Star Spade, a pegasus who's feeling a little depressed after hearing about her brother's death, works as a card dealer in her family's casino in Las Pegasus. One day, while walking home after another long day of work, she suddenly blacks out. When she finally comes to, she finds herself trapped in a building she's never been in nor seen before. As Star explores her newfound prison, she comes across fifteen other ponies who seem to be just as confused about their current situation as she is. After they all finally meet each other, a pony named Monoruto appears before them. He explains that the sixteen of them have all been imprisoned in this building for all eternity. If they want to get out, they must commit the perfect murder. He departs, leaving only those words and several questions lingering in the air: Where are they? Who is this Monoruto? Who has imprisoned them here? Why have they been imprisoned? Why do they have to kill each other to get out? Can these sixteen ponies find all the answers without bloodshed, or will their hope be consumed by the despair that imprisons them?

This is a crossover fan-fiction between the murder mystery visual novel, Danganronpa, and the TV series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
