could say that I'm... used to them." Fluttershy said, "There's a lot of room, though." "Oh..." Sunset said. "I... I really hope Pinkie's fine." Fluttershy said. "Uh, do you wanna leave now?" Rainbow asked. "R... Right," Sunset said. The three then left the room and headed up to the fourth floor where Fluttershy was unsuccessful with getting the bunny out of the wall. "Well?" Sunset asked. "It's stuck pretty deep." Rainbow said, "Can ya do it Flutters?" "Huggggnn!!" Fluttershy groaned as she tried to get the bunny out, "Sorry girls, I can't do it with my bare hands or voice. Maybe if I had some kind of tool or carrot." "A tool... Well, it's a big house. I'll take a look around," Sunset said. "I would be really thankful if you could find something useful," Fluttershy said. "Aw well, I guess we'll have to split up again to look for it," Rainbow said. "Ngggh... Wooaaaaargh!!" Fluttershy went. "Awesome face. You sound like as if you're giving birth," Rainbow teased. "Well, then I'll be going ahead." Sunset said, "I'll come back as soon as I find anything good." "I think I'll go, too. Actually, I haven't looked around very much. Might as well do some exploration!" Rainbow said. "Thanks..." Fluttershy said And with that Sunset left. //-------------------------------------------------------// CHaPTeR III: aLLieS //-------------------------------------------------------// CHaPTeR III: aLLieS When Sunset left the room she noticed that a door was open and went in. Inside was what looked to be another bedroom. But something caught Sunset's eye. It was a lever at the end of the room. Going over to it she looked at the paper next to it and read it out loud. "Up is heaven, the middle is earth, and down is hell," Sunset said. Going to the lever, Sunset quickly got the impression that heaven wasn't such a good idea to pull it. So she pulled it all the way down. "Ah, it broke," Sunset said. Then she heard what sounded like a scraping noise. She looked and saw w wooden piece move to uncover a hole in the ground. Going over to it, Sunset stomped on it a bit. "Well, that was pointless." Sunset said, "Why did that block move only to reveal a useless hole?" Suddenly, she heard a cracking noise. Sunset was confused at first but then realized where the sound was coming from. Sunset didn't have any time to react as she found herself falling through the floor and onto her aching back. "AAAAUGH! OWWWW!" Sunset yelled in pain sitting up to feel her back for a bit, "GOD DAMN IT! RRGH! MOTHER FUCKER! NGHH! At this rate, I'm gonna need a fucking wheelchair by the time I'm twenty-nine!" Getting back up to her feet and cracking her back, back into place she noticed she was in what looked to be a piano room.  Going over to it, Sunset didn't notice anything wrong with it. It was an ordinary black piano. "It's an ordinary piano." Sunset said, "..... Maybe I can play something?" Getting her fingers ready she played the piano. Sunset groaned, "You'd think with all these libraries and bookshelves all over the damn place the original owner was a bigger bookworm than Twilight!" But as she went in she saw someone who noticed her as well. "Pinkie!!" Sunset shouted in glee. "Sunset! You're okay!!" Pinkie said. "Yes, thank Celestia." Sunset said, "Somehow." "Right: after you left, a horrifying monster suddenly appeared from the hallway and came after us!" Pinkie said, "Rainbow Dash was the first to scream instead of Fluttershy this time! You... heard her, didn't you?" "No, not at all..." Sunset said. "I see. Rainbow's scream surprised me, too, and I was too confused at the time and tried to run away and leave you behind." Pinkie said sadly, "I'm sorry, Sunset... But the front door wouldn't open no matter what and we split up while running away." "No need to apologize." Sunset said, "Anyone would have done the same in a situation like that. Even me. Still... what on earth is going on in this house? The exit door and the windows can't be opened. Our cell phones don't work either." "Yep. Looks like we're locked up." Pinkie said, "But! I'm so glad I found you, Sunset!! Aren't you hurt or anything? Aren't you hungry?" "I'm fine." Sunset said, "But... you're surprisingly calm about this, Pinkie. You were even wandering the house..." "Well... When that monster appeared, I wanted to cry and cling to Rainbow, but... Well, both Rainbow and Fluttershy were acting like Scooby-Doo and Shaggy." Pinkie said, "So I figured someone needed to keep a level head, and even I was amazed by how calm I felt! And then I began to look around for everyone so we could get out of here as soon as possible!" "That makes sense..." Sunset said, "I was startled at