Chapter 3: Flying down

Silver Spoon waited near her family’s private jet, a comfortable twin engine turbo jet that her Father often used for short ranged travel. Her Mother and Father had already left in the business jet an hour ago and now she was waiting around for Mirror’s taxi to arrive. And Mirror was an hour late. As she waited in the cold air, Silver’s mind raced. Mirror was late, and furthermore she hadn’t given a proper answer as to whether she was going or not.

Normally Mirror wasn’t exactly clear on details regardless of the situation, but this was different. Silver had to know if Mirror was coming, she had to make sure her plan was working. Otherwise, the possibility existed that Mirror wasn’t up to par. Regardless of this rinkle, Silver was proud of everything else. She had managed to book a reservation at the Resort, aptly named Lunar Skies paradise resort, and the threat of the nor’easter had shut the entire school district down until January the 11th. So if nothing else, Silver had at least a week to get away from everything.

But whether she was going to get away from it all with Mirror was another story. Last time they hung out, Mirror seemed slightly distant but Silver chopped that up to Mirror being distracted with her english paper. Still a week away with her girlfriend, especially during Hearth’s Warming. If nothing else…

A hard gust of ice cold wind blew across the bundled up Silver as she stood on the tarmac, forcing her to visibly shake. Her pilot noticed her discomfort, “Ma’am if you wish you may step inside and I’ll close the door. You’ll be warmer in there.”

“Thank you Harold,” Silver answered, “But I’ll wait a little while longer. How much more time do we have before this monster arrives?”

“Another hour or so before we’re grounded for the next five days.” Harold responded.

And that was a bad omen too, as dark foreboding clouds loomed on the horizon to the north. Silver grew worried, “Maybe she’s not coming. I knew it…”

Just then a car horn drew her attention. And a yellow taxi raced up to the plane.

Mirror stepped out looking like a complete mess, her ponytail had stray strands of hair coming out of it. “So sorry! I only just managed to get out of the house. It’s a bit crazy there right now. I’m so, so, so sorry!” For once, Mirror’s amber eyes looked slightly crazed, alit with panic.

Silver sighed, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, “Well the important thing is you made it.”

“Yeah. I only have… This one… Suitcase,” panted Mirror, heaving it out of the taxi. “Why don’t we board before it’s too late?”

Silver giggled, “Alright let’s climb aboard.”

“And not a moment too soon,” Harold said coming down to pick up Mirror’s suitcase.

“Thanks. Again I’m so sorry!” Mirror followed Silver up onto the plane.

Silver smiled, “I’m just glad you’re here.” She then presented the interior of the private plane. It was nothing special just a lavish white interior with two swivel chairs opposite a small table and a circular lounge couch near the rear of the plane. It also came equipped with a lavatory and a small bathroom with a shower. Silver turned to her friend as Harold’s copilot closed the door, “So what kept you?”

“I’ll tell you once we’re off the ground,” dodged Mirror, taking a brush out of the small backpack she had brought onto the plane with her. Brushing her hair, she looked at Silver. “I thought you were going to leave without me,” she admitted.

“Well the weather was looking a bit serious,” Silver admitted as she sat down in a chair. The engines of the plane began to whine loudly as the pilots prepared for taxi, “But I wasn’t going to leave until I was sure there was no hope for you.”

“Thanks for that,” Mirror replied, a bit distracted as she pulled her hair into a fresh, new, nearly perfect ponytail.

“No problem, you might wanna sit down we’re taxing to the runway.” Silver answered.

As if on cue, Harold chimed in from the cockpit, “Attention passengers I have now received clearance for take off. Please strap yourselves in.”

Silver nodded, sat down at one of the chairs in front of the table, and buckled up, “Come on dear you’d best sit.”

Mirror nodded and slid into her seat opposite Silver. “Does this plane have WiFi? I know, I’m sorry, you and me time. It’s just that I do have one thing I’ve got to do before I turn off my phone.”

