when a mare leaves

As they all got off the train, it was dark, no pony was around and all they could hear were the slight breezes passing by their ears until Rarity spoke up. “I understand that no one wants to speak right now, the situation is ever so devastating, but we need to work out living arrangements immediately, we can't let Spike be banished to the dragon lands”
“Rarity’s right ya’ll, if we don’t figure this out now we’re gonna be in more trouble than pig to slaughter” Apple Jack agreed with one of her usual country sayings.
“well...Spike where would you like to stay” when the words left Fluttershy’s mouth everyone looked at Spike expectantly.
“ I...I just wanna be alone for a while” Spike forced out, still showing his sadness.
“ well you have to stay with someone silly, or else the princess will have to kick you out of ponyville, then we’ll never see you again, then we’ll all be sad, and you’ll be lonely and we don’t want that.” pinkie said rushing the words as they left her mouth.
“How about he stays with Rarity for the first week? He seems to be happiest around her, and I think spike needs some serious cheering up.” Rainbow said slightly hovering in the air. Dash’s comment made Spike blush slightly, but it was well hidden behind his sad expression.
“Well, i’d be fine with such arrangements. What about you spike, would you be fine with staying with me for the first week?” the white unicorn asked with an elegant manor.
“ well sure, but i’d have to pack my...my” Spike’s eyes turned white as he passed out and hit the ground, the last thing he heard were the screams of the girls.

“Spike...Spike...Spike” a strange and faint voice said from all around him as Spike awoke in a plane white room.
“Where am I?” Spike said groggily as he sat up, his eyes still a glowing white.
“You will ask no questions, for I am here to give you answers” the voice said in an unfamiliar voice, yet Spike still felt connected to it in a strange way.
“Listen, um I don't know who you are or what you want but--”
“SILENCE” at this Spike shut his mouth so fast he bit his tongue. “You have the key, it lies inside you, you are the only one who can save equestria, you don't have a lot of time, just a few months before everything is gone, the key lies within trust, you must have the emotional and physical trust of these specific mares.” Just then seven mares’ pictures appeared in front of him: Rainbow dash, Applejack, fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Luna and Celestia.
“Wh-what? I already have their trust” spike stuttered out still in total surprise of the images.
“ you still need their physical trust, a trust at which they will allow their physical bodies to you.” the voice spoke in it’s normal calm manor.
“Wait, what do you me…” it took Spike a good 30 seconds before he came to an extreme realization. “ YOU WANT ME TO SLEEP WITH THEM?” the dragon basically screamed.
“You catch on quick, now remember, you have little time, I will help you when my help is needed.” the room around spike started fading away. “I can no longer explain much more, remember if you fail, all your loved ones will die.” that was the last thing spike heard before the room was gone, and he passed out.

Spike woke up on a familiar red couch, his eyes back to their normal shade of lime green. He sat up scratching his head looking at the familiar surroundings, he was in Carousel Boutique. Spike stood and walked toward the door, only for it to open up quickly knocking him onto his back.

“Oh, sorry sugar cube, we just had to get these here, bags in” AJ said as she held the door for Rarity who was levitating three bags with a her magic as she trotted through the door.

“Oh, Spikey you're awake, could you help me with your bags?” the unicorn said with a smile.

“of course Rarity” Spike said standing as he grabbed two of the bags from the air and they lost their aura surrounding them.

Rarity smiled and looked Spike. “Get ready for a week of fabulous”
Later that night spike slept on the couch downstairs but he couldn't sleep, he had to much to worry about. “ i’ve gotta sleep with my closest friends, let’s see how this works out.”
