Chapters Author's Note
Yes I get it this, feels a like an inexperienced story because it is. This is the first thing I've written on my own free will (outside of schoolforced writing) this is something I've enjoyed writing up. This whole thing gives me something else to do with my life. :D
Prologue
1000 years seemed to flutter by in Luna's mind 1000 years her mind repeated... 1000 years She felt odd, alone, and yet calm
Luna while wasting away on the moon had gained 'irrational' non-belivers. They called themselves the Order of the Sun.
This cult as it would be called praised Celestia beyond the level of gods and saw her envious younger sister as a demon. They had happily enjoyed Luna's presence not being present. Almost as if it was planned one-hundred years after the initial formation of the cult Luna had made her return.
It would seem that the highest ranking members would have attempted to rid of her already but they had a much grander scheme. It took years of preparation they had to have stallions join the guard and work there way up. After years the cult members had been honored (or in there eyes disgusted) to guard Luna's door for the nightshift. From here there whole plan started to unfold... The 'guards' prepared themselves to kidnap Luna. They ever so slightly opened the door and closed it behind them. the two Pegasus guards spread out to each side of the room one stumbled over a stack of books he hadn't been expecting. Luna Grumbled beginning to wake up.
Begin Chapter 1
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Luna now coming out of her dazed calm felt exhausted. She began to lean her head back up against the wall. She felt a sudden shock of pain course through her body. Now definitely awake she remembered everything - waking up in her room, the dark figure, the flight, the three hoode- . She paused at that thought where had those three gone? Luna sat there in the cold, damp, dark cell for hours maybe even a day she had no way of telling.
Being left in the dark cell all by her lonesome she began to feel delirious. Feeling anxious for a conclusion to her dismal situation she began talking to herself. Playing out all the situations that crossed her mind.
"Luna uh uh- I mean demon spawn stand up." Luna said to herself
"No!"
"You defiant filth! I shall have you executed for this"
"End situation one hundred and twenty-seven heh heh." Luna stated to herself
"Situation number one hundre-" Luna quickly cut herself off.
Finally the sounds of hoofsteps rapidly approaching the door. The door was swung open. The hooded mare that had talked to Luna last night stood there. From what she could see with her eyes more -in tuned to the dark- she had a dark grey muzzle that's about all Luna could see.
"Come forth demon."
Luna now walking slowly towards the mare noticed a small area on her back that felt odd. As she turned she noticed a small spell had been sewn into her fur. Wondering if she wasn't supposed to know about that she quickly turned back to face the cloaked mare. When she did she was quickly blindfolded and pushed along by the mare.
"Is this some sort of joke?" Luna asked both fearfully and curiously.
No response...
After walking for a few minutes Luna was told to stop. There she felt another sharp pain to the back of the head.

Luna awoke this time remembering a whole lot more of what happened to her. She felt a warm substance on the back of her neck. "Is that blood!" she quickly began to pull her hoof up to feel but was stopped by some force. no longer blindfolded she started to lift her head looking down she was tied down to a table rope restraining her fore-legs and
Luna still trying to deny her horrid conundrum yelled "HAH HAH, REALLY FUNNY EVERYPONY PLEASE END THIS SICK JOKE!" she was looking for any way to deny her current situation. She then looked up and saw a very detailed hoof-carved mold of her sisters cutie mark. She new that no pony would take the time to do something as intricate as that for some sick joke.
Trying one more time to break free of her restraints she noticed the rope wasn't budging. feeling the spines on the bottom of the ring at the base of her horn still there she felt a feeling of total horror. This whole setup it was the most terrifying experience she had ever encountered. Hearing a door close nearby behind her. She began to plead.
"Please let me go! I don't know what I've ever done to harm you ponies but I can assure you it wont happen again!" Tears of despair began feeling Luna's eyes.
As she saw where the noise had come from she saw two hooded figures approaching with them a cart full of sharp objects. At the sight Luna began shaking trying to break free from her restraints. While Luna in a state of full on panic a voice simply stated.
"Save your energy demon. the ropes you are restrained by are magically reinforced no amount of physical tension can break them." A smug laughter came from the mare
At this Luna responded "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I don't know what I ever did to wrong you but please let me go! I don't care what it takes I'll do anything to make amends just please don't hurt me"
At this one of the hooded figures simply reached out untied one of Luna's wing restraints took a pickaxe (ya know abandoned mine) and slammed it down directly through Luna's wing. The wing being a very sensitive limb Luna screamed in pain. Blood leaking out of the thin muscles in her wing Luna began hyperventilating. Tears flooding from her eyes. she screamed "WHYYYYYY!" Luna panicked again. Thrashing wildly on the table she hurt her lower spine. Now with her lower back injured she could no longer bare the pain of thrashing about.
One of the hooded figures chuckled and quietly stated "And so it begins"

