Heart warming series

"C'mon Ryan you can do it just say a few words complement her and ask her out simple" my friends said. Her name was sunset shimmer we knew eachother since we were kids and have been the best of friends now she's helping me get a date.

  "Yeah, yeah your right i gotta do it" i said and walked over to this cute girl that i liked. She had blue hair and wore a pinke dress with blue boots. Sunset saw me walk over to the girl and started talking with her but she the girl laugh in my face then walked off i went back to sunset and slumped on the wall.

  "She said no?" Sunset asked i nodded sighed she she got to my level and smiled i saw this and gave a small smile back. "Dont worry im sure there's someone out there for you promise" sunset said, i dont know why but when she said that it always brought me a little hope.

  "Yeah your right" i said she helped me and we started walking down the hall. "So i heared your friend rainbow dash found herself a boyfriend and it was an old friend as well?" I said sunset nodded.

  "Yup its nice seeing them together and i remember raider asking either applejack or fluttershy what dash likes it was sweet in a way" she said i chuckled.  "Whats so funny mister cant get a date"

  "I was remembering the time when me and you first met...damn its been awhile since then huh" i said she nodded.

  "Yeah it has...hey remember that time when me and you started fighting over a peice of candy on Halloween but our parents took it away from us?" She asked me i nodded and started laughing.

  "Oh yeah man thinking back to that it was kinda funny" i said and laughed some more she joined me. We calmed our laughter and lowered it to light chuckling we heared the bell ring and we started heading to class kinda cool that wr almost have every class together.

  As we were walking i started remembering other times me and sunset. I remember us sitting on a bench and she was putting bandages on my arm and face because of a fight she looked so concerned about this but i seemed to calm her down then i saw another image of me with sunset and we were playing so games at her house she wom everytime and i almost tossed the game system out the window i chuckled at this. I then saw a image of her just sitting under a tree sleeping and hsd a small smile on her face, my hesd pokes out of the tree and i drop down then scared the living hell out of her i was on the flooring dying while she pouted cutely.

  'Wait did i just call sunset cute?' I asked myself. 'Naw probably not stupid mind' i thought i then felt someone grab my sleeves i turned and saw sunset. "What up?" I asked her.

  "Um you ok cause you almost walked off?" She asked me i nodded. "Ok c'mon were almost late" she said and dragged me to class. We sat next to each other and did our work well i took a peek at sunsets paper then quickly wrote it down she notice me doing that so she quickly finished the assignment and turned it in making me bang my head on the desk.

  "C'mon its not that hard ryan look all you have to do is have the y by itself easy just use y=mx+b and your done" sunset said i sighed then nodded. I got to work and finished right before the bell rang me and sunset walked to our gym class and saw dash with a kid wearing a black hood. The guy grabbed her and kissed her cheek making her blush i chuckled and nudged sunset.

  "That him?" I asked her then pointed to dash and the hooded kid, she looked and nodded. "Im gonna introduce myself wanna come along?" I asked her she nodded and we made our way over to the little couple.  "Hey dash this your boyfriend?" I asked her the hooded kid shot to his feet and went for my fighting instincts kicked in and used my right arm to move the fist and shot one of my own landing in the middle of his chest. He fell to the floor and dash went to him i then realized what i done and got out of battle mode.  "Holy shit dude im so so sorry" i said and helped the guy up he coughed a few times but chuckled after that.

  "All good mate thought you were Richardson" the boy said before taking his hokd down he had long black shaggy hair with very tanned skin and had a scar running down his left eye and his eyes were blood red. "Names raider by the way" he said.

  "I know sunset told me about you and little dashie" i said using dashs pet name she blushed and gkared at me. "When were gonna tell me about your little boyfriend dash c'mon i thought we were friends" i said and chuckled a bit.

  "Well i was gonna tell you after this but well now you know but anyway how have you been?" She asked me.

  "Been good got shot down again you know i feel like o asked out most of the girls in the school and not one has said yes to me" i said and sat on the floor. "And no i didnt ask out dash raider so dont go trying to beat me up again"

  "Well you got to remember theres always someone out there for you, either you find them someday or they will just give it time took these two all of middle school and twi years of high school to go out" sunset said and raider and dash glared at her.

  "Yeah your right guess i just gotta wait" i said and leaned on the bleachers sunset did the same and we watched the others run around the gym. Rainbow saw me and sunset sitting next to eachother and smiled evily.

