Author's Note
I am finally getting my motivation back to write and I have sorta pushed this off for way too long. I have no excuse for the time I've wasted in not doing this but school has smoothed out. I will certainly keep a schedule on writing too, to keep my lazy ass in check! Thank you watchers for sticking around!
Wilderness Misadventures
Twilight Sparkle gave a little groan as she walked uphill, her hooves helpful in keeping footing even as her muscles prepared to give out on her.

Twilight cracked another smile,"Oh she's doing the usual thing she does even though I am an alicorn! Partying, and it's fun. You should try and come along to one if you ever have free time. Put up some advisers to handle the workload!"

Twilight gave a swift yet affirming nod,"I'll...remember that next time I try to coax her to do something like that. Maybe I can offer her something."
Cadence snorted,"Pfft...you may not think but she's very stubborn when it comes to that old system of her's. She may be rather calm by all definitions of the word but she's not willing to change on a stance so quickly. I love her and her quirks though. I think she can be awkward, much more than you for sure."
"Oh yeah, that totally wasn't a playful jab at me Cadence. I'll uh...figure something funny out to pick on you over."
"Let's not get onto that! I'll lay off of the awkward jokes and running into you and your private time!"
Twilight gulped at the thought. Despite it being a joke to Cadence, she wasn't aware of just HOW bad things could get,"H-Hey what happened to what you said about the teasing? Let's just get back to the campsite and get ready for night time! We don't want to get into trouble with any timberwolves do we?"

The two had gone back into the camp, and not long after ate and went to their beds. In the same exact tent. Things were quiet for the most part, with the occasional chirping of a cricket or the howls out in the distance of a timberwolf or some Diamond Dog that got lucky while mining out a hill. It was awfully hard to tell the difference. One sound was too much at one point, and Cadence blinked open her purple eyes. She sat up straight, then groaned out quietly.
"I can't even get a lick of sleep...ah I miss my Shiny..." Cadence yawned and looked over to Twilight sleeping soundly, and she grinned,"Hmm...still quite cute. I'm sure she'll make some male really happy some time,"the Alicorn prattled on to herself, as if trying to relax more so she could sleep.
