"I demand that you give me their files!" Lyna shouted, both fists striking the counter in front of her. She was currently in the administration building where the U.S. government kept records of currently deployed, retired, and deceased soldiers.
A man dressed in pixelated green camouflage behind the desk pulled his glasses off, pinched his nose and sighed, "I'm sorry ma'am but for the last time, you are requesting access to highly classified files which I sadly cannot give you, I am very sorry for the inconvenience."
Lyna knew he was not sorry for shit.
Lyna angrily punched the plexiglass which was separating her from doing anything too drastic, but she wanted this man to give her what she wanted and this was the only way. She didn't like violence but this man was keeping something that belonged to her and he was pushing her past her limits and getting on her nerves.
The man then stood up and pointed towards the entrance, "Please leave immediately or I will call the sentries to come and drag your ass out of here kid," he smirked, crossing his arms.
Lyna threw another swing at the plexiglass, this time which gave a faint crack sound and upon inspecting it, it had cracked. Lyna grinned devilishly as the man visually recoiled and she got ready to swing another fist at the weakened structure. The man grabbing the radio behind him and saying something before slowly backing up with a slight ounce of fear present on his young face. Lyna smiled evilly as she brought her fury upon the glass, but she felt something strong grip her wrist.
A voice behind her spoke, "I wouldn't advise doing that ma'am, please leave or you'll be shot and I'll have to file a report saying you attacked an on-duty officer."
The guy behind the counter smirked, "You had it coming," Lyna gave him a death glare, she then turned in defeat and proceeded to the entrance, flanked side by side by two armed sentries.
"Bitch."
Lyna immediately spun around and dashed towards the already cracked glass, full of rage, the sentries not wanting to have their asses court marshaled for shooting a civilian, tried to grab her again, but she was nimble and burst through the glass, surprising the man behind the counter. He dashed for a rifle but was too slow as Lyna pounced on his back and proceeded to beat the backside of his head to a pulp. The two sentries were aiming their pistols at her, yelling and shouting, telling her to stop or she'll be shot. But she didn't care, she wanted those files and this guy she was currently giving the beating of his life, was the first step. She then felt something round pressed up against the back of her skull, hearing the faint noise of something clicking.
She knew what it was.
She closed her eyes, knowing what would happen next. Until the door on her right flew open with incredible speed, startling everyone in the room, at the door was someone she recognized, "What the fuck are you doing Lyna?!"
<><><><><>
Lyna shot up, fully awake in cold sweat and nearly falling off her hammock.
"Woah, take it easy Lyna, are you ok?" she felt a hoof on her shoulder, Lyna looked to her left, it was Adam. She could barely see Adam as it was still dark and the fire had long gone, but she could see the white of his fur sticking out from the blackness, illuminated by the bright moon and resting upon her shoulder, "You...you still care about me...right?" she hesitantly questioned, looking away.
Adam looked at her with a bit of confusion because of the random question but ignored it as he gave her a gentle sad smile, "Of course, like I said before we 'died', I will always love and care about you, no matter what happens," he said softly.
Lyna relaxed a little but then slowly looked up at him, "Even after what...I did that one time?"
"Well―" Lyna visually winced, "―it was a bitch to clean up and create a dumb cover up story, but I still care about you Lyna, after all, you are my little sister," Adam smiled warmly and opened up his forelegs and pulled Lyna into a sympathetic hug. And also pulling her off the hammock with a thud.
She was surprised and hesitated a little but smiled, closing her eyes and returning the hug, wrapping her forelegs around his back. The feeling of his warm fur and feathers keeping her warm from the day's still chilling morning.
"And stop making me feel all touchy-feely, it ruins my man card."
"But you aren't a man anymore, remember?" Lyna sneered, Adam ignored her.
Lyna pulled away from his caring hug and gave another smile, even though she was roughly dragged off of her makeshift bed and onto the cold ground, "So why are you up?" she asked, changing the topic, not wanting to make the mood sadder than before.
"Well, I was getting ready to go hunting―" Lyna cut him off.
"At like five in the morning?" she questioned, tilting her head and looking at the moon. Whilst noticing that he was holding the rifle and pointing it towards the woods.
"Actually it's three but―" Adam cleared his throat, "―what I was saying before that question earlier, you started to scream and thrash around a lot, I had to repeatedly push you back into the middle―" Adam's face then contorted to concern and worry, "―then you stopped and started to laugh like a stereotypical villain."
