The Mare Who Thought She Was Alone
Dollie was upstairs looking out her window at the butterflies flying around. Dollie envied their freedom. They looked so happy, making her wish she was a butterfly, so maybe she wouldn't be confined or be so lonely.
The she turned bad and approached to her bed, sitting on it to read a book thinking she could get her mind off of things. Luckily her dad let her have books. Nothing with gore though. She wished she could do something other than reading, but she knew her dad wouldn't allow it.
Maybe she could check on her sisters? Wait, they went out for the day. Dollie was a little bummed, but it's not like they would want to spend time with her anyways.
She could always draw, so she turned to her nightstand and grabbed a sketch book which there she could draw all the things she wanted to. But as she kept drawing, she realized that she ran out of paper and it made her sigh.
"Could I not do anything in my room?" she thought to herself a bit annoyed.
She had a phone, but it had no internet because her dad won't let her use it for social things.
Fortunately, games worked for now. She grabbed her phone and started to play a few skill games for a while. But as she kept playing it again and again, later on got bored and put her phone away.
As soon she started to yawn tiredly. She rarely sleeps at night and wished she could sleep for a bit. 'Maybe just one moment' she lied on the bed as she thought to herself and closed her eyes for a few moments. But then she shot open them and sat up 'No dad will have my head... but I'm so... sleepy...' She couldn't stay up any longer and fell asleep in a matter of 5 seconds.
After a few hours Dollie groaned and lazily woke up, finding herself outside in her back yard. She began to panic 'Oh no... I fell asleep' she thought to herself as the panic rose.
"What did tell you about falling asleep?!" a male voice was heard. Dollie froze and slowly looked up. It was her father.
"I-I'm sorry f-father... I was foolish." Dollie stuttered in fear.
"Yeah, you are foolish. Now you have to pay the price." He said venomously.
"Father... please... I'm sorry!" Dollie cried.
"I don't want to hear no excuses, now shut up and this will be over quicker."
She just nodded slowly as tears streaked down her face.
She timidly watched as her dad magically appeared a gasoline bucket. She shivered as he dumped the gasoline on her back. He threw the bucket to the side and magically started a fire on her back.
Dollie started to scream in pain as the fire went down her back and on her wings. This wasn't new for her at all but she feels like it was. It hurt worse every time.
After about a minute, Ryan put out her fire. He then threw her to the wall and kicked her in the gut making her cough up blood.
"W-why do you hate me... W-what have I done?" Dollie stuttered while sobbing silently.
"I hate you because you exist, you psychotic monster. Your kind should be eliminated." Ryan spat and went inside, leaving Dollie alone to cry.
Dollie hated herself, her life, and her element. If everyone knew her they would be terrified. Even the princesses themselves wouldn't want to go near her.
After a while, Dollie trudged up to her room, barely being able to walk up the steps.
Once she got to her room, she locked the door and sat at on her bed so she could bandage herself. Her cost stung when she applied the bandages but the pain left as quickly as it came.
Dollie went to sit at the window again, looked out at the sunset and looked at how it hit the trees and how it reminded her of a perfect painting.
She thought of her father and her oblivious sisters, and that made her sigh. She really wished her sisters cared and wished her father loved her, but sadly she knew he would never ever love her.
Dollie looked at the birds outside on the tree closer to her window. She watched the mommy and daddy bird cuddling up with their children and how the kids seemed so content.
She just felt so alone and unloved. She wished she was that baby bird cuddling with her mom.
A tearpslowly fell down her cheek as she said "Isn't there somepony out there who truly cares for me...?"

Dollie went to bed a little early last night. Too much happened and she just felt overwhelmed.
The morning light seeped through her curtains and lit up the room a bit. The light fell on her face making her groan a bit then toss and turn in discomfort.
Dollie eventually woke up because the light kept bothering her eyes. Giving a big yawn, she stretched out her wings. She winced in pain and slowly retracted her wings, realizing how sore she was. Also the burning sensation was still there. It never seemed to go away for a long while, and the bandages on her burns and cuts weren't really helping.