first, too, but after seeing everyone else so flustered, I felt oddly calm," Sunset said. "So, what about Rainbow and Fluttershy?" Pinkie asked, "Haven't you found them yet?" "No, I've found them." Sunset said, "They're on the fourth floor, but I'll explain the details on the way. They were both very worried about you. You'd better go and let them see you as soon as possible." "Ah, okay!" Pinkie said, "Let's go together, then! I found some stuff when I was exploring, so I'll leave them with you. I also made some cake~ You can have that, too." After eating some of the cake Sunset felt better and left the room with Pinkie Pie telling her all about what happened up until that point. As they went up to the fourth floor they entered the room where Fluttershy and Rainbow was and found Fluttershy cowering behind Rainbow Dash as she was looking ready to attack... "AAAACK! Sunset! Rainbow shouted. Sunset didn't move. "Sunset!!!" Rainbow shouted in rage. "My, my... I must be losing my hearing by listening to loud music a lot. I can't hear you at all," Sunset said with a smirk. "Wha...?! Huh?! Hey, Pinkie!!" Rainbow shouted. "Oh, um... I've suddenly gone deaf, too!" Pinkie said. "Pinkie!! You-" "Now that you mention it~ We've been in peace for a while now, so I have completely forgotten about it~," Pinkie said. "Pinkie... Sunset..." Fluttershy moped. "It is my duty as a friend to fight along with you." Sunset said, "Let's go, Pinkie." "Y-yeah!!!" Pinkie went Sunset and Pinkie join Rainbow side and was prepared to battle. Fluttershy then mustered up all her courage, if she even has any, to swing her whip at the monster hitting it square in the left eye. Sunset and Rainbow just continued their nonstop barrage of slashes until the monster dodged a slash by Sunset did a lighting attack on her sending her down onto one knee for a bit. The creature dodged all the other attacks until Sunset did a solar flare hitting it and Rainbow did a Bear The Cross also hitting it. It was then followed by Fluttershy using her whip and Sunset going for another slash that missed, but Rainbow landed a critical blow across its face cutting into its right eye while Fluttershy went for another whip swing to the right eye gouging it out. Sunset then followed it up was a cut to the creature's left eye and finally Pinkie's pendant started glowing and a book came from her hair and into her hands. "PEPERONCINO!" Pinkie shouted straightening her arm and opening her hand out towards the creature. Suddenly it looked to have grown slower and did a bit of damage, but it only made it angrier. "dIE!" It shouted. Its horn lit up and knocked everyone back some, but Pinkie was sent flying back into the wall knocking her out cold. "PINKIE!" The other shouted in horror. In furry the trio layed down a barrage of attacks uppon the creature. The creature dodged some of Sunset and Rainbow's slashes, but couldn't dodge Fluttershy's whip. Sunset was then the one to lay down the finishing blow. And just like that it vansihed and Pinkie got up. "It's gone..." Sunset said. "Ve~ It really IS a ghost..." Pinkie said. "Pinkie!!" Fluttershy yelled in fear as she and Rainbow Dash ran over to Pinkie. "Are you hurt?" Sunset asked. "The hell?! You totally ignored what I said!" Rainbow shouted. "Rainbow, thought the two fo us alone could do something about it..." Fluttershy said. "Sorry. You really helped. Are you okay, too?" Rainbow asked. "Yep. But I'm so relieved now!" Pinkie said, "You two ran away really fast, so I'd been wondeting what happened to you." "I am really glad that everyone is alright." Sunset said, "Now, what are we going to do from here?" "Yeah. That Thing could show up here again, so we should move to a room that is safe as possible." Rainbow said, "Besides, if the four of us stick together, it won't be so scary." "Good idea, Rainbow!!" Pinkie said. "Now, let's serch for a room that looks as safe as possible. And let's not split up, of course," Sunset said. "Roger, captain!!" Pinkie said. The four just laughed. Sunset then went over to the closet and pulled out a wooden box and decided to take it with them. Heading out the room the four then went to the room where Sunset found the lever. Sunset went over to it and pulled the lever straight to the middle. The lever broke, but a key fell from the ceiling surprising thr group. "Umm..." Sunset said in total confusion. "How in the hell did that make any sense?" Rainbow asked. "Beats me." Pinkie said, "And I usually don't make sense. That was just more random than me." Picking up the key Sunset took a better look at it. "Second floor living rooms." Sunset said, "Let's try there." The group then went