The Princess meeting of important matters
"Spike are you sure I've packed absolutely everything?" Spike looked up at Twilight bags evident under his eyes. He yawned briefly showing his sharp white teeth.
"YES! I'm sure that's everything. You kept me up all night with your worrying!" Twilight looked at Spike sympathy and apologeticness ( apologize apologies? Eh.. I'm sure it's a word somewhere) glimmering in her eyes.
"I'm sorry Spike this is just-" Twilight was cut off by a claw over her mouth. Spike yawned again before speaking.
" I know your going to that princess meeting or whatever. I don't care I'm just looking forward to some shut eye!" Spike slouched over to the castle his claws scratching on the shining surface.
Twilight watched Spike until she could see him no more. He seemed very tired. She furrowed her eyebrows as anxiety entered her heart. She shrugged. He'd be fine. She galloped over to the train station in a mad manner, only slowing when she realised she had to be dignified as a princess. She looked around and jumped aboard a train about to leave. She sat back sinking into the comfortable seats, ready for the relaxing journey to Canterlot. She organised her paper ready to revise her notes. The train started its slow assent up to the castle.
Suddenly the train jolted and Twilight awoke with a start. She hadn't noticed she was asleep until she was woken. She looked out her window expecting to see the high rise of Canterlot but all she saw was fields and sheep, lots of sheep. Anger started to build in her heart. She HAD to be at the meeting on time!
Twilight stalked over to the conductors carnage and angrily knocked on the door. The door opened revealing a gruff pony who looked at her with cold blank eyes. "Um hello" Twilight said as the conductor just stared blankly at her. "So uhh... I was um... Wondering why we stopped." The conductor stayed silent still staring blankly at Twilight, drool starting to drip down his chin. " Um okay I'll just go look out of the uhh-" Twilight turned tail and ran.
Twilight slowly collected her thoughts and realized it must be sheep. After all sheep were the begin all and end all of world problems. Twilight stepped outside and sure enough outside, blocking the track there was a load of sheep. They weren't doing anything. They were just kinda standing there. Eye twitching Twilight lifted up the sheep and Teleported them to Yakyakistan.
She then stomped back onto the train and slammed her hoof onto the conductors door. With a jolt the train started again. Twilight headed back to her seat, still shaking with anger. As she was walking back to her seat she stared to worry. What if she didn't make it there on time?! Then Celestia might find a way to remove her wings and then Cadance would hate her and then she would be stuck cleaning the sewers for a living!
Twilight's despair deepened when she reached her seat only to find somepony sitting there. It was a stallion. His hair was greasy, he was sweaty and eating nachos. All over his clothes were pins from children shows like My Little Human. "Ugh" Twilight thought and shivered "A Bruman." Twilight cleared her throat. "Um hello good sir." The pony turned his head. "I think you'll find that your sitting in my reserved seat." The stallion turned his head back round and grunted. Annoyed Twilight perched on the edge of the seat next to him wrinkling her nose at the pungent odour of cheese.
Twilight stood on the Canterlot train station cold wet and covered in poo. The official worst train journey in Equestria was finally over. The highlights of this trip include the train getting lost and ending up in the crystal empire. A bunch of Pegasi deciding it was funny to let a rain cloud loose in the train and the fat nerdy stallion next to her fell asleep on her. The reason she was covered in poop. Well lets just say the pony next to her had a weird fascination with cow poop and her hair. Even though she felt disgusting she was so excited. Finally she was here. She rushed to the castle at full gallop. Screw her dignity. She lost that on the train ride.
Twilight entered the Canterlot castle. She was finally here at the room. Only for a pair of guards to stop her. One of the guards growled at her while another yawned bored. " Who goes there?" The guards asked in a monotone voice.
"Princess Twilight Sparkle" Twilight said brightly. One of the guards lowered his spear but the other wasn't so sure.
"How do we know it's you?" Twilight took a step back shocked by the rude tone of the guard.
"Well of course it's me. I mean, who else would it be?!" The guard looked at her covered in drool water and poo.
"I don't believe you." He growled. "Princess."
The guards knees shook. "C-c-come on in P-Pr Princess." Twilight stalked into the room, leaving behind the one guard. The other may have decided to take a vacation to the moon. When Twilight looked around the room she saw the Princess's looking at her in shock. (Well except Flurry heart but who really cares about her?!) Cadance grabbed a towle in her magic and began wiping Twilight down.
Celestia was the first to speak, breaking the silence that had enveloped the room. "Welcome Twilight. I believe you had an interesting trip." Twilight snorted while Celestia gave her an amused glance. Twilight brightened when she remembered why she was there.
"I found some problems to discuss including the rate of..." Twilight's speech faded as she watched all the other princesses desperately trying to hold back laughs. Twilight looked around confused.
"Twilight you don't honestly think we gather together to discuss problems do you?" Twilights confusion swiftly turned to anger. Then Cadance piped in,while wiping Flurry's snotty nose, to say
"Yes why would we do that if we can give all that work to our advisors."
The anger building up in Twilight was too much and she felt her mane catch fire. Luna looked over at Twilight and dumped a bucket of water on her. Cold,wet,angry and being laughed at by the Princess's Twilight groaned and slammed her head on the table. This is why she hated being a princess sometimes. Contrary to popular belief there wasn't much for a princess to do. Hay, even FLURRY HEART knew more about being a princess than she did. This made today the third worst day of her life. She could only hope Spikes was better.
Spikes eye twitched his bloodshot eyes were wide open and his pillow was folded over his head. The one day, the ONE DAY he had for rest was the day half of Ponyville decided to have building work. One day, Spike promised to himself,one day he would get revenge. Get ready Equestria. Here's Spikey.