She carefully got out of bed and started to change the bandages, putting fresh ones on. She winced at the burning sensation but she could handle it. She put the bandage kit back under her bed, so then she carefully and quietly walked out of her room making sure no one heard her.
She heard her sisters laughing and talking to each other in Cynder's room. They seemed to be having so much fun.
That made her sigh. She desperately wished that her sisters would spend time with her, but she knew they wouldn't, their father has taught them terrible things about her element. They're too far gone at this point. Aren't they?
She looked at the cutie mark on her flank and grimaced. It was a black skeleton who looked like it was laughing with blue blood coming out of it's eye, sockets and mouth.
She hated her cutie mark with a passion as to her it was a curse. If she had a different element maybe she would've been noticed and not ignored, or cared for and not abused. And probably her Mom would still be there for her.
Dollie lowered her head and quietly walked downstairs. She scanned the house for her dad but he wasn't home. A smile quickly appeared on her face. Her dad must have went off to his job early, meaning she could most likely sneak out for a few hours.
After Dollie double checked the house, she quietly opened the door, closed it even quieter and snuck off.
Dollie was sitting on a tree that was not so far from the house, but it was a good distance away. She watched as the animals and birds would play without a care in the world.
She would smile as she saw the birds fly free and the deer frolic in the grass and flowers. She could see so much from up there and she really liked the view.
"Hey, what are you doing up there?" a male voice was heard
That made her yelp in surprise and lost her balance on the branch making her fall. She closed her eyes preparing for the impact, but what made her be confused is that she fell on something soft. She opened her eyes a looked around. She noticed that she was on a back of somepony, so she slowly turned her sight to one side and saw the head of the body. It was a stallion.
"Phew, that was close... Sorry for scaring you." he said sheepishly.
"I-It's alright..." Dollie said quietly. She took in his features. He was a tall unicorn who had a light grey coat with a long white mane. He had blue eyes and his cutiemark was a golden balance scale with two swords making an X behind it, the element of sanity, her opposite.
The stallion let Dollie down and took a look at her as well. Her eyes stood out to him as they were a bold purple. 'Wow. Her eyes are so beautiful' he thought to himself.
"Hey... What's your name?" he asked a bit sheepishly.
"Dollie..." She said quietly.
"Dollie. That's a really cute name." he gave her a smile.
"Thanks..." she said shyly. "And yours?"
"Gianfar. But someponies call me G" he said
"That's a nice name" she smiled sheepishly
"Thank you." he gave her a little smile "Hey... If you don't mind me asking... Why were you up a tree?"
"I like the view of the land and animals. You can see more from up here than down there." she explained
"I should try that sometime." Gianfar said in thought as he looked to the trees.
"Yeah you should. I think you'd like it." Dollie smiled a bit.
Gianfar looked down back to her and smiled. He started looking over her again and this time saw her bandages. Her coat was so white it was nearly impossible to see.
"Why are you wrapped in bandages?" He asked quietly
Dollie looked at herself and mentally facehoofed, forgetting about the bandages. She had to come up with a quick cover up. She didn't want to get into bigger problems with her father.
"Oh... Uhm... I had a flying mishap and crashed into a tree." Dollie said shyly.
Gianfar had a feeling she was lying but decided to let it slide. "You got to be me more careful next time, Dollie." He chuckled a bit.
"Yeah I guess so." Dollie chuckled a bit as well.
"Well I got to go. My Mom wanted me home by lunch. It was nice meeting you" he said as he gave her a warm smile "Hey... Maybe we can see each other again soon?"
"Yeah that would be great." she smiled a bit.
That made him smile and gave her a quick hug. "Alright, see you next time."
Dollie gave him a hug back trying not to tense. She hasn't been hugged for 10 years and it was kind of an alien to her. None the less it would've been a bit rude not to hug back.
"Alright... see you next time as well, I guess." she said feeling sort of awkward.
Gianfar gave her another smile and teleported back to his home. That made her sigh and wondered what the buck just happened. She was wondering why he didn't run away? She knew he saw her element, but she didn't understand why he just stayed with her.
That made her smile with a bit of happiness. She actually met some pony who doesn't care about her element and that made her so happy at the moment that nothing can bring her down. Except when she realized.
