A Night To Renember

Later, We arrived at the party. It was thrown in a private garden. It was full of wildflowers and lovely soothing music from a nearby orchestra.

With a nifty little dance floor in the grass.

The lot was lit by colorful lanterns that were dropped among the branches above the yard.

Tables and a bar where set up beside the stage. Separated by a fountain of a griffin pouring water into the base.

The guests were very colorful. The ladies were dressed in lovely flowing dresses and the jets where in snazzy suits and ties.

It was unlike any other party I've been quite a few  years.

There was music and mingling among the pretty, pastel coated ponies.

My friend stopped me at the archway gate and tapped my  Shoulder with her cute little bubble dressed hoof.

"These ponies think i have a boyfriend. So just try to play it cool and not go too far.

Hehe it's not like were gonna kiss or anything."

She laughed and i blushed for i wanted to kiss her so bad but i restrained myself and chuckled.

"Y-yeah that'd be quite daffy."

We laughed it off and headed in.

As soon as i stepped into the party yard, i swear everyone froze. And just looked at us. Some where their jaw was ajar while others just blushed. They looked at me in particular. It was awkward on many levels with silence

Even the music forze.

It was weird and i lowered my ears

And blushed when i saw derby wrap her wing around my back Reassuringly.

A beautiful blond mare approached us. She had a blue dress that was long and blue.

She wore two green eyes and her mane was up in a bun and curled tail.

She blushed and walked up to me batting her eyes

"Well well well. Ditzy you weren't kidding when you said you had a handsome lover."

She said stroking my arm lovingly

"He's strong too. You're lucky."

Derpy giggled nervously.

"Y-yeah heh he is quite um... something al-alright... hehe."

I was just blushing a storm at all the complements.

"How long have you two been an idem?" Asked the mare.

"Oh um i um about like si-"

"Six months my dear." I added cutting my companion off as i was able to see her getting a little jumpy.

The mare hummed and gave us a doubtful look.

"How do i know you are actually dating? And that good looking gentleman isn't some scum off the street who you brined."

She got very offend

And i got a little twitchy

"he is my boyfriend!"She stomped offend.

"He can't be! He's WAY out of your league."

I stepped in "dose that matter? We love each other and you need to accept that!" I got in her face angry trying to protect her.

She backed off sat down crossing arms unamused.

"Prove to me your a couple. Kiss!"

She blushed red and looked at me. Not moving i decided to go for it and gave her a deep kiss on her lips. Everyone gasped. It looked fake but it was all too real.

I kissed deeper and let it all out

She didn't kiss back because she was shocked

I didn't care i kept going for 30 seconds.

The kissed departed and I looked into her eyes apologetic

She looked back at me in shock

"Doctor..."

I blushed

"I'm sorry..." but i really wasn't all that much

she pulled me aside and i knew i was in treble

she asked me why I went so far on a fake kiss and I told her

I didn't want it to be fake.

this caused her to blush and kiss my cheek.

and replied with a soft mew of a voice "i didn't either"

I smiled and kissed her again

"I have wanted to kiss you for so long dizzy. and when I had a chance i took it

and too it a little too far. I apologize"

she shut me up with a kiss on my warm lips.

she giggled " It's okay I'm sorry i didn't Kiss back. I was surprised you'd kiss me like that Doctor. thank you."

I smiled and kissed her back. "no problem now what do you say we dance?"

she nodded and took my hoof as I lead her to the dance floor.

she pressed her body gained my large chest.

it was very soothing

it was too perfect

it was a moment to be remembered

as well as a Night to be remembered.
