The Chosen Folk

[Tucked away in a chest covered by rubble in an abandoned cottage, you find an older book covered in dust.]

[You blow off the dust and examine the cover; the illustration depicts a winged silhouette against a full moon.]

[Opening the book, you find the pages still relatively intact; you flip the page and find the Forward. Looking at the date,

you can tell it's been at least twenty years since it was published.]

As a race, the Lunar Pegasi have never been ones for formally recording their history, choosing rather to orally pass down the traditions and stories from one generation to another. Due to this, there are a precious few documents, aside from personal journals and such, that can help form a clear picture of who they are and where they've come from. So, because of this, I will be endeavoring to provide a sort of summary for the average, hard-working pony of Equestria who has the inkling to learn just a little bit about their Lunar bretheren, the Chosen Folk of Her Majesty, Princess Luna.
