Brutal Meeting

Eternal Flames, a young stallion with fur that’s white as the snows of winter, eyes that resemble sapphires with a scar-like birthmark under each of his eyes, and a red mane resembling that of the fiery hot sun above, ventures through the Everfree Forest. His goals of becoming the strongest guardian of Equestria and finding his mother are all that are on his mind at the moment. But he was stopped dead in his tracks at the sound of a low and nasty growl. “Who’s out there?! SHOW YOURSELF!”, he shouts. Soon thereafter, he catches a glimpse of 2 piercing green eyes, with no pupils appearing out of the bushes. He widened his eyes as he was discovered by a timberwolf and it was ready to devour the young stallion. But instead of giving into fear, Eternal Flames hunched his back like a lion ready to pounce at it’s prey and growled back at the timberwolf. "If you think I'm gonna go down without a fight, you're dead wrong. I'm not going to lose my life to the likes of YOU, ya overgrown howlin' TWIG!!!"

As the two circled around each other, *WOOSH* both Eternal and the timberwolf jumped towards each other with. In a flash of blinding speed, both the timberwolf and Eternal Flames landed safely on all fours…or so that’s what it seemed at first. After a good 5 seconds, the one who fell to the ground was the timberwolf.

“The next time you try and attack me, I won't hesitate to burn you into smitherenes.” He said calmly as he looked back at his fallen predator and continued to walk towards the place his father recommended: Ponyville. With only 2 miles of walking left, he start to smile a bit, but only for a brief moment as he started to hear growling and rustling bushes. “So you won’t learn your lesson, huh? I gave you a second chance to at life, but you leave me no choice but to-“ he soon paused as he spotted not 3, not 4, but 5 timberwolves, all eyes on him. "Damn it all! Looks like I should've finished you off when I had the chance! That doesn't matter now!" He says to himself. Without a seconds thought, he sprinted towards Ponyville hoping to outrun his vicious predators.

However, his hungry predators were hot on his trail hungry for his flesh and blood. He was nearly 10 minutes away from Ponyville at this point, but he was soon tackled by one of the timberwolves and landed SMACK right onto a tree with devastating force. He gets up and realized that he’s corned and has nowhere to go, so he resorts to his last attempt to escape: He fought his foes.

He charged in shouting angerly and started to overpower 2 of the 5 timberwolves, but his hungry predators got to him and sank their teeth and claws into his skin, leaving brutal scratches all over his body and bite mark on his left hinde leg. He couldn’t keep up the fight too long as his wounds start to take their toll. Blood had started running down parts of his face and body. Grunting in pain and backed up into a corner, and with only a fraction of his strength left, he’s forced to use his “special powers.” He gathered his anger and focused it within him and suddenly, sparks of flames circled around him and his predators, unaware of what's going on, they all pounced at him as he spoke.

“I gave you a second chance to walk away, but it's time for all of you to DIE!!! NOW BUUUURRRRRRRRRN!!!!!” He shouts as the flames erupted from under the ground and as his former predators were consumed by the flames, they let out their last howl before completely vanished with their ashes. As the flames shoot upwards into the sky and disappear, he collapsed on his side injured from the brutal fight. He is soon discovered by a group of soldiers in gold armor. "Be sure to be cautious with this one. We don't know if he's a friendly or not." said one of the guards as he lead the others out of the forest with the injured stallion.

Elsewhere, the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle, is in the library reading some books. But it was all cut short as she heard a thunderous loud noise outside her castle. “What in Celestia’s name was that sound I heard?” She shouted, worried that something happened somewhere in Ponville. Twilight soon dashed out of her castle and out onto the balcony only to see a beam of fire erupting in the distance. “Oh no, something must’ve happened in the Everfree Forest!” Fearing the worst, she sprinted towards where the fire had slowly disappeared. “Oh I hope nothing bad has ha-“ but before she could finish her sentence, she lets out a gasp of shock and terror. She sees a group of Princess Celestia’s royal guards carrying a young stallion with white fur, red mane, and scars under his eyes and was covered in scratches and bite marks, and he was in quite the bloody mess.“What happened to him? How'd he get hurt?” she asked, concerned for the stallion’s life.

“Do not get close to him, Princess. He’s dangerous!” says one of the guards.

"Dangerous?! He's injured and probably close to dying and yet you say he's dangerous?!" She shouts at the guard. Soon the injured stallion looked up at Twilight and spoke.

“Best if you didn’t see me. Especially in this condition, young lady. Besides, nothing's gonna get through these guys' heads.” He says in a low grunt.

"W-Wait, I..." she paused in shock. But then she shook her head with a serious look on her face. "I have to inform Princess Celestia about this whole situation! There's no way I'll let that stallion suffer!" She says to herself as she dashes off back to her castle."SPIKE!" she shouts, making Spike jump up shouting in fear.

"Twilight will you stop startling me like that? You almost made me spill my precious jeweled cake batter." He says looking at Twilight with a mild glare.

"No time for small talk, Spike. I need you to write a note to Princess Celestia! This is an emergency!" She demanded.

"What's the occasion then, Twilight?" He asked

"Spike just take a note and HURRY!" She demands even more.

"Okay, okay, jeez!" says Spike as he grabs a quill and an empty note. Soon Twilight spoke.

"Dear Princess Celestia, I need you speak with you right away. It's a serious situation regarding a stallion's life. He's in the dungeon injured. Please come to my castle immediately! Your fateful Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle." With that Spike sends the letter over to Princess Celestia.

Meanwhile the guards in the dungeon have chained Eternal against a wall with iron shackles on his front hooves, making them forced up above his head while spacing out with his mad, yet straight face. "Don't take this personal, sir, but we're taking precautions just in case events such as what you showed happens ever again." says one of the guards.

Eternal looked up, "Right...right." he says as he looks down trying to keep it his straight face enduring the pain from his bruises. 'It looks like my very first journey outside my homeland is cut short. I never knew this might actually be my last.' he says in his thoughts. 'Father, if I don't make it out of this. Please tell mom and my brothers....I'm sorry.' He says in his thoughts still grunting over the pain as his blood run down his body.

Urgent Royal Care

Celestia, the ruler of Equestria is sitting in her chambers when she receives a letter from Twilight. She reads it and has a concerned look on her face and heads over to Luna's room. "Luna!" she shouts.

"Yes, sister? What's happening?" Luna asks.

"Twilight has called me in. It's an emergency regarding somepony's life. I need you to look after the kingdom while I'm away!"

"Wait, somepony is in trouble? This could require BOTH of our help. Please, sister! Let me come with you!" Luna begs.

"No, Luna. I need you to look after the citizens while I'm gone. If I should need you while I head over to see Twilight, I'll send you a message straight away." Celestia says with a stern look on her face. Luna closed her eyes in frustration but then decided it was best to let Celestia go alone. After they settle their arguement, Celestia walks out of the castle and flies off to Ponyville. As she's flying she started thinking to herself.

"I hope it's nothing life threatening. I don't even want to think about what's going to happen if I don't make it in time."

With this last thought she hustles over to to Ponyville.

Meanwhile in the dungeon, Eternal Flames is still feeling the burning pain all over his body from his fight with the timberwolves. To ignore the pain, he starts thinking about his family back home and how happy they looked when they wished him luck on his journey to start a new life over in Ponyville. But it was short lived as he felt a jolt in his left hinde leg and grunted in pain. Soon he heard the cell door open. He looks up and sees 2 guards with a bowl of prison mush. Despite how it looked, Eternal wasn't in the mood to deny his stomach any food whether it be good or bad.

