Chapter 1: Just a Compact Disc!
20:00 Night time.
Meanwhile, somewhere inside the Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia sits down watching the sun fall down to let the moon rise. As soon as the sun fell down, Princess Luna rose the moon and asked her sister.
"Sister, Is there something bothering you?" Asked by the Princess of the night while looking at her sister. "Oh, I was just lost in my thoughts, I guess I’m just tired after everything that happened since the changeling attack" Answered by the Princess of the sun.
A small silence took over, but then Princess Luna broke it.
"Well then sister, I guess it's time for you to take a rest, and by that I mean Sleep!" Princess Luna Suggested. "A Princess never sleeps on her duties little sister, but I promise to rest." Princess Celestia Answered back with a Smirk on her face, and trotted to her bedroom.
"Heh! I can finally play!" Princess Luna whispered to herself while looking at her sister trotting to her bedroom. But before Luna can open the door to her bedroom, someone knocked on the front door of the castle. "Sister, Mind if you take the visitor were having? Thanks!" Celestia Grinned, while closing the door of her bedroom.
"Oh, Come on!" She said angrily, 'Who could be visiting us this late?' She thought. Luna opened the door with her magic and found twilight carrying something in a bag with her mouth. "Twilight? What brings you here? It's a bit late you know." Questioned by Luna. Twilight gently dropped the bag on the floor and answered.
"Oh it's just 8 in the evening, but I came here just to ask you about something, which is one of your favorites." Twilight took out the item that's inside the bag, Luna had her eyes wide on what Twilight just took out.
"I found this 'Game' in my bookshelf, I guess spike was playing it and about to question him why it was there, but he was sleeping. Can you tell me what kind of game this is?" Twilight Explained. Luna Nodded slowly and grabbed the CD cover, the title was named 'Team Fortress 2'.
"I have never seen this game at all. Don't mind if I borrow it till tomorrow? Y'know… for some 'Investigation'" Luna chuckled Eyes glued to the CD. Twilight agreed.
"But make it quick, Spike might spend his whole life to find that game of his." Twilight Chuckled so did Luna. Twilight Flew off and gave Luna a farewell. Luna did the same and closed the front doors. As soon as Luna went to her bedroom which is full of video games, she hopped on her sofa and took another look of the video game CD. Just as soon as Luna inserted the CD She took her headphones and took time to browse the game manual.
"This is interesting." Luna said while she browse the game manual and waiting for the game to load. As soon as the game loaded Luna threw the game manual like a crumpled paper. It took some time for Luna to fill out (Register) As soon as she finished she quickly played.
"Now let’s see, the game manual said there are 9 Classes, The scout, heavy, spy, Blah Blah Blah" Getting impatient, Luna Button smashed and picked the scout instead.
"Yes, No wait! Go Left! Right! No you noob!" Luna shouted the words on a high pitch. She was enjoying the game, but she hates it when she loses. She spent hours playing this game without breaks, Eyes glued on the Screen and a never ending click of the buttons.
6:00 Morning.
"Twilight!" Spike shouted. The lavender colored unicorn fell from her bed from that shout, and quickly trotted to their library seeing Spike looking for something. "Twilight, have you seen My CD game?" Spike Asked While he's sweating a lot. "Oh that Game, I made Princess Luna borrow it so that I could know what it was." Twilight Answered.
"Princess Luna!" Spike was shocked and answered back "You know she has a knack for playing games! She'll never bring that back!" Spike startled. "Oh and You could've Asked me instead on what the game is" Spike face palmed. "But you were sleeping yesterday, i don't want to wake you up just for a silly game" Twilight answered back.
"Then, i don't know Open the Case and read the manual like what you always do?" Spike deadpanned. "Calm down spike, I bet she's not going to be 'Addicted' to the game though right?" Twilight put a hoof on spike's head. Spike face palmed himself again.
"Well, I’m going to go to Canterlot all by myself and retrieve that CD again Once and for all!" Spike groaned. Twilight had to stop him for a while, and she was able to plan something. "Spike, before you go to canterlot 'Yourself' Fluttershy asked me if she can borrow you to help her with the animals." Twilight lied. Spike gave Twilight his grumpy look and agreed.
"Fine, but I'm still going to get that CD no matter what!" Spike left and headed to Fluttershy's cottage. Twilight looked at spike if he's going to the right direction or not, as soon as he's halfway to the cottage Twilight quickly Teleported to canterlot and knocked on the front doors of the castle. "Princess Luna! Princess Luna!" As soon as the door opened she found Princess Celestia instead.
"Oh! Princess Celestia, Have you seen Princess Luna?" Twilight Asked. "My sister has been busy playing games, she even forgot to bring the moon down a while ago. But what is it you need of her?" Giving Twilight a stare.
"Oh, uh I visited here yesterday and showed Princess Luna a game which Spike plays. I asked her if she can check it out." Twilight answered with a 'side dish' of a Nervous chuckle.
"Come with me twilight, let’s talk to my sister about this." Celestia offered, Twilight accepted and went inside with Celestia towards Luna's Bedroom.
