Just A Little Experiment

"Twilight! I got another letter from the princess!" Spike shouted, waving at Twilight, who was sitting upstairs on her bed, her nose buried between the pages of another book.

"Oh, thanks Spike! I hope it's something to do with that extra credit assignment Celestia was talking about!" The purple unicorn said, looking up from her book.

Spike handed over the scroll of parchment and Twilight carefully unrolled it.

"My dearest Twilight;" she began. "There is some extra credit work that I think you would like to attempt to earn more marks on the recent Romantic Love test that I assigned you. It will test all that you have learned about romantic love and sex appeal. To get these extra marks, you must have a try at what I like to call filly fooling. To do this, you must read over the book 'Filly Fooled' by Midnight Sun. Then simply attempt the things on this list I have enclosed. I hope you do well. Yours truly, Princess Celestia."

"Uh, Twilight?"

Twilight was lost for words. "...Spike...?"

Spike's voice became a whisper. "Do you...remember what filly fooling is?"

"Y - yes..."

"Would you even feel comfortable doing this?"

"I - I guess if Celestia has given this to me, I should do it...even if it's only extra credit...I mean, I do want to achieve maximum score on the test..."

Spike shook his head. "Eh, if you wanna do it, that's great. Fine by me. I'm not gonna rule your life. Now, I'm off to take an extra long, hot bubble bath!" And with that, the dragon gleefully raced off downstairs to the bathroom.

Twilight was still in slight shock. "C'mon Twi, filly fooling can't be that bad... after all, it's only an experiment." she said to herself.

She unrolled the second piece of parchment and read aloud to herself:

"List of Extra Credit assignments:

1. Read 'Filly Fooled' by Midnight Sun.

2. Find a mare who you feel comfortable with.

3. Attempt kissing this mare.

4. Did you like it? If so, write about how it felt and continue.

5. Attempt to have sex with the mare.

6. Which do you prefer? Report back to me your findings."

Twilight blushed. "Don't panic Twi...Only an experiment, remember. Only an experiment."

She was still left wondering. Why was Princess Celestia acting like this all of a sudden, and why would the extra credit assignment be something like this? Well, Twilight had heard rumors of the princess being a bit of a troll sometimes, even to students, royal guards, heck, even Luna. Did she really want to do this just for extra credit?

Twilght decided to ask some questions about herself.

"Okay, Twi... One. Have you ever had a crush on a mare?" She asked herself. The answer to that simple question was complicated. "Well, no...but I guess I have thought about kissing Pinkie Pie or Rainbow before, I guess...That doesn't make me a filly fooler, does it?" She sighed. "This is going nowhere. You're going to have to just get out and do it. If you like it, you're a filly fooler. If you don't, you're definitely not. Alright. Let's just do this, Twilight."

So she took a deep breath. "Okay, here I go..." Twilight suddenly giggled. "You've been talking to yourself a lot. You're going crazy!"

She shook her head and trotted down the creaky wooden stairs of the library. She was about to walk out of her house when there was a knock. She opened the front door and saw a pink pony standing there, a huge beam on her face.

"Watcha doin', Twi?" She said in her usual high pitched voice.

"Oh, uh, just some extra credit work for Princess Celestia. What about you?"

"Nothing! That's why I came here! I already asked everypony else what they were doing, but nopony was doing anything FUN!"

Twilight attempted to hide the scroll behind her back. It was only a matter of time before Pinkie tried to read it.

"HEY! What's that scroll you got there?"

"Oh, uh, nothing - "

But Twilight had already lost her grip of the parchment. Pinkie excitedly unrolled it and her eyes darted across the page. She giggled a few times here and there. Twilight had come to realise, over time, that was never usually a good sign. It meant something was up.

"You're supposed to KISS and HAVE SEX with another mare?!" Pinkie squealed with delight.

"SHUSH! Spike will hear!"

The pony ignored Twilight's pleas. "That sounds FUN - A - FUN FUN! Pick me, pick me!"

She sighed. "Okay...but it's only an experiment and we're only doing it once. Oh, and you must NEVER tell anypony. Got it?"

Pinkie nodded. "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye. Ooooooh! I just had the most SUPERFUN idea! Let's have a THREESOME! With DASHIE!"

Twilight swore she nearly choked. "What?"

"Threesomes are so AMAZING! I've had one before. With Applejack and Rainbow Dash! I'm sure Dash would be up for it again!" Pinkie's voice became a whisper. "She's really good, y'know!"

"Uh..." Twilight stammered. "...o - okay...I guess..."

"YAY! I'm off to get Dash! Don't move!"

Twilight was still in shock. She just stood there, panicking, for what felt like hours, until she heard excited wing - flapping and bouncing coming from outside.

"Hey, Twi! Ready to have some fun?" Dash asked, an excited tone in her voice.

"Uh - um - yeah?" She answered nervously.

"ALRIGHT! Let's get going!" The two excited ponies shouted in unison.