"Alright pal, it's dinnertime, now open up." Eternal looked up at the guard and nodded. He closed his eyes and opened his mouth wide open. The guard took a spoonful of the food and fed it to Eternal. Eternal chomped on the food fast to ignore the bad taste.

He started to cough after tasting the food, but he kept it down and looked at the guard.

"Ok...I'm ready for another bite." Both guards looked at each other and wondered why he wasn't trying to cause a scuffle, seeing as how he was bruised up and being fed such awful prison food. But they started giving him a few more spoonfuls until the bowl was empty.

"Alright now get some rest." The guard says as they lock up his cell door.

"Where is she? If she doesn't get here soon, he won't last long!" Twilight said in a panicing way. Sure enough, Twilight heard a knocking at her front door, she rushed over and opened them up. Low and behold, Princess Celestia had arrived in time.

"I got your message, Twilight, now tell me what's happened! Is anypony hurt?" she asked concerned

"Yes, Princess. There's a stallion who was arrested by the royal guards and taken into the dungeon. He's all bruised up and it looked like he was attacked by timberwolves!" says Twilight

"Oh no. alright then Twilight. I'll send a message to Luna." say Celestia

"Why, what for?" asks Twilight

"I'm taking him to the hospital in Canterlot. No offense, but there's only so much the Ponyville Hospital can do here." says Celestia.

"Can I at least come with you, Princess? I'm worried about him as well!" Twilight begs.

Without even saying a word, she gives Twilight an approval with a simple nod. Soon they both head to the dungeon to save the stallion.

"So that's what was going on. I guess I can't really hold it against Twilight for demanding me like that. I hope the guy's okay." says Spike as he heads back to do his daily chores.

Luna, who is out on the balcony, is looking over the city of Canterlot.

"I wonder if this somepony is going to be okay. They must've gotten hurt pretty badly." she says quietly to herself. Soon she recieves a letter from her sister. She unwraps the letter with her magic and reads it.

"To my sister Luna

I need to you make an emergency call to the Canterlot Hospital, I'm afraid my it's far worse then I thought. There's a stallion in the dungeon who's been attacked by timberwolves and is in need of some medical attention. Please hurry, we don't have much time left!

Your sister

Princess Celestia"

Without hesitating, she teleports to the hospital.

As Twilight and Celestia make their way into the dungeon, they spot 2 royal guards as they walk over seeing them stand guard in front of the cell door on each side. Celestia then gives them a look of anger and disappointment.

"Princess, what can we do you for?" They say in unison. Soon Celestia looked down on them and all too quickly...

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! IF A PONY IS INJURED YOU TAKE THEM TO A NEARBY HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT, BUT SEEING AS HOW YOU FAILED TO REALIZE THIS, I SEE NO REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T PUNISH YOU!!!" Celestia shouted, making the guards bend down

"A thousand apologies, Princess. But please hear us out." One guard says.

"The prisoner inside is to be considered dangerous, especially when we saw the beam of fire from the Everfree Forest. We had no choice, we thought he was an enemy." Says the other guard.

"Oh? Well did he fight against you?" She asked, still upset.

"No." the guards say

"Did he try to escape? Even if he was already captured?" She asks again

"No." the guards say with their heads down.

"Then release him at once! I will not let somepony suffer anymore than they already have!" Celestia says glaring at the guards.

"Y-Yes Princess" They say in unison as they unlock the cell door and open it.

Celestia looks inside only to feel her heart brake. She sees the white stallion covered in his own blood from the scratches, scrapes, bruises, and bite marks but still alive with his hooves way over his head as they dangle from the shackles above. Eternal then looks up all curious. This makes Celestia gasp, the guards soon unlock the shackles imprisoning his hooves and he soon falls to the ground shouting in pain.

"AAAAH!!!" shouts Eternal Flames.

Celestia rushed over and picks him up with her magic and lays him on top of her back. "You guards better hope he still makes it, or you will never be an honor guard AGAIN!" With that, she darts off, and Twilight follows her thinking to herself.

"What's going on with Princess Celestia? I've never seen her act like this? It's like she knows this guy. Either way, I hope he's able to make it out of this alright!"

Twilight and Celestia make it out of the dungeon and back into Ponyville. Eternal was still wounded and his breathing was feint. Luckily though, he was strong enough to endure the pain. As they reach Twilight's castle, they see an Ambulance pulling up so they rushed off towards it but made sure Eternal wasn't going to fall off.

"HEY! OVER HERE! THIS STALLION NEEDS HELP!" Twilight shouts to the paramedics.

They turn to see the Princesses and a badly bruised up stallion clinging on for dear life with his eyes tightly closed. Princess Celestia levitates the stallion onto the stretcher and the paramedics carry him into the back. Before they closed the doors, Eternal rose his head

"Thanks, you two" he says still weak and slowly lies his head down. The back doors close and the ambulance rushes back to Canterlot. Twilight looked at Princess Celestia all concerned. Celestia had started to shed some tears looking worried.

'Oh please be okay' Celestia thinks as she closes her eyes tightly slightly sobbing with her hooves covering her face.

Burning Secrets and a Royal Visit

After being saved by the princesses, Eternal Flames was rushed out of the ambulance and into the Canterlot Hospital still in a stretcher. Upon entering, his vision gets blurry with his eyes becoming heavy. Soon they completely close but not after catching a glimpse of a dark blue Pony with a midnight mane that looks like it's blowing in the wind. Princess Luna sees Eternal close his eyes, immediately beginning to worry for the young stallion's life. As Eternal is brought to the E.R and the doors close, Luna quickly walks over to the waiting room and outside the hospital to wait for Celestia to arrive. About 15 minutes later, Celestia arrives along with Twilight and head inside with Luna into the waiting room. Celestia sits down still quietly sobbing to herself with her hooves covering her face.

"My dear sister, what's the matter?" Luna asks a bit concerned as she sees her older sister crying. Celestia then takes one of her hooves away from her face and turns her eyes towards Luna.

"I can't tell you in here, I'll tell you when we're outside in private." She says trying to be ferm, even though she is still shedding tears. Luna nods as she and her sister walk outside. Celestia looks back at Twilight and tells her, "Let me know if he's okay and if he wakes up." Twilight nods and the moon and sun princesses fly above the hospital so that no pony can hear them.

"Now sister, why are you so upset? I've never seen you act this way before. Even when it was just any other pony, you'd keep yourself composed in situations like this." Luna implies.

"I know, Luna, but this is different. You might now know this but the stallion you might have seen in there is a relative of mine!" She says with her head leaning down, eyes closed and tears still fallling down.

"What?! He's related to you? How can that be? I thought you and I had only our parents Queen Galaxia and King Cosmos, as well as my son, Prince Blueblood! How is that stallion in there related to you?" Luna asks both concerned and worried. Celestia raises her head up and looks at Luna straight in the eyes.

"That stallion in there...*sniff*...he's actually my own son!" she says as she starts to cry even more. Luna becomes shocked after finding out that her own sister actually bared a son.

"Oh dear, I never knew, sister! But that means he's...MY nephew! Oh dear, I hope he makes it out okay. I never even knew his name!" Luna says, getting teared up and worried.

2 hours have passed since Eternal Flames was taken into the E.R. Twilight is still sitting in the waiting room feeling concerned for the princess and the stallion.

"I wonder if they're doing ok. He's been in there for 2 hours now and Princess Celestia must have a lot on her mind." She says quietly to herself.

"Excuse me, Princess Twilight." said the voice, making Twilight look up and see a doctor. "I need to see Luna and Celestia. I have some news about the patient they brought us."

