Prologue
*Eight Months After Super X Fight*
It was a cold day in Canterlot City, and Rainbow Dash was happily sleeping in bed at her simple home at the edge of town near the Everfree Forest at the edge of the ocean. She was all warm under her thick blanket covers in sweatpants and a white tank top that was way too small for her. Snuggled up against her, Adagio slept peacefully resting her head against Rainbow’s forehead. It was now eight months after Adagio’s father Godzilla had fought both Helechos and the G-Force in the Super-X and emerged victorious.
Shortly after the fight Adagio had a long talk to rainbow Dash about what they were going to do with the new powers the former Rainboom had. At first Rainbow said it was going to interesting and Adagio, not paying attention to the tone Rainbow said that in didn’t think twice about it.
Suddenly the town was talking about a blue rainbow haired dragon flying around Canterlot City, and terrorizing Trixie to the point she went crying to Maud and Limestone about the, ‘terrifying monster that was harassing her’. Adagio found out a few days later that Rainbow was the culprit and gave the woman a stern lecture about abusing power for childish purposes. Of course, Sonata and Aria were there to give their two cents in the conversation. Primarily, to jab at the irony that Adagio was lecturing Rainbow about power abuse when said siren did so herself for hundreds of years.
Afterwards Rainbow had made an extensive series of apologies to Trixie, while being blocked by Maud and Limestone. After several attempts to appease them and Trixie the now semi-famous magician accepted Rainbow Dash’s apology and the two became friends once again, though Trixie wouldn't admit it, she was still butt hurt from the Battle of the Bands.
Now, Adagio and Rainbow live together in Rainbow’s home lazily sleeping the day away together. That is until a loud obnoxious knocking come from the door.
*BANG BANG BANG*
“DAGIIII!!!!”
“WAKEUP!!”
Two high pitched shrieking voices called through the entire house.
Adagio and Rainbow both groaned under the covers. Adagio was the first to get up. She tried to wriggle from under the covers as more knocks came from the door and she accidentally flopped face first to the floor. Rainbow winced under the covers as Adagio let out a most undignified colorful metaphor. Rainbow poked her head from under the covers to see Adagio clutching her nose as she made a beeline to the bathroom with a bloody nose. Rainbow sighed flopping off the bed with as much grace as a drunk monkey and lazily dragged her feet to the front door.
She opened the door and surprise surprise she found her two most eccentric friends ever at the door grinning happily at her. In a flash of pink and blue Rainbow was glomped by Pinkie and Sonata in all their cheerfulness.
“HI DASHIE!” The yelled in unison, their iron grips making the woman's eyes bulge from their sockets.
“GAH! Can’t… breath,” Rainbow gasped.
Behind the two girls were the rest of their friend including Aria who was standing off to the side leaning against the wall. Just then Adagio came to the door wearing a girly pink robe and little pink bunny slippers. She was about to ask what was going on when Pinkie and Sonata released Rainbow and bear hugged Adagio next. The siren gasped as the air was literally crushed from her lungs as Aria snickered at her along with Applejack.
“I hate the two of you so much,” Adagio hissed at her sister and Applejack. “Hey Pinkie, hey Sonata.”
“HI DAGI!” The two women shouted squeezing the siren.
“GAH! Will you two ever grow up?” Adagio asked, trying to wriggling loose from the two women's grips.
Pinkie and Sonata giggled and tougher said, “Nope!”
Finally after a great struggle, Adagio managed to free from the two insane iron grips Adagio dusted herself off. Rainbow shook her head and ran her hands through her bed head. She then turned to address the possy at the door of her home. Everyone was here, Suneet, Rarity, Pinkie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight (this world's Twilight), Aria, and Sonata.
“Hey girls why are you all here?” Rainbow asked the group, placing her hands on her hips.
“We wanted to invite you two to join us at Camp Everfree for a little reunion our class is holding,” Rarity said reaching into her purse and pulled out a folded slip of paper.
Rarity then offered the paper to Rainbow Dash who opened it to give it a read. Adagio looked over her shoulder resting her chin on the rainbow haired woman's shoulder.
“Camp Everfree?” Adagio asked, snatching the paper from Rainbow, who glared at her mate.
“Why are you girls going there?” Adagio asked offering the paper back.
Rarity stepped forward and took the paper back placing it in her purse. “We’re planning on going back for a little early reunion with some friends from school.”
“Will you come?” Sonata asked Adagio.
The older siren was about to blurt out no, but then thought about the last time her and Rainbow actually had some time off from work together. Not to mention just a few day s prior Rainbow was complaining she hardly ever got to see her friends with college and her own work.
Between Rainbow’s college, and Adagio’s work it was hard for them to find time to spend together and they both felt they were drifting part. Partly in desperation of not losing Rainbow, Adagio planned to have her lover over during the month she had off for summer break and stay together to rekindle their relationship.Perhaps this camp reunion was what they both needed.
The older siren shrugged. “Sure when is it?”
“We leave later today. We know it’s last minute but if you can we’d like to have you come with us,” Rarity nudged Rainbow Dash with her hip. “I know Dashie would.”
Rainbow blushed pushing Rarity away who was now laughing with everyone else.
“Rarity! Shut up!” Rainbow whined.
Adagio tried to stifle a chuckle as Rainbow blushed at the group of laughing girls.
“You guys suck!” Rainbow yelled walking back into the house.
Adagio chuckled at rainbow’s over the top reaction. She then turned to the group and noticed how many there were.
“How are you all getting there?” Adagio asked.
“Ahm borrowing my dad's truck, and Rarity was gonna carpool with a few others,” Applejack tilted her hat at the siren. “Although we could use some help if you were to let us use, Tom.”
Adagio looked over at one end of the house where a large garage stood alone and detached from the house. Adagio grinned at the opportunity to show her new revamped, Tom off. She nodded towards the garage and walked everyone over. She knelt down at the door to reach for a large lock. She pulled a set of keys out from her robe and unlocked and set the lock aside.
She slid the door up and revealed her new Tom to the group. Needless to say they all gasped at the sight of him. His custom radio antenna, heavy ceramic steel frame, huge treads, his twelve wheel drive, custom UTD-20 Diesel engine, and huge treads left the group in awe.
Applejack whistled impressed lifting her hat with her thumb. “Now, that’s something.”
Adagio beamed in pride closing the garage. “Yeah, he is. Especially after Rainbow trashed my truck. May Tom rest in peace.”
Rarity scoffed. “That was your own fault dear.”
Adagio gave the woman an undignified harumph, before marching towards her home, the group laughed at her as she did.
Adagio gave a brief goodbye to everyone and rushed in after Rainbow Dash. She found Rainbow face down on the couch with her feet dangling over the arm of it. Adagio pushed her legs over and sat next to Rainbow. The younger woman turned her face from the cushion to see Adagio Smiling at her, and tilted her head slightly to the side.
“Ugh,” Rainbow grunted turning back into the cushion.
“Oh, don’t be like that, Dashie,”Adagio leaned down and kissing Rainbow’s neck.
Rainbow gave off a soft moan turning from side to side like a boat in slightly unsteady waters. Rainbow pushed Adagio away with a slightly annoyed look.
“Dagi, we need to pack,” Rainbow said walking up stairs.
Adagio watched her mate go upstairs, then with a casual shrug followed Rainbow to the room. By the time Adagio was at the door Rainbow was already half packed for the trip. She had a large suitcase that was half full of clothes, and skimpy bathing suits, along with a bunch of hair care products that were in one corner in an orderly fashion.
Adagio looked at the hair products from the doorway as Rainbow quickly tried to hide them under a few towels. She then turned to see Adagio standing at the door and was slightly startled from seeing her.
“He-hey, Dagi!” Rainbow greeted.
Adagio said nothing, but looked at Rainbow with a cheeky grin. Rainbow was clearly nervous about the look Adagio gave her as the siren walked towards her with a playful swing in her hip. Every step was exaggerated with a wide swing of her hip in every step, her bare feet padded across the floor as she closed the gap between her and Rainbow Dash. Adagio stopped as her chest pressed against Rainbow’s and she looked down at the younger woman who was nervously looking around the room not making eye contact.
“Hey Dagi, what’s up?”
“You owe me some kisses for when you wrecked Tom,” Adagio Said gently gripping Rainbow’s chin.
The rainbow haired woman groaned loudly. “You’re never letting me live that down are you?”
“Never,” Adagio said as she lenaed in to kiss her mate.
The packing could wait, for now Adagio was in the mood and Rainbow was her outlet from a stressful week of work and maddening research. Adagio had been tracking strange magical reading for a long time now ever since her father came back. It made her worry that something was happening with either her father of the G-Force.
She lost herself in the emotional passion feeling all the stress of the week melting off of her as Rainbow submitted to the sirens touch and the two spent the next few hours not packing, but making passionate love, feeling their hearts synching one again like they did when they first fell in love.

So here's part one of the update I promised. The Battle of the Atoll, and what a thing it should be! I've never coordinated so many things at once I think. Closest to something like this I've ever done was the Battle of Ponyville in my fic Trixie, Secretary Extraordinaire!! Should be interesting to see how this'll turn out!

Battle of the Atoll
Hours Later Midway Atoll
Far west in the Midway Atoll a small fleet of American naval vessels were on a routine patrol through the Atoll heading south. It was dark, cold, and wet from a heavy storm that raged all around them. The fleet consisted of five vessels. One carrier, three battleships, and a frigate escort. They were trudging through the waters of the Atoll following a series of strange radar readings.
While in pursuit of the strange radar blips they encountered the storm which greatly inhibited their ability to find what they were looking for. Considering the fact it was heading south by southwest, the Captain of the fleet was sure it was a Russian ship, either lost due to the storm or running a border skirmish in their waters. In either case they were ordered to find the source of the radar blips and make contact with US Naval Command after finding the source.
They were now thirteen hours into their search when the storm started to get really bad. The fleet had to keep a loose formation just so they didn’t risk toppling over one another if a powerful enough wave hit the smaller ships. As luck would have it the storm had grounded all planes and restricted all non-essential personnel to below deck.
On the carrier and battleships the storm was a minor annoyance but for the crew of the frigate life was beginning to get miserable. Compared to its larger brethren the frigate was small and easily forced around by the massive waves, limiting not only mobility but their speed as well. The crew was already use to the rigid waters but this storm was putting their stomachs to the ultimate test of endurance and willpower.
To compensate for the storm, the Captain of the fleet on the frigate ordered the helmsman to follow in the carriers wake while the battleships were used as a buffer around them. This helped alleviate some of the stress on the ship but forced them to rely on the other ships for bearings, biotin in combination with the body low visibility weather and the fact vision was out right blocked by the fleet protecting them.
It was now 2210 zulla (10:10 local time in the Atoll) when the radar officer on the carrier caught the signal again, but the storm was hindering her ability to find the reading when she got a huge hit along with the blip from earlier.
“Contact! South 223!” she yelled.
The Captain on average eight turned to face her. His navy fatigues ruffled as he walked over to her.
“What’s the SITREP?” He asked looking at the radar.
He could see the distinct sign of two small blips and one large one easily over running the other two by a great margin before turning around to chase after the other two blips.
“What the hell?”
From next to him another naval officer called to him. He was sitting at a large computer station with several blue panels around him and a large headset on. The man looked up at his CO removing his headset.
“Sir, I have Russian contacts at 223. It a Russian cruiser, Moskva class!” He said pointing at his panel. “They're calling for help!”
The Captain straightened up and adjusted his cap.
“Well then, as the head of our new Naval Task Force, I Captain Ramius order the fleet full speed ahead! Let’s go see you neighbors!”
With the word given the entire fleet diverted full speed towards the location of the Moskva. A short, but very violently bumpy trip later the fleet was closing in on the blip when a loud screeching overrode the sound of the storm for a brief time. Then suddenly the radar officer yelled out in panic.
“CONTACT INBOUND!!” She yelled as the large blip turned and headed towards them.
Before anyone could react the fleet was already firing through the storm. As the frigate slowed its pace and lost sight of its companions, the light from their canons were the only indicator they were there aside from their radar readings.
A few seconds later a few of the blips disappeared from the radar. The only remaining ones were the carrier, one battleship, the unknown large blip and the two smaller Russian contacts. Contact was quickly established with the American Fleet and the Russian Moskva Captain who was in a panic. The Moskva was Captain told Remius about a massive kaiju insectoid that was attacking their fleet. They were able to keep it away with flares from their Hind-D, but the storm limited the Moskva's mobility so they couldn’t get a good bearing on the beast.
Quickly the two sides grouped up. With the storm the carrier made no attempt to launch its fighters, leaving the battleships and the Moskva to defend it with the frigate and Hind. The Hind, a tiny gunship helicopter was struggling through the storm as the kaiju was making a pass. The hind quickly ascended firing two and then three flares making the kaiju dive under the flares and changed its course away from the fleet, but the hinds flares were running low.
Remus came up with a plan. He knew of the Moskva design. It was a long ranged carrier destroyer with powerful long ranged missiles that could snap a ship in two, or obliterate smaller ones.
Remus ordered the fleet to divide into two. The Moskva, one battleship, and the frigate, gathered together with the Hind-d and circled around the carrier and the remaining battleships. Several minutes passed and the radar officer kept track of the flying kaiju who was just out of weapon range but was still circling the two groups of ships. Then, after about thirty minutes of waiting it came hard about and headed straight for the fleet.
The communication officer and several others were scrambling on the various ships relaying instructions in what could only be described as organized chaos.
The Russian missile cruiser repositioned itself by reversing direction while the battleships formed a line and fired their large canons at the approaching beast. Then they saw it. Through the wave torn sea and rain came the shape of a large insectoid kaiju flying over them with a loud screech. The shells from the battleships struck their target only making it flinch slightly as it flew over the fleet. The Hind-D circled through the storm to face the direction the kaiju was coming from on its return pass.
It was easy to identify the creature. Everyone in the world knew who it was, Elechos. Insect kaiju of the Pacific and was wanted dead by several nations. The fleet Captain’s mission sudden turned into an extermination.
He order the fleet to spread apart with the carrier and Moskva behind it. The battleships formed a blockade in front of the carrier and missile cruiser while the Hind landed on the carrier to refuel. The pilot and copilot were praised by the carrier crew for their bravery to fly in such conditions.
While refueling the Hind, the Frigate circled around the clutter of ships acting as an early warning detection point. When the pin pointed Helechos coming towards them, the battleships began a constant barrage of fire on the kaiju, but it was getting smarter with every pass. Elechos screeched as it dodged side to side clumsily making half the shots miss it. What did hit the bug served only to annoy it more with every passing.
This time however the kaiju was not merciful.
Before passing the frigate Elechos dove head first into the closest battleship tearing into the hull before disappearing under water. The remaining vessels remained in place hoping to catch the beast when it came back up. The worry was that i’d come through another ship.
Suddenly a bright blue glow shined through the storm like an otherworldly phenomenon from under the fleet where Elechos disappeared. The breaching the water came a highly concentrated beam of what looked like a blue flame that soared through the sky.
The blue flame slowly descended splitting the two fleets apart without destroying any ships on either side of the flames of death. Silence followed with nothing but the storm and sounds from the consoles to comfort the men and women of the fleet. As time passed they thought the fight was over, but then out of the abyss came Elechos, flapping its bug like wings with all its strength but was gripped by large powerful hands that threatened to drag it down.
The arms soon emerged to a full body of Godzilla who roared shaking the ships in the already uncalm waters. His roar echoed through the storm as he tried to get a firm grip over the insectoid kaiju. Their massive bodies displaced the ships forcing them to retreat a distance or be swept up by the waves caused by their struggle. At first the humans had no idea what to do, the mixed feeling of Godzilla not actually attacking humans versus the potential of killing him now and Elechos had the fleet wondering what to do next. The Moskva however seemed to already know what it was going to do.
From it’s position the Russian Missile Cruiser launched a single large missile from one of its eight forward mounted silos. The missile flew high and fast ascending towards the dark sky until it was nothing more than a faint glow. Then after reaching optimal altitude the missile dove down reaching maximum velocity before impacting Elechos directly on the head.
The missile penetrated deep into the insectoids head as blood rain from its open wound. Godzilla took the opportunity presented to him. He took one massive claw and grabbed hold of the massive wound and bent Elechos head towards him. While the US fleet remained out of this the Moskva fire another missile into the sky. Elechos saw the missile and struggled more to escape Godzilla’s grasp. It swung side to side trying to break free but Godzilla’s grip held true.
To compensate Elechos leaned into Godzilla, which he wasn’t expecting, and bite into Godzilla’s face. A pained roar escaped Godzilla as he continued to hold onto his prey. Elchos quickly realized its folly and tried to claw at its adversary when the second missile hit its shoulder dismembering one wing.
Not allowing the opportunity to pass up the US fleet began a full scale bombardment on Elechos, and indirectly Godzilla due to their close proximity. Godzilla responded to the attack by releasing Elechos and pushing it away from him with a might shove of both his arms. Elechos fell backwards into the water and flailed uselessly as the US and Russian ships continued their attack. The US battleships and frigate fired their cannons and long range missiles focusing on Elechos head and limbs while the Moskva fire two missiles into the air. Elechos managed to right itself only to be drilled in the back my the canon fire and missiles from the Moskva. The concentrated fire drove into the insectoids back cracking it chitinous body weakening it greatly. Godzilla roared watching as the fleet of ships continued their attack.
The king of beats then inhaled as his scutes began glowing with their otherworldly blue glow as a charge built up in his body. Elechos heard the vibrating hums from Godzilla’s body and tried to flee sensing its imminent doom. For the humans it was a sign that the battle was almost over. The fleet backed away as Godzilla puffed his chest, his cheeks bulged, and his throat gurgled with a most feral deep throated growl. The fleet backed away wanting to not get caught in Godzilla’s attack to come, but it never came.
As the insect kaiju flailed about in the water and Godzilla prepared the death blow, massive vine like tentacles shot up around Elechos like a kraken in a movie would a ship before striking. Like a kraken in a movie, the tentacles fell powerfully down on Elechos and wrapped around it. Elechos found itself bound and unable to escape. Slowly as it screeched and roared in panic the vines dragged the beast down into the depths. First down was it’s throat, then its upper body, and as the head slowly descended into the water Godzilla and the fleet watched Elechos get dragged down to its watery grave. Finally submerged Elechos screeching ceased.
The men and women on the ships cheered but Godzilla remained vigilant. He could tell the danger wasn’t over. Something in his primal nature tugged at him, telling him to remain cautious. He was a predator, but this thing that took his prey was more powerful than it. Though he was a water dwelling kaiju he knew he would be at a disadvantage without knowing what he was dealing with. His eyes squinted dangerously at the spot where Elechos disappeared when a torrent of bubbles caught his attention. He immediately fired his blue fire into the water, penetrating deep into the depths.
The humans were startled by his sudden attack and stopped their victory cheers and become defensive at the show of his might. Godzillas attack tore through the water leaving around it a small heated void as it cut through the ocean like a steaming knife to butter. As his breath died down the water receded. For several minutes the fleet and Godzilla remained fixated on the spot when a severed head of Elechos reemerged from the water.
The humans remained on alert scanning the area for any other kaiju activity. Godzilla however sensed that the danger had passed and looked down at the human vessels waiting for them to turn on him. Much to his surprise they didn’t fire their weapons and cannons at him, instead the tiny people stood on the decks of their ships and called out to him. They said things like he was a hero, a savior, a ally. It filled him with joy and confusion. He never expected this kind of reception from the humans, it had been a long time since a human didn’t attack him on sight as well. Sniffing the air Godzilla roared as he dove under the water hearing the lasting and muffled cheers as he departed back into the sea. As he did there was a sound that caught his attention. A voice that sung a song he once heard long ago in a different world.

Part two of my update for today. So this is where we introduce Camp Everfree!

Welcome to Camp Everfree
*Adagio meanwhile*
Adagio was humming to herself as she drove her tank over the mountainsides heading toward Camp Everfree. Her passengers were quiet for the majority of the trip and only spoke to complain about the poor comfort levels in the tank for long distances. The trip to the gas station was most amusing as well.
When Adagio pulled her tank up to the side of the gas station everyone there quickly vacated the area. When Adagio and the others got out of the tank they inadvertently scared the cashier girl making her pass out from fright. After reviving the poor girl, and scolding Rainbow for making fun of the poor girl, they paid for the fuel only to realize the fuel tank was too far for any of the hoses to reach. No matter what they did nothing seemed to reach the fuel tank hole so they had to fill gas tanks and hand feed them into the tank.
It wasn’t until they finished that they realized they could have backed the tank to the stand and reached with the hose. Needless to say Rainbow and Adagio were very angry afterwards. Once the station was done they continued on their way towards the camp and arrived an hour after their friends did. Appleajack's truck was parked off to the side of the parking lot. To the left of the truck was a four car space that had been blocked off with a sign that said reserved for Razzle Dazzle. There Adagio parked the tank taking up all four parking spaces.
When they parked Adagio made some effort not to take out Applejack’s truck. When they were parked the group piled out of the tank and stretched again feeling their bodies crack in relief. Adagio hopped out of the driver's seat and flung her hair in the open air sniffing the fresh air. She loved it, no smog, fumes, or city air to clog up her lungs (aside from her tank) and she loved it.
From behind her Rainbow Dash was helping unload the luggage when Applejack came up to them calling out.
“Hey ya’ll! What kept ya?” She asked running to Rainbow.
“Well, it was thanks to the air head driver we’re late,” Rainbow said snarkily pointing a thumb to Adagio who growled at her.
Applejack chuckled openly. “Careful Rainbow, you don’t want an angry siren coming after you!” Applejack joked.
“Hey! I said I was sorry for that! Come on, AJ, you know I feel bad about that!”
“Aww, shucks I meant nothing by it. Ah was just saying Adagio is a pretty vengeful siren, best be careful right?” Applejack asked shrugging her shoulders.
Rainbow groaned loudly throwing her own luggage to the side in a pile with the others. Then a harsh but soft spoken voice filled with enough venom to kill a cobra hissed out her name catching Rainbow off guard.
“Well, well, well… if it isn’t Rainbow Dash. Come to terrorize Trixie again?”
Rainbow sighed and turned to see Trixie Lulamoon in a short pink skirt and white tank top standing nearby with her arms cross and an angry scowl on her face. Some ways back was Maud and her sister Limestone unpacking their car while Trixie stared down Rainbow Dash.
Adagio shook her head and decided it was time for an intervention. Walking up to Trixie trying not to blindside her, the siren greeted the magician openly and warmly.
“Hey there Trixie! Long time no see!” Adagio called out hugging the woman.
Trixie snorted, but accepted the kind gesture and returned it in full. “It’s good to see you again too, Miss Dazzle.”
Adagio nodded looking back at the other two waving to them. Maud nodded and slowly waved back, while Limestone gave her a death glare and then to Rainbow Dash. She then pointed at her eyes and threateningly pointed at Rainbow who groaned slapping her face with her hands.
“Is everyone gonna hold that against me forever?” Rainbow asked mournfully.
Trixie and Adagio scoffed at her crossing their arms like a pair of twins would.
“Serves you right for harassing Trixie,” Trixie said sticking her nose up.
“I agree Rainbow, but she accepted your apology. Didn’t you Trixie?” Adagio asked looking smugly back at the magician.
Trixie babbled a bit but managed to find her voice after some few attempts and stumbling on her words.
“Guh, yes! Trixie did acpet Rainbow’s apology, but! Trixie will not tolerate another act of aggression! So please, keep your, pet, on a short leash,” Trixie said as obnoxiously as possible with a wave of her hand.
Rainbow glared at Trixie clenching her fists. “Why you stuck up-”
“Rainbow!” Adagio scolded her. “Please don’t we’re all here to relax and enjoy a fun filled vacation. Not ruin it with petty insults and butt hurt rivalries.”
Trixie was about to make a smart remark when Maud stepped up to her side and wrapped a hand around her waist. “Same goes for you, little moon.” Maud said monotonously.
Trixie looked into Maud's eyes about to rebuttal, but was stopped when she looked into Maud’s eyes. Her eyes always made her stop and take her breath away. The young woman fanned herself as Maud leaned in kissing her on the lips. Adagio smiled and Rainbow gaged until she was swatted on the head by Adagio. Limestone then walked up behind Trixie and Maud spreading the two apart with her hands, making them both blush.
“That’s enough you weirdos. Come on let’s go to the cabin and get settled in. I need a little stress relief.” Limestone grumbled walking past them lugging all their luggage.
Trixie watched as Limestone walked by feeling the woman push against her. Trixie let out an imagination grunt crossing her arms and swaying her hips and hissed silently behind Limestone, “Brute.”
There was a brief pause in Limestone’s step but was quickly recovered when eshe continued up a flight of stairs leading above the parking area. The remaining people grabbed what they could and followed after Limestone. CLimbing the stairs they followed a dirt path that lead into a forest surrounding the parking area for several minutes. Soon they emerged to a large opening that was the main entry point to Camp Everfree where a tall tanned man stood with an orange shirt and a green beanie hat talking to the rest of the group who had arrived sooner with Applejack and Rarity.
The man stopped talking to the group and came to greet the new arrivals with a smile and a happy tone.
“Welcome all to Camp Everfree! My name is Timber Spruce. I’m sorry to say my sister Gloriosa Daisy isn’t here to help with things, she’s been a little under the weather for the last few hours. So, until she’s better as the shared manager of the camp I’ll be hosting you and your friends for you reunion. Now, who’s Razzle Dazzle?”
Timber Spruce looked at the group until Adagio made her way through the group to the front to present herself. She smiled and extended a hand to TImber Spruce.
“I’m Razzle Dazzle, pleased to meet you Mr. Spruce,” She greeted him kindly.
“Miss Dazzle, wow…” He said in awe at the woman. “I must say you look dashing.”
Rainbow hissed and quickly made her way beside Adagio and Spruce. She quickly took in=his extended hand and shook it with a rather harsh grip on the poor man.
“HI! I’m Rainbow Dash! My girl and I are so glad to be here! What going on?” Rainbow asked in a loud voice startling everyone.
Timber Spruce however got the hint and backed away from Adagio who was chuckling at rainbow’s overprotective nature.
“We were just going over the camp safety rules. If you’d like to sit in you can and I’ll take your luggage to the cabins if you want to explore afterwards for a bit,” The man offered to the group.
Adagio was about to accept the offer when Rainbow Dash butted in. “Sorry, but I Was going to get these to the cabin. Razzle Dazzle, can you fill me in after on the rules? I need to get this stuff to the room.”
Adagio sighed, “Sure thing. Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way.”
Rainbow stuck her tongue out at her mate and looked to Spruce. “Where can I check in?”
“Oh, don’t worry. Because of your reservation I was expecting you all for sometime now. Here’s the key,” HE gave Rainbow a small brass key on a lanyard still smiling. “Hope the cabins to your liking.”
“Humph, whatever.”
Rainbow huffed turning to walk away. Adagio and the others in the large group shook their heads at Rainbow’s show of jealousy. Spruce however looked rather confused at the rainbow haired woman's aggression towards him. He looked helplessly at Adagio giving him a sympathetic look.
“DOn’t worry, she’s just over protective of me. We’re kinda a thing, if you get my meaning?” Adagio hinted to him suggestively, wiggling her brows at him.
Timber Spruce blushed backing away from Adagio waving his hands. “Oh, no! I’m so sorry Miss Dazzle! I promise I had no such intentions!”
Adagio giggled at the cute reaction he gave to her. Off to the side she caught sight of some of the others frowning at her, Aria on the other hand was nodding in approval getting some twisted pleasure at his suffering.
“Oh, don’t worry I was just playing with you!” Adagio said trying to make Spruce feel better.
The young man quickly recovered sighing in relief.
“Oh, thank you. I was worried I offended you,” He apologized.
“Don’t worry about it. My girlfriend will be fine, she just needs to blow off some steam.”
Adagio then walked past him and went to join the others in the group. All around her was many familiar faces. The Rainbooms were gathered at the front and center of the group sitting on the grassy ground. To their left was Trixie, Maud, and Limestone, who were looking rather grumpy while Maud remained a blank slate. Sonata sat between the groups holding onto Sunsets arm giggling as they talked, and to Adagio’s surprise Fluttershy was holding onto Arias hand trying to keep it hidden from view. Adagio smirked sitting next to Aria getting her attention. Adagio wiggled her brows and gestured to Aria’s hand. The violet siren realized she’d been found out and tried to pull away from Fluttershy but the younger woman held firm. She looked at Aria smiling and leaning into her side making Aria blush with embarrassment. Adagio stared at her with a smug grin that threatened to split her face into two, and Aria silently mouthed a most painful death if she mentioned this to anyone. Adagio made a zipping motion with her hand and turned to listen to Timber Spruce give the camp rules so she could tell Rainbow Dash later. She could tell this was going to be a interesting trip.

