Tirek joins Discord

Burning Axe and Tri Trot made true to their word and reached the cave sooner than expected.

"He's in there," Tri said, in a rather low, angry voice. Burning Axe's ears were flat against his head, and his eyes were thin with anger. Pheebs was his friend, and NO ONE messed with his friends!

He said nothing as he went towards the cave first.

"You cover me from the back and if I yell 'Tea,' you come and get Pheebs" He ordered, before cantered right to the caves entrance.

Tirek was bleeding the friendship from Pheebs when Burning burst into the cave. She turned her head weakly and smiled slightly, before  fainting from  exhaustion, but not before mouthing the word, 'No,'.

As soon as Burning saw Pheebs, his eyebrows narrowed in flames. "Pheebs!" He cantered over to her, and nudged her, hoping to wake her.

He was taken by his tail and dangled in front of Tirek's yellow, narrow eyes. "And who are you?" Tirek said calmly, his tone cold.

After taking in Tirek bull-like head and black hooves, Burning swallowed, and turned himself to look back at his unconcus friend.

"Burning Axe!" He said boldly, "And you won't get away with hurting my friend!"

Burning then spat in Tireks face.

Outside, Tri - Trot was waiting for the code word, but he couldn't wait any longer. He cantered up the hill at full speed.

"Hello Tritrot, nice to see you again," He stopped short as he bumped into Discord who had suddenly appeared in front of him without warning. "And where are you going?"

He needed to hurry and think of a way of tricking Discord so he could go and find Burning and get Pheebs away.

"Is that Fluttershy over there?!" He pointed deeper into the forest and Discord snapped his head round, hoping, smiling. "Fluttershy??" He then zoomed away from the jet black pony. Tri smirked as he continued rushing up to the cave.

Rushing to the entrance, he scanned the cave to see Burning Axe on the a rock face, facing Tirek, and the minotaur was shooting bright red lasers from his horns, trying to target the horse. Burning leapt here and there, and then caught eye of Tri, and smirked, now was the tester.

Pheebs's hoof was still chained to the cave wall, so he had to angle himself so that the next beam of Tireks horn would just catch the metal, and not harm the Pegasus it was connected to.

"Over here, you dumb bull!!"

He taunted. Tirek was enraged as he targeted Burning, and Tri got read to get Pheebs out of the way as soon as the mare was free. The beam blasted into the chain, frying it to bits, but leaving a bit locked around her hoof. Tri-trot pulled on the mares mane, dragging her out of the cave quickly.

Burning Axe saw this and smiled. He galloped down the hill, and Tri-trot released Pheebs's tail. He helped put Pheebs onto Burning Axes back and they both helped carry her to Ponyville General.

That night, it was the Grand Galloping Gala, and the nurse-mare at the hospital had said that Burning could take Pheebs, if she didn't over do it. He smiled and took her as his guest. He didn't mind that she had the main part of the chain still attached to her hoof. She wore a dress that was golden, to match the chain, so it didn't look odd.

"Thank you for bringing me Dash," She said kindly to him.

Dash smiled to her in return. "No problem." He replied, and the music started playing.