"Oh, ok, I'll go get them as soon as possible." Twilight replied. She rushed outside only to hear Celestia and Luna from above. She saw them both crying over each other's shoulders. She soon flew up to them and told them that the doctor has some news about the stallion. They both got wide-eyed with tears running down their faces. But they soon flew down fast and rushed back into the hospital while Twilight followed.

"Doctor, please tell me, is the stallion ok?" Celestia asks all worried.

"Well there's good news and bad news." He tells them.

"Well let us hear the good news!" Celestia said.

"The operation.......was a success, he's making a full recovery. All he needs now is a little rest." The doctor says with a reassuring smile on his face. After hearing this, Celestia and Luna both gasped in happiness and both sighed in relief. As did Twilight who placed her hoof over her chest feeling relieved knowing that the stallion survived. But then the doctor's smile disappeared and told them of the bad news. "Unfortunetaly, because of the amount of blood he lost, acompanied with the bruises and bite marks, he's got 2 cracked ribs, bone fractures in his left hinde leg and front leg." Said the doctor. Soon after hearing this, all 3 princesses dropped their jaws shocked from how much the stallion went through.

"Is it alright if I go check up on him?" Celestia asks as she approaches the doctor still having a worried look on her face.

"Sure, he should be wide awake, although he's still a bit tired. So try not to ask too many questions, Princess." The doctor replies back. Celestia gives a simple nod. The doctor tells her which room he's in before she leaves to see him.

It only took 1 minute to find where the stallion was. Celestia then opened the door to see him in a state that really broke her heart. Eternal was lying on the hospital bed with an I.V attached to his right hoof. His face had a few bandages covering parts of his face. He had a cast on his left hinde leg, which was disinfected. But the rest of his body was hidden underneath the covers. At first he wasn't paying attention since he was reading a book while catching a glimpse outside the window every now and then. Celestia approached him all concerned. Eternal sees the Princess approach him.

"Oh, hi there. Sorry you had to see me this way. But I thank you for saving my life back there. If it wasn't for you and that purple alicorn, I'd probably be dead by now." He says calmly while looking down. Celestia gently puts her hoof under his chin raising his head up. Eternal could see the look of sadness in her eyes as she starts crying.

"I'm so sorry you went through all this pain and suffering." She says wrapping her hooves around him gently. As she does this, she starts sobbing. Unsure of why she's sad, he wraps his right hoof around her to help ease her pain. It was then that Eternal would start getting this idea in his head.

'Why do I feel like I've actually seen her somewhere before?' He thought to himself. As soon as they stop hugging each other they hear the doors opening as Celestia sees her sister walking in on them. Luna saw the state Eternal was in and was just as heartbroken as Celestia was.

"I hope you'll make a full recovery soon." Luna says gently petting Eternal's right cheek on his face. He turns his eyes away blushing a bit, but he wasn't smiling.

"Thanks, I appreciate your kind words, miss." he says calmly.

"Perhaps we should introduce ourselves. My name is Princess Luna, but you can just call me Luna."

Celestia stands up and wipes her tears. "My name is Princess Celestia, but you can call me m---" She stops herself hoping Eternal wasn't catching onto what she was about to say. "---just call me Celestia." Eternal raised one eyebrow all confused. But he shrugged it off lowered his head to them.

"My name is Eternal Flames, it's a pleasure to meet you both." Eternal extended his right hoof for a hoofshake with the princesses only to see them gently hug him. At first, he was a bit embarrassed but embraced it by attempting to wrap both hooves around them giving both princesses a hug. 'I wonder if dad and my brothers are doing ok.' He says in his mind.

"I just have one question for you." Princess Celestia says.

"Go ahead and ask me." Eternal says as they let go.

"Why did you travel through the Everfree Forest? You know there are dangerous predators in there. Yet you proceeded. Why?" She asks with a tear in her eye. Eternal gives a long sigh and looks up at her.

"I wanted to be able to get here as soon as possible. I was so eager to start my new life in a new town that I ended up trying to take a shortcut. But I realized it was a stupid decision. I realized I could've been killed." As he continues, Celestia starts crying again but she insists on letting Eternal continues. "I do apologize for making you worry. If I have to be punished after I get out of the hospital, I'll take it like a stallion." Eternal says looking at Princess Celestia. But instead of yelling at him, she gives him one last hug that felt like it was lasting forever which made him feel warm inside. He proceeded to hug her again closing his eyes. "I'm sorry, Celestia." he says softly.

The Burning Anger and Joy For Father and Son

After an hour of spending time with her son, Princess Celestia decided to head back to her castle with Luna behind her. Twilight went back to Ponyville to finish up some of her work in the library. Princess Celestia was sitting on her throne still thinking about her son. She then had a faint memory of her husband and decides to write a note to him since she still kept in contact with him even after she left the old kingdom.

"To Royal Blaze

If you're not too busy, I want you to come over here to Canterlot and bring everypony who's extremely close to Eternal Flames. He's in the Canterlot Hospital recovering from a nasty fight with timberwolves. He needs all the love and support he can get. I haven't told him that I'm his mother because I want it to be a surprise. So if you can drop on by, I'd really appreciate it dearly.

With that, Princess Celestia sends her note to her husband.

Many many miles in the far outskirts to the west of Equestria sits an enormus mountain called Rogue Mountain. At the very top of the mountain sits a palace with 50 rooms: 15 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, 5 dining rooms, 5 kitchens, 3 living rooms, a training room, and at the very top sits the Rogue Counseling Room. Outside, standing on top of the palace roof is an orange stallion with a red mane that was longer than Eternal Flames', he had blue sapphire eyes like Eternal and a cutie mark that displayed a yellow crown inside of a burning flame. Reaching the front and back of his eyes were his scar-like birthmarks.

As he stood above the palace, his oldest son, Blue Blaze, who had became an alicorn and had his corination just yesterday, was about to become the new king of Rogue Mountain. He had white fur and sapphire eyes like his father. He was 2 inches shorter than his father but 2 inches bigger than Eternal. His cutie mark displayed three small flames colored in blue. He had the same birthmark as his father, but it was in the front of his eyes. He had a mane that matched his eye color.

"It looks like another beautiful day, isn't it, father?" Blue Blaze says with a sincere smile. Royal Blaze looks down at his son with a smile of his own and a simple nod.

"You've grown so much, my son. Now your time has come to take your rightful place. I just wish your mother could be here to see this." Royal Blaze replies.

"I know dad, but even she has a responsability that she cannot ignore. So I fully understand the circumstances." Blue Blaze says with a smile with his eyes closed. It wasn't long until Heat Wave showed up and surprised Blue Blaze with a big bro hug. Heat Wave was the youngest of the 3 brothers, he had a light yellow fur coat, orange mane and eyes that were the same color as Princess Celestia's. He also had the scar-like birthmarks like his brothers and his dad, but it was above his eyes. His cutie mark was a burning flame that looked like it was moving at blazing speed.

"Congradulations, big guy! I bet you're pretty excited with becoming king! I wish Eternal could see this. He'd be so STOKED!!!" He says in excitement and joy. Blue Blaze gave a slight chuckle and hugged him back.

"Thanks bro, it means a lot to me. Why don't you go get Shadow Force, he's free to take a break from his work." Blue Blaze says.

"You got it!" Heat Wave replies sprinting inside the palace. Blue Blaze and his father start chuckling as they see him sprinting off.

"At times like these, I'm glad to see that you and your brothers have grown up so well." Royal Blaze says proudly.

Heat Wave is searching the palace from top to bottom trying to find Shadow Force. Suddenly he sees a trail of black mass leading straight into the kitchen. He walks in to see a stallion with red and green eyes with purple smoke coming out of both of them. He wasn't a unicorn but rather an earth pony. His mane was black, charcoal black. He was using his powers to fix a leaking pipe underneath the sink using a wrench, but he was holding the pipe steady with his hooves. He notices Heat Wave and turns to him. As soon as he saw him his eyes return to normal even though his eyes were naturally red.

