Twilight said to Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash as they came into the castle. "I'm so relieved that at least the three of you were able to come since Rarity is so busy with her shop, and Applejack is busy with apple buck season." The four of them sat down in their thrones. "So what is it Twilight?" Rainbow asked. "Ya are we here for baking?" Pinkie asked with excitement. "Ooh ooh or are we here for the map? Or...." "Pinkie! Calm down!" Twilight said assertively, "you are here for a different reason." Pinkie pie frowned as Twilight got up from her throne. "I need to show you girls something." She ushered the three of them down the hall to a room with a lock on it.   Twilight used her magic to unlock the lock. As it opened, a crystal staircase formed and the walked down. "So what exactly is this place?" Rainbow asked as they reached the bottom. Everything was so dark the couldn't see anything. Suddenly  light turned on to reveal a lab set up and pairs of lab coats and safety glasses hanging on a coat hanger. "This," Twilight explained, "is my lab. I go down here to...well.." "Do experiment-y things?" Pinkie pie asked. "Uh...yea...experiment-y things." Rainbow rolled her eyes. Classic Twilight she thought. Twilight lead them over to the portal she used to get into Canterlot high when the Sirens were causing trouble. She had moved it down here for safety purposes. Right beside it was a small table that had a pair of broken glasses on it.   "The other day, I was down here, experimenting with a new chemical, it's going great! I've learned a lot! I'm only half way through the experiment so I have a lot to..." "Ahem!" Rainbow scoffed, taking Twilight out of her science rant. Twilight cleared her throat and continued. "Anyways, while I was down here, there was some sort of power surge, or something along the lines of that, and all of a sudden, the portal glowed a bright blue and these fell through. These aren't like normal pony glasses. These have to have come from the human world. But I have a feeling that these aren't from Canterlot high." Pinkie and Rainbow gave each other a worried look and Twilight continued. "They don't look like pony glasses sure, but they also don't look like any glasses I saw at Canterlot high." Twilight lifted the glasses with her magic to let Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow have a closer look. "Did you tell the princess?" Fluttershy asked. "Yes but she's not sure where they came from either." Twilight answered. The four of them thought as they stared at the glasses. "Hmmmmm" they all said. "Ooh OHH! I know! What if you put the glasses into the little magic holder at the top of the portal," Pinkie said as she pointed to the spot where Sunsets book was. "then it might take you to another world!" Twilight replied, "That just might work....but then what?" "We go through it! Duh!" Rainbow said with an annoyed tone in her voice. "I'll send a letter to the princess and we'll go from there." Twilight said. The three walked back upstairs to await the princesses reply. "Umm do I have to go to?" Fluttershy asked Twilight. "It all depends on what the Princess says." Twilight answered, trying to reassure her friend. END OF CHAPTER ONE //-------------------------------------------------------// Meanwhile, In Another Demension... //-------------------------------------------------------// Meanwhile, In Another Demension... In Gravity Falls Dipper started at the ceiling and the morning sun shining through the window. He got up and made his way downstairs where his twin sister, Mabel, was eating with there Great Uncle (or "Grunkle") Stan. "Morning Dipper! Want some Sparkle-Cakes?" Mabel asked. She held up a stack of pancakes with whipped cream, a million sprinkles and Mabel's favourite "Edible Sequins" all over them. "Ummm no thanks sis," Dipper replied, "I'll just get some toast." He walked over to the toaster and put in two pieces of bread. "Hey, is Great Uncle Ford up? I heard him come in really late from his monster hunt last night." Dipper asked. Mabel shrugged. "He's probably in the basement doing some dangerous science experiment on a creepy monster he captured last night." Grunkle Stan said dismissively as he read his newspaper. Dipper rolled his eyes. "Well I'm gonna go check on him." He said as he grabbed the now toasted bread, buttered them, and put them on a plate. He made his way to the vending machine. The Mystery Shack didn't open for a while so no one was there. He imputed the code and made his way down the steps to Ford's lab. "Morning Great Uncle Ford!" Dipper yelled as he walked down the stairs with his buttered toast. "Morning Dipper!" He heard his Great Uncle yell from bellow. Dipper found Ford imputing a code into some familiar machine. "Hey isn't that the copy machine in Stan's office?" Dipper asked, "The one I duplicated myself with?" Ford turned to Dipper wearing no glasses, which was weird. "Yes, yes it is." Ford said, as he continued imputing the code. "So....what are you doing with it?" Dipper asked as he walked over to the machine. "Oh, just doing a little modifying. As you may have noticed, I don't have my glasses on." Dipper set down the plate of toast and nodded. "When I first made this machine, I noticed that the things it copied would melt when water touched it. Hence the modifying." Dipper nodded in understanding. "So," Ford continued, "since I lost my glasses last night during my monster hunt, I decided to use the copier." Dipper looked confused. "How could you copy it if you don't have the object to copy?" Dipper asked. Ford finished imputing a code in