down to the second floor and tried it on the room across from where Sunset found Fluttershy's pendant. Inside the bedroom looked like nothing out of the ordinary, but then Sunset found a matchbox underneath the table and the group left and tried using the key on the room next to the third floor staircase. Going inside, after everyone was in, Sunset locked the door firmly. "We can't get too careless, but I think we're safe here, for now." Rainbow said as she sat at the table, "We have the key, and the door is firmly locked from inside." "It is only temporary, but it should do for one night, I suppose..." Sunset said. "One night is good enough for me. I'm really tired from running around~," Pinkie said. "You're right. We ran a lot for one day. It makes me feel like having some Pepsi or Mountain Dew..." Rainbow said. "I'm a little cold, too..." Fluttershy said, "I wonder if it's because of this house?" "If I'm not mistaken, we found some matches. There's also enough firewood for one night, so we can warm up," Sunset said. "Hm. I'll do it, then," Rainbow said taking the matches and lighting a match then throwing it into the fireplace lighting up a fire on the fire wood. "Ooh! That's nice, huh?" Pinkie said. "Yes. I feel much better now that we have some light. And now I'm not alone, either," Sunet said. "Yeah~ But it was really scary at first!" Pinkie said, "Even though Rainbow was the first to run away, it was me the monster chased after!" Rainbow felt a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, you're right." "Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" all four went Later that night, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow was asleep and Rainbow was keeping watch. "Aah... Seriously, it's so fun being alone..." Rainbow groaned, "But those three are really sound asleep... Haa... If only I had my computer, I could update my blog. Now all I can do is take pictures of their sleeping faces. It's just... their serious faces when they were playing rock, paper, scissors... They looked awesome. I couldn't resist them." Then everything went silent and Rainbow let out two sniffs. "I'm kinda... cold." Rainbow said, "The fire is... strong enough. What the fuck?! I just felt a chill running down my spine..." Suddenly, the door started clicking. "Th-!! L-Look, this isn't funny. I'm just... hearing things, right?" Rainbow said to herself. The door was still clicking. "There's no one here! No one!!" Rainbow yelled a bit, "Why aren't those three waking up?! Can't they hear anything?! Hah! That's it! I'll use Fluttershy's strategy and pretend I'm not here! If I turn off my aura I won't be found!" But the clicking still continued. Rainbow's face grew pale. "... I guess I can't do it." Rainbow said, "Right, I have no choice then..." Rainbow then got up from her spot and walked over to the door. "Forgive me. It's tough being alone," Rainbow said, "... SHIT! No! I won't die yet!!" Rainbow went outside and closed the door behind her. The only thing that could be heard was the sound of slashes, water dripping, and then a thud. You can not easily set foor into that "mysterious mansion" in your town. Because if you anger it's former occupant, you will not get away lightly... Especially when there are no people there... Later on the next morning, Applejack, Rarity, Sci-Twi, Flash Sentry, Timber Spruce, Gloriosa Daisy, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo found themselves in front of the mansion Rainbow, Sunset, Pinkie, and Fluttershy went into. "It's really here!!" Sweetie Belle said. "I thought it was just a rumor. But it's actually here..." Timber said. "The desolate feel gives it a rather nice touch." Rarity said. "I don't think it's very interesting though." Flash said. "Did anyone jsut hear a voice just now?" Scootaloo asked. "Oh Scootaloon you tease~!" Gloriosa said, "We didn't hear anything, did we?" Flash only groaned in sadness before Applebloom patted him on the back. "Still... It doesn't really look like a very fun place." Scootaloo said. Applejack just didn't say a word. "Well, why don't we take a little look inside and then go back? I think we can leave before nightfall," Gloriosa said. "Yeah... I don't want to stay too long, either." Applejack said. "Well, shall we go in?" Rarity said. On the first floor, Flash, Gloriosa, and Scootaloo were talking. "The rumors say that there is a ghost here right? That's why, nobody comes near the place..." Gloriosa said. "No wonder. It's such an eerie place." Scootaloo said. "Huh? How unusual of you Scootaloo?" Flash said, "Are you scared?" "No, but it's a little... Hey, where is everyone?" It's just that this place is