Silver nodded, “Don’t worry we do, just don’t use it until Harold gives us clearance to do so.”

“I know. I’m waiting for when we’re in the all clear. So this flight is how long? An hour? Forty five minutes?”

Silver looked towards the cockpit as the plane turned onto the ramp, “Harold’s usually good at making time and plus we’ve got a tail wind so it should be a good hour before we land.”

“Oh, good.” Mirror sounded relieved. Then she sighed. “Silver… Has Diamond contacted you recently?”

Silver leaned back, giving Mirror a quizzical look. Why would she care so much about Diamond? Silver though, “Not recently, why?”

Mirror shrugged. “Just wondering.”

“Why, you think she’ll capture pictures of us once we get to the airport down in Blacksburg.” Silver asked.

“No, I was just wondering.”

Silver smirked as the plane rocketed down the runway, “Don’t worry Mirror, Diamond’s held up on some stupid safari trip out in Zebraca. When she goes out there she’s unreachable for the next month. I think she has some boy toy out there she goes to ride when she’s feeling lonely.”

Mirror shook her head. “I pity that poor boy… Anyways, have you seen the CMC recently? I mean, I haven’t and it’s a bit odd. Like, I’ll always see them walking past or something.”

“I think they’re hunkering down for the snow.” Silver answered. Just then the plane nosed up and lifted sharply off the runway. Silver felt the g-force nearly pull her out of her chair as the plane sharpy rose up and then banked right. Her heart nearly jumped into her throat but she soon settled down as she felt the landing gear lift up.

“And we are airborne,” Harold said, “Sorry about the sharpness but tower wanted us off the runway quickly.”

“No problem Harold,” Silver sighed. Then she looked back at Mirror, who seemed comfortable, “Well it seems that we’re airborne. You wanna tell me why you were late?”

“My parents told me no,” Mirror replied with a sigh of her own. “So I snuck off. They wanted me home because my grandparents, both sets mind you, are coming in. And they don’t… Get along. So here I am! And it’s not even like I came to get out of it. I found out yesterday that they were coming. And I was joining you no matter what anyhow.”

Silver looked at Mirror with slight shock on her face. Either one of two things were happening, either Mirror was lying and trying to create a sympathetic story to get Silver’s trust and favor. Or Mirror was telling the truth and doing something no other person had ever done for Silver. While her head wanted to believe the former, her heart clung hard to the latter and that made her cheeks go red. She sighed slightly, “Thanks Mirror.”

Mirror replied with a small grin. “No problem.”

A warm smile flashed over Silver’s face, “So I take it they didn’t buy your cover story, or did you tell them the truth?”

“I told them that it was just a winter resort. They didn’t want me without any adults and wanted my grandparents to see me. So yes, they didn’t buy the cover story as well as the whole grandparent thing.”

Silver giggled as the plane continued to climb, “Well you got Ice covering for you?”

“Yeah. He’s a great older brother.” Mirror looked out her window.

Silver grimaced, “I got that read when I met him.”

A moment later, Harold evened the climb out from a sharp climb to one more gentle, “Attention madam and Mirror, we’ve reached a comfortable altitude so I’m evening out the climb. With that I now have turned off the seatbelt sign you are now free to roam about the cabin. Also Wifi is now available to all those who need it.”

Mirror quickly whipped out her phone and texted her parents a quick ‘sorry’ and her older brother a short ‘thank you’. “So,” she said to Silver, shutting off her phone. “What are going to do to cover up about an hour and a half of time?”

Silver sighed as she leaned back in her chair, “I haven’t the slightest idea.”

“So no board games… I did bring a travel sized scrabble, but we should use a hard surface. I mean, if you want to play scrabble.”

Silver sighed, Mirror did always seem to enjoy playing board games. And usually Silver would jump at the opportunity, but right now she wasn’t that keen on doing so. Really she just wanted to relax, and she was sure that Mirror felt the same, “I’m not really in the mood honey, what about we watch some TV until I feel up to it?”

