Bulking
New Normal
Previous ChapterBig Mac helped Thunder get his clothes back on, as reeking of musk as they were. Squeezing him back through the front door Thunder lazily wrapped a swollen arm around his friend and began to speak,
"You were right! I don't miss being scrawny at all. However, even with three kegs of shake in me I am starving. Want to go hit a buffet with me?"
If Thunder had been able to bend his neck he might have seen the tent in Mac's workout shorts, but instead all he did was hear the large stallion say, "I-I could eat. I d-don't think that buffet would want us coming back and the only other one is across town. It'd be closed by the time we waddled you there."
Thunder laughed, "Think I can still fly?"
Big Mac began to open his mouth but Thunder had already lifted him up and held him bridal style; resting him atop his belly. Powerful back muscles, as swaddled in rolling hills of fat as they were, flexed and Thunder saw that his wingspan stretched a good thirty feet across, more like an albatross than the hawk-like set he once sported, With one powerful flex of his shoulders and pectorals, he launched himself into the air. Pegasi wings rely on magic as much as physics and are undersized anyway. His stayed proportionate so he could still at least get off the ground.
Big Mac was yelling at an octave he had not achieved since he was a foal, "AAAAAAAAAHHHHH I'M AN EARTH PONY SO PUT ME BACK ON THE EARTH. YOU'VE GONE MAD, HOW ARE YOU EVEN FLYING AAAAAUUUAAAAAAAAAH"
Thunder just let him get it all out. Honestly, nestled in his giant arms and between his pillowy pecs even if they fell he had about a 50/50 chance of getting a soft landing or being crushed. Eventually he had stopped his screaming and just lay there speechless as they flew.
Thoughtlessly he muttered, "You're comfy."
He then blushed and looked at Thunder who just chuckled, "I bet I am. I think my wings are holding up well as long as I glide. Every flap is like a set at the barbells. There's one concern."
Big Mac's expression went from embarrassed to terrified, blush receding into a paling behind his red coat.
"Concern? There should be no concerns a hundred feet off the ground. How long do I have to live? Is there time to pray before I hit the ground?"
Thunder gave him a look, then continued, "No, nothing like that. It's just an observation. My wings looked very hawk-like before, good at acrobatics and such. The closest to a bird they are now is an albatross. I just remembered a vital fact about albatrosses."
Big mac gulped loud enough to be heard over the rushing wind, "Y-yes?"
Thunder said, "They always crash land. Well, let's test this out?"
With that he pulled into a descent, Big Mac screeching like a filly in a room of spiders. Thunder tried to pull up like normal, but the force almost ripped his wings off so he had to close them. He braced his legs and as the hit the ground he just skidded for about forty feet, his feet drawing a thick trench in the dirt road. Ponies ran out of the way of the wrecking ball that was Thunderlane and one particular merchant had to leap out of the way, choosing between his life or his cabbages.
Upon coming to a stop Big Mac was still screaming at the top of his lungs. He then stopped, looked at his surroundings, patted himself down for injury, and said, "Put. Me. Down."
Thunder, on the other hand, could not stop laughing.
"HAHHhuHAAAAA...You should have seen the look on your face, you big baby!"
"WE ALMOST DIED THUNDER!!!"
Thunder set Big Mac down and shrugged, "Almost being the operative word."
Big Mac grunted, "Bird brains and your obsession with defying gravity, safety, and common sense."
Thunder pushed his belly into Big Mac and said, "Want to say that again, tiny?"
Big Mac suddenly felt very, very small, his confused boner unable to tell if he should be aroused again or maintain a flaccid terror.
Thunder burst out laughing again, "HUAAHAHAHOOOO, come on man, I'm not going to rough you up like Caramel. You've been a great friend, lets get some grub."
Big Mac was relieved for a second before realizing he was actually disappointed. Thunder wrapped an arm around him and they walked in through the wider double doors of the buffet. A bored cashier looked up from his book and leapt back.