sort of..." Applejack went. "Haaa... It's silly. There are no ghosts here or anything. You can go back," Timber said. Timber then went towards the room past the third floor staircase. "You going to look around on your own?" Rarity asked. "I'll just peek into this room. It smells bad." Timber said. "What? Isn't that a little risky? Hey, w-wait!!" "Yes, I know that." Applejack said, "When I said there's no one here at all, I meant... how should I put it? It feels... as though everything has been... consumed..." "You mean you feel as though something's wrong?" Rarity asked, "If you feel that, maybe we really should keep out." "I agree. In that case, I'll go and take a look upstairs. What are you going to do AJ?" Timber asked. "I don't really want to stay on this floor. I'll go upstairs too." Applejack replied. "You're leaving me here all alone?" Rarity asked a bit shocked. "Applebloom and Sweetie Belle are on this floor too. They shouldn't be too far." Timber said. "Well, then, when you're done checking out upstairs, we'll meet again here." Rarity said. "All right, then we'll leave the second floor to you, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle." Timber said. "Thirty minutes should be enough. Don't fall asleep on us Rarity," Applejack said. "You can trust me~ Well, see you later," Rarity said as she walked off "Are you going to start from that room over there?" Timber asked Rarity. "Oui~ That room is bad news, isn't it? I'll leave it for later!" Rarity said. "Let's go quickly. If we make Twilight wait, she won't shut up about it." Applejack said. "You look pale. You really hate it here, don't you?" Timber asked. Applejack just said nothing as they made their way upstairs. The duo searched from the third floor all the way up to the fourth floor and didn't find anything out of the ordinary. "Well, we've come all the way up to the fourth floor, but... everything looks pretty normal. The air is terrible, though," Applejack said. "The bad feeling is still not gone? Let's get back to Rarity, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle and go home," Timber said. "No... I feel like that it's something different from that... Anyways, let's join Rarity and take a look," Timber said. "If you insist," Applejack said. When the duo got back down to the second floor, it had been fifteen minutes and Rarity, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle was nowhere to be seen. "Fifteen minutes..." Applejack said, "Aren't they coming?" "Just what's taking them? It shouldn't take this long to see the second floor," Timber said. "Knowing Rarity she probably got tired of waiting and went downstairs taking Applebloom and Sweetie Belle with her," Applejack groaned. "Well, I'll check the rooms on the second floor to make sure we didn't miss each other." Timber said, "Just wait here." Timber checked nearly all the rooms on the second floor until he came to the room emanating a bad smell. Going in he went towards the fireplace. "Burt firewood..." Timber said, "So this is the source of the bad smell." Looking a little deeper Timber's face went pale. "Huh?!" Timber said pulling out a half burnt jacket, "These are- No doubt about it... It's- Sunset's jacket. Wh-why is it covered in blood like this...? There's... remains of several things in the fireplace. But I can't tell what got burnt." Gripping the jacket Timber ran out of the room back to Applejack. "Well? Did you find her?" Applejack asked. Timber didn't reply. "You- you look frightfully pale!" Applejack said, "Wh- What have you got there?" "It's... It's Sunset's jacket..." Timber said, "Half of it got burnt, though..." "This is... blood... right?" Applejack asked, "Wait, did you say this is Sunset's jacket?! You mean they-" "This place is dangerous!" Timber said, "If Sunset's here, it's a different matter! We need to look for her and go home! Rarity, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle are missing, too. Flash was shooting at something. This place is too weird! We need to go talk to the others about this." "All right. Let's go back," Applejack said. The two then quickly headed downstairs and heard the sounds of a battle coming from the kitchen. Going down the hallway the sounds got louder and louder. Then they entered in and saw a horrifying looking monster fighting Gloriosa who wielded a water tap pipe and Scootaloo who had a baseball bat. "Aargh!! What the-! Uh? Huh?!" The monster then went for a punch to Gloriosa's face that hit upon contact after breaking through a water tap pipe Gloriosa was using as a weapon. "G-GLORIOSA!" Timber shouted in fear. "... Gloriosa said. Then in a swift motion, Gloriosa swung