the copier and replied, "That's why I modified the machine! I made a ray that would scan an item and give me its 'code'. I scanned my glasses a while ago and wrote down the code. I impute the code into this machine, and it builds a new version of the item. Watch." Dipper looked to the machine. Ford pressed a blue button on the side of the machine next to the keypad. The machine shook and a blinding light erupted from the machine. As soon as it disappeared, a new pair of Ford's old glasses was on the machines side table. "Wow! That's incredible! But, why do they still have a crack in them?" Ford looked at the glasses and also noticed the crack. "Hmmm, well, I did write down the code for my glasses yesterday, so I suppose the code would count for the crack to be included." "Hey Great Uncle Ford?" Dipper offered Ford a piece of toast and they both ate while staring at the clone glasses Ford put on his glasses. "Dipper," Ford said, "Would you like to come with me for my next monster hunt?" Dipper's eyes widened. "T-that would be a-amazing!"   Ford laughed. "Well, you'd better be ready tonight." Dipper was freaking out. He grabbed the now empty plate and ran upstairs.   "See you later Great Uncle Ford!" Dipper yelled as he closed the secret door. Ford laughed to himself, "Just like a younger me." //-------------------------------------------------------// A New World //-------------------------------------------------------// A New World In Equestria Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Pinkie all stood in front of the portal awaiting the princesses arrival. "Does everypony have everything they need? Food, emergency supplies, etc.?" Twilight asked her friends, paceing the floor. They all nodded. "Good" Twilight said in response. "Ugh! I'm tired of waiting! Can't we just go already?" Rainbow asked impatiently. "The Princess clearly stated in her letter to wait with our supplies until she got here." Twilight clarified. "Spike's upstairs ready to greet the princess and lead her down here. Besides, this isn't just some adventure, this is an opportunity to learn more about other worlds."         "I wouldn't mind waiting." Fluttershy said. "Thank you for following my directions." The four of them turned there heads to see princess Celestia in the doorway. They all bowed. "That won't be necessary." The Princess said, ushering the mares to stand. "Have you tested the portal?" Celestia asked Twilight. "Yes princess." Twilight said nodding. "Excuse me princess," Pinkie asked anxiously, "What was the super important thing we needed to know?" "Of course." The Princess replied. "There are a two things you need to know." The group nodded before Celestia continued. "The first thing, Twilight has told me about the other versions of you in the Canterlot High Demension. If any of you encounter ponies, or other things like this, you must return at once." The group nodded. "But princess, how will we get back if we can't find the portal? Hypothetically speaking." Twilight asked. Celestia nodded. "That's my next point." She answered as she levitated a purple, six pointed star gem out of the bag she was wearing. It looked like Twilight's Element of Harmony, but with a darker purple. "This is an emergency gem. Twilight has also told me about your human counter parts having powers and 'ponying up' during emergencies. So, we have inserted Equestrian magic into this gem. You put your hoof, or whatever type of hoof you have, on it and say, 'friendship is magic'. The magic wil release and give you your normal pony 'powers' so to speak. But be warned, anypony may use this. Even ponies who aren't from our dimension, so make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hoofs." Celestia paused to make sure everypony understood and continued. "The magic will return to the gem after one hour. To open a portal to Equestria, face it towards a flat surface and say 'return to Equestria' and it will open a portal. For safety purposes we put a lock on the gem. So as soon as the four of you enter or exit the portal, it will automatically close." "That's ALOT to remember!" Pinkie commented. Celestia smiled, knowing that Pinkie tends to spit out her thoughts without thinking. "Does everypony have all they need?" Celestia asked the rest of them. They all nodded. "Very well. Twilight? The glasses please." Twilight opened a chest that held the glasses and presented it to Celestia. Celestia took the glasses and placed them on the top of the portal. She looked to Twilight and nodded. Twilight nodded back and flipped a switched. The portal lit up and opened. The portal was very different from the Cantorlot High portal. It was blue coloured with zigzag markings instead of the white/pink colour with spiral markings. Twilight, Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Pinkie all stepped up to the portal. They looked at each other and back to the portal. Twilight put her hoof into the portal and pulled it back, much like when she first entered the CHS portal. She then walked into the portal. Pinkie followed and dove into the portal, giggling. Fluttershy stepped back. Rainbow gave her a reassuring smile and ushered her into the portal. Then Rainbow flew into the portal. Spike tried to run into the portal but Celestia shut it off before he could make it. "I'm sorry Spike, but you can't go this time. We need you at Canterlot." Celestia said to Spike. "Okay..." Spike said back. "Iron Hoof, Silver Spike!" Celestia called. Two guards holding weapons appeared from the doorway. "Yes Princess?" They both said in unison. "Keep your eyes on this portal. Don't let anypony open