Freed by the Moon

Its amazing what a good shower can do for a person's mood. I was feeling better till I looked in the mirror. A virtual skeleton stared back at me. I should be dead I thought to myself. How the hell did I survive the last five years? All I got was stale bread and water. Not wanting to dwell on my image I walked out of the bathroom. I wasn't expecting both Princesses to be sitting on the bed. When they gazed upon my true condition I could sense their profound saddness, but Luna's shifted to rage just as fast.

"By my moon and the stars, the ones responsible for your imprisonment wil be held accountable."  Luna declared walking over to me. "There is absolutely no reason for you to have been treated like a mindless animal."  When she got to me she wrapped her wings and arms around me in another hug.

"Luna is correct. The ones responsible will be punished for this crime. What was done to you is monstrous. It should have never happened in our realm. You will stay here in the castle under our protection."

"Thank you Princess. I don't know what I would do with myself. I seriously doubt I could fend for myself right now. Even though I've been here five years I've never seen the outside. I have no knowledge of this world or its ways."

"We will help you with whatever you shall need Jeremi. Come let us get you started on your way to recovery by getting a good meal in you."

"Ok, I uh guess I should point out the fact that I'm omnivorous."

Luna looked at me for a moment then over to her sister. "Will this be a problem Tia?"

"I don't see why it should be. We cater to griffons and dragons when they are here." Celestia looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "Is meat a requirement for you to stay healthy Jeremi?"

"It is. I can eat grains, fruit and vegetables, but I need meat to build my body mass back up.I lost a significant amount of musculature from my imprisonment. I weighed almost three hundred pounds before. Now I would say I'm under a hundred and fifty."

I once again got looks of sympathy from the both of them. "How did you survive this? Anypony else would have given up."

"I asked myself that when I I looked in the mirror. I guess it comes down to the human spirit Princess Luna. We have as a race overcome long odds and situations that should have killed us, but some individuals come out stronger than before. I guess when I heard you whisper that you would free me when you was set free, it gave me some hope."

Luna glanced over at her sister. With a barely perceived nod Luna turned back to me. " First here are some cloths that we think will fit you. Also you do not have to call us princess. You can call us by name. Its the least we can do after what happened to you. Now get your cloths on and we shall go eat."

"As you wish Princess" I said with a cheeky smile.

As we walked to the dining hall the Princesses gave me a mini guided tour. Damn this place is impressive I mused to myself. When we was seated they asked for the griffon chef to come out and discuss with me on what I could and couldn't eat. After we had made our selections we was talking quietly when the doors opened and a white stallion walked through. He had that age old "I'm better than you and don't forget it" aura going on.

He stopped dead in his tracks and just stared at me. Finally be turned to the nearest guard." What is the THING doing out of its cell?  Remove it from my sight and take it back to its cell now!" Funny the guard didn't even move. When he noticed this be puffed up. " I am PRINCE Blueblood and you WILL follow my orders."  The guard just kept looking straight ahead. Clearing her throat Celestia spoke up then.

" I take it you know our guest then nephew?"

"I gave the order along side Captain Armour to throw that thing in a cell. It was never to see your light ever again."  By then I was shaking uncontrollably. When Luna noticed this her eyes started to glow white.

" YOU WILL REPORT TO THE THRONE ROOM IN ONE HOUR. AM I UNDERSTOOD BLUEBLOOD." He nodded his head. " GOOD, I WANT CAPTAIN ARMOUR THERE AS WELL" she said looking at a guard. "Yes Princess. I shall let him know."

When she turned back to me her ears powered to her head. I was shaking like a leaf. " Jeremi are you ok?"

"No Luna I'm not ok. I don't know what wrong with me. I feel totally powerless. It's like I'm less than nothing."

She walked back to me and wrapped me back up in her arms and wings. " You are stronger than you think. A lesser being would be broken by what you have endured. Now come let's get you to bed." Looking over to Celestia. " I shall make sure he's asleep before I return. Wait for me before you start please."

" As you wish sister. We shall make sure justice is done."

" Yes Tia we will make sure Jeremi has his justice for his suffering."