the sword multiple times at the monster like as if it was nothing making multiple cuts onto its body and sending it back into the wall. "Woeeeeh! That's nasty!!" Applejack chirped. "But it didn't even cause any damage!" Scootaloo pointed out. "L... let's give them reinforcements!" Timber said. "Right!" Applejack said getting ready to fight. The creature roared in anger at the sudden appearance of Sunset, but Sunset was unphased. It went for a charging attack with its horn but Sunset dodged out of the way and laid a slice across the back of its neck.It then turned around only for Sunset to jump into the air and have her pendant glow. "BLADE OF WRATH!" Sunset shouted. Stabbing the creature right into the chest a light emitted from the blade and with a twist and slice right down to its belly Sunset jumped off and an explosion happened sending the creature flying into the wall before disappearing. "Whoa! Wicked cool!" Scootaloo said. Sunset then helped everyone back to their feet. "Is everyone alright?" Sunset asked. "Yeah." They replied. "Have you fought that monster before? It wasn't the first time... was it?" Timber asked. "What? What are you talking about?" Sunset asked, "You have fought it before, too, haven't you? You got here first, after all." "We haven't been here for even an hour," Timber said. "But it takes five hours to get from to come here from CHS. We really have been here for only about an hour. Don't you think that's odd?" Sci-Twi, Timber, Scootaloo, Gloriosa, and Applejack followed behind Sunset where she led them to the place where Timber got Sunset's jacket and found Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie waiting for them. After closing the door and everyone got into a spot they felt comfortable with, Sunset joined in with the others. "Sorry for making you wait." Sunset said, "Now, without further ado, I'll explain our situation. First I got a message from Rarity saying you had arrived here and Pinkie thought it would be interesting and wanted to come as well. So Fluttershy, at first it was going to be Applejack but Pinkie Pie insisted on Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow and I came here. First, I went to take a look around, but in the meantime, that monster you saw before appeared and attacked them." "W-were you all alright after that?" Timber asked. "Yeah, somehow. For better or worse, it seemed to be targeting me, and you know I'm very good at running away since I can catch up with even Rainbow Dash, so I got to escape," Pinkie said. "Eventually, while we didn't know the true nature of that thing, we all got together again and spent the night in this room, with a sense of security because we had the key to it," Sunset said "We've run out of firewood. "We had a bad feeling while we were on the second floor, so Timber and I went to check out the third and fourth floor," Applejack said, "When we finished, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, and Applebloom were gone and Timber found Sunset's burnt jacket in this room, and wondered what happened." "We've theorized that it might be the mansion's doing or some outside power." Fluttershy said, "But haven't come up with a definitive conclusion." "We are hoping to find an answer to that soon, though," Sunset said. Suddenly the door to the room started clicking spooking everyone. "EEK!!" Fluttershy squeaked hiding behind Pinkie Pie. "S... Sunset..." Pinkie said in fear. "... So, it found us, after all. This room is no longer safe," Sunset said. "Shit! Was it EVER off-limits?!" Scootaloo said. "What are we going to do?!" Fluttershy squeaked. "My group will be in charge of dealing with the Thing. Pinkie, Timber, and Twilight, you'll search for the room to open with that key," Sunset said. Be careful, Sunset!" Pinkie said in fear. "Thank you," Sunset said as the creature broke in, "Well everyone, good luck." With a quick swift strike, the creature got sent hurtling into the wall. "Right now!!" Sunset shouted causing everyone but Gloriosa and Scootaloo to leave. "Everyone has escaped!" Scootaloo said. "FUCK ME IN THE ASS!! WHY WON'T THIS MOTHTHER FUCKER JUST STAY STILL?!" Scootaloo shouted in anger. "First off Scootaloo, you're using a baseball bat, that is one of the easiest things to dodge unless you're drunk." Sunset said, "And secondly, stand back!" Sunset then went for a Solar Flare that looked like as if it did little to no damage to it. Scootaloo in a fit of rage then threw her bat to the ground and ran towards the wall. "LET'S SEE IT DODGE THIS!" Scootaloo shouted jumping off the wall. And from that jump Scootaloo punched the monster across the face with a Superman Punch, following