"Fluttershy? Are you there?" Spike was knocking fast as if he was impatient. After a minute or two the door finally opened a bit and a butter coated Pegasus popped her head on the slight opening of the door. "Uhm, who’s there?" Fluttershy asked. Looking left and right she found Spike in front of her.
"S-Spike? Can i help you?" Fluttershy opened the door widely and tilted her head. "Wait what do you mean? I thought you asked Twilight that you needed my help with your animal friends?" Spike asked. Fluttershy shook her head.
"I never asked Twilight anything yet, I'm sorry" Fluttershy patted spike's head. Spike stared and deadpanned. "Sorry for bothering you Fluttershy, but i need to catch someone." Fluttershy Nodded and closed the door gently.
'That Twilight fooled me! I knew she was stalling me so that she can retrieve that CD by herself. Heh, I’m glad she gets it but what if she hides it? If she does she's goin-'
Spike's thoughts was interrupted by a Cyan Pegasus that just crashed landed on him. Both of the two were in pain but they both recovered instantly.
"Argh, so close!" The cyan Pegasus said while patting her head with her own hoof. "Who in the hay- Rainbow dash? What were you doing?" Spike got up and helped Rainbow dash.
"Sorry spike, I was testing my new stunt move but then Derpy 'Accidentally' Kicked a lightning cloud so I tried to dodge the lightning and got myself off balance, and that's when I crashed into you." Rainbow Dash Explained. And Derpy landed on Rainbow dashes side.
"Sorry!" Derpy Patted Rainbow dash's head. Rainbow dash gave her a Deadpan. "Ugh, I’ll just heading back to the castle Goodbye!" Spike Ran off. "What is it with him" Rainbow dash asked, Derpy shrugged.
For about some time Spike returned to the castle and opened the doors quietly and went inside. 'Hm, Twilight's still not here. What's taking so long if she's just going to get the CD back? Mrgh. Starting to get impatient now! i want to play my game!' Spike thought, heading to his bed. 'Wow all this just for a freaking Compact Disc! Mrgh. I think I’ll sleep for a while or-' His thoughts were interrupted by a noise. He looked left and right to find out what was making the growling noises and found nothing. His belly growled once more.
"And now I’m hungry, great. Just great." Spike hopped off his bed and thought of going to sugarcube corner.
"Princess Luna Please, I need the CD back." Twilight pleaded. "Oh what's so important with this CD anyways? It’s just a game!" Luna answered back with a smirk on her face. "Spike needed it, I don't know why, but maybe he wants to play it." Twilight tried to grab the CD but Luna flew to the opposite side of where she's looking.
"Listen, you asked me what this is. I also wondered why you have not tried looking at the game manual, believe me it has all the information you needed." Luna Grinned, Twilight Nervously chuckled on her statement due to embarrassment but Spike and Luna did make a point. "I'll give it to you on one condition" Luna Offered. "What is it?" Twilight asked,
"All i want is you and your friends along with spike to come here and we'll play this game altogether." Luna grinned. "Deal, but when?" Twilight tilted her head. "Maybe tomorrow. Just make sure that all of you are ready on what's going to happen." Luna Smirked. By that statement Twilight made her confused but nodded instead.
"Well, if that is all you need then I accept it" Twilight answered while she grabbed the CD. "Excellent!" Luna grinned once again, Twilight can't do anything but to Grin back, and so Twilight left and flew back to Ponyville.
"I see you gave her what she needed?" Princess celestia asked as she flew beside luna. "Yes sister, and I have a plan cooking in my brain when they come back." Luna took her tongue out and gave celestia a 'Pfft' "I suppose that plan is just like last time you did to the both of us? I hope that's not the one." Celestia placed her hoof on luna's shoulder. Luna Smirked. "Whatever it is, it’s way better" Luna did an Oh-So-Evil-Laugh, but Celestia didn't mind. "Get some rest Luna, you have been playing for the whole night." Luna gave Celestia another 'Pfft'.
Spike enters the Sugarcube corner slowly and found Pinkie pie baking cupcakes.
"Oh hey Pinkie, Got anything to eat?" Spike asked, but as soon as he asked, Pinkie pie jumped and screamed "Who was that!?"
"It's just me pinkie, nonetheless." Spike smirked. "Oh! Hiya Spike so What'ya want huh? What'ya want What'ya want What'ya want?" Pinkie pie giggled.
"Do you have some sort of, I don't know... Crystal topped cupcakes?" Spike wondered. "Oh we don't have any of those" Pinkie pie's ears drooped, "Buuuuut! Your lucky rarity gave me crystals earlier! And I was just cooking cupcakes! I'll whip up one just for yah!" Pinkie pie gave her largest grin.
"Rarity was just here? What for?" Spike asked. Pinkie pie was busy taking the crystals and taking off the cupcakes out of the oven, but she answered. "Oh yesss! She was just here to give me these crystal bling’s because she might have had bought a lot just for one special, shiny, and totally awesome dress!" Pinkie pie placed the Crystal bits on top of the cupcake and gave it to spike. "Order up!" Pinkie pie shouted.
