A rainbow maned Pegasus groaned and smashed on the snooze button. Though, with her luck, she missed. Then the radio came on.
Hello and welcome to Ponyville Radio News at 1:00 pm! This is your host, Golden Voice, here with my co-anchor Bright Willow!
Shut. Up. Rainbow rolled out of bed, but decided against turning off the radio. There might be something interesting on. She shook out her mane and dragged her cyan body over to her sink and brushed her teeth.
Today's story is one that has been striking the town. Mare Do Well. Will she come back? And is her rival, the lazy, over-confident Pegasus Rainbow Dash going to be able to show her face after a public humiliation.
Rainbow's heart froze for a moment. She spat her tooth paste out and stared at her mirror in disbelief. The radio carried on.
What do you think, Bright Willow? "Well, Gold, I think Rainbow Dash should stay right where she is. In a humble position. She got shown up badly and she should law low for a while." Wow Willow. That was some statement, aren't you worried she will hear that?
Rainbow couldn't believe what she heard next.
No, Gold. She would be too busy sleeping in the clouds she is supposed to be clearing.
They laughed. Everypony was laughing probably. At her.
Rainbow looked at the mirror again. She was hideous, in her eyes she looked like she couldn't have looked worse. but she was beautiful. She just didn't know it. Rainbow snapped.
"Arghhh!"
The shocked Pegasus smashed her mirror. Now she was looking at bloody hooves and a half shattered mirror. Just like her. A half shattered piece of crap.

Rainbow ran into her room and smashed her radio until it broke into little pieces. Then, she did the thing she despised the most. The thing she would do last in a situation like this.
She cried herself to sleep.
(Twilight's POV)
A purple Unicorn was drinking tea with Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity. Pinkie Pie had to baby sit the Cake's babies, and who knew what Rainbow was doing, sleeping probably.
"Where the hay is Rainbow?" Applejack spoke up in her southern accent.
Everyone looked at each other.
"Sleeping."
Twilight was getting sick of all these 'lazy Rainbow Dash' jokes. It was quite annoying.
"Let's just turn up the radio." Twilight said and right when they tuned in, They heard Golden Tongue's voice.
