chapter número uno

Hello, you are known as "The Human" or, Anon, if you will...A great deal has happened while you've been in Equestria. You have helped the main six, you've also helped the princesses with some of your knowledge in politics...and you've also bought a house with the bits you've collected over the month...Ahh...good to be you...that is, until you realize the house you got was rumored to be haunted, and before you could try to get your bits back it was already going though to the mare who sells houses... ¨Now...where did I put those damn keys? I had them somewhere...¨

You check to see if it´s in your back pocket, not there, you suppose...Your front pocket? No...not there, either...how about your man pouch? No? Hmm...Maybe it could be...ah! There it was! Sitting beneath your shoes, is the key...you must've dropped them. Anyways, you go into the large house, and settle down... ¨Now, to just relax on the couch...¨ Before you could get some shut eye, however- a cold feeling surrounds you, and you realize you have no blanket... ¨God, dammit it..now I have to get up, and walk to the closet...and...¨

As you walk to the closet gowning to yourself, you notice something off...The chair you had sitting at the table was now upside down near the cabinet...¨Huh..Weird...I guess?¨ You decide to leave it there, to pick it up in the mourning. Now that you have your blanket, you set it on your lovely one sided couch, get undressed, and go to bed.

--A few hours later--

You try to swish some spit in your mouth, nothing. You can't sleep, and worst of all you thirst...You need some cold water down your throat, ASAP. Great. The next best thing is taking a piss in the night...Welp, better get it over with. As usual, you get up and get a glass of water, no big right? Wrong. You hear some movement down the hall...like, a BIG kinda movement..You put down your water and get in a fighting stance. Good thing Applebloom taught you how to use Karate, with a little help from Rainbow Dash. Anyways, you move down the hall with your PJs intact, and take around the corner aaaand! Nothing.

It´s nothing. noda, nope, nothing. "Musta just been paranoid." You thought, taking this as a chance to sleep, you go ahead and get back into bed. As you rustle into bed, you feel the cold on your arm again...even though you have a very warm blanket Grandma Smith gave to you in the last winter wrap up. You decide to try to sleep and ignore it, but it just keeps going...and you hear spooky (Scary skeletons~) sounds coming from..somewhere?! ¨What´s going on?!¨ you blurt out, thinking this is only a dream...but your illusion is shattered when you hear a female voice in your whispering in your ear.

"Hey!~" The female voice echos, You get up in a rush to see who it is, and you find a little ghost pony! huh...a real...incorporeal pony. The legends are true..Who would've thought. "...What are you doing in my house?" You ask. "Well, I've been here for over a thousand years...so.." She trails off, then looks to you. "...and...and I'm just so lonely...I noticed you where here...wait...why are you here, Mr. Human?"As you role your eyes in annoyance, You shake off the cold feeling, and try to take what's happening. You try to answer the ghost before you. "Well...I had recently bought this house, and now i'm living in it. Why are YOU in this house?" That seems to got her attention, but ignores your question. This is why you don't like ponies. "Mister Human? Do you want to play?"

You don't have time for this, your so sleepy you'd sleep on a bed made of nails. "Look...not right now. I have work in the morning, and I need some shut eye. So, can you wait?" You say, trying not to sound annoyed.(I mean, this ghost is like a little kid, after all. You don't want to scare it....Ironically.) The ghost nods her head rapidly, and excitedly bouncing around, she says: "OH! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" You stare at her, trying to signal that you need sleep. "Oh! Right..Sorrrryyy~!" As she says the last word of her apology, she slides through the ground and disappears. Finally, some shut eye.

Your head hurts. God damn does your head hurt. You couldn't get even an hour of shut eye, and when you did it felt as though you where sleeping under a rock. You get up and do your mourning routine, and go out on your day, getting coffee on your way....Then the ghost pone stops you at the door, with little puppy dog eyes. "Mister Human? Where are ya going?" She asks. "I'm going to work." you say as you pass right through her from the doorway. "Well, make sure you remember your promise!! I NEVER forget a promise! I hope you don't either!" "Trust me, I know what it's like to break a promise..." You shiver at your memory of breaking a 'Pinkie Promise' for the very first time...You'll never forget that day...

You arrive at work at around 7:15, and check in. You never thought you'd be working with Rainbow Dash at her Gym, and despite her tomboyish attitude she's pretty nice and really gets where you're coming from... She´s one of the only ponies that you can really talk to, despite her consent ego getting in the way. "Oh hey, Anon! How are ya?" Rainbow Dash says, from the pulley cloud. "Eh. It´s fine. Hold on for a sec." You walk over to the locker room and undress and put on your gym clothes. You then get onto the cloud pulley, and reply to Rainbow Dash. "I recently bought a house down by sugar cube corner." Rainbow Dash looks over in interest. "Is it that one that was supposedly abandoned? The one we use for scaring the Fillies?"

You nod. "Eyup. It´s not all that bad, all you need is a broom and a vacuum!" Rainbow starts to snicker, and you as well. You both eventually laugh out loud. "Oh, ok..! I see, I see. Well, besides being the next ghost buster; what´s your plan for a job? You could help me out at the gym, ya know." You shake your head. "Nah. I already got a job at sugar cube corner. But I could work here part time on the weekends. How ´bout that?" "Deal." You give each other a hoof-to-fist pound it, and get up from the workout cloud. You return home, after buying yourself a water to cool yourself down.
