Twilight was reading a book one day as she was finished with her errands with her boots removed as she sat barefoot. She was relaxing after a long day of running the library.
She smelt herself and noticed she was dirty. She went to the bathroom and stared at the shower in contemplation. This was the worst part of every day. She hated water it absolutely terrified her. She had aqua phobia and the only people who knew were her friends and her sister but nobody else as they would ridicule her.
For most people showers were relaxing but not for her. She stared at her shower as her hands shook violently. She tried to relax by taking a few breathes. She slowly reached out for the handle to turn on the water but drew her and back and walked away quickly to calm herself. She took another few deep breaths and went for the handle but started to shake violently as she started to cry from fear.
She pulled away and sobbed. She was never going to take a shower at this point unless she got some help. She started to sob. She needed somebody close. Somebody who has seen her naked before in a locker room She dialed for Rarity and told her to come over when Rarity arrived Rarity saw that Twilight was crying while hugging her legs.
"Twilight? What's wrong?" Rarity asked concerned in a soft voice. She felt sad that her friend was upset she went over and knelt by her while rubbing her back.
"I'm scared! I can't wash myself!" Twilight sobbed. Rarity hugged her.
"It's alright sweetie were you going to?" She asked.
"Yes! But it's terrifying!" Twilight cried. Twilight sobbed loudly and Rarity rubbed Twilights back to soothe her. Rarity felt horrible for her friend. Hearing Twilight cry made her feel upset.
"You must think I'm stupid!" Twilight cried.
"Never! You are not stupid. It's alright to be scared Twilight. You just have to overcome it." Rarity said softly.
"How?! I can't take a shower! Let alone by myself! I'm not going in there!" Twilight cried. Twilight heaved as heavy sobs escaped from her. Rarity thought on what to do to help Twilight.
"What about if I stand here as you take a shower?" Rarity asked.
"That would embarrass you! You wouldn't want to do that!" Twilight cried.
"No it wouldn't. What's so embarrassing about nudity?" Rarity asked smiling. Twilight looked at her.
"But wouldn't it be embarrassing to see your best friend naked!?" Twilight cried. Rarity rolled her eyes.
"Twilight? Do you know how many times I been in a locker room visiting my school pool?" Rarity asked rolling her eyes. Twilight nodded still shaking.
"It won't be embarrassing. I want to help you get over this! The only way I can do that is to get in there with you! If you don't want to do that then I won't force you but it would help if I was there to help you stay calm." Rarity said. Twilight understood what Rarity was saying.
"Do you think you can help me?" Twilight asked as Rarity rubbed her back to soother her.
"I can! I'll get in there with you. We are both girls! Are you sure you would be fine with that? We don't have to do that if your not comfortable!" Rarity asked. Twilight thought about what Rarity said and she knew that Rarity had a good point. Twilight nodded and spoke.
"Yes please get in with me!" Twilight pleaded. Rarity hugged Twilight to soothe her. Twilight was still very nervous.
"I'm so scared! But I need this!" Twilight declared.
"It's going to be okay Twilight you can do this!" Rarity said. They then broke away from the hug and Rarity spoke.
"Your gonna have to take your clothes off." Rarity said. Twilight spoke.
"Rarity can I ask you something?" Twilight asked.
"Sure." Rarity said starting to undress.
"When we get in there you won't touch my privates without consent right?" Twilight asked nervously. Rarity stood there in her bra and jeans and was shocked.
"Of coarse not! I would never do that to anybody without their consent! I'm not going to touch your private areas Twilight! I'm just going to wash myself while you wash yourself so you can get over your fear! I promise Twilight!" Rarity exclaimed. Twilight relaxed as she felt stupid asking that knowing Rarity wasn't like that.
"I'm sorry I thought that. I don't know why I thought that." Twilight apologized.
"It's okay Twilight! Cmon lets get in." Rarity said. They took off the rest of their clothes and soon they were standing there naked. Twilight blushed and Rarity smiled. Rarity stepped in the shower and extended a hand to Twilight for Twilight to come into the shower.
"C'mon! It's alright! Don't be shy!" Rarity said. Twilight blushed.
"Umm...your naked!" Twilight stated. Rarity giggled.
"No really I didn't notice!" Rarity sarcastically joked. Twilight giggled a little. Rarity kept her hand extended. Twilight hesitated.
"Hop in Twilight it will be okay!" Rarity encouraged. Twilight gulped and then grabbed Rarities hand and then held it as she stepped in slowly. As soon as she was in she took a few deep breathes as Rarity closed the curtain gently. Rarity then brushed some hair out of Twilights face lovingly.
"Are you ready Twilight?" Rarity asked softly.
"It's not going to be scalding hot is it?" Twilight asked.
"Of coarse not! I'm going to make sure it's warm enough so that we won't get cold but not so hot that it burns us." Rarity said. Twilight nodded.
"It's going to be okay Twilight." Rarity said gently. Twilight nodded taking a few deep breathes.
"Thank you for this I truly appreciate it!" Twilight said.
"That's okay. I hope this will help." Rarity said smiling and rubbing Twilights shoulder.
"Do you mind doing this?" Twilight asked
"Of coarse not! Are you ready?" Rarity asked. Twilight took a deep breath.
"I am. Turn it on Ill manage it." Twilight said. Rarity gave Twilights shoulder a reassuring squeeze and turned it on to make it warm and comfortable. Twilight gasped but Rarity smiled and kissed Twilights forehead. Rarity got some shampoo and gave some to Twilight.
"Gonna wash?" Rarity asked. Twilight nodded shyly but smiled. Twilight smiled and put some shampoo in her hair and washed her hair. Rarity washed her hair and smiled at Twilight as she stepped back to give Twilight some room. After Twilight washed her hair she closed her eyes and washed the shampoo out. Rarity also washed the shampoo out of her hair and they washed their chests and arms while getting their legs and face and then their private parts.
Twilight blushed but washed her privates gently while Rarity paid attention to her private area as well. And then finally they washed their backs with the long scrub brushes. After that they hugged while staying under the water. Twilight then realized that she was not afraid of water anymore.
"Rarity! I'm not afraid of water anymore." Twilight said. Rarity kissed her cheek as they hugged eachother while the water streamed over the bodies as they relaxed under the shower.
"That's great Twilight! See it worked! Alls you need was comfort and encouragement!" Rarity stated smiling. Twilight rested her head against Rarity's chest as they both stood under the shower as they let the water wash over their bodies. The water was so calming. Twilight began to love this feeling. She was going to make sure to take more showers more often from now on.
Rarity turned the water off and pulled the curtain to the side and stepped out and then extended her hand to her and Twilight took a hold of her hand and then Twilight stepped out.
"Thank you so much for helping me! It's not embarrassing any more either!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Your welcome Twilight! We are both girls and being naked is purely natural! I'm glad your not fearful of water anymore." Rarity said happily.
"Nope not anymore! It felt wonderful!" Twilight exclaimed.
"That's great Twilight! It feels great to me as well!" Rarity said.
"Thanks so much Rarity I'm happy that you helped me as well!" Twilight exclaimed. Rarity smiled and Twilight giggled. They then grabbed towels and dried themselves. After that they got out of the shower, threw there dirty clothes in the hamper and then got dressed. Twilight never feared water again as Twilight was so glad to have a friend like Rarity.
