This is the adventure of Silver Mane, a pony who lives on the outskirts of Baltimare and who is a professional hunter. One day, he is contacted by Princess Celestia to help some villagers in distress who have been attacked and have had several villagers killed by a pony eating Manticore. Silver Mane is charged with hunting down and killing this beast. Unlike Fluttershy, he knows that there are some problems that can't be solved with friendship and understanding.