Lyna looked away, thinking vigorously, "I...I did that?" she hesitantly asked.
"Yeah, woke me up, was scary as shit and gave me chills, but I survived," Adam looked at her concerned again, "Are you sure that you're alright?" he questioned, "It's not every day, you hear someone laughing crazily in their sleep."
She looked back at him shamefully, "Yeah, I'm fine Adam, I just...need some time alone."
"Alright, I'll leave you alone," he smiled then slung his weapon on his back and stood and his hooves, "Anyway, I'll be looking for food, you've haven't eaten anything in a while."
Lyna had just noticed that she was starving, "Ok," she looked at him worryingly, "Please stay safe."
"Can't guarantee it," Adam saw her slightly panicked face, "But I'll try this time."
"Get the fire ready if ya want and you can..." Adam held a hoof to his chin, "...I don't know but just don't laugh maniacally again, it creeps me the hell out."
Lyna looked away, slightly embarrassed from her unconscious flailing, 'I hope I'm okay...'
"Oh yeah! Practice using these," he gave a light ruffle of his wings, "And also keep an eye out for any scattered gear," he then pointed at a camouflaged vest which Lyna had not noticed before, "Apparently, those two cases weren't the only things that came with us."
She nodded, hoping she would find anything that isn't militarized.
"And if anything comes out of the forest―" Adam unclipped the holster on his right flank and pulled out his M9 with a hoof, "―fire into the air or if you're feeling feisty, shoot that sucker," Adam flipped the pistol into the air, grabbed it by the slide, then pointed the grip towards her.
Lyna, still not used to picking up things with hooves, hesitantly took the pistol in her mouth, sat on her haunches and started to fiddle with it with both her hooves. Adam just smiled at the sight.
Adam walked over to the vest which already had plating within it and the second 30 round magazine and three pistol magazines tucked snuggly into its holders, 'Kinda weird how I didn't even bring this stuff with me on the truck...do I even own this at home? I mean, it's not every day you trip over a fully plated tactical vest in the middle of a forest,' Adam mentally shrugged, 'Eh, fuck it, finders keepers,' he picked up the heavy tactical vest and slipped it on, 'Even weirder how it fuckin' fits me too,' he thought as he examined the vest, 'Creepy.'
Deciding that Santa had given him this gear because he was good, 'Even though I've killed hundreds,' he turned and started towards the forest until Lyna called out, "Wait!" Adam turned his head, "Are you gonna kill like an animal or something?" he nodded.
"Why? You like animals?"
She shrugged with her hooves with a slight raise of her folded wings, "I don't have a problem with killing animals but don't ponies and horses eat like grass and plants?"
Adam thought this over, he looked down towards the green grass illuminated by the moon then curiously opened his mouth, "Adam what are you―"
Adam lowered his head and took a mouth full of grass, then proceeded to spit it out as his face turned to pure disgust, "Yeh! It tastes like shit!" He opened his mouth wide and started to use his hooves in an attempt to rub any of the vile material off his tongue to reduce the awful aftertaste.
Lyna had dropped the M9 to the ground and was making an attempt to not burst out into loud laughter. As she controlled the laughter, she then noticed something, 'Why does Adam have canine teeth...? Then again, I didn't get a good look.'
"Adam, open your mouth," he paused from his rubbing and looked at her. His huge magenta eyes staring quizzically at her.
"I swear if you stick a dic―"
"I'm not gonna stick a dick in your mouth," Lyna interrupted, "Now friggin' open your mouth."
Adam hesitantly opened his mouth, 'I swear if she sticks her horn...'
Lyna picked up the M9 which was still on the floor, stood up and moved towards Adam, 'Unless she sticks that gun in...'
Lyna sat back down, leaned closer and took a look at his teeth, 'Huh, I was right, they are canine...and look pretty sharp,' she examined as Adam shifted on his haunches, uncomfortable from this level of examining, 'They look a lot like the ones we had as humans.'
Adam closed his mouth and backed up, "So, uh, why did you play dentist for a sec?"
"Apparently, we still have our human teeth," she replied.
"Does it look like I care?" Lyna glared at him, "I still would've eaten meat anyway."
"You would've not been able to chew it easily."
"Then I'll swallow it like a snake."
"But you'll choke," Lyna giggled mentally, 'On dick.'