“Sure. You can pick the show. It’s your plane after all.”

Silver smiled as she got up, pulled off her heavy coat and left in on the chair, and walked over to the circular couch to sit down. She pulled out the remote and turned the TV on, “Okay then, but I do have a request. Come snuggle?” She wasn’t sure if she was asking as a test, or if she genuinely asking. Either way, she wanted Mirror’s closeness.

“Sure,” smiled Mirror. “I’ll just get my Finding Nemo blanket.”

“You packed that thing?” Silver giggled, “Such a nerd.”

“Hey, childhood memories here,” retorted Mirror, giggling herself as she grabbed her warm, fuzzy blanket. “Besides,” she said, sitting down, throwing the blanket over them, “it was a gift from Ice Shield. My only gift of when he went to Matterhorn Land.”

Silver snuggled close with Mirror as they both lay under the blanket, “My first gift from Matterhorn was a pair of black mouse ears. Still think I have those things.”

Snuggling back, Mirror laughed softly. “I think you’d look adorkable in ‘those things’. Now what are we watching? Anything but zombie movies. I can’t stand blood,” she shuddered.

“Oh wonderful, because I think I just found a good TV series we can watch. How about Orleans?”

“No idea what that is. Sure! Let’s watch it,” giggled Mirror, snuggling closer to Silver.

Silver wrapped her arm around Mirror and pulled her close, “Okay.” And there the two sat, wrapped up in each other’s warm as the plane flew on its journey. All the while Silver wondered about Mirror. She was so affectionate and so passionate, was she really so fake? Silver couldn’t be sure right now, but she knew that the resort would help her figure it out for sure. She turned to Mirror, who seemed to be very comfortable and nearly asleep. Mirror looked so cute and comfortable lying on Silver, it was almost as if she was a plushie Silver was holding to keep herself company in the most darkest of nights.

Kissing Mirror on the head Silver whispered, “I love you Mirror.”

* * *

About an hour later, the plane landed safely in the southern state of Equestria, and Silver and Mirror disembarked to a radically different climate. Canterlot, and by extension Ponyville, was bitter cold and frigid. Blacksburg on the other hand was warm and humid. Thankfully both Silver and Mirror had light clothes under their winter gear, so there was no problem. The personal car Silver had arranged picked them up at the airport and drove them towards the resort. And true to Silver’s word, this place was out in the country.

The car would exit one town, and into field after field of open grass or corn fields. Silver was actually shocked herself how far out of town they had been. But she was doing this for the betterment of herself and her relationship with Mirror. Mirror herself was wondering just how it was so warm here. She knew there were places like this, but never visited them. So this was a new adjustment. She stole a look at Silver, who seemed to be gazing off. Her butterflies came back, bubbling up from minor to major. Mirror knew that Silver had to be genuine, but her mind wouldn’t quite telling her there was something off. Mirror had always followed her heart, but this thought was reconstructing again and again. Wasn’t that a sign that she should listen? But what would that mean for her relationship with Silver, all that possible wasted time, energy and feelings. The sacrifices she had made and the connections she forged, the status she had taken.

Soon enough the car turned off the main road and onto a side road that lead through a forest. Both Silver and Mirror seemed off put by the ominous, almost scary scene. But soon enough the forest cleared and they reached the front gates. A large sign saying “Lunar Skies Resort.” greeted them there.

Silver turned to Mirror and reached into her pocket, “Here take this.”

“Why? What is it,” Mirror asked Silver.

“Our forged ID cards.” Silver answered pulling out two cards.

“Oh, right. That.” Mirror couldn’t help but have her disappointment show, she hated the fact that they had to lie in order to get in, but more than that she didn’t like lying to the authorities and definitely when they could potentially be put in juvenile jail. Reaching out her aqua colored hand, Mirror accepted her false ID.

“I hope you like the name I picked for you,” Silver told Mirror.

