Rebirth of a Doctor

The Void...A place where dead creatures battle each other to re-enter the cycle of living or to simply fade to nonexistence. Among these restless spirits was a singular sphere of golden light that stood out among the other grey-out spheres of light. This golden sphere of light floated among these wandering, desolate husks still it stopped in-front of another "Out of place" sphere; unlike the other spheres...This sphere was entirely black.  The golden sphere began to float into the black sphere of light as they fuse together into a singular mass. Inside this mass was a Infinite white void where two figures floated, staring at each other coldly. The taller figure had a human shape frame, standing tall and proud. His attire was composed of old medieval armor composed of sliver and gold. His face was old and serious as this mysterious figure strokes his long, grey beard. The second figure was a-lot shorter than the other figure, being the size of a child. This being wore an outfit composed of jet-black robes that seem too large for him. Coming out of the sleeves of the cloak was a pair of thin, fragile arms that were covered up by both bandages and Jet-black gloves.

"We finally meet at-last...Dr. Henry Anubis.." The old figure spoke, his tone of voice being somber and slightly regal but demanding authority. The cloaked child slowly moves his head toward the gaze of the old figure as he silently nods. "Do you know who I am Anubis?" The old man harshly said.

"You are King Peter...Sovereign of old and guardian of the dammed" Anubis politely said, his voice seeming rather calm and collect despite the terrible gaze that this King was giving him. King Peter was stroking his beard as he floated over to him and towered over the child frame of Anubis.

"I see you have reverted back to your Infancy state since your untimely demise at the hands of Vice-Corp" King peter said as Dr. Anubis nodded, remembering all too well on what had happen; Images played back in Anubis mind of a two humans activating the AED against him and reducing him to complete and utter nothingness. Anubis slowly gripped his left hand in anger at the thought of those two humans.

"Yes. With the total eradication of my physical body at the hands of those pesky humans, It is seemed I am forced to revert back to my infancy state...Damn that detective and his partner!" He said angrily, tightening the grip against his concealed hands as King peter chuckles. "What is so funny you old hag?!" Anubis snapped toward the chuckling king as Peter gaze turn toward to a look of utter amusement.

"I am laughing at how childish you are acting of now! Take your death like a ma--" He suddenly cut himself off "Or whatever the heck you are classified as" Peter said as he gave Anubis a stern look that seemed to pacify his rage some. "I did not come here to belittle you on your past nor the failure that you committed during your existence...The reason I am here is to offer you a proposal" King peter calmly said as Dr. Anubis looked up to the old man.

Dr. Anubis had known very little on the being known as King Peter except for the simple fact that every scientist of the metaverse knew about him. King Peter is an ageless being that existed long since the metaverse was first created and will continue to exist when it ends. Those who have spoken to them were often given mundane task, ranging from easy to near-impossible to complete. Those who succeed in King peter quests were often rewarded with a single wish from the All-Powerful being but those who fail were often placed in an area worse than hell. To hear the King of creation want to propose a deal instead of tasking Anubis with a quest was something unheard of in the course of creation. Dr. Anubis looked up to the kingly being and shook his head in agreement.

‘Excellent…I am here to offer you a chance at a new life…A chance where you are restored to your more adult form and given free reign as the master of your own destiny. It will be in a world that technology is severally lacking but contains the properties of magical concepts such as magic and mythical creatures.” King peter said, catching the interest of Anubis who thought about domination of this planets Inhabitants. He almost started to laugh in delight until he caught himself and looked up at King peter.

“This deal you are offering is very convincing but I’m no fool…What would I have to give up in-order to be placed in this area that you speak of?” He asked inquisitively as King peter chuckled.

“In-order to place you within this world…I must transform you into the most pre-dominant species on the planet. You will still retain your parasitic abilities and supernatural feats but I shall turn you into the native species to avoid causing a panic.” King peter simply said as Dr. Anubis ponders on this offer.

It seem like forever of thinking and deciding on Anubis part but he quickly shook out of his concentrated state and stare at King peter. “Very well you old king…I’ll accept your deal but know this! Despite what happens to me or what I become on this new world…I shall dominated and become it’s ruler! Just you wait and see!” He declared as king peter chuckled. Peter snapped his fingers as Dr. Anubis started to glow and get concealed in a rainbow color light as he vanish as peter sighed.

“Let us hope, for everyone sakes, that those technocolor ponies can change this horrible abomination to life into something better” King Peter said sighing as he looked toward the planet of equis and ponder on the many paths that Dr. Anubis could take.

Soon Dr. Anubis body start to reform itself into the physical world as he fell from the sky and landed with a solid boom into the ground, causing a small crater to form. Dr. Anubis open his eyes slowly and saw the environment around him; The overall area seemed to be a small clearing within a large forest, various vines hung from the trees as exotic plants grew too. The first thing Anubis noticed that he was no-long covered by his articles of clothing anymore since he could feel himself breathing fresh, clean air. The second thing Anubis noticed as he looked down at what he had; he saw that he had a hoof but not just one but 4 in total as he got to his feet to just tumble over onto the ground. In a small puddle he saw himself; He was a dark green equine creature! It was at this point Dr. Anubis Screamed!
