//-------------------------------------------------------// Alternate World Of Opposites -by Kellster- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chores, Chores, Chores! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chores, Chores, Chores! Applebloom wiped the sweat off of her head as she pushed the last bucket of apples into the wagon. "That's the last of 'em!" She said, falling to her hooves. She's been working all day, and she never got a chance to play. Applebloom beamed with happiness as Apple Jack came by, checking on her progress. "Thank Celestia you're here! Can I take a little break? Please????" Applebloom said, turning on her puppy eyes. "I'm sorry, sugarcube. But that's not the last batch yet." The orange pony said, pointing at another part of the sanctuary. "Besides, we still have lots of work to do! We've barely even started!" Applebloom's eye twitched. Barely even started? BARELY EVEN STARTED??? She's done so much already, she didn't think it could get even worse. "Your next chore is to feed the pigs, oh, and don't forget to feed the chickens too!" Applejack gave her a small checklist. But as she unfolded it, it wasn't small at all. Aplebloom was furious, she's never done this much work before! "Why am I doing all this?? I haven't done thi much before and now you're making me do all your work!?" "Look, it ain't my fault." AJ said, trying to calm her little sister. "Big Mac's forehoof broke, remember? I have to do the chores he can't do and help him with the ones he can! Plus, you're a growing girl, don't you want to learn how I handle the farm?" Applejack trotted off to the barn, getting ready to do her next chore. Applebloom fell to the ground, exhausted. "I can't believe this! I'm just gonna take a little break." She said. Applebloom then went off to town to look for her comrades. "I'm back!" Sweetie Belle said, unstrapping her saddlebag. "I delivered them all to the ponies you asked me to, Rarity!" She set the saddlebag on the end table near the door and awaited her sister's reply. "Rarity? Rarity?? RARITY!!!!" After a couple of seconds, the light grey unicorn finally came running down the stairs, surprisingly messy. "I'm so sorry, darling! I'm just so behind on my orders that I can't clearly focus! I'm so, so, sorry I had to ask you of all this." She said, trying to fix her mane. "It's fine, I've got nothing to do today anyways." Sweetie Belle said. "So, what do you want me to do next?" Rarity thought about it for a while, and finally remembered that she already made a list of things to do for her. "Wait right here!" She said, trotting up the stairs. Once she came down, she gave Sweetie a clipboard with loads of papers clipped onto it. Sweetie's mouth was wide open, trying to read some of the things written on the list.... ......5. Ask Spike to ~~give Rarity a massage~~ let us borrow some gems and we'll give him more soon...... ......17. Deliver Derpy's 'Special Muffin Dress' NOTE: Do NOT eat the muffins off the dress!!!.... ........22. Buy fabric..... ....23. ~~Spy on Rainbow Dash to see if she's actually doing anything girly~~Buy even more fabric...... ....so on so forth. "Good luck, darling!" Rarity said as she quickly trotted back upstairs to continue making more clothes. Sweetie Belle sighed. "So much for not having anything to do today." She scanned the list once again, looking for a place she could squeeze in a little break. "Well.....I could spend a little time relaxing somewhere when I give back the fashion magazine to Twilight right here at number 6." Sweetie nodded at her plan, also giggling at the fact that Rarity clearly crossed out "how to make cats like you better" to make it look like she didn't borrow such a thing. Sweetie stopped giggling and followed all her orders and went for a break just like how she planned. Scootaloo raced on as she was being chased by predators. The breeze she felt before turned into fast wind that hit right into her face. She wiped the sweat off as she ran, but it was no use. She kept sweating and sweating, it felt like she came out of a hot bath and she didn't dry herself yet. Finally, she came to a stop. This could happen any longer. Scootaloo finally allowed herself a moment to breathe. Just then, the sounds of the predators were coming closer and closer. Scootaloo's heart started beating faster and faster. She calmed herself, chanting "I can do it....I can do it..." over and over again. She finally got up and gave it all her might. She spread her wings and flapped them as hard as she could. Then..... finally..... she flew up and zoomed up to the sky, leaving the land predators watching her from below. Scootaloo happily dashed through the sky, glad that she finally flew. For the first time ever in her life. ".....well? Did I do it?" ".....................You've done good, kiddo!" "Yay!" Scootaloo said, fluttering a little bit. Rainbow Dash chuckled. "You've mastered making fanfiction!" Rainbow smiled greatly, proud that she was a good teacher. Scootaloo danced almost everywhere, jumping and doing cartwheels. "What's my next lesson? Is it fighting manticores? Or maybe hydras!? OH! OH!! Are you gonna teach me on how to be a Wonderbolt!?!" Rainbow Dash rubbed Scootaloo's head and said, "Of course! I'm going to teach you everything that I've done. You know, cuz these lessons are about how awesome I am!" Scootaloo smile drooped a little bit. About how awesome she is? Sure, Rainbow Dash is awesome, Scootaloo treated her like a 'big sis'. She interrupted Rainbow as she was making heroic poses and said, "Um....don't you mean on how to become awesome?" Rainbow stopped posing, and patted Scootaloo. "Oh, right. That." She said, not sounding very convincing. But not wanting to upset her #1 fan, she added, "But of course, I am the definition of 'awesome', so teaching you everything that I do is kinda essential. This is about how to be cool and unstoppable, not just me. Remember that!" Scootaloo saluted as she started taking notes. "So, back to my other question, what's my next lesson?" Scootaloo said, putting down her quill. Rainbow Dash made a 'mysterious' laugh and said, "Well.....let's see....." And for the whole afternoon, Scootaloo trained like her life depended on it. As she grew tired, her performance started to drop. Rainbow looked at her with a worried expression and quickly got mad. "What're you doing? You should be kicking those fake dummy ninjas, not poking them!" Scootaloo stopped to catch her breath. "I'm sorry, I guess I'm just a little tired. Can I get a break?" Rainbow got even angrier. "What? Break? No!" Then, thinking that would make Scootaloo dislike her, she hastily added, "Well, I'll give you a break for now. But next time, be prepared 'cuz there ain't gonna be no breaks!" Scootaloo tilted her head in curiosity. "Why?" "Because!" Rainbow said, trying to sound professional. "If you wanna be cool, you have to show off the fact that you're a pro and there's no such thing as taking a break because you're 'too tired' or 'exhausted'." Scootaloo saluted again and said, "Aye aye, ma'am! I promise I won't take any more breaks next time!" Scootaloo slowly trotted off to town to find someplace to relax, surely there are many places to find relaxation. "I've gotta find somewhere to hide, I'm sure Applejack's already called the whole Apple Family just to find me." Applebloom said, running from place to place, looking for a place to both hide and relax. "I'm sure Rarity won't mind me taking a little break. I mean, what's the worse that could happen?" Sweetie Belle said, strutting down the streets of Ponyville. "Unless Rarity gets furious if it gets delayed and chases after me!" Sweetie bit her lip and started running as fast as she could. "No breaks, huh? Well, in that case, I'll extend this break! I hope Rainbow won't think of this as skipping my lessons. Besides, in lesson 8, to be cool the rules are there are no rules!" She said, running away and finding somewhere that Rainbow won't find. However, she wasn't properly looking at where she was going..... BAM!!! The three fillies smacked into each other, making them dizzy. When they snappedout of their dizziness and looked at each other they fell into laughter. "Well, I guess I'm not the only one running away from something and not looking at where I was going." Applebloom chuckled. "Yeah....I was just running away from Rarity for a bit. She's making me way too much work." Sweetie Belle admitted. "Hey, so did I!" Applebloom and Scootaloo said in sync. "Well, except, Rainbow just gave me way too many lessons that I got tired." Scootaloo said. "I have an idea!" Applebloom said, raising her hoof. "Why don't we all hide together! Then they'll find us together, we get scolded together! So we all won't feel as bad!" The other two looked at each other with glee. That was a perfect idea for the situation! "Yeah!" The three clapped their hooves together with joy. Sweetie looked around the place for a spot to hide. "So....where do we hide?" The three brainstormed as silence fell into the group. Scootaloo thought of it the most, knowing that Rainbow Dash taught her something about hiding. "Aha!" She screamed out loud. "I know just the place to hide, it won't be impossible for us to be found, but at least it'll be very difficult for them to find us!" Scootaloo awaited her friends' reaction, hoping for a good reply. "Twilight's Castle?" Applebloom said in confusion. "How is this a hard place to find? It's literally the hugest landmark in Ponyville! Even at night you can see the shining crystal walls of the castle." "Look, this place is huge in the inside, remember?" Scootaloo said with a smug smile. "Since it's got hundreds of rooms, I bet it'll take them hours to find us!" Sweetie smiled. "You've got to admit, she has a point!" Applebloom thought about it for a moment and finally gave into the logic. "Alright, fine. But if we get lost or something bad happens and nopony finds us, I'm warning you right now." Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle each looked at each other. Applebloom had a point, but they were running out of time. Scootaloo put on a brave look and said, "Don't worry, we'll be fine!" Scootaloo stepped up onto the stairs first and knocked on the door loudly, just in case Twilight, or perhaps Spike, was too far away to hear her knocking. After a few moments have passed, the door swung open. "Oh, hey there Scootaloo!" Spike said. "What are you three doing here?" The trio paused for a moment. They din't think this through. Then finally, Sweetie Belle broke the silence and said, "We, uh, left something in here!" Spike looked at them in confusion. "What do you mean? You haven't visited me and Twilight for weeks. Why only tell me now?" The three paused again. This time, they were desperate for an explanation. They can't back out anymore. "U-um.....just a while ago! See, when I borrowed the gems from you....I...um...left my handkerchief! Yeah! I only remembered while I was hanging out with them, so they came along with me!" Sweetie said hastily. The three of them gave Spike a big, innocent grin to try and convince him. "Sure, come on in. I'm not sure where you dropped it, but you three look for it. I'm kinda busy posing in front of my mirror.....I MEAN-" Spike cut off his sentence and took a deep breath. "What I meant to say was, I'm kinda busy helping Twilight with her.....research! Yeah, research." Spike quickly ran off back inside, leaving the door open for them. The three giggled at Spike's babbling and continued inside. "Great! Now where do we go?" Applebloom said, looking around the entryway. Scootaloo tried to look brave and stood up straight. "We'll just find a place to hide! Easy! There are plenty of rooms to hide in!" She said, trotting off to a the hallway. The other two followed her. After what it seemed like forever, The three stopped searching and fell. None of the rooms were useful. Some rooms would be great, but it would be easy to find. Other rooms would be difficult to get to, but it would be very hard to hide inside. "Ugh, I'm sick of this! Let's just go to the next room we find, then we're done!" Scootaloo stomped her hoof, furiously trotting towards the next room. "Wait!" Sweetie Belle said, putting her hoof on Scootaloo's shoulder. "We shouldn't just give up like that. Maybe there's a castle map in the library. That way, we can easily find the perfect room!" Applebloom facehoofed, thinking of why they didn't think of that in the first place. They all rushed to the library, trying to be very sneaky just in case Twilight comes. After lots and twists and turns, they finally arrived at the library. They were all relieved that they finally found it, but they still had to find the book. "So, where are we supposed to look?" Applebloom said, looking around the whole room. "Well, I guess we can look for it in where it would most likely be?" Scootaloo suggested. The group scattered around the library and began their search. While examining the M section, Sweetie Belle knew that she could find something. She picked a certain book, it was very dusty and she couldn't read the title. She thought that maybe this was it. As she trotted away and began searching at the next aisle, she came across a large machine. Out of curiosity, she stepped closer to it, trying to figure out what it was. As she grew even more focused on it, she dropped the book. Sweetie shook her head as she saw a large mirror at the end of the machine. It was kinda creepy to have a random large and sparkly mirror in the middle of a library, so she thought it might not be just any mirror.... .....could it be.....a portal? No, Sweetie Belle shook her head again. Then she noticed that the mirror was connected to the machine. Following all the wires and tubes, she found a book. The mirror was connected to a book. But it wasn't just any book, it looked special. It had a mark on it. A mark of a sun. Sweetie was very confused. Why is the mirror connected to a book? Did it have a magical power in it? If it didn't, why is it even connected? As she tried to get answers for her own questions, she stepped closer...and closer.........and closer.................. "I found it! Yes! I found it!!! Applebloom! Sweetie Belle! I found the map!" Scootaloo exclaimed, trying not to be too loud. Picking up the map, she ran around the library, looking for her friends. "Applebloom? Sweetie Belle?" "You found it!?" Applebloom shouted, running towards Scootaloo. "Yeah! Now where's Sweetie?" Scootaloo said with a worried expression. The two of them scanned the aisles near them, no Sweetie Belle. They decided to split up. Scootaloo looked in one half, and Applebloom in the other. While searching, Scootaloo turned around thinking maybe Sweetie was trying to prank them. Walking backwards, she tripped on a book lying on the ground. "Ow!" She screamed. "I better watch it next time......that's part of my lessons......huh?" Scootaloo looked up and shook the dust off her body. "Sweetie Belle!" She shouted. But she didn't reply. She looked like she was focused on the large mirror in front of her. "Sweetie!" Scootaloo tried again. But there still wasn't an answer. She picked the book up and threw it at Sweetie to get her attention. But instead, it hit a large lever. "Oops...." The book on the other end of the machine suddenly started to sparkle. It shot lots of power to the mirror, causing it to shine and shimmer in many different ways. Scootaloo's eyes were opened so wide, she couldn't believe what just happened. Sweetie was so amazed, she decided to go even closer to the mirror. "No, Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo yelled as she rushed after her. Applebloom, not knowing what was going on, trotted in and said, "H-hey, what's going on?" But it was too late. The other two already went in. "W-wait!!" Applebloom ran inside, not knowing what else to do. Applebloom....... "Hngh....W-where.....?" Applebloom.............. "W-what......am I.......?" APPLEBLOOM!!!! "H-huh!?" Applebloom yelled. She was so dizzy, she could barely see. "Ugh, you're finally awake. We can't hide if you're lying there! C'mon!" Scootaloo said, trying to pull Applebloom up. "Wait....hide?" Applebloom said, still a bit dizzy. "Come on, I think someone's coming!" Sweetie Belle said, trying her best to levitate Applebloom. The two of them, along with Applebloom in the air, rushed to a nearby room they found on the map. "W-what's going on?" Applebloom said, nearly clearing her gaze. "Don't you remember? We were finding a good hiding spot?" Scootaloo whispered. "Oh yeah....ugh my head hurts.....what happened?" Applebloom whispered, finally able to see clearly. She looked around and noticed that they were inside an empty and dirty room. It looks like nopony's ever even been here. "Actually, my head hurts a little too. What do you think happened?" Scootaloo said, rubbing her forehead. "I think it's my fault." Sweetie said, lowering her head. "I saw.....a mirror. A big one. I think we all somehow....went in it." Scootaloo and Applebloom each shared a mix of worried and scared faces. "I'm sorry, I was so amazed at the mirror." Sweetie said, trying to force a smile. "Don't worry, it's not you're fault." Applebloom said, putting her hoof on Sweetie's shoulder. "Yeah, we've all made huge accidents in the past." Sweetie Belle beamed. At least they weren't mad. "So um, what do you think happened when we went inside the mirror?" Scootaloo asked, looking around. "I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure my big sis told me something about that big mirror." Applebloom said. "She told me that it teleported Twilight into another world! She even became another creature or something in that world. Everypony looked at each other. Does this mean they're in another world right now? "B-but, we don't look like we've changed a bit, have we?" Scootaloo said, in a worried tone. "Well, if it teleports ponies to different worlds, It doesn't necessarily mean the world Twilight visited, right?" Sweetie Belle suggested. Seeing that there's no use of hiding if they're in a different world, the trio left the room and followed the map to the front door. "Where do you think you're going?" The three of them froze as they heard a voice calling them from behind. "U-um...." Applebloom shook as she knew who that was. "You ain't gonna leave.....until we party till midnight!" Twilight danced on a messy table. She didn't even look like she was Twilight Sparkle. She had very messy hair, it wasn't brushed. Her personality looked like it changed from studious and responsible to crazy and carefree. "Huh!?" To Be Continued... //-------------------------------------------------------// The CMC Enters....Another World??? //-------------------------------------------------------// The CMC Enters....Another World??? The three fillies shared shocked looks, and looked back at Twilight. "U-um.....Twilight? Are you okay?" Applebloom asked in her concerned