"Did ya need something, Heat Wave? I'm almost done over here." he said.

"Shadow, there's no need to continue right now. My brother said you can take a break. It's almost time for him to take his rightful place as King of the Rogues. Come on!" Heat Wave replied all excited.

"Wait, I thought he already did that just yesterday." Shadow replied with a confused look on his face.

"No, that was just his alicorn coronation, which we had as a PRIVATE ceremony. We need to make a PUBLIC announcement for his "Crowning" ceremony which so happens to be today." He explains calmly with a smile.

"Well ok then. But when exactly does it start? If it's later on, I'll meet you when I'm finished. But if it's about to start now, I'll drop everything and head out there." Shadow explains.

"Of course it's starting now, now COME ON, MAN, we're gonna be late!" He exclaims excited and anxiously grabbing Shadow by the hoof.

"Okay, alright, take it easy!" Shadow replies as he is being dragged out of the kitchen by Heat Wave.

Outside, Royal Blaze was standing in front pretty much almost everypony in the kingdom, who were lined up in two thick vertical lines reaching 3 miles he watched as they were starting to cheer for their soon-to-be former King of the Rogues. He raises his right hoof signaling them to stop.

"To my fellow citizens of Rogue Mountain. It is with great joy and great sorrow when I say as your king, it is time for me to step down. You have given me so much in these past 30 years of when I was still your king. But now as I step off my throne, I will now leave my entire kingdom in the hooves of my oldest son, Blue Blaze!" He announces loudly, causing the citizens to cheer. He raised his right hoof again after ten seconds of cheering. "Now, my son, Blue Blaze. Please step forth!" He says loudly to his son who is in between the crowds at the far back.

Blue Blaze stepped forth on the red carpet while every pony watched as he made his way to his father and kneeled down.

"Blue Blaze, I now present to you this crown. The crown that now deems you "King of the Rogues." Royal Blaze says loudly as he places the crown on his son's head, causing the citizens to bow to him. "May you guide the kingdom to a bright and everlasting future. ALL HAIL KING BLUE BLAZE!" He shouts.

"ALL HAIL KING BLUE BLAZE!" the crowd shouts.

After the ceremony, and having a bite to eat, Blue Blaze went back home into his throne room and relaxed the rest of the night. Royal Blaze was in his bedroom looking outside the window feeling both proud and concerned for his son who had become king and his other son who left on his journey to start a new life. As he lays his head down about to close his eyes, but soon, a mist of magic appears into his room from outside his window. He sees it and it soon appears into the form of a letter.

'It looks like something important has come up. I wonder what news she has for me this time' He thinks to himself as he opens his note. He recognizes the letter from his wife. But as he gets further into the letter, he becomes worried and angry at the same time until finally

"ETERNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He shouts.

Farewell, Rogue Mountain

Royal Blaze is pacing the room worried about his son, Eternal Flames. Fearing the worst, he decides to pack up his stuff.

"I know Eternal is strong, but if he doesn't make it, I have to be by his side! Hold on, son, I'm coming!" He says to himself. As he's packing up he hears a knock on his door.

"Hey dad, what's the matter? Is it Eternal? What happened to him?" shouted Blue Blaze. Royal Blaze opened up the door and let him in, showing him the letter from Princess Celestia. "Oh no, dad, I have to go with you!" said Blue Blaze.

"No, you have a responsability here as the new king of Rogue Mountain. You mustn't neglect your duties!" said Royal Blaze with a stern look.

"Dad, you don't understand, if Eternal is hurt, I can't just sit hear and wait for a miracle to happen. He might die! I'll get Master Panja to watch over the kingdom, just please let me come with you! Eternal's my brother and I want to be by his side if he gets better or if he passes!" Blue Blaze says all worried with tears running down his eyes. After letting out a long sigh, Royal Blaze looks at him and nods.

"You'll have to bring Heat Wave along with us. He loves his older brother as much as you do." Royal Blaze says, making Blue Blaze nod. He soon walks out of the room. Royal Blaze continues to pack his bags trying not to think about Eternal's condition.

Blue Blaze wonders into Heat Wave's room where he's sleeping. Blue Blaze then shakes him left and right.

"Psst, hey, Heat Wave, wake up!" whispers Blue Blaze. Heat Wave groans as he wakes up with his eyes opening slowly.

"It's late, bro, I'm trying to sleep." Heat Wave says all cranky with a yawn.

"Heat Wave, you're going to have to come along with me and dad. It's an emergency." Blue Blaze says. After hearing that, Heat Wave's eyes are flung wide open.

"What, what happened?" Heat Wave says all worried.

Blue Blaze places his hoof next to Heat Wave,

"It's Eternal Flames, he's been hurt badly." Blue Blaze says. Heat Wave gasps

"WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED?! IS HE OK?!" He asks grabbing his older brother, swinging him back and forth. But then Blue Blaze stops him.

"I'm afraid he's in critical condition and he's in the Canterlot Hospital. All I can say is that he needs us." Blue Blaze says, making Heat Wave tear up. He lunges onto Blue Blaze hugging him tightly. Feeling his pain, Blue Blaze hugged him as well with tears in his eyes. Heat Wave began crying fearing that his older brother might not make it. Blue Blaze pushes him off a bit. "Come on, Heat Wave. We have to go. If you want to stay with him where he's at though, you'll have to pack your stuff." Blue Blaze says.

"Wait...you mean you're letting me move out? You're not gonna feel upset?" Heat Wave asks all surprised with tears in his eyes still.

"At your age, you're more than ready. Besides, you'll be able to see Eternal more often and I think you deserve it. You made our entire kingdom proud. Including me." Blue Blaze says. Heat Waves gives off a small smile and jumps out of bed getting his stuff packed.

After an hour, at the bottom of the kingdom, 8 stallions were standing in front of the gates leading to the outside world of Rogue Mountain. 5 of the stallions were Eternal's life long friends, Shadow Force, Tidal Wave, Spark Wave, Hurricane Blitz, and Ground Dasher. Tidal Wave had turqoise fur, black mane and brown eyes. Hurricane Blitz had minty green fur like Lyra and a silver spiky mane with brown eyes, Spark Wave had light yellow fur and a golden yellow spikey mane, his eyes were light blue. Ground Dasher had fur that was a mid tan color and brown mane, and his eyes were green like emeralds. Shadow Force looked like a younger version of King Sombra but much nicer.

"Now boys, the journey to Canterlot is going to be long. But luckily we have enough bits to last us for a whole week. Now come on. Eternal Flames is waiting for us!" Said Royal Blaze.

"RIGHT!" shouted the others. Royal Blaze signaled the guards on top of the gates to open it. With a nod, they rotated the lever clockwise causing the gates to rise. With one final sigh, the stallions, Royal Blaze, Blue Blaze, Heat Wave, Shadow Force, Tidal Wave, Hurricane Blitz, Spark Wave, and Ground Dasher set off on their long walk to Canterlot. None of them, except Blue Blaze looked back at their home as 7 of them knew they were never coming back. Soon Blue Blaze sees the gates close and he turns back around catching up with the others.

"Our prayers are with you, bro. We'll be there soon." Blue Blaze says to himself

Back in Canterlot, it was still night time. Luna had decided to try and see what Eternal was dreaming about. Only to discover something that no other pony has ever dreamt of. In his dreams, Luna saw Eternal as a young colt playing with a white lion cub. Luna smiled at the sight knowing that Eternal had a friend. But it all changed as she witnesses the skies turning red. Luna looked down and saw Eternal look towards his home. He dashed off towards the kingdom with an angry look on his face as he sees the dragons destroying towns and burning the villages down below.