it or disturb it. Silver Spike?" The light gray coated pony saluted. "At night use your magic to call over Luna's guards Nightwing and Navy Night for the night shift. Understood?" "Yes Princess!" The gaurds said. They saluted and got into their positions on each side of the portal. "Wow. Professional." Spike commented. "Come Spike," Celestia said, "we have work to do." "Awww.... Okay." Spike groaned as he followed the Princess out of the room and up the stairs. "I'm sure we can fit a royal back rub in there somewhere." Celestia said winking. "Yessss!" Spike said victoriously. "Hmm... I can't let Fluttershy go into a potentially dangerous dimension without me." Discord said, invisible to the gaurds in the corner of the room. ~O~ Gravity Falls, 6:00 PM Dipper waited at the front doorway for his Grunkle Ford with the monster hunting supplies. He was almost exploding with excitement. It was another chance for him to show Ford his potential. He had already told Stan and Mabel where he was going so they wouldn't worry. "Ready to go?" Ford asked as he walked out of the vending machine's secret entrance. "Oh I was born ready!" Dipper replied, trying to look cool in front of his idol. Ford laughed. "Well then, here's the situation." Ford pulled out his second journal to a page with a black spider on it. The top read "Giganticus-Aracnea".  "These spiders are very rare and hunt deep in the Gravity Falls forest. I was hunting for them last night but I lost my glasses. I've only seen them a couple of times. What I can estimate is that their height is approximately 1.4 meters high." He explained pointing to the measurements and math on the page. "Wow," Dipper commented, "Those are some big spiders." "Indeed they are." Ford replied, smiling. He closed the book and stuffed it into a pocket in his lab coat. "Now wear this." He pulled out a harness with a tube attached to a container on the back. It was sort of like those machines they used in the Ghostbusters movies. "I tried tightening it so it would fit, so sorry if it's a bit to big." Ford picked it up and helped Dipper put it on. It was much like the harnesses you put on before rock climbing. Then put on his own. They made their way out side and tested the mechanism. Ford pressed a button near the end of the tube and a green liquid shot out of it onto the tree where Ford was aiming. He ushered Dipper to do the same.  Dipper aimed and fired. He was a bit off from where Ford had shot but was good enough. "So what are these for exactly?" Dipper asked, studying the contraption. "Well, from what I did learn about the spiders, this is a sort of 'pest control' for them. It's a mix of a few chemicals. It won't harm us but you might want to avoid getting it in your eyes." Dipper nodded in definite understanding. "Well then, let's go." Ford said with a map in his hands, leading the way. Dipper followed and they began the journey into the forest. Unaware that they were about to find not only giant spiders. ~O~ Twilights P.O.V. I woke up with a familiar feeling. I opened my eyes to find me and my friends in a forest of some kind. I looked and, like I guessed, was human. I was in the same clothes that I had at CHS, but I noticed my mane, er, hair was in a bun as well as the presents of glasses. I also noticed, when I stood up, that I was shorter in this dimension. It looked like I was younger. I looked around and as far as I could tell, my friends we're in the same forms as they're CHS counterparts. But they we're about my height too. They we're all getting up. I could tell Fluttershy was terrified. "Oh, why did it half to be night?" Fluttershy asked, almost crying. They all started to realize their new forms. "Umm Twilight? What are we?" Rainbow asked examining herself, "OH MY GOSH I DON'T HAVE WINGS!" Rainbow screamed. "Shhhh! Calm down! We don't know what's out here." I said putting my...umm...finger on her lips. "To answer you're question, we are 'humans'. These same creatures are in the CHS dimension so I know more about their way of life then you do. So I suggest that if we meet any other humans, which we will have to do at some point, I should do most of the talking." I explained to all of them. Pinkie, strangely enough, was already walking. I guess that's just Pinkie. I've learned that with Pinkie, it's best not to question things. Pinkie and I helped Rainbow and Fluttershy up and gave a little lesson in walking, as well as using hands and the kind of language they use. "Okay now we need to find shelter for the night." I said. Fluttershy notice a squirrel chewing on a nut nearby. "Umm excuse me Mr. Squirrel," Fluttershy said bending down to the squirrel, "Do you know if there's any shelter nearby?" The squirrel didn't seem afraid of her, but still didn't understand her. "Sorry girls, nothing." She said as the squirrel an off with is nut. "That's okay Flutters," Rainbow said, "You tried." "So what do we do now?" Pinkie asked, bouncing around us. "Well, my survival books said that we should follow the direction of water or a stream. Everypony look for a stream!" We all spread out a little bit until Pinkie shouted that she found one. We all made our way to her as she pointed to a small stream. "Nice Pinkie!" Rainbow exclaimed. We started to go upstream until we heard a twig snap. //-------------------------------------------------------// New Friends //-------------------------------------------------------// New Friends Gravity Falls, 6:30, Somewhere in the forest, No One's POV Snap! "EEEK! What was that?!" Fluttershy squealed, hugging Pinkie. Pinkie hugged back in fear. They both stood there shaking. "Girls, calm