look. "Okay? What do you mean? My life's never been better! Woohoo!" Twilight danced in excitement on the table, causing to make more of a mess than there already is. "And I told you......to call me T!" The Cutie Mark Crusaders looked at each other again. This was not like Twilight at all. She would never leave her castle in a mess. And she never asked them to call her such a nickname as T. "Now, what brings you here to T's castle?" Twilight said, laying herself down in a folding beach chair while drinking punch. "Um.....we're not exactly sure......we need to go now though. Th-thanks!" Scootaloo said, pulling her two friends and rushed towards the exit. "That was.....weird. What happened to her?" Sweetie Belle said, looking back at the castle. The trio thought for a moment, and Applebloom finally thought of something. "I know! If Twilight doesn't look like she's can help us, I'm sure Zecora would!" she said, already running to the Everfree Forest. "W-wait for us!" Sweetie and Scootaloo said in sync as they quickly followed Applebloom. As they arrived at where Zecora's house is, they stopped to catch their breath. Scootaloo went ahead and knocked on her door, until she noticed there were no pots and potions around at all. "Um...Zecora!" She nervously yelled as she knocked on the door. Zecora opened the door, but the CMC were shocked. Again. Zecora's mane looked untidy, just like Twilight's. And instead of ancient and golden earings, bracelets, and neck rings, she wore sparkly silver earings, a lot more colorful bracelets, and had a normal necklace with a ruby on it. She also wore a greyish blackish whitish kind of party dress. "What brings you here to my party hut? This is one party I cannot shut!" Zecora rhymed, as always. "What do you mean, party hut?" Sweetie asked, confused and surprised. Zecora returned the confused face at them "Are you alright, Sweetie Belle? Did you forget that I party here, and don't have time for show-an-tell?" Applebloom and Sweetie were even more confused and scared, thinking what happened to their Ponyville friends. Scootaloo, however, didn't get a thing. "Say what now?" "B-b-but, Zecora! I thought you liked to make potions and brew and all that stuff?" Applebloom said, completely not hearing what Scootaloo just said. Zecora looked even more confused and calmed herself. "Is this a trick? For I've never thought of doing such magic." Scootaloo understood now, and looked very worried. "Wha-wai-huh-now-WHAT!?!" She said, trying to peek into Zecora's house. There were no pots, potions, brew, masks, or anything that she had before. It was crazily decorated in all sorts of banners, balloons, party food, and party clothes. She shook her head and said, "We......we've got to go now. Sorry we wasted your time." she said, quickly pulling the other two along with them as she exited the forest. "Can you not pull us by our tails like that ever again?" Sweetie Belle said, brushing her tail. "I'm sorry, I just couldn't help it. First Twilight, now Zecora?" "Actually, it's T." Applebloom rolled her eyes and chuckled. Scootaloo rollde her eyes too, knowing it was kind of fishy. "Maybe we did go to a different world." She looked up into the sky, wondering what could've happened to the rest of their friends. "You know what? Let's go check up on everypony. Then we'll decide if they're trying to teach us a lesson for running away, or we really did go into a different dimension." The three nodded and clapped their hooves togther. They each ran to different places. "Rainbow Dash!? Rainbow Daaaaaaash!?" Scootaloo called out under Rainbow's cloudy and large house. "Huh, maybe she's practicing for a Wonderbolt's show or something. Maybe I was just overreacting, how could we possibly enter a different world?" She said, starting to walk away. "Stop right there!" A raspy voice called from the cloud. Scootaloo turned around to see, but it suddenly got so bright. She could, however, see a figure in the middle of the source of the light. The figure dashed down, towards Scootaloo. The light slowly became dimmer, and faded away. The figure stood in front of Scootaloo, surprising her. "What're you doing here, Scootaloo?" The pegasus asked. "Um....you know my name?" she replied, not knowing who it was. "What do you mean? I've always known you and you've always known me." It said, pointing at Scootaloo whenever it mentioned her. Looking at her, she noticed who it was and made a huge gasp. "Rainbow Dash???" She said, tilting her head. She looked nothing like RD. Her mane was so tidy, it kind of looked identical to Twilight's hairstyle back in their world. "Are you okay? You're acting like we've never met." Scootaloo shook her head, now accepting the fact that they are in another world. "Oh, I'm fine! Just wanted to know what you were doing!" Rainbow raised an eyebrow at er and flew up to her home. "You're never really interested in trying to find out what I'm doing. Are you an impostor, perhaps?" Scootaloo's mouth fell open. Rainbow never talks all smarty-like. "N-no! I'm not an imposter, same old Scootaloo!" She gave off a nervous laugh. "I just.....wanted to learn how to fly from you and all that!" Rainbow listened carefully and finally stepped on the cloudy pathway to her house. She gave Scootaloo a very strict eye and said, "I already taught the real Scootaloo how to fly." Scootaloo's mouth fell wide open again. But a lot wider this time. The Scootaloo in this world already knew how to fly!? "U-um.....I meant flying tricks!" Scootaloo said, trying to sound convincing. Sighing, she said, "Okay, okay. I really am Scootaloo. Just not the Scootaloo you know in this world." Rainbow's eyebrow raised. She looked like she was getting interested. "Fine, fine. Come on up." Scootaloo beamed and tried to fly up, but she couldn't. Rainbow sighed and flew down to let her hop on her back. "Thanks." Sweetie Belle searched for the Carousel Boutiqe. She really wanted to know where her sister Rarity was. When Sweetie finally arrived at where it should be, she found Sweet Apple Acres instead. "Huh? Sweet Apple Acres isn't supposed to be here. I'll go inside and check anyway." She trotted to the front door and knocked on it. "Hello? Anypony home???" After a moment, the door opened. "Why, if it isn't my little sister Sweetie Belle! Come in, sugarcube!" Rarity said in a farm-like accent. Sweetie looked at her in confusion. She went in and head to the kitchen. She sat down at the table and examined the plate in front of her. "Today I made apple soup for you!" Rarity smiled at her and continued baking apple pies. "U-um.....Rarity? Why are we in Sweet Apple Acres? And what did you do to your hair? It looks so messy." Sweetie finally asked. Rarity turned around an raised her eyebrow. "What do ya mean? We've always lived here because ma and pa lived here. And my mane looks like how it's always looked like!" Sweetie thought about what she said and what's going on while eating her soup. It's true. They did go to a different world. Maybe in this world, everypony had an opposite personality. "So......am I gonna do chores?" Sweetie asked after she gulped down the last of her apple soup. Rarity paused for a minute and turned her head over to Sweetie. "Are you alright, Sweetie Belle? Are you sick or somethin'? It's like you don't remember anythin' at all. Of course you do yer chores! You've always done your chores even without askin' me." "Oh, well, I'm fine. Just making sure today." Sweetie trotted outside to her room to check if she had a checklist for chores. Applebloom trotted towards the place where Sweet Apple Acres should be. But instead, she found the Carousel Boutique. She tilted her head. "Why is the boutique here?" She said as she looked around to see if she was in the wrong place. But she wasn't, her surroundings were the same. She trotted in and opened the door and heard the bell ring. Applejack came rushing down and saw Applebloom. "Why, welcome back Applebloom!" She said in an accent like her Aunt Orange's. "Come on in!" Applebloom stepped inside and looked around. The place looked exactly like the Carousel Boutique, but Rarity's blue diamond signature changed into red rubies shaped into apples, just like Applejack's cutie mark. Applebloom followed Applejack into her bedroom, which was supposed to be Rarity's. Applebloom took a look at Applejack. She looked very different. Her hair was curled and kept tidy. She looked like she hasn't planted a tree or bucked any apples. "Just like Twilight and Zecora....." Applebloom thought out loud. "What was that, darling?" AJ said as she sewed two pieces of fabric together. "Well, why are we living here? In the Carousel Boutique? Where's Big Mac and Granny Smith? Why's your hair so clean?" Applebloom blurted out. Applejack looked at her sister worriedly. "We've always lived here. Big Mac's out buying fabric and Granny Smith is asleep." She said. "And my mane's always been clean! It'd be a disaster if it looks messy. Why, was it dirty before?" Applebloom slowly backed away. "Um, no! It looked great yesterday! I'm just gonna.....um.....go to my room!" She rushed to Sweetie Belle's-actually, her room, and shut the door. "It's true.....we're in a different dimension! What am I gonna do!?" Applebloom wiped her sweat off and trotted towards the window. The town looked the same. But looking closely, everypony was acting different. She climbed out the window, forgetting she could'be used the front door, climbed onto the tree and jumped down. "I'm