Applejack, Rainbow dash, and Derpy went inside the sugarcube corner. "Ah' Hey'all Pinkie and Spike." Applejack Greeted. "Hi Hi Hi Hi Hi! AJ, Dashie, and Derpy! what ya'll want?" Pinkie pie greeted back. "Hey what's with Lil' Spike over there." Applejack asked.
"He's busy eating his own cupcake, i hope you Three need em' too!" Pinkie pie Answered.
"I totally need a cupcake! Like right now!" Rainbow dash Grinned. "Maybe I’ll just have a muffin." Derpy Grinned too. "Ah' Need one too, and Ah'll share mah Apple pie as well as the cider ah' brought!" Applejack Agreed while dropping the Apple pie and the cider on the table, while Rainbow dash and derpy sat on one of the tables.
"Ah' spike ya'll right?" Applejack sat by the side of spike and placed her hoof on spike's shoulder. "Oh I’m just waiting for Twilight to come back with my CD of my favorite game. She's taking long and I’m getting impatient." Spike sighed.
"Ah' is that why the end of your lips are pointing down?" Pinkie pie butted in while she makes the cupcakes and muffins. "haha, I guess that's the problem." Spike laughed.
"Well, ah' sure do know that twi will have that, whatever tha' was you said." Applejack then grabbed a mug of cider and drank.
"A CD, or Compact Disc. Its small plastic disc on which music or other digital information is stored, and from which the information can be read using reflected laser light." Spike explained the term of CD. Applejack and Pinkie pie switched glances and stared at spike while giving him a long 'Oh'. "Wait what, was it again?" Applejack asked, before spike could answer it again, someone came in.
"Hello my friends!" A White unicorn with a purple mane entered. "What a wonderful day were having!”
"Howdy do rarity, How ah' yah?" Applejack asked the White unicorn. "Ohoho, I'm fine darling. And spike! How’s my cute little dragon!" Rarity squeezed Spike's cheek but not noticing that spike blushed abit. "I... uhh I'm fine rarity... Just eating my Cupcake Ahehe...” Spike nervously answered.
"Rarity! How's your super-duper awesome Dress you're making?" was asked by the hyperactive pinkie jumping up and down while whipping up the Cupcakes and muffins. "Oh, I am quite unfinished yet. I was just out with fluttershy in the spa, I thought she'd be here by now, have you seen her?"
Pinkie pie, Applejack, and spike shook her heads. "I think she went back home and took care for the -" Spike was interrupted when rainbow dash flew by his side and asked, "Yo! Pinkie pie! How’s the cupcakes goin'?"
"Be patient dashie! It’s almost ready!" Pinkie pie giggled. Rarity looked at rainbow dash. "Rainbow dash dear, have you seen fluttershy?” Spike butted in. "I told you she might be back in her cottage taking ca-" Spike was once again Interrupted by rainbow dash.
"Sadly i haven't seen fluttershy for a while, Guess she's back on her cottage taking care for the animals? I'm not so sure." after Rainbow Dash's Statement Spike then facepalmed. "That's what i said!" Rainbow dash smirked then took a mug and then asked Applejack to have some cider. About a 10 minute chat with each other, Derpy suddenly saw someone trotting to sugarcube corner.
"Ey, I think I’ve found your fluttershy." Derpy announced, "Huh? Are you sure darling?" Rarity asked. "I'm a hundred percent sure!" Derpy Grinned. Suddenly, a butter coated pegasus popped in. "I told ya!" Derpy shouted.
Fluttershy gave a small 'Eep' that time derpy shouted. "Oh sorry!" Derpy smiled. "No worries, so what did I miss...?" Fluttershy slowly crept at the table where derpy is at. "Nothing much darling, I was just going to ask if you can take care of Opal for me for a while." Rarity asked as soon as she trotted by the side of Fluttershy, Applejack and rainbow dash chatted and waited for Pinkie pie's Cupcakes and muffins.
"Sure rarity, but May I ask... Why?" Fluttershy tilted her head a bit. "Well you see darling, Opal sort of Scratch some dresses whenever i make them, and this dress I’m making now is a bit of... important." Rarity explained.
"Cupcakes and muffins are ready!" Pinkie pie announced. "Finally something to eat!" Applejack and Rainbow dash licked their lips, eyes glued at the tasty treats on the tray. "Well, are ya'll gonna come and eat with us? Ah' got apple pie and some sider too!" Applejack grinned.
"We'll be right there! Come now Fluttershy and derpy. We don't want the food to wait right?" The White unicorn asked. Both pegasus switched glances and agreed. The three of them joined their friends and ate.
"Spike I’m back with your Game!" Twilight announced, but she didn't hear anyone except for her own breathing.
"Wow pretty Silent in here, i wonder where'd that dragon went." As twilight trotted through the 'Empty' Hallways, she went to her bedroom to check if Spike is there but found nothing.
She then went to the library, Still has no sign of spike. "Spike? Yoo-Hoo!?" Twilight gave up after a two minutes of finding spike in the castle, that's when she realized. 'I'm guessing Spike went somewhere, Of course i bet he went to the sugarcube corner. He didn't take breakfast! I also hope that my friends are there so i can save time to tell them that we needed to go and meet Princess Luna.' Twilight thought. She trotted out and flew to Sugarcube corner.