down," Rainbow said, "As long as I'm around, nothing will bother us." Twilight rolled her eyes. They continued walking up the stream. thump thump thump thump They all stopped, Thump Thump Thump Thump They all stood close together, Twilight pulled out the Emergency Gem, Thump Thump Thump "Ready?" Twilight asked, with her hand on the gem. The rest of them placed their hand on the gem. . . . . . . A bunny popped out of the bushes.. The grouped sighed. "Wow, I thought we were in real trouble there." Rainbow said, wiping the sweat off her forehead as everybody did. Twilight's POV I stuffed the EG (emergency gem) into my backpack. We were about to continue walking when, zip, the rabbit was sucked into the bushes. Oh Celestia I thought. Pairs of red eyes glowed from inside the bushes. "Oh great! Now we're in trouble!" Rainbow commented. The red eyes rose and a HUGE spider emerged from the bushes. "WHAT THE BUCK IS THAT?! Sorry Fluttershy." Rainbow yelled. "It doesn't matter! RUN!" Pinkie screamed. We all took off. The spider was close behind. I tried getting the EG but it's kind of hard to reach behind your back when, you know, YOUR RUNNING FOR YOUR LIFE! "We Just have to out run it!" I yelled to the others. I heard new footsteps coming. Oh great! More coming! I thought. I looked back and there were now three of them, and I could still hear footsteps coming. Then....I tripped. On a rock. I felt a surge of pain in my leg. I must have scrapped it. The others came back to me. We were surrounded. One of them swung at us. We all managed to duck. Rainbow took a large stick and charged. "Aaaaaaahhhh" She screamed. She swung at one of the spiders. It caught the stick. "Oh crap." It threw it and moved forward They closed in. They all hissed. One of them grabbed me. I screamed. I tried to wiggle my way out. Rainbow threw rocks and sticks at it, Pinkie soon did the same. They shouted, "Let her go!" and insulted it. I could tell it really didn't like this. Fluttershy joined the "rock throwing and yelling" even though her yelling wasn't that loud and she only threw the small rocks. Then, I heard somepony, or in this case somebody, yell "Go!". From behind the trees, some green liquid was sprayed at the spider and it threw me against the tree. Everything went blurry. All I could tell was my friends rushed to me yelling "Twilight!" and the things behind the trees proceeding to spray the monsters. Then all went black. ~O~ I woke up on a table with couch cushions placed on it. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. My leg still hurt. I saw a light brown blob across the room, and a smaller dark blue and brown blob next to it. "Girls she's awake!" I heard Pinkie's cheery voice say to my left. I looked and all I could see were three blurry blobs, one was mostly magenta, one was mostly light pink and one was mostly rainbow colored. I knew who each of them were. My friends came over to me. "A-are you okay? You just blacked out after you hit the tree." Fluttershy asked. "I'm fine. Just a little, blurry" I replied. "That's because you'll need these." A male voice said. We turned to the brown blob carrying something. He came up to me and placed my glasses on my face. "Thanks." I said, adjusting my glasses. "Hey!" Rainbow said, "There's a crack in the glass." The man laughed, "Never stopped me before." He pointed to a crack in his own glasses. "Dipper! You almost ready with the bandages?" He called to the younger male. "Almost done!" He replied. I could see he noticed our confused faces. "Oh where are my manners? My names Stanford, but please call me Ford." He said as he extended a handshake. I knew what it was since it was basically a hoofshake with hands. So, I shook his hand. "I'm Twilight, Twilight Sparkle. That's Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow." I said pointing to all my friends as I said their names. "Got the bandages Great Uncle Ford!" The boy in the back said. He brought the bandages over and kneeled down to my leg. "Now this will only hurt a bit," he said, "But it will really help." I braced myself. It did sting a little when he first put it on, but it felt a lot better after. "I'm Dipper by the way." The boy said as he finished with the bandages. I studied the bandage. "Hmm. Nice bandage pattern." I commented. "Well, it's really all dependent on the length of the bandage spread across the equilibrium or the wound, as well as the width spread equally as well. It seems easy for me to make things into mathematical equations." Dipper described. Rainbow chuckled, "Wow Twilight, we found somebody who's as much of an egghead as you are!" "Rainbow!" Fluttershy interrupted her muffled laughter, "That's rude! These people just saved our lives!" "Don't worry about it." Dipper said, "I get that stuff all the time from my twin sister Mabel. By the way I bet she's eager to meet you guys. She was really confused when we came in with you guys." "Well what are we waiting for?" Pinkie asked excitedly, "We're the kind of girls who are always up for making friends!" Now that was true. Everyone got up. "Can you walk?" Dipper asked me. "I, think so." I replied. I limped but I could still walk. "I think I'm good" "Okay then." Dipper said, "Tell me if you have any problems with the bandages." I smiled. I grabbed my backpack and we made our way upstairs. When we got out we were in some sort of gift shop or trinket store. "What is this place?" Fluttershy asked.         "I like it!" Pinkie said, looking around Dipper answered, "The Mystery Shack! The most visited tourist trap in Gravity Falls, Oregon!" We all laughed at his advertiser impression. "It's also our Great Uncle Stan's house." Knowing that we had a constant way home, and the fact that these humans speak our language, we didn't need to know where we were, so we all played along. "You have two great uncles?" Pinkie asked, surprised. "Yea, but it's a long story. Mabel!" he yelled. We heard thumps coming from what I can only guess was a stairwell. A young girl came around the corner. She had braces in her teeth and her brown hair went down to her waist. She was wearing a purple night gown. "Oh my gosh I love your hair!" she pointed to me. Before I could say thank you, she pointed to my other friends. "And I love your hair! It's so rainbow-y! *gasp* And I especially love your hair and your hair!" She said as she pointed to Pinkie and Fluttershy. "Umm...thanks." Fluttershy said. "Thanks! I try to keep it as fluffy as possible!" Pinkie said, puffing her hair out. "Well, hi! I'm Mabel, I'm 12 and I'm weirder then most other people!" She said quite proudly. "         "Do you girls have a place to stay? I mean, you were pretty far into the forest." Dipper asked us. I got kind of nervous, I didn't know exactly what to say.         "Well, not exactly, I mean, we aren't really from around here."         "Can you girls stay for a sleepover? Since you're new, you probably don't have many friends around here." Mabel asked. I gasped. "Sleepover?! Oh my gosh yes! I've only ever had one sleepover and, well, let's just say a tree ended up crashing into my house so it wasn't the best experience." "If I can plan a good party, I could plan an even better sleepover!" Pinkie said, jumping up and down with excitement. Pinkie, Fluttershy, Mabel, Rainbow and I went up to Mabel and Dipper's room. So far, so good. Besides, we were only staying in this world for about a week to gain information about other worlds. I mean, that's what Celestia sent us for. //-------------------------------------------------------// Sleepover //-------------------------------------------------------// Sleepover Gravity Falls, 7:30PM, No Ones POV Everyone was in Mabel's room sitting on top of pillows. Dipper was downstairs watching T.V. with his 2 great uncles. Soos and Wendy were at their homes. "Okay, so what do you girls want to do first?" Mabel asked, looking around the room. "A pillow fight?" Rainbow asked. "Baking cupcakes?" Pinkie asked, pulling one of her 'Emergency Cupcake' sets. "I've got everything right here in my bag!" "Maybe Truth or Dare?" Twilight asked. "Hmm, well, I do have a Truth or Dare bored game." Mabel said thinking. "Oh my gosh! I know!" She went into the closet and grabbed a suitcase shaped machine with a microphone and a screen. "This is my karaoke machine." Pinkie gasped. "Oh my gosh! Karaoke? Twilight!" Twilight turned to Pinkie, confused as to why she addressed her. "You were in that band you told us about." Twilight realized that she was talking about that time at CHS when she, and the human versions of her friends, used music to defeat the Sirens. "Wait, wait, wait, you were in a band?" Mabel asked amazed. Twilight laughed nervously. "Well, kind of, yea, I guess. I mean it wasn't for long. I mean...ugh." Twilight face palmed. "Yes, I was in a band." she said finally. "Ooh that must mean you could go first." Mabel said, handing the mic to Twilight. Twilight didn't want to sing, due to the fact that she might transform when she sung, like at CHS. "Oh umm, I don't really..." Twilight said, fiddling with her hair. "Oh come on Twilight, have a little fun once in a while. It's not like you haven't done it before." Rainbow said, sitting against one of the beds. "Yea Twilight!" Pinkie said. "Give it a try!" Her friends didn't realize the possibilities, and she couldn't exactly tell them now. "Well...okay then." Twilight grabbed the mic and stood up. She bent down and entered the song selection on the karaoke machine. She tried to find a song that was remotely familiar. She came across a section that sparked something in her mind. "'My Little Pony' songs? What are those?" Twilight asked with a raised eyebrow. "Oh, I've had this machine ever since I was four." Mabel explained. "My mom downloaded those songs on since I was obsessed with the show 'My Little Pony' when I was younger. I don't remember anything about the show, but I think they still run it." Twilight, now interested, entered the selection. As soon as the songs popped up, she recognized the very first one, 'Shake Your Tail'. She selected the song and a countdown began from 10 to 1. "Just follow the lyrics on the screen and the instrumentals will be played by the machine!" Mabel clarified. The countdown ended and the song began. Then, Twilight sang..."We've just got the day, to get ready. And there's only so much time to lose....                                               