Adam threw his hooves into the air frustrated, "Whatever, I'm gonna go find some game," Adam turned, slung his rifle over his neck which rested on his chest and headed into the dark, thick forest.
<><><><><>
"There you go Mr. Rabbit, are you comfortable with your new home?" a yellow pegasus asked.
A little white rabbit peered from its new home, which was a fallen hollowed out tree trunk, and nodded whilst smiling warmly.
"Are you sure that you'll be fine with living in the Everfree forest?" Fluttershy's face shifted to worry and panicked, "I mean there's a lot of monsters and creatures that could hurt you and w-what if t-t-hey..." she almost burst into tears but felt something on her foreleg. It was the rabbit giving her a small hug and a reassuring smile that said, 'I'll be fine.'
"Ok... but please be safe," the rabbit nodded, "And if you need anything, please head over to my cottage, I have more than enough room for you," the rabbit nodded for the umpteenth time.
Fluttershy turned whilst picking up an oil lamp, looked back at the little white rabbit who was waving goodbye and then walked towards the exit of the dark forest. She didn't like leaving the rabbit there alone in the Everfree forest but if he wanted to stay, she can't stop him.
'What if he gets hurt?' Fluttershy's face once again, became panicked, 'But he should be able to take care of himself...right?'
As she walked she kept on thinking about how Mr. Rabbit was going to survive on his own, 'I just wish that he'd stay with me and the safety of my cottage...'
Ahead on the side of the path, she saw a dark figure, it looked like another pony, but with thinner legs. She immediately stopped and stared straight at the figure, hoping it was a friend.
"Um...hello?" she shyly whispered.
The figure started to slowly move towards her. Fluttershy's face changed from worried to fear as she backed up, hoping that the creature will just go away. She closed her eyes, 'M-my eyes are j-j-just messing with me...'
But they weren't.
The figure got closer as the yellow pegasus backed up. She felt her rump hit something hard, she turned her head. It was a tree.
She immediately fell to her belly, dropping the oil lamp in her mouth where it fell to the ground, smashing and enveloping her in pure darkness. She started to tear up as she held her hooves over her head, 'Go away!' she hoped mentally.
It didn't go away.
With only the moon to illuminate the surroundings and the dark figure as it got closer. It was a few feet away and it stopped as the moon fully lit up the figure.
It was a deer.
Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief, 'Thank Celestia, it's just a deer...maybe he'll want to come back to the cottage with me!' she smiled, the fear that was once present, now gone.
The deer tilted it's head, looking at her quizzically. Wondering why she was so afraid.
Fluttershy was about to get up before she heard a faint 'pssh' and seeing something fast flying at supersonic speeds coming out of the forest, illuminating the dark forest whilst making a faint hissing sound as it headed straight for the deer.
The deer let out a choked loud grunt as the foreign object pierced the deer's skin and flesh, rupturing vital organs as the object cut its way out the opposite side of the deer, and spattering strange patterns of blood all over the illuminated forest floor. The deer choked again before collapsing on the ground and twitching as it's life essence poured out of two small sized holes creating a puddle of crimson.
Fluttershy was shocked and immediately pushed herself behind the tree, quietly whimpering, 'W-w-what h-happened?!' she thought, trying not to scream and attract the mysterious killer.
For a few moments, nothing happened. It was eerily quiet. Way too quiet. She was about to get up and run crying until something shifted to her far left. She watched as a bipedal dark figure came out of the dark forest, holding something in its arms, pointed towards the corpse, slowly moving towards the deer. Fluttershy quietly watched, 'W-who is this? W-w-why would t-they kill a poor innocent animal?!' she suppressed a whimper as the figure got closer to the corpse. She suppressed a gasp as the figure was lit up by the moon.
There, standing on two hindlegs was another pony, 'she', Fluttershy assumed, had a white coat which was partially covered by a bulky vest, a flowing ethereal mane of many colors and a long horn plus two large folded wings on her back. One image of a certain pony had materialized in her mind.
'Princess Celestia?'
She was aghast, 'W-why is Princess Celestia here?! In the E-Everfree forest at four in the m-morning?! Why did she k-k-kill an i-i-innocent c-c-creature?!' she started to whimper when the white alicorn started to move around the deer, the odd 'cylindrical spear' still pointed at the corpse and unknowingly moving closer to Fluttershy.
Fluttershy tried to suppress the barrage of whimpers that were about to unleash, 'P-p-please don't s-see me,' fear crossed her face as the alicorn pulled out a knife from a sheath on his bulky vest, it glinting in the darkness.