"NO!!!" Eternal shouted as he sprinted faster towards them. His entire body engulfed in flames and soared high into the sky as he used the flames to glide.

"What kind of magic is this?" Luna asks herself. Luna then sees the citizens running and taking shelter in a nearby cavern. Now at the top Luna watches in shock as her nephew, Eternal Flames is charging straight at Torch, the former king of the dragons while Torch was blasting fire at Eternal. Eternal was moving straight forward at the flames as they collided with his own flames which were protecting him.

"I'M GONNA MAKE SURE YOU NEVER COME BACK YOU STUPID TYRANT!!!" shouted Eternal. Torch couldn't say anything as he was still shooting his flames at Eternal who broke through the attack and smashed into Torch causing Torch lose his balance in the air and slam straight onto the ground below. Eternal on the other hand had begun to fall as his powers had faded away. He felt like he was about to meet his fate and kept his eyes open ready to collide with the cold hard ground. Even though Eternal was still dreaming, she and Eternal felt like it was too real. So Luna flew towards Eternal with her hooves extending towards Eternal. But she felt herself slip away as she ended up in her room. Eternal however was still in the hospital, he had risen up gasping, still in a cold sweat.

"Ugh...I guess it was just a dream." Eternal soon laid back down staring at the ceiling. 'Get a hold of yourself, Eternal. The kingdom is finally peaceful again. We've finally made an alliance with the dragons.' He says in his thoughts. Soon he slowly closes his eyes and falls quietly back to sleep.

A Warm Family Reunion

5 days have passed since Eternal was attacked. Royal Blaze and the others had finally made it to Ponyville. At first, they were unaware of how they'll find Eternal. Twilight Sparkle soon spots the 8 stallions and walks towards them.

"Excuse me, are you guys looking for something?" She asks them, making them turn to her still confused.

"Well you see, we're looking for my son." Royal Blaze replies.

"Really? What does he look like, maybe I can help you find him." She says.

"Well, my son's name is Eternal Flames, he's got white fur, blue eyes with scar-like birthmarks under his eyes, and he has a red mane. His cutie mark is a yellow star inside of a burning flame." He explains. Twilight's eyes begin to shrink with her mouth hanging open. "What is it?" Royal Blaze asks concerned.

"I...I know him." She tells him with her head looking down. She explains what happened to him in full detail.

"They did WHAT?! WHY?! They could've killed him!" Royal Blaze shouts.

"I know, I know! But they acted on their own. But luckily he's being treated at Canterlot Hospital. He'll be out within 2 more days." Twilight says with a reassuring tone in her voice. Royal Blaze then feels a huge stone fall off his heart.

"Can to take us over to the hospital, please? I want to be by his side by the time he's ready to get out." Royal Blaze asks. Twilight nods and escorts the stallions over to Canterlot.

20 minutes later, Twilight leads the other stallions to the Canterlot Hospital. They all walk in only to see Princess Celestia and Princess Luna in the waiting room chatting with each other. Twilight waves at them to get their attention. Celestia sees Twilight and her eyes shrink seeing Royal Blaze. Royal Blaze reacts in the same way. Surprisingly as Royal Blaze and Celestia approached each other everybody else was shocked to think that they actually reached the same height.

'No way! I never knew this guy was as tall as Princess Celestia!' Twilight thought to herself.

"To think that after all these years you've grown so much." says Princess Celestia.

"Even after you took your leave, you still look as radiant and as beautiful as ever since I last saw you." Royal Blaze says. Then out of nowhere, they start to hug each other. Twilight along with the other stallion, except Blue Blaze, had their mouths hanging open. Blue Blaze looked at them with a warm smile and a chuckle.

"Um...Princess Celestia? What's going on? Do you know this stallion?" Twilight asks all confused. Celestia turns to Twilight with a warm smile on her face.

"Well I can say that he and I have known each other for a long time now, but I'd rather wait until he sees his son before I even tell you about our history together." Celestia replies. She then tells where Eternal is being treated. Royal Blaze guides his two sons with him to the room. Upon reaching the door, Royal Blaze opens it up to reveal his son, Eternal Flames, bandaged but looks like he's doing better. He didn't notice his father and brothers as he was reading a book on the judicial system.

"ETERNAL!!!" his brothers shouted, causing him to jump and his book to fall on the floor.

"Guys, did you have to shout so loud?" Eternal replies with his hoof over his chest

"Nice to see you too, bro." Blue Blaze says, gently wrapping his hooves around his brother. "You sure took a nasty beating, I'll give ya that. But at least you're still breathing." Blue Blaze said. Eternal then gave a chuckle

"I'll never make that mistake again, I can assure you that." Eternal replies wrapping his hoof around Blue Blaze.

"I thought I was gonna lose you, big bro!" Heat Wave shouted wrapping his hooves around Eternal crying softly. Eternal struggles to give him a hug with his left hoof even though it's still stinging.

"I'm sorry for making you worry, but you shouldn't be crying so much. You're almost an adult, kiddo." Eternal says "Although, judging by my condition, I say you have every right to let it all out." Eternal says closing his eyes wrapping his left hoof around Heat Wave. Royal Blaze then walks towards Eternal with a straight face looking straight at him. Eternal feels like his father is about to scold him but keeps his own straight face. His brothers then let go of him after they see their father.

"Boys, I'd like to speak to Eternal alone. Wait for me in the waiting room." Royal Blaze says.

"Okay dad." They both say in unison.

Family Gatherings & Proposal Repeat

Blue Blaze and Heat Wave headed outside into the waiting room. Royal Blaze approached Eternal with a stern look on his face while Eternal was looking back the same way.

"I know I made everypony worry about me and I wouldn't blame you for wanting to yell or scold at me. If I have to be punished for this then go ahead and say it." Eternal says calmly. Royal Blaze sighed and gently placed his hoof on his son's right cheek on his face.

"I can't punish you couple of reasons. One, you've endured the hardship of being in a dungeon while you were bruised and bleeding to death. Two, you're an adult and you were aware of your actions, but I never told you of the dangers of Everfree Forest. Finally, I think you've suffered enough as it is from my part." Royal Blaze explains. He then proceeds to hug Eternal gently so as to not hurt him. "I''m just glad you're making a full recovery. I thought I was going to lose you." Royal Blaze says.

"Thanks dad." Eternal replies back at his dad.

Royal Blaze then feels something tap his shoulder. He turns around and sees a nurse with the same eye and fur color as Eternal Flames but has a pink mane.

"Sir, visiting hours are almost up." she says, making Royal Blaze nod and turn to Eternal.

"I'll see you in 2 days when you get released from the hospital." He says to Eternal with a smile.

"Okay, bye dad." He replies before his dad disappears behind the doors. "Excuse me, could you get my book for me please? I accidentally dropped it when my brothers surprised me." He asks the nurse.

"Sure." She says with a chuckle picking it up and giving it to Eternal.

Meanwhile back in the waiting room. Royal Blaze had just returned with the others with a reassuring smile and looked at Celestia.

"So, how is Eternal doing, dad? Is he going to be ok?" Heat Wave asked.

"Yes, son, he'll be back on his hooves in 2 more days after all." Royal Blaze says hugging Heat Wave. The other stallions jumped up with joy knowing that Eternal would be back.

"So, can you tell us how you and Celestia know each other, sir?" Twilight asks, causing the other stallions, except for Blue Blaze's eyes to suddenly shrink.

"Wait, they what?!" Heat Wave asks in a surprised tone of voice.