One song later..... "Shake your tail 'cause we're here to have a party tonight!" Twilight finished. The karaoke machine stopped the music and went back to the song selection screen. Everyone's mouth was open. "Wow you were great Twilight!" Pinkie commented, throwing her arms into the air. "Yea, no wonder you were in a band." Mabel exclaimed. "It was very good." Fluttershy noted. "I totally agree Flutters." Rainbow replied. "Thanks girls." Twilight said, blushing a little. "Now who's next?" Before anyone could answer, there was a knock at the door. "I got it!" Mabel exclaimed, running to the door. "Oh hey bro!" she said, seeing her brother Dipper at the door. "Hey sis! Do you mind if I grab something?" he asked. "Of course." she answered, stepping out of the way and bowing as if he was royalty. He opened their closet and rummaged through it. "Hey by the way," Dipper said, still searching for whatever he was looking for, "Whoever was singing that song you were playing was pretty good." He found what he was looking for. It was a box. They couldn't see the top. "Well that was Twilight over there. We were doing karaoke." Mabel clarified. Dipper's eyes widened as he looked up from his box. "Wait that was you?" he asked, looking at Twilight. She nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed, even though she wasn't sure why. "Wow, Ford and I thought you were listening to the radio extremely loudly. You're pretty......good! Uh good, yea. You should be a signer... singer!" He face-palmed himself and whispered "stupid" to himself. "Hehe...thanks I guess..." Twilight replied. Then there was awkward silence for about 4 seconds. "So...anyways..." Rainbow said, breaking the silence. "What are you guys doing down there?" Pinkie asked. "Oh! Stan just went to bed so we are just going to start a game of 'Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons'" He answered, showing us the cover. "OH MY GOSH YOU HAVE THAT GAME?!" Twilight abruptly asked. Everyone's heads turned to her. "Yes! You've played it before?" Dipper asked surprised. "Of course! I haven't played that game since I was younger!" Twilight answered filled with joy at the fact that they had this game and that they knew about it. "Well you're welcome to join us...i-if you want to." Dipper stuttered. Twilight looked back at her friends. "Oh go ahead!" Pinkie said. "Are you girls sure? I don't want to be rude or anything." Twilight didn't want to leave a bad impression in front of Mabel. "Oh it's okay! Go have your fun! We'll be up here doing more karaoke." Mabel reassured her. The rest of them nodded in agreement. "Twilight smiled, "Thanks girls." They made their way out of room. Mabel and the others could hear Dipper yell, "Great Uncle Ford! We have another player!" Gravity Falls, A Cave Behind the Waterfall, 8:00PM, No POV "Hmm, this should be the right dimension after tracking their dimensional magic trail for about an hour or two," Discord said appearing in a cave behind a waterfall. "Now the question is where did Fluttershy go? And the other ponies I guess..." He saw the waterfall blocking the entrance/exit. "Well obviously they didn't go that way. Assuming the appeared here at all. I could be a bit off." He looked around for clues. He head a sound coming from farther inside the cave. "Fluttershy?" he shouted down into the cave. Being the creature he was, with the powers he had, he wasn't afraid of any other creatures he might have found. He heard a faint, "D-Discord?" "FLUTTERSHY?!" He flew as fast as he could farther into the cave. "Fluttershy?! FLUTTERSHY?" He yelled as he made his way farther and farther into the cave. "Discord? Help!" He arrived to a pedestal holding a silver necklace in the shape of a square with an orange gem. Discord was confused, for once in his life. That's not Fluttershy... he thought. "Discord help! We're in here!" Fluttershy's yelling was coming from the necklace. Discord was skeptical, he didn't really fool around with enchanted objects unless he knew what they did. But, what if Fluttershy was really in there? He couldn't just leave his first and dearest friend trapped in an enchanted necklace forever! "Fluttershy are you in there?" he asked looking closely at the gem in the center. "Discord! Oh thank Celestia you're here!" he heard Twilights voice say. "Twilight? You're in there too?" As the one who freed him from Tirek, he also deeply cared for Twilight, just not exactly as much as Fluttershy. "How did you girls get in there?" "We were trapped!" Twilight said. "The only way to get us out is to put on the necklace!" Discord wasn't so sure. "Are you completely sure Twilight?" he asked. Then he heard everybody yell "YES!" "Okay! Okay don't get your mane in a twist!" He levitated the necklace over to him and inspected it. "Just put it on Discord!" He heard Rainbow yell impatiently. "Free us already!" Surprised by the yelling he rushed the necklace on. There was a bright glow. Discord expected Fluttershy, Twilight and the rest would appear in front of him. Instead, his vision faded to black... //-------------------------------------------------------// Games //-------------------------------------------------------// Games Gravity Falls, 8:00, Mystery Shack Living Room, Twilight's POV Dipper, Ford, and I set up the board and pieces. We haven't chosen our characters yet. I already knew which character I was choosing. "Hey, I'm just going to the bathroom real quick." Dipper said, standing up and walking into the hallway. "So, you're a D,D, and More D fan?" Ford asked. "I'm surprised they have that game in Equestria." . . . I completely froze. Equestria? As in the completely different land in a completely different dimension. "W-what did you say?" I asked, hoping that I had just heard him wrong. He looked surprised, as if he expected me to know exactly everything he was thinking. He noticed the shock in my eyes "Oh! I'm sorry! Celestia must not have told you." he apologized. I was dumbfounded! Celestia never told me? Was she lying about not knowing about the glasses? "H-how did you know? Like, how did you...? I mean..." I tried to get the words out. My mind was just so busy. He just laughed. "Well, when you're stuck between dimensions for 30 years, you tend to get around. The princess and I would have secret conversations every time I got to visit. I suppose that it was so secret she wouldn't even tell her 'most faithful student' about it." he explained. "So," I