<><><><><>
Adam looked over his kill as he mentally nodded, 'Should be enough for both of us.'
Adam looked at his combat knife which he had found stuck in a tree while searching for food. It had a ring for which it was mounted on a weapon to be used as a bayonet, 'I don't like bayonets, they don't work well with long ass suppressors... and reminds me of how World War One was fought.'
He slung his suppressed rifle over his neck and fell to his haunches and was about skin the deer until something rustled the bushes behind him.
Adam jumped back up to his hindlegs with great speed and whipped around while simultaneously readying the knife and hastily pointing his M4 towards the noise. He couldn't see anything, 'I need to find some NVGs...ah fuck it,' Adam flicked the combat knife towards the location of the sound, the knife disappearing into the darkness, hoping that he'll get a second kill to impress Lyna as she had never seen his hunting skills.
<><><><><>
Fluttershy watched in horror as the sharp pointy object embedded itself into the tree trunk with a 'thwunk', inches away from her face.
She instantly teared up, frantically pushing herself away from her almost gruesome death and screamed as she turn't and ran down the dark path.
<><><><><>
Adam saw a dark yellowish figure shift around vigorously in the bushes before hearing, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, h-help somepony! Princess Celestia's trying to k-kill meeee! What did I d-do wrong?!"
Adam had his weapon aimed at the fleeing figure, 'The hell?' he slowly lowered his weapon, eyeing the distant darkening figure who was still screaming at the top of it's lungs, he shook his head, 'Screw it, I'll think about this later,' he looked over at his combat knife, glinting in the darkness, 'I gotta move, no doubt she woke up the entire forest.'
Adam fell to his legs and hastily pulled his combat knife from the tree and sheathed it on his vest. He then galloped over to the lifeless corpse of a deer and awkwardly pulled it onto his back, painting some of his white fur and mostly the vest with crimson. He ignored the cold feeling and galloped into the thick forest.
<><><><><>
Adam silently walked towards the camp, pondering about the recent events, looking at the dark trees hanging over him and around him, 'Who the fuck was that? Why was it another pony and not a human?' he guessed that he had died and went to hell along with his sister earlier, mostly because his truck wasn't there and he was pretty sure that he was in a truck before all of this mind fuck stuff happened, 'Apparently hell is where humans are turn't into fuckin' ponies,' he smiled if that was the case, 'At least we were turn't ponies so I have a chance at blending in with the other ponies if there are any,' Adam thought, 'These ponies probably would've gunned me down if they saw a fully armed human strolling into town.'
He frowned as there was still one question unanswered, 'Why did she call me Princess Celestia?'
Before he could ponder again, he heard multiple distant loud popping sounds, sounds that he too well recognized.
'Oh no.'
<><><><><>
Lyna threw the emptied pistol at the darkened figure with a hoof. It gave a low growl as it dodged.
"Back off! Go away!" Lyna shouted and backed away from the closing in creature.
As the creature got closer, it opened its eyes which gave a dark lime greenish color, lightly lighting up the darkness.
"I said to screw off!" she shouted again and pointed towards the forest, "Turn around and go back into the forest!"
The creature gave another low growl before stepping closer. Lyna kept on backing up as the creature was lit up by the campfire she had created.
Lyna now had a good view of her predator. The creature looked like a wolf, about the size of her, but this was no ordinary wolf like the ones at home. The wolf seemed to be made up of wood, branches, leaves and logs serving as the creature's flesh and bones. Lyna noticed it's sharp teeth as a dark green saliva dripped from it's mouth and it's eyes glowed green as they locked onto her.
She tripped on a branch and fell backward towards the ground with a loud thud, "Ow!" she yelped in pain and rubbed her back. She stopped, eyes widening as fear crossed her face when she heard the low intimidating growl again, this time a lot closer. She turned her head and cowered as the wolf was a few feet away, readying a stance to pounce on her and rip her to shreds, its mouth watering and dripping.
'Where are you Adam?!' she thought, 'Please don't be dead...'
Before the wooden wolf could leap into the air and end her life, she heard a feminine yell that resembled a battle roar. They both looked around in confusion, Lyna saw Adam running on his hindlegs charging towards to unsuspecting wolf with his rifle which had a knife attached to the barrel, 'Where did he get that?' The wolf heard Adam and was caught by surprise as Adam lunged forward, driving the bayoneted rifle into the wolf's wooden neck. The wolf let out a sickening gurgle as Adam twisted the rifle before pulling it out and aiming the barrel towards the wolf's head.
