After a night long flight Lexee and her parents arrive to Ponyville at dawn. Running from something she doesn't know all she cares for is peace and safety. Always an outcast, thanks to her unusual appearance for a batpony, she hopes to start a new life in unknown environment among ponies. She hopes to find acceptance and maybe a friend. But what finds her is far from that, what started as a friendship and seemingly normal life will soon destroy everything she cares for. Corrupting her mind and enslaving her soul, turning her into a shadow of what she used to be. A deadly shadow. And what exactly was behind it all?
