Silver-Chains

Pain was all that I could feel through out my body, like I fell from the sky till I landed here. Or should I say wherever here is. I decided to stop starring at the bright blue sky and look at my surroundings. Trees, nothing but trees. I was surrounded by trees, however I was in a small clearing of what I believe to be some kind of forest. I tried my best to remember what caused me to be here in the forest and why not at home if I had a home.

Then something caught my attention, the sound of voices nearby, I was debating to go towards it. Part of me didn't want to go because of the pain consuming my entire body the other reason was that I really didn't feel like doing anything at the moment while I could be enjoying nature's beauty.

However for all I know is that I'm lost and the source of the voices could help me out of this forest and possibly take me home. So pulling myself off the ground took about a few moments to do because of the pain that was in my body specially on my left side of me. I walked over to where the voices were coming from for a good five minuets or so I thought I couldn't really tell the time.

When I came across what I thought was the edge of the forest, found a large open area with a single tree on top of a hill. I didn't see anyone nearby except for a few colorful horses, on a picnic cloth under the tree. Wait since when are horses colorful and how come are they talking like their human? My self questioning was caught short when the lavender one spotted me.

"Um.. girls" said the lavender pointing at me with her hoof or at least I think she is pointing because that brought the others attention to me. There were six in total talking horses, two normal looking ones, two winged horses... um Pegasus's, Pegasi? Which ever was plural, also one unicorn, and the lavender one was a mixture of a Unicorn-Pegasus crossbreed.

I am honestly shocked I don't know what to say, I guess I'm either in a dream, I'm hallucinating or this is really happening. I will prefer to go with the first one. "Is that a wild human, and why is he wearing that mask?" asked the white unicorn with concern.

'Wild human, really?' I tried to say but however it didn't escape from my breath. 'Wait am I mute? Besides what mask, I'm not wearing a mask' I thought to myself while moving my hand to my face only to have it touching metal instead. How come did I not notice this before, and how can I still see. Is it like one of those one way mirror of some sorts?

The yellow Pegasus hovered over to me slowly, yet she was showing cautions from her expression. "Fluttershy wait you don't know how it could react" yelled the orange one. So the yellow one is named Fluttershy, heh must be a cultural thing.

"Can't you see he is injured?" she said pointing at my cut across my left arm. Funny that I didn't even notice that too, what else haven't I noticed? "Besides, he is not wild. Look at him, he's wearing clothes", Fluttershy explained gesturing to my attire.

I had to ask didn't I? The one known as Fluttershy gently touched my wound causing me to pull it back and wince in pain. This must of scared them, because I heard gasps from all except Fluttershy who just stood there petrified like a statute, like they expected me to lash out or become aggressive. After a few seconds of staring at each other one of them finally spoke up breaking the silence. "Well it seems docile" exclaimed the white unicorn obtaining a few nods from her friends.

"Come now lets get you to my cottage and fix you up" Fluttershy said to me grabbing ahold of my arm and slightly pulling me into the direction of her cottage. While her friends followed most likely due to my so called uniqueness.

Fluttershy had brought me to her cottage which was of most bizzar to me, there were so many species of animals living within her cottage with her. "Now sit" Fluttershy told me softly as she left the room.

I looked around to see the others eyeing my every move, like I was some dangerous beast. I decided that it would be best that I do as they say, at least till I could speak again. So I walked over to the couch and sat down causing a few curious glares. Luckily Fluttershy came back or I would have been killed by the curious faces that watched me.

"Okay now hold still, this might hurt a little" she said motherly as she placed ointment on my wound. I bit my lip holding back a yell, as the pain wrapped its self around my arm. When she bandaged the wound I couldn't help but let out a weak whimper from the pain. "There you go" she said before gently kissing the forehead of my mask, which for some reason felt like my actual face.

"So what do we do, with him now?" asked the cyan pegasus. Bringing a good question up, for them to discuss while I try to figure out where I was or wasn't.

"We should go looking for his owner" replied the crossbreed. 'Wait a second , what you talking about crossbreed' I tried to say again however it was once again stopped for me.

"What if we cant find, his owner. What then?" asked the pink one. I tried to get up, cause I wanted out of this mess. However I was stopped by Fluttershy who was insisting that I stay where I was.

"Well if we don't find his owner, he can stay here" Fluttershy replied. Causing everyone to give her unsure looks, while I was to busy trying to understand what they meant by owner. 'Last time I check mankind aren't pets unless they mean slaves. Then that case I want nothing to do with these ponies.'

"Well first we should see if he is healthy. We don't know how long he could of been lost, and ah' know if one of mah humans was returned to me, ah' would want him to be in good health" the orange one said causing me to stiffen up. 'Yeah I'm sure, I'm not wanting to become a slave for a little horse anytime soon' I thought as I planned my escape from being imprisoned.

"Applejack since you have humans, would you like to help me check him for any health problems then?" Fluttershy asked immediately setting off alarms for me, as the orange one or now known as Applejack nodded in agreement.

I quickly hopped onto my feet and tried to exit the cottage, however I found it hopeless as I was stopped in my tracks by a purple aura that was being emitted from the crossbreed's horn. 'You are now my number one nemesis'

"What got him stirred up all of a sudden?" Asked the cyan one as I was pulled back towards them. The aura that had me restrained was too strong for me to keep struggling, but for whatever reason I felt like I was getting stronger the longer the aura was around me.

I decided to wait for a more easier way to escape, one were there is no crossbreed or unicorn in the way. So I stopped struggling and eventually a few minuets later the crossbreed let me go. "Now lets strip him down, while he's calm" Applejack in formed as she and Fluttershy came closer.

"Ill help with the mask" replied the cyan one as she dived in to help. I felt weird for a second like everything came to a stand still, that soon passed after I saw my arm move and catch the cyan one by the neck like it moved on it's own. This of course shocked everyone of them, especially the cyan one.

As soon as I realized what happened I moved my hand away, and felt sleep come to me, as I collided with the floor.

I opened my eyes to a intriguing sight, I was standing in a endless room darkness. However I wasn't standing on a floor or ground of any sorts, instead I was standing on thin air. My curiosity had got to me, so I tried to speak once more. "Hello?" the sound of my voice echoing made me happy finally being able to speak once more.

I then started to feel the peaceful silence that was in the air, in fact the tranquility reminded me of what I felt just before I caught the cyan pegasus. However this felt more of a stronger version, and it showed no sign of stopping. "Yes" replied a calm and soothing voice from above.

"Who's there?" I asked into the darkness, before taking a few steps forward.

There was a moment of silence but then the voice returned. "You will be waking up soon, I can only answer a few questions if any. Is that really what you want to know?" the voice replied giving me goosebumps.

"So I'm asleep ok, Who am I? and how did I get to this world?" I asked trying to find the source of the voice.

Once more I found only silence before my mysterious friend answered once more, with more of a clearer answer this time. "Your not asleep, only in a state of drainage. You entered this world from a trans-dimensional portal from earth sixty-eight point nine to be exact. Don't worry Thomas I will meet you again when you actually sleep".

"Wait I still have questions!" I yelled towards the voice.

"We'll meet again, just remember to find the light in silver" the voice told me as a bright white light came rushing at me.