"No one mess's with my sister."
Adam pulled the trigger, the striking pin hitting the primer and igniting the 5.56mm cartridge and sending the bullet spiraling down the barrel at supersonic speeds and straight into the wolf's head, sending shards of wood flying in every direction as the bullet turned the inside into a gory paste and coming out the other side splattering brain matter and blood all over the green grass, painting it red. The sound thundered as Lyna clamped her ears shut with both hooves, still not used to the loud sound. The wooden wolf then collapsed and fell apart as it died.
"Adam! Thank God you're alive!," she pushed herself up, ignoring the pain and jumping on the white pony, grinning from ear to ear and catching him by surprise. He dropped his gore-covered weapon and tried to back up but she was fast and pulled him into a loving rib-crushing hug and ignoring the fact that his vest was damp with blood.
She heard a faint 'Your welcome,' in the back of her mind, but ignored it as she was overwhelmed by pure joy.
"Goddammit...can't...breathe," Adam heaved.
Lyna realized that she was hurting Adam and let go while looking away and lightly blushing, "Oh, uh, hehe...sorry," she covered her face with a dark blue wing.
'Argh! It's too cute!,' Adam thought as his mind was engulfed in cuteness.
"I assume that you've found out how to control your wings?" Adam groaned whilst rubbing his back. He looked at the sky, the yellow shining sun started rising from the ground. It filled the sky with mighty colours of red and splashed the clouds with endless rays of pink and illuminated the once darkened forest, 'Man, what I wouldn't give for a camera right now.'
She nodded ecstatically, "Yea! I can friggin' fly now!" she spread her wings and flapped them quickly, jumping into the air as she hovered. Then attempted to land which ended with a face full of dirt. Adam burst into laughter.
Lyna sat up and rubbed her face and horn, crossing her hooves and frowning, glaring at him, "You think that you can do better?"
Adam made an effort to control himself, "N-nah, no, i-it's..."
"It's what?"
"It's n-nothing," she raised an eyebrow, "Nothing really, just remember to teach me later," Adam managed to control his laughter and exhaled, 'Whoo...haven't laughed like that since July.'
Lyna decided to let him have his fun. She stood up and walked over to the wooden wolf's corpse, "Anyway, I'm pretty sure that these kind of wolves aren't found back at home," she then kicked a branch that was once attached to the wolf.
Adam stood up and walked past the wolf towards a black object on the ground, "Well we are most likely in hell," Adam picked up the emptied pistol and slipped out the empty magazine tucking it in his vest and pulled out a fresh one and slid it in, pulling the slide back with a hoof which cocked the pistol, and then slipping it into his side holster.
Lyna looked at him quizzically, "How? I haven't seen any monsters or demons."
Adam looked back, "Well, I don't know, God or Satan is probably messing around with us I bet," they both looked at the sky, "And created something that I am supposed to be scared of," Adam held a hoof to his chin and looked back down, "Which I'm not scared of, except for the man to women shit, I ain't forgiving God when I catch his ass."
Lyna looked down and shook her head, deciding to deal with their assumed location at a later time, "Ok, so now what?"
"Well first I'm gonna head back and pickup a deer that I killed and dropped somewhere in the forest cause I am hungry as fuck," Lyna agreed, he then pulled his heavy vest off, dropping it to the ground and stretched, "And then I'm gonna wash the blood off and get some shut-eye."
Before Adam could head towards the forest, they both heard the sound of leaves rustling, it sounded way too unnatural.
Adam galloped towards his dropped M4, ignoring the vest and picked it up whilst pushing himself onto his hindlegs and pointing the weapon towards the thick forest. They both waited, unmoving as they watched the bushes rustle again.
They saw another one of those wooden wolves come out of the forest, but this one was small, it looked like a pup, they both watched as the lone pup ran towards the pile of blood and wood, Adam kept his gun trained on the pup, the pup sniffed around then looked at Adam quizzically then looked at Lyna. It started to run towards Lyna.
Lyna heard a faint clicking sound which sounded like a safety going off, "Stop Adam!" she immediately jumped in front of the pup who was looking around curiously at the two.
"Lyna move! It's gonna kill you!" Adam commanded.