said, "The princess told you about me?" "Sure did. As well as the times you've saved Equestria." I blushed a bit. I never really thought of myself as that special. Plus I never thought of me as being the topic of conversation. Especially with strangers from foreign dimensions. Then Dipper walked in, so I guess the conversation was over, for now at least. "Okay! So what characters are you guys choosing?" Dipper asked, rubbing his hands together in anticipation. "As usual, I will be Sir Saffron Stonecrop!" He held up his own character. It was a wizard type character with a huge staff with a green gem engraved in it. "Well I choose Winter Wolf!" Ford said, placing his character down. It was a man with wolf features and a cane engraved with white crystals. I recognized the characters. They were, after all, just human-ified, I guess. Anyways, I placed my character down. I don't know why I had it. I think it was that the bag I used was an old bag that I used to store my D, D, and More D, and other board games, in. I guess I must have left it in by accident. "I choose....STARSWIRL THE BEARDED!" I said proudly. He was always my lucky character. Ford smiled. "Good choice! Now, let's start the game!" Meanwhile, upstairs.... (no one's POV) "...and that's how you make heart cupcakes with out using tricky tools!" Pinkie finished. "Great advice Pinkie! I have to use that next time I bake! My mom would love it!" Mabel commented. Rainbow yawned, "So what are we doing now?" she asked. "I guess we could just talk." Mabel responded. "But what to talk about?" "Hey what about that brother of yours?" Rainbow requested. "Rainbow?!" Fluttershy said, surprised, "It's rude to talk about others behind their backs!" Rainbow shook her head. "No I don't mean to be mean, but, I've never seen somebody act so nervous since Twilight thought she would be sent back to kindergarten for missing an assignment. Does he do that all the time or what?" Rainbow clarified. Fluttershy didn't really seem convinced that she wasn't trying to be mean, but didn't say anything. "Well he does get nervous sometimes, but he only gets like that when..... (INSERT LARGE GASP HERE) OH MY GOSH! GREAT IDEA INCOMING!!!!!!!!!!" Mabel basically shouted. "We should totally get them together! Oh it would be so romantic! To nerds together!" Pinkie nodded. "Awwww! That would be so adorable!" Fluttershy raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure we should do that? What if they aren't interested in one another? We can't force those things." "Oh please! My brother will be thanking us in no time!" Mabel reassured her. Fluttershy wanted to protest, but she didn't like confrontation. She had just met Mabel, maybe she did know what she was doing. Then again, it could lead to fights or relationships ruined. But Fluttershy decided to keep quiet for now. "Now the question is... how do we do it?" Rainbow asked. Mabel thought for a second. She scanned the room and spotted the journal that was sitting on the bedside table. "That's it! Dipper and I often go on adventures looking for monsters and stuff. We could do something tomorrow and then carry out my plan." Mabel said triumphantly. Pinkie was basically vibrating with excitement. Rainbow and Fluttershy gave each other a confused look. "Aaaaaaaaand.....what exactly IS that plan?" Rainbow asked, saying what everyone was thinking. "Okay pay attention." Mabel said, ushering everybody closer as she explained her "master" plan. A Few Hours Later....(no POV) "BOO-YEA!!!!!! In your faces!" Twilight yelled, rolling a 36, meanwhile Dipper had a 12 and Ford had a 26. Twilight realized what she had just said. She turned completely red and covered her face in embarrassment. "I'm so sorry!" Dipper and Ford just laughed. "Well, it wouldn't be the first time someone went crazy playing this game." Dipper said jokingly. "Ford and I took the game a little to far last time, and, well, let's just say we ended up accidently releasing and having to fight off Probalilitor and his ogre minions in a real game controlled by my sister and his brother." he explained pointing to Ford. They all laughed. Twilight looked behind her, where a clock was. "Oh my! It's 11:30! We should get to bed." she pointed out. They all agreed and cleaned up. Twilight walked upstairs. "'Night Twilight!" Dipper said waving to Twilight. Twilight waved back. "Goodnight." she said back. She entered the room and let out a quiet sigh. "T-Twilight?" she heard a startled Fluttershy whisper. "Oh I'm sorry Fluttershy. Did I wake you?" Twilight whispered. She went across the room. She squinted and looked around. Pinkie and Mabel were sleeping on Mabel's bed and Mabel was hugging her pet pig, the blow-up mattress was in between the two beds, and Rainbow had her limbs spread out all across Dipper's bed with the blankets and sheets all over the place. Twilight quietly got onto the mattress beside Fluttershy and got under the blankets. "No, I just couldn't sleep. I'm fine though." Fluttershy replied. Twilight gave her a worried look. