Chapters One and Two: A filly listens to her grandpa telling a bedtime story. The story or tale is about Espionage and Clipper, both of which are Pegasi travelers. They cross the country keeping safe an ancient item that Espionage has as a "keep safe" from some time ago. Oh, and a war… several really.
The Rest: Espionage and Clipper travel across Equestria keeping safe an item of vital importance. Espionage being her drunkard self, while Clipper is the "grounded" one.