Now, this is a filler chapter but it will touch base with things mentioned before. Some may be obvious some may not, but still I hoe you all enjoy this and the next chapter will be out next week. So stay tuned! Also if you find any typos please let me know. I can read it a million times and still might miss something.

First Night
Later in the evening after arriving at Camp Everfree, Adagio was walking alone along the lake's shoreline as the sun was setting. She always loved it when the sun set. Whether in Equestria or the human world, she always loved watching the sunset.
Alone she would think of things. Things she had done and what she can do to make herself better in the future. Right now it was to be with Rainbow Dash. When she first came to the human world with her sisters Adagio never thought she’d find love, much less in a human. However, over time as the relationship between her and Rainbow grew she realized just how much of her life she squandered and that of her sisters too.
Now, she had a chance to make things right by living a long fulfilling life with her sisters and Rainbow. She looked out over to the water and the sunlight reflecting off it as she stepped by the miniature boat dock. She glanced at the wooden structure and gave a slight tilt of her head, trying to decide if she wanted to walk more or stay here. In the end she opted for staying at the dock and watching the sunset.
She walked down the peer listening to the old wood creak under her feet. She walked right to the edge and stood there with the toes of her black boots barely over the edge. She stood and watched the light reflect off the water and change with the ripples in the water. She smelled the water and old soaked wood from the docks and listened to the sounds of the birds in the distance. She never once thought of how serene these things were. It was almost therapeutic for her. She raised up her arms and closed her eyes and leaned forward slightly taking a big whiff of the air as her hair flowed gently in a low gust.
The wood creak loudly and she suddenly felt like she was being pushed forward. Adagio’s eyes shot open followed by a loud girly scream. The siren flailed her arms as she thought she would fall into the water when a pair of strong arms grabbed around her waist and pulled her back.
Huffing and fanning herself Adagio growled and spun on the person behind her, thinking it was Rainbow Dash.
“Now, listen here you obnoxious-”
“Hello again Miss Dazzle.”
Adagio stopped dead in her tracks when she noticed it was Spitfire who was behind her. The tall woman stood looking down at her with her arms crossed against her chest, giving Adagio a smug grin. Adagio really wanted to punch her and drown her in the lake, but held herself back.
The leader of the G-Force team, Major Spitfire. Top of her class in the Academy, pilot from the Air Force, and the biggest jerk this side of Canterlot City. At least in Adagio’s eyes.
“What are you doing here?” She asked Spitfire with a hiss.
“Tsk, tsk, Miss Dazzle you wound me. I’m simply here to see an old friend of mine,” Spitfire cooed at Adagio. “That’s no way to treat your, friends .”
“We’re not friends . Not anymore. What are you doing here Spitfire ?” She asked with nothing but disdain in her voice.
“Why I’m here to see my niece. Heard she got very sick suddenly and I’m hoping to see her. That is until I saw an unsavory character out and about,” Spitfire finished accusingly. “Haven’t seen anyone like that have you?”
Adagio smirked swaying her hips slightly into Spitfire.
“Well now that you mention it… there was this woman, roughly six feet tall, orange flame styled hair, really obnoxious, and ugly too. Just saw her a second ago when I looked in the water,” Adagio jabbed at the G-Force member.
Spitfire’s grin turned sour instantly.
“Har, har, listen here you little… thing… I saw your little transformation. I know what you and Rainbow Dash are.”
Spitfire’s words cut through Adagio. The siren felt her heart skip a beat as the words sank into her head.
“The only reason I haven’t smoked the two of you is because the G-Force Defense Commission, JDF, and the Russian Kaiju Response Force (RKRF), have told me to keep a tight lid on things.” Spitfire said.
“Honestly I think it’s a waste of time, but I have my orders. So here’s my one warning to you,” Spitfire leaned into Adagio’s face and tapped her finger to the sirens chest. “You stay away from my niece and nephew. You stay away from them or else.”
Adagio glared back at Spitfire.
“Or else what?” Adagio snapped back.
Spitfire didn’t respond. Instead she just huffed and turned away and walked off leaving Adagio alone at the dock. Adagio’s mood never bettered. So, she opted for leaving to go and join the others back at the main camp.
Turning to leave Adagio looked back once more at the sun to see the last traces of it disappear over the horizon and trees. She smiled and left the dock heading back to the main part of the camp where the rest of the group was waiting. As she did a small green vine broke through the surface of the water and a tiny rose blossomed from it with razor sharp teeth in its center.
A few minutes later Adagio found her friends near a large campfire. Rainbow was sitting by herself while Trixie glared at her from across the fire holding onto Maud and Limestone. Sunset was sitting with Sonata on a wooden log each was wearing a sweater whose colors matched the opposite woman. Aria was sitting by Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy and Twilight.
Timber Spruce was sitting next to the campfire throwing a log into it when he noticed Adagio coming towards them. The camp owner jumped to his feet and waved her down, and Adagio smiled waving to him. Rainbow grunted looking away with an annoyed look on her face.
“Adagio! Glad you could make it. We were just resting at the campfire before turning in for the night. We just got through telling stories, want to join us?”
Adagio shrugged walking over to the group. “Sure why not? By the way is your aunt Spitfire by chance?”
Timber Spruce looked up from his spot in shock. “How did you know?”
“I have my ways. Personally I like to think I just know people well,” Adagio answered.
Adagio sighed walking towards Rainbow and sitting beside her. Adagio plaedd her hands on Rainbow’s shoulders giving them a gentle massage. Rainbow practically melted in Adagio’s touch feeling her body go from being tense to loose and fluid in mere seconds, thus allowing her to sigh in content.
“Aww, yeah… that’s awesome,” Rainbow sighed slumping slightly.
“I knew you’d get over it eventually. Just had to catch you in the right mood,” Adagio smiled at her lover. “Are we better now?”
Rainbow nodded taking hold of Adagio’s hands and kissing them both. “Yeah, we’re cool.”
Timber Spruce then got up and started to walk away but stopped at the edge of the group of people.
“Hey everyone, I need to go check on my sister. Please remember the check into your rooms before ten. See you all tomorrow,” Timber Spruce said waving to them and left.
ONce timber Spruce was gone, Adagio wrapped her arms around Rainbow Dash and pulled her closer resting her chin on the rainbow colored hair. Rainbow grunted, but allowed her head to be used as a resting post. Rainbow noticed Trixie was still glaring at her until a hand flicked her nose making her yelp.
Everyone looked to see Trixie now glaring up at Limestone who was staring her down.
“What was that for?” Trixie complained.
Limestone grunted looking away from Trixie and crossing her arms. “Stop glaring at others Trixie. I can feel the glaring. Only I’m allowed to glare hatefully at others as much as you do.”
“Psh, whatever…” Trixie grumbled pulling Maud’s arms tighter around her.
Afterwards Trixie looked over at Adagio who was talking to Fluttershy, still holding Rainbow in her arms.
“Hey, Adagio?”
Adagio looked to Trixie.
“Where on earth did you get the money to buy and maintain a Soviet era tank?” Trixie asked.
Adagio shrugged casually in response saying, “It was thanks to our accumulated wealth over the centuries that we could afford such things. When we had our voices at their full power we used them to topple empires and raise new ones. China, Greece, Rome, gosh I use to love that place back in the day… then that jerk Julius Caesar came along and ruined our Republic.”
Aria grunted. “I hated that pervert. He was the worst thing to happen to Rome.”
“But didn’t he give way to the great Roman Empire after the republic council was overthrown and he killed all the jedi before being assassinated by his son, or was it Attila the Hun?” Sonata asked.
Everyone facepalmed, but none harder that Adagio.
“Sonata, bless your heart I love you my dear younger sister, but you are the biggest loveable idiot I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and being related to,” Adagio sighed.
She managed to still crack a smile at Sonata’s silly confused look she gave her. Sunset chuckled and pulled Sonata into a playful headlock, while the others all laughed at the airheaded siren. Trixie and Limestone had shocked looks and Maud remained stoic as per usual.
“Story time?” Aria asked crossing her arms.
“Story time,” Adagio nodded.
As Adagio went through the origins of her race to everyone again, both Trixie, Maud, and Limestone all had very different reactions. Trixie at first had a look of disbelief then she remembered that Adagio was a siren from thousands of years ago. Limestone had on her skepticals, and Maud was Maud.
“That… so you can transform into a siren at anytime?” Trixie asked.
Trixie then looked at Rainbow Dash. “Can you still do it too?”
“Yeup,” Rainbow replied.
“Ugh, please try not too,” Trixie said leaning into Maud.
The young magician pulled Maud’s arms tighter around herself, as if trying to prepare to protect herself from Rainbow like she was going to get her. Just the Limestone barked out loudly pointing at Rainbow Dash with a very aggressive gesture.
“So, you were the one who was harassing Trixie! Do you know how much of a headache that was for me?” Limestone growled.
Rainbow suddenly felt very concerned about her well being. The angry look in Limestones eyes rivaled that of Adagio when she found out ‘Tom’ was destroyed a while back. It was a truly terrifying experience. While Limestone felt less threatening the an angry Adagio did, she still felt her body shake with chills as Adagio threw her under the metaphorical bus.
“Yeup, this is the one.”
“Dagi! What the hell!?” Rainbow bellowed accidently pushing her away.
‘Don’t worry though, Limestone and Trixie. I promise Rainbow learned her lesson and won’t be doing such a thing ever again. Am I right, Rainbow?” Adagio finished asking Rainbow with a vicious snarl in her tone.
Before Rainbow could even mutter out a word in her fearful stupor, Maud had gotten up and picked up a small hand sized stone and walked towards Rainbow Dash. Maud came up beside Rainbow Dash and Adagio and knelt down by them and showed the rock in her palm.
Rainbow and Adagio looked at the stone wondering what it meant when Maud slowly gripped it in her hand and began squeezing it.
“I just want you to understand something,” Maud said, as the stone began to crack in her grip. “Should anything happen to Trixie or my sister Pinkie, I will crush you… just like I will this rock.”
Suddenly the stone in Maud's hand shattered into several pieces leaving only dust in her hand. Adagio and Rainbow were both shocked along with most of the group. Trixie however got a smug look as she watched Rainbow cringe under the might of Maud Pie. Maud then wiped the dust off to the side and got up with Trixie and Limestone and they walked away heading back to their cabin, but not before Trixie could make a rather rude gesture to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash fumed at the gesture Trixie made and wanted to crush her face in but fear of Maud’s retribution stayed her hand, and deep down Rainbow knew Trixie was a good person. Even if she was very abrasive. Smiling after calming herself Rainbow leaned into Adagio again and rested by the fire.
As the next hour rolled past the group slowly dispersed as the girls got tired and the ten o’clock curfew came up. Sunset and Sonata left first followed by Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Pinkie left next wanting to see her sisters before calling it a night. Afterwards Twilight left saying goodnight and left heading to her cabin with Sunset and Sonata.
Adagio and Rainbow stayed a bit longer basking in the heat from the fire and their bodies being pressed against one another. Adagio leaned in kissing Rainbow on the head, making her look back and give her a quick kiss on the lips.
“Hey,” Dagio cooed.
“Hey yourself hotstuff.”
Adagio then sighed stretching her arms over her head. She then stood up and lifted Rainbow bride style in her arms making Rainbow blush.
“Ready to call it a night?”
Rainbow smiled kissing Adagio’s neck and wrapping her arms around her neck.
“Totally./”
After safely putting out the fire Adagio carried Rainbow Dash back to their cabin taking her sweet time to enjoy the time she spent with her along the way, embracing each other's love and passion until they met the bed, and then things got steaming.
*Spitfire*
Spitfire walked through the camp as the hours rolled pasted. She had managed to find her niece in the local infirmary where she was resting when her nephew Timber Spruce came in through the door. She turned to see him with a look of surprise in his eyes as he ran to hug her.
“Auntie! It’s so good to see you again!” Timber Spruce cried out hugging Spitfire.
Spitfire giggled hugging him back affectionately.
“Heh, it’s good to see you to Timber,” Spitfire rubbed his head playfully.
“Aw, auntie!” Timber Spruce complained. “What are you doing here? I thought you were out in Japan?”
Spitfire looked back at Gloriosa and sighed. She walked up beside the sleeping girl and ran her hand through Gloriosa’s hair.
“Family brought me back, nephew.”
Timber Spruce knew what she meant. Ever since his parents passed away Spitfire took Gloriosa and him under her and raised them as her own. It weighed heavily on Spitfire what happened to their parents, feeling it was her own fault despite it being a monster's fault for their passing. Yet, he admired that Spitfire cared so much and loved her just as much as he did his own parents.
He walked up behind his aunt and hugged her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pressed his head against her neck. Spitfire smiled taking hold of his arms with her hands and tenderly rubbed them.
“Thank you nephew. I don’t know where I would be if you and your sister weren’t here. If I ever lost either of you two I, I don’t know what I’d do…” Spitfire felt tears forming in her eyes and felt her voice crack. “I’m sorry, I need to step out for a while.”
Timber Spruce knew his aunt very well. Well enough to know she didn't want to see him to see her break down like a child in front of him. Knowing this he nodded and released his aunt and allowed her to leave. Just as Spitfire reached the door Timber Spruce called to her.
“Aunt, I want you to stay for the week. We have some guests staying here and I think you should stay and take a break.”
Spitfire smiled nodding at him. “Thanks Timber. Guess I could take a few days of leave.”
Timber Spruce got a wide grin hearing his aunts answer.
“Great! I’ll set you up with our second best cabin available.”
Spitfire chuckled, deciding to tease with her nephew a bit.
“What, why second?” She dramatically fell to the ground clutching her heart. “Don’t you love your aunt enough to not give her the best? Why Timber? Why?”
Timber Spruce rolled his eyes not batting a eye at his aunt's overly dramatic display.
“No, it’s just the current tenants paid for the best in advanced so sorry,” He said with a shrug. “But, I promise to take great care of you auntie.”
“I know you will. See you tomorrow then?”
“Tomorrow auntie,” Timber Spruce said smiling. “Have a good night aunt Spitfire.”
“Good night nephew.”
After the brief goodbye Spitfire left Timber Spruce alone with his sister in the room.
Spitfire walked towards the exit clutching a small silver locket around her neck. She opened it revealing two small pictures on both sides of the locket. On side was her and a younger Timber Spruce, the other side had Gloriosa and and two adult figures behind her, her mother and father. Spitfire touched the side with the mother and father feeling the tears run down her face.
“I’m sorry sister… Terry Berry… I wish I had been there sooner. If I did maybe…” She trailed off clicking the locket closed and placing it back in her shirt. “Well, no point dwelling on the past. I promise you though, Godzilla will pay for your deaths. I’ll end him myself. No matter the cost… he will pay.”
With her declaration renewed Spitfire left the infirmary and headed to her personal cabin, ready to turn in for the night. She needed her rest. Tomorrow was going to be a big day.

Quake
The next morning came with a loud rumble that awoke everyone in Camp Everfree. Adagio screamed falling out of her bed, while Rainbow Dash jumped out of hers and ducked under the desk nearby. From her spot under the desk, Rainbow watched as Adagio cried out in pain and gripped her head rolling in pain. In Adagio’s head a ear shattering screech echoed over and over causing her head to throb, like it was going to explode from a high pressure. The rumbling increased making whatever wasn’t nailed to the floor either topple over or fall from its perch.
After a god minute of violent shaking the tremor stopped leaving everything fallen out of place. Once things settled down Rainbow crawled out from her hiding spot and made her way over to a shaken Adagio. Taking her hands Rainbow rubbed Adagio’s hands with her own gently stroking them to comfort her.
“Hey, love, you alright there? You didn’t hit your head did you?” Rainbow asked looking over Adagio’s head.
“No, I’m fine now,” Adagio said pushing Rainbow away so she could stand. “I just… heard something.”
Not sure what she meant Rainbow cocked a brow which didn’t go unnoticed by the siren.
“Ugh, I heard a strange roar like my fathers, but… different.” Adagio rubbed her head trying to come up with a way to explain what she heard. “It sounded like my father's voice, but if it was synthesize through a mechanical blender mixed with nails on a chalkboard.”
Rainbow Dash just stared blankly at her making Adagio groan. It was clear to the siren that her mate had no idea what was being said.
“Ugh, it was very loud and painful.”
“Oh, why didn’t you just say so?” Rainbow asked shrugging.
Adagio growled and backhanded her mates head with a swift flick of the wrist. Rainbow Dash yelped in pain rubbing the back of her skull glaring back at Adagio.
“Hey! Not cool!”
“Well, maybe next time you’ll think twice before saying something stupid again.” Adagio gave a playful smirk at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow smirked back and slowly placed her hands on Adagio’s shoulders and gently pushed her to the floor and planted her lips to hers, giving her a passionate kiss.
Adagio wrapped her arms around Rainbow and pulled her tightly against her body giving into her primal mating instincts. She gently slipped her hands under Rainbow Dash’s shirt and slowly lifted it revealing her rock solid belly underneath. AShe pulled from the kiss and leaned into Rainbow’s neck and nibbled her collarbone enticing a soft moan from the prismatic haired woman. Gently she tickled Rainbow’s navel and lifter the shirt higher and higher when suddenly the door flung open and Pinkie came rushing in like a madwoman in a full blown panic.
“DAGI! RAINBOW! ARE YOU TWO HERE?!” She screamed running into the room.
Pinkie immediately stopped dead in her tracks as she eyed Adagio and Rainbow. Rainbow was being straddled by Adagio who was lifter her shirt off, both women were red as tomatoes and Rainbow Dash quickly covered herself glaring at Pinkie Pie.
“P-PINKIE! Ever heard of knocking!?” Rainbow stuttered.
Pinkie nodded dumbly but remained silent.
“Pinkie what are you doing?” Outside the voice of Sunset Shimmer calling to pinkie made the pink woman blink.
“Just catching Rainbow and Adagio doing the ‘dirty dance’.”
“PINKIE!” Three voices yelled at her.
Pinkie Shrugged and casually walked out of the room, and soon replaced with Sunset SHimmer. Sunset scowled at Pinkie and looked inside to see Adagio and Rainbow standing apart like nothing happened.
“You two alright? That was some tremor,” Sunset asked them.
“We’re fine Sunset,” Rainbow said.
“Well we just wanted to make sure you two were alright. We had to cancel the mountain climbing so everyone is going to the lake instead.”
Adagio liked that idea. She couldn’t remember the last time she soaked up and sunlight on a nice quiet beach like she did back in Equestria. She was long overdue for a nice sun bath. She then thought of her new bathing suit she got and was waiting for an excuse to show it off to Rainbow, perhaps fortune has shined on her this day.
“That sounds like fun, when is everyone meeting up?” Adagio asked.
“We’re going to eat breakfast in the messhall first then after that we’re going to meet at the lake around 11.”
“Sounds like a plan. We’ll meet you there,” Adagio said to Sunset.
“Yea, and thanks for checking on us. We do appreciate it,” Rainbow added winking at Sunset.
Sunset shook her head and walked off with Pinkie at her heels. Once the two were gone Adagio and Rainbow quickly cleaned up the room from all the fallen things during the quake. Afterwards they decided to just lounge around on the bed until 11, content with being in each others embrace.
On the other side of the camp in a large cabin Sunset was getting ready herself. She had on a two piece red and yellow lined bikini with a sash around her waist. She was tying her hair up when Sonatas blue ponytail poked over her shoulder in a mirror she was looking in. Sunset sighed knowing Sonata would jump on her any moment but managed to crack a smile while she waited for the siren to jump her.
Sure enough as a few seconds passed sonata leaped from behind Sunset and wrapped her arms around her neck screaming ‘boo!’. Chickleing Sonata, despite being over one thousand years old, managed to keep some sort of childhood innocence in herself as was clearly being displayed here. Sunset let her hair down as Sonata spit some of it out.
“Augh ,pfft! Pfft! Ugh, I got hair in my mouth.”
“That’s what you get for jumping me when I’m trying to do my hair.”
Sonata giggled. “Yeah, guess so. Still how are you doing, Sunny?”
Sonata asked looking the young woman up from head to toe. She gave an analytical gaze over Sunset judging her on what she was wearing, no doubt the time she spent with rarity made some of the fashionistas habit rub of the impressionable siren.
Sunset turned to face her swaying her hips to the side and placing her hand on them. Sonata was wearing a large blue sundress courtesy of Rarity, and little sandals with little yellow flowers on them.
“Cute. Is that one of Rarity’s designs?” Sunset asked pointing at the blue sundress.
Sonata nodded with a big smile on her face. “Yeup. She made it just for me! Isn’t it beautiful?”
“You sure are,” Sunset said returning to the mirror and tried tying up her hair.
“Ugh, this stupid hair of mine. I swear I will get it cut first chance I get,” Sunset mumbled trying to fumble her plush hair.
Suddenly Sonata was behind her and pulling the fiery hair up. “Here, let me help,” Sonata offered, pulling Sunsets bangs from her eyes.
“Thanks, Sonata. I really envy your sister Adagio.”
Sonata cocked her head pulling out a hairpin from her large ponytail and snapped it over Sunsets hair. “Why’s that, Sunny?”
“How can she have this much hair and not go crazy?” Sunset asked gesturing to her uncontrollable hair.
“Tee, hee. We’re sirens, duh,” Sonata said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Our hair is a living extension of ourselves. It does as we command.”
“... What?”
“Oh, yeah. We can control our hair like it was an arm or leg!” Sonata said grinning.
Sunset could only stare in disbelief at what she heard. Never once had she heard something so ridiculous as being able to control one's hair. The only time she heard of such a thing was in her old Power Ponies comics with the Mane Iac, but never from a real living creature.
Her thought was cut off by Sonata’s ***t eating grin plastered on her face. It took a moment for Sunset to realize she just been had. Grinning herself she gave a playful swat at Sonata’s arm. The blue siren whined rubbing her arm.
“Ouchies, not cool Sunny.”
Sunset stared blankly at Sonata as she finished pinning up Sunset’s hair. Stepping away Sonata admired her work. Sunset now had a large wavey ponytail with long lengths of hair at each side of her head. Sunset then realized their was a hairpin with her old cutie mark on it holding her hair back. She turned to ask Sonata about the hairpin but found the siren was gone.
Sighing Sunset admired her new hairdo and the lovely sun shaped hairpin. She touched the hairpin and gently stroked it with her fingers watching as the sun reflected off its polished surface. It had been a long time since she received such a gift from someone, or rather somepony. True her human friends showered her with gifts over the years, but getting something with her cutie mark spoke with a certain weight to it she couldn't’ describe. Getting out of her seat Sunset threw on a large straw hat and shades and ran out out of her cabin. She saw Sonata skipping along towards the mess hall. Locking the door Sunset ran after Sonata catching up to her as the siren reached the door and they entered together.
Out in a small cave a young woman crawled through the brush that covered the cave entrance. She was Gloriosa, joint owner of Camp Everfree. She stood alone in a large dark cave where a large pedestal surrounded by large columns of rock with pulsating red masses in them, like large pores with red flesh beneath. Gloriosa had come alone to the cave glancing around before laying her eyes on the pedestal at the center. Gloriosa approached the stone pedestal and glanced down at a few shards of crystal atop of it. One was red, blue, and yellow. Each pulsated with a radiant light that helped illuminate the area.
Gloriosa glanced around picking up the blue shard and held it to her chest. She hummed softly as the crystal resonated with her humming, slowly synchronizing with her. Finally after a few seconds a bright blue light expanded from the crystal and a soft disembodied voice called out from the cave to her.
“Ahh, it’s goo0 to see you alive and well my friend,” it said to her.
The voice was that of a soft spoken man, but had a slight hiss in it’s tone. From bover her in the dark roof of the cave Gloriosa saw a set of aged eyes overhead. The right one had a dark mark of some kind over it, like a tattoo eye patch.
She didn’t flee from the eyes, instead she smiled openly and greeted the eyes like an old friend would.
“I’m glad to hear from you too,” Gloriosa said to the roof of the cave. “I’ve done as you asked. I placed the amber into the altar and felt the quake. What’s next?”
The voice chuckled softly at the woman's eagerness.
“Fret not my friend. In time our intentions will become clear. For now, I want you to go enjoy yourself for the time being,” The male voice said. “There is much to be done in the future. For now, you’ve earned yourself a nice break.”
Gloriosa nodded and giggled happily as she jumped around the cave.
“Yes, so the cmap is saved after all!”
“Now now, the camp isn’t saved yet,” The voice said sternly, as the eyes narrowed at her.
Gloriosa ceased her cheerful banter and sagged slightly. The man's eyes seemed to soften after the young woman managed to calm herself down and continued to speak to her in a gentle tone.
“Please, remember these things take time. Empires weren’t built overnight. This can’t be rushed,” He warned her.
“No you’re right. Sorry I got over excited.”
Gloriosa blushed feeling rather embarrassed by her conduct wishing she could just die on the spot, but a reassuring laughter from the eyes calmed her nerves.
“Thank you for being my friend, sir,” She said to the eyes.
“No, Gloriosa, I should thank you!” The voice said. “Were it not for you our work would have taken decades longer. We owe you our lives.”
“That was nothing. Just trying to help. Anyways I’ll see you later chief!” Gloriosa waved goodbye to the eyes above her and ran out of the cave leaving the eyes alone in the darkness. Once she was gone the soft voice grunted looking off to the side before disappearing from view.
Just outside the cave, Major Spitfire watched in silence as the exchange took place. She watched as her niece left the cave, and heard the conversation she had with the strange man. She wondered who he was and how he knew her niece. No doubt it would be an interesting tale, but Spitfire couldn’t shake this sense that the man or being whatever it was had ill intent for her nice Gloriosa.
Making a mental note, Spitfire snuck off and made her way back to the main part of the camp. Had she stayed a moment more she would have noticed a large branch crawling along the rock face that bloomed into a rose with sharp teeth in its center. A rock in the cave slid to the side and revealed a secret door behind it and a man in silver aluminum looking clothes stepped out with a small pistol in his hand. It was nothing more than a barrel it seems as the man looked down at the rose that hissed at him. The man smirked and pointed his weapon at the tiny rose and fire a blue bolt at it vaporizing it instantly as the rose cried out in pain.
Satisfied with his kill the man walked back into the door. The door slide with a loud hissing noise behind him and the rock that once hid it moved back into place covering the secret door from sight once again.
*They will pay* A deep feminine voice cursed as the vine slowly regenerated.

Hey there everyone!
Sorry for the late update. Had lots to do and came to the realization that I needed to filter out some stuff onto paper before I could continue so I did just that and now the stories are back in action! Regular weekly updates for my fics will resume but which ones depends on how I feel.
Until then enjoy the new, but short chapter.