it up with a superkick, European Uppercut, and ending her attack barrage with a running Spear sending the creature straight into the wall. As Scootaloo ran back to the others the creature got up, but Sunset struck back with a slash across the monsters head landing a critical blow to it. Suddenly Gloriosa started feeling woozy. She dropped her weapon and held her head as a massive headache came to her as did a familiar voice. "Freeze it... Freeze it! FReeZe iT!! FREEEEZEEE IIIIT!!!" "K-K-K-K-Kolkhoze..." Gloriosa said quietly. Suddenly out of nowhere the monster's lower half froze over spooking both Sunset and Scootaloo. "WH-WHAT THE?! SUNSET?! DID YOU JUST DO THAT?!" Scootaloo asked. "N-NO!! WHAT THE?! HOW DID?!" Sunset stuttered. The two then looked at Gloriosa and then back to each other. "You don't think?" They said at the same time. The two then stopped their conversations and went back to fighting the creature.  Sunset then went for an attack, but even despite being halfway frozen, the creature managed to dodge her, but not Scootaloo who swung her bat hard across the creature's face. "FINALLY! I got a hit in!" Scootaloo said. "Great kid, don't get cocky!" Sunset warned before laying another attack onto the creature. Gloriosa had, in the meantime, shook off her headache and went back to the fight. Going in she landed a critical stab strike into the monster's chest making it bleed as she pulled her blade out. But for a split few seconds, Gloriosa thought she heard the sound of a clock ticking. Meanwhile, the monster laid in a punch onto Scootaloo but only did enough force to make her hold her stomach. Sunset then did an S.S.S onto it which broke it's ice holds. Scootaloo tried to go for another swing with her bat only to miss and get her angry again while Gloriosa laid upon another strike. But then for another few split seconds, she thought she heard a telephone ringing. Sunset had gone for another successful strike onto the monster while Scootaloo did her little off the wall move combination again and Gloriosa did her ice move again this time getting spotted by Sunset and Scootaloo, but when she did so she thought she heard the sounds of the floors creaking like as if they were about to break. "I KNEW IT!" Sunset said, "HOW THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THAT?!" "I DON'T KNOW!" Gloriosa shouted, "SOME VOICE THAT SOUNDED FAMILIAR TO ME TOLD ME TO FREEZE IT SO I DID! I DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD ACTUALLY WORK SINCE I HAVE NO MAGIC!" "NOW'S NOT THE TIME GUYS!" Scootaloo said. Sunset then went for another attack and hit, while Scootaloo, once again, missed because it dodged not only her but Sunset who went for another strike but couldn't when Gloriosa attacked. Sunset then again laid down another slash this time landing a critical one onto the creature's forehead while Scootaloo missed again, but to cover for it Sunset laid down another critical strike across its right arm while Gloriosa did the finishing blow by stabbing it in the eyes. And then it vanished. "We won't lose a second time! But's weird as fuck that it freaking disappears like that..." Scootaloo said, "We can't freaking tell whether we won or not!" "Well, at least it won't pollute the environment," Sunset said. "Not quite~ Maybe this will never end and it'll keep appearing. It's getting really tiring..." Gloriosa said. "Hey Sunset, you're not hurt are you?" Scootaloo asked while Gloriosa took a look around the room. "No, your backup was alright Scoots." Sunset said, "Pinkie had just been waking up from, what she told us anyway, a weird dream where nations were humanized and their personalities were based on the stereotypes of said nation and in it twelve of them were stuck in a mansion like us and the creature going after them was named Steve, or was it, Tony, and the whole thing revolved around this big time loop plotline where one of them used a spell from a book to go back in time to-" Scootaloo was just confused as all hell. "Uhhh. What?" Scootaloo asked. "Ugh, never mind, it was just another crazy dream of Pinkie's, not really all that important now that I think about it." Sunset said, "Anyways, Pinkie Pie had just been waking up and was quite surprised; she began yelling at it to get away by throwing pasta stuff at it to make it go away, but as you know a tomato ended up hitting me in the back instead. After we defeated it, the smell was really bothering me, so I threw it into the fireplace." "Where on earth did Pinkie Pie get pasta supplies? And since when did Pinkie ever love pasta?!" Scootaloo asked. "Scoots. Haven't you learned already? It's Pinkie Pie. Don't