"Well I suppose we might as well spill the beans." Celestia says walking up to Royal Blaze until she's standing next to him. Everybody else stood in front of the two tall ponies looking them straight in the eyes. "Now I'm going to get straight to the point. You see, Royal Blaze and I have a long history with each other. Back in his kingdom, Royal Blaze is my beloved husband and we have 3 sons."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!" they all shouted, except Blue Blaze. But soon the other ponies in the waiting room shushed them.

"Princess Celestia, are you serious?! This stallion is your husband?! But that means..." Twilight pauses in shock.

"You catch on quite fast, Twilight, was it?" Blue Blaze says with a smile. "I really missed you after these past 16 years...mother." Blue Blaze said casually like it was no big deal.

"I missed you too, Blue Blaze, my son." She says as she walks towards Blue Blaze giving him a hug.

"Wait! But if Celestia is dad's wife...t-that must mean...." Heat Wave pauses and gasps.

"I know you were only just a foal when I left...But I'm so glad to see how well you've grown up, Heat Wave. I'm so proud of you my son." Celestia says with a smile and tears in her eyes.

"M-MOM IT IS YOU!!" Heat Wave shouts and runs towards Celestia giving her a big hug.

He starts to cry after finally knowing who his mother really is. Celestia hugs him back holding him in her hooves.

"Why...why didn't you stay me, my dad and my brothers? I wanted to know what it was like to have a mom stay by my side." Heat Wave says sobbing in her hooves.

"Mother had responsabilities she couldn't ignore. When she was given the ok to leave the hospital, she left dad a note saying that she had her own kingdom to look after. With what dad told me, it had something to do with this..."Nightmare Moon prophecy." Blue Blaze explained.

"He's right, I had to leave for the sake of Equestria. But there were more dangers after that. But now that you're here, I can finally spend more time with you, my beloved son." Celestia says still hugging Heat Wave. After a few minutes, Celestia and Heat Wave finally break free of their great big lovable hug.

"Say, dad." said Blue Blaze.

"What is it, son?" Royal Blaze replies.

"Now that we're here, which hotel are we staying at? We don't have enough bits for anything too fancy." Blue Blaze asks. Royal Blaze then realize how is son makes a valid point.

"Nonsense. Since you've traveled so long, I think I'll let you all stay with me until we sort things out." Celestia says happily.

"That would be nice. But are you sure about that?" Royal Blaze asks.

"Of course, honey." Celestia replies. Royal Blaze then smiles and looks at her.

"Well, listen hun. Blue Blaze recently became king of Rogue Mountain and since I'm officially retired, I'd like to ask you one thing." says Royal Blaze. Not knowing what he's up to, Celestia nods and waits for what he has to say. "I know we're husband and wife, but that was in our secluded kingdom, which wasn't known to anypony outside. So...will you marry me...again?" Royal Blaze asks. Celestia's eyes then begin to shrink and then she lunges onto him with a hug and long, passionate kiss on the lips.

"Of course, honey!" She says happily with her eyes closed. Everybody in the waiting room started "awwing" at this sight.

Soon, Celestia gathered everybody who travel from their kingdom and teleported them to her castle while Twilight had decided to head back to Ponyville since she still had her duties as the Princess of Friendship. Now in the castle, Celestia decides to give the others a tour of her castle and shows them to their temporary guest rooms so they can finally rest up. However, with Royal Blaze, Princess Celestia brings him with her to her bedroom.

"Honey, are you sure it's ok with you for me to sleep in your bedroom?" Royal Blaze asks.

"Well we might not officially be husband and wife out here, but we are in Rogue Mountain. But I need to ask you something, too." Celestia says, all of a sudden.

"Alright then, what is it?" Royal Blaze asks lying on the bed

"Are you aware that Eternal had been through enough suffering as it is? He's been locked up in the dungeon chained against a stone wall, yet he endured it without complaining. I know he made a stupid decision but..." Celestia is then stopped by Royal Blaze who places his hoof onto her mouth.

"Now now, my dear. I think even he learned his lesson. I don't want to make it harder on the boy by punishing him anymore than what reality has thrown at him." Royal Blaze says reassuringly. Celestia then gets onto the bed hugging Royal Blaze.

"You know, I just realized something, honey." Celestia said still hugging him.

"What would that be?" He asks.

"I never told him that I'm his mom." She says with a chuckle pulling away from the hug.

"Well then, why don't we make it extra special when he gets out. He deserves it." Royal Blaze says with a smile as he covers himself under the blankets. Celestia does the same.

"Well...good night, honey." She says closing her eyes turning off the lights using her magic.

"Good night...hun." He says closing his eyes.

Start of a New Beginning

2 days later, Eternal Flames was released from the Canterlot Hospital with his body quickly regaining motion to the point where he can not only walk but run again. Blue Blaze had then left Canterlot in order to start his new life as King of the Rogues. It wasn't long until after he left that he met and fell in love with a beautiful mare named Crimson Ruby. After Eternal was released from the hospital, he was escorted back to Princess Celestia's castle by her guards by order of her. Eternal wasn't exactly sure why she wanted to see him, but he agreed to see her regardless of what she wanted or needed. The journey did not last long as he was now in her royal throne. Standing in front of him, to his surprise, was his father, Royal Blaze who was standing fairly close to Celestia who had a bright smile on her face. She signaled Eternal to approach her and he complied to her instructions.

"What exactly did you want to see me for, Celestia?" Eternal asked.

"That's PRINCESS Celestia to you!" said one of the guards.

"Now, now, it's ok, I'll let it slide for now. But Eternal, there's something your father and I wish to tell you." Celestia said. Eternal gave a simple nod listening to what they had to say.

"You see, son. Celestia and I have some history back when I was just starting out as the King of the Rogues." Royal Blaze said, looking at Celestia with a smile. Eternal Flames raised an eyebrow on his dad's statement and it wasn't until what Celestia said that finally made him get the picture.

"To be more clear, I'm actually the reason why you were brought to this world...my son." Celestia says

Eternal's eyes shrunk while his mouth hung wide open. He backed up a little still dumbfounded and surprised at what he just heard.

"Y-You mean....all this time...YOU were MY mom?!" Eternal said, shocked. Celestia gave a simple nod. However unlike Heat Wave, Eternal ran outside with disbelief in his eyes.

"Uh-oh, did I upset him?" Celestia asks Royal.

"He might be. But don't worry, I'll go talk to him." He says racing off to find him, only he didn't have to look far as he saw Eternal sitting under a tree with his back turned, shaking. It didn't take Royal Blaze any time to figure out how Eternal felt.

"I don't understand, dad." Eternal says with his back turn trying to hide his tears.

"Son, you must understa-" but he was soon cut off by his son's outburst.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT PRINCESS CELESTIA WAS MY REAL MOTHER?! YOU COULD'VE AT LEAST TOLD ME BACK HOME THAT SHE WAS HERE IN CANTERLOT!!!" he shouts.

"Yes, I know son, but you need to understand that she had her responsabilities that even she could not ignore." Royal Blaze says calmly. "I apologize for not telling you sooner. But you must understand something else." he says.

"Oh yeah? What would that be?" Eternal asks with tears in his eyes with a mad look on his face.

"Maybe I can explain it. You've been looking for answers to why I wasn't there, and why I had to leave." Celestia said, approaching her son.

Celestia soon explained everything about the events that went on throughout the years in perfect details which lasted almost half the day. But eventually Eternal had a more calmer look on his face but at the same time he felt regret for blaming his mother for leaving. He covered his face so that his parents wouldn't see him cry. Feeling his son's pain, Celestia then lean in and hugged him.

