After three more grueling days of working at Pancake Paradise, Pinkie and Twilight finally got their paychecks. "Only forty dollars?" asked Twilight when they both pooled their money. But, Twilight didn't care how much they had, they were gonna get a motel room! They both ran back to the motel where the same lady was waiting for them at the desk.

"Here's twenty dollars!" said Twilight happily. The lady took the money and gave them the room key. Twilight was excited to finally be able to sleep in a bed; she needed energy to perform the spell again! When she opened the door, she was let down a little bit. The room was filled with mold from top to bottom. A dog was sleeping on a bed. Or was it sleeping? Twilight avoided it anyway. When she laid down on the bed, it was as hard as a rock, and some insects crawled out of her pillow.

"This motel isn't healthy!" said Twilight angrily. Pinkie didn't really care though. And what does Pinkie do whenever she thinks she hits a milestone? She throws a party. Twilight didn't notice, because she was too busy trying to make the place habitable. Pinkie had stepped outside and was telling everyone on the block to come to a big party she was throwing."Hey, everyone! Listen up, because we're gonna have a huge party at the Cozy Place Motel in room 12!" And everyone was gathering around Pinkie and were getting excited about the party.

After Pinkie let the word out of the party, she came back to the motel room. Twilight had done an amazing job cleaning the place up without magic. Twilight was too tired to use magic, remember? She had made the beds pest-free, gotten the dog out of the room, and even cleaned everything else that she could see that could possibly contain germs. Twilight was sleeping on the bed.

"Wake up, sleepy head!" said Pinkie cheerfully, as Twilight awoke with a fright "We're gonna have a major party tonight, and we gotta get this place ready!" Twilight's hand smacked her forehead. "Pinkie, I never said we could have a party! I only got this room so I could rest, and then be able to perform the spell!" Pinkie, of course, didn't care. "Too bad, 'cause we're gonna be throwin' a party! Now, help me get some decorations and food!" Pinkie grabbed the other twenty dollars and went back outside to get supplies. Twilight moaned, and went back to bed.

Twilight was awoken rudely again. She looked around the room, to see where the noise was coming from. It was a knock at the door, and Pinkie immedantly went to answer it. Twilight then focused her attention on the room itself. With what little money they had, Pinkie had done a great job decorating the place in bright steamers and banners. She had even used the small kitchen in their room to make some cupcakes and punch. Heck, she even got a stereo somehow.

"Hi there! Come on in! Everything's set and ready to go!" As the first few guests piled into the small room, they looked a tad bit disappointed. You see, they didn't think they'd be having a party for a little girl's birthday party. They were thinking of a party with alcohol and loud, booming music. The guests left as quickly as they came. "Wait! Why are you all leaving?" asked Pinkie desperately. They didn't speak a single word; they just slammed the door shut.

Twilight was a bit pleased. She didn't want to have a party, just a nice, long sleep. As more guests arrived, they saw the decorations and such and left like all the others. Soon, it was ten o'clock and the guests stopped arriving. Pinkie was very disappointed, so she grabbed her platter of cupcakes and ate they all as she laid on the bed. "Cheer up, Pinkie! We'll be going home tomorrow." Pinkie looked at Twilight with big, sad eyes. "But Twilight, this new world is so cool! And so are our new bodies and stuff! I mean, I was able to cook these cupcakes twice as fast with these hand thingies!" Pinkie then resumed her cupcake-eating.

Twilight couldn't keep thinking about how sad Pinkie looked that night. She did her best to sleep, but she kept waking up thinking about Pinkie. In the morning, Twilight looked at Pinkie and said, "Ready to go?" She said "Yeah..." very depressed. The headed into an alleyway to avoid people's gazes. Twilight pulled out her wand and performed the spell again. As usual, the same thing happened. The portal, sucking up everything, then putting items back in their original places.

This time, the spell worked since Twilight was rested. They ended up back in the library, with Spike looking worried. Twilight checked to make sure she was a unicorn, and she was. Spike then saw them. "Guys! You're okay!" he said, running up to Twilight and hugging her. "Sorry we were gone for so long, Spike." said Twilight. "What do you mean? I heard your screams, I saw a portal close, and then right after that, you were back!" Twilight was confused. Are days on that other world only mere seconds in Equestria?

Twilight looked at Pinkie, who said "Twilight, I wanna go back! Why can't we go explore that world some more?" Little did Pinkie know, Twilight had been thinking about something all last night. "Spike, write a letter to Celestia: We have found a new world and would like for you to help us in contact with the world's leaders." Pinkie got a huge smile on her face.