Mirror looked down and studied her fake ID card. Her name was now Melody Gold, age eighteen and seven months. A plastic strip ran across the back of the card along with a barcode and a series of numbers. For all intensive purposes it looked like a real ID.

“So what’s your new name and age,” Mirror asked. “I love mine, so yours must be really good! Are you also eighteen?”

“Shining Star,” Silver Spoon answered, “Eighteen and three months.”

“You made me older than you,” commented Mirror drily. “I mean it doesn’t make sense since you look older then me.” Raising one eyebrow high up to her forehead, Mirror stared at Silver quizzically.

“Well only by a few months nothing to fear.” Silver said as she reached behind her head and pulled out the pins in her famous braided ponytail. Her long silver hair finally flowing free, Silver shook her head a bit to free all of the once braided hair, “I’m also going to keep my hair down for this place.”

The driver turned back to the girls, “Ladies we’ve reached the gate.”

Silver nodded, “Very well you may take us in at your leisure.”

The driver nodded and the car drove up towards the gate. In no time it opened up and revealed the resort inside. As the car drove down the gravel road towards the office building, both Mirror and Silver got a good look at the resort. While it looked very modern it still carried the rural camp feel Silver had hoped this place would be. But what took her by surprise was the sight of a large indoor club that was situated right next to the pool.

“Do you think I should take down my hair? I mean, your hair is really pretty down, but should I take mine down? You know, to do away with the normal routine?” Mirror asked.

Silver looked her girlfriend over, “Your call really, I think you look pretty either way.”

“I think I’ll take it down, I normally have it up to cool off anyways,” Mirror explained.

Silver giggled as the car drove up to the front office building, “Mirror I feel I should remind you we’re going to be naked for about a week, I don’t think we need to worry about tying our hair up to keep cool.”

As if to accentuate her point, a naked couple exited the office building and climbed into a golf cart parked onto the side of the building. Silver flashed Mirror a smile as she exited the car, “Come on Melody, time to check in.”

Shaking her head, Mirror let down her hair and followed Silver, or Shining as she was now known as. As they jogged up the front steps and into the lobby. A staff member was seated behind a large desk that nearly reached Silver’s and Melody’s shoulders.

When she spotted the duo she gave a warm smile, “Welcome to Lunar Skies, are you two checking in?”

Silver nodded, “Yes we are, we have a reservation.”

“I see, under what name?” she answered.

“Gold and Star,” Silver responded.

The girl nodded and went silent for a moment. Mirror took the opportunity to look around. She then noticed a map of the facility plastered on the wall behind the desk. The complex looked like it was built in the shape of a wheel with the club and pool complex in the center. To the north was the forest trails as well as the camping center that led to a distant river. To the west was the sports complexes. And to the east was the many cabins and rooms for the guests to stay as well as homes for those who lived here for the rest of their lives.

Mirror leaned over to Silver, “This seems rather big. Anyways where are we living for the next week?”

The woman answered, “You two look like you both have a reservation for a room. That’ll be over in our residential area and don’t worry it has a built in bathroom and shower.”

“That’s fine, thank you.” Silver said, “Anything else you need?”

“Yes your ID’s please.” she asked.

Mirror and Silver handed over their ID’s to which the woman reviewed them. A moment later she handed them back and smiled, “Okay Miss Gold and Miss Star we hope you enjoy your stay here.” They both nodded and turned to leave when the woman stood up, “Would you like one of our camp aids to take you over to your cabin?”

“That’d be wonderful thank you.” Silver answered, “We’ve got luggage will that be a problem?”

“Not at all, our carts can carry them.” She responded.

Silver opened the door for Mirror and they exited, “Alrighty then, so far so good.”

“Yes. By the way I was wondering, Shining if we could go swimming first? You know, after we unpack?” Mirror put heavy emphasis on Shining, trying to ask Silver if they should talk to each other with their false names. Not only that, but she really did want to swim first.