  "Hey ryan?" She called out to me i turned my head but she quickly turned sunsets and pushed her on me we fell on eachother and i felt soft lips on mine they tasted like cinnamon i looked at who it was and it was sunset. She got up and her whole fave turned red mine did as well.

  'My...first kiss was with...sunset' i thought still dazed about what happened i heared dash and raider laughing at this i turned them and gave a hard glare as i was about to lay down the hell sunset got up and ran out the gym. "See what you did dash great...sunset come back" i called out to her and ran after her but its as though she vanished. "Damn it rainbow dash now she moght be to embarrassed to even talk to me" i said to myself and walked ack into the gym. The rest of the day i didnt see sunset anywere and lunch was when we go to different tables so i dont know were she was. The day soon ended and i was walking home alone.  "Kinda wish sunset was here walking with me" i said to my self  but i sighed and continued walking home. I opened my door and went inside then closed the door i was kinda glad my parents aren't  here for once the reason why there gone is because they have traveling jobs so when i was old enough they let me stay here and they help pay for the house.  I walked to my room and flopped on my bed and looked at the ceiling.

  I kept remembering the kiss i felt a slight blush on my face thinking about it. 'I kissed sunset' i thought o er and over in my mind. I started having images of sunset being next to me,helping me through thick and thin, nurturing my wound from fights us having fun, laughing and messing around i felt my heart race a bit i jever really knew sunset was so beautiful and after all these years the images stop on me and sunset kissing. I gripped the part of my shirt were my heart i felt i go faster every time i thought about sunset i had no idea that the person for me was next to me my entire life.

  "I love sunset" i said i felt my phone vibrating i took it out and saw ot was a text from sunset i opened my phone and read the text.  "Can i come over so we can talk about what happened?" I read aloud i felt nervous but why i knew sunset for years tbis should be easy but yet im having trouble saying ok.  I shook my nerves away and texted her alright she replied with a thanks and i waited for the door bell to ring.

  "Damn whats she gonna say is she gonna nit want to talk to me ever again no ryan thats silly were friends she wont do that but i now i wish we were more than friends" i said and heared the door bell eing i walked down stairs and opened the door ir was sunset with a sad expression.  "H-hey sunset uh c-c'mon in" i studdered out but i punched my leg stoping it. She walked in and we both went to the living room and sat on the couches silently. "Sooo. What did ya want to talk about?" I asked her.

  "I wanted to talk about what happened early today" she said and my heart dropped.  "You k ow what i mean right the...kiss" she said and blushed i nodded. "Well i wanted to see if were still gonna be friends?" She asked me. I got up and sat next to her then pulled her in for a hug.

  "Of course sunset nothing can break our friendship not even a little kiss" i said she turned to me and smiled.

"Thats a relief i thought you didnt want to be friends anymore" she said i chuckled.

  "Hey your my best friend i would never leave you" i said she giggled. We talked for awhile and soon sunset had to leave and i was by myself again. "Well im gonna head to bed" i said and did just that but i still thiught about the kiss me and sunset had i chuckled and fell asleep.

  (Few days later)

I was sitting next to sunset and copying off of her but just like before she finished it and turned it in before i could finish.

  "I hate you some times you know that" i said as she sat back down she nodded and smiled. "Hey so i need your help again sunset" i said she rolled her eyes but smiled. The bell rang and we walked around the hallway 'alright ryan todays the day you knew her since you were little so it should be easy just ask her out' i thought in my mind we reached our gym class today we were playing soccer so i saw raider and dash sitting on the bleachers together me and sunset walked over to them and sat down. "Sup you two hows it been" i asked them.

  "Good and sorry for that little prank i did on y'all a few days ago" dash said i shrugged it off cause it made me realize something.

  "Ah your good lass all's forgiven" i said and they smiled. "Now hows the happ couple doing?" I asked them.

  "Good me and dash gad our first date yesterday at her house" raider said and pulled his hood down i was suprised becasue he cut his hair the sides were cut to a zero and combed the top of his head to the right. "What suprised that i got a hiar cut?" He asked me i nodded. "So was dashie but said she i looked good with it" he said.

  "Ah good man well glad you guys are doing well im gonna try and get a girlfriend today thats if she woul say yes" i said and sunset patted my shoulder.

  "Hey c'mon have a chance and maybe this will be the one for you" she said. 'You have no idea' i thouthought and smiled. "So were is she so you can have a shot at it" she said.