"I know I can't turn back the clock, my son. But all I want is for you to be happy. I'll do anything to make things right." she says with a tear in her eye. Eternal then pulled her in close and hugged her.

"I think I know how one thing that'll cheer him up." Royal Blaze says.

"What?" Eternal asks.

"You see son, since our marriage was unofficial in our "secluded" kingdom, I've asked for your mother's hoof in marriage...again. Only this time, it'll be official to everypony in the world near and far." Royal Blaze explains.

This statement brought a huge smile on Eternal's face as he hugged both of his parents.

"As long as you two stay together, that's all I could ever ask for!" he says as his tears finally fade away.

"Plus, to make it more interesting, I heard you wanted to start a new life here. So why don't you stay here in the castle with us?" Celestia asks her son.

"Oh...uh...I'm grateful for your offer, but there's something you need to know. You see, I wanted to move to Ponyville and probably start a new life there and live on my own. Don't get me wrong, I still love you guys, but I want to live in my own house. A house I want to build with my own hooves and find myself a decent job in Ponyville." Eternal explains.

"Well, you are a full grown stallion, so I respect your decision. Of course, I'd like to know if it's ok for me to visit every 2 weeks so I can hear some of your stories of you when you were growing up." Celestia says. Eternal nods and decides to walk to his new home, Ponyville.

"To think that in a matter of almost 2 weeks, I not only found my new place in Ponyville, but I finally get to spend time with my mother every now and then. I might have gotten off to a rocky start, but I can tell, this whole thing is going to be well worth it." Eternal says to himself in a calm tone.

During the first week, Eternal and his friends, along with his younger brother, Heat Wave, were almost finished with building their own house with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The only thing they have left to build is the roof. At the same time, all 7 of the stallions had started their own jobs. Hurricane Blitz had become a cook at the local Ponyville Hayburger joint where he usually saw Twilight stuffing her cute face with delicious hayburgers. Ground Dasher had gotten a job at Sweet Apple Acres bucking apple trees and feeding the barnyard animals. He already gained the trust of Applejack, Big Mac, Applebloom, and Granny Smith. Tidal Wave had finally pursued his career in Ponyville as a young prodigy medical doctor. Shadow Force had become a local family therapist who helped families and their living situations. Usually he does his work from home, but his sessions always seem to bring struggling families closer. Spark Wave had taken up the chance to work at the boutique with Rarity. But he only sees her as a friend and co-worker.

Eternal Flames had started his own combat class for young fillies and colts who have trouble standing up for themselves. With his lessons, he was able to guide a few of his students to the right path. With most of their bits going to the equiptment and supplies for their house roof, they had to cut back on some of their food supplies. Luckily, the locals of Ponyville were kind enough to lend them a helping hoof. It wasn't until 5 days later that all the hard work they put into finally finishing their house was complete. Outside, their house was a huge white building with brown trims. There was a 2nd floor that had 3 seperate balconies. Inside, the house had midnight blue carpets, with white walls and the living room was directly connected with the kitchen. There were stairs in on the right hand side of the house leading to a hallway where there were 3 rooms in the front and back of the house. All the rooms had different colors ironically matching mostly all of Eternal's friends along with his brother. Eternal and his friends finally made their way outside of their house with smiles in their eyes after all the hard work they put into their new house.

"You know guys...this could be the start of a new beginning." Eternal said

Birth of a new Prince

Three months have passed since Eternal Flames, along with his friends moved into Ponyville. During that time, Pinkie Pie had thrown him and his friends a big welcoming party. Eternal didn't really eat any sweets because he didn't have a sweet tooth, but if he did, he'd poor hot sauce on it to make it taste a bit better. While in Ponyville, Rarity had made his friends a few suits with the wedding coming soon. Eternal already had an outfit though but Rarity still made him a spare one. Applejack had helped out by offering a few apples to help satisfy their hunger when they were working on the house they were building. Of course Twilight and her friends also decided to have a nice and relaxing little picnic with the guys. They started talking about stuff that happened on their journeys.

"Wait, why would Aunt Luna do something like that? It just pains me up inside to think that her dark side "Nightmare Moon" had gotten her banished for 1000 years." Eternal says in shock.

"Yes, but she's better now, thanks to a little help from Twilight." Spike says.

"But it wasn't as easy as it sounds." Twilight says.

"Yeah, but anyhow, congrats on yer parents gettin' hitched. You should consider yerself lucky, Partner." Applejack says warmly.

"Thank you." Eternal says smiling to A.J.

"So what else happened here besides my family going through these heartbraking hardships?" Heat Wave asks.

"Well, my big brother, Shining Armor had once fallen under a spell of the changeling queen, Chrysalis during his wedding with Cadance." Twilight says.

"Yeah, but we kicked some real changeling flank! Well...with a little help from Cadance as well." Rainbow Dash says.

"OOH, OOH, OOH! There was also the time when we fought against this huge bully named Tirek who was taking the magic from everypony from all of Equestria! Mostly it was Twilight fighting him with her enhanced magic she got from the other princesses before Tirek got a chance to take it from them." Pinkie Pie said in a fast and hyper tone.

"Yes, yes, so what kind of adventures did you and your friends have where you kind stallions were at, darling?" Rarity asks.

"Well let's just say it was like trying to stay alive, Ms. Rarity" Tidal Wave said.

"Oh my, was it that bad?" Fluttershy asked in a soft and quiet tone with a hoof covering her mouth.

"To be specific, we had recent battles with the dragons during our teenage years." Shadow Force says frowning at the ground.

"They'd constantly invade our kingdom, turning our towns into rubble and burning our produce." says Ground Dasher before he takes a bite out of his apple.

"But wait, how can you guys take on dragons? They're bigger in size and strength!" Applejack says raising one of her eyebrows.

"Well, we've got certain powers that aren't known to a lot of outsiders. We got them at birth. But they're different elements from each other. It helped us keep our kingdom going." Eternal explains.

"What do you mean "powers"? You guys are all earth pony...oh but I don't mean any offense to that." Twilight says.

"No worries. But maybe it'd be easier if we just showed you." Eternal says as he and his friends stand on all fours.

"Um...ok?" Twilight says with a skeptic look. Soon, Eternal and his friends get some distance from each other. They all hold out one of their hooves and close their eyes, except for Ground Dasher, who was only keeping his eyes closed. What happens next catches Twilight and her friends by surprise as each of the guys shoot out each of the following. Hurricane Blitz shoots up a strong gusting wind, which soon takes the form of a hoof-held tornado. Ground Dasher opens his eyes and thrusts his hoof upwards like an uppercut and causes the ground below his hooves to extend upwards into a tall stalagmite, but soon makes it comes down bringing the ground back to its original form. Shadow Force blasts out dark aura from his hoof and makes it vanish. Tidal Wave summons a miniature tornado made of water in his hoof but soon makes it vanish. Spark Wave growls and starts channeling electricity around his body and forms a lightning sphere onto his hoof before making it explode over his head. Finally, Eternal and Heat Wave channel balls of fire onto each of their hooves soon forming them into the shapes of phoenixes and makes them vanish into the sky. After this is done, they all sit down and see the looks on the girls' faces. All of them had their jaws dropped.

"That...was...AWESOME!!!" Rainbow Dash shouts with amazement.

"Hmm, maybe...just maybe..." Twilight says to herself.

"Come now, Twilight, dear. Let's not get any ideas on your ridiculous experiments on these gentlemen, darling." Rarity says, looking at Twilight with a stern face. Twilight then soon blushes.

"Sorry." Twilight says. Heat Wave soon started to blush himself.