The next day Adagio and Rainbow Dash were sleeping under a tree near by the dock of the lake at Camp Everfree. They were just resting under the sun in the afternoon passing the time in comforting embrace of one another.
Rainbow twirled her fingers in Adagio’s hair. Rainbow was leaning against the tree trunk with Adagio resting on her chest. The sirens hands cupping over Rainbows chest as a pillow for her head.
Trixie and Maud were out in the woods going on a nature hike. Limestone tagged along as a chaperone of sorts. The three of them went through the Rocky Pass Trail where Maud spent a good amount of time explaining and describing several types of rocks they found along the way to Trixie. Limestone simply watched and listened as her younger sister droned on about rocks and watched Trixie ask questions.
As they walked up a large ridge they stopped to take a break. The ridge was on the hillside and overlooked the entire camp. From the trees to the main camp ground and then the lake, they could see everything here. Maud knelt down and set her backpack on the side while Trixie practically threw her to the side at Limestones feet and threw herself into Maud with a loud obnoxious sigh and panting.
Limestone glared down at the younger woman setting her own pack down as Trixie wrapped an arm around Maud’s neck enticing a tiny blush from her. Trixie then pulled out her water canteen and took a few large gulps of water and offered it to Maud.
“Water? YOu need to keep yourself hydrated Maud,” Trixie said offering the canteen to her.
Maud took the canteen and had a dainty sip of water. “Thanks Trixie.”
She gave it back to the magician girl who then offered it to Limestone. The older woman swiped the canteen away and took a few sips of water herself. Trixie giggled and leaned into Maud’s shoulder resting her head against hers.
Maud let out a soft ‘eep’ and shuddered at the contact. Limestone spit her water out and nearly dropped the canteen. She put her hands together and stepped behind her sister and Trixie, then with a swift motion she split the two apart with her hands. Maud glared up at her sister and Trixie merely scoffed crossing her arms as Limestone made herself comfortable sitting between them.
“Make yourself comfortable,” Maud said flatly.
Trixie nodded crossing her arms. “Yeah, like totally.”
Limestone grinned wrapping both her arms around their necks and pulled them closer together.
“Hey, I gotta make sure you two keep it clean. Sides, I’m the older sister it’s my duty to protect my little sister's honor,” She said rubbing Maud’s head and then ruffled Trixie’s hair.
Trixie groaned swatting Limestone’s arm away when something on the ground caught her eye. Trixie removed Limestone's arm from her neck and leaned into the dirt to see a small brick of some sort of silver stone lying on the ground. The light reflected off it with great intensity into Trixie’s eyes forcing her to cover them as she inspected the strange stone brick. Strangely enough it had a strange crackling sound coming from is as Trixie picked it up and looked it over.
Maud and Limestone both looked at the brick Trixie found. As trixie twirled it in her hands Limestone closed the canteen of water and just stared at it.
“What is it?” She asked.
Trixie offered the metal to Maud who took it and inspected every inch of for five minutes. Then Maud licked one surface of it. She clicked her tongue a few times looking a the metal over. Finally after ten minutes Muad looked at Trixie and her sister who had anxious looks in their eyes. They knew that if anyone could figure out what it was it would be Maud.
“I have no idea what this is yet,” Maud told them flatly.
Both women deflated instantly.
“I need time to analyze it. I’ll have more details once we get this back to my lab,” Maud added.
Trixie cocked her head.
“You mean that lab you have back in Canterlot City at the Geological Society?” Trixie asked, taking the brick from Maud. “The one you used for all your surveys?”
Maud nodded sipping more water from the canteen as Trixie put the stone brick into her backpack. Limestone stretched her arms over her head and laid on the ground on her back with a smile.
Limestone grinned looking over at Trixie getting her attention. “Good on you Trixie.”
“What for?”
“You may have discovered something new!” Limestone said too cheerful for her liking. “We can call it… Obnoxium.”
Trixie glared at Limestone gripping her hands. “Oh, how about ‘loudmouth-ium’? That has a nice ring to it!”
Trixie fumed but Maud placed a hand on her hands and smiled at her. Trixie Blushed looking away and hid behind her long bangs. Limestone huffed as Maud leaned closer to her sister's ear and whispered a dark secret that forever change Limestone.
When the words rang in her ear, Limestone lost her breath, her heart rate dropped, her eyes dilated and she went very very pale. Without warning she jumped up and screamed running off leaving Maud with a smug grin on her face and Trixie looking completely bewildered. Trixie looked back to Maud who still had her grin on her face.
“What was that about?”
“I told her about what we did in her bed after the Battle of the Bands.”
Trixie suddenly blushed deep red as Maud leaned over and kissed her cheek. Trixie promptly grabbed her bag and Limestone’s and hurried after the older sibling while Maud got up calmly, dusted herself off, and followed them back.
Sunset and Sonata were hanging out with Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity near one of the cabins where Gloriosa was having a nature talk with them about helping to protect the environment with little animal friends. Fluttershy had a few bunny critters on her lap as she listened to Gloriosa talk until she gave the stage to a friend of hers named Tree Hugger.
Applejack, Twilight, and Aria meanwhile were busy cleaning the vehicles while Spike slept nearby. They spent a lot of time on Rarity’s Prius and then sometime on Applejack’s Toyota. They had asked Adagio if she wanted them to clean it up for her but the elder siren said cleaning it would be a waste of time and water.
While they cleaned they got very heated glared from Fluttershy, and Gloriosa. Tree Hugger approached them and asked, “Why do you guys like pollute the world with such macho displays of mechanized masculinity? Isn’t your masculine nature more than enough?” Of course, Applejack and Aria took offense and kindly told her to mind her own business and that they were fine with their, “masculinity/femininity”. Twilight merely smiled and said she was just helping her friends out.
At this time Spitfire was on the grounds watching Adagio closely with Rainbow Dash, who were still sleeping under the tree basking in the sun when a sudden massive tremor awoke them and toppled Spitfire over. Adagio and Rainbow nearly jumped to their feet startled awake from the quake and Spitfire then noticed a series of explosions occurring deep deep in the forest area of Camp Everfree. A series of laser lights shot from the ground and a massive chunk of earth was spit out and flew over the camp landing one opposite side.
Everyone watched the massive hunk of earth fly over them with an eerie feeling fill each of them. Even Spitfire could feel a sense of foreboding danger. The effect was more so in the siren who each hissed and growled as the massive hunk of earth crashed at the opposite side of the camp and blew up sending a few trees in the air. The trees flew just over the tree line and came crashing back down out of sight.
Everyone at Camp Everfree watched where the hunk of earth landed with great anticipation, the sirens however were tense and aggressive hissing. Adagio transformed into her natural form and growled deeply then roared in the direction of the explosion.
Then as if her roar was a signal a massive hulking figure emerged from the treeline where the earth landed. A massive dust cloud formed around it as it spun around. Rainbow grabbed Adagio by wrapping her arms around her neck and pulled the siren back, stroking her scaly cheeks.
“Hey, hang on Adagio. What’s wrong?” Rainbow asked.
Adagio replied by letting out a low growl from her throat. She then used her yes to glance over at Rainbow Dash sending shivers down her spine.
“That’s something… unnatural. Something evil. I can sense it,” Adagio said.
“What are you talking about?”
“I can hear it. Can’t you?” Adagio asked hissing.
Before Rainbow could answer the rest of their friends came running to them from behind along with Gloriosa, her brother Timber, and Spitfire.
“Rainbow what’s going on?” Sunset asked pulling back on Sonata in her siren form.
Applejack was pulling back on Aria who was trying to fly up and was being dragged slightly. Timber was startled at first but once he realized who the creatures were he tried to help keep Aria on the ground by pulling her tail.
“I don’t know! Adagio started acting crazy after that meteor fit over the ridge!”Rainbow said, looking back petting Adagios fins calming the siren a bit.
“That was no meteor.” Spitfire said walking next to Adagio raising a brow.
Adagio snarled at Spitfire and tried to snap at her, but Rainbow Dash managed to hold her back. Spitfire herself didn’t seem all too impressed nor did she flinch when Adagio’s massive jaws nearly clamped in her hand.
Spitfire harrumphed, stuck her nose up and walked over to her niece and nephew giving them a soft worried look. She opened her mouth to speak when a strange roar sounded from where the dust was settling. Everyone looked to see Godzilla standing where the dust cloud was moments ago. His roar echoed across the land as eh stomped the ground with his massive clawed feet and smashed his tail down.
Agin Adagio snarled trying to take off, but Rainbow held her back, or rather when Adagio felt the pull she knew if she flew off rainbow might fall off and get hurt. In truth the sirens were astronomically stronger than humans, the only reason they held back was to not hurt them. Sonata was on the ground like cat ready to pounce hissing up at Godzilla as he roared again.
Adagio and Sonata covered their ears but Aria didn’t seem fazed. Instead she bit Tmiber Sprice in the ankle and headbutted Applejack in teh gut knocking her off. Once free from her friends Aria shook her body like a wet dog would, shaking her chutes as they flexed upright and she flew up into the sky.
She flew fast after her father as he turned and started walking toward Canterlot City. Adagio turned to Sonata and clicked at her. Sonata stopped her growling and shot her head up and looked wide eyed at her sister.
The two sirens chirped and clicked at each other for a short time while everyone watched them. Twilight and Rarity helped Timber Spruce sit down after Aria bit his leg and bandaged him up. He was ever thankful for their help. Spitfire glared up at Godzilla and pulled her cellphone out and made a hasty call.
Adagio and Sonata transformed back to their human forms and gathered everyone up and head towards the camp cabins. As they arrived Trixie, Limestone, and Maud had just got back from their hike and were in full panic mode, minus Maud.
“What’s going on!? Where did that monster come from!?” Trixie cried out to Rarity as they ran to the group.
“No time for questions! We need to follow Aria!” Adagio said running for her tank in the parking lot.
Adagio skid around the back and pulled open the back hatch of her BMP. Adagio had to step back so her feet wouldn’t get hit by the hatch. Sht then ran inside without a moment's hesitation and inserted her starter key and turned it. The tanks engine roared to life rattling the whole frame of the tank.
Sonata was in the back moments later, grabbed a headset and jumped onto the top of the tank near the radar. Everyone else watched in shock as Rainbow, Twilight, and Applejack ran into the tank and slammed the doors shut.
Spitfire ran towards the tank and tried to jump at it but missed as it began to speed away. Missing the tank Spitfire cursed under her breath and looked around to see a big red truck nearby in the parking lot.
Spitfire ran to the truck and with all her might used her elbow to break through the glass window. This set the alarm off and forced her to reach under the steering wheel to break off the alarm box. Once the truck was silent she broke the frame around the steering wheel. She then hot wired the truck jump starting the engine.
Spitfire grinned putting on the seat belt. She then shifted to overdrive and gunned the gas and was off like a shot chasing after the tank with Adagio and her friends in it. Spitfire wasn’t about to let them do anything without her knowing what was going on.
Meanwhile Adagio drove through the trees in part of the camp and managed to find the main road that lead toward Canterlot City. She had to turn hard while driving down a steep hill which cause the tank to slide sideways down a small length of it.
Applejack and Twilight were screaming, Rainbow Dash was trying with all her might to hold her bladder, cursing herself for not being able to use the bathroom before hand, and Sonata was ‘woohooing’ on top of the tank.
As they drove towards Godzilla Sonata watched from the top of the tank as Aria made her way to their father. The violet siren flew in front of him and roared loudly at him. He didn't’ respond. All he did was walk past like Aria wasn’t there completely ignoring her. He then opened his mouth and fired a powerful multicolored beam from his maw.
The bema cut away and blew apart everything it hit creating a clearer path for him to walk unhindered all the way to the city. Aria gasped at the destruction her father caused. His blast had actually hit a small part of the city no doubt hurting many of its citizens.
Aria could only watch in stunned horror as her father marched on, out in the distance she could barely make out the sight of tanks mobilizing as a sort of barricade between Godzilla and Canterlot City.

Here we are another day another chapter. Not major announcements today folks!
The Charge
Aria flew in front of her father and roared at him menacingly. She was surprised he didn’t react as he continued to walk on toward Canterlot City without so much as looking at her. Aria kept adjusting her position to place herself in front of her father to try and get his attention.
She could see off in the distance US tanks were blockading the city limits. She knew from past experiences that it would go badly for them. She called to her father pleading for him to stop. It was undignifying to her, but she was doing it for the safety of others. Humans. Humans who hunted her and her sisters once, some even worshipped them in ancient human times.
Now?
They were but myth and legends to humans aside from their recent dealings with them. For Aria it was a step backwards from her nature. The nature to rule, to dominate. Which begged the question, what did she want from life?
As she pondered this she backflipped in the air and flew towards a tank directly in her father's path. The tank commander a older man in his forties was watching the two monsters exchanging with one another, as he would put it, when one suddenly turned to come towards him and his tank. Worried about this being an attack he ordered a few of his tanks and gunners to shoot down the incoming hostile.
The tanks cannons roared and burst to flames as they fired their heavy shells at Aria. The siren nimbly dodged them, swaying her body side to side as she did. She flew above the tank commander and landed on top of his tank beside him. She coiled her body as to not accidentally injure the human, she knew the others would be cross with her if she did.
She stared up at her father ignoring the humans around her and focused on her father who was steadily closing in.
Then it dawned on her, why did she care about the humans? Her sisters never cared before. So, why did they care now? Aria herself didn’t care if the humans perished. She didn’t care if they were destroyed and their civilization fell. So, what was she doing all this?
Her own satisfaction?
A promise to her sisters?
No, not a promise she never did such a thing. She thought about her friends the Rainbooms, even Trixie and her obnoxious habits. How had she gone from a ruthless siren to a big soft kitty cat in such a short amount of time? The sirens were responsible for some of the greatest calamities and human history, many of which had numerous casualties. They toppled empires, destroyed armies, crushed any opposition with their voices,.
So why did they now help the humans, she wondered.
Why did she degrade herself to help weak humans who rely on others for support?
She glared up at her father and then turned her attention to the human tank commander beside her. He was standing in the tanks top hatch relaying orders to the other humans on his headset. The barrels of the tanks lifted and aimed at Godzilla.
She stared at the human with a fierce gaze. Even though he wasn't looking at her the commander could tell the siren was looking at him. His primal instincts told him to run, but years of discipline kept him in place to do his job. Aria noticed him visibly shaking and heard a slight stutter in his speech.
That’s what she missed.
Fear.
Yes, fear. She looked back at her father again as the tanks began to fire at him completely ignoring her. As she watched she knew this isn’t what how things were suppose to be. She was a siren. A siren was born to rule and dominate. Who was she to break the cycle? The strong survived and thrived. It’s why the sirens use to dominate Equestria. It filled her with pride to think back on the days when her sisters reign terror across the magical lands of the world.
Like the humans against her father there.
The humans used their machines to try and stop him. Their technology being their only defense against him. Like Equestria used its magica against them. Aria knew it was a siren's destiny to rule and conquer, but if that was to be, then why did they lose to an ancient stallion unicorn?
She felt herself deflate as the first shells impacted her father with zero effect. She knew their warships had not enough power to stop him yet here they were with tanks, arguably some of their worst machines trying to stop her father. A force of nature that couldn't’ be stopped.
Yet, deep down she had this tiny feeling in her chest. It pulled at her and made it ache. A feeling of something like sadness filled her as she thought about the humans vain attempt to stop her father. She felt a jolt as the tank she was on began to back up as her father got too close. She looked over to see the tank commander calling for a retreat and regroup.
“-all units, fall back to position 2! Prepare the mazuer tanks for deployment,” he said as his tank fired again, violently jolting it back.
Aria had to brace herself to not be thrown off the tank. She looked back and forth between the tank commander and her father who was turning to face them and give chase. He leaned down on all fours and slowly picked up his pace in a slow trot. He built up speed and began to gallop after the tanks. Aria observed a strange limp he had in his arms and legs. Something in his back legs was not right. She watched as the humans stopped shooting their tank cannons at him and focused on a full retreat. The trees made a slight hinderance to Godzilla.
The tanks weaved in and out of the trees fleeing from the massive kaiju. Not far behind Aria noticed Adagio’s tank was rearing up behind Godzilla.
Adagio was clearly trying to keep a safe distance between them so she lagged behind. Not that it mattered, it was hard to miss a huge building size creature rampaging through the forest, not the trail it leaves behind.
Aria again looked at the tank commander who was just staring at her, but once she turned to face him he quickly averted his gaze. She did catch a hint of his eyes sliding back to her for a brief second then returned to the tanks directions.
Suddenly the tanks came to a clearing where several main roads converged heading towards Canterlot. The roads from here were clear of all vegetation. The path was clear and unhindered. It was a perfect place for the humans to die. So, why did they come here?
Aria got her answer as the tanks suddenly broke apart around massive vehicle platforms with strange almost radar like structures at the end of large cranes on them.
These platforms were large modified trucks and were lined up around the forest area. They had their dishes up and aimed at Godzilla who seemed unaware of them. That is, until they fired long loud lightning beams at him.
These beams emitted a high pitched noise that made Aria flinch and cover her sensitive ears. The tank commander nearly jumped from his porthole when the siren suddenly started roaring in agonizing pain from the sound the mauzer cannons made. He wasn’t sure what to make of it, but what he did know was the creature on his tank was in pain. So, as a good matured human he went down below his tank and came back up with a headset. He awkwardly put them over the sirens ears which muffled the noise around Aria.
It took a few seconds for Aria to notice that the world around her became quieter. She looked up and craned her neck around trying to move her ears but found it hard to do so. See touched her ears and felt something on them. After a minute she realized she was wearing some kind of earmuffs she determined. She looked back at the tank commander who gave her a thumbs up.
Aria turned away from him blushing furiously. She snorted indignantly making the human laugh.
The laughs ended abruptly when the tank commander got an incoming message. Thanks to her heart set Aria heard it too and perked her ears up at the panicked voice she suddenly heard.
*Commander! The mauzers aren’t working anymore! What do we do?*
The commander replied in a calmer manner, “Don’t worry. Bring in unit 2 and 3. Surround him and fire at will. Aim for his legs. We’ll see if we can topple him.”
Aria looked out at her father who had now stopped and was standing perfectly still. Behind him several more mauzer tanks, smaller ones, come from the trees where they came from moments earlier. These tanks however were much smaller. Aria tilted her head thinking they looked like eight wheeled turtles with cannons attached to their backs. They were funny looking things. She forced back a snort of laughter as they clumsily emerged from the trees and fired.
Godzilla again seemed unfazed by the tanks. Aria stared at him intently. She was sure they tanks were doing damage to him. Chunks of his hide ere breaking off but he didn’t seem to notice the tanks were there.
Then Godzilla suddenly stood back on his hind legs and fired a multicolored atomic breath at the ground beneath his feet, and slowly lifted his head to drag the beam across the ground and through a row of tanks destroying them in a fiery explosion.
The attack hit the tanks beside Aria and shook the tank she was on. The tank commander then order the tanks to fall back and regroup at a third point. As they began to move Godzilla shot another breath attack. This time he spun around in a circled destroying at least fifty tanks around him.
This shattered their ranks forcing them to scatter to not get hit by his attack. Aria watched from the tank she was on as the humans scurried like bugs around him. As he spun around the managed to hit the tank Aria was on sending it into a tree shaking the crew and dazing them.
Godzilla reared up to fire again this time however Aria took flight and placed herself between her father and the tank she was on. He expelled his breath again directly at Aria. In a frantic panic Aria used what power of her voice she had reclaimed and screeched back at the blast effectively diverting its short burst and deflecting it.
The attack however left Aria drained. She was a weakened siren against her father, the apex predator of two worlds. She knew it was a folly the moment she realized what she did. For hen she did she had to defend herself against another attack. A second breath attack was expelled from Godzilla instantly after the last, and all the drained siren could do was use her voice to created a protective barrier around herself and the tank behind her. She hummed in a low tone as the magic in her voice circled around her in a pink bubble diverting the breath attack away from her and the tank for the most part.
The attack however didn’t cease as it did before, and Aria found herself straining to keep the barrier up until finally she couldn’t keep it any longer.
The pink barrier broke and the force from the breath attack hit Aria full force sending her into the side of the immobile tank effectively knocking her out.
The tank commander clumsily jumped out of his tank and tried to help the fallen siren. A few Mauzer tanks remained to help support the rest of the retreating tanks. Godzilla diverted his attention to the incoming tanks and destroyed them with another attack from his breath. A few tasks remained and were swept away by a flick of his tail. This sent there main tanks into the air and crashing into the ground in a series of fiery explosions.
From the forest line Adagio and her friends had managed to catch up and saw the exchange of destruction Godzilla had caused. The group exited the small tank and looked over the death and destruction with their own eyes. Sonata looked like she was on the verge of tears, Rainbow was to stunned to speak, and Twilight was being held by Applejack trying to calm her down.
Adagio stepped forward seeing her father roaring into the sky as a ship she recognized came into view.
“Father, why are you doing this?” She asked feeling anger inside her.
Just as she thought this a truck came raging past and drove off into the distance heading straight for Godzilla, and Applejack let out a holler.
“That’s mah truck!”
Meanwhile the tank commander was helping his crew when a large crater came over the trees and slowly hovered above them. The team looked up and recognized the ship and markings on it.
“Sir, it the G-Force and the new Super X,” one of the commanders crewmen said pointing up.
The ship flew off circling wide around Godzilla as he finished with the last of the tanks. He turned his attention to the ship and without hesitating he fired his multicolored atomic breath at the ship. The ship stopped after being hit and activated it’s refractal armor diverting the blast t to minimize the damage as the Super X before.
Once the attack ceased the newly refurbished Super X opened its front shell and shot a light blue beam from a hidden weapon that hit Godzilla in the shoulder blasting away a whole section of his flesh revealing a metallic shoulder bone underneath.
The tank commander saw this but turned his attention to the unconscious creature that saved his team's lives including his own.
He gently caressed the scaly cheeks of the fallen siren when he noticed a large gash on her head. *Must have been from the impact on the tank,* he thought.
“Sir! Incoming!”
The sudden scream of an incoming sent the entire crew into a defensive stance drawing their weapons as a truck came to a skidding halt in front of them. The commander held his hand up signalling his team to hold fire as he looked into the driver's seat. The door opened and Spitfire came out with an angry look on her face.
The commander lowered his weapon and approached the truck after signaling his team to do so as well. Holstering his weapon he approached Spitfire extending an arm pout for a handshake.
“Major, we weren’t expecting you. Thought you were on leave?”
Spitfire shook the commander's hand with an unamused look.
“I was. Then that bastard showed up…” She paused to see the siren near the tank.
Suddenly her mood changed. As the battle raged on behind her she came to the fallen siren and looked it over. The tank commander approached behind her and knelt down beside her as she lifted the creature's head.
“It saved us from him,” He said, gesturing to Godzilla. “Took the lizards breath attack for us twice. It saved us.”
Spitfire didn’t care though. All she saw was a smaller monster before her. She looked back at the truck she had and with a snap of her fingers gathered the attention of the tank crew.
“Listen up all of you! As you know I am Major Spitfire head of the G-Force!” She said standing on the hood of the truck. “What we have here is a chance to get to know these creatures better. I want you to help me gather this beast into the truck and help me take it back to headquarters!”
The tank crew stood where they were. None of them moved at eh Major’s order. This caused Major Spitfire to nearly lose her temper.
“In cause you don’t know how ranking systems work you worthless maggots, MAJOR OUTRANKS ALL OF YOU!!” She yelled at them. “Now get this beast into the truck pronto or I’ll have you all discharged! Now move it!”
The tank commander took this as his que to get his crew to follow the major’s orders.
“Alright everyone,” He said clapping his hands. “You heard the Major! Get this thing in the back of the truck!”
It didn’t take but a moment for the tank crew together their senses and help lift Aria’s unconscious body into the truck. It was a difficult struggle. Despite her small size she was surprisingly heavy. Once the crew managed to get her into the back of the truck, which looked like she would break the suspension, the team gathered in their tank and followed Spitfire back to Canterlot. The tank commander however remained in the back with Aria letting her head rest on his lap as they drove off.
Adagio and the other meanwhile were watching as Godzilla fight back against the G-Force Super X. They were in a stalemate. It was clear neither had the advantage. The Super X couldn’t get another shot off and wasn’t maneuverable enough to flank Godzilla, Godzilla also couldn’t get an angle on the Super X either.
They circled around each other trying to outflank the other.
Then Godzilla doubled back spinning his body around and wiped his tail at the Super X. The attack was so sudden they didn’t have time to respond. The impact knocked the Super X back and wobble in place as it regained its stability, thus temporarily immobilizing it. Godzilla turned to face the Super X’s side and shot another multicolored atomic breath at its side where the refractal armor wasn’t.
The attack badly damaged the side of the hovercrafts stabilizer sending it to the ground. Godzilla stared down at the fallen craft and fired his breath at it again destroying a small portion of the ship. By now, Adagio couldn’t take it anymore. She transformed into her siren for as did her sister Sonata and both of them flew towards the fallen human craft.
Again Godzilla attacked destroying another portion of the Super X.
Then again.
After his third strike at the Super X Adagio and Sonata came in front of him screeching and chirping at him while frantically waving their arms at him. Like Aria before them he completely ignored the calls of his kin and continued his attack.
He attacked again with no regard to his kin standing before him, thus forcing Sonata and Adagio to combine their voices to protect the humans. Having regained her father's blessings Adagio was at the pinnacle of her power easily rivalling her father's power. Thus her power alone was sufficient enough to divert his attack, but with Sonata’s help it was hardly felt at all.
The next attack unfortunately was a powerful swipe of his clawed hand swiping at Adagio and Sonata. Adagio remembered a tip she gave Rainbow Dash when they did some training for Rainbow to understand her siren form better, it was, *Always remember Rainbow, magical barriers are meant to stop magical forces. Blunt force is less effective unless your using magic that is specifically meant for it.*
Unfortunately for Adagio and Sonata this was a time where they applied the wrong type of magic for the situation. The swipe from Godzilla broke through their barrier and knocked both of them into the side of the damaged Super X.
Adagio and Sonata groaned trying onto their sides trying to get up. The pain was unbearable. They both felt as though their bodies were about to break apart from the force of Godzilla’s attack. A moment later the sound of the Super X ejecting its pilots sounded as they went flying into the air.
Adagio barely had the strength to look up to see Godzilla standing on his back legs and roared at the two fallen sirens. The sound of his roar was like listening to thousands of robot cats being thrown into a blender mixed with thousands of nails running down chalkboards to their ears forcing both Adagio and Sonata to cover their ears. Tiny dripped of blood dripped from their eyes nose, and ears, as the roar continued. Both the sirens felt like their heads were going to explode, quite literally in this case. The pressure in their skulls kept increasing and increasing, but just as they were about to accept their unfortunate fates a blue fiery blast hit Godzilla in the side of the head knocking him back and stumble.
Adagio and Sonata looked in the direction of the attack and were shocked by what they saw. From above her there was her father in all his glory. Chest out and prideful then she looked back at the first Godzilla who was now recovering from the attack and stared blankly at the new arrival. The newly arrived Godzilla roared loudly at his counterpart, his voice having a soothing sound to Adagio and Sonata.
The two sirens watched as the massive kaiju stared down his competitor as he began to burn in a bright blue flame that engulfed his body.

Duh duh dhuuuunn!
Here we are again with yet another chapter to LOS: Wildvines! I promise you my loyal readers if you had any doubts to how I was going to implement Gloriosa or Gaia Everfree this was the chapter to solidify it. So a brief spoiler, a new challenger will appear but won't take action until next chapter.
So until then I leave you to wonder who will win the fight to come? What happened to poor Aria? What is Spitfire planning to do with said siren? And what did Spitfire wedge up her butt that made her so salty? I don't know but two stories into it and she's still trying to beat Godzilla with whatever it is!!