"A little puppy?! I doubt it dude, and look!" she pointed a hoof at the small wolf who was peering at Adam from behind the dark blue pony, "It's not even hurting me!"
"That's what it wants you to think!" Adam yelled.
"You're overreacting!"
"No, I'm not! I'm putting the thing out of its misery!," Adam pointed towards the pile of wood stained with blood, "I probably killed its mother!"
"Probably but look! We can't just kill a young wolf just because it doesn't have a caretaker...yet."
"What do you mean by 'yet'?!"
Lyna felt the small wolf nuzzle her hind leg, "I mean we take it in and care for it."
"What?! Are you out of your mind? We don't even know how to take care of an animal let alone one that no one has ever heard of!"
"Lower your weapon, Adam," Lyna said sternly.
Adam glanced at the wolf then at Lyna, there was a extremely long pause as the two stared, he looked down and sighed heavily, flicking the safety back on and dropping the rifle to the ground and falling onto his haunches, "But if that thing rips your face off, don't come crying to me," he crossed his hooves and glared at Lyna, not noticing the little pup's advancements on Adam.
When he saw the wolf, it was too late, the wolf pounced on Adam and he fell backward onto his back. Adam was about to grab the wolf and fling it into the fire until he felt something warm. He looked towards his belly and saw the little pup laying on top of him and nuzzling his soft white fur which surprisingly isn't covered in blood.
"Looks like he likes you, Adam," she playfully said.
'Maybe it's not so bad,' Adam sighed again, "Hopefully I don't regret this..." he murmured as he pushed the pup off who struggled and attempted to lay back on Adam's warm fur again, "Anyway, I need to talk to you about something that happened in the forest," he said rolling over and pushing himself upright.
"Yeah? What is it? What happened?"
"While I was about the skin a deer that I killed, some yellow pony came out of the bushes and ran off screaming bloody murder."
Lyna petted the little wolf who moved to her side, "Weird, and there's more ponies?" Adam nodded, 'And you said this is hell...'
"Even weirder when she called me 'Princess Celestia' and basically begged for me not to kill her as she ran."
Lyna did a double take, "Why did they call you that? Are you like, their version of Satan?"
Adam shrugged, "I'm guessing that I'm like a story character or something from their fairytale books."
"I dunno, that's pretty farfetched, us getting sent to 'hell' as you call it and being turn't into cute little ponies? It sounds ridiculous if we told them that."
"Yeah but there's also another problem, that pony probably went to go get their authorities to hunt us down."
Lyna's face went blank, "What do we do if they find us? Won't they think were crazy if we told them our story? And also your name is another problem too," she worryingly informed him.
"How? I don't see any problems."
"A female pony walking around with the name 'Adam' and used to be a guy? Yeah right, you'll end up in a mental institute!" Lyna looked at him, "Even if you tell them what happened, they'll think you're crazy as hell," she reasoned, "Adam, you gotta change your name."
Adam went pale, "But I like my name!" he pleaded.
Lyna looked at him sadly, "I like it too but you gotta change it, it won't make any sense if the police catch me calling you Adam," she placed a hoof on his shoulder, "You won't like it when it's in their mental patient database."
Adam looked down and fell silent, 'She's right, it doesn't make any sense, especially now that I'm a girl,' his face darkening as he realized what he had to do, "But what should I change it to?"
Lyna stopped petting the small wolf who was now asleep and held a hoof to her chin, "What did that one pony call you? Celestia right?" she looked at Adam who obviously didn't want to change his name which represented as one of the last signs he had of being a man before. She started making up names, "How about Tia?" he shook his head, "Celest?" he shook his head again, "Celly?" he shook his head once more, "It's sounds catchy, Celly it is."
Adam/Celly glared at her, "But it's too girly! How am I supposed to intimidate my enemies?" he threw his hooves in the air in frustration.
"Cmon, it sounds cute on you," Celly's ears fell flat as she crossed her hooves and pouted, "Cheer up dude, how about we go take a bath in a lake that I found while flying and then have a meal with the deer you killed, hmm? That sound good?" she suggested softly, rubbing his back. (The story will start to refer Adam/Celly as she, her, etc. to make more sense.)
Celly looked at her, slowly nodded, "I might as well change it, but I won't like it for a while."
"Understandable," she looked at Celly, who was depressed as hell, "Maybe you'll attract some girls~" she mischievously said, "If you're still into that of course."