  "Um can we go somewhere more...private dont want these two to do anything stupid to ruin it" i said she nodded and we walked behind a near by tree and sat down.

  "So whos your crush this time?" She asked me.

  "Well its...more like i fell in love with someone" i said and she was shocked but also saddened.

  "Um ok what does she look like?" She asked me and sat criss cross i leaned under the tree.

   "Well she has the most beautiful turquoise eyes i ever seen has nice orange skin cute face and has hair that looks like the late day sky " i said to sunset who had a look of sadness on her face i looked at her and she had her head down i put on a small smile and out a finger under her chin and lifted her gaze up to me. "And do you know what her name is?" I asked.

  "Whats her name?" She asked still saddened i chuckled and pulled her in and hugged her from behind. "Wha-hey what are you-"

  "Her name is sunset shimmer" i said. There i said it now i pray to god that she will accept.

  "Me you love...me?" She asked me and stoped struggling to get out of my grip.

  "Yes i love you sunset it took me a few days ago to figure out how special you are to me and how much you helped me remember how you said theres gonna be someone out there for me?" I asked her she nodded. "Well it took me my whole life to figure out that she was standing right next to me and i didnt even know it" i said and hugged her more. "Sunset i know we are the best of friends and nothing can break that but i want to be more than friends...sunset will you go out with me?" I said and i shut my eyes and waited it was a whole minute that passed and she has said nothing i felt my heart drop and tears well up a bit i let go of her and she turned to me. "I-i understand im sorry that i asked yo-" i was cut off by her smashing her lips on mine suprising me completely but i calmed down and kissed her back.

  We stay like that for what seemed like forever. 'I did it i got the one i love" i thiught as i kissed her. She tasted like cinnamon like last time but there was something else as well it was like cake she tasted sweet and i didnt want to stop. But good thing have to ened and i was running out of breath and so was sunset we parted and stared into eachothers eyes.

  "I...love you too ryan ever since we were in the fifth grade i started having feelings for you but i was scared you might think i was creepy and didnt tell you" sunset said. I smiled and kissed her again just a quick one then i looked at her again.

  "Yeah you would have been right" i said making her give me a deadpan look i laughed. "But i would have also started feeling the same way to you as well" i said making her smile. "But sunset will you go out with me" i asked her again.

  "I would love too ryan" she said and pushed me ti the ground and took off her jacket. "But i kinda wanna kiss some more" she and bent down and started kissing me again. I loved it each time i kissed her her lips were soft and sweet i started getting adventures and had my hand run down her body one hand landed on her cute butt and the other on her thigh she moaned as i did this and put her hand up my shirt now i wasnt buff or anything by i had some abs i was really skinny as well. I noticed that the trees leafs were shuffling and i saw rainbow hair i rolled my eyes and kept making out with sunset. We soon needed air and we parted and laid on the grass together.

  "Hey sunset?" I said she humed. "I know we jjst made out but how about we try something else?" I asked she looked at me and gave a devious smile.

  "What did you have in mind?" She asked me. "Cause i was thinking we can go back to your place for more...fun" she said putting more emphasis on fun i smiled and nodded. "But first" she said and looked up the tree i did as well. "Stop peeking on us you two!" Sunset yelled and two bodys fell on the ground it was dash and raider.

  "Really did you have to scare us?" Dash asked us i nodded.

  "You were spying on us making out and so we decided to scare the shit out of y'all now if you excuse us me and sunset are gonna head to my house for something" i said and we got up sunset locked her arm with mine and we started walking away.

  "Wait theres still half the day of school" raider yelled to us i peered my head over to the two and winked.

  "I know but dont tell no one later guys" i said and me and sunset walked off to my house. Sunsets friends and raiders friends alomg with his sister came up to them.

  "Who's that with sunset?" Applejack asked rainbow.

  "Thays her old friends ryan they knew eachother since they were kids ryan just confessed to her after so long" dash said and the girls awed. "Now there heading to his house"

  "Why are they-"

  "Lets just say there gonna be very i mean very close when they get to his house" raider said and wrapped an arm around dash. "Wanna do the same?" He asked her she blushed bright red but nodded. "See you guys later were gonna yeah" he said and they both walked off.

  "Well sunsets got a boyfriend now whos next" applejack said and they all looked to her. "What?"

  "Aj who do you like?" Twilight asked.