And Silver understood why. The sun was rather intense and the humidity was already making the duo sweat as they transferred their luggage from the car to a golf cart. Plus she was almost sure of her plan, use the fake names while they were out in public yet once they were in private they could use their real names.

“That's not a bad idea Melody,” Silver answered, “Though I would like to walk around this place at some point.”

“So would I,” agreed Mirror, “but I’ve been dying to swimming since summer vacation ended. You know how I am… I take to the water like a fish.”

“Yet you’re not keen on swimming without trunks?” Silver teased.

“Oh please,” Mirror said, rolling her eyes. “I can’t stand feeling the water rushing around… Certain areas. Besides, I like wearing bikinis.”

“Well you always make bikini’s look good. I’m just gonna find it funny that you’ll be wearing clothes at a nudist resort.” Silver smiled, reaching her arm around Mirror’s shoulders, “That’ll be one for the books.”

“Fine, laugh it up all you like,” Mirror retorted playfully. “I can always take it off if I want to.”

“Well no one here would think little of you if you intend to do otherwise,” A voice said from behind the building. Silver and Mirror turned to see a tall man with brown skin and a bald head walking up. And much like all the other residents here except for the two girls, he was naked. “I take it you two are our new arrivals? Please to meet you I’m Terran Wolf,” he introduced.

Mirror blinked, then quickly replied, “Hi I’m Mi...Melody Gold and this is Shining Star.” Gesturing to Silver, Terran Wolf nodded.

“Um….yes!” Silver said, “pleasure to meet you.”

“Are you two staying in a cabin?” Terran asked.

Silver nodded, “Yes, I believe she gave us Cabin one.”

Terran nodded, “No problem, hop on and I’ll take you over. Would you two like the guided tour after you unpack?”

“No, thank you though,” Mirror quickly replied. “We were thinking of going swimming in the outdoor pool after we unpack. It’s rather hot today, so it’ll be great to cool off.”

Terran nodded, “No problem.” He then looked over the girls luggage, which was resting on the back of the golf cart, “This is yours?”

Silver nodded, “Yessir,”

“Alright hop in ladies.” he smiled and climbed in, “I can fit you both up front.”

Silver and Mirror nodded and hopped in. A moment later Terran started the cart and they were off.

“So… What sort of rules are there, in specifics for the nature walks,” Mirror asked.

“Well let me answer that question with one of my own,” Terran nodded, “Have you two ever been to a nudist resort before?”

“Not really,” Silver answered, “But we frequent nudist parties at home.”

“Okay well I’m sure you’re aware of the basic rules regarding Naturism so I don’t think I need to repeat. To answer your question Melody, rule number one on the nature walk is stay close to the trail, we wouldn’t want you wandering off into the woods and getting lost.” Terran answered, “Second rule is, try not to feed or interact with the local wildlife, they may look cute but some creatures can be deadly.”

“That I know,” commented Mirror dryly. “My little brother could vouch for that.”

Silver glanced over at Mirror and leaned in towards her ear, “I didn’t know that.”

“Know what,” whispered Mirror back.

“You’re younger brother was attacked by wildlife.” Silver responded.

“No, no, no. It was a joke, ya ding-dong,” laughed Mirror good naturedly. “I was saying that my Indigo Rush is the cute but deadly animal.” Then Mirror burst out into a fit of giggles. “Oh stardust, you didn’t really think?” Then Mirror laughed again.

Silver Spoon blushed, “Oh sorry.”

Terran pretended not to notice, “So what brought you two here?”

Silver composed herself and shifted her glasses, “Well bad winter weather back home.”

“Ah, snowbirds. Well any reason is a good reason in my book!” Terran laughed as he turned a corner.

Silver nodded quietly as she looked around from the center seat. The cabins and houses were all one story and a little small to her eyes. Then again she was always used to mansions, so anything smaller than a three story house was going to be tiny for her. Yet, for all their lack of size, she found the houses very...homey and relaxing. Maybe this was what it was like for those without millions of bits to their name. She then looked over at Mirror, wondering if she felt the same.