End chapter 2
Author's Note
Yes this story is centered around torture (e.g. the title "A Torturous Night")
Luna laid there restrained by the table in shock of what was happening to her. Soon after her wing had been impaled she was hit in the chest by one of the mares. The pungent taste of blood filled Luna's mouth. Now coughing up blood and gasping for air in between coughs Luna started looking for anyway to get out of this mess from the corner of her eye she saw the two mares going through the box of torture equipment.
As a simple pair of pliers were brought out from the box they were firmly clasped around Luna's ear and they slowly began to pull feeling the flesh on the side of her head being pulled away Luna screamed in sheer agony. The force did not stop as Luna's inner ear was filling with blood the pulling did not stop. A small strand of skin and fur were brought along with the now torn ear.
After Luna's ear had been torn away from her the two mares left and left Luna there to bleed. The feeling of dried blood on the back of her neck and newer warm blood leaking from the side of her head she began to fell incredibly fatigued from blood loss. Her fatigue was torn from her when she heard the door behind her open and close again. she saw the two figures approaching again. One was carrying with them a vial of something the other carrying a large sledgehammer.
The one figure with the vial popped the cork off the top sniffed the concoction in her hoofs.
"This should give you a feeling of the suns true power"
She doused the liquid all over Luna's body. At first the liquid seemed to do nothing except provide minor discomfort for Luna. But as soon as Luna was starting to wonder if she had been doused with water the liquid quickly reacted to Luna's nerves giving her the sensation of being on fire. She wailed and cursed. And the two figures just sat and watched in amusement.
The feeling of burning continued for Luna but as for the two figures they became bored of there torture victims wails. One of them grabbed the sledge hammer and walked over to the wailing Luna and Slammed at down on her back left hoof. She repeated the process to her back right hoof as well. Luna screamed in dismay to the point that her throat was bleeding her screams became faded and raspy clearly showing what she was doing to her vocal chords.
After she had crushed Luna's back hoofs the figure again raised the sledgehammer and slammed it down on Luna's chest shattering her ribcage. As Luna began to lose the consciousness of life the two mares began to speak in tongues and as they finished their spell one mare said "We won't let you leave that easily."

Luna suddenly woke up from a horrendous nightmare she was hyperventilating. trying to recollect her thoughts until she suddenly felt a blunt force blindside her...
Luna awoke again feeling an ache on the back of her head. still regaining consciousness she started to come to terms with what was happening. She gasped as she started to really come back to the world feeling the cold night air against her fur. She was thinking trying to remember what was happening.
It all came back to her, her rough flight through the cold night, the isolation in the small dimly lit cave, and the- Luna was now in full panic realizing what harm and pain was rapidly approaching her she began to scream and flail. Giving the two pegasi flying her quite a shock.
"Calm down you wretch!" yelled the grey pegasus
"LET ME GO!" yelled Luna as she continued to flail about screaming and hyperventilating."I WONT LET YOU TAKE ME I'LL HAVE YOU KILLED!" she was starting to put strain on the ropes that bound her. The two pegasi just stopped and looked down at the the panicked alicorn bound in ropes. The younger pegasi began to snicker. He never expected to see one that was considered royalty by the rest of Equestria screaming and shaking about like a filly throwing a tantrum.
His superior though was not amused he screamed back to her to calm down and stop straining her bounds.
"LET ME GO AT ONCE MORTAL I WILL HAVE YOU PUBLICLY EXECUTED FOR YOUR DEEDS" Luna boomed in the royal voice
"tough luck." he said to the bound mare as he shook her binds. to this Luna tried once more to shake free of her binds. But she was soon reduced to a bawling screaming alicorn with no power
"Please let me go! I'll do anything. all the money you could want, a house almost as grand as the canterlot castle, diplomatic immunity, uh... I- ah sex! anything! just please let me go!"
At this the younger stallion was in tears laughing at the depleted mare
"Ah you wan to be "let you go." I will grant you your wish" he said as he let go of her binds. The younger stallion stopped his laughing and did the same.
Luna gasped as she realized what was happening she was about 250 meters(800 ft) off the ground. As she rapidly fell to her doom she began to scream and cry for help. Falling... feeling the cold air press tightly against her dark coat she had stopped screaming as she had scream so much she had cut her vocal cords.If she tried to the only noise that came out was the sound of hissing air. All Luna could do was await fate and cry and cry she did. falling faster than her tears the water that left her eyes she left falling through the air tiny little droplets of water this and the starry night sky that she had painted for everypony to enjoy were the last things she saw before hitting the ground.
The initial impact from hitting the rough dirt did not kill her it had only severed her lower spinal column she could no longer feel her hind legs. There went her one chance for escape she realized no matter what she was dead nopony would come this deep into the forest she was going to die from starvation what a pathetic way to die. Was she to die from starvation or perhaps another crueler fate awaited her. Luna was in complete hell upon her bodily pain the fact that she was bound and her spine broken she was forced to stay pressuring her severed back. Luna slowly drifted off to sleep.

It was not much later that Luna awoke to a strange noise. she tried to sit up and look around but alas with her bounds still wrapped firmly round her wings, her magic canceled and the fact that she was now a paraplegic, hell she couldn't even call for help. She could only hope that help was to come.
AWHOOOOO!
Luna knew what awaited her as she heard snarling and the rapid approach of paws stamping the ground approaching her she began to tear up and tremble. The timberwolves approached their injured prey sniffing round her. it was not long after that they began to tear her apart.