gonna go check Sugarcube Corner." She said as she started running. "So let me get this straight....you and your friends were in T's castle and accidentally entered a portal?" Rainbow Dash said, recapping Scootaloo's story. "Yup!" Scootaloo beamed. Rainbow sighed and thought about it for a moment. This was not a story you hear everyday. "But I don't remember seeing a portal or a magical mirror in T's library. You must be mistaken." Rainbow said, slamming the book she was holding and put it in a very large bookshelf. "I'm not lying!" Scootaloo yelled. "It's all true! Back in my world, you're all carefree and cool! I mean, you are cool, but I meant.....you made sonic rainbooms, you were the fastest pony in Equestria, you were even a Wonderbolt!" Rainbow's eyes widened. She never thought that an other dimension Rainbow Dash would be the exact opposite of her. "Alright, fine. We'll go over there right now and then I'll believe you." She said. "YES!!" Scootaloo jumped around the room. The two of them finally arrived at the front of Twili.................T's castle. Rainbow Dash knocked on the door and waited for Twilight to come. The door finally opened. "Hey there, RD! What brings you down with little ol' Scootafling?" Twilight asked. Rainbow explained everything to Twilight after they went in. "Hold on, rewind. My brain didn't get nothing from your story." Twilight took a sip from her apple cider. Rainbow sighed and said very slowly, "Scootaloo said that she and her friends accidentally went inside a large magical mirror in your library. It made them teleport into our world." Twilight looked at Scootaoo, then at Rainbow. "I've never had a big mirror thingy in my library. At least, I don't remember that I do." Rainbow glared at Scootaloo, who was nervously laughing. "Well, I'll show you!" she said, running to the library. Rainbow and Twilight followed her. "Here we are!" Scootaloo shouted proudly as she presented the mirror to them. Twilight had a shocked face. "I don't remember this thingamajig!" Rainbow had a surprised face. She stepped forward and examined the mirror. "I think.....I think that this appeared because you entered through here in your world!" Rainbow turned her head towards Scootaloo. There was a small silence. "Say what?" Twilight said, not understanding anything. Just then, A yellow pegasus wearing a baseball cap dashed in. "Come on, T! The stereo is all set up and we're ready for ghost stories! What's taking you so long?" She pouted. "Sorry, Flutters, These two came and showed me this weird mirror I've never seen in my whole entire life." Twilight said, walking towards the so called 'Flutters' "Wait, Fluttershy?" Scootaloo said with a very amazed yet surprised look. "Is that you? You look so different!" "Well, I don't know how Fluttershy acts or looks like in your world, but this is how she looks in our world." Rainbow said, pointing at Fluttershy. "Woah, woah, woah, woah, WOAH!!! Other world? Cool! How am I like in your world?" Fluttershy said, flying towards Scootaloo. "Well, first off, you don't wear that cap." Scootaloo replied, pointing at her white baseball cap. "And, you're very shy and you love animals. You're very kind and caring and you're always there for your friends!" Fluttershy stuck out her tongue in disgust. "Blech, that sounds nothin' like me!" She said. "Also, I told you, and you!" Fluttershy pointed at both Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash. "Call me Flutters!" Twilight looked at the clock, even though she didn't read it at all. "Come on, Flutters. I don't want to waste another minute! I wanna tell my legend of The Headless Horse!" Twilight said, stomping her hoof. "Aw, you've told that story to me, Spike, and Rares already!" Fluttershy pouted again. "Fine, I'll tell a new story! The Tale of Slenderpony!" Twilight yelled. "Wait, Rares?" Scootaloo tilted her head. "They mean Rarity. I think she's joining them today. Oh yeah, and Spike too." Rainbow explained. Fluttershy looked at Twilight and they nodded at each other. "Well, since we wasted our precious time just to see that...." Fluttershy said, pointing at the mirror. "You two have to join us!" Twilight shouted, pulling both of them. "Great. Thanks a lot, Scootaloo." Rainbow facehoofed. "Phew! That's the last of them!" Sweetie Belle sighed, wiping her tears off. She left the chicken coop to wash her hooves and then she went to town. "Rarity said she was going to T's party to go see Spike.....does that mean she went to Twilight's castle?" She said, trotting to the castle. When she finally arrived, she knocked on the door. "Hello!? Rarity? Spike?? Twilight??? Is anypony here!?" Sweetie shouted. A tall purple and green dragon came and opened the door. Rarity was behind it, but she looked mesmerized. "Yes, Sweetie Belle?" It said. It kind of sounded like....no, Spike was a baby dragon. Plus, this dragon's voice was a lot deeper. "Um, I wanna join the party." Sweetie blurted out. As soon as she found out what she said, she shrugged it off. There was nothing else to do. "Well, okay." It said, clearing the way. "Oh, Spikey Wikey, you're so dreamy!" Rarity said, giggling. The dragon turned his head to look at Rarity. "Oh, I know, I know....." she said, frowning a little. "Remember what I told you, Rares." Spike said, leading Sweetie to the throne room where the party took place. "You don't want to be involved with a dragon like me. A dragon like me...." he stopped and flipped his spikes that looked like bangs. ".....with great spikes." This caused Rarity to sigh even more. Sweetie Belle giggled quietly. "We're back." Spike said, opening the door. "About time!" Fluttershy pouted. "Come on, I'm gonna tell my ghost story now!" Twilight said. "What're you doing here?" Sweetie Belle asked Scootaloo. "What're you doing here?" Scootaloo asked Sweetie Belle. "What's she doing her?" Rarity asked Twilight, pointing at Rainbow Dash. "What am I still doing here!?!" Rainbow yelled furiously. "Calm down, ponies! Chill!" Twilight shouted out even louder than Rainbow. "Can we just start, please!?!" Everypony sat on their seats and Sweetie and Scootaloo sat on two cushions Spike gave them. "Alright, me first!" Fluttershy said. "It's called, The Legend of The Everfree!" Fluttershy began to tell the story in a spooky voice, causing Sweetie and Scootaloo to get a little scared. Rainbow just listened with a straight and bored face. Twilight smiled, enjoying the story. Rarity got a little scared, but when she did, she'd just look at Spike and smile. Spike listened with a cool and straight face. The night went on, and each and every pony told different spooky ghost stories. "Pinkie Pie!?" Applebloom called out. "Are you here!?" The Sugarcube Corner was crowded with all kinds of ponies. Maybe there was a sale. Applebloom ringed the bell on the counter and waited for somepony to come. Seconds later, Pinkie came out of the kitchen. She didn't look like Pinkie though, her hair was very straight and her face looks bored. She's not smiling at all. "Can I help you?" Pinkie asked with a low pitch. "Um, can I have a cupcake? Any kind will be fine." Applebloom said. Pinkie grabbed a cupcake out of a display case and put it on the counter. "That'd be 5 bits." She said. Applebloom put 5 bits on the counter and started eating. "Hey, Pinkie? What's wrong? Did something happen?" Applebloom asked worriedly. "Nothing happened. Now scram, I'm busy." Pinkie turned around and head to the kitchen. Applebloom took another bit and wondered, "So is that Pinkie in this world? A gloomy unfriendly pink pony?" "I heard that." Pinkie said, poking her head out of the kitchen doors. She went back inside and baked what it smelled like cookies. "Um, sorry." Applebloom apologized. She entered in the kitchen without permission to see what was going on. The kitchen looked a little messy and there were a lot more sweets and treats in store than in the other world. Pinkie set a cookie tray on a table and noticed Applebloom. "Hey, I told you to leave!" Pinkie angrily screamed. "I'm sorry, I'm from another world! I wanted to see how it looks here." She hastily said. Pinkie turned around and mumbled, "As if." "Sheesh." Applebloom said, walking out of the kitchen. "I guess I should go find the others." She left Sugarcube corner and began her search for her friends. To be continued... //-------------------------------------------------------// Brand New Path //-------------------------------------------------------// Brand New Path "'ello? Anypony home!?" Applebloom knocked on Twilight's, or should I say T's, castle doors loudly. She knocked again and again, it was getting really dark, it suddenly started raining, and she didn't know what would happen in this world. Soon, the door was opened by a yellow pegasus. "What is it, Applebloom?" She asked. "F-Fluttershy???" Applebloom asked, just as surprised as Scootaloo. Fluttershy rolled her eyes. "It's Flutters. Are you stickn' with the same 'story' as Scoots and Sweetie?" Appleboom nodded weakly, and Fluttershy let her in. Fluttershy led her to the throne room, soon reuniting with the other Crusaders. She sat next to them and listened to what happened next. "Where's mah big sis?" Applebloom whispered to her friends, looking around the room. "I don't know, maybe she couldn't make it." Sweetie Belle whispered back. Twilight slammed her hoof on the table. "Quiet, you three!" "I didn't say anything." Scootaloo mumbled. Twilight turned over to Rainbow. "Your turn, Dash!" Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Those stories were barely scary. Fine, I'll tell a story. In return, I'll stay longer to examine that portal in your library." Twilight pouted and sat down. "Fine! Bring it!" Rainbow sighed and signaled Spike to turn off the lights. She grabbed a flashlight, turned it on, and pointed it towards her face. "Alright, my story is called, The Tale of Yandere Pony." For some reason, the sound of that wasn't good. The three Crusaders were a little scared this time. Twilight and Fluttershy tried to hide their fear by smirking, but suddenly, a lightning stroke right outside the window, causing the atmosphere to get scarier. Rares showed a lot more fear, and held onto Spike's claw. Spike didn't look scared at all, he looked like a statue. "You may not have heard this story before, but an old friend of mine told me this," Rainbow whispered creepily and widened her eyes. "Never go near a yandere." Everypony looked around in confusion. "What's a yandada?" Twilight asked, breaking the uncomfortable air. Rainbow grunted. "Yandere, not yandada. It's a pony who's madly in love with somepony, willing to kill those who have a crush on him other than herself." Everypony looked much more scared after she explained it. If only they had known before. "Now, Yandere Pony used to go to a highschool. She had a crush, called a Senpai, there." Rainbow continued. "Info Pony, an anonymous whom nopony knows her face, helps Yandere Pony for unknown reasons. She helps her by sending letters, giving off information about everypony around her. Yandere Pony started killing everypony who loved her Senpai, one by one." The story sent a chill down Scootaloo's spine. "M-maybe we should leave....." The other two nodded in agreement. They sneakily left the library, hoping nopony would mind. Twilight saw them, however, and followed after them. "Phew, I'm glad that's over. Dash's story was scarier than all the others'." Sweetie Belle said as soon as they got out. Scootaloo nodded. "Even scarier than her old story, The Legend Of The Headless Horse." Their small talk was interrupted by a voice from behind. "I know, right? Can't believe it." Twilight said. "OH! U-um....h-hey, Twi-I mean, T." Applebloom nervously said. "What're you doing here?" "This is mah castle." She reminded them. "Right." The CMC said in sync. "Well, where're you going?" Twilight asked. The three of them were shocked. By now, Twilight would've been at least worried. But that was in their world, not here. "Nothing, we're just going to go home." Applebloom hastily replied. "What about you?" Twilight said, pointing at Rares. Sweetie Belle froze. Of course, Rarity was in there. "I-I can do fine on my own until she comes back." Sweetie said, starting to trot towards the end of the hallway. "Well, see ya!" Twilight saluted and rushed back to the throne room. The three were relieved and said goodbye to each other. They went home in separate ways, running to avoid the rain. "I'm home!" Applebloom said, shaking the rain off of her body and slammed the door shut. She rubbed her hooves on the rug, written "WELCOME!" on it. She kind of missed the "Home Sweet Home" rug in Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack was standing next to the pedestal, using Winona as a model for her "Fashionably Pup" line for dogs. "Welcome home, darling!" She said as she stitched a bow unto the back of the dress. "Hey, sis." Applebloom greeted. "You must be wet from all the rain." Applejack said, scanning the remaining water all over her. "Maybe you should take a nice warm bath." Applebloom nodded and trotted upstairs. She couldn't think of anything to say, Applejack doesn't usually care about those kind of stuff. But it was nice of her to think that way. She entered the bathroom and readied the bathtub. One bubbly bath later, Applebloom went to her room, wiping her hair with a yellow towel. Looking closely to it, her new towel is not just yellow, it had an elegant design on it. She shrugged it off, even though she was thinking it was nice to have a little design. She sat at the vanity desk and looked around for a minute. Come to think of it, everything looked prettier. Her bed had a little more design to it compared to the one she had back in the other world. Her closet looked bigger, the floor was a carpet and it was very comfortable, in case you fall. The walls were light blue and had a red design on it. With apples as a design in almost everything, of course. Applebloom put her arms over her head and noticed something was missing. She turned around and looked at herself in the mirror and figured it out: She wasn't wearing her special bow. She got up and opened the closet. There was a whole lot of clothes. Looking down, she noticed there were a bunch of bows on the bottom of the closet. She smiled and picked one up. As she closed the closet, Applebloom saw the little, tiny pattern on it. It wasn't plain reddish-pinkish anymore. It had a small elegant design similar to the one on her towel, it had apples printed on it, too. She giggled and put the bow on. "Applebloom!" AJ called from downstairs. "I made dinner for you!" Applebloom grinned and ran downstairs thinking what kind of food her sister will feed her. She entered the kitchen and saw Big Mac and Granny Smith sitting at the dining table. "Had a good bath, sweetie?" Applejack asked while placing a plate on the table. Applebloom nodded with glee and sat at the table as well. Applebloom smelled the delicious aroma of the food. It smelled really good, yet classy. It was a good mix! "Today I made some turkey." Applejack said, sitting down. The turkey looked well prepared, complete with rice and some herbs around it. They all started eating, especially Applebloom, who is happily enjoying her first-time classy yet delicious dinner. Sweetie Belle opened the door and looked around if Rarity was home. But of if she was, she would've passed by her, so Sweetie slowly locked the door and rubbed her hooves on the rug. But then, a sound was coming from somewhere... rattle rattle Sweetie paused and didn't say a word. She looked around and slowly walked towards the source of the sound, being careful not to make any sudden moves or a sound. rattle rattle There it was again. Yet even louder than last time. It sounded like it came from the kitchen. Sweetie Belle hid behind the wall and peeked into the room. She didn't see anypony. Her sight was blocked by the plant next to the door. She gulped and put on a brave face. Sweetie walked in and examined the room. Nothing was slightly different. She turned around and noticed the vase moving. rattle rattle The sound was definitely coming from the vase. Sweetie started sweating as she stepped closer to the vase. The vase was starting to move more intensely, maybe it knew somepony was here. Sweetie raised her hoof, attempting to lightly touch the vase and set it back to its normal position. The hoof was coming so close to the vase, until.... "Opal!? Where are you!? Did you lock yourself in the closet again!?!" A farm-like yet high pitch voice came from the hallway. "Oh, hey there, sugarcube. Have you seen-" She cut her sentence as soon as she knew what was going on. She giggled and carried the vase. "Opalescense, did you get stuck inside the vase again?" Rarity asked, turning the vase upside-down so Opal could crawl or at least jump out. The cat nodded. Rarity giggled once again as she put the vase down and petted Opal. "Well, that was weird. Why are you home so early?" Sweetie asked. "Well, Spike said he was going to go to Canterlot for some official important business or something, and all I ever went there for was to see hi-I mean, let me prepare you some dinner!" Rarity quickly said, rushing to the kitchen. Sweetie giggled and went up to her room. She looked around and admired the simpleness. Not too elegant. It was fine for her. She closed the door lightly and sat at her study desk. Sweetie decided to be a good student and finish up her homework. After just a few minutes, she placed her homework in her saddle bag and jumped onto her bed. "Hah, not as comfy as back in Carousel Boutique, but suits me just fine!" She said, rolling around the bed like a dog rolling around in the dirt. She giggled, knowing the other Rarity wouldn't let her make such a mess as she got up and did such a big mess while being caught up in having fun. "Sweetie Belle, dinner's ready!" Rarity called from outside Sweetie's door. "Okay, I'm coming down in a second!" She replied. She then heard the sounds of Rarity's hoofsteps(which are a bit louder here), slowly going away. Sweetie looked around at her mess and thought of a way to clean it. "Nah, I don't think Rarity would mind." Sweetie shrugged and got up. "I'll just clean up afterwards. I'm hungry!" She rushed downstairs, not wanting to be fed leftovers. "I made some apple soup for you!" Rarity placed a large pot of apple soup on the middle of the table and two medium-sized bowls on each side. "Help yourself!" Sweetie's grin widened. Rarity would always tell her to "Don't eat too much, or you'll gain lots of weight!" She poured some soup into her bowl and took a sip. It tasted...really good! She started eating a lot. Sweetie always got tired of fancy food, and was happy that she could get to eat some simple, and down-to-earth food. Rarity smiled and ate as much as she could, too. Scootaloo trotted towards Rainbow's house, trying to see if she came home yet or