ever question it," Sunset said. "Well, what are ya gonna do for a jacket now?" Scootaloo asked. "I'm sure Rarity would be happy to help me get a new one. That one was kind of tearing apart anyways," Sunset said. Suddenly the two heard the sound of a clock breaking and looked to see Gloriosa holding a broken clock. "This clock was moving like crazy... I'm sorry. The tick-tock was too loud, so I broke it," Gloriosa said. "A clock?" Sunset asked. Sunset then went over to inspect it. "I'm sorry if it was some kind of clue, but it was really loud..." Gloriosa said. "A clock... Now that you mention it, we can't tell the time in this place." Sunset said, "The clocks on our phones are all out of synchrony." "They're really strange. Even though we came here ahead of Sunset's group unintentionally, they've been here longer." Scootaloo said taking out her phone, "By the way... it's 11:42 on my phone." "Huh?" Gloriosa went pulling out her phone, "But mine is showing the same time as yours, Scootaloo." "What?" Sunset went in a bit of fear pulling out her phone as well, "That wasn't supposed to... Oh! I-it's 11:42 on mine too! But it was around 6:00 just a moment ago..." "Do you think maybe it's because I broke the clock?" Gloriosa asked. "That's possible. At least in this room the time is right." Anyway, we have nothing else to do here, so let's go back to Applejack," Gloriosa said. "Indeed. If all goes well, Pinkie, Timber, and Twilight should also be able to join us there." Sunset can take care of herself," Sci-Twi said. "Ve. All right. Besides, if we run into that thing, I'd rather run away," Pinkie said. "Since when did you start going Ve all the time?" Timber asked. "It's Pinkie Pie Timber, don't question it," Twilight said. "Duly noted. Anyway, let's search these rooms once more and then... Hum... report to Applejack," Timber said. "Alright! Let's do our best guys!" Pinkie said. The trio then went around the house using it on all the locked doors only to come up short. When they used it on the door next to the turn off on the first floor left hallway Pinkie sighed sadly. The key isn't for this room either," She said "Well, there is one more locked room - a kinda Japanese-style room. Let's try that one," Sci-Twi suggested. "Okay." Pinkie replied, "Lead the way! Sci-Twi showed Timber and Pinkie the room she was talking about. It was just as she said, a Japanese-style room. "How did you know about this?" Timber asked. "I looked at it first before going up to the 3rd floor." Sci-Twi said, "I didn't find anything useful so I went up to the third floor." Looking around the room they were in the trio then noticed a door right near the entrance to the hallway they came through. "Hey, I remember that!" Sci-Twi said, "While I was looking around I tried opening it but it was locked!" Pinkie then used the key on it and it clicked unlocking. "It worked!" Pinkie said gleefully. The trio then went in and went up as soon as they came into the new room. "Huh." Pinkie said, "I wonder what's behind those doors." She instantly regretted asking as what came out was the monster. "RUN LIKE AN ITALIAAAN!!!" Pinkie shouted in fear running away in a cartoonish fashion. Pinkie looked back as did Sci-Twi, both screaming in horror seeing the creature not too far behind them. "SPLIT UP!!!" The two shouted together out of panic. Entering the Foyer Pinkie and Timber went left while Sci-Twi went to the right and the monster did too. Looking back Sci-Twi picked up speed and ran into the kitchen closing the door behind her, but the monster burst through the door, not knocking it off its hinges, but broke the lock causing Sci-Twi to jump as it ran for her, but she too began to run herself and ended up going behind the couch and ran for the door going nearly as Fast as Rainbow Dash when she wasn't using her magic. She didn't even bother to look back, she just ran straight for the bathroom to her right where she found Pinkie hiding in the toilet. She then made the decision to hide as well and hid underneath the water sink where she found Timber. "T-Timber!" Sci-Twi said in glee, "Oh thank god you're alright!" "Same!" Timber said with a bit of a blush, "Heh. You know I never expected us to end up in this situation." "Y-yeah." Sci-Twi said with a blush as well, "I-it's, um, k-kind of cramped." Suddenly the door to the bathroom opened and the two quickly went silent. They heard its footsteps as it walked around the place, getting either closer or farther from their location. Then, it just left altogether, they could tell by the fact the bathroom door opened then closed. They then came out of their hiding spots and took a breath of