"Obviously, I used to be a dude, my name may have changed to some girly fucking shit but I still got a lot of me left in here," Celly pointed towards her chest, "How I'm gonna do it without a dick?" she shrugged, "I dunno but I'll find a way, I always do."
"No doubt," Lyna looked at the sun which was now overhead, 'Dang, time flies when shit goes down,' she looked at Celly who just sat there motionless staring at the ground which was very unusual for her past self, "Anyway, let's get you washed up 'sister'," she smiled warmly as she picked up the sleeping wolf with her hooves and gestured Celly to put him on her back.
Celly gave a sad depressed look at her, 'I'll never get used to this...' she thought as she stood up and let Lyna place the wolf on her back on the non-bloodied fur. She twisted her neck around and looked at the sleeping wolf who was snuggling his white fur. Celly smiled sadly, 'I guess it isn't so bad...for now.'

Princess Twilight Sparkle walked towards her destination inside of her massive crystal castle. She looked at the crystals on the wall and ceiling, reflections of lights danced and glinted as she walked. She turned a corner and opened two massive oversized doors with her magic which lead her into one room that she loved being in; the library!
'Today's reshelving day!' she grinned from ear to ear as she clapped her hooves together. But before she could start pulling all the thousands of books lining the shelved walls, the door behind her burst open, loudly banging as they hit the walls.
She turned her head and saw an orange earth pony with a stetson on her head at the door who had a face of worry and concern, "Twi! Ah' need your help!"
Twilight fully turned her body around to face the orange pony, "Calm down AJ, what is it?" she asked, a little worried.
Applejack placed a hoof on her chest and breathed, "It's something havin' ta do with Flutters. She ain't comin' outta her cottage and keeps on whisperin' about Princess Celestia out fer her hide."
Twilight stared at Applejack confused, "What? That's strange, why would the Princess be going after Fluttershy? Did she do something wrong?"
"Ah don't know but she's real shaken up like pony swimmin' in ice-cold water. Can ya ask the Princess why she would be actin' like this?" Applejack asked.
"I'm not sure, the Princess is currently doing something important in Canterlot and told me specifically not to disturb her unless she says otherwise."
Applejack looked worried, "Jus' send a letter anyway Twi, ah'm sure she'll understand."
Twilight shrugged a little, "I don't know AJ, she sounded like she really didn't want to be disturbed at all."
"Please Twi," Applejack pleaded, "Ah can't stand seein' Flutters actin' like this."
"Alright AJ, I'll send her a letter, but she might not reply."
"Better ta try than do nothin'," Applejack said.
"I guess so," Twilight stood up and walked toward a crystal desk, magically producing a scroll, inkwell, and a quill. She spread the rolled sheet and began writing.

Lyna sat and watched a wet Celly awkwardly attempt to wash her back, Lyna smiled at the sight.
Lyna looked up at the bright shining sun, 'Honestly, I don't like calling him―, I mean, her Celly,' she sighed and looked back down at the peacefully sleeping wolf, 'Its gonna be hard to get used to, no doubt that she's having a hard time too,' she stood up and walked towards Celly who was still struggling to wash herself, "Hey! Lemme help you Ad―, er, Celly!"
Celly stopped and looked at her, "I can do this myself," she said sternly, "I don't need any help."
Lyna's expression hardened, 'No doubt he's mad,' she stepped into the warm water and headed towards Celly, "Dude, just let me help you, I can see that you're struggling."
"I can do this myself, Lyna." Celly seethed as she turned and once again tried to wash herself.
Lyna couldn't just stand there and watch him, it wasn't even funny anymore, "If you won't let me help you, I'll forcefully hold you down and wash you."
"Like hell you can―" Celly was interrupted as Lyna jumped high into the air, surprising the hell out of Celly as she tried to run but the water made it difficult. Lyna landed on top of Celly and pushed her down, the water shallow enough for her to breathe.
Celly struggled to move as Lyna held her forelegs down, "I know you're mad and stuff but we aren't gonna get anywhere if you keep sulking around!" Celly glared at Lyna as she struggled to move, looking for any opportunities to take advantage of.
Seeing as there were none, Celly stared once again at Lyna, her teal eyes digging into her own. She sighed in defeat, "Fine."
"Now tell me whats wrong so I can help you."
"Get off me first."
"Not until you tell me the problem."
Celly looked away from her sisters gaze, "Ugh, fine, I am a teensy bit mad about the name change," Lyna raised an eyebrow, "and I just don't like it when you're helping me."