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked, placing her hand on Fluttershy's. Fluttershy smiled, knowing her friends would be there for her. "It's just," Fluttershy explained, "I don't know why I'm here. This town gives me a bad feeling. It happened a while ago, when we were playing a board game. I just got a bad feeling. Like something bad was about to happen. I really didn't like it!" They both lied down and closed their eyes. //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare Twilight's POV I opened my eyes. I was in my pony form, and in the bed I slept in back in Equestria. Was everything I just experienced a dream? I got off my bed. I couldn't find Spike or Starlight anywhere. I got to the door and walked outside. The ground was a checker pattern, the sky was half day, half night. Oh no I think. I see chocolate rain clouds everywhere. Pigs were flying, pies were emerging from the ground and flying upwards. It was exactly like when Discord was in charge of Equestria. I looked back at my castle, but it wasn't the castle I just walked out of. The colors of the crystals it was made out of were all faded. The crystals themselves were cracked and broken. It looked like it was thousands of years old, with nopony living in it. I checked all of Ponyville and I couldn't find any signs of Discord anywhere. Including Discord himself. I went back to the castle and went inside. The hallways were filled with stain-glass windows with Discord on them. I made it to the throne room. I was shocked. The map was completely shattered. The thrones were moved to the sides of the room. Three on one side, three on the other. I almost burst into tears when I saw what was sitting on the thrones. It was the frozen stone statues of all of my friends. They all had terrified faces. "I see that you found your way back" I looked up and saw Discord sitting on his throne. He had some sort of amulet on. "Discord? What are you doing? What happened to Equestria? What happened to my friends?" I tried asking. He lifted me with his magic. I was right in front of him now. I noticed something off. His pupils were an orange color instead of the normal red. "Oh I simply gave them what they deserved. Celestia and Luna got the royal treatment." The wall behind him disappeared. The sun and moon were both visible. I looked closer. I saw pony outlines on both the moon and sun. "How dare you?" I shouted. "What happened to friendship?" He laughed and cut his magic off, throwing me to the ground and returning the wall behind him. "I simply realized the truth. I didn't need friendship. As soon as I found this amulet, I couldn't see clearer." He lifted the amulet. "I followed you into that human dimension and found it. I took that dimension over easily. But don't worry your new friends are in good condition." He snapped his claws and six stone statues floated up from behind him. I almost screamed. Dipper, Mabel, they're two great uncles and two friends were also frozen with terrified looks on their faces. "Equestria is mine once again, Twilight. Nothing you can say or do will change that. Now, you'll see just how it felt." He snapped his claws and a orange beam of light hit my hoofs. Suddenly, I couldn't move them. I looked down and I was slowly turning to stone. I struggled. I couldn't break it. It was up to my neck now. I couldn't do anything, but scream. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" In the few seconds that separated my scream from a short boost of chaos, I was able to take note of a few things. 1) I noticed that I was crying 2) Fluttershy screamed 3) Mabel and Pinkie screamed 4) We all sat up Okay, that's all I got. We were all catching our breath when Dipper opened the door shouting "Are you girls okay?!" The thing is, he came in too quickly and tripped over Rainbow's extended leg, nearly causing Rainbow to fall off the bed completely, and landed on the corner of the blow-up mattress. He bounced off and fell into the open closet. "Is everyone alright?" Ford asked, standing in the doorway and turning on the light. Fluttershy and I were comforting each other from the burst of tears we both had. Rainbow was steadying herself, and Mabel and Pinkie were trying to figure out what in Equestria just happened. "You'll have to ask the girls that." Dipper said, stumbling out of the closet. Everyone looked at me, since they all knew it was me who screamed. "Yea, what did happen?" Rainbow asked. I wiped the tears that were still on my face from the freak out. "Well... I...umm. I just.... had a nightmare." I said, contemplating whether I should tell them the truth or not. "It's not a big deal or anything, just one of those weird, creepy dreams we all have. Right?" I laughed, trying to cover up my little white lie. Dipper sat on the corner of the mattress. "Are you sure you're okay? I could maybe get you water or something..." Dipper offered, sort of half-mumbling at the end. "If you wouldn't mind, I could use some water." I answered. "I got it!!" Dipper bolted downstairs. We all waited in silence for about a minute and Dipper came back with a small glass with water. "Thank you." He began to hand it to me. I reached out to grab it and our fingers touched. He instantly drew his hand back and his whole face turned red. He stepped back a bit and leaned against the door next to Ford. I just drank the water in silence. Ford looked at Dipper thoughtfully while Mabel and Pinkie whispered to each other smiling. I saw Dipper gave his sister a bit of a stare. Rainbow yawned and Fluttershy just sat their quietly. Something was going on. I drank half the glass. "Umm do you mind if I keep it on the table?" I asked. Mabel answered "yes" for him. I placed the glass on the table behind us. "Well, goodnight girls." Ford said, turning off the light and closing the door. Everyone else settled except for Fluttershy and I. "Fluttershy? I didn't mean to scare you." I asked her. "Oh no, I'm fine. besides, you know how easily I can get scared." She gave me a smile to reassure me that she was okay. I gave her the same. I took one last sip of the water. I looked at the clock behind us, 2:30am. I got into a comfortable position and tried falling asleep again.