relief. "That was a close one!" Pinkie said coming out of the toilet and coming over to Sci-Twi and Timber. "Too close." Timber said, "Now what?" "Now we head back to that room," Sci-Twi said. "Aaactually there's something I wanted to do." Pinkie said, "There's a door in the kitchen we never checked and I wanted to check out what was in that room." "Yeah, I've gotta admit I'm a bit curious too." Sci-Twi said, "Let's check it out before we head back to that room. I mean if we don't the want to take a look inside is just gonna keep nagging at us until we finally take a look at it." "Agreed." Timber said, "Lead the way you two." After checking to make sure the creature was gone the trio left the bathroom and went back into the kitchen where they found the door Pinkie and Sci-Twi were talking about and went inside. In it was what looked to be just a storage room with the cupboards and bookshelves full of books. "What the?! MORE BOOKSHELVES FULL OF BOOKS?! Did whoever previously owned this house have a book fetish or something?!" Sci-Twi shouted. They then looked at large crate placed a little awkwardly at the wall. "If it wasn't. there wouldn't be any point to it." Sci-Twi said, "Let me try something real quick." Going to the number pad she pressed the number 5 and it made an electrical beep noise. She then followed it up with the numbers 7, 3, and 6 giving it the code of 5-7-3-6 and upon hitting enter the safe made a buzzing noise to let them know it was the wrong code. "Hmm. Looks like it takes a four digit code. Just as I suspected." Sci-Twi said, "The bad news is that we don't have enough information to unlock this safe, we're gonna have to investigate a little more before we can crack the code." "Well, then I say we get moving!" Timber said, "That freaky, inbred looking, spook of an anthro pony could show up any minute!" Sci-Twi and Pinkie just looked at him like as if he just said the craziest thing in the world. "What?" Timber asked. "That's, um, very descriptive," Sci-Twi said. "Eh, sorry. "It's similar to the piece the others found earlier. Here, let me take a look," Timber said. Pinkie then held the paper to where all three of them could see it. Sci-Twi's eyes then went big, "I know what these shapes are!" She said, "They're piano keys!" "How could ya tell?" Pinkie asked sweating a bit. "The formations of them are just too similar. It looks like the one on the left is upside down, though, Pinkie! We found a clue!" Sci-Twi exclaimed, "This might be the same thing as the other piece of paper! We've gotta tell the others what we found!" Suddenly Pinkie's phone let off its ringtone letting the trio know someone was calling. "Wh-what the?! Pinkie isn't that your phone?!" Timber asked. "Eh? Oh, y-you're right. Why? Our phones get no signal here!" Pinkie said. "How am I supposed to know?!" Timber said. "Try answering it," Sci-Twi said. Pinkie then took out her phone and looked at the number. "It's a number-withheld call..." Pinkie said before answering, "H... hello?" All she heard was the sound of a piano key before it hung up. Was there something on the keys before the red stuff was put on it?" Applejack asked. "Not to my knowledge," Fluttershy said. "Hmm... Fluttershy, ya still got yer spare paper towels?" Applejack asked "Of course!" Fluttershy said taking out some paper towels from a pocket on her skirt, "I always have them just in case of spill emergencies at home, school ,or the animal shelter." Applejack took some and begun to wipe off the keys accidentally pressing down on some of them by accident. When all was said and done, though, what was now on the keys surprised both of them. It was a series of red numbers on all of the white keys ranging from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0 and all of them in a scrambled order. "Numbers!" Applejack said, "Now who in the hay drew numbers on the keys?!" Fluttershy gasped before saying, "I think I know! It must be a code for something!" "Now, what in tarnation made y'all come up to that random conclusion?" Applejack asked. "I saw something similar to this in a movie I watched with Pinkie Pie once! It was a Japanese horror movie where six kids entered a mansion, got chased by this terrifying creature called Ao Oni and had to solve puzzles in order to escape! In the movie, one puzzle was like this, blood on the piano, and numbers were on the keys," Fluttershy said. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold the phone! You watched a horror movie with Pinkie?!" Applejack asked. "Not by free choice, though," Fluttershy said. "Oh." Applejack said, "Well do ya remember what the numbers went to?" "I-I'm sorry, but I don't.
