Dusty Tome, a unicorn stallion with a talent for Learning, attends Sparkle's School for Gifted Students in Canterlot. He gets good grades, exercises every now and then to stay in shape, and gets along well enough with his fellow students. So far he has lived a fulfilling life, and while nothing's perfect he has a gut feeling that everything is turning out fine!

His gut is wrong.

The School will soon be plunged into chaos, and solving the mystery behind it is the key to saving Equestria from its dark future. Will he and his friends be able to stop the mastermind's plot, or will the kingdom as they know it all come crashing down around them?