Merging
Adagio stared in disbelief as two of her father stared each other down. Moments later the first Godzilla became engulfed in flames, as the second Godzilla fired his atomic breath at the chest of his competitor. The first Godzilla roared loudly as the blast hit his chest blasting away a portion of his chest in a blaze of sparks and fire. A second atomic breath attack followed and blew apart a part of his shoulder revealing more of the metallic underbody from before.
Adagio and the others stared in disbelief.
Rainbow and Applejack were confused and Sonata looked terrified.
“What is that thing?” Rainbow asked pointing up at the metal Godzilla.
Adagio shook her head like a mindless zombie.
“I don’t know Rainbow. I don’t know…”
Sonata sook adagio out of her stupor and pointed at the metal monster like she was having a panic attack.
“DAGI!! It’s a robot! A giant robot!!” The younger siren screamed.
Adagio growled slapping Sonata across the face ending her screaming. Sonata rubbed her sore cheek looking at her sister with a shocked expression. Tenderly she rubebd the growing red hand mark on her cheek as tears welled up in her eyes.
Adagio immediately regretted striking her sister. She always did the sad puppy eyes so well. Everytime she did it broke Adagio’s heart, and even on the worst of days. Like today.
Before Adagio could say anything to her sister, Godzilla roared and charged his metallic doppelganger. The two bashed head first into each other. Godzilla stumbled back in a slight daze while his metallic counterpart stood upright and bent backwards slightly. Opening it’s mouth the metal Godzilla leaned forward quickly and shot a set of rainbow colored eye beams at Godzilla. The two beams hit him square in the chest causing a massive explosion of blood and flesh on his chest.
Godzilla fell backwards and on his side whining in pain. The sounds of the mechanical abomination hissing as it stepped forward towards the wounded Godzilla sent a surge of anger in Adagio and Rainbow alike.
Then as if a long lost predatory instinct kicking in, Rainbow transformed into her siren form with Adagio and both flew into the sky and landed on the robot's back. The two sirens climbed its back and found a seam where the neck began to separate into different segments to allow the neck to bend. This design allowed small portions of the internal to be revealed which is what they were after. Adagio glanced over to Rainbow and like siamese twins they nodded and pushed their scaley muzzles into the largest of these openings.
Both of them inhaled and fired magical fire into the machine hoping to damage it. Then something happened they didn’t expect. Both of them felt their bodies spaz as the robot glowed bright blue as a powerful electrical barrier formed around the surface of the Mechagodzilla. The power of the shock attack sent both of them flying far away and back into the side of Adagio’s tank. Sonata and Applejack had to roll to the sides to not get crushed by their friend hulking sizes.
The impact left a large impression in the side of the tanks steel/ceramic plating. An impressive feat considering the impact was made by two things made of flesh and bone.
The two sirens turned back into human form. Rainbow and Adagio both groaned in pain. Applejack helped Adagio leaning her against the side of the tank while Sonata assisted Rainbow. Once their friends were deemed okay, Applejack and Sonata stood by and watched as Godzilla continued his struggle against his mechanized foe.
Godzilla managed to stand up on all four legs and rammed the mechagodzilla sending them both to the ground. It was at this moment Godzilla saw Sonata and Applejack holding onto each other, and behind them was the injured figures of Rainbow and his daughter Adagio.
The sight of his kin hurt sent a chill throughout his body. Then something primal inside began to surface. A feeling. A feeling he hadn’t felt in over a millenia. Something so powerful that the only thing that there was only one other thing that could match it in strength.
Paternal fury.
*Camp Everfree*
Gloriosa was horrified. Horrified of the immense destruction that had befallen her beloved camp. The same camp her family made and was part of their heritage.
The dock was all but destroyed by a powerful beam that annihilated part of the forest with it. All around her destruction lay before her. Her beloved camp all but ruined. Part of the mountainside was missing and a path of trees towards Canterlot City were crushed by the monster that appeared. Enraged Gloriosa ran into the forest.
It was difficult for her to see through her tears stained eyes. Everything was a blur. Her vision as well as her mind. All she cared about was getting to her destination. She had to find her friend. As she ran she heard whispers around her. At first she dismissed them as figments of her imagination.
Then she heard the whispers again. Slowing down she took a minute to gauge her surroundings. She could hear nothing but the whispers. Once there was sounds of birds and squirrels all around. Now nothing. Then she noticed a green thorny plant vine slithering closer towards her.
At first she wanted to run but the whispers grew louder as the vine crept towards her. This made her stay as her curiosity overrode her fear, and she knelt down to inspect the plant up close. The vine stopped inches from her face and from the tip a bud appeared and started to bloom into a beautiful red rose with three yellow mandibles in the center.
“What are you?” Gloriosa asked the plant.
At first nothing happened, and the young woman staraed at h explant feeling she was losing her mind. Then suddenly from the mandibles a small rainbow colored ball of energy emerged from the rose and floated closer to Gloriosa. It floated just inches above the ground and from all around her a soothing voice spoke.
“Young mortal, hear me.” The voice said softly.
Gloriosa stepped away from the ball of energy. Her fear slowly taking over again. The ball of energy stayed out but the voice spoke again with a hint of desperation.
“Please don’t go. I need your help,” It said.
Glorious stood her ground, but remained ready to flee at a moment's notice.
“Who-what are you?” She asked the ball of energy.
“I have gone by many names over thousands of years you Gloriosa,” The voice said. “Do not be afraid. For I have watched you since you were a small child prancing in my woods.”
“Okaaaaay. Not creepy at all,” She said looking around expecting to find someone around her with a camera. “Who are you?”
“I am called many things by you humans, but YOU know me better as the Fabled Spirit Gaia Everfree.”
“What? Really?!”
Gloriosa held her hands against her chest and looked at the tiny magical ball. She had a huge grin on her face like a kid in a candy store.
“You’re Gaia Everfree!?”
“Indeed child, but now’s not the time. I need your help,” Gaia said sternly. “There is an evil presence in Camp Everfree and the monster you encountered is not of this world. We must expel its evil from the world.”
Gloriosa took a step back looking unsure.
“What can I do? I’m just a human. I have no powers like you do,” She openly stated.
Gaia took a moment to float closer to Gloriosa as fly around her.
“I must be honest child. What I’m about to propose is dangerous. If you want I will not ask it of you. All i ask is that you listen to my plea.”
Gloriosa thought about it for moment. What harm was there in hearing the great spirit out?
“Alright. I’ll listen.”
“Thank you. For a long time now I have been trapped in these lands. Magically entrapped and cast away from my home by a powerful wizard, Starswirl the Bearded and his hussy Clover the Clever.”
“I’m sorry. That sounds awful,” Gloriosa said sadly.
“Your words are kind child. For thousands of years I lived in another world. When I was cast here I became trapped in these woods. This was my home, and I was alone. Until your ancestors came forth and cultivated my land and thus was born Camp Everfree in my name.”
The spirit paused as two roars echoed in the distance.
“My power is directly tied to the condition of the land. In this state I am very weak and can not defend my home. I need a vessel to where I can use my powers in full, this is what I ask of you chld.”
Without thinking Gloriosa jumped on the opportunity to help save her camp by taking up the spirits proposal.
“I say let’s do it then!” She said pumping her fist in the air.
Gaia however seemed more restrained.
“Child listen. The power I offer is strong, but you will not control it. I will through you. The transition is… dangerous for mortals to do. You may not survive.”
That stopped her in her tracks. While Gloriosa wanted to save her camp, there had to be a line drawn to how far she’d go. She still had her family to think about. Her brother, her aunt Spitfire. Then there was the camp itself. Timber would never be able to run the place by himself. She couldn’t ask her aunt to quit the Air Force to take care of it, and ll her remaining relatives didn’t live close enough to help. That left just her and her brother to take care of the cmap.
Then a realization hit her. She couldn’t run the place if it was smoldering ruins. That and her life revolved around this place. She literally had nothing else to live for. The camp was her calling and it was here she was her most happy.
Deciding she would have nothing left to lose if she lost her camp she nodded to the spirit.
“I’ll help you. Just help me keep my camp safe.”
“Then offer yourself to me and let us commence with communion,” Everfree said calmly.
Gloriosa nodded closing her eyes and opened her arms to the small ball of energy, indicating she was open to its offer. The spirit of Gaia Everfree floated around its potential partner. Slowly the spirit of Gaia Everfree floated towards Gloriosas chest.
The human girl embraced the spirit and a strange feeling of warmth filled her from her toes, fingers, and her very core. At first the warmth was subtle but eventually with a minutes time the energy from Gaia Everfree filled her and began to expel from her eyes and mouth in a brilliant radiant glow.
Then as if she left her body, Gloriosa submited control of her body to Gaia Everfree. The transition was painless as the two merged into one entity. Gaia’s thought and memories merged into one with the thoughts and memories of Gloriosa. Then all things came to view.
The man Gloriosa worked with wasn’t her friend. He was a monster. A conquerer of worlds. His name was Kuronuma, a alien from another world far from the Sol System. Images of him destroying the earth and building a base in the core of Camo Everfree and talks he made with Gloriosa and the lies he told became clear to the young woman. Enraged she clenched her fist as her body began a metamorphosis.
All around her green plant vines slithered around her body like a cocoon. The tendrils pierced her body and filled her with powerful magical forces. HEr body withdrew into the ground disappearing from sight.
Far out in the center of Camp Everfree lake thousands of vines pierced the water and coiled over themselves. They grew and grew fusing and mingling together like a primal power of nature. Once the plants reached to where they could see beyond the confines of the Everfree Forest and Canterlot they stopped growing. From the top Gloriosa emerged. Her body had changed. Her once dark skin was now pale and grey. Her clothes gone and replaced by plant like growth that covered her and her hair, now blue and sweet smelling flowed like a current of water. Large red vines of poison ivy coiled around her body and kept her suspended over the plant tower.
She looked over the thick forest to the two monsters now fighting just beyond the trees. With a sneer she held out one arm stretching her fingers in the direction of the two kaiju fighting. She could sense them. One was of flesh and bone, the other was machine yet both were foreign to this world. A danger to this world. It was clear to Gloriosa and Gaia Everfree, that if they wanted to protect what they both cherished most they would have to expel the foreign garbage from the world.
Raising her arms the newly formed entity of Gaia and Gloriosa proclaimed, “Hear me earth and listen to my call. I am Gaia Everfree! I am the protector of this land and with my host who too protects this land hear our plea!”
All around her vines flew from the water and earth around the base of the tower she created and slither up beside her like knights listening to a queen.
“Powers of the earth, sea, and air, lend us the power to expel the evils from here. Give us the power to protect what we value most! Our home! Our families! Our livelihoods! So says I Biollante! Protector of these lands!”
After the pact was made the tower of vine behind her, as if granting her wish, opened up into a large red rose with many mandibles around the pistil. Once this was done Biollante was pulled into the plant and swallowed to just above the base where the stem of the large rose swelled up into a large red and green veined sac. Inside the sac a mixture of pure water and sweet nectar filled and inside was Biollante, floating in the clear red filtered liquid.
With her sinister sneer she gripped her hands and looked in the direction of Godzilla and his mechanical counterpart through the eyes of nature. Seeing the two engaged in battle she could feel the plants around them bend to her will. With this power Biollante would bring swift destruction to the invaders and save Everfree.
“It’s time to destroy the invaders.”
Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines
It was strange how life changes in the blink of an eye.
For Rainbow Dash it all started when sunset Shimmer came through the portal near her High School and started taking it over. Since then she learned to use magic powers, defeated Sunset Shimmer in a demon form, helped defeat three sirens in a musical magic showdown, and fell in love with one of the said sirens, and met her father and became one herself. Now, here she was again facing another change. A giant robot.
Life was never dull in Canterlot.
Rainbow Dash and Adagio stood by staring at the two kaiju clashing near by. Twilight and Applejack remained near the tank and watched as their friends dared to approach.
Godzilla was in the offensive. His natural body allowed a great deal of freedom in movement. His mechanized counterpart was very agile as well, but it was clear that Godzilla had the advantage in speed and maneuverability.
He easily circled his opponent and smashed his body into the back of his foe. Both flesh and machine toppled over and rolled over the ground as the remaining tanks retreated. Far off the G-Force was being collected and taken back to the city leaving their ruined super X craft behind.
The mechagodzilla turned his head around while Godzilla was atop him, and clawed at his metal face. Sparks flew from the metal as Godzilla’s claws scratched the surface of the machine. Now physical damage was made to the silver metal. Mechagodzilla counterattacked with a point blank blast from its mouth beam. The force of the attack forced Godzilla off him with a pained screech as a chunk of his flesh blew apart and cloud of red blood sprayed everywhere.
With a whimper of pain Godzilla turned his back to is foe. That was a mistake. Free from Godzilla the mechagodzilla turned around and blasted Godzilla in the back with his breath beam and stiked Godzilla’s back with enough force to send him to the ground. Several of his back schutes broke apart from the blast, and sent the pieces all over the place with a cloud of red blood splattering about.
Adagio and Rainbow cringed seeing him get hit so hard and the massive injury only seemed to make it worse for them.
Suddenly from all around them massive green vines ripped through the ground and loomed over both the fallen Godzilla and his mechanized counterpart. Seconds passed and nothing happened. Godzilla was still hunched over recovering from his injury. The mechagodzilla didn’t wait. Without any sort of provocation it extended its right arm out and from a small port along its forearm a high speed missile fired out. The exhaust of the missile extended form the arm all the way to its target, one of the vines.
The Missile hit the vine with enough force it tore through and continued on until it collided with the forest line. Unfortunately it was very close to Adagio and Rainbow. Adagio shifted into her siren forms while Adagio put up a magical barrier to protect Rainbow. From the tank Sonata kept any debris from falling on Applejack, who decided she was out of her league and took refuge inside the BPM.
Godzilla by now had recovered from his stunned state and was back on his hind legs ready to fight again. His attention however wasn’t on his clear mechanized foe, but the plant like tendrils that swayed in the wind from the ground.
He could sense something primal. Something familiar coming from them. A magical presence he hadn’t felt in ages. A powerful magic that was chaotic and obsessed with nature. With a mighty roar Godzilla’s vice echoed over the entire land far past the Everfree forest and beyond Canterlot City shaking it slightly.
Far in the center of Camp Everfree, Biollante squirmed feeling the mighty voice regurgitate in her roots. Inside Gloriosa cringed at the powerful voice. Her ears rang in pain even with the protective sac of fluid around her. She could sense Gaia’s unease from the voice as well. Their linked minds sent images between them and Gloriosa was bombarded with images of long past when Gaia once battled a fearsome beast, the one she knew as Godzilla.
*Were they really from another world?* She thought in her mind.
*Yes, we were.* Gaia responded mentally.
Gloriosa flinched at Gaia’s thoughts. She hadn’t heard from the nature spirit for sometime now since they merged, and was caught by surprise.
*Sorry Gaia, I’m still not use to this… connection we have.*
Gaia gave the young woman a calm soothing sensation in her thought. These thoughts helped ease Gloriosa's tension until Gaia focused on Godzilla again. From where they were they could see him in their minds. A crystal clear image sent to them by magic through the very plants that grew from them and connected to the earth. Gloriosa extended her view to the city where she could see from the tallest tree to the most isolated weed in the cracks on the ground.
*I never thought I could see the world like this.* Gloriosa thought looking at the camp as Trixie, Maud, and Limestone were trying to leave with Rarity, Twilight, Pinkie and Fluttershy. *Gaia, we aren’t going to hurt anyone, right?* Gloriosa asked the spirit.
*No, we won’t hurt your friends.* The answer came swift from Gaia. It was complimented by a deep feeling of compassion that made the young woman’s heart flutter. It was a loving compassion for all living things of Earth, and it made her feel better. Following this was a sharp pain as her attention went back to Godzilla and mechagodzilla as they resumed a three way fight between themselves and Gaia.
*Sigh, this is gonna be a long day, but I will save my camp.*
Gloriosa thought loudly and then her thoughts went back to the Chief. As the battle raged on Gloriosa thought about him and Gaia took note of this. For a brief moment she had a feeling of pity for the human and her naivete, but that would be a conversation for another time.
*Unknown location*
Aria’s head was ringing. She was on the border of consciousness as she tried to stay awake long enough to make sense of the world around her. For a moment she could see the man who was beside her in the tank standing over her. Her eyes closed and for a while the world was black as voices echoed around her.
She cold feel her body moving, but not from her own command. Moments later a roaring engine came to be and she felt like her head was going to split. She kept opening her eyes and saw the man over her. She was in the back of a truck with many others like him. She barely had time to notice the man had his hand on the ridge of her scaley nose and was gently rubbing it. HIs gloved hands caught against her thin and tiny scales but ran comfortingly nonetheless upon her muzzle as she completely blacked out.
Some time later the noises stop. She was then awoke from a cold sensation on her belly. It took some time, but she managed to fully awake from her blacken world into a sterile white one surrounded by machines. She found herself strapped to a large table in her siren form. There were massive straps and metal braces holding her down snugly against the cold steel table. Several suction wires were attached to her entire body and several IV’s inserted into her body. Nearby a machine monitored her heart beat, another for her brainwave activity, and many others she couldn’t imagine what they were for.
She heard the sound of a door opening and approaching footsteps from behind her. Two figures came to her sight in white biohazard suits and stood in front of her. She growled at them making one flick but the other stood their ground, kicking her muzzle with their boot.
Aria grunted in pain as the boot pressed against her nose as a trail of blood ran from her nostrils. The doors opened again and the human took their boot off Aria’s nose and wipe a long red stain on the ground.
“What do we know about it?” A familiar deep feminine voice asked from behind her view.
“We don’t know ma’am,” A male voice Aria recognized replied. “All we know is the creature is durable, possess some kind of power, and can hit a tank hard enough to dent it and live.”
“Humph, what about its intelligence?” The woman asked walking around Aria.
Once the woman came into view Aria recognized her immediately. It was Major Spitfire. She was in her Officer blue uniform. Aria was warned about this woman from her sister Adagio and backed up by Rainbow Dash. They warned her that Spitfire had a certain, ruthlessness to her when dealing with kaiju. Especially if it pertained to their father, Godzilla.
Spitfire knelt down coming eye to eye level with Aria. Her eyes were fierce for a human. It was almost as piercing as Adagios back when she wanted to rule the world. It made Aria’s blood chill, nothing made her blood chill unless it was Adagio. Aria looked away and focused on the blood stain on the ground, and Spitfire scoffed grabbing her ear violently and yanked it to the side making Aria’s head turn with it and rub against the binding.
“Doesn’t look so tough. Doctors, what have you learned from this, thing?” Spitfire spat.
The timid scientist stepped aside and allowed his colleague to speak.
“We learned a lot about its anatomy Major,” She said, looking down at her clipboard. “They have incredible muscle mass, bone density is far greater than reinforced steel, and these spines on its back seem to emit some kind of radiation we haven’t been able to identify.”
Spitfire was still holding Aria by the ear. Aria struggled against the hold bat a firm grip kept her sensitive ear and head to the side.
“Is it dangerous radiation?” The male voice asked from the side, joust out of Aria’s view.
The scientist shook her head.
“No, sir. It’s not lethal at all. In fact it seems to be the source of another great feature of the creature. It’s highly regenerative abilities,” She said walking away from view.
Spitfire released Aria’s ear and turned to walk away. Aria snapped her maw at the human but Spitfire ignored her. From her left Aria saw the tank commander come into view. He had a sad look on his face as he looked down at the siren. A pitiful look that took mercy on her situation.
Aria hated having someone pity her, but she wasn’t in any position to be complaining. Considering she was captured it was almost ironic that she was held captive after she saved the humans lives. Then again, Spitfire was involved and her capture was almost 100% her doing.
Aria’s gaze went from the tank commander to the scientist who had one of the chutes on a silver metal tray. The large bony spine was only a chunk of the whole thing. It was sharp and jagged in the shape of a duck foot with one long middle toe. The scientist held it up and pointed to Aria’s back. Spitfire and the commander looked to see a rounded portion of one schute that looked newer and less jagged than the rest of it.
“This, we took off two hours ago,” The scientist said walking quickly to Aria’s side and touched the chute. “See? In just a few hours it has already begun to regrow and an exceptional rate.”
Spitfire and the tank commander ‘oohed’ at the incredible regrowth of the scales. It was then the commander noticed something else on a nearby notepad. A diagram of Aria that showed a general outline of her body at length with a red section in her head that extended all the way through her body to the end of her tail, but with no text.
Pointing to the clipboard he asks, “What’s this diagram for, Doctor?”
The woman looked over where he was pointing, picking up the clipboard she looked it over the diagram for a minute before answering.
“This is Professor Scratches. It's a brain scan we did of the creature,” She said giving it to Spitfire to see as well. “As you can see we did extensive brain scans and found, this.”
Spitfire regarded the diagram but wasn’t sure what it was. Whatever it was it wasn’t a brain scan. She eventually gave the board back to the scientist and placed her hands on her hips and leaned her weight on one leg.
“Okay, I give up. What is it?” She asked.
The scientist adjusted her coat taking the diagram and showing it to th em both.
“Here,” She pointed to the head. “It the where the head is, Major. The brain is usually housed completely there. This creature-”
“Siren,” Spitfire added.
“Excuse me, a what ma’am?” The woman asked.
“That thing is called a siren. I’ve run into them before,” Spitfire said, gesturing to Aria behind her with her thumb making her snap angrily at her.
“I, see,” The scientist said continuing. “Anyways, this siren, seems to have a brain that extends beyond her cranial cavity. It follows along the base of the spine and down to the tail. What’s more interesting is it had multiple functions. There are sections of its brain that do different things!”
Spitfire and the tank commander noticed the woman's eager happy expression as she gushed on about the sirens abilities. This however really intrigued them, but for different reasons. The tank commander was interested in knowing what his violent violet savior could do, Spitfire just wanted to know how to kill it; and this might be a way to find out how to.
“So what can it do?”
“Well, essentially we determined three basic functions. Energy distribution and regulation, normal brain functions, and something else we can’t determine.”
That last one caught everyone's attention.
“What do you think it is, doctor?” The commander asked, looking concerned.
“We won’t know until we run more tests I’m afraid.”
Spitfire nodded and turned to face Aria face to face. She got within inches of Aria’s nose. With a low growl Aria barred her teeth at Spitfire as the woman grinned cockily at her.
“Very well, continue your test doctor. Let us know if you find anything else out. This has been most enlightening.”
With that Spitfire left leaving the scientists and the tank commander behind. The two scientists continued to do scans and tests while the man stood by Aria the entire time. He kept a close eye on her as if expecting something to happen to her. Aria took noticed of the concerned look he had and how he would always ask what the test would do to her, or if they’d harm her. Aria remained wary of the humans around her, even the commander. She had been around a long time and she knew the human heart was a fickle thing.
She would not be hurt again...
Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines
Deep in Camp Everfree, Gaia known as Biollante with Gloriosa, was in full concentration in her fight against Godzilla and the mechagodzilla. The fight had been grueling and long, going on for well over an hour now, and both Godzilla and his mechanized counterpart were starting to falter.
The mechagodzilla was badly damaged and was sparking at the joints with every movement it made. Godzilla, though massive and hardy himself was of only flesh and blood, and even his strength was weakening.
He panted heavily with his chest alone while Gaia was fighting the robotic monstrosity and the plant vines controlled by Gaia/Gloriosa.
Adagio watched feeling her anger rising with each passing blow her father was dealt. Rainbow too felt a primal urge deep in her. It felt almost instinctual, calling to her. Like an echoing cry for help, but you had no idea where it was coming from.
Adagio transformed into her siren form and took to the sky again, but this time Rainbow felt an instinctual urge to follow. So she did. Rainbow back flipped and transformed into her new siren form and took off after Adagio. The two sirens flew across the sky after the plant vines. Rainbow still hadn’t had extensive use of her siren body so all she could do was bite and claw the vines with her teeth and screech loudly at it.
After taking a bite of one vine Rainbow was swatted by another vine to the ground. The impact was so great it left her in a body sized crater, cut and bruised. In her daze she shook her head to clear her head from the daze. As her vision cleared she saw Adagio looking down at her in shock, then contorted to what could best be described as unbridled rage.
Adagios muzzle scrunched up, bared teeth, and with a loud gurgling snarl she opened her mouth. Her lower jaw dislocating it to get it open even more. A jetstream of flames erupted from Adagio’s mouth burning away the vines that were coming at her, completely incinerating them. A magical ring then appeared around the base of the flame that Rainbow recognized as a song spell. Adagio had briefly mentioned them while teaching her to fly that all siren powers were derived from their voices as were their spells and magical abilities.
This spell condensed the flames into a concentrated beam that went from red to a bright white color of blinding light. The bean hit the ground digging into the earth and created a small hole as the beam cut through the surface. Then with a snap of her neck Adagio sent the beam hurling around her hitting all the vines and destroying them, all while avoiding the city and her friends around her. Her father managed to duck in time to miss getting hit completely but the mechagodzilla was hit full force in the chest and head. Chunks of metal and sparks flew from its metal body as it fell to the ground in a fiery explosion.
As the beam dissipated adagio whipped it out towards Camp Everfree. As the fates would have it Gaia/Gloriosa was in its direct path. In a panic Gaia created a barrier of plants and earth to protect herself and host, but the blast was too powerful and the barrier was penetrated by the beam. It wasn’t powerful enough to pierce Gaia’s newly formed body, but the damage had significantly wounded Gaia/Gloriosa’s protective vital sac.
PLant plasma blood flowed from the wounds as Gaia screeched in pain submerging herself into the lake. Her green blood filled the lake killing everything within it in seconds and turned it a dark green.
Meanwhile the mechagodzilla was squirming on the ground badly damaged. A small antenna came out from a small hatch atop its head and pinged a signal out. The signal transmitted to a receiver station way back at Camp Everfree where a man watched the fight from a monitor in what appeared to be an underground facility.
He was in a metallic suit like it was made from a flexible aluminum, he had an almost asian look with dark eyes and a dark tattoo over his left eye. HE sat in a chair sipping a wine in a wine glass when one of three officers below him at computer terminals turned to face him.
“Chief, mechagodzilla controls aren’t responding. We can’t continue operations!”
The Chief, a man named Kuronuma sighed putting his glass down on his chair and stood up.
“Damn it. We have to postpone our attack on Canterlot,” He stepped away from his chair placing his hands behind his back. “Bring mechagodzilla back for repairs.”
“Yes, sir!”
The officer turned back to his controls. After flipping three red switches a signal was sent back to the mechagodzilla. Once received from the head transmitter it retracted and sealed within the head. Then mechagodzilla clumsily scrambled to its four legs, and with a clumsy run it made its way back to the ocean diving head first into it with a mighty splash, and disappeared under the waves.
Back on land Godzilla was breathing heavily. His chest was badly cut and scarred and Adagio was just as bad off. In the air she panted after her attack and was left drained of her energy.