"ACK, The rumors were true!"
He then ran behind a kitchen door and yelled some things before coming back to his seat and saying through a strained smile, sweating,
"Oh, um, what can I do for you...Gentlecolts...this evening?"
Big Mac said, "Dinner, lots of it."
He dropped a similar sized bag of bits as the previous night.
Thunder inquired, "How come a farmer can afford to spend money like this?"
Big Mac smirked and said, "Monopoly on a common good is nice."
As they walked into the buffet proper they saw new trays of food were already being put out by staff as if it was a dinner rush at only 3:00 in the afternoon. Thunder couldn't help but grin. His reputation proceeded him it seemed. Taking place at a big bench that groaned and bent at his weight, he put his hands on his belly and said,
"Well, I'm waiting?"
Instead of complaining Big Mac just ran to the food like his life depended on it. Funny, he was trying to get a rise out of him by being bossy. Maybe he still feels guilty for last night? He came back with several trays of food and Thunder just gorged as heartily as he had before; the key difference being that he could enjoy it this time. Juicy burgers and thick steaks and the most creamy mashed potatoes he had ever eaten. It seems his good's were not the only parts of him that were more sensitive. Everything tasted better than it had any right to being a small town buffet. Managing a semblance of manners he merely got juice and crumbs around his lips instead of drenching himself. Big Mac didn't even stop to get himself food, just ferrying Thunder's meal to him diligently and without word, a goofy smile on his face. Thunder wondered if he looked that goofy when he first grew...why would big mac be having that reaction to feeding him? Eh, unimportant. This brisket however was an immediate priority.
Already the staff have had to start refilling some of the food bins, but Thunder's gut just swelled and stretched to accommodate his meal, already sticking a foot out farther in all directions that it had before. Still somewhat bouncy, it nonetheless turned just a little pink at his navel. Big Mac seemed intent on repeating last night's venture because he just kept on bringing more food with a skip in his step and a smile on his face. If only Thunder's range of vision could extend past his pecs; Big Mac's dick had finally decided on "Happiest day of it's life". Other customers were slightly disgusted by the display of gluttony and the outline of Big Mac's schlong, but otherwise went about their meal without complaint. Thunder was starting to breathe heavily, his chest rising and falling like the equatorial tide. Still, any food brought in front of him he happily consumed, the flavors almost orgasmic in themselves.
Big Mac had started poking Thunder's belly each trip from the bins to check how full he was...amongst other reasons. Two hours into their meal Thunder's belly had stretched out another foot in all directions. Now measuring almost seven feet across, his belabored breathing had caused him to start sweating again. BIg Mac came back with another tray of food then stopped in his tracks, smile turning to a frown.
"Goddammit I overdid it."
He started to walk away with the tray but Thunder reached out and burped loudly, apparently not wanting Big Mac to take the food away.
Big mac said, "You sure buddy? You look like you could pop."
Thunder wordlessly smiled and nodded, still wheezing slightly. He pointed towards his mouth.
Big Mac almost came right there but held off and walked over and hand fed the tray of barbecue chicken wings to his hulking friend. Once they were done the bench beneathe Thunder creaked loudly before it crashed. The resulting boom knocked tables over and caused others to lose balance. Laying there like a beached whale, he just smiled widely; at peace with himself and the world.
Big Mac helped him up and together they started the long trek back home. Big Mac helped him keep his belly steady as he belched and burped with every step, groaning happily and the waddled back. All in all it took most of the day with several rests to get him back to his house. Then another fifteen minutes to squeeze him through his front door. That would have to get fixed. Thunder just laid down on the ground, not even thinking of using the stairs to get to his bed.
He said, "Thanks buddy...huff...best...UURRRAAP...Day...wheeze...ever..."
Big Mac smiled and started to leave before Thunder continued,
"See...huff...you at...pool...tomorrow?"