not. "Rainbow Dash! Are you here?? Please answer me if you are!" She yelled. But there was no reply. Plus, it didn't look like anypony was home. Scootaloo frowned but suddenly remembered that Rainbow actually stayed at the castle to examine the mirror. She ran to the castle, she didn't care if it was raining, she just wanted to see her and get a place to stay. "Phew, finally. He-" Scootaloo was interrupted when the door swung open by Rainbow. "I had a feeling you'd come." Rainbow pulled her in and slammed the door. Scootaloo shook off the remaining rain on her body and followed Rainbow. "So, did you find anything about the mirror?" "Not yet." Rainbow said. "Well, not exactly, actually. All that I figured out is that that book with a sun has a magical energy, or a power, and it shares that to the mirror for it to work." "Oh." Scootaloo frowned. She didn't know how to make that of use. "The mirror only appeared here because you guys came. But you guys should decide if you want to stay or not." Rainbow explained. "If you do, I'll let you stay with me." Scootaloo beamed. "Really!!?" "Fine by me. Besides, you don't wanna stay in this castle. I had a sleepover here once. Don't ask what happened." Scootaloo didn't know what Rainbow meant by that, but shrugged it off and followed her. "Here we are." Rainbow said as she opened the front door to her house. Scootaloo looked around, it was the same as the other Rainbow Dash's house, but it had a lot more books. "Trust me, Scootaloo. There isn't much to look at. Just books. If you want, there are storybooks." Scootaloo nodded and scanned a nearby bookshelf. "What's Narnia: The Manticore, The Unicorn, And The Closet?" Scootaloo read out loud. "It's a fantasy." Rainbow said, trotting towards the book. Scootaloo tilted her head. "A fantasy. A magical world-themed book." Scootaloo took one quick look at the cover and brought it to a spare room Rainbow didn't use. It looked like a guest room. As soon as Scootaloo hopped on the bed, she got comfortable and started reading in amazement. It was actually an interesting book. "Scootaloo, do you want some-" Rainbow's stopped talking as soon as she entered the room. Scootaloo had fallen asleep. She was hugging the book tightly. Rainbow made a half-smile, which was unusual for this Rainbow Dash. She took the book off of Scootaloo's hooves and placed it on the end table next to the bed. Rainbow slowly trotted out, closing the door. She left it a little open, just in case. Then she wondered what she was gonna do to all her Rainbow Dash Pie leftovers. Applebloom yawned as she sat up on her bed. She looked up at the clock and noticed it was 6:00 AM. She got up and tidied her bed, wondering what kind of chores Applejack would make her do. She yawned once again and ran downstairs. She jumped onto the dining table's chair and waited to see if Applejack would come and give her breakfast, or if she had to do it on her own. Just then, Applejack came trotting in and noticed Applebloom. "Why, look who's an early bird!" Applejack smiled and took the plate on the kitchen counter, placing it right in front of Applebloom. "Well, do I not usually wake up at this time?" Applebloo asked, taking a bite of her breakfast, homemade pancakes. "No, you usually wake up any time you want. But not this early. Is something wrong, dear?" Applejack asked, worriedly. Applebloom hesitated, but quickly said, "N-no, I'm fine! Just wanted to wake up early to get my chores done earlier for more play time! That's all." Applejack raised an eyebrow. "You don't have any chores." Applebloom stopped, almost dropping her fork. "W-what?" "You don't have any chores." Applejack repeated with an even more worried look. "I heard you the first time, but..." Applebloom thought for a moment. Applejack in her world would make her do a whole bunch of chores. But here, none at all!?! "Nevermind, what I meant to say was I wanted to have more play time." Applejack was a little worried, but sighed and smiled. "Well, if you say so, darling. If you need anything, simply just ask me!" She trotted out of the kitchen, leaving Applebloom be. "No chores, huh?" She said, grinning. After she finished her breakfast, she rested for a while to let the food go down, and she went outside to play and do whatever she wanted by her own free will. "Mornin', sun." Sweetie Belle said as she stretched all of her hooves. She hopped out of bed and looked out the window. It was a bright and sunny day. "Time for chores, I guess." She frowned and made her way over downstairs. "Good mornin', sugarcube!" Rarity greeted. Sweetie sat at the table where her plate was. It was an omelette, with herbs on the side. There was also a bowl filled with apples in the middle of the table. "Eat all you can!" Rarity grinned as she washed her own plate. Sweetie's grin was even wider as she started eating. "So, what're my chores?" Sweetie asked, still chewing. Rarity hesitated, but continued washing her dish. "You never have any chores, what're you talkn' about?" Sweetie froze and shook her head. "Nevermind." Rarity shrugged it off and dried her hooves with a towel. "If you need anything, just tell your ol' sis Rarity!" She said as she trotted outside to plow he field. "I don't get any chores?" Sweetie asked herself. "I.......don't have any......chores?" She asked herself, but smiling this time. She put on a challenging smirk and drank her water. "Today'll be fun." She said as she rushed outside. Sweetie took a while to admire the refreshing breeze, and jumped up and about. "What to do?" Sweetie asked a nearby bird. The bird tweeted happily, and Sweetie hummed along. She giggled and ran towards the town. Sweetie stepped in front Rainbow's house and shouted, "Hey, anypony home!?" Scootaloo rubbed her eyes as she awoke from her long sleep. "Ugh, w-what.....? Where am I?" She sat straight up and remembered, she fell asleep in Rainbow's guest room. She flapped her wings a little, causing her to fly but only got merely and inch off of the bed for a few seconds. She did it again to hop off the bed and trotted outside of the room. "Morning." Rainbow Dash greeted. "I have leftover Rainbow Dash Pie if you want. Or just eat your bacon and eggs. Whatever you want." Scootaloo gave a small smile and sat at the table. "I'll just eat the pie later. I want bacon and eggs!" Scootaloo exclaimed. "Well, here you go." Rainbow said, placing the plate of bacon and eggs in front of Scootaloo. "Eat up before it gets cold, we're up on the clouds after all." Scootaloo started chowing down, not wanting it to get cold. "Hey, did you hear something? Or somepony?" Scootaloo asked as she heard a tiny sound from outside. "I'll go check. Stay put." Rainbow said, trotting out. "Hello!?!" Sweetie Belle shouted from the ground. "Oh, thank goodness! I thought nopony was home and I was standing here for 5 minutes already!" Rainbow flew down and gave Sweetie Belle a book. "Here, read the first passage on page 25." Sweetie looked confused, but opened it anyways. "Cloud Walking?" Sweetie read out loud. "Oooooooh, I get it." She cast the spell by following instructions and suddenly felt a very calming power. Rainbow leaned down to let Sweetie Belle hop on. Rainbow flew up high and stood outside her home. Sweetie gulped and hopped off. It worked! She was standing on the clouds, it felt very, very soft. It felt like cotton! "Haha, you did it." Rainbow said, impressed. "Why don't you come in and cast some other spells? I'm not a unicorn so I'd love to see the things I read actually happen." Sweetie Belle quickly nodded happily. "Hey, Scootaloo, Sweetie's here." Rainbow said. "Oh, hey, Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo grinned, taking another book from the shelf. "Mind if I read some Harry Trotter? I heard it's good." Rainbow nodded lightly and Scootaloo beamed as she ran to the guest room. "So, what're we gonna do first?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Well, I'm not quite sure, maybe you should chose first." Rainbow replied. Sweetie grinned and happily looked for a book to pick. And for the whole evening, Sweetie Belle helped Rainbow study. Zap! Pow! Bam! .........were the sounds of every spell cast on that day. Sweetie blew on her smoking horn and wiped off her sweat. "I had fun, I learned lots of spells!" Rainbow made a small grin. "I'm gad you liked it." She flew over to the fridge and drank a small can of soda. Sweetie looked out of the window and noticed that the sun was almost down. "Oh no, it's sunset already!? I gotta get home!" She yelled, panicking while pacing back and forth. "Don't worry, you can get there if you teleport a little." Rainbow said. "You can come back anytime you want." "Thanks!" Sweetie Belle gave Rainbow a warm hug and ran back home, leaving a very fast trail. Applebloom sighed and knocked on the door. Has it been that late already? It felt like only an hour has passed. "Applejack!? Are you home??? Sis!" She said as she knocked even louder. Applejack opened the door to see the little tired yellow filly. "Why, hello, darling! Back so soon?" She curiously asked as she cleared the way. "What do you mean?" She trotted her way inside and sat next to the pedestal. "You're usually home later than this." Applejack answered worriedly as she trotted next to Applebloom and continued making a gorgeous outfit. "Are you sure you're okay? You're not sick?" Applebloom was a little irritated, but understood that Applejack was concerned. "I'm fine." She said. "This is