She collapsed falling in the air to the ground just in time to fall in synch with her own father, who had collapsed just as she did. Both their bodies hit the ground simultaneously. Godzilla shook the world as Rainbow craned her sirne neck over to see Adagio lying not far from her in her siren form. Twilight, Applejack, and Sonata were running towards them yelling their names.
For Rainbow, who was barely conscious her ears rang after Godzilla impacted the earth so close. Her body was sore and her vision still blurred, she climbed out of the hole she was in with her arms. The arms were almost hoof like and she used all her strength to get over to Adagio’s body.
With a soft whine she nudge the older sirens cheek with the tip of her nose. Adagio’s eyes fluttered and opened looking back at Rainbow. With a warm smile she neach back and nuzzled Rainbow’s nose with her own as they both reverted back to their human forms. Rainbow was naked, her clothes destroyed when she transformed, but for Adagio this outfit she wore was her own scales. Both collapsed to the ground in each others embrace passing out.
*Aria*
Aria hated the tests being done to her. Scan after scan, after scan. It was always scan her leg, scan her body, or something about her. Even as a siren in Equestria Aria always hated being in the spotlight. She hated being the center of attention, but she did it to survive.
Now, all she wanted to do was rip the scientist who were studying her. One of them she recognized. It was a younger woman in a white lab coat with neon blue spiked hair, pale skin, and always had a headset on and stupid looking glasses. Aria remembered her from the Battle of the Bands, instrumental for the Rainbooms to defeat them. Both figuratively and literally.
Oh, how she hated the silent treatment that human gave her everytime she did try to speak to her. At first Aria was sure she was being rude and giving her the silent treatment, but after being accepted back to CHS Aria learned that the girl, Vinyl, was actually mute.
After graduation she disappeared for years and didn’t resurface until Aria was captured.
“Who would have thought I’d be captured and examined by you of all people?” Aria said bitterly at Vinyl.
The younger woman glanced at Aria and lifted her shades revealing her dark red eyes. Vinyl squinted at Aria and then placed her shades back on and pulled out a pair of pliers and approached Aria.
What are you- GAH!!!”
Aria struggled to move her head, but the straps held her head still as Vinyl pried a tooth from her mouth, ripping it out like it was nothing.
*HISSS!!* Aria snarled at Vinyl, who stared at her casually before reaching with her free hand and patted her gently on the head.
Aira kept growling at her and eve tried to bite her hand, but a voice suddenly broke the silence from behind Aria’s massive body.
“So, as we thought the filthy beast can speak,” Said the voice, as spitfire stepped into view. “Let’s make this easy, Aria.”
Aria narrowed her eyes dangerously at Spitfire. To her credit, most people flinched in fear of Aria, despite being strapped to a table. But Spitfire? No, she didn’t fear Aria. In fact, she gave the siren a cocky grin caressing the sirens cheek. Despite growling Spitfire was not deterred from caressing the sirens cheek until she finished.
“I know you can tell me about Godzilla. OUr test show your DNA is over 80% similar to his,” Spitfire said, leaning over Aria and resting her hands on the table where Aria was trapped. “ What are you? What is his weaknesses? Tell me and I’ll let you go, and I won’t go after Adagio anymore.”
Aria scoffed looking away with her eyes, since her head was also strapped down.
“I have nothing to say to you,” Aria looked up at Spitfire. “You slaty bitch.”
Aria and Spitfire didn’t say anything for a moment, but Aria could sense a rising tension in Spitfire. She hit a nerve with her comment. And if this feeling wasn’t anything, the visible twitch in Spitfire’s eye made it clear as day to the siren.
Spitfire though slowly let her lip curl into a cruel smile. The officer reached behind her and pulled out a small four inch knife. She looked at the blade like she was inspecting it. Aria looked at the blade for one second, then in the blink of an eye Spitfire drove the knife into Aria’s bulky shoulder. Aria cried out in pain and Vinyl looked like she was ready to jump in when Spitfire withdrew the blade.
“Cute… very cute,” Spitfire hissed venomously at aria as she wiped the blade clean.
“Of course such defiance comes with a price. I hope you’re willing to pay for it,” Spitfire said walking away, and sheathing her knife. “Continued your research Mrs. Scratch Philharmonica!”
Aria saw Vinyl salute silently and went back hastily to work. Aria occasionally glanced over at Vinyl who was hard at work. A moment later though the tank Commander came in with a medical kit. Vinyl intercepted him, but the man pulled rank on her and forced her to step aside. Clearly Vinyl as more afraid of Spitfire than losing her job or court martial, but after much pleading from the Commander she reluctantly allowed him into the area where Aria was. As he went to enter Vinyl held up a taser to him to take.
“I won’t be needing that.”
Vinyl looked at Aria once more then shrugged and went dutifully back to work. The Commander went over to Aria and gently placed the medical kit nearby as he knelt in front of the siren.
He gently touched the wound, making Aria flinch and growl. He flinched himself at the growl, but kept a steady hand and ran his hand down the top of Aria’s snout.
“Rough to the touch, but I can sense there is a soft heart deep down,” HE said kindly.
Aria snapped her jaw.
“Are you calling me soft, human?” Aria asked spitefully.
The man shook his head. “No, I just mean I can tell you’re not as mean as you act like.”
He stitched up Aria’s wound after he applied some antibiotics to it and then began to bandage it. Aria reluctantly let him finish. Once he finished he patted her neck making Aria blush slightly. As he stood up to leave Aria coughed getting his attention.
“Look, not like I wanted you to help me or anything, but…” She puffed her cheeks blushing even more. “Thanks for the help. And, not making a fuss about me being a monster like the rest of these lot.”
The Commander smiled nodding at her, “No problem. Names Kyle by the way.”
“My name is Aria.”
Kyle nodded smiling at her before turning to leave. Aria rested her body and allowed Vinyl to continue to do research on her long into the night when Aria finally feel asleep.
Author's Note
So now we have a name for the Tank Commander! His name is Kyle! I know not a terribly MLP style name, but I was feeling very lazy about it. I know that's not what you should do for characters like this, but a simple name for a simple character is the best I feel.
So now all parties are revealed, and what has Vinyl Scratch done over the last few years to start working with the G-Force? What is Kuronuma's plan and what is mechagodzilla exactly? What is Gaia's plans? G-Forces?
Well, actually the G-Force should be obvious by now.
Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines
Adagio awoke to the sound of light chatter around her. Her head throbbed in pain like she was hit over and over with a metal bat. Gripping her temples and massaging them with her fingers she slowly opened her eyes to a piercing light.
Slowly her senses came back and she found herself in a bed in a room that she didn’t recognize. It was a simple room with the bed she slept in, a large dresser, and nightstand, and a built in closet to her left. Beside it was a door that was closed, and just beyond that she could hear the voices continuing to talk in a more excited volume now. Shifting her weight in the bed Adagio realized someone was sleeping next to her under a thick blanket beside her.
Lifting the blanket she saw the sleeping form or Rainbow Dash beside her. She was wearing a white tank top and green sleep shorts. The young prismatic haired woman snored sound asleep, but the covers left her exposed to the cool air making her shiver, causing her to shift closer to Adagio and snuggle against her.
With a sweet smile Adagio kissed Rainbow on the forehead and covered her up again. ONce Rainbow was covered Adagio slipped from the bed slowly to not awaken her lover and slowly crept out of the room.
Adagio gently opened the door, it’s old frame creaking as she opened it and slipped through. Closing it behind her it took but a few steps down the hall for her to piece together where she was. Along the hall there were pictures of a group of people she knew well, the Apple Family.
Several pictures were aligned down the hallway leading to a staircase at the end. Pictures of Applejack with Apple Bloom and their brother Big Mac. Some were of Granny Smith over the decades. Some baby pictures of Applejack and Apple Bloom, and even one of Big Mac.
Absent was any sign of Applejack’s parents. As Adagio learned recently, never ask about the parents. Apparently whatever happened didn’t end well, so the Apple Family, or what’s left of them, never speak about it. Even Apple Bloom never asked, but in strict confidence told Adagio that even she wanted to know what happened to her mother and father, but no one would tell her.
It was sad to think about.
As Adagio made her way down the stairs she thought back on her own life. Just a few years ago she was trying to take over the world by absorbing the Rainbooms magic with her sisters. Now? Now, she was in love with one of them, as were her sisters. *OH, how our lives have changed.* She thought stepping lightly down the stairs.
As she reached the bottom there voices of her friends came from the other room. Then a harsh, “SHHH!” Silenced them all at once as the voice of a news reporter reached Adagio’s ears.
“-in latest news Godzilla was battling a mechanical counterpart similar to himself when eyewitnesses say, ‘a large plant monster broke from the earth and attacked both’. Shortly afterwards two smaller creatures were seen assisting Godzilla in driving back these kaiju. Once defeat the plant retreated to the earth only to reemerge a few hours later-” *A few hours later?!* Adagio scream in her mind. *How long have I been out?* Alarmed by this she listened in on the news report again. “-the latest reports indicate that Godzilla has returned to sea and the plant monster has created a large plant barrier around Camp Everfree trapping several people inside.”
The reporter looked to the side when another reporter, a woman in red, came on screen.
“In related news, a tank crew who was defending against Godzilla captured on of the smaller creatures and have taken it to the Avalon Air Base just outside Canterlot City. Major Spitfire of the G-Force, has been reportedly been seen entering and leaving the base for the last day every few hours-” *BEEP*
The TV shutdown as Applejack casually tossed her remote on the table in the living area. Sunset and Twilight were sitting on the couch while Sonata was pacing back and forth just behind them. Sunset sighed turning around and threw herself on the back o f the couch and grabbed Sonata by the wrist stopping the siren's pacing.
“Sonata, love?”
“YEah, Sunny?”
Sunset pulled Sonata around the couch and sat down letting the siren sit on her lap.
“PLease, stop pacing. You’re annoying Applejack.”
Sonata sighed, but nodded. Applejack gave Sunset a cross look. Adagio snickered from her hiding spot. She knew that face Applejack made was her “Triggered Face”.
“Well, we still have the problem of saving our friends and family!” Applejack said throwing her arms up. “We can’t get back. Not with that plant thingy surrounding the camp.”
Sunset and Sonata both sighed leaning into each other.
“So what do we do now?” Sonata asked.
At first nobody answered. Then as the seconds waned on Adagio made her appearance. Everyone gasped with excitement, and Sonata ran up to her sister putting her into a powerful bear hug.
“DOWN! SONATA! DOWN!” Adagio yelped, pushing her sister off her.
“DAGI! You’re alright!” Sunset also got up to hug her.
Adagio was happy her friend was easier on the hugs than her sister was. Even Applejack came in to give Adagio some love. Oh course, Adagio by now was irritated by the excessive amount of non-consensual hugging she growled deeply making everyone step away from her. Taking a calming breath the elder siren gave the girls a warm smile and sauntered over to the couch and sat down where Sunset was. Everyone joined her with exception of Applejack who sat down on the table in front of the couch.
“I heard everything,” Adagio said crossing her legs. “So our friends are all trapped in the camp by the plant thing that attacked earlier?”
Everyone nodded.
“What ya’ll think it is? Some sort of government experiment?” Applejack asked.
“Applejack you’re being paranoid again. The government isn’t out to get us and our brains,” Sonata said scoffing at her friend. “They’re obviously trying to steal the world's supply of meat and lettuce and replace it with meat that has mind control chips in them!”
This time Applejack groaned rolling her eyes. Adagio sighed smacking her hand over her forehead hard. Sunset patted the sirens back trying to comfort her friend. In all honesty she couldn’t blame Adagios reaction, she felt the same way. She had known Applejack to be a conspiracy theorist, but after Adagio started searching for her father Applejack seemed to go off the deep end.
First it was with the disappearance of their friend Adagio, then Octavia, and then finally Vinyl Scratch. All disappeared within a week of each other, and no one knew where they three of them went. At the time Rainbow was upset and went looking for Adagio while Applejack was sure the government was responsible.
A call later from Octavia saying she was going to an Musical Academy in France with Vinyl put that to rest. Applejack exceeded that idea shortly after. There were many things about Applejack Sunset found odd, but her wild imagination seemed to take the cake.
Just then Adagio remembered her BMP. She had left it to go save her father. Quick as lightning she stood up and grabbed Applejack buy the shoulders and shook her. Adagio had a wild eye look like she had gone completely insane as she shook poor Applejack.
“Applejack! WHere’s my tank!? What happened to my beautiful tank!?”
Shaking Applejack couldn’t get a coherent word out as she was shaken. Then a set of powerful hands grabbed hold of Adagio stopping her form saking Applejack.
“Calm down Adagio. Your tank is fine,” Sunset said pulling Adagio away from Applejack.
“Okay, I’m calm now…”
Adagio took moment to calm herself down and sat back on the couch.
“So, what do we do?”
“Well, the girls and I were talking,” Applejack started, but look nervous. “We think you should talk to the G-Force-”
“HELL NO!! I REFUSE TO WORK WITH THOSE JACK WAGONS ANYMORE AND THAT’S FINAL!!!” Adagio bellowed loudly.
Sunset sighed placing her hands on Adagio’s shoulders and worked her fingers on them.
“Now, Adagio, I know how you feel. We don’t like them either, but we can’t do this alone. We need help.” Sunset said.
“Then call Princes twilight! She can help you can’t she?” Adagi asked getting irritated.
“She can’t she’s busy taking care of stuff in Equestria!” Sunset said, before she quickly added, “Beside’s the portal is closed for thirty moons!”
Adagio huffed and crossed her arms, seemingly buying into Sunset’s story. Sunset rested against the couch while Applejack sat on the armrest by Adagio.
“Listen, i know you hate the G-Force, but we need their help.”
“No, I don’t need their help,” Adagio said defiantly. “You weak humans and, pony might, but I’m a siren! I don’t need humans to do what needs to be done!”
“Ah ain't sayin you do, but can’t we just work with them towards a common goal?” Applejack offered.
“No. I’ll never work with the G-Force. Their goals will never match mine, nor will they ever stop until my father and anything that threatens humanity is dead. All kaiju and beasts, anything not human,” Adagio glared at Sonata and Sunset. “ANYTHING not human is fair game to them. I’ve learned that over the last few months. I won’t work with them.”
Adagio then stormed off leaving the rest of the group behind. Left them wondering what to do next. None of them knew how to contact the G-Force, and none of them wanted to invoke Adagio’s ire.
Just when they were about to throw in the towel Rainbow Dash came in wrapped in a blanket. The girls got up and greeted their friend with hugs and smiles, which Rainbow returned in full. More importantly she had an idea of what to do.
“Girls, we need to go out shopping,” Rainbow declared. “I have a plan on what we can do, but it’s risky.”
Everyone by this point was willing to try risky. After all what was the worst thing Rainbow could come up with? When it came to helping her friends, they all knew Rainbow would do anything to save them if need be. And so, with tentative ears the girls gathered and listened to Rainbow’s plan.
*PoV Aria*
I hate humans so much.
Every time they poke me with needles and saw off a scale I can feel the pain. It has become a dull pain, but it was still pain nonetheless. She glared and growled at Vinyl Scratch who was busy studying her in the lab she was moved to. Vinyl was about to pluck another scale from Aria when another familiar figure came in.
A young woman in a black suit. She had dark charcoal grey hair that went down to her waist and wore a Light grey dress shirt and a black vest with a golden chain that went into her left pocket. Aria watched as the familiar woman walked behind Vinyl who was oblivious to her presence.
“Vinyl?”
No response.
“Vinyl?” The woman raised her voice.
Again no response.Vinyl did notice Aria glaring at her and with her fingers reached for her ear and turned a small device inside right as the woman behind her screamed in her ear.
“VINYL!!”
“AHHH!!”
Vinyl jumped clutching her ear as the other woman screamed right into her ear. Aria snickered under her bindings earning a stern glare from Vinyl and a chuckle from the other.
“Glad to see you remembered to turn your hearing aid on, Vinyl.”
“Dman it Octy, why do you always do that?” Vinyl complained.
“You always turn that damn thing off when I need to talk to you,” Octavia said looking down at Aria, then back to Vinyl. “Major Spitfire wants to speak to you.”
“Tell her I’ll be-”
“Right now, Miss Scratch.” Octavia said sternly to her.
Vinyl looked back at Octavia who was tapping her foot on the ground impatiently. Under her glasses Vinyl groaned and rolled her eyes walking away. She grabbed her coat and threw it on and walked out of the room leaving Aria and Octavia alone. Octavia glanced over her shoulder at Aria putting one hand by the sirens nose, drumming her fingers on the table.
Aria’s eye twitched with the drumming of Octavia’s fingers. A low growl seemed to be what got her attention.
“Ah, ah, ah, there’s no need for that,” She said coyly to the siren. “That’s certainly no way to act to a lady who’s trying to help you.”
Aria quirked her scaly brown.
“I know who you are Aria Blaze. I worked with your sister Adagio on a project back in school,” Octavia said rolling her eyes.
Aria sighed under the binds. Looking up with her eyes, since her body was strapped down, she looked over Octavia who had developed quite well if she dared admit.
“What do you want from me?” Aria asked.
“Nothing,” Octavia replied dryly. “I’m just returning favor.”
With that said Octavia pulled out a small knife. Flipping the blade open she pulled the straps and with her knife she cut through the binds that held Aria down. When she was free the siren didn’t leave or allow Octavia to leave her sight.
When Octavia put her knife away and Aria kept staring at her the woman groaned placing her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyes at Aria. It surprised Aria how this human wasn’t afraid of her. Then again she didn’t know of the power she had left over after the Battle of the Bands, but she wasn’t about to fault Octavia after freeing her.
With a simple nod Aria said a short, “Thanks”, and flew off into the center of the room. Then she inhaled and breathed out fire and condensed it into a beam that tore through the earth and concrete of the ceiling. The facility shook and the lights flicker as the alarms sounded all around them. Then seconds later Aria ceased her attack when she realized she wasn’t going to blow her way out of here.
Just when she looked at Octavia who facepalm hard enough for it to be heard over the alarms Spitfire came barging in with an entire security detail. Octavia ducked under a table, but looked over to see Spitfire draw her side arm and take aim at Aria.
“Stand down beast, or you’ll regret it!” Spitfire threatened Aria.
Everyone in the security detail aimed their rifles at Aria. To their surprise all this did was earn a deep belly laugh from Aria. Spitfire felt her blood boil as she watched the ‘beast’ laugh at her making a mockery of her. Just as she was about to tell the siren off Aria stopped laughing and glared at the group of humans with a sinister smile.
Spitfire felt a chill run down her spine as Aria said, “You’ll regret taking me and not killing me, humans.”
Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines
Aria and Spitfire were in the most intense stare battle Octavia had ever seen any two being partake in. Aria was curled up and ready to strike like a viper, Spitfire was poised with her sidearm and ready to fire at Aria.
Octavia only dared peer over the counter hoping to stay out of the line of fire. Aria for her part was holding back rather well. She was now contemplating how she wanted to deal with Spitfire. Since her powers were still dwindled she couldn't just mind control her to shoot herself or walk off a cliff. *That'd be too easy.* She grumbled in her thoughts. *Guess a good old fashioned beat down will suffice. I could blow off some steam.*
With her mind made up on the spot Aria cracked her large scaly neck and cracked her hooves. Spitfire quirked her brow wondering what the ‘mangy beast’ was up to. Just then someone came into the room and Aria, as quick as lightning, grabbed the poor human and threw her into Spitfire. Spitfire fired her sidearm missing both the human projectile and Aria at the same time falling to the floor.
Octavia quickly ran from her cover and grabbed Aria’s hoof and pulled her along down the corridor. Aria tried to hold back at first, but she relented quickly she she realized she had no idea where to go. Reverting to her human form, Aria and Octavia ran down the hall until they came across a dressing room. Once inside, Octavia went to a locker and opened it. She then threw a soldier's fatigues on the floor and a pair of boots at Aria’s feet.
“Put these on. I’ll get us out of here.” Octavia ordered.
“I don’t take orders from a human like you!” Aria snapped back, crossing her arms over her chest.
*Sigh* “If you want to get out, you have to trust me,” Octavia said, slipping on a lab coat for herself.
Aria only growled at her looking away. Octavia sighed and picked the clothes and boots up and shoved them into Aria’s arms.
“Will you, please , do this?! I want to help!” Octavia asked with a hint of desperation in her voice.
Aria considered her options. She didn’t like the idea of relying on humans for help. Then again she wouldn’t get far on her own either. Reluctantly she took the clothes and slipped them on. They were a loose fit, but Aria managed to fill them. Once clothed up she followed Octavia out of the room and into a different part of the facility. Octavia grabbed a loose hat and threw it to Aria who put it on without question. Silently they walked through the facility as more and more troops began to scramble around them.
A announcement was made from Major Spitfire saying that the beast escaped and to lock down the facility. Thankfully Octavia had top security clearance and was able to bypass security. Aria felt unease hiding in plain sight like this. Even more she hated having to follow a lowly human and rely on her for assistance. When she got out it was only her from that point on. For now, she’d endure.
As they came around a corner Spitfire was there waiting for them with a large group of sliders. Octavia stopped in her tracks as did Aria as the troops took aim at them. Behind the group was a massive loading area with jeeps, APCs and tanks. Octavia had planned to leave with Aria in a truck, but it was clear that Spitfire was on to them.
This didn’t bode well.
Spitfire smiled at Octavia and Aria and casually walked over to them with a high mighty smug look on her face.
“Oh, you thought you could get away that easy, Octavia?”
“What? But, how did you find us?” Octavia asked genuinely surprised.
Spitfire’s smug grin only grew. “Oh, I knew you were in cahoots with Razzle Dazzle from the start. I just needed proof so I can deal with you like the traitor you are.”
Spitfire drew her sidearm and took aim at Octavia. Octavia stammered trying to find an excuse to get out of this but a loud bang broke her concentration. Aria looked over to see Octavia clutching her stomach which now had a huge red stain over her coat.
For some reason Aria’s blood boiled seeing Octavia slump over and to the floor. She couldn’t fathom what she just saw. Spitfire had just shot one of her own like it was nothing. Aria was used to seeing betrayal but this was borderline butchery to her. It was one thing to kill on equal footing, it was another to execute someone without giving them a chance.
Engaged Aria ran over to octavia and lifted her head in her hands. She was breathing, albeit heavily. Aria could feel the warmth of Octavia’s blood in her hands. This was the first time in a long time she felt this, then the smell hit her nostrils. Her life flashed in a blink of an eye. Every life she ever took, all the lives she watched end over the centuries, all of it came back to her in a flash. The she thought about the Battle of the Bands and how she and her sisters lost their powers until Adagio reclaimed them from her father.
In that one moment she truly knew how powerless she was. Here a human took a bullet for her and there was nothing she could do to save her. If there was anything that angered Aria more than humans, it was being indebted to one. (Of course she felt bad deep down for Octavia who tried to save her.)
Spitfire was feeling brave, taking a step forward and pointed her gun at Aria. Aria glared up at Spitfire then down the barrel of the 9mm in her face. Spitfire only grinned as Aria snarled at her reverting to her siren form and snapped her mouth down on Spitfire’s arm and twisting.
The rest of the soldiers prepared to fire, but the siren was now flailing Spitfire around who was trying to punch her way out of Aria’s grip.
“Shoot her! Shoot her!!” Spitfire screamed in a panic.
The soldiers worried for the Majors life prepared to fire at Aria with their rifles. Suddenly several of them turned on the others and smashed the backs of their heads with the butts of their rifles knocking them out. In the end only four were left standing and on came up to Spitfire. He took the butt of his rifle and brought it down on Spitfire’s head effectively knocking her out.
The soldier slung his role and grabbed hold of Octavia’s hands and tried to pull her up. Aria however felt her feral instincts kick in and she snapped at him while hovering over octavia. *Why do I care what happens to her so much?* She wondered looking at the man who smiled at her. *Wait… I know him!* It took a moment for her to recognize him, but it was Kyle, commander of the tank unit that she had saved. Now, she was relieved.
For some unfathomable reason his eyes were calming to her. His smile, that dumb stupid smile. It made her comfortable and she felt her instincts paving way to a more subtle feeling. A swelling in her heart. She was… intrigued with him?
No.
This was something completely different. There is something about him that she trusted, and that wasn’t just because he saved her life twice now. Perhaps she could trust some humans after all. Aria uncovered Octavia, which Kyle took hold of and brought her over to a jeep and placed her inside. After having a word with the driver the jeep left through a tunnel that lead to the outside and Kyle and the three soldiers with him went to a tank that had a familiar dent in it that Aria recognized. It was the dent she made when she collided with the tank's front armor.
Aria was not fond of that memory.
Regardless she didn’t daddle, of fear from being captured again. She flew over to the tank and landed on the perch she made for herself last time. Right next to Kyle as he order his tank forward. The armored behemoth roared to life with its massive diesel engine and slowly the tank gained speed eventually reaching over 40 mph and right behind the jeep. Despite not having access to her magic anymore Aria’s eyes were still able to adapt to the light change quickly as they made their way out of the tunnel and to the open world. Aria smelled fresh air for what felt like the first time in an eternity.
She really had come to appreciate many things in the last few years after she lost her voice. The sounds of the wind was comforting to her. She no longer frowned when it rained or complained. She loved her sisters more than ever and they grew closer since Adagio came out of hiding. The singing of the birds was nice too.
*Chirp! Chirp! CRUNCH!*
Next to her Kyle stared at her in bewilderment as Aria snatched what looked like a seagull from the air with a sickening snapping sound, and followed by crunching noises. Aria was happily chewing her tasty meal with white feathers sticking out of her mouth, when she noticed Kyle staring at her. Aria’s cheek bulged as she stopped chewing her scrumptious meal. A few seconds passed and she swallowed the bird whole. Even the feathers. After the staring went on for a few seconds more Aria turned away from Kyle’s gaze and looked out towards a mountainside and canterlot City just beyond it.
Coiling up she looked at the city and then back to her savior, or one of them at least. Kyle was busy talking over a large headset he was wearing he didn’t notice her looking at him again. Aria growled and nudged his side nearly knocking him out of the tank.
“What was that for you psycho!?” He asked, gripping the side of the tank for dear life. “You could have knocked me off!”
“Well, why didn’t you notice me trying to get your attention then?” She snapped back at him.
They stared at each other awkwardly again.
“Ugh, whatever! Where are we going?” Aria asked.
“We’re heading towards a hideout near the ocean. There’s a medical facility there we can use to tend to Miss Octavia’s wound.”
“Will she make it?” Aria asked, with a hint of concern in her voice.
Kyle smiled at her sliding his headset off and around his neck.
“Feeling a certain attachment towards us humans?” He asked with a smug tone.
Aria blushed and snapped at him, making Kyle lean back just out of reach. He laughed as Aria fumed coiling up again to hide her blush.
“Don’t laugh! I am a mighty siren! I could end you if I wanted too!”
“Suuuuurrree.” Kyle said, chuckling at the fuming siren.
Aria huffed under her own coiled up body, happy for what little seclusion she had at the time. As she did the air smell changed again. This time it was humid with a hint of salt to it. She realized they were near the ocean and uncoiled to see the ocean to her right. The jeep was a stone's toss away from them i the lead and not far was a stone structure that looked like an old concrete pillbox partially buried in the ground.
As they approached the jeep went off road and around the pillbox. The tank followed right behind, but it did so at a slower pace to not fall off the cliff. Aria looked over the edge of the tank to see what was on the other side. It was a sheer drop of a cliff at least a hundred plus feet down. Aria was sure she could also see jagged rocks at the bottom. As she looked the tank made a sharp turn and went inside a hidden bunker adjacent to the pillbox and a small metal door closed behind them.
Soon after the tank engine died down and a crew of medical personnel came running in with a gurney and took Octavia away. Aria followed them but was held back by Kyle stepping in her way.
“Don’t worry. She’ll be fine. Octavia wanted me to ask you some questions in case it came to this anyways,” He said taking a piece of paper out from his pocket. “Mind if we sit down so we can talk?”
Aria snorted reverting to her human form again.
“Like I want to talk to you? Why should I? What do you have to gain by asking me some random questions?”
“Because I want to know what you what your stance is on the existence of aliens,” Kyle replied.

