Chimera's Dream
New Beginnings
Load Full Story“Ahh.” Clock moaned in ecstasy while drinking tea. “So, why are we still talking about that episode? It’s so old.”
“Because,” Said Jackie. “We need to rewatch it so we actually know what happened, rather than going off our memories.” I nodded in agreement.
It always worked like that. Clock would say or ask something, Jackie would respond, and then I would agree or correct, or at least, some kind of stupid routine like that.
“So then why do we need to watch the episode again?” Clock said into his mug.
“I just told you, We need to rewatch it so we actually know what happened, rather than going off our memories.” Jackie replied, becoming more irritated.
“Oh well-”
“Clock, just roll with it, we don't have much time for this. Remember, we have to go soon” I interrupted..
“Yeah, you’re right. Where are we going again?” Clock asked in thoughtlessly.
“You don’t remember? Dammit Clock!” Scolded Jackie. She always was the least level-headed of all of us.
“We are going to the store before it closes to buy snacks so we can binge-watch My Little Pony from season 1” I stated. Yet for some reason, i had a weird feeling, almost like something was warning me, but i shrugged it off.
“Anyone else get a weird vibe just now?” Asked Jackie. Clock and i both raised our hands. “Weird”
We got up and walked out of the cafe, feeling no better than before, but that didn't stop us from binge watching a whole season of my little pony. We went to the closest store-of course it had to be a Walmart. The Walmart here was weird. People would take stuff off the shelf and put it on another one as a prank. So you never knew where the stuff you wanted was.
“Should we get M&M’s?” Clock asked semi-excitedly.
“Only if it’s within our budget.” Jackie was still semi-pissed off at Clock.
As we leave Walmart, bags in tow, we head for my car. About halfway to the car is when it happened. About 10 feet in front of us, a swirling vortex opened, and Jackie and i stopped in front of it. Unfortunately, Clock wasn’t paying attention, and walked into us, causing us to fall into the vortex.
As we fell, we noticed that all around us it was dark, yet we could still see each other. Although we weren't being harmed, Clock and Jackie were screaming, oddly enough, Clock was screaming the loudest.
After what i can only assume was an hour, we finally saw some light below us. “Hey! Look down, i see some light.” I yelled. Both of them looked down, and looked slightly worried. “Everyone, stay calm.” They calmed down slightly.
We drew closer and closer to the light, it grew brighter by the second. Finally, it was so bright, we had to close our eyes. A few moments later, i felt a weird sensation, almost like someone was contorting my body, shaping it.
A couple minutes passed, and i opened my eyes to see we were in a run down castle. It Look familiar, but I couldn't tell at the moment. I was unsure as to where we were. I look over, and see a semi-large dragon. “... Huh. Ok then.” I look around for a rock, find one, and try to grab it. As i reach for it i see i have a paw. “Am i a wolf? Cool.” I attempt to pick up the rock, and surprisingly, i can. I throw the rock as hard as i can at the dragon, waking it up. “Hey! Who are you, and where am i?” I said.
“Hmm… A talking wolf, how peculiar. My name is Clock, what’s your name?” Bellowed the dragon.
“Odd, i have a friend named Clock. My name is....”
I should probably introduce myself, shouldn’t i? My name is, or i guess now, was, Matt. I was about 6 feet tall, and i am a brony.
“My name is Matt, but you can call me Shadow.” I said. The dragon gave me with a weird and confused look. He tried standing up, then looked at himself.
“HOLY SHIT I’M A DRAGON!” Shouted the dragon. After a minute, the dragon calmed down. “So, Matt, it’s me, Clock. I think we got transformed or something. Wait, where’s Jackie?” Asked Clock.
“I don’t know, hold on.” I said. “Jackie! Where are you?” I yelled. I heard a groan somewhere to my left, so i stood up, and somehow i knew how to walk on four legs already. I followed the groan, where i found what i can only assume was Jackie.
She was a unicorn, with a long black mane and tail, white fur, and had a… cutie mark of a knife. I sighed. “I know where we are, we are in Equestria.” I stated. I walked over and helped her up, while getting her up to speed.
“So now what?” Asked Clock. Jackie shrugged while i thought of a plan.
“Well, i know Clock liked dragons, i liked wolves, and Jackie likes ponies, so i guess we are our OC’s. Damn we are nerds” I laughed along with my friends. “But i guess since we are here, and judging by Jackie’s cutie mark, i guess we should be evil. I like this though.” Everyone nodded in agreement. “So, it’s decided. We’re evil.”
“Hey, is anyone else tired?” Clock asked, and immediately after, fell asleep.
“Well, I guess we're all tir-” Jackie started to mumble, eyes slowly drifting shut.
“Jackie, we don't have time for a nap, we have to figure out what we're going to do as the evil ones!” I said as I walked up to Clock, proceeding to slap Clock in his sleeping dragon face. “Hey dragon tales. Wake up!”
“Ahh! What the hell was that for!” Clock said as he jolted up from being slapped. “Did anyone else see a portal open and a small creature fall out?” Clock asked.
“No, why?” I was concerned.
“I. . . I don't know. I just saw it. It looked like a bunny.” Clock said. Almost immediately after, a portal appeared in the sky to our right. A small white rabbit fell out, i rushed over, but i knew it wouldn’t be fast enough. Yet somehow, i made it seconds before the bunny landed, and caught it on my back.
I looked back to my friends, only to see a shocked expression on both of their faces. “What?” I asked, setting down the rabbit.
“You… teleported!” Exclaimed Jackie. I however, didn’t believe her.
The rabbit tried to stand up, but I lightly pushed it back down. “Relax, just rest.” I said.
“I guess we’re all… FALLING… for Equestria already!” Stated Clock, in a pitiful attempt at a joke. I looked to Jackie, who was slowly walking towards Clock. I walked to her, and put a paw in front of her, shaking my head. She sighed.
The rabbit tried to stand up again. I leaned down. “Just rest for now, I’ll explain everything when you get your strength back.” I whispered. The rabbit looked up at me, then passed out.
