"Are they real?~ And do they feel?~"
"There is a mares voice echoing in a black void that is reading out random numbers." "6, 23, 14, 5, 1, 6, 27, 11, 4, 18, 95, 10, 23, 56, 6, 1, 99,- Hey...~
"I hear a masked robotic-like voice, but I give it no mind and listen to the mare again but I don't know why I'm listening to numbers?" -4, 12, 7, 21,- Hey!...~ "There it is again the outside voice... AGAIN!"
"HEY WAKE THE BUCK UP!!!" My eyes snap open with a audible snap but I instantly close them do to the overwhelming light I unwittingly let in. "Uh!..." I screamed out. "Hey! Wake up!" I hear the voice scream.
"Huh? Gilda?..." 'Wait why did I just say my long time friends name aloud?' I thought for second. "I didn't have a second to dwell on it as my attention was pulled to a bunch of TV monitors a loudspeaker and a tinted window with somepony standing in the room ready to speak in a microphone I guessed."
"What is your name soldier?" Asked the pony behind the glass. "Wha-? Where am I?! W- Where's Gilda?!" I demanded at the figure while trying to stand to my shock I couldn't?! I look down and find myself strapped to a chair. Both my wrist, my wings and legs were bound down.
I try to struggle against my restraints, then an electric shock started to run threw my body. "Arghh!..." It went on for three seconds then it stopped. As I gasped to regain my breath the speaker came on again.
"Your name is Rainbow Dash, You were born on November 4th, 0995 A.N., you enlisted in the Equestrian Royal Air Force at 19 years old. Ranking of Private First Class under command of Sergeant Spitfire. You spent three years in the Royal Air Force/Wonderbolts then you were selected by Princess Luna to be recruited into a "underground" Spec. Ops Regiment under First Lieutenant is that correct?" Spoke the voice out of the speaker.
The now named pegasus mare was gasping for air as she glared at the figure behind the window. "Buck- Gasp! You!" Dash pushed out between her breaths, not a second after she said that she was zapped agian."ERGH!!..." The duration is again three seconds then stops.
"IS. THAT. CORRECT." The voice asked Dash thru the speaker in minor irritation. "Y-Yes! Gasp! Yess!..." Dash screamed out wishing to not go thru being electrocuted a third time.
"Hey, who the buck are you?! Where's Gilda she was ju-" Dash didn't get to finish the rest of her sentence as the voice came through again. "That's irrelevant to who you are and what I need from you" The voice said.
"Wait! What? What do I have that you need?! Huh?! You're not making any sense damn it! How am I-" "What do the numbers mean Dash? You remember, don't you?" The voice threw the speaker asked cutting Dash off in mid-rant. "Wha- What? What bucking numbers?" Rainbow Dash asked in a raised voice. "What do the numbers mean Dash?" The voice asked again, at the same time the monitors in front of Rainbow Dash were flashing through random numbers.
As Dash began staring at the numbers flashing on the monitors her eyes glazed over and she was starting to fall into a trance, if it wasn't for the fact she felt the high voltage current going through her body.
"ERAAGHH!!!..." Screamed Dash as her muscles involuntarily tensed to the point she thought they were going to tear apart. The current stayed for six unjustly seconds then stopped, the rainbow maned pegasus slumped in her chair as much as the restraints would allow as her muscles unwind, her eyelids were wide open almost near circle as she was pulling air in through her nose and out the mouth. "Hah!... Hah!... Hah!..."
Then the voice on the speaker came on again. "Okay let's start from the beginning, when you were recruited into the regiment soon after, you were assigned to Colonel Applejack's team for a mission in the city of Neighgeria in the Nation of Zebrafrica.
"I was never in Neighgeria..." Dash said weakly.
"DON'T BUCK WITH ME RAINBOW CRASH!- Yelled the Interrogator, we all knew you were there, so was Sunset Strip, Quick Scope and Applejack." Said the Interrogator in a more calm tone of voice.
"Applejack?" RD said in a tone that screamed lost recognition. "Yes, why were you and Colonel Apple's team in Neigheria for?" Questioned the Interrogator.
"Oh that." Said Dash weakly. "Somehow I just knew that we shouldn't have been there" Dash spoke to herself aloud as she was spacing out from the memories of the mission.
"Why? Why did you think that Dash?" Asked the Interrogator. Dash thought for a moment then it started. "17~" Dash started hearing the voice that was saying random numbers again. "Uh!..." Said RD as she winced and shock her head side to side as if in pain. "12, 7, 34, 9,- 'Huh?' Said Dash in a pained voice. -24, 3, 53,-"
"Dash, are you okay?" The Interrogator asked with concern through the speaker."-7, 15,- "NO! I'm hearing these bucking numbers! BUCK!" "-6, 1, 22, 8, 65,-" "DASH! TELL ME! WHAT ARE THEY SAYING?!" The Interrogator asked in raised panicking voice.
Dash didn't know which voice to listen to at this point her consciousness was fading and she was fighting to stay conscious as the numbers kept going. "-23, 2, 19~"
Dash lost the fight and passed out.
"DASH? DASH?!~" Yelled the Interrogator.
RD's Inner thoughts
"I Knew some how I should've let AJ know that something wasn't right about all this. That day when we were suppose to go to the rendezvous point after we gathered our gear for the mission. The amount of "hustle and bustle" in any city from the Zebras and/or ponies would be the last thing on anyponies mind. But then again I'm a soldier, not a civilian."