Mirror was in awe of the fact that the cabins were so big. Now, it wasn’t that they were big, as houses they would be cramp. But this was perfect sized. The buildings though were surrounded by nudist, all wearing their birthday-suits. Not surprising to as the day was beautiful, people couldn’t be asked to avoid a day like this. While she had been expecting it, she was shocked at just how comfortable they looked. Yet she felt like the odd one out, wearing her clothes and all. So she was relieved to reach Cabin One.

“Here you girls go,” Terran said warmly.

Silver smiled as she looked at the Cabin. Much like the rest of the cabins it was rather small, having only one window to it’s credit. The front door even had a set of wooden steps leading up to it. The color was also very plain, a simple greyish white color with nothing specific to it’s name. Yet, for the next couple of days, this was going to be where she and Mirror stayed. But what was even more surprising was where Cabin one was placed: it was right next to the border of the resort, and it looked out into a very vast and thick forest.

“Thank you Terran,” Silver answered sincerely.

“You two are welcome,” he said, handing over two keys to the cabin, both were thankfully attached to stretchy-bands, “Here are your keys, keep them with you at all times. Do you need help carrying your luggage up?”

“No, I think we’re good, right Shining?”

Silver nodded, “Thank you Terran, I hope we’ll see you around here.”

“Oh I’m sure you will, I’m the camp’s maintenance man. I’m one of the most visible people here.” he smiled.

Silver giggled and pulled the girls luggage off the cart, “Well that’ll be good to know.”

With that Terran sped off.

Waving goodbye to Terran, Mirror sighed, “Come on, let’s go get unpacked. I cannot wait to jump into the pool.”

Silver rolled her eyes with a smile. Part of her was cautious about Mirror’s sudden urge to be in the pool, as it was probably the most populated area today. But Mirror did have a point, it was hot and she loved the water. So with a smile, she lifted her two cases of luggage and walked up the steps. Mirror, having only one case of luggage, used her free hand to unlock the cabin for the duo. When they walked in, they entered into a small front foyer that actually had two doors for it. The door on their left had the number two on it, while the right one had the number one.

“Oh it’s actually two cabins,” Silver commented, “Didn’t know that. Well let’s take a look at room one.”

Mirror nodded. “You really don’t mind swimming first?”

Silver shook her head, “But like I said, at some point I wouldn’t mind looking around this place.”

Nodding her head in agreement, Mirror went and unlocked the rooms door. When the duo walked in, they were instantly greeted with the sight of a small refrigerator located near the door. Thankful the fridge was far enough back from the door’s swing as to not get in the way. Walking in, Silver and Mirror looked over the room. It was a small room, no bigger than the living room in Mirror’s house or the study in Silver’s mansion. The walls were made of a thick mahogany wood which was accented with one picture of a setting sun over a lake. In the far back on the right side of the girls was a door that lead to the bathroom, which Silver had the best view of. It had a large sit down tub, small sink, and decent sized toilet. The room looked very clean with it’s aqua blue walls that almost matched Mirror’s skin color.

Shifting her gaze back into the room, Silver saw a small TV set placed on the wall next to them. Beneath the TV was a small couch able to fit one person. Next to that was a small coffee table, complete with a k-cup brewer and a full set list of k-cups to create coffee. But there was one, very shocking thing about the room. It was dominated by one large, king sized bed.

“Wow… One bed. Should we check the other room,” asked Mirror, amber eyes slightly round.

Silver’s eyes were equally wide, “Uh...I’m not really sure. I mean…” Silver was slightly flabbergasted at the situation, “I mean….it would be rude to ask.

“Would it? I doubt they’d want the two of us sleeping in the same bed if we don’t want to,” pointed out Mirror. “You payed, so you get to ask. It’s not a demand, it’s question.”