"My dad's gonna be home for lunch! I'm so screwed!" she thought to herself as her eyes shot open really scared.
She couldn't really fly because of her wing burns, so she ran as fast as she could to get home on time. Lunch was at 2:30 for her and it was only 2:24. She might be able to make it home before her father does.
As she reached the house, all was quiet. Maybe he wasn't home?
Dollie snuck into the backyard. She couldn't take more than 2 steps before her dad appeared in front of the door. Dollie gasped in horror and surprise.
"So you're sneaking out, huh?" a really familiar voice was heard and made Dollie gasp really scared. "Come here!"
Dollies wings drooped to the floor and she trudged over to her father. "What are you gonna set to flames this time?"
"Your hooves..." her father said glancing at her with so much hate "Stand still."
Dollie knew it was no use to argue so she did as she was told. Her father grabbed the gasoline bucket again and doused her hooves and her back as bonus. He magically set her to flames, making her scream in tormented pain.
Ryan loved it. He enjoyed every second of it. He hated her with all his heart and wanted her dead, but by the time he was able to, Cynder and Melody were older and would realising she gone, so he couldn't.
After a minute he put out the fire that almost engulfed her body. He slapped her and threw her against the house walls. "Next time. Don't leave." he said with a really venomous voice and went inside.
Dollie curled up into a ball, crying in pain and sadness. She hated her father. She wanted her mother, as she knew her mother would make things all better.
After a few minutes, Dollie looked around before inside and upstairs to her room to bandage up again. What Dollie didn't see was that someone was watching her and her father.
The Mare Who Thought She Was Alone
There was a house in the everfree forest. It wasn't small, but it wasn't big either. Everything seemed so peaceful, until you saw what really could went on. But that usually never happens since the ponies there act like a doll in a dollhouse. Everypony thought those ponies set a perfect example in that house, but were they wrong.
There were three sisters in that house. Their names were Cynder, Melody and Dollie.
Cynder had a black mane and purple coat with brown eyes. She was a pegasus and was 21 years old. That meant she was the oldest. She had this moody and vulgar attitude. She could also be very ignorant and mean but deep down, she loved her family deeply and really cares about others.
Then there was Melody. She was a unicorn. Melody had a light brown mane, light green coat and emerald green eyes. She was 19 and the middle child. She had this sweet and caring attitude that you just love about her, but she can be very shy and timid. It's surprising that her and Cynder get along well considering their attitude difference.
Lastly, there was Dollie. She was a pegasus like her older sister Cynder. She was pure white, her coat and mane were white as the snow. Her eyes were what stood out the most besides her snowy white coat and mane. They were as purple as amethyst. She was only 18, therefore being the youngest. She used to be super sweet and very happy, but then she became shy and scared. She wasn't always like that, but something happened to change her. Her father was the cause of it.
Her father, which was named Ryan, who was an orange unicorn with brown hair, was very caring to his daughters. But except for one. Dollie. The day she was born he wanted her dead. Dollie's mother wouldn't have it and kept him from doing Dollie any harm. The father was losing patience with Dollie's mother, so every single opportunity, he would go behind her back and beat Dollie when he wanted to.
Her Mother, named Lyanna, was a white pegasus with brown eyes and was very sweet and gentle, but she could get very angry if you truly piss her off. She always found out one way or another if what Ryan did to Dollie and gave him hell for it. She would always go up to Dollies room and heal her wounds; or if her dad didn't do anything, she would just go up to bond with Dollie and make sure she's safe and happy. At night Lyanna would always tuck Dollie in and sing her a song to put her to sleep.
But one night everything changed.
Dollie was in her room, playing with her stuffed bunny her mom gave her. She heard a scream and a loud bang. It wasn't a bang which could be from a gun, but the one of something hitting against the other.
Dollie panicked and tried to open the door, but her dad had it locked with his magic. She tried and tried but to no avail. She slid to the floor and cried out for her mom. But she knew she wasn't going to see her mom again. That now meant her father can have his way with her.
She kept crying and crying until she put herself to sleep. That's when Dollies life changed for the worst.