kinda weird. Does that mean the Applebloom here has her own free will to do anything?" Applebloom mumbled to herself as she trotted upstairs to her bedroom. She sat on her bed and made herself comfortable. She fell into deep thought as she wondered what her friends were up to. After a while, she began to drift off to sleep..... "Hey, Applebloom!" Scootaloo shouted, attempting to wake her up. Applebloom shrieked and sat up immediately, causing Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo to laugh. "Hey, easy there." Sweetie teased. "World's not ending yet." The three of them laughed for a while and started talking again. They all went downstairs continued talking while Applebloom ate her breakfast. Afterwards, they returned to her room. "This is nice. I mean, we get to do anything we want!" Scootaloo sighed, jumping on Applebloom's bed. "I know, right?" Sweetie said, rolling over on the carpet. "This carpet feels as soft as ever!" Applebloom sat down on her vanity desk and looked at Sweetie Belle in confusion. "You mean, the carpet is the same as yours?" "Well, yeah, but Rarity wouldn't let me roll or even lie down on it." Sweetie frowned and continued rolling. "You mean Rares?" Scootaloo added. The three of them burst into laughter. When the sun set, the three huddled next to each other on the bed. "Thanks for letting us sleep over." Sweetie said. "I think it's too dark outside to leave on our own." "Yeah, but I think this world's Cutie Mark Crusaders could." Scootaloo said. Sweetie and Applebloom glanced at each other. "What do you mean?" Applebloom asked first. "Well, I mean, they sound like they were doing as much fun as they wanted on their own free will." Scootaloo explained. Sweetie nodded. "I get you." Applebloom smiled and made herself more comfortable. "I think it feels nice." The other two nodded and said, "Mmhmm!" After a few hours, they finally fell asleep after all the chatting. When the morning sunshine shone on the room, Scootaloo made a large yawn and rubbed her eyes. "H-hey, you two. G'morning....." She rolled off the bed and crawled to the door. She turned her head around. "Hey, guys." Applebloom and Sweetie Belle finally woke up. "Oh, mornin'." Applebloom stretched her arms and hopped off of her bed. "W-wait, it's morning already?" Sweetie said, trying to get a glimpse of the time on the clock. "I think we were awake until 12." Applebloom's eyes were wide open. "Wait, 12!? There's no way." "I mean, sure, I'd love to stay awake until then, but Applejack didn't check up on us to see if we were asleep!?!" Scootaloo asked. Sweetie shook her head. "I'd definitely remember if she did." Applebloom grinned. "Well, that proves that we are moving freely here." The three giggled and jumped in happiness. Afterwards, the other two said goodbye to Applebloom as they went home and play. To be continued... Author's Note Okay....so it kinda took me a while to finish this, I'll admit :twilightsheepish: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsheepish.png But only because I was still planning if I would insert the ending here or on the next chapter. But I figured that I'd name the last chapter differently so I'm just gonna post the last chapter soon :pinkiehappy: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/pinkiehappy.png Also, I thought this chapter would become too long if I did end it here. :rainbowlaugh: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/rainbowlaugh.png //-------------------------------------------------------// Back To How It's Supposed To Be //-------------------------------------------------------// Back To How It's Supposed To Be "I'm back!" Applebloom shouted as she opened the door and looked around. "Sis!? You home?" She shouted. After a few minutes, a big red stallion came down the stairs. He was wearing a black and white tuxedo that looked quite fancy. Applebloom tilted her head. "Is that you, Big Mac?" She asked, confused. "Why, of course it's me." He said. "Are you okay? I mean, I've always looked like this. And you see me everyday. Are you sick?" Big Mac surprisingly rambled on and on, talking so much more than before. As Applebloom was sneaking past him, she bumped into somepony. She looked up and saw the one and only Granny Smith. "Oh, sorry, Granny!" She politely apologized. Big Mac finally stopped talking and turned around to join the conversation. "Granny, you're up!" He said, trotting up to Granny. "You're up earlier than usual. Are you okay? You and Applebloom seem to be in the same situation." Big Mac kept talking and talking, until Granny Smith raised her hoof, signalling him to stop. "Nope." She said. "I see." Big Mac looked at both of them square in the eyes and then trotted up the stairs. "Well, if you two are sure, I'm gonna go take a short bath. If you need anything, my door's always open! So to speak." Granny nodded and gave him a pleasant smile. She turned her head and looked at Applebloom. She grinned and walked upstairs. Applebloom watched as she left and stepped outside. "Gee, those two have definitely changed." She mumbled to herself and giggled. As she was about to leave, Applebloom noticed her two friends running towards her. "Hey, Applebloom!" Scootaloo greeted. "Mind if we stay over again?" "Sure, come on in!" Applebloom trotted back to the door and opened it for them. "So, what did ya'll come here for?" She asked, closing the door after they came in. "Oh, nothing really." Sweetie Belle said. "We just got bored off our flanks and decided to come here." "Well, in that case, let's just play a board game." Applebloom said, rushing to her room and coming down immediately. "Let's play Escape, The Curse Of The Castle!" She lifted up a box and shook it a little. There were sounds of little pieces in it. "My sis gave it to me yesterday." She set it in on the rug and sat next to her friends. "Aw, shoot! I got cursed! Now I'm mute!" Scootaloo screamed. Afterwards, she made sure she didn't talk until she broke the curse. Just then, the front door swung open, and an orange mare came in. "Oh, excuse me!" Applejack winked to the three and quietly closed the door. She quickly trotted to the kitchen and washed her hooves. After a few seconds, she came out, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders were already done with their game. "Well, that was quick! I turned around for a few seconds and you little cuties already finished your game!" Applejack applauded them. "Thanks!" Sweetie Belle beamed. "I've got good news, by the way!" Applejack said as she trotted over to help them clean up the game. "I got a letter from Countess Coloratura! And guess what, she asked me to design all her outfits for her next tour! Isn't that simply wonderful?" "Wow, sis! Congrats!" Applebloom hugged her sister until a question popped into her head. "But, how long will you be gone?" She asked worriedly, letting go of Applejack. "Well, the tour starts today, it'll take me a while to make her outfit, plus the outfits for the background dancers, then she'll tell me how to improve them, and......" Applejack trailed off, trying to calculate how long she'll be gone. "It'll take about..........2 months!" "2 months!?" Applebloom blurted out loudly. "B-but......how!?" "Well, we'll be touring all the towns in the East." Applejack explained. "That'll take a long time, meaning I'll have to make lots of outfits and so little time! Big Mac's coming along with me, and Granny Smith will look after you. I better start packing!" She darted upstairs before anypony said anything. "Boy, are you lucky." Scootaloo said. "You get to do anything you want! You can slouch on chairs, jump on the bed, eat as much as candy as you want......" "Wait, aren't we already doing that?" Sweetie Belle asked. "I mean, I'm getting kind of full myself, I've been eating sweets all day!" "She's got a point." Applebloom frowned. A silence fell into the room. And not the good one. Sweetie Belle cleared her throat and decided to speak. "Well, look at the bright side! There's no point in looking down on everything. You should have fun instead!" She suggested. Everypony beamed. Scootaloo put her hoof on Applebloom's shoulder and gave her a caring smile. After a while, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle said their goodbyes and went home for the day. "I'm home...." Sweetie Belle trailed off as she opened the front door. She was so tired her vision was barely clear. She slowly shut the door and dropped er saddlebag. "Rarity? Hey, Rarity!? Are you home or not??" She yelled a little louder as she lazily trotted to the hallway. She looked around, but nopony was there. Immediately, a light gray pony wearing a jumpsuit fell down the stairs. Sweetie Belle shook her head to wake herself and ran to the mare. "Sis, are you okay!?!" She yelled, shaking her sister who is currently rolling around the floor, as if she was in bed. She continuously moaned and groaned until she finally sat up. "Alright, alright, youngin'!" She screamed, rubbing her eyes. She fell back on the floor to rest a little bit more and got up. "I'm up. Is somethin' wrong? Did a vampire fruit bat get in your room? Did a manticore chase you into the barn?" She paused and gave Sweetie a concerned face. "Did Opal get stuck in the toilet???" "N-no, it's not that-" Sweetie stammered, but got cut off by Rarity. "WHAT!?! You mean something even WORSE happened to you!?!??" She yelled, almost making Sweetie fall down. "NO! It's not that bad!!!" Sweetie jumped