'Wow...I didn't notice it until now...but...when she blushes, she looks so cute.' Heat Wave thought to himself. Eternal and his friends soon explains the rest of what happened during the war against the dragons years ago. Eventually they started talking about their fair share of having battles with Tirek as well.

It was 8:00 A.M in the morning and Eternal had just woken up in his bed. He was still a bit tired as he looked out the window seeing the birds flying by and chirping away. He lets out a quiet yawn and rolls out of bed. He fixes his sheets and walks over to his brother, Heat Wave, on the other side of the room who was still sound asleep. Chuckling a bit at how peaceful he looked, he had to wake him up, which he hated to do.

"Hey, lil' bro. Come on, get up, today's the day." He says softly. Heat Wave lets out a yawn and slowly opens his eyes.

"What's going on? Didn't I already get my paycheck yesterday?" Heat Wave says softly.

"Come on, Heat Wave. The wedding is today. You gotta get ready quick if you want to see our parents get "officially" married." He says still shaking Heat Wave. Heat Wave then knocks his brother's hoof away.

"Alright alright, I get it, I'll get-" he then cuts himself off with a gasp. "OH NO, OH NO, OH NO!!!!! I DON'T HAVE MY SUIT! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO, BRO?!" He shouts jumping out of his bed, running around the room trying to find his suit.

"Would you calm down already? I had it washed last night so you can stop worrying about it. Now go get yourself cleaned up, and then come down and have breakfast." Eternal says. He then walks downstairs into the living room and walks towards the kitchen. Heat Wave is in the bathroom upstairs brushing his teeth and combing his mane. All the while he started thinking about how his parents are going to "officially" going to be husband and wife. At the same time, he noticed how much his older brother, Eternal, had changed. Back then he always saw him as a reckless fighter, soon turned into a proper gentlestallion. Soon he started thinking about Twilight, which made him blush a little bit as he was looking himself in the mirror finishing up with his teeth and mane.

'Maybe one day I'll ask Twilight if...no...she'd probably reject me.' Heat Wave thought to himself. But he started to wonder if Eternal had feelings for Twilight which made him feel like he shouldn't try to take his brother's happiness. Eternal was downstairs cooking up some pancakes for his brother, while he cooked himself some eggs and a side salad. He kept on thinking about how some of his friends, along with his brother, started acting rather different when they saw some of Twilight's friends, along with Twilight herself.

'I don't know if it's a stallion's intuition, but I'm starting to think Heat Wave has a crush on one of the girls.' Eternal thought to himself.

"Hey, is that pancakes I smell?" Heat Wave says. Eternal looks back and sees his brother with who has a bright smile with his mouth hanging open and teeth sparkling. He'd start to chuckle

"Yes bro, I made you some pancakes. So go ahead and grab a plate and I'll serve them up for you."

Twilight and her friends were in her castle talking about Celestia's wedding. The girls had a lot on their minds, mostly it was Twilight and Rarity out of the 6 girls.

"I'm so happy knowing that Princess Celestia is finally getting married." Twilight says.

"You mean "officially" get married, but yes I'm simply delighted about it as well. But I can't believe the princess has 3 sons. Even though her oldest son is planning a wedding of his own, I still think her other 2 sons are simply to die for." Rarity says with a giggle.

"Hey Twi." Applejack said. "What is it, AJ?" Twilight replies. "You should know that that Heat Wave feller was lookin' atcha with a rather peculiar type-a look on his face." Applejack says with a wink causing Twilight to blush for a bit.

"I...well he IS kind of sweet...but...I dunno." Twilight says as she looks away still blushing.

"Aww, don't be embarrassed about it Twilight, I'm sure he'd make such a SWEET and LOVING coltfriend." Pinkie says which makes the others giggle along with her.

"Not funny, Pinkie!" Twilight says turning to Pinkie with a cute mad look on her face.

2 hours later, the gangs make their way over to Canterlot at Princess Celestia's castle. Upon arriving, they noticed half of the citizens of Ponyville AND Canterlot all seated in and chatting with one another. Twilight could spot her brother and Cadance along with Flurry Heart at the front row. As usual, Shining Armor is bawling his eyes out, making Eternal raise an eyebrow

"Uh...ok? Is he always like this at weddings, Princess Cadance?" He asks.

"Yeah, but I've gotten use to it." She replies with a slight chuckle.

"Ok then, I'm going to go check on my dad and see how he's doing." Eternal says walking towards the dressing rooms. "Hey guys, could you make sure my brother doesn't leave your sights? I won't be long." Eternal says looking back at his friends. They all nodded and soon he continues to walk over to the dressing room and notices his father fully dressed and ready to go. "Well, don't you look 10 years younger." Eternal says, making his dad jump. He gives a chuckle.

"I think you just scared a few years outta me, you little rascal." Royal Blaze says to his son.

"It's a pretty packed up house in there. You and mom ready for this?" Eternal asks.

"Of course I am, son. This wasn't the first time I had to get married, but I have a feeling this'll be my last one." Royal Blaze says. "Hey, it's almost time so could you wait outside with your brother?" He asks. With a simple nod, Eternal took his leave and finally takes his seat in the front row with his friends. 15 minutes go by and soon Royal Blaze arrives at the altar while Octavia and her orchestra start playing the wedding song. At the same time the cutie mark crusaders start spreading flower petals along the red carpet and finally not long after, everypony sees Princess Celestia walking down in her beautiful wedding dress.

"She's so beautiful." Heat Wave says quietly to his brother.

"Yes, I know." Eternal replies quietly to his brother. Celestia then arrives in front of Royal Blaze and they start smiling at each other. As Princess Luna helps Royal Blaze and Princess Celestia swear their vows, she finally says "I now pronounce this couple husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." Soon Royal Blaze lifts Celestia's veil over her head and gives her a passionate kiss. The crowd starts cheering while Eternal Flames just smiles proudly at his parents knowing that their finally "officially" married as they put it. Later after the wedding, everypony gathers at the ballroom.

"Attention everypony." She says. "I can't tell you all how happy I am to know that my husband and I are going to rule side by side along with my sister as well. I think I speak for all of you that today will be the start of brand new beginnings. Now, I'd like my son, Eternal Flames to step up here for a second." Eternal raises an eyebrow wondering what she's talking about but he just walked up to her. "Eternal Flames, what I'm about to give you is probably gonna be both a great accomplishment in your life and a step forward into your life. Please kneel, my son." Celestia says proudly. Eternal Flames decides to do what she says and kneels down in front of her. "Eternal Flames, as the Princess of Equestria, I hearby dub you, now and forever, the Prince of Equestria!" Celestia says proudly causing Eternal's eyes to shoot wide open. He was just given a title even more serious, yet honorable than being the "Prince of the Rogues" from his old kingdom. Trying to keep his composure, Eternal stands up and looks at his mother.

"Thank you, mother. I am honored. I'll be sure to hold this title with honor, dignity, and responsability." Eternal Flames says proudly. Soon everypony started cheering and Heat Wave jumped at his brother giving him a big ol' bear hug. Eternal hugs him back. Pretty soon Twilight and her friends, along with Eternal's friends start gathering around for a group hug.

"THREE CHEERS FOR NEW THE PRINCE OF EQUESTRIA!" Shadow Force shouted.

"HIP HIP..."

"HOORAY!!!"

"HIP HIP..."

"HOORAY!!!"

"HIP HIP..."

"HOORAY!!!"

Everypony cheer alongside with them for their new prince.

'At least now...my goals of becoming the strongest guardian Equestria will at least be much more meaningful and quite honorable at the same time, too. Mother...Father...brothers, and all my friends. Thank you all so much' Eternal says proudly in his mind as he looks at his friends and beloved family.