"Why?" Lyna asked, genuinely curious, she's helped Adam before with a few minor things.
Celly looked straight into her eyes, "Because..."
"Because what?" she demanded.
"...Because I made a promise to our parents to take care of you and you only. I vowed to myself to only help you become successful. I never saw myself having a good paying job because I was pretty bad in school and constantly started fights. I just don't like it whenever someone else has to help me do something. It just doesn't...feel right and I don't need you fussing over it."
After all these years, Lyna had never realized this before, 'Is this why Adam's always so helpful? He only wanted to see me become...successful?' she started to look away as she took in the new information. She never knew that Adam had been constantly aiding her, now that she thought about it more, he was always too helpful, buying the house, paying all the taxes, buying her that truck, and a bunch of other stuff too.
"I just...wanted to...ya know...see you have a perfect and successful life, my life could be debatable but I'm a soldier, I'm supposed to die protecting our nation, I've seen some shit in Afghanistan and it could traumatize anyone, it's already affected me, like how our parents died when we were young."
Lyna still did not know how their parent's lives ended but seeing both Adam and Celly, it probably could traumatize her.
Lyna looked back down at Celly who was clouded by sadness, looking down away from her. Lyna pushed herself off of Celly and sat on here haunches staring at the glistening water to process the new information. Celly slowly pushed herself up, water sloshing around them as they both sat in silence.
Celly broke the silence, "I uh, I understand if you hate me now that you know...our parents didn't want you to know but...I guess that you have the right to know now," she rubbed the back of her head.
Lyna had mixed emotions running through her head, she stared right a Celly who was looking down the entire time, not wanting to make eye contact. Tears started to build up in her eyes and she jumped in front of Celly, water splashing everywhere and drenching them both as she hugged her tightly.
Celly was surprised. She looked down at Lyna who wept quietly. Celly rubbed her back trying to calm her. Feeling bad that she caused her sister to cry.
"I d-don't hate y-you, I-I love you...big sis," Lyna whispered before burying her head in Celly's chest and weeping again.
Celly was taken back, 'She called me her big sister...' she decided to go with it, she wanted 'brother' but at the current situation, it wouldn't sound right, she let it slide and let out a small sigh, 'I guess I'll have to deal with it, if she's happy, I'm happy,' she smiled and awkwardly wrapped her massive wings around Lyna, still not used to using them.
After what had felt like hours she sniffed as she controlled her emotions, "S-sorry that I...you know," she looked up at Celly.
Celly gave a warm smile, "I don't really care and it's alright, just don't pin me in the water again, ever."
She smiled and rubbed her muzzle with a hoof, "S-so are you still mad about the name thing?" she sniffed.
"Nah, I'll just...learn to deal with it in time, it'll take a while but I guess I can go with it," Celly brought a hoof up and wiped away a tear as they parted from their long hug, "Now cmon, I am starving, I'm trained to go days without food but I'm friggin' dying!" she stood up and shook herself, ignoring how dirty she was.
Lyna splashed some water in her face to get rid of any leftover tears, "Not until you let me wash you first."
Celly looked at her sister, who looked like she wasn't gonna take no as an answer. She sighed, falling to her haunches and smiled, letting Lyna help her just this one time, "Fine. But hurry, I still don't like being helped. And I probably gotta go hunting again."
Lyna clapped her hooves together happily as if she had never cried before and started to wade towards Celly. She was about to place her hooves on Celly's back until she heard a splash and was met with a face full of water.
"You gotta catch me first!" Celly teased and jumped away from Lyna, splashing more water towards her. Lyna dodged the water and stared at Celly, "Oh you're gonna get it!" she playfully yelled and splashed water at her sister. They both hopped around, laughing as they drenched each other. The little wolf waking up and running to the water joining the two in their naval war, happily barking.
As they laughed and played in the water, what they didn't know was that two alicorns were watching from a distance, hidden in the thick forest by the dark shade of the massive trees. Silently watching the three frolic around in the water.
Author's Note
I know that there're many readers who aren't a fan of Adam getting his name changed to Celly. But it would make more sense for him/her to have a feminine name.
Also, gimme a few suggestions for the little timberwolf's name, I can't think of one right now.
I'm probably forgeting to mention something but whatever.
Right now, I'm gonna celebrate with a bowl of hot ramen! Then do homework (groan).
Once again, constructive criticism is always welcome!