from anger and took a deep breath once she landed on her hooves. "Look, I just came home." She explained. "You sent me a letter while I was Applebloom's saying tat you have important news and I had to come home immediately. What did you want to tell me?" "Oh yeah.....that." Rarity said, remembering that she actually did send a letter. "Well, you see, Braeburn invited me over to practice some more buckball. I'll be away for.......about five months." She said as she trotted up the stairs and hummed a song, Sweetie recognized the song as "Winter Wrap Up". "A-a month!?!" Sweetie exclaimed. "Why can't I come with you then???" She said, following her sister up the stairs. Rarity sighed. "Look, we're gonna do lots o' practice, including me helping out in a couple of things. If you came along, you'd be as bored as a pig in the middle of a deserted field!" She said, trotting to her room's door. "Okay.....I understand." Sweetie sighed, walking to her bedroom. Scootaloo fell as she was about to bang on the door, but Rainbow Dash opened the door from the other side. "Oh, hey, kid." She welcomed Scootaloo inside and cleared the way. "Sorry for the mess, I've been trying an old book I read all day." "It's fine." Scootaloo assured her. "Anyways, what book are you looking for? And why is it so important?" She blurted out a bunch of questions and stopped herself from asking anymore questions. "Nothing really. It was just one of my favorite books when I was young." Rainbow explained, scanning the bookshelf. "If you need anything, just tell me." Scootaloo frowned and looked down. "Okay." She said, turning around and walking towards the fridge. She took out an orange juice box and started to sip juice from it. "So.......you're not gonna give me any cool or fun activities? Or even lessons?" She asked, turning her head to see Rainbow, whose eyes were fixated on a bookshelf. "What do you mean?" Rainbow asked curiously, selecting a book labeled "Game Of Crowns". "Did the Rainbow Dash from your world give you things to do?" She asked, putting the book back and taking another one. Scootaloo tapped her hooves on er chin. "Well, yeah. But, not exactly chores. More like, private lessons to become cool!" She said, trotting a little closer to Rainbow. Rainbow paused for a split second and continued her search. "I don't know how to be cool, kid." She said in a deeper tone. "You should've went to T for those things in this world. She would've been absolutely delighted." Rainbow said, rolling her eyes. Scootaloo noticed what she meant and shook her head. "Yeah but......nevermind." She said, turning around and walking to her room. When se did, she locked the door and sat on the bed. Scootaloo sighed and looked around the room. There was nothing much to do. She lay herself down on the bed, set the juice box on the end table, and closed her eyes. But, for some reason, she opened her eyes and got up. Scootaloo trotted to the window and opened it. The sky was pitch black, and the only things she could clearly see was the stars and Luna's shiny moon. She felt the urge to do something fun. Perhaps it was boredom. She jumped out the window and safely landed on a lake. She swam out, shook the water off, and ran to a certain place. "Maybe.....maybe we're not too late." The door swung open after Scootaloo knocked on it several times. "Ya know, I feel bad for my door." Twilight said. "It's being punched several times now. Mostly by you and your little crusader friends." She said, pointing at Scootaloo. Scootaloo gave a small, nervous giggle and opened her mouth to start speaking. But just then, Twilight interrupted. "Ah-ah-ah, I don't wanna ear it again." She snapped, opening the door wider and trotting inside. Scootaloo entered and tilted her head. "What do you mean, again?" She trotted in and followed Twilight into the library. "D-do you mean.....Sweetie Belle and Applebloom came here too?" She asked curiously. "Yep." Twilight smirked at herself. "They're somewhere in the library." She said as she stopped walking and pointed at the library. She trotted away to a different room and said, "Well, see ya!" Scootaloo waved goodbye to Twilight and stepped inside the library. "I guess they both came here too." She muttered to herself as she went to the M section of the library. When she got there, she looked around and froze. They weren't there. Does this mean that they left without her? "Oh, so you came too!" Applebloom shouted. Scootaloo jumped. "I wanted to go back." Sweetie Belle admitted. "I liked our free will but......it didn't feel right anymore." The three of them looked at the mirror. It was as shiny as it was before. "Well, what're we waiting for? Let's go!" Applebloom screamed, running to the mirror. But immediately, Sweetie ran after her and pulled her tail. "Wait!" She yelled. "The mirror only works for 30 moons, remember?" She frowned and sat down. "If it weren't for me, none of this would've happened." She said, almost at the brink of tears. Scootaloo noticed, and patted her on the shoulder. "No worries, Sweetie Belle! It wasn't your fault! At least we learned our lesson!" The three beamed and stared at the mirror. "Well, what now?" Applebloom asked, raising her eyebrow. "Um.....I think this is where I come in." A voice came from somewhere. It was very strange, yet familiar. The tree jumped in surprise and fear. "Princess Luna!?!" They shouted in sync. They walked around a bit to see where the voice came from. But even if they did, the library was so quiet that they could tell nopony was there. "I'm not here, little ones. Just listen to my voice." She said. "Remember when I said that the mirror only works for 30 moons?" "Yeah?" Sweetie Belle asked, trotting towards the mirror, thinking she might be talking through the mirror. "I lied." She said. "WHAT!?!" Scootaloo and Applebloom shouted so loud that a nearby vase almost cracked. "Wait, something doesn't feel right......" Sweetie Belle thought out loud. She touched the glass of the mirror, feeling its magic. She went through again for one more time.... "Hey, wait!" Scootaloo yelled after her and cased Sweetie. Applebloom followed along as fast as she could. Sweetie opened her eyes as she got up and shook her head. She could barely see, everything was so swirly. The only thing she could see was a dark purple figure, and a taller figure, it ad many colors, but was mostly brown. She shook her head to see even clearer, but then, she noticed what was happening. "Hey, wait!" Sweetie screamed as soon as her vision suddenly became better. She got up and stepped forward. The two figures ran away. "I told you that it would not work, Discord!" Luna scolded him. "Why did we have to tell everypony that it would only work for 30 moons!?!" "You agreed anyway!" Discord shouted. "Plus, Fluttershy told me to help ponies get life lessons! I just did, didn't I?" He yelled as he snapped his finger and teleported both of them to a different place. "There you are!" A voice came from somewhere in the room. Applebloom jumped once she heard the voice. "Sis?" She said, running after the voice. She bumped into an orange mare and got hugged. "We were so worried!" Rarity said, following Applejack. "You were gone for days, I thought you'd never come, darling!" She said, hugging Sweetie Belle. Sweetie gave her a bright smile. Rainbow Dash flew in and surprise attacked Scootaloo with a hug. "You had me worried, kiddo!" She scolded her, patting her on the head. "Sorry!" Scootaloo laughed. They all fell into laughter and went to another room. "Oh, you found them!" Twilight said, levitating a tray of tea and biscuits over to the table. Spike ran to the table and ate a biscuit, making Twilight glare at him for being impatient. "Where'd you find them?" She asked, turning her smile back on. "They were in your library." Applejack said. "They were in front of that ol' mirror o' yours." She looked at Applebloom worriedly. "Did you three go in?" "Yeah!" The three said in sync. "We went to a parallel universe and everypony's personalities were opposite of theirs!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. Everpony looked in confusion, besides the three fillies. "You must've been dreaming." Spike said, still eating biscuits. "Here, ave some tea and biscuits!" He lifted another biscuit, and it unsurprisingly landed on his mouth. "It's true!" Scootaloo said. "And even if we were, how could we have the same dream? At the same time?" "It's happened before, you know." Rarity said. "Luna combined all of Ponyville's dreams into one to defeat the Tantabus, remember?" "Oh, right." Sweetie Belle frowned. "Well, we did see Luna at the end of the dream. So maybe it was." "The good thing is, we learned something!" Scootaloo beamed. "Right, girls?" The other two girls grinned and nodded. Everypony else in the room happily smiled, proud of the three fillies. "Well, I'm thinking the three of you need rest." Twilight suggested. "Spike and I can have tea and biscuits ourselves for today." Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash nodded and went to Applejack's barn for a sleepover. "Nghhh...." Rainbow moaned as she got up and trotted down to the kitchen. She picked up a small book that was there for some reason. She read the title out loud, but she just got up and she was so tired that her sight was horrible. "Hmm.......Narhia.......She Nantisore.......the corn.....and the......claw? Nevermind." She said, dropping the book on the table and walking away. The End.