Silver looked over at Mirror, “While I’m not saying you’re wrong, I do wonder...if they don’t have another...would you...you know?”

Mirror gazed blankly at a very flustered Silver. “What?”

Silver stammered, her face turning red slightly, “Share...the...bed…?”

“Share the bed,” repeated Mirror, finally dawning upon her why Silver was so flustered. “I suppose we could. Good thing we both packed PJ’s, huh?” Mirror herself though felt extremely awkward and wished Silver hadn’t implied what Mirror thought she did.

Silver rubbed her shoulder, “Uhh...well i kinda...didn’t. Nudist resort and all, I wanted to be in the spirit of things.”

“Oh… I did.” Mirror had packed a few extra things just in case, and she was fortunate she was such a good packer or else she may had needed to bring another suitcase with her.

Silver rubbed her shoulder, “Well there is the couch there, if you would like to take it, I’m sure that’ll be okay.” Silver pouted slightly.

“And, may I ask, why I’m the one taking the couch? Why can’t we switch on and off,” Mirror asked, although she knew what the answer would be.

Silver shook her hands defensively, “Oh no, no I wouldn’t mind switching….It’s just I guessed that if we were going to spend this time together...we would… you know...sleep together. Not doing anything naughty! But…I thought we could...snuggle each other to sleep like real couples.” She rubbed her right arm again and turned away from Mirror, her face now beat red, “But if you’re uncomfortable I understand, I don’t want to force you into anything.”

Mirror shrugged. “Maybe in a few nights.” Mirror’s mind was struggling with inner conflict. She had just ran away from home to spend time with Silver but at the same time she just needed some space for a night or two to come to terms with what she did.

Silver nodded and turned around, “Okay then, how about I take the couch for the first night?”

“Okay, thank you Silver. I’m sorry, it’s just I kinda dropped the holidays with my family for you… You get it, right,” Mirror asked anxiously.

At first, Silver wasn’t sure. Diamond would never have even attempted something like this. Diamond would never have even thought of it. Yet here Mirror was doing just that. And Silver felt her heart beat heavily, unsure if it was because of love for Mirror, or concern that she was once again having her emotions played on. Mirror meanwhile, stood there looking at Silver with her own heart pounding. She gave up a lot for this trip, more so than she had ever before for anyone outside her immediate family. And yet, it seemed to her that it did little to afflict Silver’s attitude. She seemed, at least to Mirror, upset over Mirror’s actions.

Yet, Silver acted on instinct here and embraced Mirror in a tight hug. Mirror had done a great deed, maybe just maybe she was sincere. Silver couldn’t be sure, but right now she needed someone to hold.

As Mirror returned the hug, she whispered into Silver’s ear. “Thank you.”

Silver took a deep breath, “No, thank you.”

Mirror look that Silver questioningly, “Why? Whatever for?”

“For being my Girl,” Silver smiled.

“Well then I should be thanking you for the same thing, After all, it has to go both ways,” Mirror replied.

“That’s true,” Silver said, letting go of Mirror, “So, Melody Gold I think you wanted to go for a swim?”

“That would be correct,” laughed Mirror softly.

“Well then, why don’t we unpack, get comfortable, and head over?” Silver asked.

“Sounds like a plan,” agreed Mirror, who reached for her suitcase.

Silver giggled, “So what bikini you gonna take?”

“I’m going to take my dark midnight blue set. I’ll be putting it on there. Also, do you need a pair of goggles? I brought two.”

Silver giggled again as she placed her luggage next to left side of the bed. “Ooh your midnight set, I always did love you in that one. So very sexy.” she said seductively.

Mirror laughed, rolling her eyes. “We’re in a resort for nudists. I don’t think you can get more sexy then that.”

“Well if you and I get naked we might,” Silver giggled, “Come on let’s get ready for the pool, I pulled out my sunscreen.”

“Okay, Ms. Star. Let’s proceed,” giggled Mirror, finally ready to seize her time at the Lunar Resorts.