So, I know it's been a while since i updated the story. I tend to go long periods without updating and then suddenly I update a bunch of things at once. I'm sorry if that annoys any of you, but work has me on edge and trying to find more work to pay the bills has been an issue for some time now.
I'm still writing when I can and this week has been fruitful. So, Kyle has asked the big question, does Aria believe in aliens? What relevance could this have? And what of Octavia's involvement? What is Gloriosa going to do with Gaia's power, and what is Godzilla up to now? What will Spitfire do? The answers to come soon!

Gloriosa and Gaia are bonding, Rainbow is learning to be a siren, and failing. And Aria is getting double glomped! oh, what could the writer be thinking?! nothing good I can promise you that?

Aria nearly busted up laughing at Kyle’s question about the existance of aliens. Aria felt like it was such an odd idea. Then again, she was from a magical world where magic and unicorns are from, and this world has neither magic or unicorns. So, aliens shouldn't be so farfetched as they seem.
Then again, she remembered, even back then, some ponies believed in extraterrestrial life. Even Starswirl the Bearded believed in them to an extent. So, why did Aria nearly keel over laughing at the idea of being asked about aliens? Simple, she didn’t believe in them herself.
Ever since coming to the human world she knew about aliens from her life in Equestria. She didn’t believe in them then either, the human world only solidified that belief when humans mistook her and her sisters for aliens and angels. It was these event that all but solidified her disbelief in aliens.
“No, I don’t believe in aliens,” Aria said bluntly behind her snickering.
Kyle frowned at her. Clearly not liking the answer he’d just received.
Aria noticed his frown and tilted her head, and placed a hand on her hip in her human form.
“What? You don’t actually believe in aliens yourself, do you Commander?” Aria asked in a conceited manner.
Kyle shook his head. “Trust me when I say they do. In fact you know one. Personally.”
Aria wasn’t sure what to make of that. She was sure she didn’t know of any aliens on earth, and she most certainly was sure she didn’t know any aliens personally. Regardless of what she thought she had to get back to Camp Everfree to see if her sisters and their friends were okay. Walking up behind Kyle she grabbed his shoulder and forced him around and stood face to face with him. Her eyes narrowed with determination and ire.
Kyle gulped at the sight of her piercing gaze made him want to run away in fear. The only thing keeping him in place was the years of training and experience he had to maintain his composure. This however was different than going into battle. There was something, primal behind Aria’s gaze that made him tremble in his boots. An almost animal instinct to flee, and Aria took complete notice, grinning.
“What? Are you so infatuated with me that you’re all shaky human?” She asked placing a hand against the wall behind his head. “Are you, attracted to me?”
She gave the human male a cheeky smile which only made him more nervous. There was something different about her now. He could smell a certain sweetness in the air as her arm was only an inch from his head. It was intoxicating to him. A sweet aroma much like lilac mixed with a strong peach scent hit his senses. Topped with his fear of moving he was now completely immobilized by her.
Aria knew she had him right where she wanted him. *And Adagio thought I lost my touch. Who needs your voice when you got simple charms and, feral instincts doing all the work for you?* She thought, completely enjoying her time with her new plaything.
“What’s wrong Kyle? Are you liking this, or is it something else that has you dumb struck with silence?” She asked running a finger over the side of his face. “Is it fear that keeps you by chance?” *Yes, it is I know it is.* If there was one thing Aria inspired in humans it was fear.
She was known by many names over the centuries, the Dragon of the East, Ragnarok, even the mighty Qetzeluatal. She enjoyed fawning her beauty and power over humans and bending them to her will. Her fun however was cut short when kyle was shaken from his trance like stupor by a harsh voice yelling.
“Commander! What are you doing to him!?”
Both the human and siren looked back to see a young woman in a japanese army uniform. She was small and petite compared to other females Aria had seen in the military before, but something about this one seemed off.
She was asian from what Aria could tell, fair skinned, black hair tied up in a bun, and had dark brown eyes that Aria swore were looking into her soul. Deep where she didn’t like prying eyes. The woman walked over to Kyle and touched his forehead with her palm. She then closed her eyes and started to hum slightly. This calming voice of hers rang in Aria and Kyle's ears making them both feel at ease. Combined with her humming their minds became clear and Aria had to fight back a retaliatory instinct to maul the girl, while Kyle shook his head and came too like he had a bad dream.
“Wh-wha-where am I What happened?” He asked frantically.
The woman patted his head and shoulders trying to calm him with a sweet smile that seemed to do the trick. Aria hated that smile, and totally not the fact this human undid her spell on Kyle she was having fun with.
The woman smiled and said softly, “You were in a trance by this woman. I helped clear your head.”
“Oh, Thanks Miki Saegusa. It’s nice to know you are around when stuff gets real,” Kyle said, laughing and blushing.
Miki giggled and in her thick Japanese accent she replied, “Always with your American style jokes, but Mr. Higata, you need to be careful around her . I sense great evil from her.” Miki said, glaring judgingly at Aria.
“Hey, you best back off if you know what’s good for you human!” Aria snapped with a snarl, baring her teeth at Miki.
But the human wasn’t intimidated by this. She was so calm. So, so calm. It made Aria furious as the woman approached her with a sad look in her eyes. Miki looked at Aria deep into her soul and closed her eyes placing her hands over her heart. Aria wasn’t sure what she was doing at first, but what Miki said next shook her to the core.
“I sense great anger in you, Aria Blaze, or should I say, Kuyutha?” Aria’s gaze snapped back at Miki in complete shock.
“H-how… how do you know that name?”
“Yes, I can see your past. It was humans who hurt you, and now you have a chance to hurt them back,” Miki said calmly only serving to anger Aria more. “You once felt love, and even gave it once long ago. I can see the betrayal at Solomon. Your bitterness isn’t unwarranted, but that was long ago. Humanity has so much more to offer than betrayal.”
Aria snorted turning away from Miki and crossing her arms.
“You don’t know me at all human.”
“I know you aren’t a monster. I felt a great darkness in your heart and it swells even now. You are afraid of humanity and rightfully so. You’ve seen kindness from the commander,” She gestured to Kyle and then down the hall. “You even were saved by someone who has it out against your kind. She put that behind her after seeing what the G-Force has become. Corrupt and with the single minded task of destroying all kaiju in the world. Especially Godzilla.”
“And I should care why?” Aria asked bluntly. “I don’t own humanity anything after what it did to me!”
Miki tilted her head and looked at Commander Kyle then back to Aria.
“Then why did you save the, Commander and his crew? Why not let them perish?”
Aria felt her anger surge again. She ran forward with lighting speed and pinned Miki to the wall. She had Miki by the collar and punched with her open hand against the concrete walls of the bunker, leaving a fist sized impression in the wall next to Miki’s head.
“I saved them because I could!”
Miki smiled kindly at Aria. Not in a smug, or condescending way, but genuine kindness with no ill intentions behind it.
“Or maybe you see something in the Commander that you like?” Miki hinted.
“Wha-what? NO!! There’s nothing I like about him!” She said throwing Miki to the side. “Besides, what could I possibly see in a bunch of worthless humans that are inferior to me!?”
Miki giggled and helped herself off the floor with Kyle’s help.
“Say what you want, but I can sense it. You long to be loved again, and seek any reason to like humanity. Despite your best efforts to hide it,” MIki said, smirking at Aria playfully. “Yo can deny it of course, but you’ll never be able to hide the truth from yourself.”
“You’re wrong,” Aria snapped walking away toward the Abrams tank. “Besides, what does that have to do with aliens?”
Miki and Kyle looked worriedly at each other before Miki spoke again in a more direct tone.
“We know there is an alien organization here on Earth,” She said walking over to Aria to show her pictures of the large mechanical monster like her father. “These were taken in Japan a few years ago when there was a large storm over the Mariana Trench. UN Agents have discovered two alien bases that act as supply depots for this mechanized weapon. We think there’s one here in Canterlot, but we never figured out where it is.”
Aria snorted again not caring one bit until Kyle spoke next.
“We think, after the plant that now encases Camp Everfree and the fact the mechagodzilla went i n its general direction before disappearing that the base may be in the camp itself,” he said.
“We need to get through the plant barrier to know for sure, and to do that I need to get close to mind meld with the plant creature,” Miki said.
“What, are you some sort of Vulcan now? Are you an alien?”
Aria was now being as obnoxious as possible at this point. She glared at both Miki and Kyle who neither flinched at her piercing glare.
“Humph, whatever. Why not just walk up to it and “meld” with it then?” Aria asked bluntly to the point.
“Every attempt we’ve made has ended in complete destruction of our forces. We even went under a white flag hoping the plant wouldn’t attack, but that failed too,” Kyle said. “We were hoping that you could help us?”
“Why me?” Aria asked. “Why not get the G-Force on this? Actually while we're on the subject, who are you guys exactly? Are you with the G-Force? Who’s side are you on?”
“We’re not with the G-Force, Miss Blaze. So you can rest assured you’re safe with us.” Miki said.
“Fine. Whatever.” Aria snapped. “So, who are you then?”
Miki showed Aria a golden badge in a small flip holder, much like a police officer would. It was a golden crest with the UN insignia on it.
“United nations? Wow, so you guys are serious about this supposed alien threat?” Aria asked with genuine surprise.
Miki and Kyle nodded together. Then Kyle spoke, “Spitfire is a Officer of the United Nations technically. If you help us, we can force her to leave you and your family alone. All we ask is for your help, Miss Bl-”
“Don’t call me, Miss. It makes me feel old,” Aria said feeling her cheeks burning. Finally seeing no other option she relented with a weary sigh, rubbing her head. “Fine, you keep the witch on a short leash and away from my family I’ll help you. First I need to find my sister. She can help us out.”
Mikio and Kyle nodded. The trio made a verbal contract that if Aria and her sister helped stop the alien threat, or at least help confirm if there was one, they’d order Spitfire to cease all activities related to harassing Adagio and her family/friends. With their deal made Aria shifted back into her siren form and curled up on her perch on Kyle’s tank, while his crew got ready to roll out. Miki took to the air in a custom AH-1 Cobra helicopter with her pilot and followed Kyles tank as it rolled out of the pillbox, heading towards Canterlot City.
All the while Aria couldn’t help but be fixated on Miki’s words about her insecurities. Aria was no fool though. She knew a telepath when there was one around. Miki was a novice at the craft of telepathy, but she was skilled enough to influence the minds of others. *Heh, then again all men are conceited fools.* Aria mused to herself. She then looked over to Kyle Who was fixated with ordering his driver where to go he didn’t notice Aria glancing at him on occasion. What was it about this human that fascinated her so? She wondered.
Had she lost her mind? Was she suddenly getting sentimental because of Miki? Yes, it had to be that. That foolish human was trying to influence her mind, and somehow it was affecting her feelings on this male human before her. Aria clenched her jaw barring her teeth and fangs slightly. She would make Miki pay for placing these foolish thoughts in her head. After all, Aria never agreed to let them live after she did their task for them. A good mauling is what she needed right now.
But Aria had to hold back for the humans sake. She didn't want Kyle to get on her case in case she needed him to side with her later. At least, that’s what she kept telling herself.
She glanced over at him once more then back at the road leading to Canterlot City. She sighed with a deep throat gurgle that made him look at her. He smiled and hesitantly reached out to her with his hand. He paused just inches away when Aria growled at him, turning her eyes on him, but not he rhead. He chuckled and rubbed her cheek calmly, throwing caution to the wind, and the sensation of his hand rubbing her cheek made her heat up with embarrassment. She instinctively started to purr at the touch. She both hated it and liked it at the sametime.
She glared at the male human and his stupid silly grin he had at her purring in his hand. She huffed, but allowed him to continue all the way to the City.
*Camp Everfree Gloriosa*
Gloriosa watched over Camp Everfree and the few humans that were left in it. Trixie and Maud were back in the center of the camp talking. Rather, it was more like trixie was complaining and Muad was trying to comfort her. Limestone ws with Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie and Timber Spruce trying to break through the barrier of vines that Gaia had setup.
Gloriosa was worried that if she kept everyone here long enough they might get hurt or starve. They only had so much food, and Camp Everfree was not the best place to forage for food.
She wanted to release them, but she had to keep others from coming to the camp in the meantime. It was only temporary after all. Gloriosa and Gaia were now one being, but still two minds. It was still an odd feeling.It was like that feeling of knowing you’re being watched but you can’t see who’s looking at you. It took some time for Gloriosa to get use to this feeling, but she got use to being part of Gaia, and that made her feel powerful.
Gaia could sense the girls eagerness and often told her to be patient. Gaia had much to teach her about patience, but that would have to come later.
The two of them turned their attention to Canterlot City where she could hear and see through all the plants and life there. She saw a tank, with one of the sirens she had battled earlier riding it through the plants. Gloriosa growled at the scaly beast wanting to crush it, and she tried too. Gaia however held her back metally.
*Be at peace, Gloriosa. We will gain nothing by making them our enemy now.* Gais thought to her.
*But, if we do nothing they’ll come back and try to do my camp harm!* The young woman whinned. *I don’t want to lose my camp!*
She then felt a deepening anger in herself and Gaia.
*You mean OUR camp. I was there long before humans walked this world and I was the first of the primordial beings to walk this world!*
*Sorry,* Gloriosa thought cringing at eh mental assault of Gaia’s thoughts. *I just don’t want to lose my home. I live at Camp Everfree, and I love it more than anything in the world. Besides family of course.* She added quickly.
Gaia approved, sensing her sincerity in her thoughts. It was true. Gaia had watched the young girl since she was a child. Gaia and Gloriosa both thought back to a time when a young child Gloriosa fell into one of the rivers after losing her little pink shoe.
The young girl was so eager to get it back she fell into the river and was nearly swept away. Thankfully Gaia Everfree was able to spare her attention to save her from drowning. It was so sudden, but clear in Gloriosa’s mind that day. She remembered being swept by the river while her aunt Spitfire was watching her.
The Major had just suffered a terrible injury that broke her left arm and part of her lower leg. Glorioasa remembered her aunt crying out to her to stay calm and try to swim to shore. Then as if being lifted by a gentle hand, gloriosa felt her body being lifted and guided to shore by the very water itself. Once ashore again she remembered being embraced by her aunt who cried holding her in her arms until her brother Timber Spruce came to help.
It was a fond memory that now made so much sense to Gloriosa. She smiled feeling a certain fondness for Gaia Everfree. She felt her connection to Gaia deepen as her understanding of her increased.
Then Gaia’s thought to her, *All life is precious. Every plant. Every animal. Human. Bird. Beast.* Gaia showed images of various things as she labeled them. The first was a tree, then a cat and dog, then Spitfire, a raven, and then the beast on the tank.
This moment helped deepen both Gloriosa’s understanding of Gaia, and Gaia’s understanding of Gloriosa.
Gaia could feel how Gaia affected the young woman into the environment lover eshe was. That day she save GLoriosa from the river was a day that would lay the foundation for their future together, and Gaia and Gloriosa wouldn’t have it any other way.
*Sweet Apple Acres*
Adagio and Rainbow were in their siren forms in a nearby open grassy field on Sweet Apple Acres. They were training so Rainbow could learn more about her newfound siren powers.
So far all she had was flying, greater speed, strength, a vocal blast, and nothing truly extraordinary. Adagio even tried to teach her words to the songs of her people, the sirens, but to no avail. Whatever Rainbow Dash had, she wasn’t able to sing the songs of sirens for any effect. They were literally just songs when Rainbow sang them, but Adagio could feel power rise when she sang.
It disheartened Rainbow slightly.
When she realized she wasn’t going to get a beautiful singing voice the human turned siren suddenly got very depressed real quick. After a few more exercises she flew deeper into the apple trees and disappeared saying she wanted some time alone. Adagio wasn't sure at first, but decided to give her girlfriend some space. She returned to the house and waited for Rainbow to come back on her own.
But she didn’t.
Rainbow flew deep into the forest of apple trees and landed on a branch coiling her body around it. Sort of. She still wasn’t use to her serpentine body. She was serpentine in shape about twelve feet long. Large sharp scutes, jagged, and silver, compared to her sky blue body. Her arms were long and hooved, at the base of her midsection were two large sail like fins that rested at her tan underbelly. Her head was round almost soft looking and had huge blue ears with tiny antennae that twitched with the slightest touch from the wind. Her tail wrapped around the tree branch was hard to keep wrapped around the branch, and hanging below was her huge fish like fins at the end of her tail. She sighed feeling depressed that she was just an imitation siren.
She still couldn’t sing. Her voice was still raspy and cracked when she tried to sing like Adagio or Sonata. It made her feel inadequate. Worse off she couldn’t perform the types of powers sirens had. She felt like a cheap knockoff, and she didn’t know how to feel about that.
Being competitive by nature Rainbow wasn’t one to take second place for anything. In this case she realized she had no choice but to settle for last, because she literally couldn’t do anything about it.
It was depressing to her. She thought back to her friends, and Trixie, who they left behind hoping they were alright. Not Trixie though. She knew maud well enough that Trixie would survive so long as Limestone wasn’t left alone with her for very long. It brought a crack of a smile to Rainbow’s lips to think of Limestone yelling at a cowering Trixie in her mind.
The scutes on her back twitched with glee and her fins flapped slightly at the thought. Then her antenna suddenly sensed a powerful vibration. Like acaat, her head popped up and she scanned around the area trying to use her antenna to pinpoint the source of the vibrations. They her large ears turned slightly left at the familiar sound of a tank engine roaring nearby. In a panic she threw herself off the tree and flew into the air where she saw a Cobra helicopter flying toward the main house of Sweet Apple Acres.
In a panic she flew towards the house as the helicopter landed by the barn as a tank and jeep rolled up next to them. Everyone came running out, Big Mac sporting a huge double barreled shotgun, and Applejack with a 45 longrifle and both took aim at the trespassers. Rainbow flew beside them with Adagio transforming into her siren form as Sonata casually looked past them as several people came out of the jeep, tank, and helicopter.
Suddenly Sonata looked at the tank and with a loud squee she bolted to the tank in a blue blur and tackled something sitting on top of it. Everyone was surprised at first but then Sonata started to rub her head against the thing she held, and it snarled at her with a familiar raspy masculine female voice, “Get off me, Sonata! UGH! You’re the worst!”
“YAY! I’m so happy to see you too, Ari!” Sonata cried rubbing her tear stained eyes into Aria’s siren muzzle.
“Ugh, whatever! Just, get off!” Aria complained pushing her sister off, only to be tackled off the tank by Sonata and Pinkie at the same time. “Ugh! I hate you both so much!”
“We missed you too, Ari!”
Pinkie and Sonata giggled hugging the prone siren. As Aria protested and tried to escape her sister and Pinkie’s grip, Kyle jumped off the tank chuckling at Aria’s situation, earning him a snarl and a swift hit to the shin by her tail. Miki then got off the helicopter and approached the large group near the farm holding her hands up as Big Mac and Applejack took aim at her.
“Don’t shoot. We come in peace.”
Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines
Aria snapped her jaws on Pinkie’s butt getting the pink girl to yelp and shoot off into the air like a deflating balloon. Aria then turned her gaze to Sonata who was nervously chuckling and scooting away from her now free sister. With another snap of her jaws Sonata screamed running away from Aria and hiding behind Sunset who was shaking her head at them both.
“You really should be nicer to your sister and Pinkie, Aria,” Sunset chided the siren.
Aria snorted again turning back into her human form and stood next to Kyle and Miki.
“This is Kyle and that bi-Miki! Miki… Yeah, her name’s Miki,” Aria said, gesturing to the two humans with her.
Miki and Kyle both smiled and nodded the the small group before they were smothered by Pinkie and Sonata. The others chuckled at Pinkie and Sonata’s loving nature. Aria growled. She hated it when Sonata was all buddy buddy with humans. She loved her sister to no end, but she didn’t think Sonata acted like a true siren.
They were apex predators. Their father the mightiest of all, and Aria felt degraded seeing Sonata, and especially Adagio lowering themselves to such a new low. In truth , she missed their days of conquest and taking over the world whenever they could, because it was their birthright. Sirens were meant to rule.
It was the law of nature.
Aria’s anger wasn’t very well hidden, and Rainbow Dash approached her with slow cautious movements.
“Yo, Aria? What’s got you all bent out of shape?” Rainbow asked.
“I don’t see how that’s any of your business.”
Rainbow gave Aria a slightly offended look. Crossing her arms Rainbow turned slightly away from Aria, while still keeping an eye on her.
“I was just wondering what was wrong, but if you’re gonna be all sour like this I’ll just leave you alone then,” Rainbow said back in a snippy tone.
Aria growled glaring daggers at Rainbow, imitating her movements.
“Fine, I don’t want to talk to your kind anyways,” Aria snapped. “This whole ordeal has proven one thing, that humans aren’t worth the trouble.”
Aria turned and walked away to be by herself while Miki and Kyle explained the situation to the small group. After giving the details of the aliens and the possibility that they could be at Camp Everfree, Miki asked Adagio and the others for help, but of course Adagio had grown accustomed to being paranoid when Agents or Government officials were involved.
“What’s in it for us?” Adagio asked curtly.
Miki held up her hand in a non-threatening manner. With her other she offered a slip of paper to Adagio that the siren took and read. After eyeing it for a moment after reading it thoroughly she folded it up and slipped it in her pant pocket then returned her steely gaze to Miki.
“And what about my father? He’s to be left alone then?” Adagio asked as the others wondered what she could have read on the paper.
Miki held one hand over her heart to try and show sincerity.
“I promise you the UN will never attack your father again, so long as this mission is a success,” Miki agreed to Adagio’s demand.
Adagio smiled and offered her hand to shake and Miki took it without hesitation. After the deal was struck Adagio felt something tingle in her mind. She quickly drew her hand away from Miki who looked embarrassed by something.
Adagio glared at her before turning to walk away and spoke to Applejack alone for a moment. Miki looked over at Sunset who was talking to Sonata holding her hand with her own. Miki approached her and tapped her shoulder.
“Huh? What’s up?” Sunset asked Miki.
“Can I ask a personal question?” Miki asked in her best English speaking voice she could.
“Sure, you saved Aria, so I can answer a few questions. Nothing personal please.”
“Oh, don’t worry about that,” Miki giggled cutely. “If I wanted that I’d just have my agents spy on you and your friends.”
Miki gave Sunset a genuine smile, but the fire haired girl just stared like she was scared of the young woman before her. No one had ever been so open about their willingness to spy on her before. Quite frankly, it was creepy.
Miki realized what she said after seeing Sunset’s reaction and immediately donned a shamed look on her face. Looking down to avert her gaze she apologized.
“I’m sorry. That was rude of me. I didn’t mean to imply I would without proper cause,” She said.
“I-uh, I guess I understand. Adagio has explained to us why such things exist to being with. What were you going to ask anyways?” Sunset asked.
“Oh, that’s right. Do you have the sight too?” Miki asked.
“The sight?”
Sunset wondered what the woman could possibly mean by that. She never thought about this sight she spoke of, but something in the way Miki looked at her made her pause.
“I’m sorry, it’s nothing,” Miki said shaking her head, and walked away.
Confused by the sudden departure, Sunset shrugged and went back to Sonata and Pinkie who were talking excitedly about something. When they noticed Sunset approaching they stopped conversing and turned to greet their friend with wide toothy grins.
“What?” She asked them wondering what the two mischievous girls were up to.
They just giggled and hugged Sunset suddenly. Sighing Sunset patted their heads as they wrapped their arms around her waist nuzzling her.
Aria glared at them again when Adagio and Applejack approached her.
“Hey,” Adagio greeted her.
“Sup,” Aria replied.
Applejack felt very out of place between the two sirens. She was still getting use to being stronger than usual. She wasn’t strong like Superman, but after the battle of the Bands she felt, stronger somehow. Things she found heavy before were easier to lift. Heck, she could punch a tree at her farm and knock most of the apples out of it with one punch. Despite this however, she still felt vulnerable when standing between two sirens. Specifically Adagio and Aria.
Applejack had once made the mistake of being between the two when the fought once over allowing Sonata to live like a human versus a siren 24/7. It led to a prolonged fight in the west orchard of her home and the destruction of nearly a dozen trees before Adagio came to her senses and stopped. Adagio was sorry for destroying the trees, but Aria was only angered by it more.
The two then got into a heated debate over how Adagio was becoming soft and that’s why they had to always fear the G-Force. Aria argued they should be strong so they didn’t have to live in fear of humans especially the G-Force. Adagio rebutted saying being muscle headed brutes wasn't the answer. Applejack wasn’t fond of the idea of these two fighting again.
Aria stared at Adagio with a scowl.
“What?!” Aria snapped.
Adagio sighed placing a hand over her head like she was fighting a headache.
“You alright Aria? Were you hurt? Are you hungry?” Adagio asked looking her younger sister over.
Aria pulled away growling at her elder sister. Adagio frowned at Aria’s aggressive response. She suddenly cut Aria off who tried to get around her to leave. Aria growled again turning into her siren form and roared loudly at Adagio making her puffy orange hair fly behind her like it was in a hurricane.
Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared in shock at Aria now growling viciously at Aria. Adagio didn’t flinch as saliva and the horrid scent of Aria’s bad breath hit her nostrils. Although she did wish she had a nose plug.
Adagio waved a hand over her nose to fan away the bad smell, which did little to relieve her senses of the bad breath smell she was forced to inhale. She never took her eyes off Aria. She looked at her younger sister dead in the eyes and narrowed her eyes with a piercing glare of her own. Aria felt a primal urge to flee instantly, but she stood her ground barring eh teeth at Adagio.
“Get out of my way, Adagio,” Aria growled through her bared teeth and fangs.
Adagio’s answer came swiftly in the form of her hand. Adagio raised her right hand and swiftly slapped Aria across her scaly cheek. The colliding of Adagio’s hand to Aria’s scales managed to make the loudest slapping noise anyone present had ever heard in their lives. Although in human form, Adagio’s siren strength was still in full force and Aria’s head snapped to the side after the initial impact. Aria’s eyes were wide in shock and her mouth hung up. Her cheek was now stinging and red.
Applejack made a smart move and got as far away from the two sirens as possible and hid behind the tank where Kyle’s crew were. Miki also joined her as did Pinkie, and Sonata, leaving Kyle as the only one exposed.
After recollecting herself Aria snarled at Adagio once again. She coiled up like a snake ready to strike. *Tch* Adagio flicked her wrists and clenched her hands into fists, just as Aria snapped forward trying to bite her sister. Adagio ducked under and brought her right fist up under Aria’s jaw with enough force to send Aria flying back. Pinkie yelled something that vaguely sounded like *shoryuken*, as Adagio spun around to deliver a mean right hook to Aria’s already swollen cheek. This punch sent her to the ground with a whimper reverting Aria to her human form.
Adagio stood over her sister clenching her fist again. Aria eyed her fist and looked down at the ground lowering her head. It was a simple act of submission, a way for a siren to tell another they challenged that they essentially “gave up”.
As Aria submitted something Adagio didn’t expect to ever see she felt pity for her sister. By tradition a siren who won a challenge had the right to destroy the other for their transgressions, but Adagio felt nothing but pity for Aria.
She turned away from her sister and walked towards the others and gathered them up to head for her BMP. Kyle ran over to Aria and offered his hand to her. Aria stared at the hand, and for a moment she almost took it, but her pride stopped her and she swatted it away. She then helped herself up and stormed over towards the Abrams tank and lumped on it and sat on her perch in her human form. Everyone watched her as they gathered into the BMP-1 Applejack, Sonata, Pinkie, and Sunset gathered in sealing the door behind them. Miki returned to her helicopter and immediately took off into the air with Adagio following them to Camp Everfree.
Kyle quickly gathered his crew and entered their tank as Aria sulked on her perch. Kyle ordered the bank to followed the BMP-1 back to Everfree while Aria glared at her sister's armored vehicle.
*Kuronuma*
Kuronuma, a man of great prestige from the Simian race of aliens from the third planet from the black hole in outer space. Vague yes, but that was the way the Simians liked it. They thrived on secrecy and deception. It was their cultures, special talent of sort, and Kuronuma leader of this division in invading Earth was a master of it. They were an ape like race with back hair and green skin, but on Earth they disguised themselves as humans with holographic projectors.
He sipped his wine enjoying this bitter red one he’d been saving for this day. His mechagodzilla was repaired and he was awaiting for the final preparations when his computer beeped signaling him there was a message coming in. He leaned forward and with his open hand pushed a tiny red button and leaned back in his chair to sip his wine again. His clean foil looking jumpsuit lightly crinkling as he did.
Another Simian appeared on a hologram screen bowing to Kuronuma.
“Report,” Kuronuma said sipping his wine again.
“Chief, the repairs are complete. We’re ready to launch mechagodzilla again, but the plant creature is blocking the exit towards the city. We’ll have to fight our way out,” The simian said.
Kuronuma sighed. He placed the glass of wine on his armrest of the chair he sat on and stood up, placing his hands behind his back in a fist. “What of our agents in the US and Japanese Defense Force?”
“Our agents provided Major Spitfire with the tanks,” The Simian said. “But, sir, if we give them our technology can’t they use it against us?”
“It won’t matter. The technology in the mausers is obsolete compared to mechagodzilla. We’ll have nothing to fear. Beside,” Kuronuma chuckled taking his wine in hand. “The animosity this human has with the serpent aliens is strong. She’ll deal with them and Godzilla will take care of her and the tanks.”
He sipped his wine once more. He then tilted his head as a thought occurred to him.
“Send word to Mugol in Sector C. Tell him to send Titanosaurus here immediately. We’ll have the beast work with mechagodzilla to destroy the real Godzilla and those annoying serpent women, IF they survive.”
With Kuronuma’s order given the other simian bowed as the holo screen went blank. He sat back down as the computer beeped again. This time it was a repeating series of beeps signaling a proximity alarm. In fact, there were two.
“Interesting,” He said flipping a series of switches. “Let’s see what fate has in store for us today-”
He looked at a holo screen that showed two large seismic anomalies. One was off the coast, clearly Godzilla, the other was closer to Camp Everfree. After a scan was made Kuronuma grinned at the sight.
“Ah… no this will be interesting. Guess we’ll need Titanosaurus after all,” He said, with a evil chuckle.
He returned to sipping his wine as the computer continued to beep. He’d left the screen on showing a map of the entire Canterlot area and surrounding features. In the ocean big red blip beeped with a black out line of Godzilla, while another red blip circled Camp Everfree. This second blip showed the outline of a familiar large Ornithischia that he’d come to know very well in his tie on Earth.
“Let’s see how Anguirus handles the US Army and the plant monster before we send in mechagodzilla,” Kuronuma said, with a grin.

Oh, crud things are getting real!
Soon the epic show down will begin and who's to say who will emerge victorious? Will it be Godzilla and his children? Kuroniuma and the Simians? Perhaps Gaia everfree and Gloriosa will win? Maybe even Spitfire and the G-Force and the US Army?
Al we know is this will be intense and emotions will fly in the last few chapters guys and gals. the end is neigh!

Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines
Amassing of Enemies Part 1
Adagio pulled her tank up to the vine walls that now enclosed Camp Everfree. Not far behind Miki’s helicopter was flying overhead, and close behind Kyle’s tank came to a halt with Aria still coiled up on her spot.
The siren was scowling.
She wasn’t upset, but something was bothering her. Adagio, Sonata, and Rainbow all felt off too. They were all twitchy, agitated even. They could sense danger near by. Their primal instincts were warning them. For Rainbow, it was the first time she really felt the full force of these primal instincts. She felt unnerved by them.
As the group gathered Aria glanced over at Kyle who was talking over his headset, probably to Miki. She then noticed Adagio getting out of her BMP with everyone else. Pinkie skipped out like nothing was wrong with Applejack. Adagio, Rainbow, and Sonata were out last and gathered around Kyles tank where they proceeded to plan what to do next.
“So, anyone got a plan on how to get through?” Adagio asked leaning on the tank.
Aria hissed at her sister for coming near her. She was still peeved at being humiliated in front of the others. Adagio rolled her eyes ignoring her sister.
“Well, the plan is to have Miki try and use her powers to try and communicate with the plant.,” Kyle said. “Hopefully we’ll be able to get the others out and we can go in to determine the alien threat to Earth. Hopefully.”
“Why hopefully?” Rainbow asked butting in. “I mean, why not just blow our way through?”
Kyle sighed, along with almost everyone else at Rainbow’s remark,.
“That’s because the G-Force already tried miss Dash. It won’t work. Matter of fact, I’m surprised the plants haven’t attacked us already.”
At this time miki was coming in for a landing in her helicopter. Exiting the help, she proceeded to run up to the group as the helicopter shut down nearby. The engine whined down, and Miki came right next to Adagio.
“Kyle, we need to be ready. Spitfire is on her way with the entire G-Force arsenal. She even as new tanks provided by my government.”
“Mauser MK IVs?”
Miki nodded.
“That’s not good,” Kyle said as he climbed out of his tank and sat on the edge next to Aria.
Aria huffed as Kyle reached over to scratch behind her ears. The grumpy siren fidgeted away from his hand trying not to succumb to the delightful touch of having that horrible itchy spot behind her left ear to get scratched, but his hand was swift as lighting and precise. The gloved hand found the spot behind her ear and Aria sighed and visibly relaxed at his touch. Even the irate feeling she felt moments ago was gone.
Adagio coughed in her hand quirking her brow at her sister. Adagio had a silly grin on her face that made Aria’s blood boil. She looked away from her sister. Using her body as a spring she forced her form up like a spring and flew into the air and towards the green vines barricading Camp Everfree.
Kyle watched her in shock from her sudden departure. Adagio chuckled. Kyle looked down at her with a confused look on his face. Had he done something wrong? Seemingly sensing his confusion Adagio endeavored to explain.
“Don’t feel bad. Aria was never one to open herself to anyone. She’s… kinda bit of an antisocial recluse-”
“I’M NOT ANTISOCIAL STOP LABELING ME!”
Kyle at Adagio shared a look. Then both fell into a fit of giggles and chuckles.
Meanwhile Miki was nearing the vines with Sunset Shimmer. The two of them approached cautiously as if the vines would lash out at any second now. Sunset kept a few paces back, but Miki steeled her nerves and walked right up to the green colossus. She took a deep calming breath and reached with her hands to touch the vines, but was stopped short when the world around them started to shake.
The entire group turned to see Spitfire rolling up in a heavily armored Japanese Type 10 battle tank with an entire force of mauser tanks and conventional tanks behind her. Kyle was ready to jump in his tank but was caught by the barrel of Spitfire’s tank posed at his face. He looked down the barrel along it’s length to see Spitfire looking at him with a smug grin on her face.
“Looks like I win this time, Commander,” Spitfire said.
She got out of the porthole and onto the top of her tank standing tall and proud over everyone. Behind her tanks were all spread out over the vast area leading up to the wall. Some of the tanks were lined up along a huge ridge overlooking the main roads towards the wall that would have gone to Camp Everfree.
Overhead a massive repulsor craft hovered into view and took place just above the tanks overlooking the ridge. Adagio and the others recognized it as the Super X from the G-Force.
It had been heavily modified since it was last destroyed by Godzilla. It was no longer an egg shape, but more like a black sub that was short with two large jet engines at the rear underbelly of the ship with six repulsor engines keeping it up in the air.
Spitfire crossed her arms over her chest. She was wearing a black jumpsuit with her military boots. She had padded gloves and a flight helmet with the G-Force insignia on it and a small mic on its side. She placed a finger over the mic listening.
“Roger, Sprain. Keep monitoring the wall and prepare to blast through it. We’re gonna take this this place down and save the people inside at any cost.”
With her order given the Super X repositioned itself to face the vined wall. Several missile compartments opened up revealing their payloads of various missiles and rockets. Everyone including Aria gawked at the military craft.
“Impressive isn’t it?” Spitfire asked. “We upgraded it since the last time we encountered Godzilla. This time we equipped it with heat absorbent armor and reflector armor plates as well as anti-radioactive shielding. Those weapons, can burrow a hole through a mountainside with one rocket. Easy pickings for this, plant thing.” She said the last words with nothing but spite in her tone.
*Major, we’re in position.*
“Great Soarin! Load up the absolute zero and clear a path for us!”
Spitfire looked up at the Super XII as it’s dome shaped head opened vertically splitting to reveal a large spherical blue device within. Everyone looked to see it as the device started to hum in a low tone as started to glow bright white.
“What is that thing?” Rainbow asked.
“Yeah, ah never seen anything like it before,” Applejack said shielding her eyes.
“It’s the absolute zero! Are you insane Spitfire?!” Adagio yelled up at the major.
“HUmanity has lost much to beasts like you,” Spitfire retorted with a sneer. “We humans are always at the mercy of monsters like you and Godzilla. It’s time for humanity to take Earth back! Fire the absolute zero!”
On command the absolute zero fired a powerful burst of super cool particles that flew through the air like a ice beam. The particles collided with the vine walls freezing them instantly into a cold blue block of ice, right down to the core. The vines around the affected area were supercooled as well. Almost seconds later the Super XII fired a single rocket at the frozen areas in the vines.
The rocket whistled loudly as it zipped across the air towards the target. Everyone followed its vapor trail as it hit the center of the frozen vines. The following explosion wasn’t big but it was enough to shatter the frozen vines into tiny blocks creating a passage big enough to get through.
Everyone stared in shock at the destructive force the G-Force possessed. The Super XII was always a formidable weapon, but now it was something to be feared. As Spitfire relished in her triumph Miki tried to sneak away to get through the ice, but Spitfire noticed and pulled out her sidearm and took aim.
*Gaia Everfree*
She could sense it. Someone broke through the barrier. Gloriosa was now in a frenzy over the massive military force gathered near her camp. She feared it would become a battleground and be destroyed in the process.
Gaia/Gloriosa looked to the East and saw a massive army of tanks lining up. There was a massive ship they didn’t recognize, but Gloriosa saw one figure she did immediately recognize. Her aunt, Spitfire.
The woman was standing on her tank aiming at another human who had tried to make contact with them once before. She was making a break for the opening in the wall when They noticed Spitfire pulled her sidearm out and took aim at the back of the woman. The firearm discharged and Miki dropped to the ground with a scream. Gloriosa gasped seeing her aunt so mercilessly harm another human being. Gaia sensed her hosts shock feeling a bit of remorse herself.
Their attention was quickly drawn to the earth as it started to shake violently. The tanks remained un affected but the people around them nearly fell over as the ground started to bulge under several of the tanks. This was going to be interesting.
*Outside the Wine Wall*
Adagio nearly fell over as the earth shook under her. Quickly her, Sonata, and Rainbow transformed into their siren forms as the ground behind Spitfire’s tank swelled up like a bubble ready to pop.
Spitfire made an order for the entire tank division to scatter and regroup near the ridge. Quickly as possible, the tanks roared to life as their diesel engines revved to full power. Many of the tanks went in reverse as the earth under them continued to rise speeding their retreat.
The tanks scattered and Sunset gathered Miki and dragged her to Kyle’’s tank where Aria was hovering just above the Commander, snarling at the direction of the ground. Suddenly the ground exploded around the area sending debris all around as Anguirus revealed himself from the depths of the earth. With a mighty roar the reptilian kaiju shook the excess dirt off himself then looked at the hole in the vine walls ignoring the tanks behind him.
Angered by the destruction the kaiju left in its wake Gaia/Gloriosa retaliated by reaching out with a massive vine and whipping Anguirus across its maw. The impact sent him side rolling across the plain and over several of the tanks in Spitfire’s armored brigade.
The Super XII repositioned itself farther away from Anguirus and the vines to get a clear shot at them, but Spitfire told them to hold off on their attack. Word had reached her prior that Godzilla was on his way towards them. She intended to wait for him to get here and watch how things unfolded before she had her team interfer. However she did have to get inside to save the hostages inside.
Spitfire ignored the vines and Anguirus and made her way inside with her tank. The Type 10 rolled over the frozen debris of plants and earth with ease. Plowing though like they were nothing but paper balls in the way. Adagio growled and flew after the tank into the camp. Rainbow Dash and Sonata followed leaving Applejack, Sunset, and Pinkie to tend to the wounded Miki.
Sunset held her in her arms cradling miki as she gasped. Pinkie and Applejack scowled Adagios BMP for any medical supplies there might have been but came up empty. Not far the tanks were scattering and trying to escape Anguirus who was battling the wild vines to the best of its ability. He managed to bite down on the vine digging his sawlike teeth into it. The vine tugged away but his grip held true.
The Gaia couldn’t get him to release his grip. So she decided to simply lift the kaiju up with it and began to repeatedly smash him into the ground until he gave in. Doing this made the entire earth shake. Even Spitfire felt it in her tank. Anguirus roared through its mouth as he was slammed into the ground, and after the tenth time he released his grip from the vine and was thrown a ways back from the vines.
The massive reptile dug his claws in the ground and skidded to a stop just before he hit the human tanks. Again he ignored them. He stared down the vine as several more borrowed out from the ground waving up in the air like fly traps. The tips of each had large buds at the ends. Slowly they began to sway back and forth like a metronome.
Anguirus tilted his head at the vines and followed them back and forth as if he were hypnotized by them. Like a pendulum he sway back and forth back and forth and seemingly unaware of the buds opening up into tiny mouths that had several long serrated teeth in them.
Then as they continued to sway back and forth two of them launched forward and latched onto Anguirus shoulders. He roared in pain and shock from the sudden attack and tried to pull away from his captor. The vines held on as strong as he did to them and no matter what he did nothing seems to be enough to break free.
The Super XII remained nearby, but made no attempt to interfere. As Anguirus continued his struggle against the vines, the kaiju felt his flesh slowly tearing off. If this kept up Anguirus knew it would severely injure him and he’d have to take a long time to regenerate. He remembered his jaw when it was last broken. That took forever to heal.
However as his arms nearly gave in a blue blast cut through the vines and collided with a part of the plant wall blowing it apart. Anguirus turned to see where the blast came from, even Gaia had to avert her attention to see what was happening. Not far off in the distance stood tall and proud Godzilla, puffing his chest out and releasing am mighty roar that shook the ground beneath him.
*Spitfire*
Spitfire's Type 10 tank rolled over the terrain of Camp Everfree easily. She was quickly approaching the cabin area where she could see a few people huddled together. She recognized a few of them as Adagio’s friends but there was no sign of her niece. As she rolled up in her tank and ordered it to halt she received a transmission that Godzilla Has appeared. Soarin was ready to take the Super X into combat, but Spitfire ordered him to hold off for the time being. With the order given Soarin obeyed, and Spitfire got out of her tank to go speak with the stranded campers. She hoped one of them would be able to tell her what happened to her niece, but the answer she would get wouldn’t leave her pleased.

So here we are gathering up all the major powers together for the final showdown. We got in one corner Godzilla, then Gaia/Gloriosa, then Spitfire and the G-Force, and along for the ride Adagio and party. Not to mention aliens with a giant robot!

Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines

Hey there everyone!
I have a bit of a confession to make. Not long ago my laptop ate it and I had to repair it. That made me lose all my notes and I had forgotten by that point what I had in mind for the ending of the story. I remembered the broad points of the story but for the sake of it I'm cutting it down considerably. To that effect, i only plan to add one maybe two more chapters plus the epilogue before ending this story. I thank you all for your support for this story and hope you'll enjoy this delayed chapter!
Amassing Enemies Part 2
There was no warning when Spitfire came rampaging through Camp Everfree. With her was two Mauzers and four jeeps. After rescuing the remaining campers Spitfire interrogated them while a massive battle was happening outside the confines of the plant wall. She asked them where her niece Gloriosa was, but when none of them knew where she was she grew angry and stormed through the cabins and various areas around the camp looking for her. At her side was ten Japanese and ten American soldiers, all armed to the teeth. M-16 rifles, grenades, one was even equipped with a M240.
Spitfire was determined to find her niece at all costs. With the rest of the campers to a secure location. Once she was sure they were gone they began their search. It wasn’t long before they reached the center of the camp where they happened upon a massive plant-like structure with a large rose-like top brimmed with razor-sharp teeth.
“Holy crud,” Spitfire said, looking up at the massive structure. “What is it?”
High above them Gloriosa glanced down sensing her aunt's presence, as well as many others. All of them very afraid of her. She didn’t want to hurt them, but she didn’t want them interfering either. But between fighting two kaiju and trying to fend off the combined forces of Japan and America at the same time her mind was being taxed enough. Even with Biollante's help, the task was proving difficult. Sneezing the rising tension in her host, Biollante reached to Glorioso's mind taking control.
‘Rest child. I’ll take over for now.’
“Thanks. Please don’t hurt the humans,” She asked closing her eyes to rest.
‘I won’t,” Biolanttene promised.
*Deep Underground in camp Everfree*
Godzillas emergence set everyone on edge. Chief Kuronuma was now worried their whole operation would be in jeopardy. He activated his control panel with a small monitor and called his chief technician.
“Zu, what’s the status of Mechagodzilla?” He asked.
A man in a similarly metallic jumpsuit answered the call. “Chief, the repairs are almost complete. Mechagodzilla will be ready in a few minutes.”
“Good. Inform me when it's ready. I want to send it out to deal with a problem. Also, I want you to send a group out and eliminate the humans in the camp,” He ordered.
“Aye, sir!”
It was now a matter of waiting. However, Kuronuma was a patient man. He’d waited over thirty years to begin his conquest of Earth. He could wait a little longer. But time was not on his side. His planet was about to be consumed by a black hole. He had to act soon less his home become consumed by a black hole.
From his monitoring station, he watched as the fight resumed outside the confines of the camp. So far things were looking up. This plant like creature was proving useful in keeping the kaiju of Earth out for Mechagodzilla to repair.
“A most fortuitous turn of events,” He said grinning at the monitor.
*Spitfire and Team*
Spitfire was in a really bad mood. She barked at the soldiers ordering them to search the camp until her niece was found before pulling out a small device and started running off on her own.
However one of the soldiers was sitting in the back of the group alone. She scurried off on her own looking around as if she were following something. Closer behind her were two more female soldiers one acting very timid.
“Are you sure it’s this way?” The timid one asked the leader.
“Yes, I’m sure. I can sense magic this way. Stay close you two.”
“Adagio, the fight is back there! We should go back and-”
Adagio ripped off her helmet and stared the woman down making her recoil in fear. “And do what Rainbow?! My father is out there risking his life for the human who doesn’t give a damn about him! I’m not gonna stop until I find what he’s looking for!”
Rainbow looked back at the other soldier who took her helmet off revealing herself to be Miki.
“I can sense your anxiety Adagio, but yelling at us won’t solve the problem. We need to work together if we’re to get through this,” Miki said softly reaching for Adagio.
However, the siren snarled gripping the human's wrist and twisting it nearly snapping her wrist in doing so. Rainbow stepped forward to stop her, but Adagio pushed her back with enough force to send her flying several meters back. She then lifted Miki up and glared at her eye to eye.
Baring her teeth she hissed in a deep gurgling growl, “If you ever touch me and use your powers on me you will not live to regret it.”
With her warning given she threw the girl to the side and continued her search. Miki slowly recovered and was helped by Rainbow Dash as they ran to catch up.
“I’m sorry about her. She doesn’t like telepaths.” Rainbow said bluntly. “She won’t tell me why.”
“It’s fine. I can sense she’s a troubled soul. She needs healing. Healing that I could never provide,” Miki said holding onto Rainbow’s hand. “I can sense your feelings for her alone. They’re very strong. You would move the heavens and dive into the deepest levels of Hell for her wouldn’t you?”
Rainbow didn’t have to think about it for even a second. The answer was as natural as breathing was to her. Of course, she would do that for Adagio. The siren meant everything to her. She loved her, but Rainbow had to admit adagio was hard to get along with. She was a predatory siren, with nothing to hunt. IN place of that she now protected Rainbow and her sisters like a wild animal would protect its territory. Adagio was a fierce force to reckon with. Yet, Rainbow was drawn to her like a moth to a flame. A never-ending dance to keep balance between their lives.
Yet now after seeing Adagio like this, she knew something was up. A short while ago she was fine, now since her father showed up she’d been acting odd. Finally, she came to a clearing where there was a cave and at the entrance was Spitfire herself. The older human was holding a strange device that was beeping frantically as she inched towards the cave.
He beeping intensified as they entered the cave. Where nature had overrun everything outside, inside the cave was barren and lifeless. Or so it seemed. Inside was a unique form of plants the like of which none of them seen.
There was large plant like structures called upon themselves forming almost rocklike structures that acted as support for the cave. They were black and had a glowing red crystal inside that helped light the areas around them. The roof was solid rock and aside from that, there was nothing of interest except a large central crystalline formation. This structure was in the center of the room and was made of several stalagmites with a central panel of stone.
Adagio, Rainbow, and Miki hid behind a stone pillar while Spitfire approached the pedestal. Her scanner was beeping fast and loud now as she held it over the geodes. She picked one up and ran her device over it like she was scanning it. When the beeping suddenly turned into an alarm sound she looked around to find Adagios hair sticking out from behind the rock, even though she took cover.
Spitfire drew her pistol and quietly snuck around the back. Adagio peeked out but didn’t see Spitfire anywhere nearby.
“Where did she go?” Adagio asked Rainbow, who shrugged in response.
There was a sound of a gunshot behind them. Adagio instantly transformed into her siren form and snarled turning to see Spitfire lying on the ground gripping her side and a man in a tinfoil-like suit aiming a pistol of some sort at her. Miki screamed and jumped back making the man aim at her, but Adagio flew next to him spinning her body to tail whip him against the wall. His body hit the wall with a sickening snapping noise as he fell limply to the ground, his back clearly broken.
Rainbow gasped at the sight holding her hands over her mouth. She stared at the dead man while Adagio growled down at Spitfire, who in turn was coughing up blood and smirking at her.
“Well, ain't this the run of events/” She gasped. “Here I was going to shot you in the back, but got it myself. The irony.”
Adagios sniffed hard and bared her teeth at Spitfire. But she showed no fear of the siren, instead, she punched Adagios curved snout causing a sharp pain in Adagio’s nose. She growled rubbing her nose. She glared at Spitfire with eyes filled with hate. She opened her mouth and was ready to snap the life from Spitfire when Rainbow jumped in front of her.
“Adagio stop!!”
“Get out of the way you idiot! She’ll kill you too! They all will!” Spitfire yelled at Rainbow.
Rainbow glowered back at Spitfire. “No, she won’t hurt me,” She looked back at Adagio with complete determination to break through to her. “I know she won’t hurt me intentionally. Bruise maybe, but she’d never hurt me, much less kill me.”
Adagio indeed didn’t hurt Rainbow. Instead, she transformed back to her human form and stared at Rainbow. After a few seconds, Adagios brushed past Rainbow and walked right up to Spitfire, and kicked her in the side where she’d been shot. Spitfire screamed and passed out from the pain.
Once she was out, Adagio picked up Spitfire and gave her to Miki.
“Take her out of her and get the rest of the humans out of here. Things are about to get real nasty around here.” She warned the girl.
Miki nodded silently and took Spitfire with her out of the cave, but not before she looked back at the pedestal and the geodes on it. Adagio and Rainbow remained in the cave inspecting the dead man. His face was now completely green, with long black carouse hair and fang teeth.
“He kinda looks like a green gorilla,” Rainbow stated picking him with her foot.
Indeed the creature was very apelike in its facial structure. However, it acted very much like a human. Adagio kicked him once more to make sure he wasn’t alive. Satisfied she searched around to try and figure out where he’d come from. She was covering the entrance she would have known if he came from that way, but then where did he come from? Rainbow looked around when Adagio suddenly transformed and charged her voice. Rainbow had just enough time to duck when adagios released a powerful beam attack in a circle destroying everything in the cave including the pedestal and three of the colored geodes with it.
The earth shook around them as a loud screaming was echoed through the entire camp. In the cave, it echoed so loudly that rainbow and Adagio had to cover their ears from the brain-splitting scream. Rock, sand, and steel fragments exploded all around the cave and Rainbow tried to cover herself from the flying fragments. In the end, it didn’t matter, for Adagio was using her own body the shield her fragile human partner. Despite this Rainbow proceeded to give her an earful, which Adagio ignored.
When the dust settled Adagio found what she was looking for. Near the back of the cave, there was a door that had once been hidden in the rock. Now completely open and expose she slowly flew towards the opening she made but was topped by two men in similar suits barring weapons at her.
“Ugh, this is going to take forever.” She growled and proceeded to maul the men.
*Outside the Wall*
Godzilla was fighting a losing battle. Between the human tanks, Biollante's vines, and fending off Anguirus, the massive beast was taking a beating. However, Anguirus was fairing no better. His hard spiky shell was fractured from constant bombardment and subsequent attacks from Godzilla and Biollante.
To gain an advantage he rolled up into a spiked ball and started tearing at the ground like a wheel. He then shot forward with blinding speed and rammed through several human tanks before he collided with Godzilla pushing him back several meters. Godzilla managed to push Anguirus to the side and sent him rolling away, but Anguirus managed to turn around and made another attempt on Godzilla. Godzilla retaliated by whipping his tail around and knocked Injurious into the vine wall destroying another part of it. Now on it's back, the Anguirus was effectively immobilized.
The human tanks and mausers began a full out attack on the monsters and the vines. The Super X-II repositions itself and released a barrage of cadmium missiles on Godzilla's back. Aria, however, wasn’t sitting around and allowing this to go unchallenged. In her siren form, she flew to the skies and like her father, she lifted her tail and gave it a mighty swing at the Super X-II.
The human repulsor craft shook but was otherwise unharmed save for a large dent where the tail met it. But Aria didn’t stop there. At point-blank range she shot a powerful red magical beam that hit the dented spot on the Super X-II. The dent was the scorched but not broken through thanks to the added shielding.
Falling back Aria prepared to attack again but was stopped when a tank shot at her back. The hard heavy shell of the tank sent her pummeling to the ground with enough force to create a dust cloud. Now in a small hole in the ground, Aria shook her head and stretching her now sore back. With a vicious snarl, she wrapped her tail around her and closed her eyes and focused her energy on her tail. With one swing she released the magical energy in an explosive arc that destroys several of the tanks and the humans within them.
From the Super X-II, Soarin saw the devastation coming out of the tiny creature. He was being backed into a corner and he hates that. The loss of life was too much already. He ordered all his forces back and ordered the Super X-II to cover the retreat. Aria, however, wasn't about to let the humans live.
She chased after them with the intent to annihilate them completely. She starts with a retreating tank. Flying over it she snapped down on the tank commander and yanked him out and ate him in one gulp. She then nose-dived into the tank hatch leaving her body out of it. Several screams echoed in the tank before it blew apart and Aria took to the skies again. She repeated this several times and the humans were powerless to stop her. However, by the tenth tank, Godzilla was staring back and watching her destroy the humans.
He let out a loud screech and Aria suddenly stopped her attack. She roared back at her father and gesturing angrily to the retreating humans. Godzilla shook his head turning away to face the vines. Now Aria was mad. How dare he ignore her? Treat her like a child throwing a tantrum? She would make him listen. She snarled back at him firing her red beam breath at his back, and what she got in response was a swift strike from his tail that sent her flying across the fields. She felt the full force of her father's tail and knew she shouldn’t have challenged him.
Suddenly the earth shook as Aria seed a powerful magical force coming from the core of the camp. Even Godzilla stopped and glanced into the camp. Biollante was shivering violently. The vine walls slowly began to wither and die. Aria glanced at the core a smirk growing on her lips.
She flew to the sky directly to the power source. She was intent on gaining the magical power deep within or her own. Far behind her, she heard her father stretch at her a warning. his warning was simple enough he warned her not take the power for herself. But Aria ignored his warning and headed straight for the magical power that she sensed Equestrian Magic.
Like a shark being led by Blood she quickly follows the magic to its source. It wasn't long before she came up to a cave entrance. Along with it were two very familiar sense and one less familiar but familiar enough sent. she could smell Adagio and Rainbow Dash deep within the cave but the other sent Spitfire was faded as if she was here but not anymore. Not bothering to change to a human for Aria slowly into the cave following the scent of the equestrian Magic. when she arrived she noticed there had been an immense amount of damage done to the cave. nearby she saw and Rainbow Dash entering a hole in the wall. Aria sniffed the air trying to locate the source of magic. She glanced down at a nearby rubble pile, underneath which she could smell the Equestria Magic She was drawn to it.
she buried her nose deep in the rubble sniffing through and removing it so she could find its source. When she did she found several fractured Geodes. Aria quickly inspected the geodes there were six in total three of them are broken apart into the small shards while the other three remained relatively intact with small fractures upon their surface.
She grinned scooping up the geodes and swallowed them whole. She felt nothing at first, but then there was a powerful energy surge and she felt her body become enchanted with powerful magic. She’d never felt such power before and now she was ready to take on the humans. But something else changed. She also felt the power being shared with another. She’d have to deal with that eventually, but first, she wanted to know what Adagio and Rainbow were doing.
She hovered over to the dead bodies of three strange creatures. Sniffing them she wondered if these were the aliens she was told about from Miki and Kyle. If that was the case she had to destroy them before they had a chance to do anything. Earth would soon be hers. If her father would not claim it or her sisters she would.
So she followed them into the hole in the wall. And then things got really crazy.
Kuronuma was shaken when the arms of his hidden bunker base went off. There was an intruder. He didn’t like intruders. Taking his pistol in hand he activated the computer to his technician.
“What’s the status of Mechagodzilla?”
“Chief, the main power is offline. We can’t launch Mechagodzilla!”
Kuronuma groaned rubbing his head. “In that case we have little choice. Shut down the facility for now and prepare Mechagodzilla for launch.I’ll handle the intruders myself.” He said.
The technician bowed as the monitor went blank leaving Kuronuma to his thoughts. He left the bunker and went straight to the hangar where Mechagodzilla was. The hangar was also very massive expanding several miles around to accommodate the massive mecha deep underground. It stood on a large elevator platform that could reach the surface but currently has locked down.
*Warning! Intruders are heading for the main hangar! All security teams protect Mechagodzilla at all costs!*
“Damn,” Kuronuma hastened his pace to the hangar.
Once there he saw the security team was standing guard. They saluted him and allowed him to pass. He approached Mechagodzilla which was stationed between two, three-hundred-meter tall frames with walkways on them. They attached to the mecha at several points where repair crews were sealing vital areas preparing Mechagodzilla for launch. Kuronuma made his way to an elevator and took it to the chest of the giant robot. Once there he exited it and passed by his master technician.
“Sir, the cockpit is ready for you! We armed Mechagodzilla with a modified mauser cannon. Should be enough to fend off Godzilla.”
“Excellent. Make sure this area’s clear and I’ll-”
*Thoom!*
Kuronuma was cut off by a earth-shaking quake. A mighty screech echoed all over the base pained, and feeble. Kuronuma grinned triumphantly.
“It seems Biollante is failing. This will prove most interesting. Prepare for launch. I’ll take Mechagodzilla myself. Evacuate the base to Alpha Site after it’s launched.”
“Yes chief!”
Th technician bowed and ran to the elevator. The alarms sounded signaling everyone to evacuate the base. Kuronuma, however, remained and Everfree hatch to the chest of Mechagodzilla. Inside was single seated cockpit with many monitors and controls around it. Kuronuma seated himself and strapped in, casually watching the monitors as he powered up the mecha. As he did he watched as his men were slaughtered by a serpent-like creature while two humans searched the base but we're heading for Mechagodzilla hangar.
He let out a menacing laugh as the supports retracted and Mechagodzilla was set free. Flexing the arms to test the motions of Mechagodzilla. Kuronuma scanned the base and saw that his men were all gone and all that was left were two unidentified creatures and a human with erratic biosigns.
“This should be interesting,” He said.
*Adagio and Rainbow*
Adagio was applied by the destruction Aria left in her wake. It was no surprise when Adagio and Rainbow found the dead aliens all around. Aria barely had any restraint and when it came to perceived threats she never held back unless Adagio kept her on a short leash. However this time she was out for blood, and even Adagio wasn’t sure about the chances they had to stop her. She simply followed the destruction with Rainbow right behind her but struggling to keep up. Adagio could tell rainbow was having trouble seeing all this death around her. Yes, they were aliens invading Earth, but it didn’t make seeing all this death any easier for her. Adagio stopped and took rainbow in her arms holding her close.
“Rainbow, don’t force yourself to do this. This is our fight, not yours. You don’t need to get involved anymore. Let me and Aria handle this,” She said softly kissing Rainbow’s head.
Rainbow shook her head.
“No, I can do this. I can-”
“No, you can’t. You’ll only get in the way Rainbow. Go back and wait with in the cave. I’ll come back after I deal with the aliens and Aria.”
“Wait, what do you mean, Aria? Isn’t it good she’s killing the aliens?” Rainbow asked.
“Perhaps, but this is something me and Aria struggled with long before you were even born. She’s giving into her primal instincts to be a siren,” Adagio explained. “She always did. After we lost our powers because of you and your friends it changed us. For Sonata and I, it was for the better, but Aria only became bitter towards humanity. She’s lashing out Rainbow, I have to stop her before she goes too far.”
Rainbow nodded slowly. “I guess I get that.”
Adagio smiled hugging Rainbow once more, to which Rainbow Hugged back squeezing Adagios waist.
“Hey now, hands up a bit sweetheart,” She teased her lover.
Rainbow’s response was a swift spank in her rear making Adagio giggle. She slapped Rainbow upside her head in response. “You cheeky thing!”
“I love you Adagio,” Rainbow said.
“I love you too. Now go wait for me.”
Rainbow nodded and turned to head back to the base but not before yelling back to Adagio, “You better bring Aria back too!”
Adagio nodded and waved to Rainbow watching to make sure she left. Turning away Adagio transformed into her siren form. With her tail, she smashed a nearby door panel causing a massive blast door to close behind her. Now rainbow couldn’t follow her. She was sure the fool would try too, this way she knew Rainbow would be out of any immediate danger. She then proceeded down the halls which all lead in one direction. Eventually, she found Aria ripping apart the guards to the hangar. Aria snarled at Adagio, her chest glowing red, orange, and violet.
“What are you doing here Aria?” Adagio asked her sister.
“I’m claiming this world!” Aria replied. “As we should have! Only this time I will do it alone and you won’t hold me back!”
“You’re such a spoiled child,” Adagio said coldly to Aria. “Think of what you’re throwing away. What you're giving up.”
‘I don’t care.”
“What about father?”
Hah! Father is weak and old! With the new power, I just obtained from the cave I’ll be unstoppable! I already am unstoppable!!”
“What? What power? Aria what did you do?” Adagio asked sounding concerned.
Aria cackled throwing a body at Adagio. She swung her tail to knock it backsliding next to Aria.
“Hey, I found a source of Equestrian magic! And I never would have found it had you now destroyed the cave entrance!” She grinned at Adagio with a confident smirk. “I should thank you for that.”
“Aria, please. Humanity is worth saving.”
“They only thing humans are good for is food and slaves! They’ve never done anything else for us!”
“Even Kyle who saved you from Spitfire?” Adagio Asked.
“BAh, he’s just another human out to get something from me! He means nothing to me!”
“Sure he doesn’t.”
Aria roared charging Adagio and biting her on the neck. Adagio flung backward sending Aria into the concrete wall. The wall cracked from the massive impact Aira’s body gave it. She shook the hit off and was back up in an instant.
“Ha, you’re weak! If you were the same Adagio from the Battle of the Bands you would have killed me in one go! Your emotions have made you weak,” Aria snarled.
Adagio shook her head, her fins swaying back and forth with each motion she made. “And your arrogance and hate have blinded you. I won’t let you hurt the humans, nor will I allow the aliens to take this world. I will do what I must, but I ask you, sister to sister, please Aria stop this madness before it's too late.”
Aria didn’t respond. She coiled up like a cobra hissing at Adagio. Adagio signed imitating Aria’s movements.
“So be it, Aria.”
“Don’t worry Adagio. When this is all over I’ll remember you fondly. For the siren you once were,” Aria said rearing her neck back. “Goodbye, sister.”
Then without warning both sirens flung at each other. The two sirens collided in the air snapping and growling at each other, their razor-sharp teeth digging into each others scales and flesh. Their long serpent bodies rolling over like a ball causing them to roll around the hallways and bumping into the walls. Neither was gaining any ground over the other, so Adagio decided to break apart for a tactical retreat to gain a better footing over Aria.
Aria gave chase not willing to let Adagio bring the fight on her terms. She reached out with her neck biting down on Adagio’s tail. Her teeth sunk deep in the scales and with a swift pulled she brought Adagio To a halt mid-air. Then with a twist of her long neck she threw Adagio’s body against a large metal door. The doors gave in and broke apart with Adagio flying through and sliding along the concrete floor.
Aria followed close behind giving Adagio only a few seconds to recover, but even that wasn’t enough. Aria was on a magical high and was completely overpowering the elder siren. However, her attention was broke when she noticed Mechagodzilla standing behind Adagio. She backed off and glared up at the mechanized monstrosity based on her father.
Then the feedback of speakers came on and Aria glazed upwards towards the giant robot.
“Welcome beasts, I’m sure you know what this is especially if Agent Miki was with you. So I’ll spare you the long-winded explanation. I am General Kuronuma, and welcome to Beta Site.”
“Are you the aliens invading earth!?” Adagio asked up at the mech.
“Indeed we are,” Kuronuma replied.
“Why are you doing this?” Adagio asked.
Aria growled. “It doesn’t matter why they’re doing it! Let’s just kill them all and get this over with!”
Kuronuma voice chuckled over the speakers. Mechagodzilla activated. Its eyes glowed bright red before turning yellow and it’s massive hulking body began to move and stand more upright. Aria and Adagio prepared themselves to fight as Mechagodzilla roared down at the pint-sized sirens.
“Come now. Do you really think your powers are a match for Mechagodzilla?” Kuronuma asked.
Aria huffed in response.
“Let’s find out!”
Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines

Adagio’s head was ringing.
The last thing she remembered was colliding with the side of a wall before being enveloped by an intense burning light. Next thing she knew was she was moving. Someone was carrying her outside from the caves deep in the mountain where she fought Mechagodzilla and Aria. Her mind raced to play catch up with her and she remembered Aria being hit by the powerful light. Fathers voice! She recalled realizing Aria took her father's breath attack full on.
She felt her heart sank as she remembered hearing Aria’s cries as her father attacked the mountain. She felt her body revert to its human form as she was placed inside a vehicle. The rumbling of the engine started and Adagio felt it shift as it began to drive off somewhere. She then felt a hand gently run through her hair as a raspy voice spoke to her.
“Don’t worry, Dagi, we got you.”
“Rainbow?”
Adagio tried to look up at the person who spoke. She then realized she was laying of rainbow Dash’s lap. The athletic woman was smiling down at her and running her fingers through the sirens orange curly hair.
“Hey hot stuff. Miss me?” She asked Adagio in her usual egotistical manner.
Adagio stifled a giggle and reached out to sock her lovers shoulder playfully. Rainbow laughed rubbing her shoulder tenderly from the strike.
“Nice to see you dunderhead,” Adagio said reaching for her girlfriends hand.
The two held hands and Rainbow bent down and lifted the siren to her to touch their foreheads together. The intimate gesture brought deep heated blushes rom both of them as they shared a tender kiss. The kiss was short but sweet and when it was broken the two lovers looked into each others eyes with a deep sense of relief.
“I’m glad you made it out, Dagi.” Rainbow Dash said rubbing the sirens hand against her cheek. “I don’t know what I would have done if I lost you again.”
Adagio hugged her lover squeezing her hard around her waist. Rainbow shifted uncomfortably but made no effort to removed the woman from her. She simply allowed Adagio to stay and hug her while Applejack drove them to safety, while trying to ignore their intimate affections.
A loud roar divided her already split attention and almost made her drive off the road. The truck jerked and Adagio hit her head on the door leaving a small dent.
“Hey! Watch where you’re driving redneck!” Adagio yelled at Applejack.
“Grrr… call me that again and I’ll run you over!” Applejack yelled looking behind her at the two sirens.
“AJ, look out!” Rainbow yelled pointing out the window.
Applejack barely~ had enough time to register what was happening when a green vine broke through the ground blocking her vision. “S*$@!”
*Godzilla and Biollante*
The standoff came to an end when Godzilla crouched down and charged Biollante. The massive hulking plant kaiju screeched in response swinging its many vine arms at Godzilla trying to grab hold of him. His massive body and speed easily outmatched Biollante flimsy plant arms. He pushed through and drove his head into the soft orange belly sac of Biollante sending a wave of pain through her.
She retaliated by bitting him with all her mouthed vines. The powerful jaws clamped down on the elder sirens back chutes to absorb his magical energy. The magical energy formed a blue hue through Godzilla’s chutes and was absorbed through Brillantes mouths and drawn towards her orange bloated belly sac. Godzilla noticed the energy flow and the sac began to glow brighter with each passing second.
There was an intense magical buildup in Biollante and Godzilla knew he was about to get a face full of it. He felt it in his bones. With all the force he could muster Godzilla lungged himself towards his green plant foe. Biolantes arm mandibles snapped at him trying to stop his advance but were too slow to catch him. What few did were nearly powerless to stop him. They didn’t have to.
As soon as Godzilla Made contact with Biolantes body the red sc released a powerful blast into his gut that sent him flying back. The force of the blast dragged him in the ground for a good while before dissipating and allowing him a chance to recover. The follow up attack from Biollante was to use her arms to ensnare Godzilla’s limbs immobilizing him. Successfully trapping her victim Biollante moved in for the kill.
Her massive hulking body trudged forward through the dirt inching close to Godzilla. The King of the monsters tried to break free from his binds, thrashing and swinging his limbs to break free to no avail. In his struggle he tried biting off the vines that constricted around his body. Eventually he managed to tear through a few but was unable to completely free himself. Before he had a chance Biollante was on him. She reared back with her massive maw opening wide as if she planned to engulf him.
Then she did try just that. With the force of an oversized alligator BIolatte snapped her mouth down over Godzilla’s body engulfing half his massive body. Acid oozed out of her teeth and seeped over his body burning his scales and slowly melting his scutes on his back. Biollante chuckled having captured her prey sure of her victory. Then it happened. Godzilla’s body began to glow and very quickly Biollante realized her fumble.
Biollante panicked trying to release Godzilla from her grasp but the tables turned too quickly. In his struggle to break free Godzilla had wrapped the vines of Biollante around him so she was forced to face him at point blank range. This followed by her own arrogance lead her to become his prey. She was trapped with no escape. With one sinister growl as the power surge reached its peak Godzilla growled glaring down her throat and hissed in his ancient tongue, “With age comes wisdom young one.”
Then he released his voice deep down her throat. With no escape available Biollante resided to her fate to become one with the earth again. Her body exploded in a cloud of green a dirt as Godzilla’s attack destroyed her very core and created a massive dust cloud that spanned over the entire camp. All the magic that was absorbed by Biollante spewed into the air around them like a bright rainbow cloud. UNwilling to let anyone take it Godzilla focused his voice and inhaled deeply. His body then literally inhaled the magic cloud around him as the dust around him swirled form the forces around it.
Once all the magic had been absorbed Godzilla roared with enough force to expel the dust cloud around him and forced it outwards. The dust rolled over the entire camp like a swarm of locusts covering everything. What few animals were left hid wherever they could out of fear of the massive monster that destroyed the camp. As the dust settled Godzilla’s form stood out in the center of the camp with his devastated foe’s remains before him.
Far from the battle atop a hill a cloaked female figure was watching. With a growl she held up a golden toned arm that had three red gems held by straps of leather around her forearm. Clenching her fist she punched outward towards Godzilla in the dust and gave a wicked grin. She watched as he turned to leave the area and began to march back the way he came, most likely heading back towards the ocean. She followed his movements until he came to a stop. Slowly he looked back in her direction and for a brief moment their eyes made contact and the woman said, “I’ll see you soon, old man.”
With her declaration made she turned a vanished as the cloud of dust rolled over her. Meanwhile Godzilla growled feeling a something he had not felt since coming to this world. Fear . He recognized the figure’s scent. An ancient enemy who he thought was long gone had rememerged but somehow seemed different, weaker even. He would have to be on his guard from here on out. As he turned to head back to the ocean a familiar gasp from the rubble of the mountain caught his attention. Once more he glanced back and there among the rubble was a tattered and badly burned Aria. He smiled feeling relieved she survived and was free from the magic that consumed her. Though now it was within him he was glad his kin were free from it but it would cost him greatly later. For now he would rest easy knowing his kin were safe. For now and returned to the sea as a powerful storm approached from overseas.
Legend of the Sirens: Wild Vines
It has been three days since Godzilla returned to the sea. In that time a lot had happened. A powerful storm hit Canterlot City for the last three days and was still going strong. Godzilla disappeared and hasn’t been seen since, the G-Force was organized into the G-Force Tactical Response Unit, and Spitfire retired to spend time with her family. While that was happening Adagio was recovering from her fight with Aria and the aliens Mechagodzilla. Rainbow Dash in all that time was by her side and refused to leave her at any point until she got better.
On the third day Adagio awoke in her bed with Rainbow Dash at her side. They were in Adagio’s apartment room snug against each other in bed like nothing was wrong. Adagio felt her head was throbbing and gripped it after a sharp pain went through her forehead like a hammer. The constant throbbing annoyed her greatly and caused her to moan in agony. Her groaning awoke Rainbow from her sleep. Rubbing her tired eyes she smiled and reached for Adagio and hugged her gently around her waist.
“Well, well, somebody finally decided to wake up,” Rainbow said leaning in and kissing Adagio.
“Yeah, sorry I overslept. Guess now you can say you don’t oversleep as much as I do now,” Adagio said jokingly.
“Yeah, but you know I only want to spend every moment of my life with you, right?” Rainbow asked with a hint of playfulness in her tone.
Adagio giggled taking a moment to roll over on her other side to face Rainbow. The young woman was under the covers with her and was wearing a black tank top her long messy prismatic hair tied up into a ponytail. She lay there beside Adagio with a big smile on her face, her red gem dangling around her neck. Adagio reached for her lover caressing her cheek with loving hands. Rainbow practically purred at Adagio’s touch feeling a sense of pride being with her like this.
Rainbow returned the gesture by scooting closer and taking hold of Adagio around her waist. The two shared a tender moment rubbing their noses before falling asleep again. The sounds of the city outside became nothing more than back noise as the rested in each others embrace. But Adagio awoke after a few minutes thinking back on the fight with Aria.
“You’re still worried about her aren’t you?” Rainbow asked, startling her.
“Y-yeah. I know she hates humanity, but I still love her. She is my sister after all,” Adagio said petting Rainbow’s hair.
“I know. We’ll keep an eye out for her. For now let’s rest and take some time off for just ourselves. I’ve waited a long time for us to go on a little vacation since all the crazy happened,” Rainbow said softly in Adagio’s ear.
Adagio smiled pulling Rainbow closer. “Yeah, let’s do something with just the two of us,” She said nuzzling Rainbow’s cheek and falling asleep in her arms again.
The next several hours went by in the blink of an eye and in that time the two lovers went undisturbed by the world around them. Both had their phones off and didn’t want anything to interrupt their sleep.
In the darkness of sleep Adagio had a strange dream. It started with her in a black void devoid of any color or life. It was a cold place that chilled her to her soul. She didn’t know where she was but it felt strangely familiar, but it was filled with bitterness and pure cruelty that couldn’t be described. Yet, she felt oddly comfortable here in this dark world. Then a glowing series of red lights caught her attention in the darkness as a figure emerged from the depths.
The figure walked slowly from the void chuckling evilly as a black veil overshadowed them. This left them nearly featureless except for the strong build and feminine curves of the figure. When it approached Adagio felt her blood run cold yet she didn’t fear this person. They stopped just a stone's throw away from her and crossed their arms over the chest leaning to one side with a sharp toothy grin that she’d only seen in movies and sirens.
“Welcome home, sister,” The figure said in a deep raspy voice.
They were definitely female from what Adagio could tell, and their voice only confirmed that. It was somewhere between a New England or Scottish accent from what Adagio could tell. Her hair was short and spiked with long bangs hanging over her right eye with two reverse curled horns on either side of her head. She was wearing a sleek body tight slack pants with a nice leather belt and a dress shirt and business vest. The shirt however was cut showing off her midriff.
Adagio could only stare at the woman waiting to see what she had to say when she noticed the red lights all around the figure. She gasped at their sight. All over this female figure were red gems worn over bands of leather, not unlike how Aria dressed prior to the battle of the bands. Each leather band had three or more siren gems adorning them like a woman would wear fine jewelry. The figured noticed Adagio staring at their left arm and chuckled that same evil laugh and raised their arm to show off their collection.
“Ah, I see you admiring my collection sister. Whatever happened to yours?” The woman asked flexing her tone muscular arm gripping one band over her hand into a fist. “Or, did you abandon all that when you betrayed us?”
The woman sneered hissing as her eyes glowed red and golden lightning shot from her mouth. Adagio rolled to the side barely dodging the attack. Before she had a chance to recover a strong had was strangling her neck. The woman had moved the distance in a blink of an eye to catch her mid roll. Between struggling to break free and gasping for breath Adagio managed to mutter out a few words to her assailant.
“W-who a-are you?!”
“What?!” The woman screeched. “What do you mean who am I?! I’m your sister damn you! Cantana Pulse! Why don’t you remember me!? We use to do everything together with Forte Pulse!!”
“Who is that?” Adagio asked feeling the grip loosen around her neck, but still held firm.
“She’s our elder sister you stupid idiot! How this body has made you soft and weak!” The woman declared arrogantly.
Then she suddenly stopped her rant and glared narrowing eyes at Adagio. She had the look like someone who had just figured something out. She suddenly gasped and released Adagio dropping her to the floor. She then knelt down and placed her hand on Adagio’s shoulders. There was a surprisingly gentle touch to this gesture that Adagio wasn’t expecting.
The woman, Cantana Pulse reached out with one finger pointing at Adagio. Her nails were long and sharp like talons painted jet black. One of the gems glowed as it came closer to Adagio’s forehead. She tried to pull away but was held in place as Cantana continued.
“That bastard,” She hissed under her breath. “He sealed your memories! That’s why you don’t remember! Well, I’ll just have to fix that!”
With a gentle hum the gem on her arm glowed brighter as a deep red pentagram appeared an inch from Adagio’s forehead. Afraid of what might happen Adagio struggled to break free but soon realized her voice isn't working. Her mouth moved but she couldn’t say anything. She suddenly felt it was hard to breath and found herself struggling to stay ‘awake’. The pentagram came into contact with Cantana’s nail and shattered instantly .
When this happened Adagio felt her head ache. A pulsing sensation overcame her as she felt like her head was about to explode. ‘Adagioooo’ a voice called to her from the darkness as she felt her lungs stressing due to a lack of oxygen. The woman let out a feral cry calling for Adagio.
“No! You need to remember us! Remember our song, sister! Remember our song, little star!”
Adagio’s vision blurred and until she was consumed by darkness with Cantana disappearing into the darkness and was overcome with a strong sense of vertigo. It was as if she was falling into the darkness that consumed her.
Moments later Adagio was startled awake as she’d fallen off the bed. She tried to flail and adjust her body to stop herself from falling, despite being in bed and held by Rainbow Dash. After a moment of trying to calm her heart Adagio suddenly realized she was being smothered by Rainbow who was smothering Adagio against her chest. In the time when she awoke from her sleep Adagio had become Rainbows unwitty pillow.
The young woman moaned and smiled as she continued to hug Adagio’s head in her arms. She was still asleep and mumbling her name completely unaware of Adagio’s distress. Finally after a great struggle Adagio managed to free herself from Rainbow’s grasp who lazily turned over and continued to sleep undisturbed. Adagio gasped for breath, her lungs filling with the life giving air she so desperately desired. Once her heart had relaxed she glared at her sleeping lover and thought very hard about pushing her off the bed. In the end she ended up not doing that and just shook her head and rolled onto her back careful to put a large body pillow between them.
As she lay there her thoughts went back to her dream she had. It was beginning to fade as quickly as it came, but she did remember the name Cantana Pulse. Other than that it was gone. The fleeting dream and she couldn’t remember what had happened. It seemed so real to her that she was sure it had happened in real life. Putting this aside she forced herself back to sleep still feeling slightly sore from her fight with Aria. She went to sleep with a smile on her face knowing at the very least Rainbow as there to protect her and it made her feel at ease knowing she’d always be there for her.
No matter what.
*Somewhere in Canterlot City a woman with two large curled ram horn on the sides of her head was sitting at a bar. She was well dressed in a long golden dress that was strapless and hung snug over her large breast. Her hair was long golden and orange that completely covered her back, a black choker was around her neck with a glowing red gem. She drank a cup of fire brandy alone when a figured entered the bar and stomped its way over to her and took a seat right beside her.
“Scotch,” The figured said.
The barkeep served the patron her drink and afterwards went to tend to his other customers, and thus leaving the two women alone. The second woman nursed her drink while the other smirked at her sipping her own drink, as she shifted her legs under the stool.
“So? Where were you Cantana?” She asked the woman.
Cantana snarled rolling up her sleeves and gulping down her drink on one go. She slammed the glass down firmly making the other patrons look at them. They looked at the two as if expecting a fight to break out with two of=r three getting up to leave after paying.
“I saw her today and the old man today Forte,” Cantana snarled almost throwing her glass across the room only to stop at the last second. “She was cursed. I broke the first seal but I didn’t have time to break the other four. She doesn’t remember us.”
Cortana's voice suddenly went very soft and she adopted a sad almost melancholic look. A look that showed great distress and sadness. The woman next to her, Forte, was looking at Canata with concern in her eyes.
“You’ve been obsessed with finding her since we got here. Now, we found other sirens and you want to screw everything up by keeping this a secret from me?” Forte asked baring her fangs.
Cantana returned with a snarl of her own. The two glaring each other down like to apex predators ready to fight at a moments notice. Then as quickly as it started Cantona signed, relenting to fight any further.
“I don’t want to fight you, sis. I just want my little star back. She means the world to us,” Cantana said turning her glass.
Forte glanced at her own glass before taking a long sip. Once she had her fill she set the empty glass down and left it alone giving her full attention to Cantana.
“Listen to me Cantana, what you did was dangerous,” Forte said harshly. “You could have killed her and blown our chances of conquering this world.”
“Don't worry she’s fine. So is your plan for that matter,” Cantana said bitterly.
“Oh? You don’t agree with my plan anymore?” Forte asked.
Cantana chuckled twirling her glass in her hand. She stared at it for a minute before setting it back down and glaring back at her sister once more before getting up and leaving a fifty bill on the table.
“I’m just tired Forte. I want this to end. I’m tired of all the fighting and all the killing. I just want to live the rest of my life in peace. I’ll go through with your plan, but after that we go our separate ways,” Cantana said.
With her piece said she turned and walked out leaving Forte to her whims. The woman turned looking back at her own glass. She was angry at Cantana’s outburst but soon dawned a smile.
“Then I guess I best find a replacement soon,” She said pulling out her phone and making a call.
The phone rang for a good minute before someone answer her call. She smiled hearing the voice of the receiver to her call.
“Ah, yes Kyle! How long has it been darling?” She said greeting the other person. “Yes, I’m doing just fine. . . Listen I need something from you. I need you to keep an eye on someone for me. Mmhmm. Yes, please do. Let me know if her condition worsens. . . Yes, until then darling.”
Ending the call Forte put her phone back in a small purse she had over her shoulder and paid for her drink. After leaving a sizable tip she put on a large golden coat and strut out of the bar feeling her future was going to be bright while humming to herself along the way under the star lit night.
“Twinkle twinkle little star…”

So ends the second to last story in the Legend of the Sirens Series. Sorry for the lack of quality content everyone. Life has been rough since I last started and I had to make few adjustments before forcing myself to finish this one. Somewhere along the way I lost motivation and decided to wait until I got my mojo back as it were. Now I'm back and ready to finish what I started.
